Fun enough. It’s too easy for me I need it to be a bit more challenging. Perhaps if I kept playing it would build in difficulty but I don’t do ads. If there’s no way to pay for no ads I will not keep playing a game.

Not worth it. There are two major downfalls of this game. First, if I’m playing cryptograms on my phone, I shouldn’t have to select every single cell to type in the letter that I know is correct. The beauty of playing a digital version of this game vs. paper is that entering a correct letter should mark all of those letters in the puzzle. Instead, playtime is padded by making you enter every single letter of a puzzle. Second, ads. There are ads before you start the level, there’s an ad in the middle of the level (which is extremely terrible since that play time is already padded), and there is an ad after the level. This could have been great, but it fails in two very big ways.

Lose the ad breaks. I understand paying for playing by watching ads, and I’m willing to do that... Just not in the middle of a game.

Morning ritual. I play every morning to get my brain going. When is the month of May daily challenge going to come out?

Solid game with a chance to be 5 stars!. I’ve been enjoying the ad free version of Cipher Master for some time now and wanted to share some feedback -it’s frustrating to pay for an ad free version of an app and still get ads every 5 games to play some “rare” level -every time I click the “rare level” I get 2 popups to check my internet connection and then it clears and starts playing a 30 second ad -there’s nothing really rare about the rare levels except you make me watch an ad for them. Unless I’m missing something. -overall, nice job with the app the ux is clean

Way too easy. They give you several letters to begin with and then tell you who said the quote. By the time I’ve filled in the letters they’ve given me, I’ve solved the puzzle because the quotes and idioms are iconic: Neil Armstrong’s “One small step for man” and Forest Gump’s “Life is like a box of chocolates” are not challenging. Just know common sayings and quotes and you don’t need to use any logic whatsoever. Also, they tell you when you’re wrong, so you can’t play around with different configurations until you get it right. This is not an app for people who like solving cryptograms.

Major problems. If you’re gonna have a daily challenge, please make sure it works. Every time you click on a daily challenge, an error of no Wi-Fi pops up because it doesn’t Work . With the game to be 13+ there are extremely hard levels in this game. No way someone would know a painter from the 1800s. Finally, there is only 101 regular lowest with the addition of what they call rare puzzles, but you have to watch a ad in order to access those levels

Ad overload and Understatement. This game used to be a fairly interesting game. Now is has diminished to a VEHICLE FOR 2,000,000 commercials. Commercial, commercial, commercial, commercial, commercial, commercial, commercial. I would give it a zero but that isnt an option . Update: CYRILLIC ads at that! Sorry. Don't speak or read Russian. Don't plan on it.

Out of control ads. The game started out being so much fun, the longer I played the less playtime I got and the more ads popped up. I quit playing today because I would put in 1 or 2 letters and then I would have to watch an adthat lasted for 1 minute or longer. Also these ads won’t just play and then go back to the game. Oh no, they demand to be interacted with to move on. It’s so frustrating. I refuse to give this game one more second if my time. I wish everyone would do the same so these companies quit having these types of ads.

Love this game. I gave 5 stars for having the title of topic so we know what to guess about the subject the other games like this don’t have that and it’s full view not the other games have that either love it

Fun game. This is a good game, but it would be better if it didn’t have so many ads popping up. Just too many ads.

Language. Your game is ok. It is very well thought out. I’ve just started playing But I have one minor complaint. It is obvious that English is not the first language of the people who write it. Case in point kventin Tarantino. I will continue to play as long as it doesn’t get too bad I would like to give it 5 stars but the grammar is something that needs to be addressed

Not opening. Game was working just great until yesterday when it froze up. I tried closing the game out and opening it up again but now the game won’t even open. I like the game but if it doesn’t even open anymore then it’s a zero on my scale of worth. For reference, all my other apps work and I am playing on an iPhone 11pro. Also, my rating will change depending on whether the issue is fixed (⬆️) or not (⬇️).

Fun but the Ads. Great game but the ads are ridiculous and there is no way to even buy out of the ads, and they pop up several times per round. Extremely frustrating

Too many ads. There are too many pop up ads when you are in the middle of playing the game. Deleted the app since it is so frustrating playing then get an ad!

Adaholic. I’d give this game 5 stars but the pop up ads drive me crazy. An ad before the game starts, ads popping up while you’re playing, ad after you finish. Geez way way way too many adds!

Cryptogram Words. Fun game but way too many ads that takes the enjoyment out of. Will probably give it up for that reason.

Stopped working. The game is fun and I’ve loved logic puzzles and cryptograms my whole life. Ads are kind of a pain but you can pay to remove them so there’s that. However, I got to level 101 and when I tried to do that level the button greyed out. So I closed out of the app, updated it, and now I’m stuck on the title screen and it just loads forever. I can no longer play it at all for some reason.

