Horrible now with street view replacement. I previously liked this app but when I can no longer use the area view from above to see all sides of the house and the back yard, you made my job harder to find properties in another state. The street view is horrible, slow, and if the house property has an alley, you might see a little of the back, and sometimes you can't. What once took 20 secs now takes minutes to slowly navigate and many times I can't even see the side and back of a house. Please bring back the mapping view where I can use my iPhone to drill in, out and flip to the side views and back yard. This is how I narrowed down options plus it helped to zoom out to evaluate the neighborhood. The upgrade also lost some property lines on that view (iOS 10.3.3). This is also important to me. I want a list of 5 homes to look when I go to my hometown and you made that impossible. I will need to drive to them. People are losing opportunities and your value decrease A GREAT DEAL because of these changes. Please bring the satellite area view back rather than the clunky slow street one. Thank you.

Review. This app has been frustrating at times. The house will be down the street, two miles away, or even all the way across the county from where the map shows it. When it is correct it is awesome! I love to see the inside views and the asking price while on location without having to call anyone. I HOPE they will continue to challenge themselves to IMPROVE this app. Plus! When you are totally not interested in a property, it would be great to be able to delete it from "My List". Just an added wish from a daily user. A MAJOR FLAW is the standard algorithmic equation for determining a homes value. WARNING! If you update an older home and do an extensive renovation, Zillow will not push against their own algorithm to make it reflect the work you have completed. Warning! If you do extensive and costly renovations, you will be dealing with a MUCH lower valuation from Zillow for the property as it existed prior to the extensive renovation. You can state all the renovations and changes that you made BUT! Your new potential buyers will constantly use the old Zillow price against you for negations. It is exhausting! You also get low bids constantly from others after you renovate looking to scalp your post renovation property for nothing due to this flaw in Zillow. This is an easy fix but Zillow doesn’t care. They make excuses and state it is the best they can do. Accuracy is the key.....

Incorrect Information Causing Safety Issues. Zillow’s failure to update the information they have published regarding our home in a timely manner has created a safety and privacy issue for us and our young children. Evidently, at one time, the previous owner of our home was in pre-foreclosure. Zillow still lists the property as being in pre-foreclosure. We have had multiple unwanted and uninvited guests driving through our private driveway for seemingly no reason. At first we wondered how it was possible that so many people got so lost that they drove down our dead end road and had to turn around in our driveway. Then, this morning one of them told us Zillow has our home listed as pre-foreclosure and they were here to see it. This is a potentially hazardous situation because we live at the end of a dead-end road, our circle drive is a part of the yard in which our children play, and we are definitely not expecting this level of traffic driving through what is essentially our children’s playground. I have repeatedly attempted to contact Zillow regarding this situation to no avail. The phone number they have listed for customer care directs you to leave a message no matter which options you choose. You do not get to speak to an actual person to have your issue addressed. I have use their system to report the inaccurate information, also to no avail. Clearly Zillow could not care less how their inaccuracies effect the individual homeowner.

Buying and selling. I have used Zillow to find homes and have found it very useful and friendly. I have also “claimed” my home and have recently listed it. I love the fact that I can see views and saves, however, I have to keep in mind it seems to count my looks as well. Second, all the information about my home from my realtor’s listing did not come over correctly and I have had to go in and fix some- others I couldn’t fix. Thirdly, when it compares your home to “similar listings” it uses an algorithm that is not well written. For example, there is a house for sale about two doors down that is “comparable” but zillow compares my listing to one $100,000 less one week in a different area and then suddenly switches to one $100,000 more in another area and doesn’t ever compare the one around the corner. This makes the comparison data useless to me. Other than that- I am hooked. I am hoping that my home will sell, I will finalize my contract on the new one, and I won’t need to use this app ever again very soon!

Great app, but wish saved properties were easier to view. I love using the Zillow app and find it to be very helpful and intuitive in most cases. My one complaint, however, is the way that saved properties are organized and viewed. It is not easy to view saved homes based on location or on date added to favorites. For example, I am looking at homes in a few different states, but when I go into my saved homes tab, it shows me everything I have saved. When I zoom in or select a home in a particular state, I can view its details, but when I go back, it zooms back out to show me the entire country. I wish that I could filter the viewing of my saved homes by area or at least by the date that I added them to the favorites list. There is a sort by “newest” option, but this appears to show me the most recently built homes rather than the most recently added homes to the list. This change would make the app 5 stars for me!

No better than Realtor after update. I use to love this app and preferred it over Realtor because you had the option of the street view which allowed you to see the spacing between houses better and could get different angles of the front of the house. And I’m guessing that since there is no longer street view available is why a lot of the homes no longer have pictures of the front of the house; just the satellite view and mapping. The front of the house is a very important selling point, why the update got rid of option is mind boggling to me. Using Realtor more now because I need to see the curb appeal. Thanks for ruining the app 😡 Edited review: First let me say thank you for bringing back the street view, that feature is very helpful. But now I’m disappointed again because after the last update we are no longer able to select homes nearby to compare. When using the satellite view with lot lines selected, you can’t open to view any houses close by. The area off screen when you scroll over to it has that capability for a split second (disappears almost immediately after scrolling over). This app use to be awesome but now it seems we can’t have all its capabilities working at the same time. Please get this app working properly again. I’m finding Redfin a better option right now and it has major glitches. Do better please!

Zestimates Are Helpful .....most of the time!. We use Zillow often and found 2 homes we’ve purchased after finding them on their site first because we don’t buy real estate directly through realtors anymore. Earlier this year something squirrely did happen with the Zillow Zestimates which had 3 of our properties estimated at 50 and 60 thousand dollars below their actual values. After several months the zestimates did climb back up to actual market rates but we were glad we weren’t selling any of our properties at that time because despite Zillow’s warnings, people do strongly depend on zestimate values while home shopping. Zillow states we shouldn’t base our buying or selling decisions on Zestimates as they are only estimates but they’ve been so successful at branding the term and successfully estimating values that buyers and sellers will bank on the zestimate number. Also, a little slow on recording final home sale amounts, other realty sites record them faster. That aside, Zillow only gets better and better and other sites still don’t compare.

They stole my money!. I applied for a house and they didn’t even do a full application they denied me less the a house after applying, yet never contacted my boss at work my apartments to verify rental history. Yet I paid for a full application! Yet the flash checked my credit (I have great credit) so I was furious about putting a mark on my credit and they didn’t even do a full application! Then I call and the blamed my denial on same “rental score” ONLY ZILLOW DOES! I called multiple realtors and they all said they NEVER heard of that type of “rental score” and that’s definitely Zillow scamming people because that’s not what actual rentals base approvals or denials on! Not to mention the lady who helped me on WHO WORKS FOR ZILLOW couldn’t even tell me when that score meant! She kept interpreting every time I asked what that score was! I told her to give me a definition of the score and she said “idk” I told her to give me her manager who could explain and she REFUSED to give the manger or tell me what that score meant! They stole from me and there was no way they did a full application because I applied on a Sunday night and was denied by 3 am!!! How’s that even possible that someone looked at it and got a hold of every one on my end? That’s right they didn’t! DONT EVER ISE THIS SITE! I’m out $100 because of this scam!

My Favorite App!. We’ve been looking for a different home for about a year. I used virtually every real estate app and website applicable to my local area in central Texas during that time. I kept coming back to Zillow even after our realtor suggested that we stop using it. I found that the iPad version was simply the easiest and best way to efficiently and effortlessly search for our “forever” home. In the end we found our house on Zillow. We went to an open house a few hours after I found it only to find it had already been sold. Two weeks later I got a notification from Zillow that it was back on the market. I messaged our realtor and we made an offer that was eventually accepted. I doubt it would have happened without Zillow. It never showed up on other sites including the MLS search site that our Realtor was pushing. By the time we bought the house I felt more informed about local real estate than most realtors. Five stars.

Saved homes sort and filter not working. I couldn’t find a place to submit feedback or ask for support specifically for the app unfortunately so I came here hoping the developer will see it. The app for the most part is decent and does what it aims to do, which isn’t very complicated. The one thing I’m frustrated with lately is that the “newest’ and “recent change” sort on my list of saved homes is not working in the iPad or iPhone app. I compared it to what I see on the Zillow website. The website is accurate- my saved homes shows me the homes I’ve saved recently in order from most recent to oldest. In the app, the homes listed under my saved list populate in a order that makes so sense. I am home shopping and have saved many listings over the years, but many more recently. I have a very hard time finding the ones I save in the last few days because my saved list shows random houses I saved years ago instead of my newest listings. Please fix this. Having a saved feature isn’t very useful if I can’t easily sort my saved listings and find the ones i need to look at.

The Barrentine Group. First, let me say, you can't go wrong with The Barrentine Group. Professional, courteous and empathetic. No bait and switch with this reality company. My real estate agent, Anakatrina Waltz (AK), first started our journey off with a face to face or Zoom consultation. She went over everything that would take place, down to the most minute detail. She also discussed variables, assurances, protections and contingencies you have in place as a buyer. Being a first time homeowner, comes with some fears and anxieties. After the initial consultation was over, I felt at ease and that she would fight tooth and nail for me, AND SHE DID!!! AK walked the journey with me, always reigning me back in when my eyes got bigger than my budget. She has a background in property management so she can spot a quick flip, cheaply done property. Often, when you get down process of making an offer, expediency is the weapon of choice. Not only are you making offers to the seller but your also in competition with other buyers. AK had offer and counteroffer documents in my email so fast, it's was astounding. We were never late to the party. The process went down just like she explained in the consultation. I'm not going to mislead you. Not all home buying process's go as smoothly as mine did, but I can tell you one thing, if I were in a jam, I wouldn't want anyone in my corner except The Barrentine Group

Major issues-but has potential. This app looks great and has great potential but boy oh boy does it have problems. 1. The information is outdated, (not always but most times...when I show my realtor the house that fits what my wife and I are looking for it is normally already under contract/pending unless it’s just posted on the market. 2. They send out email notifications and you tap on the link....the app just crashes and pops you out to your home screen EVERY TIME! *you have to memorize the address and then open the app the regular way and search that address* what a waste of sending the link in the first place....other apps don’t do this! 3. Text notifications option would be nice with links that work....Notifications only come in email form. Idk about you but I get enough junk email everyday so the notifications sometimes get lost in all the emails I get In a day. 4. When drawing a line In the area you want to search...there is no way to zoom in or out without having to completely erase your line. There needs to be some way you can pause your outline and pinch in or zoom out to make sure the line you’re drawing is exactly where you want it to be.

Take a look DONT get your hopes up. I notice that on both my iPhone and iPad the Zillow app will occasionally say no internet connection even when I have one and can use it on other apps flawlessly. Even weirder it happens at the same time on both so if it goes down on one device and I switch it happens on the other one too....so I give up and start looking into other apps and websites. There are no settings for internet connections or reboot or resetting the app. But there are way too many options for notifications lol. That’s a little funny. Anyway hope an update in the future I’d the s quick fix but u have spent more time elsewhere losing more and more respect for the app especially when I found out huge inaccurate the sight Is. It’s a good first step for window shopping houses from a distant and getting address and local school info to investigate. So that’s a plus. BUT PLEASE keep in mind the only reason I’m writing this to customer support as well as my review is due to frustration from the continuous problem above.

