bad set up. I love the concept of the game. And what I can play is really fun. On the larger boards, the purchase button and the hint button are over top of the corner clues so it's very hard to read them. Also, it doesn't rotate so on larger boards, you can only see sometimes a third of the board which makes it very annoying. A little more thought into the presentation should've been thought of. Also, I chose to pay to get no ads and when something happens and I have to have an ad it goes twice as long. I actually had time to heat the Keurig up and make two different cups of coffee. And shorter ads I'm willing to sit through them on ads that go towards two minutes. I do something else and come back later, so the ads are not really any use to the advertisers. I will keep playing the game and hopes that the programming is fixed.

Fun but needs some work. Overall I enjoy the game. However I deleted not until two big issues are fixed: 1. The ads appear all the time - if you just have the ads playing after you have finished the board, that would be fine. But the ads pop up when you open a board, after you’ve completed a move, after you’ve finished the board…it’s all the time. It’s very annoying to have few answers to enter and be in the middle of writing them when the ads pop up. Now you’ve lost your place of what you were doing. 2. The constant scrolling left and right when the board doesn’t fit on your phone screen. Was hoping users could have the option to either shrink the board to fit the screen or to rotate your phone to landscape to fit.

Good game. Could use some quality control.. Fun game overall. Puzzles are challenging but not so much that they can’t be figured out with a little thinking. But the attention to detail is not very high. In the “animals” puzzle, the clue stated “Rabbit can be found in Column B” but the entire B column was full. So at that point it was a guessing game as to where it actually was at. The Ads are extremely frustrating. Having the banner ad right below the Enter key when typing has led to multiple ads being opened. As well as the full screen ads that pop up mid game. I could understand after a puzzle or two, but mid level breaks the concentration so easily. Then the keyboard itself is not very responsive. Often times multiples of letters get inserted, or no letter at all. Which if not paying attention, leads to incorrect answers and a loss of lives. Also the layout is annoying at times. Having to scroll side to side incessantly to see answers doesn’t help. It’s harder to keep track of info that way. Being able to switch to a landscape mode would improve this aspect greatly. Good game. Could be great. But needs some help rounding off the edges.

Amazing game, hate the keyboard. I bought no ads so that isn’t an issue for me lol. I really like this game!! Lots of levels and very fun for puzzle lovers. However, and this may be an extremely petty issue that doesn’t seem a whole star worthy but to me it is, the keyboard is terrible. You can’t type at a regular speed. It doesn’t register all the buttons that you’re clicking. You have to type slower which bugs me a lot. If you type at a regular speed, a lot of buttons won’t be registered and you’ll misspell words. I know I should just slow down but when I know the answers in my head I need to write ‘em. It’s just an issue that bothers me so bad. Other than that, I really like it!!!!

Fun game,needs a bit. I’m on level 33 of this game now and really enjoying it. I did play about 3-4 games to see if I liked it before buying it. It is now formatted to the iPad for older reviews the mention that it didn’t. I do have some suggestions, questions. It has the large shopping cart and hint buttons on the lower portion of the squares. These make it difficult to read the lower squares without having to slide it back and forth. Please make them smaller and put at the top. There is a button to “pencil in” hints. This is worthless because after you leave the square the note disappears and doesn’t return. I had hoped it would be like the sudoku games where you can see your notes while figuring out what goes in which square. It doesn’t even show back up when you click on the pencil button again. Please fix those issues and it will be much better. You also need a way to earn hints. Many people, including me, don’t pay money in a game.

Fun game, one flaw. This game is so addicting! The ads are a bit annoying but not too big of a deal. One thing I would suggest the developers to consider is changing the criteria for losing a life when you make an incorrect guess; it is a little hard to type on the keyboard and easy to make typos and/or accidentally submit a guess preemptively, so I think making a requirement for guesses to be spelled correctly would improve the game a lot and make it a bit less frustrating! (i.e., a guess should not be counted as incorrect unless the word can be considered a genuine guess) Other than that, though, I love this game so much and would recommend it to anyone!

Great game but typo found and two suggestions. Love logic puzzles including this one but two suggestions 1) Add the ability to resize to allow viewing of full grid on iPad. 2) allow using other characters in notes Typo: in the solar system puzzle, clue in A2 says the previous 9th planet is in E4. This is a typo and should read E5. I had to waste a clue to discover the typo and the correct cell. Aside from those two issues, fairly easy game play but also thoughtful, but be careful with spelling. Hasty typing will only end in frustration as there is no autocorrect and correct spelling is important, don’t rush. Also, for those complaining about the ads. They are annoying but it’s to encourage you to buy ad free. Just pay to turn off the ads, it’s not expensive and someone’s time was invested to create the app, so throw them a few bucks as a thank you, it’s cheaper than a latte. And if you dont want to pay for the app, then don’t complain about the ads, it’s the only way they can get paid for their time. After I paid for the app, I haven’t seen a single ad, unlike some apps.

Love the game but…... I really enjoy the game but there are a few things that need to be changed in the format. First please allow landscape play on an iPad. It would enable you to see the whole chart. Second, please move the shopping cart and hint button to the top so they are outside the playing area. They totally cover the first and last cell of the last row that show on your screen so it’s hard to read the clues in those boxes. A lot of reviews complained about to many ads. I’m glad that you at least provide a pay option to turn them off. Many games have even more ads with no way of skipping them.

Some suggestions for better gameplay. Downloaded the game a few days ago and I’ve been having a blast. The amount adds don’t really bother me. If I was to make some suggestions I wish there was to make notes in the squares. Like for example two boxes can be X so if there was a way to note x in both boxes until you figure out which one, like how many sudoku apps do. Also wish there was a way to remove the clues that have been completed. Like say a clue says x is in A1 and after you put x in A1 the clue from the previous box disappears leaving the word by itself. Just some helpful suggestions for a better gameplay.

Love/Hate relationship w/ this game. So i absolutely love the concept of this game. It is challenging and fun and I often find myself getting lost in it. However, there are some drawbacks. You can not rotate your screen to see the game board better or all together. That becomes annoying after a while. Next, sometimes they want the singular or plural of a word and they will tell u… but often times they do not. I literally got the clue “what do the 50 stars on the U.S. flag represent?” I answered “states”. The correct answer “state.” Also they change the format of words depending on the level. Sometimes the answer will be “plane”, sometimes it will be “airplane” and that can be confusing… overall the concept is great but the bugs sometimes have me putting it down out of frustration

Too many ads!. This is an interesting game, but there are a couple of issues. The ADS - there are 2 for every clue you need; they are still there after paying for the ad-free version. If you get to the final answer and cannot figure out the clue or clues given and resort to using a hint, I guess the game fills in the answer, but there is no way to know because the game ends without showing the answer! Also, it would be great for the final puzzle grid with answers to stay on the screen when the puzzle is finished. And the ADS! Over and over and over during game play. I paid to have the ads removed from my game and my account was charged, but the ads did not go away. In fact, I think they multiplied. Don’t ask me to contact customer service about the ADS - because I have, with no result!

Good but there is a problem. I like the game. Its challenging and gets you thinking. I’ve alway loved puzzle games. The ads are a bit much but I watch shows in the background while playing so I just pay attention to that during the ad. I do have a problem with one of the levels. The transport level has an incorrect hint. In b4 the hint is that boat and trailer are in the same row or column of said cell, but trailer was in the one with no water transportation. I thought trailer was in the same row instead of column because the column had canoe, which is a form of water transportation. This was before I realize yacht was in the row, but because canoe is a water transportation I put trailer in the row but it was wrong. I finally put it in the column and it was correct. The hint needs to be different because the hint is wrong.

Too MANY ADS!. I agree with another rater. I would have given this 5 stars except for the overabundance of ads. I love logic games and word games and couldn’t wait to download and play but then after every other answer, an ad pops up and invariably the same Royal Match one. King Robert ads show up in every game I play so I am really tired of him. I have deleted games I just bought because of seeing him and that pathetic misogynist makeover game time after time. Of course they blitz you with ads so you will pay 6 dollars to not see them but I get games to enjoy them, not to be annoyed and manipulated. I prefer games where you can watch ads to gain something, like hints, extra lives, boosts etc.. not because you answer 2 questions in a row.

