Needs a real English speaker. This puzzle is based on the English language. Therefore, you need one person whose native language is English, to write the silly jokes. Then your foreign coders can make it work. There have been some really stupid jokes lately that don’t even make sense!

Liked it. Had to delete it after level 267. Ads were too long. But I did like it a lot.

Blast from the past. Reminds me of doing the same in the Sunday paper when I was a kid, love these kinds of puzzles

Love this game!. But…. TOO many ad interruptions. So I don’t play as often as I’d like because I start getting annoyed after playing a few rounds. Otherwise, the game is great.

Questionable content. I really like this game and have played hundreds of levels. That said, the Jumbles now seem to focus on really sexist content. How many “women driver” jumbles must there be? Men drive too and they drive just as bad as some women but the creators of this always make some snarky jumble centered on bad women drivers. It’s a turn off.

Too many ads. Great game unfortunately just too many ads and if you need a hint some of the ads are 2 minutes long and still have to hit fast forward or x multiple times

Wordix. I love the game. Just started playing it but will probably delete it. Too many ads. I can understand an ad after each level, but I’m getting several during the level. Sometimes even after each word! Frustrating

I enjoyed this game until …. I had a scrambled word that I absolutely cannot figure out (CROOPCES) … I think it must be a made-up word? Anyway, is there a way to 'give up' and continue playing?

Cartoon is too fast!. I like the game! I played “Jumble” published in our newspaper years ago. But, 4 stars because the first page of the puzzle, the cartoon, does not linger long enough for me to read it. I would prefer a ‘continue’ or ‘next’ button at the bottom of the cartoon so I can move forward when I’m ready. Having an idea of the puzzle answer helps with knowing which letters goes in the circles. Please put a ‘next button at the bottom!

Finally Found My Favorite Word Game!. Have wanted to find my favorite all time word game since the 60’s… this app is awesome! Words are scrambled enough to give you some challenge and the images are clear/ sharp. Love this app! Well made!

Wordelix. This is an enjoyable game. However, I am disappointed that it continues to bombard the user with ads for keto gummies. They purport to be promoted by Kelly Clarkson and Shark Tank. That is a total fabrication. The ads are a complete scam, and I can’t believe that the game’s developers allow their users to be exposed to such an immoral marketing strategy. If these ads continue, I will delete the app. No self-respecting developer would allow their product to be used in such a dishonest fashion. Shame on whomever is responsible for this travesty. My rating is lowered for this reason. If misleading ads are eliminated, my rating will be at least four stars.

Bugs. I enjoy the app when it works but it’s got issues that won’t let me complete a puzzle or it throws in an ad after every word I unscramble. Please fix this!

Fun game but the ads…. First, the main puzzle clue doesn’t stay on long enough. Then when you do solve it an ad pops up immediately. Speaking of ads…as soon as you unscramble the first word an ad pops up. I have the Laura Gellahar makeup ad memorized since it is played every single day after each step in the h game. I refuse to but the stuff because I’m aggravated with the bombarding advertisements. I decided to delete the game and find the jumble in print somewhere. This was Laura Gellar can stop telling me how old and ugly I am without her expensive makeup. The ads last 45 seconds. While that may not seem long, when you’re looking for a quick game to pay it can extend the game to 5 minutes. Waste of time.

Awesome. It’s a really fun game and after you find out how the word goes you feel a little stupid 😂 but it is a really fun game

Just as I remember…. Game is easily playable, clues are (mostly) easily deciphered..regarding ads interrupting gameplay, for myself.. that only happened if I had to linger over a word’s unscrambling or attention was diverted from game for more than a minute. And there is an ad after each puzzle.

Too Many Advertisements. I love playing this game but get so annoyed with constant long long advertisements!! Sometimes I quit playing because I’m totally fed up with the ads. Why is there no option to pay for ad free play. I would gladly pay for that!! I’m okay with choosing to watch an ad because I’m stumped on a word and need a hint, but better yet would be a way to earn free hints during game play or just for playing often. This game challenges my brain which is very healthy, but frustration caused by an over abundance of ads is not healthy.

