Very fun but could use a few enhancements!. I really like this game! It’s extremely challenging, which I love. But where there’s challenge, there’s frustration. I think the game needs a few quality of life updates. Perhaps add power ups to help clear the board or an undo button. It’s very frustrating to have to start the entire level over if you make more than 3 mistakes. Also, as a person with a disability, it’s super easy to be dragging multiple words and include another as a mistake and then lose lives accidentally. Maybe having you tap once to create chains instead of dragging would make this less likely to happen. These are just some suggestions since I want to continue playing!

Cool game. Cool game, BUT I don’t like how it expects me to know what category every word goes into. I find myself going back and forth with safari to know what words to connect. I see that you have to have a strategy for how you connect them but you should add a feature where you can tap the word and know it’s category before it’s grouped. Also switch up the categories more from game to game so that there’s a variety of words being used. Sometimes, it feels like I’m playing the same level over and over. Aside from that, I really like the game.

Too repetitive. The actual game play of this game is great. It’s just the right level of challenging to be able to connect the words and to think ahead to not put groups in the way of other connections etc. What bothers me is how repetitive the categories are. I feel like I’m playing the same level over and over with the way the categories keep repeating. I also agree with others that the ads are a bit much, but I would pay to remove the ads if I knew how many levels there were and if the levels were actually different enough from each other to not feel like the same thing over and over again.

Extremely hard. This game is to freaking hard I love a challenge but dang this was tooooo challenging for me I decided to delete it cause I got so frustrated . I don’t even know where you can see how many lives you have and they give you the least amount of mistakes like 3 or 4 for about 30 words . Currently stuck on level 4 keep dying because too many mistakes or too many moves . You have to have a high IQ to play this game . It’s ridiculous games are supposed to be a little fun so if you’re up for a challenge try this cause it sure will challenge you . Make it easier how is the 4th level so hard ? I tried that level a million times and I just can’t seem to get it but it does raise your IQ learned so many new words. I recommend but also don’t …

Holy ads!. This game is really fun conceptually and I wanted to love it. That said, I can’t even get a board without watching at least 1-2 ads. Then whenever I add more words (which you have to do to complete) I have to watch an add. So to beat a level you minimally have to watch 6 ads. (Assuming no mistakes.) Then, the interface is too sensitive while also simultaneously not responding. You get three life’s per level. Which would be fine but since it doesn’t properly register what your trying to do you run out of lives quickly. The only way to add another heart OR restart the level is TO WATCH ANOTHER AD. Like I get that’s how developers make money, but this game is virtually just an endless stream of ads with very little game play. Please do better, this could have been awesome.

Fun concept, mechanical turnoff. I like the game itself a lot. Connecting topics is a nice challenge, particularly when there’s overlap. However, two big things bug me. First: the game appears on my Home Screen spelled wrong. It’s Assosiations. Everywhere else it’s spelled right. Second: if you could tap connections and then submit them instead of dragging, that would be great. Too often I lost lives because I didn’t notice I’d mixed a diagonal Ivan in with the Birch and Cypress. Made it less fun when I had to restart for a mistake rather than somethings I actually got wrong.

Too many ads and overall user experience issues. Way too many ads… completely takes away from even being able to decide if you like the game enough to remove ads. When you get down to a few words and a few categories there’s no way sometimes to connect them so you just waste moves and have to restart. And most frustrating, you don’t know how many moves you have even used or have left, wouldn’t it be wonderful if you knew and could watch an ad to get more moves. Clues are useless too, I want a clue based on when I click on it and it gives me a hint based on what’s left on the board, instead the clues may be things I have already solved for. Overall, there are better options for this type of game where developers have put more into a better user experience. Deleting after just 2 games.