Just one request!. Love the game, it’s truly fun. But you know how games like sudoku have a little section for you to write possible answers before you have to “lock in” your answer? I would strongly urge a feature like that. If a hint says “column 2 words start with P”, then I’d like to have the ability to at least put the letter P in each of those boxes while I figure out other boxes. Or if a hint says something like “apple and carrot are in column 1”, then I’d like to write “apple or carrot” in each of those boxes so I can tell at a glance. Currently, if you try to put in a text without pressing enter, it will delete the word/text you put in. While I’m glad it didn’t penalize me for thinking it was a wrong answer, I’m also sad to see the lack of this feature. I feel it would be an extremely helpful addition. A zoom-out feature would be nice as well. :) Overall I still think it’s a great game. I just think it could have some additional features to improve the experience. (If I'm allowed to be greedy, I’d also love to see a “traditional” version, where instead of a life system, it doesn’t alert you when you answer each box, but only gives you one pass/fail at the end when you fill in all the boxes [similar to how sudoku has several modes: one where it alerts you each answer, and one where it won’t tell you until you finish the puzzle])

Incorrect. It’s a good and fun game that I enjoyed but level 6 (six) needs to be reworked by the game developers(and judging by these reviews so does many other levels). You have no choice but to use a hint when it comes to D1 and E1 because the clues are incorrect. I even took screenshots. The clue E5 gives you is that “Rabbit is somewhere in column B” which is impossible because column B was completely filled out when I got this clue so it left me just stuck. Finally giving up and using the hint it was shown that Rabbit was actually D1 which would leave other players completely unable to finish if they do not have hints to use like i did as you need D1 to complete the round. You should fix this asap!! And if possible I’d like the hint I wasted back due to your lack of comprehension on your own game.

Too many ads break concentration. Not fun.. The amount of ads is ridiculous. It would be fair to make me watch a full ad in between levels, if I make a wrong guess, or if I need a hint. But to constantly interrupt the game with ads is annoying and distracting. On top of it, it’s always the same ad with the crying baby, which just stresses me out. I wouldn’t mind paying something to avoid ALL of the ads, and it wouldn’t bother me if there were LESS ads and they were limited to times that aren’t breaking my concentration. But, due to the amount of ads, I’m out. They take all of the joy out of solving puzzles and it’s no longer fun. Unfortunately, I probably won’t check back to see if the problem has been fixed. I hope these developers realize they’re shooting themselves in the foot because they’re being greedy. It seems like every game I download lately is the same garbage. As a result, the only game I consistently play is one that I pay for. Which I’m willing to do because the developers have taken the time to create a quality game. On top of that, I don’t HAVE to pay, but it enhances the experience when I make the investment, so it’s worth it to me.

Too Many Vague/Absent Clues. I agree with several of the other reviewers here that the idea of this game is great, but the execution needs some work. As you get further through the levels, there are several puzzles where there are not enough cells with clues for you to make deductions about the remaining answers — or if there are clues for say “cell A1”, they are not revealed until you have used a hint or randomly guessed an answer to another cell that you needed the answer to “cell A1” to have solved in the first place. (If that sentence didn’t make any sense to you, then you have some idea of how frustrating the game can be 😆) Other clues are entirely too vague to be of any use. One clue in a puzzle about cards/card games just says “Find Deck”. That’s it. That’s the whole clue. I really hope the game developers take this feedback and that left by other reviewers to heart and smooth out these rough edges. The game would be really fun if they could figure out how to make the clues in this logic puzzle actually…logical.

Make the puzzles logical. This game is an awesome game and I’ve been enjoying it, but in a lot of the puzzles the clues are too vague and/or incorrect. I don’t play logic puzzles to just guess. It kind of defeats the purpose of a logic puzzle. I just got to the weapons level and it’s the most horrendous thing I’ve seen yet. You reach a certain point and there’s still a ton of empty boxes, yet I’m out of words to use and the only thing I have to go off of is one box is like a larger bow. Also the small blade clue was super unclear considering a large portion of the weapons were small bladed weapons and most of them didn’t even go in the column it said they would go in. Please fix the clues and then it would be a great game

Lots of clue errors. Really like this game BUT I’m having the same problems as other users. Starting around level 60, there are at least one clue error per level. For example it will say a term is diagonal from the cell but it turns out to be to the right. I paid $6 to remove ads but end up having to watch after losing lives because of errors. To move on I have to wait for it to offer a free hint (free hints might be a benefit you get after paying to go ad-free since I don’t remember getting them before purchase). Also, the shop & hint icons being on the playing field for the iPhone version might be necessary due to screen real estate, but it should not be that way on the iPad version. Also, the whole grid should be able to be viewed on the bigger screen along with an option to view in landscape mode. It’s a shame that the developers don’t fix these flaws since it’s the only logic game of its type. Would give it 5 stars if even a couple things were addressed (fixing clue errors is a must).

Great game. I LOVE the play of this game. It has become my current favorite. However, there are 2 things that I absolutely HATE about it. One is the frequency of the adds. They are constant, many many ads within the same game. I don’t think I’ve ever seen more adds in any game I’ve ever played. The other thing is the layout of the table. It’s too big to fit on the screen so you have to continually move it back and forth. Also, that shopping cart and hint icon sit right in the middle of two different cells and you can’t see what you’re typing there without again moving the table around. If these issues were fixed, I would definitely give a Five rating.

Good game, but.... You start the game on level 1 with 3 hints. As long as you're playing 3x3 levels, you're fine. But once you start playing 5x5 levels, you literally cannot finish most of them without hints. So you go through those 3 hints and then you CANNOT GET ANOTHER HINT WITHOUT WATCHING AN AD. So on nearly every 5x5 level, you're forced to watch at least one ad *just to finish the level*. Please consider making hints available to purchase or increase the number of hints that you can get by watching an ad. Or make it so that 5x5 levels can be completed without hints. This is honestly a fun alternative to traditional logic puzzles--a word Sudoku--and it's so frustrating to have to stop in the middle to watch an ad to get a hint to complete a level. I'm about to delete the game because it's so annoying.

Good game but frustrations. I play this on my iPad & enjoy it. The app doesn’t look like the pictures. The shopping cart covers A5 & the hint button covers E5. Because there isn’t a zoom in or out I have to drag back and forth to read the cells. It would be nice if the table rotated or had an option to see the whole table on the screen. I’m in the 100-levels. It would be nice if the tables varied in size. And lastly I’ve had to use a hint on the last cell a few times. When I use it, the screen goes automatically to the completed message. So I don’t ever get to know the answer. It is a bummer.

Addictive but quick sobriety. This is one of the most incredible puzzle-type of games that I have ever played!! HOWEVER… there needs to be some major upgrades. For instance - some grids get too large and it’s so tedious to have to continually scroll all over the screen. There needs to be a full screen with a zoom by touch feature. Need to either have voice (talk to text) option or dropdown menu - def all options all of the time. I WANT and enjoy the challenges, so the options should not drop off of a dropdown. This is because a fat-finger or accidentally not hitting the key all of the way - leads to losing “lives” and then… a ridiculous amount of time wasted in ads when my phone didn’t recognize a letter.

Good game could be great. It’s a great game, but the gameplay is not great. Typing each word individually is very annoying - for people used to swiping and therefore typing very quickly, it makes gameplay tedious, especially since any letter mistakes will count as a wrong answer and lose a life. A drag and drop word bank would be a huge improvement. It’s also a little annoying to have to continuously move back and forth around the screen to see the different parts of the game board. If those things were fixed I’ll be willing to purchase this game to play long term.

Stop Forced Ads. I downloaded the game from a mobile ad and that should have been my first sign. The game starts off with one ad every level, where the user is forced to watch 5 to 15 seconds of an ad before they can skip it. After progressing to only the 4th level the ads already started to become more spontaneous where they were occurring 2 to 3 times a level (while I was trying to play the game). It’s incredibly frustrating when a game that is as simple as this is just a pure money grab for the developers by placing forced advertisements so heavily in their game. Thought it was a cool concept, but now I realize that this company only cares about money and for a simple game that a high schooler could develop in an AP computer programming class. Hats off to you all, you are the bottom of the barrel!