Ruined by sudden start up of increased advertising. Advertisements suddenly increased to an interfering rate after lever 70 that has taken the pleasure out of playing what was a wonderful word challenge go to game. It is annoying and breaks one’s concentration which ruins the whole experience of playing.

a jumbled mess. you need to be able to see the picture and the original clue while you’re solving the puzzle. i’ve played games in this app where the clue was phrased differently on the puzzle page—changing the tense of the answer. we also should be able to type in the solution BEFORE unscrambling the words, so we can figure out which letters we’re looking for. it needs work!

Words that aren’t real words. I just started this game but on level 102 and 103there are two “words” that aren’t words. First one is breif….should be brief. Second is geckon….should be gecko. I tried looking up those words and they don’t exist. It’s hard to get the answers when that’s the case. I like doing word jumbles but want the solutions to be real words.

Fun but ads are annoying. I enjoy this game very much but doe there have to be an ad between every puzzle?! And they’re long ads on top of that. I’d pay a small fee to have ads disabled!

Freezes up. I have had to delete this app and redownload it several times because it keeps freezing up . What can be done to fix it?

Too many ads. I enjoy the game immensely, although it should be up to me to move on from the cartoon and begin solving, but being interrupted three times by ads during one short game is ridiculous. If this continues to be how it goes, I’ll just trash this app.

If only. If only this app would get rid of the magic kingdom ads it would be perfect! They are way too long, extremely annoying, never ending!

Too many ads 60 or more seconds. If I need a hint I gave to watch ad. I accept that but why are these ads so long? Seriously, I may have to watch more than one ad to get the help I need to unscramble the word, but I will not watch ads longer than 60 seconds. I will now delete this game even though I really like it.

Mixed review. This game could be 5 stars, but it’s flawed. First of all, it works so incredibly smoothly! Very impressive. However, as a word game, in English, it’s got many, many typos and misspellings. But I still really like it and am ignoring the ‘bad English’, because it’s so close to a similar type of word game from the newspapers of my youth. And, the smooth operation is amazing! The only flaw in its operation is that within a split second of solving it, it jumps immediately to a postgame ad and then solution window. Far too fast, because you don’t even know you’ve solved it before it ‘jumps’ out of the window. All-in-all, I’m staying with it, despite the frequent typos, because it’s obvious they’ve put great, professional efforts into the game. The drawn pix are cute - and it’s a joy to experience such smooth app development! (I’m a professional proofreader, so you know it’s good when I’m able to ignore the spelling errors). I’m just looking at it like I look at life: it’s a work in progress and the developer’s fine efforts are obvious.

Love This Game!. Update: after the 20-ish level the games are no longer the classic Jumble. They become short little “jokes” or “riddles”. Not the classic game it first appears to be. This has always been one of my favorite word games! Used to do it in the newspaper everyday when I was a kid. Glad I found this app! One concern is that the main puzzle doesn’t stay up long enough to read the cartoon. The jumble page has the “quote” but it isn’t the same wording. Would be nice to have a “next” and/back button to be able to flip between the puzzle and the cartoon.

Used to be great. The game is fun and entertaining but I just deleted it because of the ads they have now, it used to be 30 seconds ads and done, lots of the ads now are over 2 minutes, to that I say no, take your game and shove it.

Overall thumbs up. The game is fun, fair and challenging however the incessant intrusion of ads detracts from the ability to completely enjoy it.

Ads are AWFUL. I Love this game, but the ads are WAY TOO LONG and stupid. And they are in too many stages - it’s not like it’s only at the start, no they pop up over and over. And they last longer than in any other game. I don’t get why I can’t just buy the game (though what few I’ve seen were foolishly expensive).

Love this game!. I really love this game! The artwork and puzzles are fantastic and funny. However, I have noticed that when you get to about level 150, the puzzles start repeating the ones that you have already done. Please add new puzzles.

Great, until you’re stuck.. I loved this game until I got to a level where I couldn’t solve the final scramble. I watched the ad over and over and over but got no hints. I’ll try a few more times. I’m sad because I really enjoyed this game!