Potential. I think this game has a lot of potential to be an addicting and fun game. A few concerns that I have and I’ve also read from other reviews are of course the hearts it’s especially annoying when you don’t realize that your line has hit a word you didn’t mean to go to. I agree with some people about the the board changing up mainly when your are so close to being done. I have been on the 3rd level for a few day until I finally had to unstall the game because I “ran out of spaces” my suggestion would be to be able to move the main groups that you put the words into to make it a little more easy on everyone. It’s a fun game and has a lot of potential. If these problems that everyone has pointed out were fixed or even accommodated to it would be such a fun game and I would even download it again!

It’s a good game just to many ads. This game is really fun and I would totally recommend this game to anyone. The only thing is the ads. There are way to many ads. When you first open the app and click on the level you were playing you get an ad. Then when you need to add more words there’s another ad. If you use any of you hints that you have another ad. This game could be better than it already it if there wasn’t as many ads. I don’t like games that have ads every two minutes like I just want to play the game. It’s still a good game but with the ads I don’t even think it deserves three stars. I can’t play the game without a million ads every minute. I just want a game that doesn’t have as many ads. I’m not saying there shouldn’t be any ads at all because there will always be an ad on any app you get. I’m just saying there shouldn’t be as many ads as there are. Like I get you can pay for no ads but it’s just dumb for the younger kids who have it and don’t have the money the app is asking for. It should just be at least two ads every ten minutes. Not 7000 ads every ten minutes. I would still recommend it if people are patient enough. But still less ads = more people wanting to play it.

Waste of time. Try as hard as you will, you will rarely clear a board because the ones in the way, cannot be moved! For instance if you link all modes of transportation and all types of hats, but need to go back and link a type of dance, you can’t because the modes of transportation are in the way! And, you only get to add more words before you are out of lives. When you are out of lives, you then have to watch an ad that at least two minutes long, or start over! Biggest waste of time and money! You will frustrated if you download this game. BTW, what the crap are the double arrows for?! Wasteful frustrating crap is all this is. Games are supposed to be relaxing, enjoyable and logical and this one is NONE of those. Couldn’t get pass level three because you don’t get enough lives, they aren’t spaced out enough to prevent error, etc. so I deleted Associations! I advise anyone not to waste time in this junk! App needs work, lots of work! I don’t have patience for foolishness!!

Challenging, but maybe too challenging. This is a fun game but it’s sometimes too challenging. Don’t get me wrong I love a good challenge and I like solving puzzles but the way the pieces are laid out I can’t always see that I got a word that isn’t in the category and then lose a life. There are only 3 lives per game and that often isn’t enough. I don’t like having to start all over for mistakes that aren’t intentional. There are also some pretty obscure words that, as an educated person, I’ve never heard or seen before which makes matching categories difficult. The ads are excessive and to remove them is more expensive than this kind of game is worth. I like the ad for this game better because it showed crossing off words in a given category. But in reality you don’t know what the categories are (and there are quite a few per level) and you just have to guess. But don’t guess wrong cause you’ll lose all you lives and have to start all over again. I hope that the developers can make some improvements on this game to fix some of these issues and make a better game.

Excessive Ads. I really like the game. It uses words that I don’t know and it makes me have to think. I understand having ads to keep the game free but this games ads are EXCESSIVE. I have to sit through an ad when I first open the game before I can play and then it gives an add everything you add more words to the board and then again after the level ends. I could deal with it at the end of every level but having to have it to add more words to the playing field to finish a level is really annoying! It makes me not want to play as much!

A few problems. I really like this game but I have a few problems. 1: way too many ads. If you leave the app, or when you start or finish it will make you watch an ad, usually 1 minute long. 2: the hearts. I think the hearts on a word game are a little strange, especially because you only have 2 or 3, and you have to watch an ad to get one, and if it’s a hard level, you will probably be watching a lot of ads. 3: when you’re dragging words to put them together sometimes it attaches words you don’t want and you have to restart, or you don’t notice and it takes away a life. 4: you have a number of moves, but you don’t know how many. I think having a number of moves is fine, but I would prefer to know how many. For example, recently I was about to complete a level (I had 2 more moves and I would be finished) and it said I used all my moves and made me restart. 5: When you run out of moves or lives it restarts you with the same groups/words. It would be nice to have different groups/words. Thank you and I understand these might be hard fixes, but I’m willing to wait!