Fix the formatting (and the ads). I like this game because it is challenging and I love logic puzzles. However, there are several things about this game that I do NOT like and/or believe needs to be fixed (ergo, I only gave it 3 stars). The first thing is the amount of ads. I get that you need to have ads for your sponsors, but that MANY ads that FREQUENTLY (i.e., as soon as I open a puzzle, every other time I guess either right or wrong, etc.) is a bit much. The second, and essentially the BIGGEST, issue is how the actual game is formatted. What I mean by that is that there are some puzzles that fit just fine on my phone screen, but for much larger puzzles, I often times have to scroll back and forth, which wouldn't be so bad if I could turn my phone landscape and play the game that way. Also, I tried playing this game on my iPad (since the app CLAIMED that it is iPad compatible), but it was only formatted to an iPhone screen (also, I still couldn't turn my iPad landscape for easier gameplay). If it weren't for those two issues, along with the fact that there's no way to get more hints except to PAY for them, I would give this game 5 stars. If these problems are fixed, then I will go back into the App Store and change my review.

DEAD ENDS!. I really enjoy playing this game especially after a days work. It’s fun and almost like going on a scavenger hunt. HOWEVER, I’m at lvl 154 and I’m at a dead end. I still have 9 boxes to fill but no clue to where the next word belongs. My biggest issue is that this happens often. I have to start guessing where the next word belongs. Which leaves me to no more moves and I have to sit through a minute of ads to get 1 more chance at guessing after my 3 strikes. There are already ALOT of ads while you’re playing the game to begin with. I also don’t like that you get a strike for misspelling a word. I have to check and double check that it’s spelled correctly before submitting. At least give a 1/2 strike for misspelling a word since I come to dead ends and have to make guesses. I’m giving it 4 stars because I really like playing this game BUT I do get annoyed when I come to a standstill.

Fun and Challenging except….. I love logic games and this one is rather fun. You have a grid and word puzzles to help you fill in the grid. You get 2 mistakes and on the third you have to watch an ad. Fine makes sense. But literally after watch the long ads I get an answer right and have to watch another ad. This is extremely frustrating. And sometimes when you’re playing and you’re getting everything right, you’re still watching an ad about every other answer. You can get hints for the puzzle by watching an ad which is also logical. You are doing something to gain a reward. But if I do that and then I get the answer right I’m forced to watch another act. There are so many ads in this game that it’s not even worth playing. If the excess ads were cut down and you just had to watch ads when you made mistakes or wanted extra clues, then the game would be worth it but at this point, I just wanted to delete it. And then there is the formatting. I get having to scroll for bigger puzzles on a phone screen but why can’t I even turn my phone. It is frustrating though the ads are more so.

Good game but needs some help. I enjoy logic puzzles and this one is fun BUT there are a few things that need to be addressed. The answer highlighting is one of them. In one, “camera operator” was an answer but only camera was highlighted, resulting in a loss of life. In another puzzle, “dress shirt” was highlighted as one when they were separate items, leading to a loss of life. Another area that needs improvement is when the keyboard is up, the tip button and whatever button is opposite on the bottom blocks part of the bottom cells so it’s difficult to see if you’ve typed correctly, as sometimes the keyboard doesn’t pick up on some taps, leaving out letters. That leads to a loss of life. I play on an iPad Air 10” screen so it would be nice to either play in landscape mode or to zoom in and out to see all of the puzzle at once.

Needs a couple of tweaks to be 5 stars. I love the concept of this logic puzzle game but a couple of tweaks are needed to make it awesome. First the ads are too much. After your first three lives, you only get one additional per ad. Which might not be a problem but there's too many times when there's gaps in the clue/logic that leads to 50/50 at best chance of getting the answer in the right box options. Usually it's more like a 25% chance. One huge additional problem is that there's no way to see the whole grid at once on my iPhone 14. This can lead to losing lives because I can't see the clue and the textbox at the same time and make a typo like not making it plural or spelling it incorrectly, depending on where the answer is going. It also make it harder to put parts of two different boxes' clues together to get a more exact answer. Please, please fix this. Conceptually, this is one of my favorite logic puzzle apps but the execution needs to be adjusted for iPhone (I can't speak for iPad or other generations of iPhones as I've not played the app on those.)

Still have to watch ads after purchasing!!. I purchased this game so I wouldn’t have to watch the numerous annoying ads that they throw at you!! However, what they don’t tell you is that after you purchase the game if you need a hint you must watch an annoying ad!!! If I HAD KNOWN this I would NOT have paid for this game!! You could at least give a couple of hints for free and then if a person needs more hints then make them watch an ad!!! ALSO now for some reason the hint buttons and the purchase buttons have moved from the top of the page to the center of two boxes making game play difficult!!! Please fix this or I want my money back!!!

The game is so fun. The game is nice. Logic puzzles are fun and the format of this one is pretty cool. It’s really not hard. But the game is rendered unplayable for me because every ad that comes up is for “Match Villa, Makeup ASMR.” And the ads are so gross and disgusting. And maybe that’s how this game encourages you to spend money to get rid of the ads. Which is just a gross practice if so and makes me just not want to play it. Which is unfortunate. I don’t want to be taken out of a fun harmless word logic game, to be shown animated videos of pus filled abscesses on someone’s back being ruptured. It’s disgusting. And this game gets 1 star simply because the ads are gross. But the gross ads are so bad that I just don’t want to play. And they certainly don’t make me want to spend money on this game to get rid of them. The game isn’t THAT great. Not everyone finds pimple popping satisfying. And not everyone is gullible enough to pay you to get rid of disgusting ads to play a fun, but sub-par game. 1 star and I do no regret it.

SO. MANY. ADS.. I know game developers have to be paid somehow, and I’m willing to sit through the occasional ad while playing, but the ads in this game are RELENTLESS. Either cut back on the frequency of the ads, or offer an ad-free option. Also, this is a logic game, meaning you should NEVER have to guess an answer — you should be able to deduce every answer from the clues. In the level I just played, there was a clue that said "Dill and Sorrel are somewhere in column E" and there were two cells open but there was no other clue about them anywhere on the board, so I had to guess and ended up losing a life because I guessed incorrectly. For someone who loves logic games, that’s just infuriating. And there were a couple other, similar issues in this level, which is unacceptable. This could be a five-star game — I really enjoy playing it in between the constant bombardment of ads — but I can’t recommend it until these issues are fixed.

Fun game but format is not good. I really enjoyed playing this game. The concept is challenging yet fun. But there are a few factors that will keep me from continuing (i stopped after lvl 6). 1. The format is not good for small phone screens (i play on iphone SE) and bad eyesight. The font is small and there isn’t an option to zoom in. Larger boards dont fit on the screen so scrolling is required. 2. The ads! I know ads are needed to keep games going but nothing annoys me more than ads that pop up in the middle of a level. During game play on level 6, i had to watch 3 ads !! To make it worse, you get only 3 lives (mistakes) then you have to watch another ad to get 1 life or start over. It’s very easy to make mistakes between the small font, the small keyboard, and all the scrolling. I watched 2 more ads on level 6 to avoid starting over. So that’s 5 ads for 1 level. And they were the same two ads. 3. Only 3 lives before having to choose between starting over or watching an ad. This may seem trivial but most games i’ve played offer at least 5 lives. So, this is a good game but is not fun to play due to the format and excessive ads.

Too many errors. As others have said, the ads were a bit much…but I did end ip buying the ad-free version because I do enjoy the game that much. However, there are entirely too many errors and flat out guessing for it to be a logic game as you get further into the levels. ALL the puzzles should be solvable by using the clues provided (most of them are). The clues should be clear enough that I shouldn’t have to use a hint because there’s several boxes revealed and not a single clue that lets me move forward in the puzzle. And I should never have to guess because I didn’t type the exact word they were looking for even though there’s no hint to clarify; such as using plane vs airplane or saying these 3 words are in x, y, and z boxes but never giving a single clue as to which is in which. It’s such a great game if you love logic puzzles if they’d only be a little more concise.

Too Many Ads !. Way too many ads like every five seconds and when your working on figuring out the clues and where the answer has to go a freakin ad pops up and they aren’t short ads either its just very annoying. Plus some of the clues answers could go into more than one cell so you either guess wrong and lose a life or have to use a hint or come back to that clue as the puzzle fills in…after watching annoying ads of course. I would have given this game 5 stars if it wasnt for so many ads. Usually a game will for a fee block ads but i don’t see this option nor can you purchase hints …nope gotta watch another ad like there’s not enough already.