Misinformation. I have had my condo on here with the wrong info. First time I had it corrected they ended up deleting all my comments for my unit all my descriptions were gone. Then it got fixed fir a small period of time after I rewrote all my descriptions again and then all the sudden my zestimate changed to about 20k lower and my neighbor who has a similar unit only 80 sf smaller had their condo zestimate 20k higher. I’ve been trying to fix that fir awhile now. Then the walkability score I thought was low as I park my car on weekends and walk to dinner, the bars, the grocery, the shops, my errands, entertainment, cleaners, pubs, eateries. The schools are walking distance also but I have no kids so that’s not important to me. When I click the walkability link it brings up another page with someone rises address on it. It sure isn’t mine. So I asked that to be corrected again today. If your going list my Prperty just list it correctly. I really don’t want to email you a few times to get it corrected over and over. Please just correct as I provided proof of this and have yet to see any response or change in my listing. It’s a shame as Zillow was my favorite listing app for years now I’m starting to get disenchanted with them. Sorry but I’m tired of asking for my information to be updated and correct otherwise why have my property listed on their site.

Riskin Partners. We cannot say enough good things about our dealings with the Riskin Team. Talk about professionalism, which was evident in every aspect of our process looking for a home. Four wonderful agents, catering to us, helping us find our perfect home was only a beginning. I am very fussy and it didn’t bother them in the least, or if it did they didn’t show it. Then the process of making an offer, counters etc, securing the deal for us. Their real work went on from that to helping us navigate through the entire experience, listing for us our obligations, the responsibilities of the owner, the list of people to call re: address changes, the list goes on and on. And on top of that they are all four very fun people, Dina, Robert, Sarah and Jasmine who are good friends, share responsibilities so that someone is always available to help when help is needed. Thank you Team Riskin.

Good place to view value of homes. I enjoy seeing Zillow’s Zestiment on homes where I have an interest, either now own or and interest in buying. However, it often is inaccurate on properties I own or know about. On Zillow I have limited ability to change the estimate and the change is just for my viewing when it comes to comparable homes and therefore public zestimate. For example one home zestimate is $40k less than the house next door but I can’t use it to calculate estimate. The homes are very similar. Another home is historic but the zestimate compares it to homes listed or recently sold, often with less quality, instead of comparing it to other historic homes, where materials used in construction are of superior quality. Historic homes don’t often come on the market in my area so Zillow would need to expand the search area and/or use the zestimate of historic homes of similar quality not listed or sold recently. Bottom line the zestimate can’t be depended on for real value; but I still enjoy keeping up with homes and their estimated values. I would love for Zillow to add commercial properties to their inventory.

Love Zillow....hate the app. I LOVE Zillow and all the options they offer when looking for a please to call home, whether it’s temporary or permanent. But I only have a good experience when on my laptop. I got the app on my phone thinking if I’m bored, I could just pull up the app and search through houses in my specific filter. This is not the case, well for my app at least. I create a filter (2 bedroom, any bathroom, home type: house, and the rest is any) and it’s shows I have 16 options! Awesome! So I start looking and click on one house, look through pictures then go back to check out another. But it changes. Now I only have 4 options? I’m confused but I still click on another house, I look through the picture there and then when I go back again to look at the other ones, there are NO RESULTS. I don’t understand how this is happening and I feel like everything I get on the app it glitches out. Sometimes it finds houses and the next minute, there’s none. I really wish it didn’t do this because I love looking at house!! Zillow is amazing but I personally have app trouble!

Great app for finding listings one giant problem. So zillow charges a fee of 29 dollars for a one time hard credit check, what they don’t tell you is even once you apply for this credit check people who still list apartments or homes on here (charge there own fee for a credit check) and it’s non refundable. On top of that almost every listed household or apartment facility has a third party application process where there’s literally absolutely no point in paying for the so called hard “credit check” or going through the. Ollie application process, I spent a few times paying for the credit check and got absolutely no where no one on this app wanted my accounts credit check they wanted there own, which I find extremely sketchy. My family and I and still haven’t found anything because no body takes down there listings so it makes it hard to find anything its time consuming process because no one reaches out to us at all, I wouldn’t suggest to waste your money here just look at the listings and call either the apartment facilities or the realtors there’s no point in spending your hard earned money here to me this is a loophole scam.

Stop including 55+ communities in searches. Make it apparent the home is in a 55+ community. The homes are very appealing and to get excited and then find out my age disqualifies me from being able to purchase it is a constant disappointment. It’s insulting, which honestly fits right in with the discrimination the 55+ community oozes out into the neighboring communities, where you can be any age as long as your money is green. Not only can you not purchase the homes there if you’re under 55, you can’t use any of their walking trails or parks, or even dog waste bags. These shouldn’t be included in normal searches. I have to check boxes for things I’m looking for. Why can 55+ be a box for the people to check that want and are able to buy one of those homes. It wastes a lot of my time when I’m looking for real estate. Not everyone is familiar with the models, so saying a Meridian plan is available means nothing to novice searchers. Then you also include the school ratings in those listings which further confuses things. You can’t have children living in any of those homes so why do the school grades matter in those listings? It’s misleading, time wasting and frustrating. Everyone is so concerned with discrimination but it seems like this ageism type of discrimination goes under the radar. You’re wasting people’s time with these listings.

Like looking at available homes but info is not reliable. Spent HOURS on the site, read all the home listing / price drop / misc emails they send me. Now b/c my husband is a real estate attorney I am not allowed to complete the survey they emailed me? Wow. Not wanting to hear from someone with access the true market? Well, here you go: 1) Zestimate feature is not considered reliable in the industry. 2) Neither is the monthly mortgage payment. 3). Search function is not always helpful. There have been times when I’ve tried to search for a home by the address or street and found no results when Zillow is sending me emails on the exact home that I’m not finding via their search function. 4) Why are homes on the site with no photo’s? If not available on day 1 or 2 that’s acceptable but to never put them up? 4) Schools should be correct - not an estimate. Parents want this information to be correct, not an educated guess. 5) And lastly, home availability is deceiving. Many homes show up as “for sale” until you click to view the photo’s and it changes to “pending”, “sold” or “off market”. Come on Zillow, get your information correct and respect your users time. I have no interest in wasting time looking at homes that I’m not able to buy.

Buggy Notifications and App. Overall, it's a decent app but the notifications are awful. They are NEVER accurate. This morning, I had the notification badge tell me there were 10 properties new or updated. I go into my saved searches and three searches had listed a total of 10 notifications. I clicked on one that showed 7 and there were actually 2. One new listing and one update. This is consistent behavior for the app and it's extremely annoying when you're house hunting. I should be able to determine what triggers a notification. I get notified when there is “a promotion” for new construction. Well a particular builder keeps promoting their properties, line at least once a week. I don’t need notifications for an open house. I only want to see notifications for new listings. If I have Saved Homes turned on, sure, price changes, an open house or anything special for a saved home but when the regular search includes a few hundred homes, I don’t want to be alerted for a $1,000 price drop of a home I have little to no interest in. Finally, the app has been buggy lately. I can scroll through results but I can’t click on or view a property. I have to restart the app often.

Not to sound over-“zillous”. Hello (or should I say “Zellow”) to the makers of Zillow, Let me start by saying great work. This is a great app that helps me efficiently keep up to date with the properties as they come on the market. HOWEVER, I think you should take it a step FURTHER. IMaGinE a world in which your zillow app also contained a calendar that kept track of all your up coming showings, open houses, etc. Currently, I use zillow to contact the landlord, who then contacts me and makes an appointment with me. I put that in my phone calendar, suddenly the day comes and I have forgotten what house I am even going to look at. I am then FORCED to transfer between my calendar app to the zillow app to look up the address and refresh my mind as to what house it is. THEN need to plug that address into my Google Maps app. Do you see how long this takes me? Meanwhile, I am baking in my hot black ford focus, waiting to even leave the driveway. Hey, I am not saying I am a professional in this business, though I have seen every episode of the Netflix Original Selling Sunset in which they sell the most luxurious properties in the country...so maybe I do know a thing or two...

My Zillow agent. I was assigned Lisa DiNoto through this app. I had already decided to go with an agent I previously met at an open house I had stumbled upon, but had not actually used that agent to show me any homes. I decided to request information on a home I found on Zillow. That’s when I met with Lisa. I had no intention of using her other than to see that particular home. But as we viewed the home, I found her to be very helpful and she immediately took me to see a few more in the area. In the back of my mind, I still had no intention of continuing to work with her after we were done that day. As we viewed the last home, she had completely changed my mind. I realized that she was extremely knowledgeable in the areas I was looking and I felt no pressure from her to sway towards any particular property. After almost four months of searching for the perfect home, I have truly enjoyed working with her. She has made this process extremely easy and enjoyable.

Thank You, Zillow!. Thank you Zillow for making home/property /land searching easy! And being able to shop with a partner is key. I really appreciate the platform you guys have. It’s super easy to use. I also really like how you can see Zillow owned homes - I recently learned about that which is interesting. There’s lots of information readily available which I appreciate. I like that you can save many searches as well. One suggestion/question - I have my real estate license and enjoy looking for properties for investors. Is there any way to get information for investors - as far as the income a property brings in typically every month? Not sure if that has to be a separate thing. I just know I used to have an app that would show you that information for investors - so you could see how much a property was currently making through rentals and that way you have numbers to give the investors to look at it when they’re deciding on what properties are worth buying.

Worst costumer service ever!!!!!!!. I went through zillows because I saw it had good rating. Please do not be deceived. They never call back. I called the office and each time the people there are rude as of they are doing you a favor. I pay for credit reports, not them paying for me! Costumers bring business to this people. Then the person showing the home asked for an application after I payed zillows already for a credit run. I payed 50 dollars and from what I could see on their site the day o applied, no applications on the house yet. But now I am being asked for an application again after days went by which puts me one of the lasts one one the list ?? Where is the money? What did I pay for??? I called the office…no call back. None at all. The person showing the house told me my application needed to be refilled and that they don’t have access to zillow’s information. They are a third party. My money is gone and no one is taking responsibility for it. I have no house and cannot apply to another home because you can only apply for one house at a time. I have less than a month to move now and money missing from my account to who knows who, or what. Please stay away from zillows !!! Please this is fraud and they need to be reported.

So you need to look for a home..,,it's all there is but is it worth it...no no!. This app is so invasive that it demands all your time, Particulars for those that are more discerning in the search for life accommodations. It stays active even when you want to sleep. It pops open after you initiate a conversation with it. Think of the most pushy car sales person you ever met who is also a dentist and learned sales on the floor of the NY Stock Exchange. If you like that kind of thing Z is your seller, but if you want support in making a difficult financial and life decision, well oops it's about the only thing available. But it will try to force you into neighborhoods wake you and put you to bed won't let you rest until you pick one and delete all remnants of it from all your devices. In that way it is satisfactory because after you make a decision you get to murder this irritating and obnoxious sales person and you will never want to make another purchase! You will also likely settle for less than you want since the irritation is constant and complete that you are imprisoned by it's overwhelming and constant presence!

Great/ needs improvement. I love this app! There are some things that would really be helpful though. Some of the people I agree with. The aerial view back would be nice. The lot line feature is just not the same. I disagree w/ the street view not being helpful. I too am an out of town buyer and appreciate being able to “walk” around the neighborhood to see if people keep their properties up. You can have a beautiful little house sitting in the middle of a big dump, Or across the street from rundown down low income housing units, or right next to an abandoned oil rig. A picture of the front of the house just doesn’t tell you anything about the neighborhood. I say, keep Street view, get rid of lot lines and or add the aerial view. It would also be nice to be able to save a “definitely” list of houses and a “maybe” list of houses instead of just one long list. It would also be nice to have a sort feature that would sort them by location. Some of us are looking in multiple towns. I love this app, but it could use a good polish.