Challenging without being impossible. Love this game. Some word games are absolutely impossible to solve without a 200 IQ. This game is challenging and fun.

Stuck and can’t proceed.. I like this game, but am now stuck on level 154. It goes into the opening of the level but won’t go into the words so I can solve the level. I can’t play further because I can’t solve the puzzle. Very frustrating.

Ads. Is having ads in the middle of a game really necessary? It’s annoying and interrupts what would otherwise be a fun game. You’ve got an ad after the first scramble and another on after a few more. I promise you, I am NOT going to opt for a game that spoils another one. Please rethink whatever strategy might be behind this tactic.

Needs fixing. Got this app because I loved doing these puzzles back in the daily newspaper days. I couldn’t figure out the second word in the answer so I tried to use a hint. It gave me the first letter of the first word. I know what that word is! Watched an ad to get another hint and got the 2nd letter of the first word I already know. If you think I’m gonna watch 5 ads to get a hint for the 2nd word, you’re dreaming! Give us the option of picking the letter of any word in the answer to use the hint on! Either that or give me the option to skip the level! You obviously wanted and created an ad factory so I’ll probably delete your app.

Before and after. I like this game because I don’t have to think too much and it reminds me of when I used to get the Sunday paper. I agree with people who think there are too many ads, especially in the middle of a game ….quite annoying.

MAKE A NO ADS OPTION!!!. This is like the 3rd game of these developers that I really enjoy but uninstall because they have no ads but out option. Guess I’m uninstalling this one too!

Love but…. I keep getting the same puzzles over and over. It feels like I’m never getting anywhere so very frustrating.

What Happened???. Was enjoying solving the scrambled words, now suddenly, there’s an ad after every solved word? It now takes forever to solve the puzzle and causes a lot of irritation and loss of interest. If this is how it’s going to be, you can forget this user. I will delete and tell anyone I told about this game to get rid of it. App has been deleted!!

Wordelix. I enjoy playing the game but the number of ads are annoying. It’s away what enjoyment you are having playing he game. I don’t think I’ll last too much longer. Please consider getting rid of the ads.

Fun game. I always liked this game in the newspaper. Now I can play it on my phone. That’s great. The only thing I don’t like is that when I was using the print version, I could see the picture and all the scrambled words at the same time. This app shows the scrambled words separate from the diagram. But I can adjust. Good game.

Very similar to a game called JUM***, but more fun!. If you are familiar with Sunday comic strips you might remember a feature with scrambled letters. This game is similar but improved with better graphics, more challenging puzzles and (best of all!) no erasing. Try this if you are into crossword puzzles or Scrabble.

Fun and challenging!. I loved these in the newspaper. Now that newspapers are on their way out, here it is for my phone! They have a few too many ads and it glitches on occasion but otherwise it is honestly great and I enjoy it hugely!

Love Word Games!!. I have only solved the first 3 games, and I know that this is the word game that I remember. I played this game so many years ago. Before it became an online game. I would buy books of this game, and complete one book and then buy another one. I have finally found a word game that I truly love. Thanks creators!

So many ads. It’s a decent game but the ads are just too frequent. They even occur during the middle of game play and not just after completing a level. I had to delete it.

Small problem. Well, I just went to get a hint (I had all the letters, just not the answer). It sent me to an ad. I count, that as was nearly a full minute. I didn’t get the answer, so I went back for another clue. I stopped counting at 1 1/2 minutes, and deleted the game. A bit much, don’t you think? Bye bye.

Fun game. I remember as a kid my mom and I would do the newspaper daily jumble puzzle . The puzzles are difficult enough to make you think but not too hard that you give up every time I play it makes me think of my mom .great mind game.