Fun puzzles but annoying issues with interface. The puzzles are straightforward and fun, although sometimes the clues can be a little vague (and require guessing, which is stressful given that you only get three mistakes per puzzle - and it’s easy to make a typo that costs a life.) The interface ruins the experience for me, though. You are stuck in portrait mode and there is no zoom option, so you cannot see the whole board at once - tricky when a clue refers to a cell or column you cannot see. The worst, though, are the “store” and “hint” buttons that cover up two of the three word cells at the bottom of the screen. If you are working on the corner of the puzzle, these hide the word as you type and cover up the clues that might appear when you get the correct word. There are a plethora of ads - two or three will interrupt you mid-puzzle, and there’s another when you finish. That’s the price of “free” games - but the reason I deleted the app is the interface, not the repeating ads.

A mess. I really do like this game, but the issues make it frustrating. There are way too many typos for a puzzle game, like the amount of times I've seen "4rd" in this game is sad, and sometimes it means 3rd or 4th, so you just have to guess. Some of the hints are practically useless. Some levels cannot be solved without using the hint button/looking it up because the game doesn't offer you a way to. I also wish there was either a word bank or it took slight misspellings/other names for stuff because some people call things different names, and I don't want to replay the entire level again because I call "cinema" movies. Even there are ones where the answer could be multiple things, like one said it's a black bird- that can be a crow or a raven. It's just frustrating, and I wish it was polished more.

I like it. All the reviews are complaining about the ads and vague clues. The ads for me aren’t terrible. I’ve had some levels where I’ve had to guess or start over a few times because of poorly written clues or sometimes there is a word that doesn’t have a clue so you have to watch an add to get a hint to finish. Aside from that I actually really enjoy the game. I’ve made it to level 64 so far and I still enjoy playing. I have a super short attention span so if I don’t like I game or it’s unplayable from too many ads I quit playing almost instantly. I’m actually shocked to see so many people dislike it honestly

I want to love this game. I downloaded this game after seeing just one ad because I was fascinated by the concept. The game play seems reasonable. Other reviews are correct that the ads in the middle of puzzles break your concentration and make the game substantially more difficult. The thing that crosses the line beyond minor annoyance are the puzzles themselves. If the puzzle requires exact text in the cells, that text should be furnished elsewhere in the puzzle. Do not assume I’m going to correctly guess a vegetable similar to a pea (size? Shape? Color?), an instrument similar to an oboe doesn’t even have a reed, or fill in a different poker hand than that indicated in the clue. This changes it from a logic game to a guessing name. One of which I enjoy and the other which I do not. I will keep the game for a little while and watch for updates. Hopefully the puzzles can be improved and I can still love the game.

Not good on iPad. I wish I had played this a little more before deciding to spend the few bucks to remove the (very aggressive) ads. I like the concept of this puzzle a lot. But some grids are too easy. Maybe it will get harder? Also, it looks stupid on the iPad. You can’t play in landscape so I have to remove the keyboard to make it comfortable, and then I have to scroll around to see the whole puzzle. It could easily fit on the iPad screen in landscape. I also wish I knew I only had three hints before I had to buy more. I wasted one, but thought there would be ways to earn more. That doesn’t seem to be the case (at least so far). I’m fine spending the money to remove the ads on an otherwise free game, but I will definitely not be spending money on hints.

Just to vague. I love the game. But the further along I get the vaguer the clues get. To say dangerous predators are in a specific row that’s empty but never gives clues to what the predators are is bad. I feel like the puzzles are created by different people and whoever made the bad ones didn’t have anyone verify if they were even playable. And yes the ads are excessive and pop up at the most convenient times but you don’t have to watch them click the fast forward button and move on. My only other issue is the font size the longer the clue the harder it is to read. A zoom option that doesn’t require clicking on a button would be nice.

A scam!!. I usually never make reviews but this is just crazy. The people who developed this game most likely make their money from ads (because there are a thousand of them) and from customers purchasing extra hints (because you only get 3 hints for free). I made it to level 17 without using a single hint but at that point the level was unsolvable without it. I pretty much guessed where all the words should be because the clues that were given were so vague but by the time I got to the last box I had placed every word that was made available to me and there were no clues that could even tell me what the last box was supposed to be, so I used my first hint and the screen immediately went to an ad. After the ad finished the level ended and they never showed me what the last word was supposed to be making it impossible for me to have solved the puzzle on my own without using a hint. This game is a great concept but terrible execution!!

Ads and screen size…. I really, really like the idea of this app. It is a different twist on the typical logic problems where you mark an X or a checkmark. Many others have commented on the ads. It’s true. You watch an add to get a hint, and then when you try to use the hint, you have to watch yet another ad. Very annoying. My second comment is that I play on a decent sized iPad (10” or whatever, but not a mini), and the way the screenplay is - it doesn’t take up the whole screen of the device - there is still black space all around. It allows you to enlarge or decrease the app screen size, but even after enlarging it, you still can’t see the whole grid on your screen. I am constantly scrolling up and down and right to left to reread clues at look at previous answers. It makes it far more difficult to enjoy and just play. I would suggest to the developers that this is one of the biggest issues. If you could see an entire grid on the screen, it would improve the experience greatly.

so many ads. I understand that ads are needed for sponsorships for mobile games and thats how you make money and that’s completely okay. However, the amount of ads in this game is unnecessary. Ads in the middle of a level are very frustrating and break concentration. It would be completely understandable to have ads after every level, but getting an ad after almost every other box being filled is a bit insane. I’ve genuinely considered deleting the game a few times because of the amount of ads, but have never done so because it is a good game overall and it gives me something to do when i’m bored. There was a time when I watched a full ad to revive, and then once I filled the first box after being revived I got another ad that I couldn’t skip because it was only about 15 seconds long, but it made me wait another 10 seconds to exit out of the ad after the ad was done playing. tl;dr there are way too many ads in this game and you would probably have more players if this wasn’t the case

Gameplay is fun, but those ads!. As has been mentioned by others, the ads are very persistent, even popping up in the middle of a level. They’re annoying enough between levels or when needed to regain a life after too many wrong guesses. There are some that last much longer than 30 seconds and/or can’t be skipped shortly after they begin. There is at least one that seems unnecessarily racy; I don’t see the need for game ads to be rated PG-13, especially on games rated for all ages. There are some vague clues that make you guess rather than deduce; level 20 has “purple vegetables are on either side of this clue” but only one of those vegetables is revealed elsewhere. Or “a vegetable similar to pea” ???? If you use a plural where none is expected, or vice versa, it’s a wrong answer. I used two clues on a level because the first one didn’t reveal anything. Now I have one left and don’t know how or if I can receive more.

All right. I love logic games so I was excited to find one that is really challenging BUT… the amount of ads is just ridiculous. I get that there has to be ads but one after every other square is too much. At least let me finish the level and give me an ad. Secondly, I wish that you could “X” out or dim a square after you’ve “proven” it, if that makes sense. Like if it says “A1 is hamburger” let me X out that hint so I’m not reading the same hints over and over again trying to find one I missed. Thirdly, the format is not good. It’s annoying having to scroll back and forth on my phone. By the time I get to the square I wanted to get to, I’ve forgotten the hint and have to go back to read it again. If these things could be fixed, I’ll gladly come back and change my review but until then, it’s 2 stars for me.

Fun game, nearly unplayable. The game itself is a very fun concept that I really enjoy playing, but the more I play, the more frustrating the details become. The ads are so frequent that you’ll often get one after only filling in one cell. They also tend to play for longer than ads on other apps. Ads should really only play after completion on puzzle games because they make you lose your focus when they interrupt in the middle. The UI also needs serious work. It’s not adjusted for iPad so I have to scroll side to side/up & down for what should easily fit my screen. I also can’t dismiss the keyboard once I tap on a cell, so if I accidentally tap the screen, change my mind, or need to reassess, the keyboard takes up half the already small display until I figure out an answer. The clues themselves could use some touch-ups, too. Some of them are worded in a way that’s very confusing. One clue said that “mayo, nachos, and bagel” are on two separate diagonals. Apparently that meant that mayo and nachos were on the same diagonal, and bagel was on a different one. On a game with limited mistakes, clear clues are really important. There’s also no description of the theme beyond the title, which can get confusing at times because some of the themes aren’t the most cohesive. A logic game lacking in logic is pretty bad. I hope it gets updated with fixes. I really want to like this game.

Ad Extortion, Poor Placement of Icons, Game Play Good. The ads pop up so frequently that they become an added challenge to the game because you have to hold in your head the answer to the clue you were about to type, or recall which clue you had just started reading. If you aren’t willing to pay the $6 extortion fee, there is no point in playing. This type of game is exactly the type I enjoy and is worth the $6 for me. The only complaint since paying the fee is that the shop and clue icons appear inside the bottom row of clues, thus blocking your ability to easily read the clues/notes in those boxes and making it so you may accidentally click them unintentionally. The game play itself is basically they give you an answer or clue and tell you the coordinates for the box to put the answer in. I like logic puzzles, so I like this game.