Some issues, but overall the best for real estate perusal. Yes, there are issues, some that are beyond aggravating. Yet it is the one app I go to on almost a daily basis for 2nd home and vacation condo shopping, or to just look at dream homes in new areas. On my iPad, most recently the app just locks up, requiring either a restart or deleting and reinstalling the Zillow. Ultimately I’d love to see 3D street viewing as an option, and the return of image saving and saving to room choices...I lost all my Dream Kitchen and Master Bath photos saved from homes we traveled to Georgia to visit. Why did this option go? You can still screenshot an image, so privacy can’t be the issue. On the plus side, the option to connect with the agent, the display options, the filter features, and overall presentation are pleasant. Decent control over search saves and update notifications as well. I read another viewers issue with incorrect information, but when I cross-check w/other real estate apps, it looks as if it is the owner or agent that is supplying incorrect information, as it is consistent throughout all the apps. Thanks for fun home shopping and comparative analyzing, Zillow!

Great but needs some added features. I like using the zillow app because in this market, the housing search never stops, even when you’re on the go. It gives me the information I need about properties, and works relatively well. Sometimes it fails to load when I select a link from my email to open in the app, which causes me to have to select it multiple times hoping it will load. One thing I really want to see out of zillow is the “x-out” feature that they have on other websites. It saves me a lot of time not having to check through the places I’ve aleady ruled out for one reason or another. I find the app to be a little easier to use than the computer because the small pane they give you to browse the property info on the computer (in a split screen with the pictures) is a little ridiculous whereas on the phone you can scroll through it on your whole screen. I use it everyday so I can’t NOT recommend it, but it sure could use some changes to the UI.

Helpful in searching. Zillow allows me to get a general idea of a property. This allows me to try an make a mor informed decision on which properties I want to look at. Although it is not Zillow’s fault, the pictures can be very deceiving. I wish the realtors would portray some different views. For me I am looking for somewhere I can also park our 38 foot Motorhome. I have found some locations that appear to offer that accommodation but I will not know for certain until I can eye ball the property in person. Again that is no fault of Zillow’s. I love having the satellite view showing the property lines. This tells me if there is enough space beside the house where I could make our own space for the RV but I find most of the houses are just about setting on the property lines as they are which afford us no option to extend a drive to the rear of the house. Over all I am very pleased with Zillow. I would recommend it to get general information. The information Zillow shows and what your real estate agent may or can be somewhat different. So use Zillow as a guide.

Marta Zimon, real estate agent for Keller Williams. Marta Zimon is the best real estate agent I have ever met. She goes above and beyond to ascertain that we were informed about the latest listings and was involved with us throughout the process. We were living in upstate NY when we decided to move to TN. We came to visit in July and Marta showed us many homes. We were unable to list our NY home since the countertop installation had been delayed. Marta continued to email and text us new listings. When we sold our home, Marta jumped into action. My husband came to look at more homes. Marta found us the perfect home and helped us through the purchasing process. She was our eyes and ears in TN. Marta is not only a great real estate agent, she has become a wonderful friend. I don’t know how we would have completed everything and closed on our home without her. There are only 5 stars available but we would give her 100 stars if we could.

Not a fan of the latest update; Zestimate algorithm feels Orwellian.. 1. I feel like it’s now harder to see the HOA fees when you’re browsing, and those can make a huge difference in the affordability of the listing. Also, I feel like it’s harder to change the mortgage estimate (it used to be easy to zero out the insurance payment if you could see that was covered by HOA — it’s still easy to zero that out, but now I can’t figure out how to make it recalculate the monthly mortgage once I make changes). Also, the new app icon kind of looks like someone sat on the old logo/icon? Not sure if that’s what the effect they were going for... 2. Since Zillow relies on an algorithm to harvest listings from MLS sites, it’s not always as accurate as an actual MLS site (it often misses when properties are sold, for instance). 3. The Zestimate algorithm continues to puzzle me... it doesn’t seem to have much basis in reality, and when my house was on the market the Zestimate would fluctuate wildly, yet the sudden $30,000 drop in the Zestimate wouldn’t be reflected in graph of the recent Zestimates. It was like the 1984 version of the real estate appraisal... 4. BUT, I use Zillow to browse anyway because it’s free and it’s a relatively intuitive app — if I see something I like, I ask my real estate agent about it, and they send me the official MLS listing with the more accurate details.

Still Needs Improvement. Zillow does not worry about facts and their information can be very inaccurate. I was advised by my realtor to avoid using Zillow because of inaccurate information. The Zillow website is very user friendly, but just beware it can be misleading. After I bought my new home I “claimed it” on the Zillow website. They are showing I purchased the home for much less than I did, but they will not correct this information. I called the tax office just to be sure nothing bogus was going on. It turns out my info and the tax office is the same. So long story short, Zillow is not concerned with showing us inaccurate information. Update: After several email exchanges, scanning and submitting documents proving I was providing factual information, Zillow corrected the information I was disputing. The person who helped me seemed polite and helpful. So I changed my review from a 1 star to 3 stars. The reason for 3 stars is I still have several problems with what happened. First off, I still do not know why false information was provided. Second, I do not know why it was so hard to have the information corrected. Third, and this is my biggest problem...I have asked Zillow repeatedly where did they get their incorrect information, and Zillow has never responded to my question.

Property Management Integrity?. The Zillow app is incredibly convenient. ‘Some of the Property Management Companies’ may lack integrity, for some it appears to me that rental applications are an important source of income. 1) We applied for a rental property. On the morning of the applications deadline the app still showed only one applicant. Our credentials far exceeded the requirements so we were very excited and began mentally preparing to move. Then the letter came… “Thank you for your application. We are sorry to inform you that we have chosen another applicant.” I asked if there is any particular information on my application that was a deciding factor to choose another. The reply was….. “Honestly, the place was rented before your application even came in, so I never even read your application.” I opened the Zillow app immediately. The listing was still up and still showed 1 application submitted. $80 for two application fees wasted 2) Similar story. “We chose another applicant before we got to your application.” another $80 for two application fees wasted I’m starting to wonder if income is the real reason they require both husband and wife to submit applications. * I suggest that you set up a tour before applying, especially if the Management company does not accept the Zillow pre-qualify rental application. Get to know the Property Management Company and it’s representatives. Ask if they have friends or family looking for a rental property.

Our Realtor ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Plus!!. We were moving from Minnesota to Texas and so we started looking at homes available in our price range in Texas on Zillow. We lucked out on a couple of different homes we kept seeing on the website ( they were selling so quickly) But we did not luck out on the Realtor we happen to connect with thru Zillow! Remember this name “Linda Warnock;”she patiently and consistently work with us and for us like no other realtor we have ever had in the past! She goes/ went far and beyond expectations in making sure our needs were met. We would and will recommend her every opportunity possible. I promise you will not ever be disappointed with herThorough diligence in satisfying you when it comes to buying a new home for yourself no matter where you might live. We bought our home in Texas while still living in Minnesota thanks to her professional help and team. Thank you dearly for sticking with us every step of the way and beyond! Appreciate you so much Linda! The Ensrud’s

Used to be One of the Best House Hunter apps. I had previously rated this app as 4 * but I have ad to drop that down. It seems lately that when some of these app developers update the apps that it isn’t an improvement but rather the opposite. Such is the case with Zillow. They used to have a place where you could find your saved searches, but not anymore. It’s pointless now to save a search because you can’t go back to find it if you create a different search. Therefore you need to heart any places you like because you won’t find it in a saved search. Also, you used to be able to delete any places, houses, condos etc that you weren’t interested in so as to clear up all the results. Again, not anymore. It makes it quite cumbersome to drill thru all the results when it takes you back to the beginning of your search for whatever reason. Now with that all being said, there are still things I really do like about it. They seem to have the most results for an area than some of the other apps. They also have more stats on a house and are usually up to date as to whether a sale is pending on a place. So while they went backwards a bit, they are still fairly good compared to others.

Went From Best to Worst. An example of a company being unresponsive to customers over the years, and failing. This used to be the best real estate app out there. It used to give you an advantage over realtors to see the valuable info, or potential discrepancies with listing prices. But now they are outdated and out paced by the others. Info and status takes longer to update than on competitors. Z-estimates used to be spot on, but now they’re 100k below market in the neighborhood I’m looking at (20%!). This damages the market. They are measuring value based solely on house square footage. So if a house is 20% smaller than comp sale, it estimates 20% lower value. No other factors considered, like same neighborhood, larger lot, pool, the fact that NO HOUSE in the city is selling for less, and it’s a seller’s market. So buyers see this estimate, and there’s huge discrepancy between their expectations and the listings which go immediately to pending. Then they lose out/ chase market. Also, I know people have been complaining about the non-close-able listing list that takes up half the screen for at least 5 years. More like 10. I know because I complained to them back then. Is it really that hard to hide the list?! Their competitors listened. Get the competing app. This one’s obsolete.

Hat that there is not a choice to exit when you ask for a review.. My review is that when you asked me to write a review the choices are write a review or the word OK. Either one takes me to a place that I don’t really want to go to because there’s no choice of exiting out. This is the one thing that I really don’t like about Zillow I’ve given you five stars if I had something more to say I would say it I don’t like having to be forced into going to this area to say something just so that makes you guys happy. please change it to where there is an option to exit out after you’ve given your star rating. Otherwise it just becomes a new since I’ve been on Zillow for years I look at Zillow all the time because I’m a real estate investor and I don’t necessarily need to redo a review but on your drop-down it forces me to so here’s your review. It’s terrible this drop down to give a review I don’t like it it’s a pain

Good App, But Not Perfect. What can I say? There’s simply no competition. This is the best personal real estate app that exists (I prefer LoopNet, but it’s a different sector type). That said, there are many simple errors that would be very easy to fix if anyone at Zillow actually took the time to update the app. See below for my general gripes: 1) Can’t turn phone sideways to get a horizontal rectangular selection of properties. 2) Even though it says you can, you simply cannot filter out auctioned homes, which completely throws off the selection when you sort for pricing low-to-high since they have a price of $0. 3) The school-scoring-selection (as is, only show me homes in areas with a HS rated 7+) does not work at all. 4) Many pre-fab homes and apartments slip through the filters to show up in incorrect categories, again throwing off search results (perhaps uploaded error, but there’s also no way to flag a post for incorrect information). 5) There’s no way to auto-zoom to the largest possible area for homes to show up. You’re either zoomed in closer than you need, or zoomed out too far for homes to show up. LoopNet can show properties across the entire country with no limit. And it’s quite fast. Why is this not possible on Zillow? 6) There’s no way to see which areas Zillow predicts to be hottest vs coldest or return more vs return less in the years to come. This would be an extremely helpful feature.

Glitchy. This app is glitchy. The same site says I’m both the owner and not the owner! It says I can’t edit the post because I’m not the owner and it also has a place that allows me to unclaim the home. It won’t allow me to edit my rental listing. Also the options are lacking. I’d like the option to customize the contract length to 9 months but only 6 mo and 1 yr are available. it would be nice if there was an option for the landlord to be flexible on lease length but these are required fields that can not be left blank. The Zillow rental manager app has different fields than the Zillow app. The Zillow app gives the landlord the option the spell out what the rent covers. The rental manager app does have this feature. That’s problematic because if you lower the price to get more interest but want to reduce what’s included in the rent you can not do this through the rental manager app because the Zillow app will remain as it was causing confusion.

