- Some issues, but overall the best for real estate perusal

Yes, there are issues, some that are beyond aggravating. Yet it is the one app I go to on almost a daily basis for 2nd home and vacation condo shopping, or to just look at dream homes in new areas. On my iPad, most recently the app just locks up, requiring either a restart or deleting and reinstalling the Zillow. Ultimately I’d love to see 3D street viewing as an option, and the return of image saving and saving to room choices...I lost all my Dream Kitchen and Master Bath photos saved from homes we traveled to Georgia to visit. Why did this option go? You can still screenshot an image, so privacy can’t be the issue. On the plus side, the option to connect with the agent, the display options, the filter features, and overall presentation are pleasant. Decent control over search saves and update notifications as well. I read another viewers issue with incorrect information, but when I cross-check w/other real estate apps, it looks as if it is the owner or agent that is supplying incorrect information, as it is consistent throughout all the apps. Thanks for fun home shopping and comparative analyzing, Zillow!

- Not a fan of the latest update; Zestimate algorithm feels Orwellian.

1. I feel like it’s now harder to see the HOA fees when you’re browsing, and those can make a huge difference in the affordability of the listing. Also, I feel like it’s harder to change the mortgage estimate (it used to be easy to zero out the insurance payment if you could see that was covered by HOA — it’s still easy to zero that out, but now I can’t figure out how to make it recalculate the monthly mortgage once I make changes). Also, the new app icon kind of looks like someone sat on the old logo/icon? Not sure if that’s what the effect they were going for... 2. Since Zillow relies on an algorithm to harvest listings from MLS sites, it’s not always as accurate as an actual MLS site (it often misses when properties are sold, for instance). 3. The Zestimate algorithm continues to puzzle me... it doesn’t seem to have much basis in reality, and when my house was on the market the Zestimate would fluctuate wildly, yet the sudden $30,000 drop in the Zestimate wouldn’t be reflected in graph of the recent Zestimates. It was like the 1984 version of the real estate appraisal... 4. BUT, I use Zillow to browse anyway because it’s free and it’s a relatively intuitive app — if I see something I like, I ask my real estate agent about it, and they send me the official MLS listing with the more accurate details.

- Review

This app has been frustrating at times. The house will be down the street, two miles away, or even all the way across the county from where the map shows it. When it is correct it is awesome! I love to see the inside views and the asking price while on location without having to call anyone. I HOPE they will continue to challenge themselves to IMPROVE this app. Plus! When you are totally not interested in a property, it would be great to be able to delete it from "My List". Just an added wish from a daily user. A MAJOR FLAW is the standard algorithmic equation for determining a homes value. WARNING! If you update an older home and do an extensive renovation, Zillow will not push against their own algorithm to make it reflect the work you have completed. Warning! If you do extensive and costly renovations, you will be dealing with a MUCH lower valuation from Zillow for the property as it existed prior to the extensive renovation. You can state all the renovations and changes that you made BUT! Your new potential buyers will constantly use the old Zillow price against you for negations. It is exhausting! You also get low bids constantly from others after you renovate looking to scalp your post renovation property for nothing due to this flaw in Zillow. This is an easy fix but Zillow doesn’t care. They make excuses and state it is the best they can do. Accuracy is the key.....

- Still Needs Improvement

Zillow does not worry about facts and their information can be very inaccurate. I was advised by my realtor to avoid using Zillow because of inaccurate information. The Zillow website is very user friendly, but just beware it can be misleading. After I bought my new home I “claimed it” on the Zillow website. They are showing I purchased the home for much less than I did, but they will not correct this information. I called the tax office just to be sure nothing bogus was going on. It turns out my info and the tax office is the same. So long story short, Zillow is not concerned with showing us inaccurate information. Update: After several email exchanges, scanning and submitting documents proving I was providing factual information, Zillow corrected the information I was disputing. The person who helped me seemed polite and helpful. So I changed my review from a 1 star to 3 stars. The reason for 3 stars is I still have several problems with what happened. First off, I still do not know why false information was provided. Second, I do not know why it was so hard to have the information corrected. Third, and this is my biggest problem...I have asked Zillow repeatedly where did they get their incorrect information, and Zillow has never responded to my question.

- Misinformation

I have had my condo on here with the wrong info. First time I had it corrected they ended up deleting all my comments for my unit all my descriptions were gone. Then it got fixed fir a small period of time after I rewrote all my descriptions again and then all the sudden my zestimate changed to about 20k lower and my neighbor who has a similar unit only 80 sf smaller had their condo zestimate 20k higher. I’ve been trying to fix that fir awhile now. Then the walkability score I thought was low as I park my car on weekends and walk to dinner, the bars, the grocery, the shops, my errands, entertainment, cleaners, pubs, eateries. The schools are walking distance also but I have no kids so that’s not important to me. When I click the walkability link it brings up another page with someone rises address on it. It sure isn’t mine. So I asked that to be corrected again today. If your going list my Prperty just list it correctly. I really don’t want to email you a few times to get it corrected over and over. Please just correct as I provided proof of this and have yet to see any response or change in my listing. It’s a shame as Zillow was my favorite listing app for years now I’m starting to get disenchanted with them. Sorry but I’m tired of asking for my information to be updated and correct otherwise why have my property listed on their site.

- Horrible now with street view replacement

I previously liked this app but when I can no longer use the area view from above to see all sides of the house and the back yard, you made my job harder to find properties in another state. The street view is horrible, slow, and if the house property has an alley, you might see a little of the back, and sometimes you can't. What once took 20 secs now takes minutes to slowly navigate and many times I can't even see the side and back of a house. Please bring back the mapping view where I can use my iPhone to drill in, out and flip to the side views and back yard. This is how I narrowed down options plus it helped to zoom out to evaluate the neighborhood. The upgrade also lost some property lines on that view (iOS 10.3.3). This is also important to me. I want a list of 5 homes to look when I go to my hometown and you made that impossible. I will need to drive to them. People are losing opportunities and your value decrease A GREAT DEAL because of these changes. Please bring the satellite area view back rather than the clunky slow street one. Thank you.

- Used to be One of the Best House Hunter apps

I had previously rated this app as 4 * but I have ad to drop that down. It seems lately that when some of these app developers update the apps that it isn’t an improvement but rather the opposite. Such is the case with Zillow. They used to have a place where you could find your saved searches, but not anymore. It’s pointless now to save a search because you can’t go back to find it if you create a different search. Therefore you need to heart any places you like because you won’t find it in a saved search. Also, you used to be able to delete any places, houses, condos etc that you weren’t interested in so as to clear up all the results. Again, not anymore. It makes it quite cumbersome to drill thru all the results when it takes you back to the beginning of your search for whatever reason. Now with that all being said, there are still things I really do like about it. They seem to have the most results for an area than some of the other apps. They also have more stats on a house and are usually up to date as to whether a sale is pending on a place. So while they went backwards a bit, they are still fairly good compared to others.

- Helpful in searching

Zillow allows me to get a general idea of a property. This allows me to try an make a mor informed decision on which properties I want to look at. Although it is not Zillow’s fault, the pictures can be very deceiving. I wish the realtors would portray some different views. For me I am looking for somewhere I can also park our 38 foot Motorhome. I have found some locations that appear to offer that accommodation but I will not know for certain until I can eye ball the property in person. Again that is no fault of Zillow’s. I love having the satellite view showing the property lines. This tells me if there is enough space beside the house where I could make our own space for the RV but I find most of the houses are just about setting on the property lines as they are which afford us no option to extend a drive to the rear of the house. Over all I am very pleased with Zillow. I would recommend it to get general information. The information Zillow shows and what your real estate agent may or can be somewhat different. So use Zillow as a guide.

- Like looking at available homes but info is not reliable

Spent HOURS on the site, read all the home listing / price drop / misc emails they send me. Now b/c my husband is a real estate attorney I am not allowed to complete the survey they emailed me? Wow. Not wanting to hear from someone with access the true market? Well, here you go: 1) Zestimate feature is not considered reliable in the industry. 2) Neither is the monthly mortgage payment. 3). Search function is not always helpful. There have been times when I’ve tried to search for a home by the address or street and found no results when Zillow is sending me emails on the exact home that I’m not finding via their search function. 4) Why are homes on the site with no photo’s? If not available on day 1 or 2 that’s acceptable but to never put them up? 4) Schools should be correct - not an estimate. Parents want this information to be correct, not an educated guess. 5) And lastly, home availability is deceiving. Many homes show up as “for sale” until you click to view the photo’s and it changes to “pending”, “sold” or “off market”. Come on Zillow, get your information correct and respect your users time. I have no interest in wasting time looking at homes that I’m not able to buy.

- Not to sound over-“zillous”

Hello (or should I say “Zellow”) to the makers of Zillow, Let me start by saying great work. This is a great app that helps me efficiently keep up to date with the properties as they come on the market. HOWEVER, I think you should take it a step FURTHER. IMaGinE a world in which your zillow app also contained a calendar that kept track of all your up coming showings, open houses, etc. Currently, I use zillow to contact the landlord, who then contacts me and makes an appointment with me. I put that in my phone calendar, suddenly the day comes and I have forgotten what house I am even going to look at. I am then FORCED to transfer between my calendar app to the zillow app to look up the address and refresh my mind as to what house it is. THEN need to plug that address into my Google Maps app. Do you see how long this takes me? Meanwhile, I am baking in my hot black ford focus, waiting to even leave the driveway. Hey, I am not saying I am a professional in this business, though I have seen every episode of the Netflix Original Selling Sunset in which they sell the most luxurious properties in the country...so maybe I do know a thing or two...

- Went From Best to Worst

An example of a company being unresponsive to customers over the years, and failing. This used to be the best real estate app out there. It used to give you an advantage over realtors to see the valuable info, or potential discrepancies with listing prices. But now they are outdated and out paced by the others. Info and status takes longer to update than on competitors. Z-estimates used to be spot on, but now they’re 100k below market in the neighborhood I’m looking at (20%!). This damages the market. They are measuring value based solely on house square footage. So if a house is 20% smaller than comp sale, it estimates 20% lower value. No other factors considered, like same neighborhood, larger lot, pool, the fact that NO HOUSE in the city is selling for less, and it’s a seller’s market. So buyers see this estimate, and there’s huge discrepancy between their expectations and the listings which go immediately to pending. Then they lose out/ chase market. Also, I know people have been complaining about the non-close-able listing list that takes up half the screen for at least 5 years. More like 10. I know because I complained to them back then. Is it really that hard to hide the list?! Their competitors listened. Get the competing app. This one’s obsolete.