Ads. If you could get past all the dumb ads this might be pretty challenging. You have some glitches in the game too if you pick A letter is won’t light up blue unless you tap it hard and then when you chose a letter from the box it will change it to make it wrong so you have to watch another ad again. Then the energy points if we can’t say no thank you then why put out there. It makes you take it then another back to back ad. Smh

So much fun. I only gave it 3 stars because there are way too many ads. In the beginning, in the middle and of course at the end. That is my only issue with this game. It’s a great game.

Daily puzzle. Not very good with fixing or updating the app. Daily puzzle has been broke for a month. Now I’ve not even able to play at all the past few days. Just spins at loading.

Ads. Wish the ads only popped up before and after a game. It’s annoying when they pop up during the games.

Did love this game, once. This was my game of choice, but after the last ‘fix’ it does not recognize any WiFi, and does not let me go any further. I’ve turn my phone off, checked everything on the phone, nothing has changed but the latest update. Time to move on

Ads. Far to many ads I get one every time I click on the next level and one pops up in the middle of each level it’s extremely annoying and frustrating to me while I’m trying to think and have fun on a game

Game won’t load. I loved playing this game and tried to play again after about a week of not playing and now it won’t open at all. I’ve tried to force it closed and reopen it with no luck, I’ve tried to clear the cage with no luck and have tried to restart my phone with no luck. I was very high on the levels but extremely irritated that I can no longer play it because it simply will not load.

The same rare level keeps coming up. I love this game. But for over a week, the same rare level keeps popping up even though I’ve solved it multiple times. It’s the one about the Wet Monday Polish tradition.

Can be fun. Enjoy the game but have it lockup on over three loads. Can load and play then it just stops loading later on. Must delete the app and reload and start over with the scenes each time. After three it is not willing to reload now just is always locked. Am sorry as when it works it is fun!

Great Game - needs update!. I love this game and play every day. However, since May 1, there are no new daily puzzles. I’ve resorted to going back in time to play previous months.

Too Many Ads. This game actually could be enjoyable. Unfortunately it has more ads than play time. Of course I expect ads. Its how companies generate income. But this game has more ads than playtime. DE-LETE. Could’ve so good but you got greedy.

Was good til it wasn’t. Was working great. I played every night. Then suddenly it stopped working. No updates were available, rebooted system. Even deleted and reinstalled app. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Excessive Ads!!. I love this game, but there is an ad before and an ad after (which is fine). Then there are 3 to 5 or 6 interruptions during the game with ads! That is way too excessive. I will probably continue to use this game, but please try to eliminate some of the “coffee breaks”. I have already finished 107 games and have had it for about 2 weeks

Game DOESN’T WORK AS INDICATED!. Too many ads disrupting gameplay. Hints not working intermittently. Sweeper hint not working PERIOD. game is scatterbrained & not well thought out as most are categorized. They claim game doesn’t stick so you are able to place letters easily. THIS IS A BLATANT LIE! In addition; they make it difficult to contact them because you MUST USE “MAIL” & cannot use whatever email YOU CHOOSE TO USE, IE: yahoo or google mail! Not worth my breath to explain all that is essentially wrong with this game. Save your breath & your time. Try a different cryptogram game!

Not a keeper. This game is actually better than similar games. The letters are larger than average and you seldom hit the wrong space or type the wrong letter. That’s the good news. Bad news is the ads, which is what spoils so many games. I expect an ad between puzzles. Fine with me. I expect ads to buy back in if you make too many mistakes. Also fine. In fact that’s better than burning through boosters or whatever you need for a redo. But I get one or two ads right in the middle of a puzzle. That’s where they lose me. Too bad. It would have easily been five stars if it didn’t interrupt the puzzles. There are many competing games that do just fine with one ad per level and one ad to buy back in.

Ads do NOT follow app & phone settings. I have sounds off in this app and have set a focus which mutes all sounds. But about half of the ads play sounds anyway! No matter how much I like cryptograms, this behavior is unacceptable.

Was Fun Till It Stopped Loading. I play games to earn points for some apps. This game was offered up to earn points to certain levels. Well it’s been a week now since the last time I played daily. I’ve been trying every day to play more to get to the last 3 levels required to earn points. Needless to say the game no longer loads. I’ve tried countless times to submit a ticket via their website in help and that to doesn’t work. Again I’ve tried countless times to submit the ticket but it doesn’t go through. I keep getting this error message “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later”. I’ve tried via other WiFi servers as well as using cellular data and nothing happens. With the game not loading I’m losing points. I can’t uninstall and reinstall because I was playing as a guest. Therefore if I uninstall I lose my progress and have to start from scratch. But then it will show I can’t earn points for playing as well because it was previously downloaded. Please fix this issue so I can proceed to complete my last 3 tasks. I am at 440 +/-. I can’t see my user ID #, because game won’t open period. Just keeps trying to load with no success. My issue is the reason for such low ratings. Otherwise it could have been higher. As I was really enjoying the game too. And no it’s not my phone having issues cause all my other apps are working perfectly.