Maylin Carbajal ~ a Great Agrnt. Maylin Carbajal was my agent when I bought my beautiful Montgomery, AL home last October 29, 2021. She really made it happen and this was with me living in NYC! I only saw this home on Zillow September 9th and by the 15th of September, I was bidding on it. I am a first time homeowner and she went to great lengths to help me secure this historic home including my placing a bid electronically, dealing with inspections from afar and hiring people to clean this home which hadn’t been occupied for years. She even found a nearby Air B&B when I came out to see it in person before closing. Every step of the way she literally held my hand and worked hard to make sure everything went on schedule. I cannot recommend this hard working, kind and thoughtful agent Maylin Carbajal highly enough. She is the angel that made my 1000 mile move into the home of my dreams possible. And she even negotiated a lower price. It has been such a pleasure to know and work with Maylin Carbajal, such an amazing and gifted agent. I am forever grateful she was my buyer’s agent.

Not really helpful. I don’t even care about the logo. The fact is that they don’t list most of the details around the houses. Weather they are this or that and what kind of loan is approved for what house. Also most realtors that use this app are only worried about the most funds they can get out of someone. I’ve talked to three different realtors and all see to worry about is the amount I would put down. Weather my loan was conventional or not. And claiming the houses had several offers and come to find out that those offers didn’t exist and the houses I wanted to purchases or even remotely wanted to see are still on the market til this day. So watch out everyone if you know what to look in a house like myself and know the actual worth don’t deal with some of these realtors they are trying to get the most from you and only care about themselves instead of working at it and selling a piece of property not even worth for the ridiculous amount they are asking for. Just a reminder if you don’t have the loan they want or the cash up front you can’t view their property as stated by Alexis in pa. So even if you have a loan if it doesn’t match up you ain’t getting a tour or the house. Also you will get lied to and then told one thing which you know isn’t going to happen. Been waiting three days now. Still haven’t received a email about any of the locations I have inquired

Weird interface and layout of the app. This new feature of where you have to type in what you want into the search bar is weird. For example, “homes in Austin, Texas” what is the point of having this feature?!? You have the filters for a reason. Also, I’ve seen the property tax be different from other apps like Redfin and brokerage websites like Remax. It’s annoying because you don’t know what the actual amount is. They also tend to make it hard to find information such as utilities and acreage. Super difficult to find this info on the app. Redfin makes it easy to this info without have to struggle and read through so much. With the removal of street view, there’s no reason to use this app. You can copy and paste the address into google maps and use street view from there but it makes the process so repetitive and tedious. The zestimate is also so off. Idk how they get these numbers but it’s hard to sell when your zestimate is so low and you price is higher rightfully so. Zestimate doesn’t take in account for renovations so the price never updates. So it’s constantly a low zestimate which screws over the seller because the buyers are going off of old, non-renovated zestimate figures.

I really love Zillow. I really love Zillow and have turned to them for nearly a decade now. They make it beyond easy to search for a home or vacation rental. If I was to change anything about Zillow. It would be to not allow incorrect info from agencies or whomever. There are too many times that I type in a simple request; such as pool, amount of acres, year built or want a certain amenity. Only to find out (once requested) my search results don’t show what I requested. Making it much harder to search individually for my ideal home. This happens a lot, often from this company called invitation homes. Typing the same info on every listing, stating if your home has a pool, additional cost would be, etc... If possible, please do what you can to prevent this from happening in the future. If the listing doesn’t have what’s searched for then why does the listing even talk about it. Laziness on their part. Not Zillow’s, of course. Thanks again, Zillow.

Value of Homes Not Accurate. Update: Zillow did respond to my concerns. Answer was logical as to how home values are arrived - but - our home continues to change in value from neighbor homes. Why? If values are taken from sold homes of similar type in our neighborhood and unbiased, why the huge discrepancy? Zillow’s software surely can only give results from standard base line data. If homes are similar in design and make up, the values should be within reason - not a difference of $8k to $10k. Perhaps Zillow should only show a range of value - low to high - of homes within the area (neighborhood) instead of a single value? Previously: Not sure how homes are valued. House on both sides are valued several thousands different from ours and no improvements or repairs have been done. Our home has been taken care of, landscaping, upgrades, energy saving additions, etc. The problem with services like Zillow is it tags a home with a $ value that doesn’t do the home owner any good or help when selling - expecting to sell at its market worth. The real estate programs shouldn’t show any $ value on homes not listed for sale and only homes that are listed should have asking prices.

Great features IF you can figure out how to use them all.... I can't begin to list all of the features that Zillow provides to the prospective home buyer. Generally it's been a great mobile app. However, here's a handful of concerns: First, when you search it doesn't always find all of the houses that are listed using the filter parameters you put in. Second, it doesn't always show the houses that are listed by other "realtor" apps. Third, it's just kind of difficult to figure out how to get it to search for a larger area than just the city. We live in a smaller city (Amarillo, Texas) that has a lot of rural areas around it and would like to include those areas in our searches, in addition to some of the closer small towns. Fourth, just figuring out how to search and save a search is a bit challenging. In conclusion, as I said earlier, it is a great app that is loaded with features, and I will continue to use it as my main source of real estate information, but I just wish it was a little easier to navigate.

Management does care. Update: Ok after the below review, Zillow personnel contacted me and told me exactly what to do in my settings to get it to work correctly. Looks like they do care so if you have a problem make sure to contact them. I did email them earlier about the previous version with the same problem I was just having but the person I spoke to did not have the same knowledge as this current, knowledgeable person. So be persistent. Earlier review and the problem I had: Zillow maps no longer works in this current version on 30Dec2017 nor did it work on the previous version... That's why I upgraded it. I guess the company no longer cares about the Zillow app product. I do not recommend downloading or using this product until they fix it. There are many complaints about the maps not working. Just do an internet search. Maybe one day the app will be useful again. I will review it again at that time.

Not as helpful as before. Decent app but has recently been a much worse experience. Partially because there’s no quality standard for seller posting the house, partially because developers seem to be catering more to the sellers than buyers. I definitely want the ability to hide properties again. It was much easier to keep up with actually interesting and new listings when I could remove the ones we know were out of the running. This seems similar to Comcast’s (the most hated company in the US for a long time running) decision to clutter your channel guide just so they can throw in the must upgrade message in your face every two seconds. The other main issue is there have been more and more typos or false listings. Description and details not matching up on a house. Addresses not being correct. Huge price drops done “accidentally” to garner more attention. Outdated listings never removed. Rude realtors not interested in actually helping or asking what we’re looking for, just buy this now or sign up for our flier which is just a repackaged Zillow listing spammed out and not to our preferences at all. Zillow’s become a cesspool and needs some quality control.

I got scammed!. Whatever you do, DO NOT submit an inquiry through the app! I sent some inquiry for a few homes that is up for rent with my e-mail and phone number, ever since then I keep getting multiple calls and texts from different numbers claiming they are the owner of the homes. I responded to 2 of them and they seemed legit at first until it came time to view the homes. It turns out the two people I have been in contact with claimed that they are the home owners of one of the homes, both kept trying to get me to sign up for a different app (I had to pay for a subscription!) and I couldn’t get access to view the homes. They kept trying to get me to fill in an application and pay a fee anyway without being able to view the homes, I asked them if it would be refundable because they kept promising me that I am the first and only to fill in the application so it’s a high chance I would be able to rent and move in the following day. I never heard back from them since, they scammed me out of $85! I called the number from the Zillow app and they said it was a scam and can’t do anything to help get my money back.

Awesome. User friendly. Easy. Uptodate. Very useful.

Crashes easily. Crashes so many times, very frustrating

Could use more viewing options. Some realestate apps allow you to swipe left to right on the list view. Would be nice if Zillow did the same.

Fantastic realestate. Love searching for new investments!

Epic, awesome, Fantastic.. Zillow is all of the above plus more. Simple to follow, always works, clear and accurate. Get this app now people.

Zillow.... Great App, good info even in mobile app, making finding a home from Australia a bit easier.

Too much SPAM. Developers: you Need to remove endorsements, marketing spam resulting from the installation process. I use the app then delete it entirely to avoid the spam in favour of other apps that don’t have this problem.

Moving up. While this program will not answer all questions, it is the best real estate app for to get the most information. Knowledge is power or in this case buying power.

Love it. I have a bit of an obsession with both houses, and real estate in the US market. This app feeds that obsession, and feeds it well. Perfect if you're looking abroad for both rentals or sales. Easy format to understand, and a good companion to Zillows' other app 'Ziillow DIGS'.

Reasonably good but still not the best. The app is reasonably good, much better than Street Easy but please let me scroll through pictures on search results. I don’t want to have to open each listing every time!

Not enough. Realetor found more properties then Zillow. But everything else is great!

Love it. Best app for looking for houses in the US, easy to use and a variety of results!

Farmer. Really good app. Will use a lot Mortgage info great

Love it!. Excellent app, all in one, easy to navigate

This app is trash. Useless

Brilliant app. Great if you are thinking of relocating and want to check housing or rental values

Great property app. Great app, does everything you would need & expect from this type of app. A+

Feedback. The Zillow app is excellent!

.. Great app, but they should expand to other countries and religions

Great App love it!!. A must for all home buyers/sellers

It's a good app. I particularly like the tax info

Very good. Great app, but need to be able to filter by "pets allowed".

Very good app. Easy to use

Awesome. We bought our last home using Zillow as one of our resources. It's a great app. Easy to use with heaps of info

For Sale/Rent anywhere from anywhere. Such a convenience!

Completely useless. Why would you release this piece of s.... at least the old version worked. Ok 1 sync messages as it won't sync properly 2 cannot select photos to full screen tapping them doesn't allow you to view the, 3 birds eye and map don't work. Good work, really good work

Zillow. Good application , just updating information is a bit out of date or still hasn't been updated.

Great app. Great detail and so good with what you can do and search for

Out of Date Properties. I have used this app a few time the last few years and I can't believe the number of times the real estate agents come back to me and tell me that the property was sold months ago or that the price of the property was incorrect and way higher. Zillow must pull information from other sites but not good enough to pull the correct information. I have now deleted this crappy app and have got with other competitors. If you do choose to download this app I would like to warn you to not get your hopes up until a real estate agent gets back to you

Zillow. Great updated info!!!

Excellent. Great app. Gets the job done

Unusable. This app used to be great but is now unusable. Won’t load any location in a reasonable timeframe and dies completely when using PIP from streaming apps. Zillow what happened ?

My Favourite. I love this app so much, i spend so much time looking at houses i can’t afford on this app. keep up the good work xx

Great UX. Terrific app to source and view property.

Great app!. The Zillow App is great for browsing through properties remotely, while sitting at home and even as far as from down under in Australia!! ☀️☀️

Amazing. The information that this app provides -all at your fingertips - is powerful. I'm recommending it to everyone I know.

Zillow is good. Great app, sometimes a little out if date with the market but the extra info you get more than makes up for it.

The Draw option. The ability to choose an area to look at by drawing a circle around is a game changer.

Zillow is great. A very helpful and easy to use app.

Great app for property. Easy to use, to search, to save.

Very useful app. Brilliant app, simple to use and bursting with appropriate info. Love it!

Easy to use. Easy to navigate and great for overseas buyers

Mrs. Very easy to navigate

Please rollback recent changes. Ever since update I keep getting “please verify you are a human” over and over, cannot sign in and cannot get past captcha screen at all, no matter how many times I verify. Phone is up to date on iOS 15, app is up to date & has been uninstalled and reinstalled to troubleshoot. Please fix.

No support for Australia. Literally no results in my city with all filters off. Useless.