- Zestimates Are Helpful .....most of the time!

We use Zillow often and found 2 homes we’ve purchased after finding them on their site first because we don’t buy real estate directly through realtors anymore. Earlier this year something squirrely did happen with the Zillow Zestimates which had 3 of our properties estimated at 50 and 60 thousand dollars below their actual values. After several months the zestimates did climb back up to actual market rates but we were glad we weren’t selling any of our properties at that time because despite Zillow’s warnings, people do strongly depend on zestimate values while home shopping. Zillow states we shouldn’t base our buying or selling decisions on Zestimates as they are only estimates but they’ve been so successful at branding the term and successfully estimating values that buyers and sellers will bank on the zestimate number. Also, a little slow on recording final home sale amounts, other realty sites record them faster. That aside, Zillow only gets better and better and other sites still don’t compare.

- My Zillow agent

I was assigned Lisa DiNoto through this app. I had already decided to go with an agent I previously met at an open house I had stumbled upon, but had not actually used that agent to show me any homes. I decided to request information on a home I found on Zillow. That’s when I met with Lisa. I had no intention of using her other than to see that particular home. But as we viewed the home, I found her to be very helpful and she immediately took me to see a few more in the area. In the back of my mind, I still had no intention of continuing to work with her after we were done that day. As we viewed the last home, she had completely changed my mind. I realized that she was extremely knowledgeable in the areas I was looking and I felt no pressure from her to sway towards any particular property. After almost four months of searching for the perfect home, I have truly enjoyed working with her. She has made this process extremely easy and enjoyable.

- Good place to view value of homes

I enjoy seeing Zillow’s Zestiment on homes where I have an interest, either now own or and interest in buying. However, it often is inaccurate on properties I own or know about. On Zillow I have limited ability to change the estimate and the change is just for my viewing when it comes to comparable homes and therefore public zestimate. For example one home zestimate is $40k less than the house next door but I can’t use it to calculate estimate. The homes are very similar. Another home is historic but the zestimate compares it to homes listed or recently sold, often with less quality, instead of comparing it to other historic homes, where materials used in construction are of superior quality. Historic homes don’t often come on the market in my area so Zillow would need to expand the search area and/or use the zestimate of historic homes of similar quality not listed or sold recently. Bottom line the zestimate can’t be depended on for real value; but I still enjoy keeping up with homes and their estimated values. I would love for Zillow to add commercial properties to their inventory.

- Major issues-but has potential

This app looks great and has great potential but boy oh boy does it have problems. 1. The information is outdated, (not always but most times...when I show my realtor the house that fits what my wife and I are looking for it is normally already under contract/pending unless it’s just posted on the market. 2. They send out email notifications and you tap on the link....the app just crashes and pops you out to your home screen EVERY TIME! *you have to memorize the address and then open the app the regular way and search that address* what a waste of sending the link in the first place....other apps don’t do this! 3. Text notifications option would be nice with links that work....Notifications only come in email form. Idk about you but I get enough junk email everyday so the notifications sometimes get lost in all the emails I get In a day. 4. When drawing a line In the area you want to search...there is no way to zoom in or out without having to completely erase your line. There needs to be some way you can pause your outline and pinch in or zoom out to make sure the line you’re drawing is exactly where you want it to be.

- Not as helpful as before

Decent app but has recently been a much worse experience. Partially because there’s no quality standard for seller posting the house, partially because developers seem to be catering more to the sellers than buyers. I definitely want the ability to hide properties again. It was much easier to keep up with actually interesting and new listings when I could remove the ones we know were out of the running. This seems similar to Comcast’s (the most hated company in the US for a long time running) decision to clutter your channel guide just so they can throw in the must upgrade message in your face every two seconds. The other main issue is there have been more and more typos or false listings. Description and details not matching up on a house. Addresses not being correct. Huge price drops done “accidentally” to garner more attention. Outdated listings never removed. Rude realtors not interested in actually helping or asking what we’re looking for, just buy this now or sign up for our flier which is just a repackaged Zillow listing spammed out and not to our preferences at all. Zillow’s become a cesspool and needs some quality control.

- So you need to look for a home..,,it's all there is but is it worth it...no no!

This app is so invasive that it demands all your time, Particulars for those that are more discerning in the search for life accommodations. It stays active even when you want to sleep. It pops open after you initiate a conversation with it. Think of the most pushy car sales person you ever met who is also a dentist and learned sales on the floor of the NY Stock Exchange. If you like that kind of thing Z is your seller, but if you want support in making a difficult financial and life decision, well oops it's about the only thing available. But it will try to force you into neighborhoods wake you and put you to bed won't let you rest until you pick one and delete all remnants of it from all your devices. In that way it is satisfactory because after you make a decision you get to murder this irritating and obnoxious sales person and you will never want to make another purchase! You will also likely settle for less than you want since the irritation is constant and complete that you are imprisoned by it's overwhelming and constant presence!

- Saved homes sort and filter not working

I couldn’t find a place to submit feedback or ask for support specifically for the app unfortunately so I came here hoping the developer will see it. The app for the most part is decent and does what it aims to do, which isn’t very complicated. The one thing I’m frustrated with lately is that the “newest’ and “recent change” sort on my list of saved homes is not working in the iPad or iPhone app. I compared it to what I see on the Zillow website. The website is accurate- my saved homes shows me the homes I’ve saved recently in order from most recent to oldest. In the app, the homes listed under my saved list populate in a order that makes so sense. I am home shopping and have saved many listings over the years, but many more recently. I have a very hard time finding the ones I save in the last few days because my saved list shows random houses I saved years ago instead of my newest listings. Please fix this. Having a saved feature isn’t very useful if I can’t easily sort my saved listings and find the ones i need to look at.

- Love Zillow....hate the app

I LOVE Zillow and all the options they offer when looking for a please to call home, whether it’s temporary or permanent. But I only have a good experience when on my laptop. I got the app on my phone thinking if I’m bored, I could just pull up the app and search through houses in my specific filter. This is not the case, well for my app at least. I create a filter (2 bedroom, any bathroom, home type: house, and the rest is any) and it’s shows I have 16 options! Awesome! So I start looking and click on one house, look through pictures then go back to check out another. But it changes. Now I only have 4 options? I’m confused but I still click on another house, I look through the picture there and then when I go back again to look at the other ones, there are NO RESULTS. I don’t understand how this is happening and I feel like everything I get on the app it glitches out. Sometimes it finds houses and the next minute, there’s none. I really wish it didn’t do this because I love looking at house!! Zillow is amazing but I personally have app trouble!

- Great/ needs improvement

I love this app! There are some things that would really be helpful though. Some of the people I agree with. The aerial view back would be nice. The lot line feature is just not the same. I disagree w/ the street view not being helpful. I too am an out of town buyer and appreciate being able to “walk” around the neighborhood to see if people keep their properties up. You can have a beautiful little house sitting in the middle of a big dump, Or across the street from rundown down low income housing units, or right next to an abandoned oil rig. A picture of the front of the house just doesn’t tell you anything about the neighborhood. I say, keep Street view, get rid of lot lines and or add the aerial view. It would also be nice to be able to save a “definitely” list of houses and a “maybe” list of houses instead of just one long list. It would also be nice to have a sort feature that would sort them by location. Some of us are looking in multiple towns. I love this app, but it could use a good polish.

- Buggy Notifications and App

Overall, it's a decent app but the notifications are awful. They are NEVER accurate. This morning, I had the notification badge tell me there were 10 properties new or updated. I go into my saved searches and three searches had listed a total of 10 notifications. I clicked on one that showed 7 and there were actually 2. One new listing and one update. This is consistent behavior for the app and it's extremely annoying when you're house hunting. I should be able to determine what triggers a notification. I get notified when there is “a promotion” for new construction. Well a particular builder keeps promoting their properties, line at least once a week. I don’t need notifications for an open house. I only want to see notifications for new listings. If I have Saved Homes turned on, sure, price changes, an open house or anything special for a saved home but when the regular search includes a few hundred homes, I don’t want to be alerted for a $1,000 price drop of a home I have little to no interest in. Finally, the app has been buggy lately. I can scroll through results but I can’t click on or view a property. I have to restart the app often.

- My Favorite App!

We’ve been looking for a different home for about a year. I used virtually every real estate app and website applicable to my local area in central Texas during that time. I kept coming back to Zillow even after our realtor suggested that we stop using it. I found that the iPad version was simply the easiest and best way to efficiently and effortlessly search for our “forever” home. In the end we found our house on Zillow. We went to an open house a few hours after I found it only to find it had already been sold. Two weeks later I got a notification from Zillow that it was back on the market. I messaged our realtor and we made an offer that was eventually accepted. I doubt it would have happened without Zillow. It never showed up on other sites including the MLS search site that our Realtor was pushing. By the time we bought the house I felt more informed about local real estate than most realtors. Five stars.

- I really love Zillow

I really love Zillow and have turned to them for nearly a decade now. They make it beyond easy to search for a home or vacation rental. If I was to change anything about Zillow. It would be to not allow incorrect info from agencies or whomever. There are too many times that I type in a simple request; such as pool, amount of acres, year built or want a certain amenity. Only to find out (once requested) my search results don’t show what I requested. Making it much harder to search individually for my ideal home. This happens a lot, often from this company called invitation homes. Typing the same info on every listing, stating if your home has a pool, additional cost would be, etc... If possible, please do what you can to prevent this from happening in the future. If the listing doesn’t have what’s searched for then why does the listing even talk about it. Laziness on their part. Not Zillow’s, of course. Thanks again, Zillow.

- Great features IF you can figure out how to use them all...