Love this - but . .. I have been enjoying this game for a while now, but all the sudden it stopped being fun, only because it breaks up the game with ads every five seconds. As soon as I find a word, it goes immediately into an ad. Also it’s very irritating that when you do finish all of the words, it won’t let you answer the complete puzzle, hopefully you can get this straightened out

LOVE THE GAME - but.... I do love the game; however, it does so that, every time you solve one word, you had to put up with an ad - worse, there is an ad that says Super Bowl on the top, the word "super" being and blue toned and the "bowl" in red tones. there are two football players in helmets, again the one on the left and blue tones on the one on the right and red tones. You simply cannot get rid of this ad. You press anywhere on the screen and get to go to other places.. The only remedy is to exit the game and come back in or two later.. It was wonderful at first, but when it started making you look at an ad after every word that is solved and then this, it's not worth it.

Ads are too long, intrusive, hard to close. Love the game, hate the intrusive ads. No option available to pay to skip ads, and it is never okay to have ads with sound. Too many ads… one game = three 30-second ads. I’m deleting the game now. Game is not worth putting up with the ads. Did I mention I hate intrusive ads?

Way too many ads. The game itself is great but the ads are so long (some as long as 1-2 minutes)

Can’t see the cartoon. Horrible game. Can’t see the cartoon clue while playing.

Disappointing. Was great fun for a while but then ads started increasing and levels repeating - won’t go past 70 but keeps returning to 65.

Ditch it before level 6…. Top ten game until level 6….then it drops to garbage. It has ads after EVERY SINGLE WORD. Not playable because of the time it takes to play a round. Delete games that have this practice so eventually they will reduce the ads to a more reasonable and acceptable amount. I urge everyone to do exactly that.

Bad. Can’t see the picture while answering. Can’t solve puzzle ahead. Horrible amount of ads you can’t even escape out of.

Unwieldy. I would like to be able to see the image while playing, or toggle back and forth. I would like to solve the puzzle as soon as I know the answer rather than be forced to unscramble all the words.

Good game. I really like this game and I don’t mind watching few ads but lately it 2 or 3 per game! If you want a clue I just had to watch a traffic game ad and it was a minute and a half long! I timed it. So I’m out.

Spelling errors. Not a bad game but there’s quite a few spelling errors in the words to be unscrambled (eg feelng instead of feeling, guage instead of guage). Makes them almost impossible to solve. Also the clues often make no sense with the answer.

Fun!. I think this is a fantastic game! I have been playing it daily for a few months now. My brain is challenged, and the ending play often offers a punny twist.

Words are not unique. The puzzle words are not unique sometimes. For example, I thought the word was “SHORE”. That was wrong. The word they were looking for was, “HORSE.”

Just OK. The clues are generally ridiculous and not at all intuitive. “Grandpa’s Parking Secret?” What? I like a challenge but not this kind.

Frustrating app. If I complete unscrambling the words and don’t have time to finish the one u see the picture , it freezes. Then I have to restart that level again to finish it. Ugh!!!

NOT THE NEWSPAPER PUZZLES. Several other reviewers “think” these are the newspaper puzzles. They are not. The real creators of the newspaper puzzles are David L. Hoyt and Jeff Knurek. Do a search in the App Store for David Hoyt to find the REAL app and the many other apps he has created! Much better apps than this clone.

It freezes!. Fun levels, but it freezes and I have to reinstall & can’t save progress.

Portrait mode only. Can’t handle that. Deleted without even playing.

Directions. Where can I find play instructions?

Not working. I’m stuck on 14! O got all the word but now the screen is frozen and I can’t do anything but quit. I tried to find where I could notify you to fix it but this was the only way I found to contact you.

Could be a good game. Enjoyable but there are no incentives. No power ups or free hints……ever! You have to watch a video to get a hint. A very very long video. Don’t have that kind of time. Turned out to be not so much fun. No thank you!

Racist illustrations. Please remove cartoon/illustrations for puzzles 218 & 219 asap. They are highly racist & project black stereotypes & offer no value to the game. I like playing the game but cannot continue to do so knowing black people are viewed in this manner.

Level 219. One of the scrambled words in the list is not correct. Can’t be unscrambled and you an it advance to next level. Too many ads! After every word!

Love. I used to do the newspaper puzzle which I looked forward everyday and I get to can do with wordelix. I love love this puzzle.