Grid Size. Love this game, but you need to make the whole area fit the screen. It’s very annoying to look at and navigate with something that doesn’t fit the screen. The whole grid is too big!

Garbage. Just another below average game made by below average people, exploiting enjoyment for money. They don't care about you. Also how hard would it be to enter an answer as correct if a typo is made? Your built in keyboard is the crappiest thing ive ever seen. Stop making games and get a real job you losers.

Fun but ads are interruptive. I really enjoy this game and its concept, if I just focus on that then I would give 5 stars but the downside are the ads. I understand the need for it but it gets interruptive when they pop up in the middle of the gameplay. For example on harder levels, after inputting 2 correct answers an ad would pop up every time, it feels a bit too much. Showing an ad after you finish a level would be a lot more bearable.

Deleted due to ads. Clearly the developers have no confidence in their game, as they are just trying to make a quick buck from customers paying to remove ads. I was only on level 13 and I had 7 ads - start, finish and 5 during the level. Developers, get your priorities sorted out. Have can you expect people to keep playing a game of progressive logic through constant interruptions? End result equals boredom and deletion.

Fun while it lasted…. Really loved the game in the beginning, thought I’d be playing it for hours! However as the levels progress, the clues become worse. To the point you are either left to blindly guess or have no chance of getting an answer. Also, more answers need to be accepted so you don’t lose a heart for something silly ie. typing BEANS instead of BEAN. Maybe the developer can have like a comment section or something on each level so people could point out little errors like that so they could fix their game. And I very much second the idea of making an iPad version - bit frustrating to only see it as a small screen. Sadly, I think I am done with this game, but it was fun while it lasted.

Fun but constant ads. I really enjoy playing this game. It’s great for flexing your critical thinking skills. But the ads are so interruptive. As you move up levels, the clues become less helpful, so you inevitably use all your lives and have to watch ads to get more clues. This is what happens once you use a clue: Watch ad Get clue, enter your guess Watch another ad whether guessed correctly or not Enter your next clue Another ad If the clues were better, this wouldn’t be an issue because you wouldn’t have to get help. Another thing that would be helpful is being able to cross through the clues you’ve already used. And being able to zoom out to see the table at once would be helpful

Portrait only - disgusting. I like the game but hate that i can’t play it in landscape mode - it is obviously only coded in portrait mode so I’ve since deleted it. I refuse to play games on my iPad that are portrait only as its a pain in the bum to use it that way.

Literally can’t play. I was enjoying the game. Yes, there are a lot of ads, but I’m a patient person so I could deal with them. It was infrequent at first, but is now constant, that there is no way to exit an ad even after the ad is finished. The exit option does not appear in the top corner, and the only way to exit the ad is to exit the app. However, upon trying to resume the level, it puts you in another ad in which there is still no way to escape. It literally won’t let me play anymore. I don’t know if this is a widespread problem, but it is quite frustrating.

Incorrect. I correctly solved the 2nd problem, but the puzzle kept rejecting it as incorrect, until I’d used up 2 lots of lifelines. Just a waste of time

Ads. I love this game but there was no way to get rid of the ads. Now it looks like it’s been upgraded and has an option to remove the ads but it says I have no internet connection, which I do. And if I try to get an ad for a hint it says the same thing. Now I’m stuck on the clues with no way to get help. Is there any way to rectify this? Good game, but…... I like the game and the logic involved, but the amount of ads is waaay too excessive. Great concept but needs some work. I could really love this game but there are a few things that make it tedious. One is the many ad breaks right in the middle of the game play which breaks your concentration. I wish the “notes” font was very different from the normal font so it’s obvious to tell them apart when greyed out. My main issue is the spelling, it is not at all intuitive so if you accidentally miss a letter or spell something the way it is spelt everywhere except the US, you will lose a life. If you don’t realise you made a mistake, you will disregard the panel, thinking your answer is wrong. The US is only one country in the world. It’s really frustrating and is the difference between it being my favourite game and deleting it.

Font is too small. The writing is too small for playing on a mobile phone. It also does not tilt screen.

Awesome thinking puzzle game but... The ads. Holy smokes there are a lot of them. I’ve never played a game that has so many ads so often. Enjoyed but I have some suggestions. I really enjoyed this game and think it has great potential just needs some updating and adjusting, here are some of my suggestions: 1. Make the number games and the word games as seperate levels to play, I have to think quite differently from maths to words and it’s frustrating to flip back and forth. 2. A zooming/ board adjusting function as it’s frustrating not being able to see the whole board. 3. Multiple answers can be correct for example, plural vs singular words could be easily mistaken or common misspellings. 4. Would love it if I could cross off clues as I go. An example could be a long press on a clue and a line slashes through it. 5. Ads before and after rather than during, or a way to pay for ad free. 6. As you progress and grow this game it would be cool to see different difficulty options. Well done.

I like the game. I like the game quite a lot and I usually play it in the car when I have no wifi so the ads don’t really bother me, the problem is that the keyboard is very slow and so a fast typer like me quickly typing and pressing send resaults in stupid mistakes. Please update the keyboard thank you 😁

Hard to read clues in the corners of the screen. I really enjoy playing this game! I think it is very fun and challenging without being frustrating. One thing that I think could improve it though is if I did not have to move my screen back and forth to read the bottom two corner clues. With the store symbol in the bottom left and the hint in the bottom right, it is sometimes hard to read the clues in those places. I think it would be helpful if those were moved or if the board was a little smaller so this was not a problem.

Pop up ads. Game was diverting, but ads get more intrusive as you increase levels. By lvl 10, they were multiple times per level. These ads paused your game while you watched a video. Annoying, but pretty standard. By lvl 17, they were pop ups. A banner at the bottom of the screen would randomly popup to full size, and typing an answer or clicking a cell would trigger it to open a browser tab as it slid up under your finger. This happened every 5 seconds or so, basically making the game unplayable. So I deleted it.

Ads, ads and more ads. This game is rife with ads and many pop-up mid game which is not standard practice. I do not recommend.

Review. I love this game but too many commercials. Makes me want to end playing

Good but could be better. How many times did I enter “heptagon” only to find out that the developer thinks “septagon” is the correct term for a seven-sided figure?! Also, losing lives because of typos is very annoying, especially when you can’t see what you have typed because of immovable icons on the screen blocking usable space. Having to guess between American and British spelling/terminology is mildly annoying (is it hedgehog or porcupine? Pajamas or pyjamas? Bathroom or washroom—and is that one word or two?). I do like the hint prompt after too much time contemplating (sometimes the hints offered are useless though), and the ability to type provisional answers. And most of the puzzles are well-designed for solving. Unfortunately the topics can be quite repetitive and in at least one case the answer required is just plain wrong. Can you please add some kind of spellcheck so that if what you type is close to the right answer it gives you the ability to correct it without losing a life?

Good game. Hard levels. Make levels easier or give more lives.

Don’t bother. Way too many ads. Sure you can go ad free but game needs work. Keyboard set up makes it easy to misspell and you loose lives. Ads between each solution. Very frustrating and to top it off one minute ads - no thanks. Deleted.

Text too small/too many ads/input problems. The text is minuscule even with glasses on and you can’t zoom in. So unless you are 12, you’ll have trouble playing seeing the clues and entering answers. Waaaaay too many ads! Ads not just at the end of the game but after almost every answer you input there is an ad. It would be too many ads for any type of game but definitely not conducive to logic type puzzle where you have to keep track of things. Sometimes there are multiple ads in a row! They could play 1/10th of the ads and still earn a lot of ad revenue. Playing this many just seems to be based on greed. There is also something wrong with the keyboard interface because while entering an answer it often bounces to another square and most of the time it doesn’t enter all the letters. This means spelling mistakes and you guessed it…more ads. It happens so often that it seems purposeful to earn more ad revenue. After 3 mistakes, you have to watch an ad and every one after. Tiny text combined with the poor keyboard interface, bouncing around boxes mid word while typing an answer, makes this game and more ads than any other game I have ever played, makes an otherwise decent enough game, frustrating and unplayable. It’s too bad because it is a clever concept.