I can't begin to list all of the features that Zillow provides to the prospective home buyer. Generally it's been a great mobile app. However, here's a handful of concerns: First, when you search it doesn't always find all of the houses that are listed using the filter parameters you put in. Second, it doesn't always show the houses that are listed by other "realtor" apps. Third, it's just kind of difficult to figure out how to get it to search for a larger area than just the city. We live in a smaller city (Amarillo, Texas) that has a lot of rural areas around it and would like to include those areas in our searches, in addition to some of the closer small towns. Fourth, just figuring out how to search and save a search is a bit challenging. In conclusion, as I said earlier, it is a great app that is loaded with features, and I will continue to use it as my main source of real estate information, but I just wish it was a little easier to navigate.

- Management does care

Update: Ok after the below review, Zillow personnel contacted me and told me exactly what to do in my settings to get it to work correctly. Looks like they do care so if you have a problem make sure to contact them. I did email them earlier about the previous version with the same problem I was just having but the person I spoke to did not have the same knowledge as this current, knowledgeable person. So be persistent. Earlier review and the problem I had: Zillow maps no longer works in this current version on 30Dec2017 nor did it work on the previous version... That's why I upgraded it. I guess the company no longer cares about the Zillow app product. I do not recommend downloading or using this product until they fix it. There are many complaints about the maps not working. Just do an internet search. Maybe one day the app will be useful again. I will review it again at that time.

- Former Realtor

I have the utmost respect for good Realtors helping clients buy or sell a home. They work hard and have expertise that most people don’t have. Zillow helps Seller’s listings for both agents and for those who choose to sell on their own. Although not as immediate as the local MLS, it gives buyers and sellers some ideas about and access to the current market. MY BIGGEST CONCERN: comparable sales given should not go back to previous “ years”. 3-6 months of comparable sales is the farthest back to compare sales. Professionals ( Realtors, Appraisers ) will only use RECENT sales for comps. Your sight shows sales too long ago. ALSO, many recent sales are not being shown. I know of at least 6 recent sales by the house we have listed that are not showing up. These issues cause inaccurate “zestiments” and give inaccurate market data to buyers. Also, assessed value can never be used to ascertain MARKET value. Thanks.

- Value of Homes Not Accurate

Update: Zillow did respond to my concerns. Answer was logical as to how home values are arrived - but - our home continues to change in value from neighbor homes. Why? If values are taken from sold homes of similar type in our neighborhood and unbiased, why the huge discrepancy? Zillow’s software surely can only give results from standard base line data. If homes are similar in design and make up, the values should be within reason - not a difference of $8k to $10k. Perhaps Zillow should only show a range of value - low to high - of homes within the area (neighborhood) instead of a single value? Previously: Not sure how homes are valued. House on both sides are valued several thousands different from ours and no improvements or repairs have been done. Our home has been taken care of, landscaping, upgrades, energy saving additions, etc. The problem with services like Zillow is it tags a home with a $ value that doesn’t do the home owner any good or help when selling - expecting to sell at its market worth. The real estate programs shouldn’t show any $ value on homes not listed for sale and only homes that are listed should have asking prices.

- Lots of false information

I get lots of notifications indicating dramitic price reductions. Upon investigation if almost always turns out that the lister has reduced the acreage just as dramatically. The taxes and some of the pictures listed are reflective of the previous acreage. I informed them of this yet I still am getting notifications informing me of these bogus price changes. What good is the app if the information is false? Notifications are ineffective as they do not conform to the preferences you have set, for example you are looking for a home with 25 acres and you will be sent market reports showing three 1/2 acre homes. How many times will you waste your time before you stop looking at them. It is easy to stop notifications but I have not seen how to adjust these reports. Lastly, the lot lines would be a great help except that they are wrong half the time. When there are multiple lots, almost always on vacant land and when the real estate agent lists and address that is different than google’s it would be relatively easy to compare this information when the agent is entering the information.

- Take a look DONT get your hopes up

I notice that on both my iPhone and iPad the Zillow app will occasionally say no internet connection even when I have one and can use it on other apps flawlessly. Even weirder it happens at the same time on both so if it goes down on one device and I switch it happens on the other one too....so I give up and start looking into other apps and websites. There are no settings for internet connections or reboot or resetting the app. But there are way too many options for notifications lol. That’s a little funny. Anyway hope an update in the future I’d the s quick fix but u have spent more time elsewhere losing more and more respect for the app especially when I found out huge inaccurate the sight Is. It’s a good first step for window shopping houses from a distant and getting address and local school info to investigate. So that’s a plus. BUT PLEASE keep in mind the only reason I’m writing this to customer support as well as my review is due to frustration from the continuous problem above.

- Great app, but wish saved properties were easier to view

I love using the Zillow app and find it to be very helpful and intuitive in most cases. My one complaint, however, is the way that saved properties are organized and viewed. It is not easy to view saved homes based on location or on date added to favorites. For example, I am looking at homes in a few different states, but when I go into my saved homes tab, it shows me everything I have saved. When I zoom in or select a home in a particular state, I can view its details, but when I go back, it zooms back out to show me the entire country. I wish that I could filter the viewing of my saved homes by area or at least by the date that I added them to the favorites list. There is a sort by “newest” option, but this appears to show me the most recently built homes rather than the most recently added homes to the list. This change would make the app 5 stars for me!

- Buying and selling

I have used Zillow to find homes and have found it very useful and friendly. I have also “claimed” my home and have recently listed it. I love the fact that I can see views and saves, however, I have to keep in mind it seems to count my looks as well. Second, all the information about my home from my realtor’s listing did not come over correctly and I have had to go in and fix some- others I couldn’t fix. Thirdly, when it compares your home to “similar listings” it uses an algorithm that is not well written. For example, there is a house for sale about two doors down that is “comparable” but zillow compares my listing to one $100,000 less one week in a different area and then suddenly switches to one $100,000 more in another area and doesn’t ever compare the one around the corner. This makes the comparison data useless to me. Other than that- I am hooked. I am hoping that my home will sell, I will finalize my contract on the new one, and I won’t need to use this app ever again very soon!

- It sure what’s going on

So my husband and I have used this app for years and it’s been very helpful on our home buying journey . We ran into some issues with the homes we liked being already pending or even sold !! And some minor info issues , but overall it was a good tool . But now that we are in the SELLING end of this process , there’s been much info that has been wrong about our home , we were able to get them taken care of thankfully. But the biggest issue / annoyance is that our number of views has dropped over 500 views in the last few weeks !? We assume that once you “ view” a home it’s been seen and one can’t simply in view it , but it’s happening . From what we understand those are indeed the “ all time “ views so what gives !?! Also we get that people can in favorite a house , but to have like 10 in a night randomly is doesn’t sound accurate when there’s been none prior . This is very annoying because potential buyers look to these silly useless statistics to get a homes popularity and presence ! Anyway that’s my main issue now .

- Great but needs distance from location added

I love Zillow and they have a nice app, draw on map features, notifications, and you are getting about as fast as RedFin for new market listings. My only complaints are the following. 1.) most of the time the push notifications for new houses deeplink me to a blank page. I have a 7 running the latest and greatest OS and have my apps on auto update (I’m not the idiot who thinks their app should work when it’s 100 or even 1 version behind). 2.) not so much an issue as a nice to have, the distance from current location on the listing page would be amazing to have.....maybe add that to your roadmap :) Trulia has this but Trulia also notifies you weeks after a house hits the market, so they are not really good for anything other than showing you the houses you could have looked at had you known about them.

- 2 major flaws in Zillow costing it 2 stars

Zillow is a fairly good app and has many advantages over it’s sister app Trulia. Zillow could easily be a five-star app except for two major flaws. Flaw number one is the open house feature. On Zillow the open house text does not provide a live link to your calendar. This is where Trulia has a huge advantage. On Trulia the open house text has a live link which immediately and simply posts the open house into your calendar. This is a tremendous time-saving feature which Zillow is sorely lacking. Flaw number 2 is the directions feature linked to the map function. Zillow is far inferior to Trulia in this department. In Trulia if you simply tap on directions it gives you very clear driving directions that will take you right to the house that you want to view. In Zillow attempting the same basic task does virtually nothing. All things considered Trulia wins this battle even though barring those two functions Zillow is a far better app.

- Buggy/annoying app ever.

This app is okay for the most part as it very useful and provides good information about what on the market and info on apartments/House though more features need to be added and as well as increase in customizing when save or looking through a list. One big bug that seems to stay with this app for what ever reason is ((when you are looking through then list and go click on a house or whatever and while your looking through the pictures or information and then click back the the list page and then go to press to see another house the app just doesn’t work you can’t get to the page of the house you click on so you have to click map or exit out and so if you where far down a list it’s very annoying as you have start back all the way up on the list and then swipe down to find whatever place your were trying to look up.)) so if they fixed that and the fact the app just randomly shuts downs down and closes you out for whatever reason. 🤙

- Great, But Fix the Schools Filter!!!

I love this app! I use it all the time, even if I am driving around and see a nice house for sale. I can use the Current Location to look up the house. My HUGE problem is that the Schools filter does not work. It's there to be able to look for homes near schools with a certain rating, from 1-10. I always set the Schools up as a filter, to weed out homes that are not near good schools. Well, it doesn't work. I still end up eliminating and Hiding houses that don't match the criteria. Not only does it not work, when you select Only Show Houses that Meet this Criteria, the amount of house listings you get gets HIGHER!!! And the schools near to these additional homes have lower ratings!! How exactly is that possible? It's supposed to filter homes OUT, not add ADDITIONAL homes! It's infuriating. You gotta fix it. Or just take off the filter at all!!

- Best tool for real estate sales

It is such a helpful tool for buyers who want to look for a home. You can type in area to search in certain communities. You can also draw the area you are looking for a home. You can see immediately the houses listed for sale in red dots including the asking price of the house. Upon clicking on the red dot you can see photos of the house with interior views of different rooms in the house. You can also see the detail facts of the house from number of bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage of the house. You can also scroll down to see the sale history of the house, the tax history , school district and other vital statistics pertaining to the property. If you are looking for a home to purchase you must download the Zillow app. It will save you much leg work.