So. Many. Emails.. I really, really, really, really, really hate all the emails I get from this site. I don’t want all the peripheral junk emails you send me just because I save a home to my favourites. GET RID of the re-subscribe function immediately. Your app is great but the spam emails you send me are ridiculous. If I want emails from you I’ll subscribe.

Awesome. Viewing from Australia, I have an interest to relocate to Hawaii. This app is better then any Realestate app in Australia... well done.

Totally 5 star app. One of a kind in app form - a must have. Basically does anything property searching and listing related that you could possibly want. Great interface and just like all good quality software, constant minor updates and occasional major ones keep taking Zillow from strength to strength.

Great tool for someone new to the U.S. Market.. As an Aussie moving to San Jose (sight unseen), this app has been amazing. Without it I would have had zero chance at making sense of what exactly is on offer in the U.S. rental market. With this app I was able to work out the best suburbs, the best properties and even plan where to buy a property 18 months from now. Strongly recommend. My only complaint is that I can't refine the regions further than a relatively wide area, so the list view section is virtually useless as most of the houses are well outside the zone I need to live within. Can we please have a feature where we can either select a number of locations with a custom radius (and overlap them all on a single map) or draw a region on the map by hand?

Great search engine!. I love the detail you can extract when searching for homes on this app! Fabulous! I do wish we could have a filter to determine one story houses from multiple story houses. I'd also like to be able to filter retirement 55+ communities from others. It would be really helpful.

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Zillow PLEASE get into the Winnipeg Manitoba Canada market!!!

slayyyeddddd. this app slays. thats it.

Zillow & Tarzan. Zillow is in every way as impressive as the Tarzan Legacy Its amazing you will just fall in love with the listings & frequent Professional updates Sincerely Briar Rabbit ( the first ) update also don’t forget the famous words of none other then Arnold Schwarzenegger up up and away, a spoon full of sugar, and everyone’s favorite, when Arnold said something like i’m going to make him an offer he can’t refuse. Boy that Arnold nails it every time, except the line a got a ferret back there especially since he really had a hamster there more then once

No responses to requests on 3 different listings. I request for tours and request for questions and never hear anything back and then the listing is off market. Just requested a tour for a place that was on there not even one day, contacted them, I was sent a generic message that they would get back to me through text and the next day the house is off market. Frustrated with the lack of communication.

No good. Couldn’t open one listing. The app kept crashing on me. Deleted and moving on.

H MacIntyre. App doesn’t work. What else can I say.

It crashes. Nice app, but I crashes right after opening it.

Impossible for Canadian relocation in US. We are moving to US so our IP is Canadian and make the application impossible for us. As Canadian you can not use zillow. The realtor in charge of our relocation talked to the owner and the owner wanted us to apply via Zillow. The “learn more” link to learn about IP goes to dead link oops “The page you were looking for doesn't exist You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved Take me back to the home page”

SharePlay feature works terribly. I like the app itself but the SharePlay feature is not working at all. When I try to use it while on FaceTime call with a friend, we have to click on properties like 5-20 times before they actually open up the listing. Using the draw feature completely breaks the app while on SharePlay, the screen turns white and afterwards it doesn’t find listings anymore.

The app doesn’t load houses. Every time I click on a house to view I get an error message. This same issue has been happening for about 1 week.

Extremely glitchy. App is hard to navigate without it shutting down, freezing and information disappearing. Used to be okay, however, not the case as of lately.

Waterfront only. Three. Stars because properties that get sent to me are not waterfront when that was one of my filters and the only thing I want to see.

No Canadian listings. I really don’t understand why this appears so high in the Canadian App Store when it’s largely useless here. Yes, I realize for a small minority of Canadians looking for American property it works, but I downloaded this app to help me find a home in Canada, which it absolutely cannot do. At the very least, this needs to be a disclaimer or pointed out somewhere in the app description, if it’s going to have such a high rank in the Canadian App Store.

Awful. Everytime you click to see the pictures of the house and property info screen pops up trying to get you to do a video tour or be contacted by a realtor and you can’t close it or get it to go away. I want to see the pictures of the property first before I commit my energy to anything else, there should be a way to collapse the screen so you can view the pictures of the property without an invasive screen in the way. The listings of land for sale pictures are not blocked at all only the listings with structures on them. I’d rather use the full site than get frustrated over and over with this app.

Does not work on Ipad. The app open and keep loading forever without showing anything. Completely useless.

Parkland. Excellent service, first class at receiving properties and open houses 🏠 Thanks so much Zillow

Canada support. Why is this even in the Canadian AppStore?

Doesn’t filter the HOA MAX. I like the app very much very up to date with the listings but while doing the filter and put the options of maximum HOA IT doesn’t filter

Good Feature. The function for this app is very good to find a house of any location and show the price for customers. And it also can let you see the conditions of house inside. If it has VR function, that would be more perfect.

Cancon. Needs better Canadian content.

Needs a Dark Mode. Too bright all the time. An app of this calibre needs a dark mode please.

Promoting homosexuality has nothing to do with rentals. I was disappointed and annoyed by the change of the Zillow app to the multicoloured logo as homosexuality has nothing to do with rentals. I feel harassed by Zillow as they are pushing their immorality on me when I only want to find a place to rent. For those reasons I deleted the app.

There was a problem loading your home. I don’t know what happened but all the sudden the app doesn’t let me view anything. Every tap I make I get a pop out saying “there was a problem loading your home. Refresh your screen to try again” I’m running the latest software update on my phone and the app. I’m also on an iPhone 13 Pro. Let me know when this is fixed but for now I’m deleting.

Boundary Bay Realty. Dan was very helpful in assisting us acquiring a property in Point Roberts! He is knowledgeable, frank and courteous! We highly recommend Dan at Boundary Bay Realty!

Crap. Video upload does not work.

Virtually no responses. They need to set up a better system because I will message apartments 1-2 hours after they’ve been listed and I think out of 1000 places I’ve messaged maybe only 20 have responded back. And half of them stay listed as available. It’s super frustrating and irritating

Seriously. Utterly disappointing! Was working fine before but everytime I try to view a property the page cannot load please refresh the page. Did reinstall same error persisting.

Does not show condos in the Ottawa Ontario area. I’m not getting any results

Good research site. Excellent recon without being there

John K. Very interesting and informative program.. keeps me up to date on what the markets doing .

Crash test dummy. You can delete and reinstall all you want, but it still crashes on opening on an iPhone.

Home searching. It’s great

Crashes regularly. This app has a better UI than most real estate apps but it’s super laggy and constantly overheats my phone and then crashes. If I happen to open it at a friend’s place it sometimes asks me if I own the property, which seems kind of invasive. Why do you need to know if I own that place or not, when I’m the one providing the search parameters for areas I’m looking for property in? Unnecessary and a bit creepy imo. It also often puts listings I’ve already viewed as new. I wish there were more options I could use in my search too.

Can’t sign in. Tried several methods to sign in and none work. Deleted the app.

Zillow is the best. I love Zillow, it’s the best property search ever made.

Fake/expired listings. App is glitchy / shows old listings from years before marked with todays date

Home. App works great I enjoy looking at all the different places.

Mcm. I am searching a MCM style house is there a way to sort that?

Good search engine for home buyers. Thanks for helping us👍👍 Finding a house is now extremely easier. Thanks a lot.

The most informative real estate site available. Thank you for generating this site I use it extensively every day an absolute must for any real estate investor Marty Walker

Won’t let me create account. I’ve tried to create an account both with gmail and apple and the app doesn’t respond. Why is this rated so high?

Can't sign in. Signing in with apple or Google doesn't do anything.

Great App but... I’m not a fan of the Walk Score part. Often the house is close to town to walk but still has a low score of 1-2-3 and it keeps people from buying a house sometimes based on this alone. I know the Caper Breton area but others don’t and assume a house is too far away based on this.

The Best. This is 3 months that I am studying properties both for investment and for my residence, and found Zillow the best virtual search instrument. It gives me all I need and expected: updates, maps, street view, tools to compare, pictures, detailed info, lots of useful and accurate content from A to Z for buying property to everything about property investment, etc. It is very interactive and attractive in the way that you may lose your time while being deep inside it.

Cottages. Seem to most up to date property’s and pricing would like to see property taxes posted as well but great site

This app is amazing!. I dont know if you guys have heard of Fairsquare (now shutdown) but this app reminds me so much of it!

Terrible. Please don’t use this app. I put in several requests to view houses. Ask why no one was getting back to me. No answers ever. Sorry for you..I went with another app Zolo. They are wonderful and found me a house. He gets the money.

No Canadian coverage?. Whaaat?

Old listings not updated regularly.. Great app. but listings are old and need to be cross indexed with another R/E app. Kinda if makes it useless. But the technicals and layout are great. If listings update issue was fixed, I would give a definite 5.

Great app. Simple and easy to use and navigate. Includes all the information I need. It’s a great app

Going to find a new app to use. This app/site now seems like lawsuits are going to start flying. MLS is inaccurate on our house thanks to the shoddy realtor who sold it to us a few years ago. Knowing my own house is inaccurate, I can no longer trust any of the Zillow estimates for other listings I see on Zillow. This essentially just ruined the credibility of Zillow. The recent changes to the Zillow site are horrific. Cant edit your own home or remove old photos anymore. And their searches are completely inaccurate, despite my settings saying to exclude under contract listings, it shows them as for sale anyways. Not sure why they’re making these changes, but they’re about to lose me as a longtime fan of their app/site. The MLS data on my house is not accurate and the dingbat realtor that sold us the house couldn’t use the internet to save her life. But now that property info come straight from mls there is no way to get an accurate picture of my home value. And since I am not a realtor I cannot fix the information that was put into MLS incorrectly.

Cease and Desist. Public service announcement-Zillow, lawyers and its accomplices are DBA property management companies and are fleecing money in the hundreds of millions across this country from ppl looking for a place to live. They are exclusively, quietly, buying up every home and rental property for the purpose of taking in application fees $(35,$50 or $100 fee per adult per household) over and over again on a daily basis. I watched one particular rental go from 0 applicants, to 36 back to 9 down to no applicants all in the same day. This problem began 10 years ago with attorneys DBA property managers I know from personal experience and now it’s reaching the point where nobody can find a house and no credit or income qualifies. They never call back. They leave houses empty. Why should they rent them when each attorney can fleece $5,000-$10,000 per day from application fees. Americans stop selling your house. They are knocking on doors offering 350% more than the house is valued at. This is targeting the rich and the poor wake up America. Zillow cease and desist.

Best tool for real estate sales. It is such a helpful tool for buyers who want to look for a home. You can type in area to search in certain communities. You can also draw the area you are looking for a home. You can see immediately the houses listed for sale in red dots including the asking price of the house. Upon clicking on the red dot you can see photos of the house with interior views of different rooms in the house. You can also see the detail facts of the house from number of bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage of the house. You can also scroll down to see the sale history of the house, the tax history , school district and other vital statistics pertaining to the property. If you are looking for a home to purchase you must download the Zillow app. It will save you much leg work.

It sure what’s going on. So my husband and I have used this app for years and it’s been very helpful on our home buying journey . We ran into some issues with the homes we liked being already pending or even sold !! And some minor info issues , but overall it was a good tool . But now that we are in the SELLING end of this process , there’s been much info that has been wrong about our home , we were able to get them taken care of thankfully. But the biggest issue / annoyance is that our number of views has dropped over 500 views in the last few weeks !? We assume that once you “ view” a home it’s been seen and one can’t simply in view it , but it’s happening . From what we understand those are indeed the “ all time “ views so what gives !?! Also we get that people can in favorite a house , but to have like 10 in a night randomly is doesn’t sound accurate when there’s been none prior . This is very annoying because potential buyers look to these silly useless statistics to get a homes popularity and presence ! Anyway that’s my main issue now .