Overall it’s okay. I think overall it’s a fine game, it has the potential to be a good puzzle game. But it’s also kind of annoying to play sometimes. It can finicky when you try to connect multiple words together, often connecting to the wrong ones. Which is a problem when you only have 3 lives. Another issue is the fact you have a limited amount of turns. Which in itself isn’t an issue but the problem is it doesn’t tell you how many turns you have. Kinda bizarre if you ask me. Honestly I think it should either be a certain amount of lives or a certain amount of turns, not both. And if it is turns, you should be able to tell how many you have.

Why I chose to rate you guys three stars. One reason is because it’s just a little hard but it’s also really fun to figure out what the word what somewhere just mean this of how I would say it but like it’s just really fun it’s a good family game and it’s like it helps your brain like get more knowledge and stuff and paying attention to like what I press and drag or whatever but yeah like I said it is really fun game and a family game and it’s fun that like it’s kind of hard but it’s kind of easy but yeah but that’s one reason why I chose to write you guys three stars. and the last and final reason is that it’s just it helps you like get more knowledge just like you kind of have to pay attention to it like you’re doing and yeah not like I said it like you have to like pay attention and like really look and it’s just a really fun family game.

PAY ATTENTION. Pretty good game, but a few adjustments would make it outstanding. First: why are there lives? Not every game needs to have lives, especially puzzle games. It’s hard to drag the words together, and before you know you’re out of lives because of a mis-cllick and you’re right back where you started. I also understand the point is to drag the ones close close together but it’d be more fun if you could just click them instead of dragging. Overall the game is quite fun, but it could be SO much better.

Too many ads!!!!. Really love this game but there are way too many ads!!!! Upon first download, not that many, tricks you into thinking it won’t be that bad. But then it’s a forced ad after literally every stage of one single level/game (each game is 4-5 stages and they’re quick), then another when you finish the level to see your final score, then another to start the next game! It’s too much. And no option to pay to get rid of them. I like it enough that I haven’t deleted it yet (which I normally do with an ad heavy game like this) but it’s seriously getting close to that point. To the developers - please change this! Really want to keep this one ☹️

I love this game. This game is so fun and also challenging once you get past level five I have had this game for so long and I love it because it gives me like it gets rid of the blindness. If you’re bored is it like helps yeah it’s like really fun and I also really love it, which I don’t know what it helps when I said that but like it is really fun and it’s not boring and there’s like a lot of fun stuff about this game and like it takes a lot of time so like it takes up time in your day if you’re not busy, it’s really fine and like it’s just I don’t know how many levels on but I just got it and I already love it so yeah, this is like the best game that I’ve always had. I literally love this game. It is so fun I just love it yeah that was about this game like I love it so much and hopefully you do if you get it bye but yeah I really do. Hope y’all get it like I love it so fun takes time. Yeah I love it, but if y’all do get dressed cause it’s like a horrible challenging and I just like it like it is so fun and hopefully y’all like it too if y’all get so yeah literally the best game I have always had

Game needs to be better. I love this game and I play it all the time but I’m starting to get frustrated. The first thing that needs to be fixed is definitely the amount of adds that are being shown. Every two seconds I’m playing it feels like a add is popping up. Also maybe if you give the player coins for completing a board they can use that as ways to get more hints instead of watching more adds. It’s also really hard to group together words without dragging other words with it. I suggest instead of dragging you can click on the words that go together. It’s also really annoying that you have to start out on a new board and restart every single time you lose. Instead of having to restart there can be a undo button and the board will stay the same. If those problems are fixed this will be an awesome game!