Concept is good but ads become frustrating. I really enjoyed the concept, a type of logic game to make you think. My only issue is having ads WHILE I’m solving a puzzle. Between I can live with. Have decided to delete due to this

Game play needs a lot of work. This feels like an ad farm game, the game its self needs work, constantly having to guess at words after running out of clues and words not giving clues, the keyboard setup is difficult to work with and leads to miss spells which take a life. 4-6 adds per level even without needing hints and power ups. Will not be keeping this game

SO MANY ADS!. The game itself is actually really fun but there’s so many ads that it’s not even enjoyable by the time you play 5 levels. You literally get 3-5 ads a level and that’s if you don’t watch any to revive/ get an extra life. And when you do watch an ad to get a life, it gives you another right after (at least in my experience) as if you didn’t just watch the revival one. Also, a lot of the ads I got were for games like episode or love island or a spicy ebook app which made playing this game in public very awkward (that could be a me problem? But I normally never get those ads so idk). Also, I literally clicked “main menu” and it gave me an ad. Frustrating and disappointing.

I honestly would rate this 4 and a half stars.. So Hitapps, this game you made is the best game you have. I have played most of your games, none of them have ever kept my interest as long as this game has. I have been playing it for months! I have just hit level 225 and all has been great. Yes, I have gotten a bit annoyed with the ads, but I have played games that were WAY worse with ads. BUT… I can no longer play the game offline! That upsets me because now I can no longer play the game in areas my phone doesn’t receive service.

This game could be great if…... So many ads. The most ads I’ve ever seen in a game. And zero options to pay for an ad free version. I would happily give you my money to turn off the ads. Other issues - if you accidentally misspelled something you lose a life. The choices aren’t always given, you have to guess . Example they wanted ozone hole I put hole i lost a life . Or the question was in plural so I put an s at the end they wanted the answer with no s so I lost a life . Other times you hit a stalemate you answered and placed all the tiles correctly but there are no more box clues to help you fill in the boxes with out cheating and using a hint to open up a new box clue. I feel like this game has the potential to be a really good game . But it’s really lacking being user friendly . I like the game because it not too easy . But it’s also not too hard that you can’t solve the puzzles . Except for a few bugs in the levels. It feels like they set the levels up but never actually played them through and tested them out .

Love the game but has some issues. First of all, I love to play this game but I think it could be made better. If your cursor is in one block, it should be easier to move the cursor around. What I mean is once you go to enter an answer it’s hard to move to check the clue you’re answering. Also the last row and column square is blocked by the icon for a clue. This makes it hard to check your spelling as you enter your answer. I rarely write reviews but despite my issues, I recommend it as it is an unique game

Too many ads. This would be an excellent game EXCEPT that you get an ad every time you get an answer wrong, then after every 2 answers right. The point of this game is to have to think things through and the constant interruptions from so many ads ruin the entire experience. I've only gotten through 3 levels and the frustration of these ads is making me not want to continue it long enough to determine if I want to buy the game or not. If you let people play uninterrupted for a few days FIRST, they might actually get to see what the game is actually like and decide it's worth the cost.

Way too many errors. I really liked the concept of this game. I was a bit frustrated over the sensitivity of mistyping words, but the bigger issue I have is that just 6-7 levels in I kept coming across clue errors. One said “bunny” was in column B, but column B was already full. It ended up being in column D. I’ve started the pizza level and it says the unique ingredients to Hawaiian pizza are in the same column as the name Hawaiian, but also that oven and sauce are in the same column. There aren’t enough spots for all of that. Can’t play a game if the game isn’t created accurately. Maybe I’ll check back in a few years to see if it’s been fixed, but for now, not worth the aggravation.

Outstanding concept, fair to middling implementation. I love logic problems and knowledge games so the concept of this game is fabulous!!! But the ads! Oh my…I am closing to deleting it because of them. Really … in the middle of a level. I don’t mind paying a reasonable amount to lose the ads but get rid of any add more than about 15 secs. I would love the ability to mark that I have used all of a cell’s clues. I am not certain how you are using diagonals. I had one that said in separate diagonals but they were in the same row, or column, or diagonal. I figure pf out after what you meant but an explanation would help. Any chance we could zoom the screen in and out? And finally, if I go through the effort of getting a hint (watching another ad😢), it would be nice if it had a hint with it so I could keep going. Wonderful concept… please fix and enough with all the ads, Please!!!!

As advertised!. I am so tired of app promoters outright lying and misrepresenting their games. Even the App Store doesn’t seem to care about it. People used to care about reputation and honor instead of just money. I rated this game at 4 because sometimes there are bugs that give an error message and loss of life when you enter a correct answer. Overall it requires you to think logically and put correct answers in a table. I find if fun and challenging because it makes you think carefully.

notes function needs improvement and contact us does not work. There needs to be a way to make a note in a completed square so that we can note when that clue has been completed - similar to what you would do when completing a paper puzzle by placing an x when that clue has been found. it is tedious to have to go back and read every square to see what has not been completed vs what has. this would very much improve how much we can enjoy the game. Tried to use the contact form on the site but there is no where to agree with the zero tolerance to fraud that is required to submit the form!

Too specific and too many ads. I love logic puzzles, but this game has far too many ads and too few opportunities to get an answer wrong. There are ads after every couple of answers, and another to get another chance. Also, you have to be exact in the answer. For example, if the answer is tater tot, you can’t write tater tots or tots. And you only get a chance to miss maybe two before you run out of chances. I’m spending more time watching ads than I am playing. Time to find another logic game to play.

Good game could be great. It’s a great game, but the gameplay is not great. Typing each word individually is very annoying - for people used to swiping and therefore typing very quickly, it makes gameplay tedious, especially since any letter mistakes will count as a wrong answer and lose a life. A drag and drop word bank would be a huge improvement. It’s also a little annoying to have to continuously move back and forth around the screen to see the different parts of the game board. If those things were fixed I’ll be willing to purchase this game to play long term.

Enjoying this game. I like that it makes you think. Two features I would like: 1 to be able to cross off clues you’re done with. Sometimes a box gives you an answer for two boxes, and then each of those boxes have clues as well. 2 to zoom in and out to see more or less of the board, instead of just scrolling around. Some of the puzzles are 5x5 so it can get tricky. -1 star for ads more often than 1 per puzzle.

fun but done wrong?. Okay i like this game its pretty fun but sometimes it’s impossible and i thought i was just dumb but i saw other reviews saying the same thing so prolly fix that, also lot of ads and also i think there should be a word bank. i was on a level and one of the hints says “all of the ones in this column is rodents” IDK WHAT RODENTS YOU GUYS USE. you could have a chinchilla rat a mouse squirrel or some less common ones so how am i supposed to know what ones are supposed to be there? besides that it’s pretty fun just a lil challenging trying to remember row from column so maybe you could add like an arrow displaying row vs column thanks

Ad overload. I actually really like this game but only made it to around level 15 before deciding to delete it. I get having ads but this is overkill! I counted 8 ads during one puzzle! That doesn’t include the ones I watched for more lives after my 3 guesses were used! If you use the help button, you have to watch an ad for just one help added, then have to watch another ad to use it! It has ruined the game for me. I really wanted to play it and was going to share it with others because I liked it so much. After 24 hours of play to get a feel for it, I will not be getting others to play and am done with it myself.

Layout/format needs work. The game is very fun and satisfying but having to scroll back and forth seems unnecessary since the squares are oversized to begin with. Also when the keyboard pops up the hint and shopping cart buttons cover the text in the squares at the bottom and you have to scroll to read them. Putting a “cancel keyboard” button would help or if you could just tap outside the keyboard to have it hide would be nice too. The amount of ads is ridiculous too. If these get fixed I’ll give more stars in my review.

Logic Fan. I’m a big fan of logic puzzles and really enjoy this one…to a certain extent. There are far too many ads. Too often an ad pops up after every answer and by the time you’re able to get out of it, you’ve lost your place and train of thought. Portrait orientation would be helpful; scrolling side to side to look for clues and empty cells is frustrating and confusing. And can we get rid of the icons/symbols blocking cells in the bottom row? Hard to see what you’re typing and impossible to scroll past to check spelling, etc.