Could be better.. There needs to be a way to eliminate auction listings from my search. I have no interest in fighting a price war or actively competing for this house or that one. I would love to have a feature that lets me type in specific things I’d like to have, like a claw foot tub or hardwood floors throughout the house or a fenced-in yard. Some people might like to eliminate two-story homes due to mobility issues or another person might require a basement or a storage space of another type. People with pets or little kids might need a bathtub (claw foot or otherwise) to bathe their kids or pets and having a feature to eliminate houses with no tubs would streamline their search. If a house is wheelchair accessible, people looking for a new house that is already accessible would be happy to be able to specify that need. If you add more optional parameters and encourage those who are posting new listings to be as specific as possible, you would be helping a lot more people with their house-hunting.

Very bad set up!(scams). Please take not of this feedback I’m about to tell you about this app. It’s not as it says and looks to be. Half the agents are packed with people meeting up at the same time , keep switching your times when you made it there on time. Then the possible rejection cause most places have 40 to 100 tours so your bond to waste hundreds if not thousands on application fees. They claim you can get a refund but then when you meet the terms for it the agent or person that took the fee doesn’t answer back!! Total scam. If you already got scammed get a lawyer for this app and let’s get rid of it together. I met requirements and am a straight forward guy. My appearance or credit score shouldn’t make me lose hundreds or thousands if I kept going on application fees. Sorry for anyone hurt by this app. It’s definitely not honest and definitely lying fully on their refund policy I read if I don’t get my refund back this week. If I don’t I’ll try to find a way some how to get rid of this app for good. Thank you enjoy your day! Thanks for reading my feedback.

Brent Smith, Exp Realtors, Naples, FL. Brent deserves more than a5 star review in my books. And here is why! Brent took many tours with my husband & I in the Ft. Myers area surrounding Naples, Golden Gate, RSW, south & North NAPLES. We entered into Tarpon Bay Community in North Naples and Brent hit the nail on the head. We have more in our community than I ever imagined. Friendly neighborhood, clean community, close to shops, groceries, and main nice places to dine and some with live music. Brent met with a cleaning contractor, helped us with the disappointments we went thru with our MI home sale during a pandemic at that. Everyone said we were crazy; 6 weeks into our home, happy as can be and have had Brent in our home as a guest. Best of all; we barely knew anyone here & he even help us unload our pod! A gentleman who seen us through our entire move. He should be your guy, if you’re serious about a move whether it’s moving in or out of your home.

Estimates a bit off. Hi, I enjoy looking at Zillow for a quick price comparison of houses in my neighborhood. However, I think Zillow could do better of estimating houses that have upgrades and the upgrades are listed in the description of the house by owner. Case and point, two houses same basic features one upgraded and the other is not can not be worth the same. Too many potential buyers get sticker shock when the same two houses have as much as $100k price difference between them. Why? A renovated kitchen costs as much as $25k, bathroom $10k, etc. That’s not a freebie baked into to avg price of a house lol That’s additional cost to get that house to that point. Until Zillow takes those factors into consideration prices are for entertainment purposes only and means absolutely nothing.

Desktop, mobile on web, and mobile app do not communicate. Congratulations! Your interfaces are so terrible, I've been driven to leave a negative review on the app store. I don't think I've ever left a review for any app, good or bad, in the App store, but you guys made it happen. Where do I start? For one, the 3 experiences (desktop, MOW, and Mobile app) do not communicate. My log in on desktop and MOW do not work in the app. Sometimes my log in credentials don't work on MOW. I know they're correct, since they've been saved in my keychain from an hour ago. Another thing that drives me crazy? There's no straightforward path to messages for rentals I've already contacted in the app. I have to go to the link from the email I've been sent, which takes me to MOW. Then, if I click to see the full listing on MOW, it takes me to the app. WHAT??? 🤯 That's just scratching the surface of the dysfunction. I'm going to be totally honest: you need a Content Strategy team to wrangle with this beast you've created. BTW this gripe was not condoned or sponsored by your CS team, but God help them as they've got their work cut out for them.

Solid, but requires a lot of user effort. Rentals: I do like the app for multiple reasons. There are often a lot of listings to look through so I know where to start my search. Also having the walk/transit/bike score is helpful. I would like to be able to filter by the walk or bike score because that is an important amenity that requires looking at each listing. Great to have the feature either way. Big problem with the app is with rental listings with multiple apartments available (1 building with multiple options to choose from). I can’t use the “hide” feature. It’s not available on the main listing. The option is available if you click into each apartment on the listings, but it doesn’t actually hide it, even if you select “hide” on each one. This means I have a list of apartments to look through, based on recent searches, with listing I’m uninterested in, but still have to click on the listing to make sure I didn’t see it before.

Magdalena Lozinski/ best realtor I ever met!. My agent was the greatest agent I will ever meet, the hard work this woman put into my house hunt is nothing I can describe, I was very demanding and I know I was not a good person due to my desperate need of a home, this woman did not let that bother her for a second, her name is Magdalena lozinski my to go girl for any homes my friends need and family as well, a cousin of my is moving down next year and I sure do have her realtor. I do owe her big, please I don’t know what you do when we write this reviews, but if you please tell her what a great job she does, I do mean that with the bottom of my heart USSA couldn’t do it for us and she found the right person at the right time, not to mention less interest rate. I am going sometime this or next week to take care a gift for her to share but don’t tell her.

Too much incorrect data and an algorithm that doesn’t reflect the market. There are a lot of properties on Zillow that list with a much higher square footage than the tax records. This comes about because they are including develop space and basements and attics that is not part of the tax record square footage. When one of these homes sells Zillow calculate the square footage and uses it as part of the neighborhood algorithm. When a house with the tax record square footage has its value listed by Zillow yet consistently undervalues the property because of the discrepancy in square footage. That means that a recent sale in the same neighborhood may not show up as a comp. Additionally Zillow tends to undervalue land. Where I live houses with large lots sell at a big premium. Zillow does not reflect this in their algorithm. A recent example, an empty lot sold for $550,000 and is having a very expensive home built on it. Zillow suggests the value is only $170,000. This is reflective of the inadequacy of their algorithm.

Easy and creative search functions. Zillow is one of the easier and less bandwidth intensive apps for researching real estate. For the home buyer, you can easily search a map for homes meeting your criteria. This is especially helpful of your first target area comes up empty or lean, or if a buyer has the freedom to move anywhere in the country within defined criteria. You can expand your search/research to the entire country using the map. It would be helpful to require entries for available services for all properties (e.g. high speed internet, phone, television, utilities) to save time for researchers and reduce questions to sellers. For the seller, one feature that could be improved (and may have been) is that the seller should be able to have historic photos eliminated from prior sales/ownership of a home, so that the most current and marketable photos are presented to buyers.

No Longer By Owner Friendly. You have sold out to the MLS and agents, Zillow. I have used this app for years, successfully finding homes AND selling three homes By Owner. You have now made it virtually impossible for people to find the By Owner listings by first, moving them to their own tab that nobody realized they had to click on. Apparently, that wasn’t deterrent enough because now you’ve taken the tab away and you have to go into the Edit function of your saved search and find the section where you then choose By Owner and Other to see the listings. Sure, like people are going to spend 20 minutes (that’s how long it took me) trying to find something they don’t even realize they have to change, thinking the By Owners are just listed with the agent listings like they were in the ‘good ‘ole days’. I give you credit for starting out with the right idea helping people that want to save the ridiculous realtor costs of commission when we do all the work they’re being compensated for. What a shame you now choose to join them.

Really needs more options. It has a lot going for it, like the map option that loads listings over a selected area, which is much like a radius feature from a selected town that no real estate apps/sites will ever be eilling to produce shich would maje searching much more conceniebt jusy like job searches. So it gets an A+ for that, for being the closest thing to what people actually need there. He no HOA filter is truly the best feature about it, as they are a cancer on america and should be abolished as a criminal instution alientating people from property rights. My biggest complaint is how I cannot control the prices, hence the title. You can only say "50k or under" it's really annoying. Not all of us have a money tree. Maybe I want to look at the price range of 2-5k lots. Nope. Can't do that here. Sometimes also there are lots that I was looking for that don't show up in the search as well, as though hidden. Over rated but yet it has features which will probably never exist anywhere else so there's that.

Works well, but would like a few additions. Basically, this app works fine, but it does get listings slower than Redfin. Make these changes and I’ll give it 5 stars. - Require sellers include a floor plan with measurements, I’m not sure why this isn’t standard. - each listing needs to show whether or not it is VA Loan approved. The VA has just changed their website making it impossible for anyone to check if a listing is VA approved. I’m tired of waiting for my realtor to send a listing to the VA, then waiting for them to get back to us on the status of a listing, it’s a waste of time for everyone involved. By the time we find out, either we’ve fallen in love with a listing we can’t use our loan on, or the listing already has an offer bu the time we find out. - PLEASE, for the love of all that is unholy, add a button to each listing to tell the app to stop showing a particular listing. Just tell your developers to go look at Redfin, we need that button.

Helpful but could be better. Generally easy to use and the go-to app for real estate listings. I like the map feature and saving favorites with notes and tags. But I really wish you could eliminate properties that you already looked at and are not interested in from coming up in the search results each time. If you can favorite a listing, why not add X them out too? And the school search option really needs improvement. Would like to put in a minimum school score for each category (like K-6, middle, etc) and listings don’t show if under that. Hate scrolling so far down for school info since that’s about the first thing I look at to see if it is even worth reading the description and house details. I’m not going to bother if the schools are rated at a 3. But then the next time I search those listings still show. Frustrating and waste of time wading thru everything multiple times.

Excellent Site. Love this real estate site. I feel like a pro as I watch and educate myself on various housing markets across the nation. Here are some pros: It’s easy to use. Shopping, selling or buying a home, I have found, is not nearly as complicated as some lead you to believe. I also like that all my questions and/or if I need to revisit information, are all at my fingertips. Not only that, I can skip waiting for a human to “get back to me”, which can expedite this process greatly. While Zillow does have a wealth of information, be aware there are a few glitches that are getting better, quickly. I definitely and highly recommend use of this site! P.S. I’ve actually done some of my own real estate transactions without the “middleman”. I found the tile company will guide you to the end with regard to the legal part of the transaction. Thank you tile companies!

Zillow values are meaningless. Here’s why you can’t rely on Zillow. We are in a non-gated subdivision. Zillow estimate for a house with less privacy on a busier street only a few houses away from ours with the exact same floor plan as ours is just under $1.4 million. The Zillow estimate for our house is approximately $1 million. Like I say, the floor plan is identical but our house has a higher internal specification with many upgrades. We also have a much larger lot (2/3 of an acre compare to less than half an acre). We have a 6 1/2 foot wall and a 27 foot wide electric gate on the front of our property. While that property has a completely empty backyard, we have an 18,000 gallon salt water pool, a tennis court, masses of artificial grass and a finished, park like almost 2/3 of an acre. Our house is also approximately one year newer. Of course there is no way to get customer service. As an aside, realtors want to list our house at $1.7 million. So thank you Zillow for massively undervaluing my house and having an algorithm that plainly does not work. That’s why I don’t list my properties for sale with you.