Good but Repetitive. I really enjoy the game and am glad to support the developers, however there are two improvements I would like to see. As some reviewers have already mentioned, the repetitive use of words and categories gets old after about 15 levels. At first I had to puzzle out which words went with which categories but now I know them all and it I longer a puzzle. Also, I don’t see the point in having hearts that run out - ESPECIALLY because it is so easy to highlight a wrong word as you make your chain. I get buying more hearts is a way to make money but I would pay to add more categories instead. Thank you!

Too many ads. The poor mechanics of this game do not justify the long ad breaks. I’m ok with ads as long as the game is actually good. A lot of the time I would run out of lives by mistake because of the poor quality of the mechanics of this game. You have to endure more long ads to get more lives and they only give you one at a time so don’t accidentally move your figure a millimeter in the wrong position while selecting words. I have had this game on my phone for a while and only played it a couple of times. Then today when I figured I’d give it another shot it bombarded with an ad before I could the daily quest which they put in your face to be sure you click on it so they can get their ad revenue for the poorly executed development of this game.

Great, except for…. The game itself is pretty fun as it gradually makes the associations less obvious plus needing to maneuver through the grid to connect the words properly. The only issue, and it is a fairly fatal issue unfortunately, is that the ads are obscenely excessive. I understand free games need to use ads to cover the cost of providing it for free, but generally the accepted use is an ad every couple levels, or at worst, after every level. This game has ads popping up multiple times as you progress through a single level, and not for bonus stuff like a hint or extra lives, but each time you expand the word list, which is required to complete the level, so they are non-optional. And as each level gets more complex and increasing the amount of words involved, the more mandatory ads there will be.

Need to fix. So I really enjoy this game… But you have got to do better with a lot of things. 1. OMG the ads are out of control!!!! I understand completely that they are needed, especially when I know that I can pay for the game, but I’m not going to. But there is no reason for so many ads and how long they are. To get a hint, to shuffle, to get more words on the board, even when you have solved the board, you have to sit through so many long ads. Do you want to sit down and play for a few minutes if you’re on a break or something but you spend almost the entire time watching ads that don’t really need to be that long and that often. This definitely needs to be fixed. 2. I don’t really understand only having three lives for one whole game board. I’m a very educated person but some of the words that come up I have no idea what they are and you make three mistakes on an entire board and you’re done and to get more lives, you have to sit through another long, long ad and that’s ridiculous. 3. Not sure if this could be fixed, but I feel like touching the tiles with the words on them and having to match with another tile is very sensitive and if you accidentally click another word tile, you lose a life without even meaning to because it’s super sensitive. Again very fun word game but a lot needs to be fixed and I’ll be deleting mainly due to the ads. Thanks for letting me review.

Great concept, not well executed. The game itself is a great idea and I enjoy playing it for the most part. However, it’s easy to accidentally choose the wrong word and have a life taken—you only get 3. There should be a back button or more lives. And the ads are seriously obnoxious. There should not be an ad every time you add new words. I totally get developers need to make money on free games. I don’t mind watching ads for that reason, but this game has so many ads it makes me not want to play. It seems like you’re trying to annoy players into spending money to get rid of ads. Not cool and keeps me from wanting to give you money, to be honest.

A lot of fun but the amount of ads is insane. I understand there needs to be ads, but the amount that there are is insane. There’s an ad for literally everything and it’s unnecessary. There does not need to be an ad when you want to add words to the board (because you have to in order to complete the level) and you do not needs ads to move on to the next level. I even got an ad simply for opening the game and clicking play, I didn’t even get to the level before I got an ad. Tone it down. I understand an ad for say wanting more lives or wanting a hint once you’ve used the free ones up, but even then the ads are like a full minute long, not an exaggeration. Some of the words I have absolutely no idea what they are too so only three lives is a little low in my opinion, but it’s still fun. It’s really just the ads, and they’re all the same thing about that gossip harbor story with the green haired girl who gets kicked out of her house. At least have different ads. Would be a 5 star game if it wasn’t for the ads. And I know I said ads a lot in this review but that’s what the game is like. Ads ads ads ads ads.