Fun idea,poor execution. I have only played the first few puzzles and have already found a few mistakes. Among them in the first puzzle I had one word left “cardamom” which it would not accept as correct when entered in the last box. I had to use a clue in order to advance to the second puzzle. Not a great start. One puzzle had confirmed pig as correct in “B2” when another clue appeared saying it was in row 5. One clue stated that 2 words were in opposite diagonals in a 5x5 grid, and one of them was in “B4” which is not on either diagonal. Plus as mentioned by other reviews the bottom two corner boxes are covered with the buttons obscuring what you are typing. I would avoid this game and download a different logic game that has puzzles that are solvable with logic.

Ambiguous Clues. You’re only given 3 lives, yet there are several puzzles with clues too ambiguous to place correctly, thus using up your lives and often requiring you to start over. Example: the only available unsolved clue I have is “There are two melons in E3 & F3, but only one of them is green on the outside and red on the inside.” Which means I have to guess, not use logic, to find which cell Watermelon is in. If I guess wrong I lose a life. Once I guess correctly Watermelon is a dead end and without any other clues I have to guess what type of melon is in the other cell. Again not logic, just by chance, or lose lives. Very frustrating.

Overwhelming amount of ads. I love the gameplay but only gave it 3 stars for the same reason that has been reported in a few other reviews 1) wayyy too many ads. I would consider purchasing ad free, but the price for removing ads is as excessive as the number of ads. Maybe a trial ad free option? 2 ) playing on a tablet, the bottom row is blocked by the icons and hard to find/read even when scrolling Going to try a little longer. But too many different games to be constantly annoyed.

Fix puzzles. I would have given a higher rating if not for so many frigging ads and if the higher levels(50’s through 60’s so far) didn’t become so obscure with the hints.. I like solving stuff but the higher the level, the more I felt like this game was “called in”.. I like a challenge, but not impossibilities!! Like “you need an A5 and an E3 for the D2” I mean really? I need a toilet and toilet paper for the bathroom? Cause you have to get clues for those cause there is no way on God’s green earth that you could even guess at a lot of them, and Lord help you if you misspell or don’t add an s or add an s when it looks like a plural answer but then it’s not?!?!

Annoying ads. The game concept is very good. I’m sure I would love playing it if they were not an excessive number of ads with sound that continue after closing the ad. Some of the ads pop up in the middle of the game not just win you need a new life. Because you can only see part of the puzzle at one time, there is constant moving to find the cell you want to fill in. Making the entire puzzle visible while playing the game would be much more conducive to wanting to play the game again. Unfortunately, I have to delete this app because it is a waste of my time. I want to play to increase brain flexibility. I don’t need to develop my fine motor skills.

Keyboard issues. The keyboard in the game is slow and glitchy. It frequently misses letter you type which causes you to answer wrong. They should change to use your device’s keyboard. Or at least use a auto correct feature since you are obviously guessing the right answer. They could also have an option that lets you select answers that have already been given in clues. Example: the answer is GREAT SPHINX OF GIZA. With the crappy keyboard you have to rewrite it several times. You could have an option to select capitalized text from a clue to enter in a cell.

Still have to watch ads after purchasing!!. I purchased this game so I wouldn’t have to watch the numerous annoying ads that they throw at you!! However, what they don’t tell you is that after you purchase the game if you need a hint you must watch an annoying ad!!! If I HAD KNOWN this I would NOT have paid for this game!! You could at least give a couple of hints for free and then if a person needs more hints then make them watch an ad!!! ALSO now for some reason the hint buttons and the purchase buttons have moved from the top of the page to the center of two boxes making game play difficult!!! Please fix this or I want my money back!!!

Insane amount of ads. The game is fun itself but the ads are WAY too excessive. Worse than in any other game I’ve ever seen and I’ve played a LOT of games. Seems like it’s every few seconds. And no option to pay to get rid of ads. Some of the puzzles don’t give enough clues. For instance on pizza…I had two squares left and no more clues left. I had to use the hint which of course means more ads. Then one of the words was something I’ve never heard of but yet something everyone associates with pizza like pepperoni isn’t on the list. Also they shouldn’t mark it incorrect for spelling or typos. Some minor adjustments to the game would make it 5 stars.

Decrease the ads! Fix formatting. I enjoy the game but will delete it if the number of ads continue at the present rate. I can see 30-second ads for multiple additional lives but one 30-second ad per one additional life is ridiculous! The way the game is currently set up, I spend WAY more time watching ads that I do having fun playing the game. Please change this SOON or I will delete the app and move on to a less frustrating way to relax! Please fix the formatting so there is a landscape orientation for iPhone and iPad. Two stars for a game that could easily get a 5-star review.

Good, but…. I paid for the removal of ads, and that helped tremendously. But… they give you 3 lives and ZERO hints for every level from then on. If you run out of lives, or if you want to get a hint, you must watch an ad, which would be ok if it wasn’t mostly the same ad and EACH AD LASTS FOR A WHOLE MINUTE! Formatting is also wonky. I think you should reward users with one hint if you didn’t lose any lives on a puzzle. Also, reduce the length of the ads. Trust me, I rather watch a 15 second ad over and over than have to watch any ad for a minute.

Too MANY ADS!. I agree with another rater. I would have given this 5 stars except for the overabundance of ads. I love logic games and word games and couldn’t wait to download and play but then after every other answer, an ad pops up and invariably the same Royal Match one. King Robert ads show up in every game I play so I am really tired of him. I have deleted games I just bought because of seeing him and that pathetic misogynist makeover game time after time. Of course they blitz you with ads so you will pay 6 dollars to not see them but I get games to enjoy them, not to be annoyed and manipulated. I prefer games where you can watch ads to gain something, like hints, extra lives, boosts etc.. not because you answer 2 questions in a row.

There’s no way to pay to remove the ads, the ads are long, they show up in the middle of the game ( several times depending on the size of the board) they show up after each level. You only get 3 free hints in the entire game and after using them you have to watch ads to get each and every one. If you use all of your ‘lives’, for lack of a better term, you have to watch an ad to keep going or restart the entire level. The ads are annoying and I won’t recommend this game to anyone because of it.

Fun game but frusterating to use.. Conceptually this game is a great idea but i get super annoyed at how the game plays. The keyboard for the game is super bad and I wish they would just use the regular phone keyboard. For the note function; it would be better if there was a “clear box” button so we wouldnt have to delete the words in such an agonizing way. Also it would be great if there was a side column for notes. Finally, I wish there was a way to press enter so that we could divide the words into individual lines rather than them all just being typed side by side.

Too Many Ads !. Way too many ads like every five seconds and when your working on figuring out the clues and where the answer has to go a freakin ad pops up and they aren’t short ads either its just very annoying. Plus some of the clues answers could go into more than one cell so you either guess wrong and lose a life or have to use a hint or come back to that clue as the puzzle fills in…after watching annoying ads of course. I would have given this game 5 stars if it wasnt for so many ads. Usually a game will for a fee block ads but i don’t see this option nor can you purchase hints …nope gotta watch another ad like there’s not enough already.

Good game but frustrations. I play this on my iPad & enjoy it. The app doesn’t look like the pictures. The shopping cart covers A5 & the hint button covers E5. Because there isn’t a zoom in or out I have to drag back and forth to read the cells. It would be nice if the table rotated or had an option to see the whole table on the screen. I’m in the 100-levels. It would be nice if the tables varied in size. And lastly I’ve had to use a hint on the last cell a few times. When I use it, the screen goes automatically to the completed message. So I don’t ever get to know the answer. It is a bummer.

Could be improved. I liked the game in theory and had fun for the most part. Apart from the *constant* ads (way more than normal games, I feel!), the “clues” were….not the best. You end up having to guess at a lot of them because there is not enough information to fill in answers. Also, words have to be sooo specific. I had had about enough when a clue was “if you go on a trip, you’ll need this.” The answer was not “suitcase,” it was “bag.” Like how am I supposed to know the exact word? On the same puzzle, an answer was “plane” and would not accept “airplane.” Maybe have the game flag the box and notify that the answer is close but not correct, or something idk. But anyway, fun game but needs work for sure.

Fun game. I like this game, the only thing I have to say about it, is the fact that you have to watch videos to get hints, it would be nice if we got get a free hint every time we get incorrect answers, and if that is too much to ask, then I would really rather have a landscape as an option because scrolling is too much, and you lose your concentration, and if you don’t know how to spell a word and you have to look at the words and scroll to see if your typing it right it’s just too much. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add landscape

Great but some issues. I love this game and play it constantly. However my two issues are 1) Sometimes you can’t figure out an answer from the clues. I.e. in the theatre round (#110) the word “premiere” never comes up and there are no clues that hint at that word. I was essentially forced to use a hint to finish the round and 2) Having to get the exact wording can get difficult. I wish there was a better way to hint at the wording of the answers because sometimes I get one wrong simply because the word is spelled differently than I expected.