- Helpful but could be better

Generally easy to use and the go-to app for real estate listings. I like the map feature and saving favorites with notes and tags. But I really wish you could eliminate properties that you already looked at and are not interested in from coming up in the search results each time. If you can favorite a listing, why not add X them out too? And the school search option really needs improvement. Would like to put in a minimum school score for each category (like K-6, middle, etc) and listings don’t show if under that. Hate scrolling so far down for school info since that’s about the first thing I look at to see if it is even worth reading the description and house details. I’m not going to bother if the schools are rated at a 3. But then the next time I search those listings still show. Frustrating and waste of time wading thru everything multiple times.

- Good App, But Not Perfect

What can I say? There’s simply no competition. This is the best personal real estate app that exists (I prefer LoopNet, but it’s a different sector type). That said, there are many simple errors that would be very easy to fix if anyone at Zillow actually took the time to update the app. See below for my general gripes: 1) Can’t turn phone sideways to get a horizontal rectangular selection of properties. 2) Even though it says you can, you simply cannot filter out auctioned homes, which completely throws off the selection when you sort for pricing low-to-high since they have a price of $0. 3) The school-scoring-selection (as is, only show me homes in areas with a HS rated 7+) does not work at all. 4) Many pre-fab homes and apartments slip through the filters to show up in incorrect categories, again throwing off search results (perhaps uploaded error, but there’s also no way to flag a post for incorrect information). 5) There’s no way to auto-zoom to the largest possible area for homes to show up. You’re either zoomed in closer than you need, or zoomed out too far for homes to show up. LoopNet can show properties across the entire country with no limit. And it’s quite fast. Why is this not possible on Zillow? 6) There’s no way to see which areas Zillow predicts to be hottest vs coldest or return more vs return less in the years to come. This would be an extremely helpful feature.

- Works well, but would like a few additions

Basically, this app works fine, but it does get listings slower than Redfin. Make these changes and I’ll give it 5 stars. - Require sellers include a floor plan with measurements, I’m not sure why this isn’t standard. - each listing needs to show whether or not it is VA Loan approved. The VA has just changed their website making it impossible for anyone to check if a listing is VA approved. I’m tired of waiting for my realtor to send a listing to the VA, then waiting for them to get back to us on the status of a listing, it’s a waste of time for everyone involved. By the time we find out, either we’ve fallen in love with a listing we can’t use our loan on, or the listing already has an offer bu the time we find out. - PLEASE, for the love of all that is unholy, add a button to each listing to tell the app to stop showing a particular listing. Just tell your developers to go look at Redfin, we need that button.

- Useful but lacks essential info

Zillow is my go to website, but Trulia and Redfin are serious competitors. In abscence of some basic info, like surface area, or sewer utility, focused searching is very limited. This also limits the accuracy of Zestimate. Also, limited is the demographic info that Trulia provides. Integration with FEMA /GIS data would complement the info and make it a one stop shop. Another missing feature is commute calculation, although the delineating of a travel distance area is nice. This doesn’t synchronize with the desktop version however. It’s nice that we have a street view, but we often need to get the bird’s eye view to see beyond the street level; is there a railroad running behind the house, or a chemical plant we need to know about? Another flaw is the lack of sychronization of saved houses between desktop and mobile versions. Also, the sellers should provide info we need to know before wasting our time visiting a house: how old the roof, appliances, cesspool, sewage etc, and not allowed to claim wood flooring instead of laminate. Particularly annoying is lack of apartment or house surface reporting, often misleading in the case of buildings. It would be nice to be able to delete a house from the result of the search that we are definitely not interested in, especially if the number of finds is too large and cannot limit y using the usual search terms.

- Needs LOTS of work & real customer service

Zillow needs better customer service for issues on the app or page. Their responsiveness to emails is slow & generic. A phone number with an actual person would be a decent start. I’ve reported several issues, but then have to wait days for a response, & then start all over. Also their for sale by owner FSBO listings are VERY difficult to see/find the actual OWNER’s contact info. It defaults to sending interested buyers to agents- which defeats the purpose of trying to cut out middlemen to reduce costs for both buyers & sellers. In a FSBO listing, the owner’s info should be predominantly displayed & EASY to click on to contact the owner. This is not the case. I have an issue with the map location; two homes are on top of one another - which covers up the other home & it’s info. Can’t get another to address the issue. Additionally, the “saves” counter isn’t operating properly- which can affect the home’s sell price since homes with more saves & interest receive higher offers. Lastly, the 3/D app has to be used in real time on w internet or strong cell service. One should be able to add 3D or panoramic photos in either Zillow app from the photos/ cell ph camera vs taking them & uploading them in real time. There isn’t internet nor a cell signal in our lake home on the side of a mountain which means I cannot post panoramic photos - even though I have them on my phone in my photos.

- No Satellite View, Map is empty grid, Can’t Hide properties any more

I used to absolutely love Zillow and I used to consider it a 5-Star app. I especially loved the Satellite Aerial View of properties and I hate that it was replaced with the completely unhelpful Street View. The Satellite View was what kept me from even looking at competing apps. I also loved the ability to Hide properties that I wasn’t interested in. Now, however, I too often get Error messages whenever I attempt to hide a property, and properties previously hidden now reappear in all subsequent openings of the app as if never hidden. Also, the Map View is now terribly inconsistent in whether or not it works. Too often I get an empty grid showing, instead of the map I need. This seems to happen constantly on iPad with the new version (no Satellite view) although my iPhone app (an older version which still has Satellite View) still works fine. I still love the ability to easily go to the Tax Collector website to get accurate information (for those counties which are publicly accessible) Please go back to Satellite Aerial View instead of, or in addition to, Street View. And please fix whatever glitch causes the map to instead appear as an empty grid. Once you fix the glitches and return to Satellite View, I’ll be happy to give a 5-Star rating (assuming no other serious glitches turn up).

- Correct Pin Location

Sometimes an address puts the pin for a property in the wrong location. That is frustrating to see the pin for your house miles away from where it should be. Your real estate agent may “lazy” and not even take the time to get the pin in the correct location. However, the professionals at Zillow will help you get this correct by finding latitude and longitude of your farm. Wow! The pin is finally in the right place. If your real estate agent can’t take the time to get the pin location correct, a different agent might be needed. Thank you Zillow for helping me get the pin on the map correct. It is nice to get the pins for other people property sales off of my farm too. You basically have to sell your own farm, and Zillow is a great place to post it.

- Application process is NOT good

I have been using the app now for the last 4 months as I’ve been searching for a home. The search options are great! I alive the ability to draw the map and have it find homes based on my criteria. However, in finding several that I like, the application process has been clunky at best. Some places will not allow me to apply at all (meaning it gets stuck at the password). Others, it will not allow me to scroll down to complete the process. My last recommendation would be to work with those using your service to post houses. Sometimes the pictures are horrible (sideways, of empty lots, dirty houses, etc.) and others the contacts or links posted don’t get responses. I have tried now to get in contact with a seller for a month. The house is still on the market but there has been no return call. It takes away from the credibility of your service.

- Where are all the homes?

I tried searching several cities and towns around my state, only to have nothing pop up whatsoever, not to buy or to rent. I tried searching the whole county instead. Literally no results. I did the same thing on a different reality app and it came up with hundreds of homes for sale and for rent. On the other app, a property popped up with every search I did. I keep in mind that it’s winter time so there isn’t as much on the market right now, but according to the other app there is and according to Zillow there’s only properties available for half of the year. It’s like they don’t even bother finding what’s for sale in the winter time, but I know there’s so much for sale and rent out there from every other reality app I’ve viewed. Long story short, Zillow lacks too much to be a reality app anymore. Try a different reality app before trying this one and it will save you many headaches.

- eh

have had Zillow for a little over a year now & have issues finding the perfect apartment. just ones that make me go “hm” and move on. there’s properties but they’re either gross or the tenant rules are wack. and trust me I’ve been searching different areas as well , not just one location. I can never find an optimal place. but then I went online and did a simple search and visited a few other sites. they weren’t that special. then I came across apartment list and found literally like 20 perfect apartments in the city I searched for right away. they asked me some questions and found places that were perfect matches and even some other ones and categorized all their findings. it’s honestly a dream come true because I searched that exact city on Zillow and found crap apartments for way too much money that didn’t have any of the features I needed. there’s commercials and what not for this app so it may seem more legit but I promise you this other app blew my mind

- Zillow Review

I’ve been using Zillow for about a month now in order to lease my condominium. It is a bit difficult to use, so for users it takes a bit to get adjusted to it. It could’ve been easier to use. But it does get the word out about my property which is to me the most important thing. I would use it again to lease my property in the future. For a potential client, it is very easy to use and provides a nice comparison when searching for related properties. I think that it’s important that potential users who want to list their property look at the blogs and see what other users have experienced in terms of hard to use features or just plain unresponsiveness on the part of Zillow to questions. I have just finished leasing my property, and I would like to take all the information that I have listed about my property and save it to the site, but not allow anybody to see it. But it appears that Zillow does not give me this option. So the next time I have to list the property available for rent, I’ll have to fill out all the questions again, as well as upload the pictures to the site. This seems to me to be quite awkward and time consuming. I don’t know why saving everything that’s already loaded to the site has to be reloaded.

- Newest update is difficult

The newest update broke a lot of the features that made the app stand out from the crowd. Saved searches feels broken compared to the website. And most annoyingly to me, I will not buy a house without AC, period. I live in an area where AC is considered “optional” but in reality just makes for a miserable swampy experience in the summer. The newest update removed “must have AC” from the search filter. Now I have to look at all the houses that may or may not have AC, and check the details manually. It’s a pain. It feels like a corporate response to there being potentially fewer available homes and to force search results to be more general to compensate. But we use filters for a reason, I’m not interested in throwing down hundreds of thousands for a house that I don’t want so stop making me slog through them to check when the previous version would do it for me just fine.

- Mediocre

Listings should not be allowed to rent out a shared living arrangement on the app (or at the least these listings should be excludable). This ruins the experience for people trying to find an apartment for their family. Additionally, the background check should not be billed before an applicant can confirm that the lister actually still is looking for a tenant. If someone is looking for a place for their family and all the places are not serious about taking applicants, or don’t properly take down their listing, applicants will be stuck with a background check that will expire and be left disillusioned. Listers should be able to opt-in to conforming availability daily and applicants should be able to see how frequently listers check in to their listings to further reassure applicants that they are not just being strung along. The app has a chance to be perfect, but in its current limitations it is only mediocre.