Fun and brainy. Please think about rewarding us with a free clue after 10 or 12 solved puzzles. It's a bit of a drag to stop and watch an ad just to get help. Hence the 4 stars. Otherwise good game!

No new daily levels in months. This game is great but there haven’t been daily levels since April 2025, I don’t like the normal gameplay, only the daily levels so I haven’t been able to play this game since then which is sad because it’s the best game like it that I have been able to find

Daily games 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻. Love the game and used to play it daily until the daily games went away. First the daily games weren’t being updated since the beginning of May and now it’s completely unplayable. After trying to access the daily game it constantly says to check my internet connection. There is nothing wrong with my connection but I still can’t access the daily games. Very disappointed- it used to be one of my favorites. Please fix the daily games!

Way too many ads. I played this game for maybe 10 levels or so before I deleted it. There was an ad between every single level and sometimes it even interrupted the middle of a level to throw in another ad! You can’t even skip the ads or hurry them up like some games. And you can’t pay a small fee for an ad-free version. I love cryptograms, but there’s others out there I can play with less irritating ads.

Cool game, but interrupting ads in middle of game are frustrating. I really like this game, but am very frustrated by ads that interrupt gameplay. A couple of ads are expected between games, but interruptions during the game break up the flow and fun.

It stopped working. I had a lot of fun playing this game but on level 99 it stoped loading and wouldn’t let me play the next level unfortunately

Love the game and play it daily but they have taken half the month just to update ????. This game is my favorite game of all but I’m getting frustrated waiting for them to update the daily challenges… waiting 12 days for may and still no daily’s, what’s going on?

Great game but spoiled with ads often. Every 8 seconds advertisements appeared to spoil the game. There are far too many ads and I cancelled the game once, then came back for more punishing interruptions.i will delete it again as this many ads are annoying.

Once you pay it stops working. As soon as I paid the $4.99 to remove ads it no longer wants to open the app. I have tried closing out the app and going back into and it just stays on the loading screen. I made sure to look and there are no updates available. If you play this game I would not pay to remove the ads. It makes the app stop working.

Actually Fun. I’ve played other cryptogram games and find this one to be the best. My objective is to solve it, not struggle with small squares and miss a letter because I pointed to the wrong one. Aggravation isn’t enjoying. These squares are large, the phrases and proverbs are sometimes familiar and the game is both challenging and fun

Great App. The quotations are interesting and not too hard nor too easy. The puzzles keep my interest and solving them is rewarding.

Ads ads ads. If like looking at ads, if you like an ads interrupting a given level, then this is the game for you. I understand that the ads pay for the game but keep then between levels. I played this game for six levels then deleted it.

Okay only. Ads come every 5 minutes or so while solving the phrase….too many. Better if they came after solving.

Hoping this gets harder. The puzzles are soooo easy. I was hoping for more of a challenge. I’ll continue playing for a bit to see if they improve.

Fun and challenging. This game is a lot of fun, but there is one ad for Royal Empire that comes on OFTEN and it’s 113 seconds! You can’t do a thing for that time, which has made me close the game many times. Update - the ads have finally gotten the better of me. I’m deleting this app and looking for a different cryptogram game.

Bummer - 2nd chance is endless ads. The game is basically ok, HOWEVER if you select 2nd chance, you are subjected to endless ads. When you try again you get another ad, over and over again. I deleted the game.

It just wasn’t worth the trouble. I had it about 2 months and actually enjoyed it, but today I could get out of the commercials. I had to get out of the game several times. I give it sorry I have to leave.

Nice game, but…. It’s a great game, but you need to STOP with the “Ad Breaks”. Super annoying, and that you have no way to earn more hints without watching another ridiculous ad!

No Longer Opens. Game fails to load (I was on Level 427). Gets stuck on loading screen. Or, randomly freezes when in between levels. Disappointing given I liked the game. Device and App are up-to-date.

Numbers and chosen letters. The numbers under the blank spots should be listed on the side with the correct alphabet when correctly selected.

My Opinion. It’s fun! The historical facts and odd bits of info are a pleasure! Add more proverbs or wise sayings. I personally love “ words of wisdom”

Cryptography words master puzzle. It says there are many fun levels, I’m on level 12, and see no options for different levels. I do appreciate quick ads vs. the long long ones.

Wish there were challenges and ways to win awards. I love the large size of the tiles but I miss having no challenges or goals to work towards.

Cryptogram Review. You need a LOT of time to play a complete game , because you have to watch an advertisement every 5–10 seconds! It’s ridiculous the amount of advertisements in this game.

Major irritation!. I very seldom review anything. I liked this game for about 15 minutes! When I got to the first HARD puzzle there were several ads in the one puzzle!!! Enter 2 or 3 letters then an ad!!! Deleted it!