Could be great but….. Fun game, the mechanics make it challenging. Unfortunately, I’m not paying $5 for it. As a result, I had to sit through nine ads, at about 30 seconds each, to finish just one level—that is: 1 ad to start the game (1), 1 ad each of three times I clicked the continue button (4), 1 ad when I ran out of lives and had to restart (5), 1 ad each of three times I clicked the continue button (8), and 1 ad when I clicked the next button when I finished. Sorry, I just can’t play a game where I spend more time watching ads than I do playing. So, in spite of the fact that you’ve made a pretty cool game, I’m leaving two stars because I’m cheap.

Fun idea, frustrating app. I like the idea of this game. The levels are challenging and the associations are great. However, the app is sub-par. The colors and layout are too simple. The buttons are sensitive and small so you have to be really precise or you’ll include a button you didn’t want and lose a life accidentally. You should also be able to shuffle the buttons once you have the connections. And the ads are long and too often. I understand having an ad in between levels, but not in the middle of the game when you add more words. I will often buy a game to avoid the ads, but this game is too cheap to waste my money on. I’ll come back in a while to see if they put more effort into it.

Fun in theory, execution is lacking. I want to start out by saying that I think this game is really fun. There are, however, a lot of things that make it unplayable. 1. There is a limited number of moves (bad on its own), but it isn’t displayed how many you have left. 2. A lives system on a word game? Really? It’s extremely annoying, especially on levels that are really long. 3. Finally, worst of all, the incredible amount of ads. As in an unskippable 30-60 second ad every minute. Worse than that, half the time, the X on the ads don’t work, so you have to restart the game and lose your progress on the level. I really do like the game, but it really needs some improvements.

Great idea- execution still definitely has kinks. The game is outstanding.. in its basic form. The sad reality is that this game has all the potential to be one of the go-to’s for all of us brain nerds, but has some serious red flags. The number, length and frequency of your ad play is far to high for a game that doesn’t have the greatest platform to begin with. By that I mean— HOLY LAG BATMAN. On top of some seriously rooted bugs, I’ve had plenty of frozen screens, lost game/level play, just plain unresponsive screen touches/taps/etc. If you put those three together— you will understand why folks will just plain move onto the next or the game that is like-minded to yours but has far less bugs and way less ad play and time. Because if you were playing and all the sudden your screen froze, and did not unfreeze itself, which led to you having to close and reopen the app— just to lead you directly into a 30-45 second ad, just for you to discover that the game didn’t account for any of the work you had done prior to the screen freezing…. Tell me you would want to play that app again.. probably not.

Ads!. I’ve played lots of games but never seen this many ads. And it’s a shame because it’s a great game. Every time you use up your chances (about 3 or 4) there’s an ad. Every time you finish a round, there’s an ad. When you start a new game or daily challenge, another ad. Not only that, but I’ve sat through ads and I still don’t get the additional categories needed to finish the game. Besides that, there are no instructions to tell me how to re-configurate the puzzle when I’ve run out of options. I know you need to make money, but I’m getting bored because I have to sit through countless commercials. I can only give you 2 stars since my rating is based more on sitting through endless ads and no game time.

i thought it would be fun but…. i downloaded this game because it looked fun and i like challenging games, but this game is just TOO frustrating. the problem is not that it’s hard, it’s that you spend 75% off the game watching ads. the hints aren’t really helpful, and of course you have to watch ads to get them. also, i have no idea what some words are, and i wish there was a way to show a definition of a word, because it’s annoying going back and forth between apps looking up definitions. it’s also way too easy to misclick and link an extra word by accident, which makes you lose a life. and to get another life— you guessed it— you have to watch an ad. just way too many ads in general.