- Could use more viewing options

Some realestate apps allow you to swipe left to right on the list view. Would be nice if Zillow did the same.

- So. Many. Emails.

I really, really, really, really, really hate all the emails I get from this site. I don’t want all the peripheral junk emails you send me just because I save a home to my favourites. GET RID of the re-subscribe function immediately. Your app is great but the spam emails you send me are ridiculous. If I want emails from you I’ll subscribe.

- The Draw option

The ability to choose an area to look at by drawing a circle around is a game changer.

- Reasonably good but still not the best

The app is reasonably good, much better than Street Easy but please let me scroll through pictures on search results. I don’t want to have to open each listing every time!

- My Favourite

I love this app so much, i spend so much time looking at houses i can’t afford on this app. keep up the good work xx

- Great app for property

Easy to use, to search, to save.

- Not enough

Realetor found more properties then Zillow. But everything else is great!

- Too much SPAM

Developers: you Need to remove endorsements, marketing spam resulting from the installation process. I use the app then delete it entirely to avoid the spam in favour of other apps that don’t have this problem.

- Fantastic realestate

Love searching for new investments!

- Tassie rigger

Best real estate app available

- Great UX

Terrific app to source and view property.

- Totally 5 star app

One of a kind in app form - a must have. Basically does anything property searching and listing related that you could possibly want. Great interface and just like all good quality software, constant minor updates and occasional major ones keep taking Zillow from strength to strength.

- No support for Australia

Literally no results in my city with all filters off. Useless.

- Great tool for someone new to the U.S. Market.

As an Aussie moving to San Jose (sight unseen), this app has been amazing. Without it I would have had zero chance at making sense of what exactly is on offer in the U.S. rental market. With this app I was able to work out the best suburbs, the best properties and even plan where to buy a property 18 months from now. Strongly recommend. My only complaint is that I can't refine the regions further than a relatively wide area, so the list view section is virtually useless as most of the houses are well outside the zone I need to live within. Can we please have a feature where we can either select a number of locations with a custom radius (and overlap them all on a single map) or draw a region on the map by hand?

- Out of Date Properties

I have used this app a few time the last few years and I can't believe the number of times the real estate agents come back to me and tell me that the property was sold months ago or that the price of the property was incorrect and way higher. Zillow must pull information from other sites but not good enough to pull the correct information. I have now deleted this crappy app and have got with other competitors. If you do choose to download this app I would like to warn you to not get your hopes up until a real estate agent gets back to you

- Great search engine!

I love the detail you can extract when searching for homes on this app! Fabulous! I do wish we could have a filter to determine one story houses from multiple story houses. I'd also like to be able to filter retirement 55+ communities from others. It would be really helpful.

- Moving up

While this program will not answer all questions, it is the best real estate app for to get the most information. Knowledge is power or in this case buying power.

- Love it

I have a bit of an obsession with both houses, and real estate in the US market. This app feeds that obsession, and feeds it well. Perfect if you're looking abroad for both rentals or sales. Easy format to understand, and a good companion to Zillows' other app 'Ziillow DIGS'.

- Zillow is good

Great app, sometimes a little out if date with the market but the extra info you get more than makes up for it.

- Zillow

Good application , just updating information is a bit out of date or still hasn't been updated.

- Awesome

- Zillow is amazing!!

Zillow is fantastic! I can see all the houses even if they aren’t in Canada and on top of that I like how this app is free!

- No Canadian listings

I really don’t understand why this appears so high in the Canadian App Store when it’s largely useless here. Yes, I realize for a small minority of Canadians looking for American property it works, but I downloaded this app to help me find a home in Canada, which it absolutely cannot do. At the very least, this needs to be a disclaimer or pointed out somewhere in the app description, if it’s going to have such a high rank in the Canadian App Store.

- A Great tool

Valuable information when searching for property.

- No Canadian coverage?

- Crap

Video upload does not work.

- Canada support

Why is this even in the Canadian AppStore?

- No

Its bad.

- Get more Canadian listings

Your service is much more comprehensive than the Canadian REALTOR.ca

- Many features unusable if you are in Canada

Too bad many features not usable for Canadian addresses, otherwise I would love to use it

- Is this real. Or just a computer

No body returns your messages is this legit or fake.

- Not happy

1) Does not take into consideration my current location to offer the right properties. 2) I cannot make a selection of what I would like to find 3) I receive inappropriate offers all over the map in Canada AND the US when I just want to explore my area of interest When can I expect a BETTER version of the app?

- Nothing extraordinary

The app is very basic. Does not provide any information on the mortgage payments, estimated price or other useful features that you expect from a real estate app. Very disappointing.

- Easy and Fun to Use

Zillow is a great way to find a home, especially on another city. You can easily stay up to date on new listings, price changes and sales. It also provides useful information on market trends.

- Does not show houses for sale in my area.

And has actually categorized a house that I know that is on the market as “sold” .

- Sign In with Apple is not working.

Keep trying to Sign In with Apple. It’s not working. Goes back to the sign in screen every time.

- Not good for Canadians

Can’t switch it to CAD

- Not updated regularly

Availability of some places is not updated. Ad is displayed even after the place is taken.

- Also in Canada please!

I rated it highly because I wish our real estate laws in Canada allowed the level of transparency and information sharing possible in the States. People need to see what's available to out neighbours down south. As it is, our real estate system is controlled by agents who earn huge commissions by witholding information that could be easily shared using current technology. Canadians should demand more transparency and access to information on properties for sale in our country!

- Homes in Florida

Thanks to Zillow. We are looking for a vacations condo in Florida sitting in Toronto.amazing Home Searching App.

- Great app

This app has great info and is user friendly.

- Moving to NS

This is a great app , it gives you lots of information not only on the houses but the area the houses are located , more than the other 2 apps that I use .

- Great service

Nice to have this information when you’re interested in an area.

- Up to date.

Very good and up to date.

- So good

It was so good to use this looking for a house

- Downgraded

Unfortunately the latest update the other day has actually slowed the app down and caused it to become. a bit buggy

- Good reviews

Excellent vehicle to search houses...

- Zillow is amazing

Come to Canada. Great app

- Yup!

Great app. Works well. Use all the time.

- Zillow crap

Map function doesn’t work. Can’t see anything as property pics are covering everything and there is no way to change the view you get. Crap

- Love the 3D view

The main app itself is very nice and helpful, it learns what kind of price range and area you want without you imputing it (just only by analyzing what price range and area of homes you look at most) and will send you notifications for when a new one in that area, and price range hits the market! On top of that it shows some very nice pictures of the homes and some with 3D images of the layout inside! You can also make your own tags to why you saved a home which I find very helpful if there was a house that had a very unique quirk to it.

- Should provide local currencies and...

I hate they use United States dollars in Canada. Additionally, most property adds have little information and they use “fish eye lens” for photos which is misleading information. They should have certain quality standards so clients have access to transparent and accurate information.

- Easy search

I found this app makes easy to search.

- Amazing

I love this app so much! It is so helpful for everything that you need

- Not all web functionality is in the app

For example, I can’t take my listing off using the app. Only the website.

- Great App

Love it!

- Zillow

Very converse and informative!👍

- Filter not working

Search results are all over the place. Not interested. Only what I need!

- Perfect

Pecfect site to buy home !

- Horrible

Keeps subscribing me to searches and I can’t figure out how to limit them.... way too many emails.

- Home hunter

Best place to find a dream house

- NO Canadian rentals

Very unclear as to why you are advertising in Canada when you offer LITERALLY no Canadian rentals. Your marketing needs work.. only download if you are looking to buy.

- Searching

I’m searching for a trailer to buy that includes a share, not a rental. Have to wast too much time to find this information. It should be embedded where the price is stated, that’s the way it is on the competitors apps

- Zero out of 100

No listings ever...... Can’t even unsubscribe..... What’s this app supposed to be for!!? The GARBAGE

- Looking for a deal on a little gem

I am thrilled by the information this app offers. I am not familiar with the area we are looking to purchase a home in. This app allows a great level of comfort to the search and neighbourhood details. Get tool for peace of mind !

- My go to app

Easy to navigate Only negative remark could be you zestimate price is often quite far off

- Canada snubbed again

No Canada, no value!! How narrow minded can you be?

- Doesn’t work well on a small screen

Could use a bit of work to make it more usable on an iPhone SE.

- Club Membership

Love Zillow but, especially in Florida, there should be a filter to exclude properties where club membership is required. I’ve wasted a lot of time looking at “deals” only to find that there is a mandatory $40-70,000 fee on top of the listed price.

- Very nice

I was doing an online real estate investor course and the lecturer used this app for how to do research. It’s very good.

- Rebecca Glynn

Finding our forever home with Rebecca Glynn was an absolute pleasure! She guided us through the house hunting process and home selling process perfectly. Not only did she show us numerous homes in our price range and in the area we desired...she also advocated for us to get us the best home in the most desired location! We downsized from our home of 26 years to a new townhouse with all the bedrooms and amenities we wanted. Her resources created an atmosphere where we didn’t feel pressure to choose without the education of the area we were looking at. Every step of this process Rebecca was there for us! I highly recommend Rebecca. Don’t question which realtor will do more for you... Rebecca Glynn is the answer to buying and selling your home! It’s a daunting process that Rebecca made enjoyable!

- Zillow does not provide accurate content

It’s pretty disappointing to search for a home with a Pool and have to go through tons of homes with NO POOL. Or search for Homes and condos are listed or rentals listed under “For Sell” they don’t listen to feedback or update to keep it up to date. I sold a piece of property and that was just as a big of a disappointment as searching for one. My property didn’t show on map accurately and no one helped to fix it. The realtor said it’s always like that one Zillow. Pop ups that pop up make you accidentally click the wrong button giving a bad review for a good Agent and yet no one fixes or cares. I can’t wait til I find something that takes more pride in supplying information. How about new updates like swipe off page if you want to hide never see again. If I don’t like it I don’t want to have to sift through it again and again. Disappointed in Zillow. They do not approve or proof check anything!