Zillow Estimate. The app is overall not a bad app for buyers and if you are just browsing around but for sellers it’s kind of a let down. When my house first went on the market it was appraised very high and we placed it on the market at appraisal value but Zillow estimated my house much lower without ever coming out to look at it. So after a couple of weeks my realtor decided to lower it to match the Zillow estimate, within a few hours Zillow lowered my value again. So we left the price alone for a while, we decided to lower the price once again to match Zillow estimates and what do you know within no time Zillow lowered my estimated price again. They don’t come and look at your house and give it a fair appraisal. I feel that within the six months that I’ve had it on the market, they have run off potential buyers because of giving wrong estimates! I will never sell another house through Zillow again unless they can give me a legitimate reason for their actions!

Selling my home of 50 years. I am a widow and have loved and lived in my house for 50 years. Those two statements are major. The process of moving was very scary to me. My first thought was how can I possibly do this alone. Then I met Christina Swain from Opus Elite Rea Estate. My first impression was that Christina was warm and friendly. She was honest and upfront from the very beginning. I felt like she guided me thru the process with an unexpected ease. She told me what I needed to do and when. Within a few weeks we sold my house, which took a day and purchased a condo Exactly where I wanted my new home to be. She made what could have been a really hard process almost seem easy. She is very knowledgeable and gave me good advice. Now that it’s over, I will miss her cheerful nature and daily check ins. Moving is stressful. But if you choose Christina, she and her staff will handle the stress for you.

They Have the wrong boundaries on certain towns.. They have the wrong Greenfield, Indiana Boundaries- they are limiting the outside area of Greenfield. Theses areas are still Greenfield, Indiana (The town of Greenfield taxes the areas, has the post office address in theses areas and has a Greenfield address) it does not show under the town (only under the county), they refuse to fix it. They been made aware of this problem. This is unfortunate because it hurts the sale and buying of homes with this wrong boundaries. That’s why they only get a two star. Other sites have the right boundaries. They give some reason that makes no sense. Greenfield is way bigger then the boundaries that Zillow has posts. Even when you expand the map it still doesn’t show the outside homes that are not in the boundaries. Realtors, Investors, Buyers, Sellers be aware. How many other outlying areas they are not including in a towns boundaries? Unfair treatment for the homes that are not in their WRONG boundaries- theses homes get looked at because people are aware of them.

Bad, bad data…. If you’re actually trying to BUY a house, Zillow is very limited in it’s effectiveness. Yes you can scan a wider area, and you can sort by criteria. The problem is you’re probably going to find a whole slew of houses that are listed as “for sale“ when in reality they have been off the market for months and months. I’ve been trying to use Zillow for the past three months, and I keep submitting information to them letting them know which houses are no longer on the market, and it’s pretty clear they don’t care to update their data. All this leads to a truly frustrating experience where you end up pulling up the same houses over and over again only to find out that they were already sold and closed upon 3 to 4 months earlier. It’s amateur house porn, nothing more. Use it for that and you’ll probably enjoy it. Try to do anything legitimately productive with it and you’ll find it to be a substandard application.

Life changing app. We were up late one night looking at homes in an area that we had been watching for awhile. We didn’t have a realtor and we were not pre approved. Homes in this area that we liked usually have an offer within hours of listing. Much to our surprise the exact home we wanted was on Zillow. We contacted Zillow the next morning to tour the home with their recommended realtor. We made an offer that day and was pre approved that same day through a lender Zillow recommended. We close tmro. This whole experience has been incredibly easy. Our realtor is amazing and our lender was knowledgeable and easy to work with. We have owned 2 homes in the past. Both experiences were stressful and a headache. With Zillow this was a breeze. Thanks Zillow. You have changed our lives.

Buggy/annoying app ever.. This app is okay for the most part as it very useful and provides good information about what on the market and info on apartments/House though more features need to be added and as well as increase in customizing when save or looking through a list. One big bug that seems to stay with this app for what ever reason is ((when you are looking through then list and go click on a house or whatever and while your looking through the pictures or information and then click back the the list page and then go to press to see another house the app just doesn’t work you can’t get to the page of the house you click on so you have to click map or exit out and so if you where far down a list it’s very annoying as you have start back all the way up on the list and then swipe down to find whatever place your were trying to look up.)) so if they fixed that and the fact the app just randomly shuts downs down and closes you out for whatever reason. 🤙

Great but needs distance from location added. I love Zillow and they have a nice app, draw on map features, notifications, and you are getting about as fast as RedFin for new market listings. My only complaints are the following. 1.) most of the time the push notifications for new houses deeplink me to a blank page. I have a 7 running the latest and greatest OS and have my apps on auto update (I’m not the idiot who thinks their app should work when it’s 100 or even 1 version behind). 2.) not so much an issue as a nice to have, the distance from current location on the listing page would be amazing to have.....maybe add that to your roadmap :) Trulia has this but Trulia also notifies you weeks after a house hits the market, so they are not really good for anything other than showing you the houses you could have looked at had you known about them.

Lack of customizability and no customer service. The ability to control information about your home that influences estimated home value is really limited. For example, you can select comparable homes, which has a huge effect on home value. However, Zillow also selects homes and you cannot see all the homes on this list nor remove homes that seem to be a poor fit. I would recommend not using this feature. After my first go at picking comparable homes, Zillow’s estimate for my home dropped by $50,000 from a number that was similar to my taxed property value. Hopefully this does not harm my ability to sell in the future. Which brings me to the biggest thumbs down on Zillow, there is no customer service to troubleshoot problems. There is a location for requesting feedback, but after 8 months of waiting for a reply I conclude that it is a purely tokenistic feature that is not actually manned by anyone. Ergo Zillow wants you to use their device but don’t actually care if you are satisfied.

It’s okay. I use the Zillow app to search for apartments to rent. It’s an okay app, I use it frequently, but there are a few features that would make the app much more helpful: 1. More options for filtering by square footage. Right now, the filtering is in 250 sq foot increments. There’s a huge difference between a 500 sq foot apartment and a 750 sq foot apartment. This has made my apartment search much more difficult - I need an apartment that is at least 600 square feet, but not necessarily 750. Most apartments in my city are around 500, so I have to look through a ton more apartments to find what I’m looking for. 2. You can’t save apartment listings if there is more than one unit available in a building, which is really annoying. I have found some apartments I’m interested in but have multiple units, so I can’t save them to my list, making them really hard to find again later. 3. It would be nice if you could “hide” a listing. There are some buildings I’m simply not interested in. I would like the ability to hide them from showing in my search. This is especially annoying because when you click on a listing of just one unit, it fades on the map afterwards, so I know not to click it again. However, if there’s multiple units in a building, the marker does not fade, and stays looking as if you didn’t click it.

Great, But Fix the Schools Filter!!!. I love this app! I use it all the time, even if I am driving around and see a nice house for sale. I can use the Current Location to look up the house. My HUGE problem is that the Schools filter does not work. It's there to be able to look for homes near schools with a certain rating, from 1-10. I always set the Schools up as a filter, to weed out homes that are not near good schools. Well, it doesn't work. I still end up eliminating and Hiding houses that don't match the criteria. Not only does it not work, when you select Only Show Houses that Meet this Criteria, the amount of house listings you get gets HIGHER!!! And the schools near to these additional homes have lower ratings!! How exactly is that possible? It's supposed to filter homes OUT, not add ADDITIONAL homes! It's infuriating. You gotta fix it. Or just take off the filter at all!!

2 major flaws in Zillow costing it 2 stars. Zillow is a fairly good app and has many advantages over it’s sister app Trulia. Zillow could easily be a five-star app except for two major flaws. Flaw number one is the open house feature. On Zillow the open house text does not provide a live link to your calendar. This is where Trulia has a huge advantage. On Trulia the open house text has a live link which immediately and simply posts the open house into your calendar. This is a tremendous time-saving feature which Zillow is sorely lacking. Flaw number 2 is the directions feature linked to the map function. Zillow is far inferior to Trulia in this department. In Trulia if you simply tap on directions it gives you very clear driving directions that will take you right to the house that you want to view. In Zillow attempting the same basic task does virtually nothing. All things considered Trulia wins this battle even though barring those two functions Zillow is a far better app.

Unhappy/disappointed…. Very disappointed with this app! This is what one realtor said to me today… Yes, 630 is low, as we usually get 700 plus. Also, the income numbers don’t work, as the rule of thumb is income to be 3x the sum of the rent plus utilities . That would be about $6000x 3= $18,000. We’ve had two doctors there for five years and they do indeed have those numbers. You wouldn’t even be half that . Then earlier in the week I contacted a realtor to see a year round rental. She sent me a message. We were able to set up a time and a date. The next day she canceled. I sent her another message saying I was desperate and could we set up another time. She replied back say…sorry I can’t help you in the time frame you need. I just needed to secure something by September. I sent her another message a few days later. She replied back, sorry it’s been rented! About a month ago I was supposed to meet a realtor at a rental to look at it. He never showed. I called him no answer. I called back and left a message. Not even a phone call or a text message the next day from him. Rudeness!

PRESSURED FOR PREAPPROVAL THEN COVID BULLING. I sent notice through the app I wanted to see a home. After being drilled on that process of financial info I received a text was I interested in buying ? Yes. I unchecked the Need financing box when submitting my notice of interest. I’m a private person. I did pay attention that the listing did not mention Pre-Approval Only ! The text also asked my name. Then a call came through immediately said: THIS CALL IS BEING RECORDED he announces the Agents name at said time a 3rd call is patched in. WAIT A MINUTE DO I NEED MY ATTORNEY PRESENT ?! I refused the conversation giving the agent my number having her call me. She does the conversation immediately goes to are you PreApproved ? Do you have financing ?! Not what time would you like to see this home ? When I told her that was my business she made it a bully move and said it was a Covid regulation Excuse me to be PreApproved ? WATCH OUT PEOPLE ZILLOW AND THEIR AGENTS ARE RECORDING YOU............ WHY ? The same house is listed at many other real estate company’s. This is the truth no recording needed !!

Needs more support! If you make a typo it is impossible to correct!. I absolutely live Zillow overall! My only complaint is that if you accidentally type anything wrong on the profile it is impossible to correct even if you are lucky enough to speak with the verification team! They will always refer you to customer support... I also am not a fan of the Zestimate as it always seems to lowball the actual value of the house without taking into consideration the upgrades like lot premiums, builders, finishing work, etc. I also wish they had a furnished selection for buyers who are looking for furnished homes! I’m also finding it impossible to add photos even Though I paid a Zillow certified photographer… With no way to upload the pictures it’s a waste of money.

Syed Hussain. I cannot emphasize our gratitude to Syed for his assistance in finding our home. In addition to finding ourselves amidst this current chaotic housing market, we were on our third realtor and we did not have high hopes for finding one that was right for us. Upon meeting Syed, he made the same promises that the previous two realtors had made. Despite the fact that we were exhausted and weary of realtors’ promises by this point, we were pleasantly disproven! Syed has been nothing less than amazing! He is so professional, attentive, understanding and beyond helpful; above all, he is in the business for his client. I have found this to be the most important aspect of the experience. Thank you, Syed for not only restoring our faith, but being there through a very trying time and helping us to shoulder the weight of it all!!