Good, but…. I like the puzzles, but there are some annoying things. 3 stars for the game, would be 5 stars if not for these three issues: 1 store/hint button location: These buttons are on top of the puzzle board and block the view of the bottom row so it is difficult to see the clues. 2 keyboard: I wish the in game keyboard allowed numbers and punctuation…especially when you are using the note feature. The keyboard needs a collapse/hide button when moving around the board. 3 ads: I am ok with ads but not when they are interrupting my thinking in the middle of a logic puzzle. And sometimes it feels like they are back to back—more time in ads than time working the puzzle. I can be on a streak of entering correct answers but the streak is reset when interrupted by an ad. 4 I would consider paying to remove the ads if the other 2 issues listed above were fixed.

How many puzzles?. In the app description, they don’t give you any real details about the game like how many puzzles are there overall, or any way to select a difficulty level. You are forced to go puzzle by puzzle. As so many reviewers have stated, way too many ads! No way to earn hints! To keep people coming back, there should be a free hint offered at least 1 time a day!! Don’t think these devs are too bright or even care… not one respond to any reviews! I do like the idea of this game, but again as stated many times… it could be so much better… a shame really…

Updates are fixing past weaknesses. A recent update lets you tap cells to gray them out. This is such a great quality-of-experience improvement! Now, you can gray out cells for which you’ve cleared the conditions, letting you focus on the puzzle pieces that still aren’t solved. This is the most recent of early frustrations that the devs have since fixed. So take old reviews with a grain of salt—this game is interesting and unique, and it’s improving all the time. Well worth the dl.

Make the puzzles logical. This game is an awesome game and I’ve been enjoying it, but in a lot of the puzzles the clues are too vague and/or incorrect. I don’t play logic puzzles to just guess. It kind of defeats the purpose of a logic puzzle. I just got to the weapons level and it’s the most horrendous thing I’ve seen yet. You reach a certain point and there’s still a ton of empty boxes, yet I’m out of words to use and the only thing I have to go off of is one box is like a larger bow. Also the small blade clue was super unclear considering a large portion of the weapons were small bladed weapons and most of them didn’t even go in the column it said they would go in. Please fix the clues and then it would be a great game

Just okay. I enjoy the puzzle aspect of this game, but I have a few complaints: Ads during gameplay Can’t see all the blocks at once. Scrolling back and forth is troublesome The return and backspace are too close together. I’m constantly hitting return instead of backspace, which automatically makes me lose a life. The keyboard doesn’t always register the keys I press, which leads to spelling mistakes and then the backspace/return issue above. Sometimes you have to guess on the puzzles because there are two locations possible. Or the clue has multiple answers. Losing a life because the clues are inadequate is really obnoxious. I’d love to be able to mark off the clues I’ve already figured out so I don’t have to go back an re-read them. I do like figuring out where each clue goes though, so I continue playing it. But if I can’t get through my current puzzle because of spelling issues, I might have to delete it.

Hard to see. I love this app for the most part. I love how challenging the levels are and how interesting the puzzles can be. My only issue with this app is that you can't see the whole board. You can only see a small part at a time which makes it unnecessarily difficult when you get to the higher levels and you're dealing with more rows and columns. I wish you could turn the screen on its side so that you could see more of the board, instead of only being able to have it vertical.

Just to vague. I love the game. But the further along I get the vaguer the clues get. To say dangerous predators are in a specific row that’s empty but never gives clues to what the predators are is bad. I feel like the puzzles are created by different people and whoever made the bad ones didn’t have anyone verify if they were even playable. And yes the ads are excessive and pop up at the most convenient times but you don’t have to watch them click the fast forward button and move on. My only other issue is the font size the longer the clue the harder it is to read. A zoom option that doesn’t require clicking on a button would be nice.

Lexilogic. The game is fun and trying!! But the commercials are ridiculously long and to navigate back to the game from the ads takes away from the fun. When ads pop up and are supposedly done, you may have to tap the word done, next screen tap x, next screen tap done again, next screen tap arrow, next screen tap done again, next an x, etc., etc. Very idiotic and I think it turns a lot of players away…. I am hoping to find another game like this without having to go thru mega time with the ads.

These game developers don't care. I like a challenge, but I have to watch way too many ads because I get them wrong, because of vague clues I'm forced to guess. It makes me want to delete the game. I guess I could try other games instead. Please try to make the clues more specific sometimes, so I don't have to guess, and have to watch more ads, more ads. I am not even halfway through not even close to halfway through. And I have watched seven ads already. Please. They are not even short ads. I wrote this review months ago. And nothing has changed. I am about to delete. If I don't win this game, it's really not worth it.

WAY too many adds!. I really like logic games. I like games that make you think rather than simply pass time. And I understand you need to have ads to pay for sponsors…. But and ad after every question - whether it is correct or wrong - is too much! Maybe after a wrong answer or before you get a hint, but this is nuts. I also wish the size of the board fit the screen better. And last, I wish it would allow a few seconds to review the last answer before the game goes to the next level. This is only getting 1 star because I can’t give a lower rating … and I am deleting the game because of the over amount of ads!!! I will look for another logic game.

Don’t do it. I looked this up again to see if anything has improved. Apparently, it hasn’t. The bugs, the ads, all of the issues… if you look at past reviews, you see the same complaints over and over again starting as far back as you can see. If there have been continuous updates, why haven’t any of the issues been resolved? This could be an extremely fun and probably popular game if it was actually working. The canned response to every complaint states that they appreciate our input and are working to improve these issues… but clearly, it isn’t happening. So don’t bother unless you want to pay for it, and even then it isn’t that good.

Ads and screen size…. I really, really like the idea of this app. It is a different twist on the typical logic problems where you mark an X or a checkmark. Many others have commented on the ads. It’s true. You watch an add to get a hint, and then when you try to use the hint, you have to watch yet another ad. Very annoying. My second comment is that I play on a decent sized iPad (10” or whatever, but not a mini), and the way the screenplay is - it doesn’t take up the whole screen of the device - there is still black space all around. It allows you to enlarge or decrease the app screen size, but even after enlarging it, you still can’t see the whole grid on your screen. I am constantly scrolling up and down and right to left to reread clues at look at previous answers. It makes it far more difficult to enjoy and just play. I would suggest to the developers that this is one of the biggest issues. If you could see an entire grid on the screen, it would improve the experience greatly.

What’s up with JUNE 17 Daily Challenge??. I’ve been playing the game for several weeks — up to level 346, and enjoying it, but today I played my first Daily Challenge and am pretty annoyed. One of the first boxes I opened said THEATER is surrounded by three words, and listed the three. Not only did THEATER turn out to be surrounded by five words rather than three, NOT ONE of the words listed as surrounding it was among the five. They were all on the opposite side of the board!? I had to watch a LOT of ads before I worked it all out because of that. If false, misleading clues are what make the Daily Challenge more challenging, count me out.

To much time watching ads versus playing. I would like this better if I didn’t have to watch 30 second ads after every couple of guesses. I can understand watching an ad to earn a new life but having to watch an ad after guessing a couple of cells correctly is two much. I am in the middle of a 5x5 puzzle. That is 25 cells. They give the first so there is 24 cells. If one has to watch a30sec ad after every 2 cells then this is watching 6 minutes or so of ads. This doesn’t take into account the time watching ads to get new lives. This app had potential but it belongs in the trash heap of software apps that only function as an ad generator.

Too many ads. Asking for a review after you’ve played one game is insane. What would I be reviewing? On game 3 I already had TWO “ad breaks” in the same short puzzle. Putting an ad in the middle of a game that involves some level of thinking is do annoying. You’re thinking about the hint and suddenly “ad break” which makes you lose your train of thought. Just have an ad at the end. Overall it wasn’t fun to me or what I was looking for.

Sooooo many ads!!!. I thought I would enjoy this game, but I have literally spent twice as much time wasted on ads than I have actually playing the game. Not just between rounds, but during the game play itself… each time you make a wrong answer/guess, you‘re routed into another ad video. Completely breaks the thinking process, so that getting back into the game I can hardly remember what answer I had been putting into which box. What a shame. Not even a week, and I‘m done with this one. There‘s a lot of other enjoyable games without this frustration.