- Well designed but not updated

This app is EXTREMELY well designed and user-friendly however it consistently does NOT update the statuses of properties for long periods of time. So when I see a listing “for sale” on Zillow, I always have to have a live real estate agent double-check the status of the property. I’ve never seen Zillow update when something was in “attorney review” or “under contract”. They only update when the sale is final and even that can take a while for them to update. Additionally the sale price that they post does not always seem to be the most recent sale price . The data has great “sensitivity” as it will list ALL houses for sale but not great “specificity” meaning that NOT all of the houses listed for sale Are necessarily ‘for sale’ anymore .

- School districts in is hit or miss

I really love this app and website. It’s a great research tool. I use it multiple times a day. However, I hate the fact that many homes will show on the map for one school district but when I google the address because something doesn’t seem right (cost doesn’t match for the area, street name in ad doesn’t match street name on map, posting says one school district but it’s placed on the map in a different district, etc.) I don’t know how people are able to do this. Or if it’s intentional or a glitch. But I find it extremely frustrating when searching for housing. I have children and am looking for a place to live in certain school districts. I can’t ever trust that a house is actually where it says it is in the app. This is causing a lot of side research and back tracking on my part to verify all the addresses through additional sources...... which is not only time consuming, it’s annoying!!!! Please correct this!!!

- Zillow published information & customer service

Hello, when we were looking to get a 2nd mortgage in Dec 2019, we decided to look into Zillow for a Zestimate. We found out that our house on Zillow shows it was sold as of Feb 2019. We thought that someone has fraudulently gas either sold the house or trying for a scam. We confirmed with the county recorder office as well as the city that our house was last sold on July 2007 by us. It was recommended to contact Zillow to remove the false sale info from the listing. We emailed 3 times in Dec 2019 and all 3-times they insisted that we provide them with all sales documentation and title to prove or purchase in 2019. They would not investigate their error and insist we fixed it from our end despite our detailed emails. We tried again in May 2020, but this time our email was not answered, It will take them 30-seconds to investigate and confirm their erroneous data entry, and yet they do not care. Zillow expect consumers to trust their data and information - what a joke.

- Makes searching for homes a breeze!

I’ve had the Zillow app for about a month now and I’ve been loving it ever since! I can easily find the app on my phone with it’s blue house logo. The aerial view of my area lets me find multiple homes that are available for rent or sale. The search filter allows me to find places under a certain price, by the number of beds, baths, distance to nearby schools, and many more helpful filters! After looking at pictures of a place that i’m interested in, i’m able to save that particular posting for future reference and even contact the owner. The app is easy to navigate, aesthetically pleasing, and more productive than searching through catalogues. It’s the simplicity that I love and I hope it stays that way! 5 out of 5 stars.

- Intuitive but not accurate

Over the past two days I have traveled many different parts of my state looking for land and houses for sale in all price ranges. Zillow has many properties, but a lot of them (especially the land) don’t have house or lot numbers on them. They just say what road it is or 00 as the number. If that’s the case and there truly is no house number or lot number, then in the description it would be nice to have some idea as to where the property is on that road as many back roads go on forever. Also, many of the properties in different locations weren’t accurate. Zillow would show a place and I’d arrive only to find that not only is it not for sale, but that someone already built a house on it and has an established residence. The app is wonderful as far as finding listings and the map, they just aren’t very accurate or specific.

- Just stopped working

I used to love this app and my husband always complained about it. I never had issues, but he would complain that he couldn’t see listings on his phone that I could see on mine. I never created an account and had no issues. The app recently forced me to create an account to use it at all and I’ve started to have the same issues that he has. Now when I have no filters on my search at all it is showing only 17 options for the entire municipality all of which are only lots or land. When I add filters to show only houses the app tells me there are no listings. I still live Zillow and use the website, but it’s harder to navigate on the phone. The app, however, is literally giving my no information to use so I’m forced onto the website. I am still giving at least 2 stars because when the app did work I loved it and it’s many features, but now I don’t have access to any of them.

- Love the App

I love the app! Especially the owner side - being able to control aspects of the home the also control some of the value (wish there were a way some remodels that boost property value reflected quicker - said every homeowner! ;-) Also wish current homeowner who has validated and claimed ownership of a house then had full rights to the content posted about the property (ie. Previously posted pictures - like how I can update other aspects of the home). I’m not saying I want to be able to keep the pictures, but if I want to remove them and make them “invisible,” I should, as the current homeowner, be able to do that - it’s my house after-all! Just my take - thanks again for the great product folks, keep up the good work!

- Glitchy

This app is glitchy. The same site says I’m both the owner and not the owner! It says I can’t edit the post because I’m not the owner and it also has a place that allows me to unclaim the home. It won’t allow me to edit my rental listing. Also the options are lacking. I’d like the option to customize the contract length to 9 months but only 6 mo and 1 yr are available. it would be nice if there was an option for the landlord to be flexible on lease length but these are required fields that can not be left blank. The Zillow rental manager app has different fields than the Zillow app. The Zillow app gives the landlord the option the spell out what the rent covers. The rental manager app does have this feature. That’s problematic because if you lower the price to get more interest but want to reduce what’s included in the rent you can not do this through the rental manager app because the Zillow app will remain as it was causing confusion.

- Not a big fan

I like that most homes are on the app, it’s clean and well designed. I do not like that the contact agent button does not link you with the seller but instead with a Zillow representative. Buyers are the primary users correct? Why wouldn’t this button connect you with the seller/agent. Whether they are Realtors or not at Zillow does not matter to me. I see no point in talking to someone online about a house they cannot do anything about. Sure they offered to help answer my questions, but when I clicked on the contact agent button it had a section for my question and I gladly inserted it. The person who called me did not seem to have a clue as to what that question was, or they would have told me that they could not help me. Instead, they kept texting me that they would like to talk. I told them three times “No, I do not need to talk to anyone from Zillow.” They texted me two more times after that.

- Much better than it was

I wrote a poor review of this app when I first downloaded it. It was glitchy, inaccurate, and unreliable. Since that review, there have been many updates and improvements. It still has a hard time recognizing some of the addresses I put in, but overall it's a much better app. It seems more stable and provides a much better representation of actual home values. Definitely worth getting! Update: I dropped my rating again because of how inaccurate it’s become again. Example - I typed in an address that was 105. The app brought up 108. If I tap on the lot it specified, it’s actually 205. Also, the neighborhood map estimates are way off. Looking at the map, the value will be one price. When you tap on the property, the value is completely different, sometimes as much as $20k! The app is still good if you’re looking specifically at houses for sale, but the “Zestimate” is way off.

- Zillow Offer is an investor scam

Requesting a cash offer through Zillow gets you a phone call with a very reasonable offer subject to a “perfunctory inspection.” The “inspection” is not really a property inspection but an excuse for a property investment company to gain access to take hundreds of pictures of your property. You will not be asked about property updates, AC or furnace age, roof condition, home repairs, mechanical or structural issues or concerns. The “inspection” pictures are used to provide investors marketing information. After the fake “inspection” the Zillow Offer people will call back to claim your house is barely habitable and they either can’t buy it, or based on “damage and repair costs,” are willing to pay $2.50 for it. The second you decline the $2.50 - your property profile and pictures are shipped to hundreds of investors who will call you day and night with lowball offers.

- Inaccurate and misleading information

Zillow is a source of inaccurate and misleading information about property values. Recent correspondence that I can share with interested parties states that estimates are based on a proprietary algorithm and do not include detailed information about micro-markets or specific houses. E.g., a house that sold 2 months ago and is two doors down from my property is not listed in the comps but houses of the same size that sold 3 years ago and are more than 5 miles away are included. This is false and misleading. Zillow has a monopoly on online rental sites and affects homeowners’ ability to rent their homes by undervaluing properties and misleading potential renters. Wonder how many home owners have been affected over the past few years.

- Simply The Best!

I have been using Zillow for a number of years now and they are simply the best! There are many great sites that you can go to if you were seeking to buy or to rent. Over the past 15 years I would say there's been a big improvement and being able to shop online for a home even if you live far away. What rises Zillow above all the other sites is there dedicated staff to make sure that you have every single thing possible that you would need to know about the property and the surrounding areas and everything that's important to you and your family when you purchase. I know that I can count on them to do the best they are able to do specially even including the market value in the area and give me fair calculations and give me all the information I could possibly want in order to purchase or to rent a home or an apartment. Their extra attention to detail and their guesstimates there Zillow guesstimates which I find to be very accurate for a white anybody could possibly determine it is easy to save your searches it's very easy to set up alerts which I recommend it's just the best that's it

- Better than others- feature rich and always improving

Being able to immediately see price reductions and old listing pics are two of the most useful features that sets Zillow apart from others. Wish Zillow was available in more markets (commercial and international). Some of the filters aren’t always correct but that’s more the fault of bad MLS data. For example, sometimes two-story properties are displayed when the single-story filter is applied. Also wish users could interact over properties- either leave comments, ratings, and be able to rank their favorite listings. I like the tag feature but not sure how it’s being used and how it benefits the user to tag. Zillow is one of the best tools for market research and home buying. I just love it.

- It gave me my home

We’ve closed on our 2nd home last Friday and guess how I found it. Both houses I found in Zillow . Both times perfectly matching my requirements and price point. I love the app and the houses listed here. My agents never helped me to find the houses. They were mostly scheduling tours and coordinating all the teams. I was hesitant to ask them to show me houses and being picky what I want-yes I was picky. So it was easier for me to tour the houses using the app lying on my bed and on my schedule. Due to that I didn’t have to do a lot of house tours. Both times I bought the 2nd houses I saw, 100s or thousands I checked in the app. All the info were correct In some houses due to incorrect address pin on the map the school district wasn’t good.