Useful but lacks essential info. Zillow is my go to website, but Trulia and Redfin are serious competitors. In abscence of some basic info, like surface area, or sewer utility, focused searching is very limited. This also limits the accuracy of Zestimate. Also, limited is the demographic info that Trulia provides. Integration with FEMA /GIS data would complement the info and make it a one stop shop. Another missing feature is commute calculation, although the delineating of a travel distance area is nice. This doesn’t synchronize with the desktop version however. It’s nice that we have a street view, but we often need to get the bird’s eye view to see beyond the street level; is there a railroad running behind the house, or a chemical plant we need to know about? Another flaw is the lack of sychronization of saved houses between desktop and mobile versions. Also, the sellers should provide info we need to know before wasting our time visiting a house: how old the roof, appliances, cesspool, sewage etc, and not allowed to claim wood flooring instead of laminate. Particularly annoying is lack of apartment or house surface reporting, often misleading in the case of buildings. It would be nice to be able to delete a house from the result of the search that we are definitely not interested in, especially if the number of finds is too large and cannot limit y using the usual search terms.

Trolls. There is a lot of trolls or fake listings what you can tell I wanna house looks like it’s computerized or if it looks like too good to be true not even the price Chyna range and I’m talking like the picture itself and then you go to the next picture or the next house I need love exactly like the other house except it’s a different color it looks like somebody like just printed a picture right there or you get on it and click on a house to look at it and it has no pictures it only has one picture of the front of the house oh I feel like Zillow should have somebody or a team of people who go through Zillow daily and different parts of the states and we doubt those fake listings so people aren’t getting scam through your site because not everybody is knowledgeable about being scammed andHowever I have seen a couple it says not all credentials are verified but yeah it’s still there y’all should delete him delete them that looked a little sketchy and it said not all credentials are verified or something like that be aware of scam

Needs LOTS of work & real customer service. Zillow needs better customer service for issues on the app or page. Their responsiveness to emails is slow & generic. A phone number with an actual person would be a decent start. I’ve reported several issues, but then have to wait days for a response, & then start all over. Also their for sale by owner FSBO listings are VERY difficult to see/find the actual OWNER’s contact info. It defaults to sending interested buyers to agents- which defeats the purpose of trying to cut out middlemen to reduce costs for both buyers & sellers. In a FSBO listing, the owner’s info should be predominantly displayed & EASY to click on to contact the owner. This is not the case. I have an issue with the map location; two homes are on top of one another - which covers up the other home & it’s info. Can’t get another to address the issue. Additionally, the “saves” counter isn’t operating properly- which can affect the home’s sell price since homes with more saves & interest receive higher offers. Lastly, the 3/D app has to be used in real time on w internet or strong cell service. One should be able to add 3D or panoramic photos in either Zillow app from the photos/ cell ph camera vs taking them & uploading them in real time. There isn’t internet nor a cell signal in our lake home on the side of a mountain which means I cannot post panoramic photos - even though I have them on my phone in my photos.

Love It, but make a “Hide Listing” option!. I love Zillow and have been using the app for years. Both houses I’ve purchased were found on Zillow pretty quickly after it hit MLS. Won’t give five stars only because I see every house that hits all my filters, even if I don’t want to see it anymore or I’ve seen it over and over again. Sometimes, after browsing for awhile, I don’t remember that first picture. I’ll end up looking at a house several times that I’ve already counted out in my head based on what I’m looking for. I wish there was a button for hiding a listing. We can favorite a home to get notifications on its updates but why is there no option to hide a listing? There are criteria that you can’t filter by when searching that people consider when looking at homes. Just want to make that a little easier to weed through!

Former Realtor. I have the utmost respect for good Realtors helping clients buy or sell a home. They work hard and have expertise that most people don’t have. Zillow helps Seller’s listings for both agents and for those who choose to sell on their own. Although not as immediate as the local MLS, it gives buyers and sellers some ideas about and access to the current market. MY BIGGEST CONCERN: comparable sales given should not go back to previous “ years”. 3-6 months of comparable sales is the farthest back to compare sales. Professionals ( Realtors, Appraisers ) will only use RECENT sales for comps. Your sight shows sales too long ago. ALSO, many recent sales are not being shown. I know of at least 6 recent sales by the house we have listed that are not showing up. These issues cause inaccurate “zestiments” and give inaccurate market data to buyers. Also, assessed value can never be used to ascertain MARKET value. Thanks.

School districts in is hit or miss. I really love this app and website. It’s a great research tool. I use it multiple times a day. However, I hate the fact that many homes will show on the map for one school district but when I google the address because something doesn’t seem right (cost doesn’t match for the area, street name in ad doesn’t match street name on map, posting says one school district but it’s placed on the map in a different district, etc.) I don’t know how people are able to do this. Or if it’s intentional or a glitch. But I find it extremely frustrating when searching for housing. I have children and am looking for a place to live in certain school districts. I can’t ever trust that a house is actually where it says it is in the app. This is causing a lot of side research and back tracking on my part to verify all the addresses through additional sources...... which is not only time consuming, it’s annoying!!!! Please correct this!!!

Lots of false information. I get lots of notifications indicating dramitic price reductions. Upon investigation if almost always turns out that the lister has reduced the acreage just as dramatically. The taxes and some of the pictures listed are reflective of the previous acreage. I informed them of this yet I still am getting notifications informing me of these bogus price changes. What good is the app if the information is false? Notifications are ineffective as they do not conform to the preferences you have set, for example you are looking for a home with 25 acres and you will be sent market reports showing three 1/2 acre homes. How many times will you waste your time before you stop looking at them. It is easy to stop notifications but I have not seen how to adjust these reports. Lastly, the lot lines would be a great help except that they are wrong half the time. When there are multiple lots, almost always on vacant land and when the real estate agent lists and address that is different than google’s it would be relatively easy to compare this information when the agent is entering the information.

Great....but sometimes inaccurate. I like Zillow. I am retired....but my wife still works, so once she retires, we will move out of western Massachusetts, to somewhere closer to the New England coast. So, most of my searches for our retirement location is focused near the coast from Rhode Island north to Maine. I have found many, many properties that answer to our criteria, but all too often, the location on a map or address doesn’t match the actual listing.....with the location on the map to be in wetlands or out in the water! I have also found all too often, the listed price is incorrect. Caveat emptor.....due diligence....and all that, but it seems at time that quality control is lacking. Other than accuracy problems, Zillow is a good “starting point” when looking at properties.

Help. Dear Zillow Thanks for you awesome website... love it! However one request please.. can you take a second look at your Zestimate for a property I have listed? There are two other properties “Identical”! One sold in the same building the other is in a building 100 yards away. You can see Your two Zestimates here at this link if you look at the stats and pictures they are literally Identical built by the same builder. You have Zestamates for the following... 4403 Marina Villa Dr @ 836,000( listed at 875,000) 8402 Marina Villa Dr @ 813,000 ( that sold @ 839) 8304 Marina Villa Dr @ 570?????( this is the same unit same building as 8402... I’m guessing your using old sales numbers to calculate your Zestimates.. While I bought this years ago at a great price... I needed to do a complete renovation.. the market has obviously improved... All three of these units are on Hawks Cay @ Duck key... all are the same size.. All three bedrooms... All have Cathedral ceilings and are water front... all have amazing views... could you please consider rectifying this? Ps when you put in comparable you don’t even include these Identical units? Could that be changed as well they are absolutely Identical! Thank you for your consideration! Jim Grady

Can’t open rental applications/background checks. I use Zillow to list my homes for rent. I have been very successful with that, both in my business rentals and my personal home to receive contact information and “leads”. Over the past 15 years, I have used the same old rental application that can be purchased at Staples and have done my own follow up on the information provided. This week I asked a potential tenant to complete the Zillow application and submit it online. They paid Zillow for their application fee/background check/credit history and I cannot open any of them. I’ve sent several help desk requests to Zillow and have heard nothing back from them. I explained the situation to the customer and she was kind enough to fill out my old school application so I can do the work on my own. I’m disappointed with the app, and the follow up from Zillow.

Poorer usability with new updates. I’m not understanding the purpose for some of the new feature changes in recent updates. Splitting out the home search with the Agent Listings versus Other Listings is a poor user experience in my opinion. As a house hunter, it doesn’t matter to me personally whether an agent or owner is listing the property. If it does, that should instead be a filter. Having to move areas and select both tabs each time is tiring. Now, it seems the satellite view functionality was pulled. Why?? I have always used it in my search because it helps so much to see the neighborhood a house is in, as well as how close together the homes are, what kind of trees or green belt is near the house, etc. I don’t care for the hybrid landscape view (or whatever it is called), so it just makes it more annoying in my map search (insert sad face). Improved usability should be the goal, and I’m not seeing it unfortunately.

No Satellite View, Map is empty grid, Can’t Hide properties any more. I used to absolutely love Zillow and I used to consider it a 5-Star app. I especially loved the Satellite Aerial View of properties and I hate that it was replaced with the completely unhelpful Street View. The Satellite View was what kept me from even looking at competing apps. I also loved the ability to Hide properties that I wasn’t interested in. Now, however, I too often get Error messages whenever I attempt to hide a property, and properties previously hidden now reappear in all subsequent openings of the app as if never hidden. Also, the Map View is now terribly inconsistent in whether or not it works. Too often I get an empty grid showing, instead of the map I need. This seems to happen constantly on iPad with the new version (no Satellite view) although my iPhone app (an older version which still has Satellite View) still works fine. I still love the ability to easily go to the Tax Collector website to get accurate information (for those counties which are publicly accessible) Please go back to Satellite Aerial View instead of, or in addition to, Street View. And please fix whatever glitch causes the map to instead appear as an empty grid. Once you fix the glitches and return to Satellite View, I’ll be happy to give a 5-Star rating (assuming no other serious glitches turn up).

Zestimates are gaming the system in favor of Zillow owned homes. You guys are verging on criminal with some of your practices regarding how you determine zestimates, that people take as a source of truth. You have estimated the value of your Zillow-owned home higher than my home that I was selling right next door. You made no updates to the home you own and it’s over 100sqft smaller than ours. Our home, on the other hand, is larger, corner lot, and has multiple updates in the home including new flooring, quartz countertops, etc. I’m sure you guys will respond and tell me there’s nothing wrong with what you’re doing, but you know there is if you really look at it critically. You’re having your cake and eating it too, which is why you shouldn’t be able to dictate the market, while buying and owning homes. Or you’ll just take down my review because it hurts your image as a company. I forgot to mention that the house you bought had ALWAYS been “zestimated” below ours UNTIL you (Zillow) bought it, which just shows you how terrible you are

Disappointing. The app is an absolute wreck — you’d think for how popular Zillow is, they would have sorted out the issues by now. I’ve been using this app for months and it constantly freezes or completely crashes. It’s also incredibly frustrating that the viewing history sporadically gets wiped for no reason (a random selection of the houses previously viewed and grayed out all randomly un-gray as if you never viewed them.) HOA filter has disappeared in the last few updates. We should be able to filter *out* pools, filter max property taxes, and filter how many garage spots (not just if a garage exists.) Should have flood zones in app. And we shouldn’t have to click all the way into a listing to be able to swipe through the photos. It’s crazy that these still aren’t features for arguably one of the biggest house-searching platforms. One thing that they get right is in-app street view, so 2 stars for that.

The sign of great service is not just remembering what I like. …but also what I don’t. Home buyers in a hot market want to be constantly up-to-date on new listings and changes in the ones they like. Zillow is easy to use, and makes it easy to identify properties i might like from a distance. It’s equally easy to identify the ones I don’t like And I wish Zillow let me flag those so they could be filtered from maps, results and updates. In a similar vein, the growing list of “time share” homes is a real annoyance. 99% of people who want to buy a place don’t want to buy it with 5 strangers and move twice a year. The App should ban and remove those listings until they develop technology to separate them from the rest. Until then, real estate agents will keep using that gap and Zillow’s to market these rarely-used solutions, and annoy most of Zillows users when they do.