- Estimates a bit off

Hi, I enjoy looking at Zillow for a quick price comparison of houses in my neighborhood. However, I think Zillow could do better of estimating houses that have upgrades and the upgrades are listed in the description of the house by owner. Case and point, two houses same basic features one upgraded and the other is not can not be worth the same. Too many potential buyers get sticker shock when the same two houses have as much as $100k price difference between them. Why? A renovated kitchen costs as much as $25k, bathroom $10k, etc. That’s not a freebie baked into to avg price of a house lol That’s additional cost to get that house to that point. Until Zillow takes those factors into consideration prices are for entertainment purposes only and means absolutely nothing.

- 2- stars

Take this site with a grain of salt— best for when I was window shopping. I don’t recommend this for those wanting to take immediate action in buying a home. - Missing: Property tax estimate or customization Separate payment calculator for different property types HOA price info if any Property type accuracy (condo vs sfr vs townhome timeshare etc) Agents/contacts listed have zero follow through & relevance in my own home buying needs. The return calls I’ve experienced are not from anyone authorized to show the property, discuss details, loans or anything that could lead directly to a sale. - Requires irrelevant information that leads to solicitations that do not relate to my needs. Contact links require provision of phone & email. Calls I’ve received are non-actionable & have zero bearing on next steps of property details/viewing, loan shopping, etc. I recognize the possibility that some missing features are due to the individual posting party’s inaccuracy: - Completeness of these listings (which may not be Under Zillow control, but perhaps the listing agent), and - Comprehensiveness of the listings I can in fact view on here. I still need to xref with MLS & other sites for remaining listings not shown here. I also find myself contacting agents for basic site info that should already be posted or accessible via links provided.

- Redfin has a better estimate tool

Zillow’s algorithms can not distinguish between neighborhoods. The algorithm uses a broad area, and in my case, surrounding towns with much lower desirability, REDFIN gives a the correct estimate at 690k. Zillow is at 615k which just went down 20k. Zillow should bring more data into their algorithm and give the site more credibility. It appears Zillow uses like homes that sold, not understanding the importance of location in the real estate market. REDFIN does this exceptionally well, 4 homes within 50 yards of me sold for a million dollars, not one is in my Zillow comparable, instead Zillow is using homes in another town as a comparable. Zillow zestinate cannot be used as a realistic tool in the real estate industry

- Zillow only cares about the money they can take.

From a real estate agent stand point. They take money and don’t give you any credible leads. From a homeowners stand they screw us over with their “zestimate” which has now bearing on any actual comps of the area. It’s just a average on one big area. They should not be allowed to suggest price since they themselves have not actually appraised the house. Giving potential buyers a predetermined sense of what they think the house is worth. Their customer service is devoid of any real help. They have listed peoples property that were not selling, and made the property owners have to fix it. Rather then do their job to make sure it should be listed in the first place. The is the biggest problem in this country is that these big business’s can run amuck doing what ever they want stealing money and screwing with peoples lives. All so that the heads of these companies live lavish lifestyles of othe peoples hard earned money. Down with Zillow!!!!!!!

- Great....but sometimes inaccurate

I like Zillow. I am retired....but my wife still works, so once she retires, we will move out of western Massachusetts, to somewhere closer to the New England coast. So, most of my searches for our retirement location is focused near the coast from Rhode Island north to Maine. I have found many, many properties that answer to our criteria, but all too often, the location on a map or address doesn’t match the actual listing.....with the location on the map to be in wetlands or out in the water! I have also found all too often, the listed price is incorrect. Caveat emptor.....due diligence....and all that, but it seems at time that quality control is lacking. Other than accuracy problems, Zillow is a good “starting point” when looking at properties.

- Great App!

I Really like Zillow.. I Have both Apps for looking at houses, because We’re currently looking to purchase a house soon. I Would like to take the time though to add a review about Zillow though. So far since I’ve been using both Apps, I have noticed that I really like Zillow much better than the other App, but, however to make Zillow better it needs to be updated way more often! It should always say if the House is available or not. The Other App, With the same houses, Is more accurate about a house being sold or not sold or pending. If Zillow would update the availability on the houses more they have a even better App! I do love Zillow though! And, like both Apps.

- Customer Service???

I really want to love Zillow but it has so many glitches!!! Customer Service is non-existent so I don’t understand why they even have a choice to contact “Customer Service”. I’ve had Zillow for years and I realize that I have a queue of unanswered questions in my “chat box”, the messaging system that opens up when you select the customer service option. I think now that maybe the glitch is (for that at least) that maybe it was meant for feedback versus actual support. IDK, but it’s really annoying to contact them and get no reply...EVER. I think that’s why I forget that it does nothing, it’s so long in between me contacting them and I find a work around in the meanwhile. Other than that, like I said useful app but has glitches and flow issues. Starting to take longer to load as well.

- Cool but email SPAM from hell

Nice app to see houses. Terrible email clutter without the ability to really turn off what notifications I’d like to avoid or receive. I have one place listed in my search and I get about 25 emails a day from price changes or realtors trying to do tricky things with the app like resetting it to a new listing when in fact it’s not. All of these things are emailed to every person and it gets really annoying. I’d love to be able to have the ability to only have favorite homes saved and get information on just those or new homes that are actually new and not something that a realtor is trying to be sneaky about. Funny enough- realtors who do these things are immediately knocked off my list of maybes for the future for listing a home of mine or even taking a chance to go see a home.

- Buggy and bothersome

This app gets buggier every time it updates. If I we’re the product manager for this app (and I am a product manager), I’d stop everything the team was doing and make them focus on the basic functionality this app is supposed to deliver. The major issues I run into every day as a home buyer: 1. My saved searches keep getting wiped. If I’m looking for a house in a specific area or set of areas, it makes it super annoying to reset that same dream boundary all the time. I do t even bother anymore. 2. Half the time, list view on “Updates” and “Saves” on render 2.5 rows and is unscrollable. I have to uninstall and reinstall to get that working again. 3. None of the priority filters on Updates work. If I change from “Recently Updated” to “Newest”, it’s a 1/4 shot that it’ll actually work. Most of the the UI gets stuck and I have to force quit and reset my filters so that I can see what’s latest on the market. To me, these are basic functions that anyone in a competitive market needs. If I can’t spot the inventory coming up in the areas I want to live in in my city, I’m at a disadvantage and someone else gets it. I’ve complained to support as well and got a wishy washy “we’re working on it”. That was two months ago. It really shouldn’t be that hard, Zillow team.

- Needs some changes

I like this app, but I dislike how the option to delete/hide/remove a home from your search list is gone. I also wish you were able to do a search but remove certain towns or areas from it, without having to draw on the map itself. There are some areas I would like to avoid because they aren’t the safest, and it would be nice to just uncheck them from a list. For example, if I’m searching a specific county, if all the towns were to populate as a subfilter, and I could just “uncheck” the boxes so homes from those towns are hidden. I suppose another suggestion I’d like to see, is being able to filter out foreclosures and auctions. Other then that, the app is very useful and gets the job done! I just think some minor changes would make it that much better.

- Can’t open rental applications/background checks

I use Zillow to list my homes for rent. I have been very successful with that, both in my business rentals and my personal home to receive contact information and “leads”. Over the past 15 years, I have used the same old rental application that can be purchased at Staples and have done my own follow up on the information provided. This week I asked a potential tenant to complete the Zillow application and submit it online. They paid Zillow for their application fee/background check/credit history and I cannot open any of them. I’ve sent several help desk requests to Zillow and have heard nothing back from them. I explained the situation to the customer and she was kind enough to fill out my old school application so I can do the work on my own. I’m disappointed with the app, and the follow up from Zillow.

- Bad price algorithms

The price on our home fluctuates wildly, often to million-dollar territory when there is nothing close to that in the area. it then picks comparable to chose from based on that incorrect valuation, creating an out-of control spin, instead of letting us choose nearby comparable for sale and recently sold (there’s plenty!) other home of friends and family are often way undervalued or way overvalued. not by thousands, but by several hundreds of thousands. almost always in the wrong way: Those for sale that want the greatest valuation are very often undervalued. and those not for sake that want the lowest possible valuation due to rising property taxes see their home value pegged at more than TWICE the reasonable value if the house! (As is our case.) At some point in the past this was a great app to see fairly accurate home prices. Not sure what they did to their algorithms, but now it absolutely CANNOT be trusted. Kind of sad...

- Good but needs updates

I only use Zillow for home searching and it has nice features BUT one feature that needs to be added is the ability to filter out homes that are closing/funding under possession, which means a buyer is in the process of closing. 60% of the homes that come up in my searches are listed as closing/funding, so it’s a real pain to constantly be scrolling down to find this hidden but extremely important piece of information. It literally strains my eyes constantly looking for this. Please update this as a filter option! I understand that some homes being closed on end up back on the market, but most actually do close. This is a waste of time for me having to weed out the already closing ones and this takes away from my excitement in finding a home I love, only to find out it’s not really available. Please update this, please!!!

- Not Accurate Statuses

The Zillow app is easy to navigate and read, however, they do not update the status of homes quickly at all. There have been at least 8 homes my husband and I have scheduled to view because they say “For Sale” and then when our relator calls the seller, she finds out that they are in contract or have offers. Zillow doesn’t update this quick at all and it has caused lots of frustration on our end, especially in this housing market-homes are selling very quickly and if Zillow can’t update the status of the home accurately then I’m wasting my time house hunting with Zillow because I’m viewing homes that say “For Sale” but are actually in contract. Maybe I have my info wrong and it is on the seller to notify Zillow of the update, but either way we are switching to a different platform to find a home because of this.

- “New” listings aren’t new

I love how easy and useful this app is. But there are a couple of issues that make me have to re-examine the same listings over and over. The main one is that I keep getting new listing notifications for things that I have seen. I know that if an open house is scheduled, or there is a price change, that it should flag that listing as “new”. But often I get this new listing multiple times in the same week when nothing important has changed. I also would like to have the ability to suppress a given listing is I know that place is not something I’m interested in, no matter what happens. I love the app, but having to review the same things over and over when nothing is really new makes it tedious to use the app.

- Applications for the Marketplace

I’m merely getting started in today’s world of innovation; just tapping in to the iOS technology and highlighting some of the work and research done in today’s real estate market. I am really especially taken by this development in application design for the user especially for inexperienced folks like me who are just getting started in improvement for certain areas of the market in real estate that are unknown to the real estate market. This particular app is an educational tool and can be used for a variety of uses not just in web support but, As a functional tool in application design for the marketing of the development of the market place in which it was designed. Nice!

- Sedar Hisary

Sedar is an amazing agent with years of experience and gives you the personalized service that is second to none . She was honest and professional but gave the kind of service that made you feel like family . I would highly recommend. Her for anyone even considering the purchase or sale of their home . I was just thinking about selling my house and she spent the time with me to discuss timing and gave me excellent advise on how to proceed . There were 100 people at my one and only open house and my home had 12 offers it was in contract by the end of the week - closed in 30 days and now I am moving into the home of my dreams . I cannot say enough about her . She is a Gem ! Lisa

- Zillow availability

Always a little allows you to edit a list that you’re searching for is very helpful, but it could reach a greater audience if it also included the housing that’s listed on ERA Decker and other real estate agent sites. Often I will find that some of them are listed but not all of them. Erie Decker for example updates their website every few hours. I understand that Zillow holds a great amount of housing and updating would probably be challenging, but it would be beneficial to people who are actively looking for housing. My husband and I will drive around and see houses that have signs for sale, but are not listed on Zillow until I type in the address. I feel this is something that could be improved upon. Thank you for the opportunity to communicate my input. Have a great weekend!

- App freezes AGAIN AND AGAIN!

I am SO frustrated with this app. It used to work pretty well, then for a period of several months (and over many updates), it would freeze on launch, particularly if you were initiating it from a Zillow-generated email that contained matches. Killing the app and restarting it usually got it going. Recently an update to the system seemingly fixed the crash-on-startup bug, but now the app locks up in mid-use (often displaying “Loading” on the screen), and it happens over and over again, making it extraordinarily frustrating to try to view listings. I’ve got the latest generation iPad Pro 12.9” running the most current non-beta iOS, so you can’t blame these problems on outdated hardware or OS. Zillow executives... please find some new developers and get this straightened out. It’s really incredible that you haven’t been able to deliver a stable product for at least 6 months now.

- Great app, missing one key feature

Great app to use for home shopping. Living in a major metro area, I love all the added features, especially the one that shows commute times. I think what would make this app better would be to broaden search terms (like maximum commute time) and have a dislike feature as well. It’s great being able to like houses but when you pull up you’re search and there can still be so much clutter it’s harder to stay organized so having a dislike or delete feature would make this app much more user friendly in my opinion. With so many options and being first time home buyers, we know of what we don’t want vs what we do.

- Not Reliable

I noticed I was not receiving updates on my cabin listed for sale - by the Realtor - on Zillow and to my dismay It was listed as Off Market! So, for two weeks, the last update to my email on views and saves was 5/18 and today is 6/13, anyone who saw the listing via an address search thought it was no longer for sale! This was during the two weeks of the Memorial Day Holiday! I had a yard sale at the cabin that day and had several interested who were going to Zillow to look more when they returned to their camping spot, hotel or home. How many possible buyers did I miss because of Zillow’s negligence? In this market probably quite a few. Sadly my realtor did not catch that Absolutely No Inquiries over the holiday was significant. And in my own house hunting experience, many homes Zillow says are available are not upon inquiry. The app is not updated well and does not give accurate current info. Beware.

- Seriously a great app. %100 recommend for anyone that wants to buy, sell.

Seriously a great app. %100 recommend for anyone that wants to buy, sell, or just be curious how much your neighbors house is worth. I truly believe I wouldn’t have bought the house I am living in now. I was a first time but, I have rented before checking out this app. The app gave me the info and confidence to start looking for a house, which can be overwhelming for anyone, special a first time buyer. This app is amazing. I truly love it still. You can go on the app and see if your house has change in “Zillow estimate value” which actually was spot on when I had my house appraise. I can say enough good things about this app.

- Zillow App

This app is great. I was able to sell my home and find another home all within the Zillow app. It gives you all the information you can possibly need or want on a property. The pictures are really good also. You can get an idea of what the house looks like before you go there. Some of the pictures are shot by Realtors to make the property look a little bigger than what it is. But that's not Zillow's fault. The Realtors do that themselves. But the good thing is you can view hundreds possibly thousands of homes from the comfort of your living room. Then you can visit the homes you are interested in. Excellent app! Keep up the good work Zillow!!!

- Faulty reports and zestimates

This app by Zillow as well as their website should not be published and more even used at all. The Viewing and Saves numbers (visible to owners/sellers) are faulty and misleading. The total number of Saves from the app is different from the website. The past two days chart does not match the detailed chart most often than not. And for more than a day now, the number of views and saves are both zero for my home and similar homes nearby. Worst is their Zestimate. A home a few feet away and has ‘dated’ interiors and less bedroom has way higher Zestimate than another home for sale with more bedrooms and updated interiors. The Zestimate kept fluctuating in matter of hours. The faulty and buggy Zestimates are misleading interested buyers and detrimental to the sellers whose homes are Zestimated way lower than market price and appraisal reports. Redfin is a better app or website based on near-to-market estimates and reliability.

- Absolutely horrible attorney

I agree with the other negative reviewers -Avi doesn’t return calls or want to talk to you. If I could give less than 1 star I would. He’s unethical and does not protect you. He’s pompous, arrogant, and dismissive. I had an issue at closing and he should have alerted me and discussed before signing on my behave. Instead he went forward with a closing without my consent. I did not need to close and he could have delayed the closing which would have allowed me to get my property out of my home. Instead I lost my property. He tried to say my property wasn’t part of the P&S-which the buyer made it part of it- not me . Again he doesn’t protect you! He gave me a whole lot of stress and he’s argumentative. Forget it if you use him with someone else-he takes sides. Awful Awful attorney I hope you read the reviews because i’m not the only negative one. Shame on me for trusting him and not reading the reviews.

- Use Only because of the listings!

Worse UI I’ve EVER EVER EVER used. Do any of the product managers use this app? Simple and obvious functions needed in the typical journey are either hidden or non-existent. Today I was looking at a home and a map of where it was located. Wouldn’t you think they would use the same UI and ability of Apple Maps to switch to satellite view? Don’t you think a buyer would want to see the surrounding area before wasting any more time? While app provides for that in other views (there are by the way FAR FAR FAR to many of those) they don’t when you initially view a property. I could go on and on but it’s been this way for years. Terrible application design, haphazard UI, thrown together by product managers and UI designers that don’t seem to have never bought a house. Then again, if they’re in the Bay Area, that’s likely true!

- Zillow

Zillow, I love this app but I might have a few tips. Something I do not like about this app is the updates, I was looking at houses in my town today and we called a realtor of a house we liked. She said that this house was sold and four other families were looking to buy this house. But on this app Zillow it still said this house was for sale and it said nothing about it being sold or under contract! I also take the negative side of the search ability. When I search up my town some houses from other towns come up and I do not like that. Last thing, I think this app should say when houses are open. So we can get a look from the inside! But apart from that this app is great and I think that other people should totally use this app if they are looking for a new home!!😉😉

- Great App

I really love this app! I feel as though it’s pretty accurate in the pricing and what’s actually available and on the market. My husband and I are looking for a house now and we are basically looking at the same information that our realtor gets. However, I would like to say that it’s hard to keep track of the open houses that are going on. I think Zillow should have a calendar that shows you when all the open houses are, in addition to sending you emails about the open houses happening during whichever week. I feel like it’s an extra step that would really help me in planning my day better. Lord knows the weekends go by so fast!

- Great for Browsing, But...

Zillow provides crisper images and more options for mapping homes and finding out more in-depth information about houses for sale. This is great for the window-shopper and even for those that are involved in more serious searches. For the more serious shopper, however, there are a couple drawbacks that keep us using other apps and search engines to better supplement our searches. Zillow isn’t always 100% accurate and doesn’t provide more detailed information regarding short sales, foreclosures, and other bank-owned sales (or the anticipation of those thereof). Those pieces of information would definitely help out people like us, whom are seriously looking for their new homes.

- Excellent real estate app

I browse this all the time to keep of with real estate values and interior trends. It shows both For Sale, Foreclosure and Rentals in your area, as well as sold in the last year and all off market w/ street view if possible. Very easy to deal with if your home is claimed and there is something wrong on it. I found my $132,000 mid-modern fixer upper on Zillow in 2013 and it locally appraised at almost triple that. Great and useful app. I recommend you make an account and claim your property. I have never gotten spammed with unwanted stuff from them. Agents have actually told me I have a better knowledge of the area than they do and all by following Zillow. I recommend it.

- Great App! I just wish I could select the correct amount of baths.

I love using my Zillow app! It’s easy to use and has all the information that I’m interested in when home shopping. I have only one suggestion. I wish I could select 2 1/2 baths when I am tailoring my results. For what we are searching for I have to sift through so many results and pay close attention to find 2 1/2 bath (and I am so easily distracted by the photos!). We aren’t terribly particular in what we are looking for but that is the one thing of very few things I am firm on. I can use the website to find what I’m looking for but I much prefer the app and wish it had that same capability.

- Fix the App!

This app used to work great, now shows that homes are (for sale) when they are either (pending, contingent or even worse already SOLD). How does a real estate app like this make this many mistakes and still be usable?!? Isn’t the whole premise of the app to provide potential buyers or sellers with accurate real estate market information? Well the app does nothing of the sort anymore. Also shows that homes sold for UNREALISTIC prices, that Zillow has no intention of actually verifying if it’s accurate or not after I’ve contacted customer service before in the past multiple times and still continue to show numerous errors. Do yourself a favor and try another app if you want reliable and accurate information about the real estate market in your area. This app will soon be nonexistent in the future if this is the quality of product that Zillow is satisfied with.

- Good starting point

Generally a good starting point. Keep in mind that the information is only as good as that which is provided and that which is entered. One house we looked at (a 3 hour drive from the home we were selling) was listed as having a loft. Other than the outside of the house, there were no pictures of the interior. When we got to the house, there was no loft. In addition, the “3rd bedroom” had no closet; my understanding is that a room can’t be listed as a bedroom if there is no closet. This was the listing agents error. On the house we were selling, the annual tax amount was low by over $2,000. Apparently the listing agent has no control what is listed for annual taxes.