Game needs improvements. I really like this game. I start out playing and then quickly become frustrated and quit. It’s so hard to drag the parts without grabbing other parts that don’t belong in that group. If they made it easier to group the words, it would be nice. Also if they added an undo button, it would eliminate having to start over. And if you do start over, please bring up the same board instead of a new one. I can be almost finished and then hit the wrong word and lose my last life and then have to start over on a completely different board. If there is no undo button, then give us a chance to finish a board we almost finished previously so we can not make the same mistake the second time around. It’s also hard to clear the board because if the way the words are positioned. You can’t drag a word without dragging a word that’s not supposed to be in the group. Please upgrade.

Ad-Heavy. Game Greetings. I like your game. I like it a lot. But I’m deleting it from my phone because this game is too ad-heavy. I’d be willing to keep the game if you ran a 15-second ad every 7 minutes or so of game play, or after every five levels. You have to ask yourself, which way does the user see more ads? A few through the day while they play, or zero, because the game has been deleted? And why show me ads for games I already have? And why continue to run an ad for a new game after I’ve already begun downloading it while the ad runs? Finally, I greatly appreciate the work you put in to make the game and would like to support your continued efforts. I would be willing to purchase an ad-free version if it were in the $2.00-$3.00 range and if I had full confidence that I’d never be interrupted by ads again.

Needs a few improvements. This is a really fun app! But a few improvements are needed. For example, I have had this game about two months,I play everyday, and I am still on level 3. My point is the game is really hard. Another example is that I will be doing really well. To a point where I will almost pass the level. But then it kills me and says I am ‘out of moves’. But in reality,it doesn’t even tell you how many moves you have to begin with. Either way, my point is that this game is really hard. And if you want a really easy word game, I do not recommend this app in particular

Paid $5 for no ads. Still getting ads.. I’m super annoyed that I’m receiving/having to watch ads for “unlocking” the extra level after completing a level and for getting more lives. $5 is a lot to pay for no ads ESPECIALLY when I’m still getting ads!!! Game is slightly challenging and entertaining at first because there are a lot of uncommon words like names of mountain, rivers, animals, creatures, etc. Then it gets repetitive and you do the same categories over and over and over again and then it’s boring. Also, you don’t know how many words are needed to complete a topic. Sometimes it’s 3, 6, 9, 12, etc. and some words could be used for 2 categories (example: “trunk” could be used for the flowers/trees, human body, and elephant) and you can only how many words are in each category by connecting 2 words together and letting go. Also, when swiping and doing a long sequence, it likes to add neighboring words, which takes away a life. I’d give the game 2-3 stars if they actually got rid of ALL ads when you pay FIVE DOLLARS for a no ads experience. Waste of $5!!!! Disappointing for sure.

Not good. First off, I don’t like using my iPad in portrait mode. This game has no way to rotate. Once again, too many ads. I know games ned money, yada yada yada, but forcing people to watch a lot of ads, it’s not going to increase your revenue. All it is going to do is just make people quit downloading your games. They’re not even gonna want to buy them because they see your method as exploitative. I have a system. any game that makes me watch an ad after every level, and in this game’s case I have to watch it before the level can even continue, I go ahead and delete them. With so many ads, I can’t even determine if I like the game. If I don’t know whether I like the game or not, I’m not going to shell out money for it. Games that I have purchased have burned me before to where I’m not too keen on buying more anytime soon. And frankly, I really think it’s just time for me to look for entertainment in other forms. Soon there will be no more games on the App Store.

Great potential but…. 1) Ridiculous amount of ads! 2) Watching an ad should give you three lives, not just one. 3) It’s too easy to drag your choices over the wrong one, causing you to lose a life. Space them out more. 4). All the partially completed blocks get in the way of each other, making it impossible to clear the board without having to watch countless ads. 6) Stop using obscure words. I’m 62 and there were words in this I never heard before. Makes it impossible for a younger player to attempt to play. When I, as well as others who try this game want to relax, and watching ad after ad after ad makes the game not fun, and it makes people delete it out of frustration, which I’m about to do now. Thank you for reading, and please don’t send me the canned response telling me you understand and do nothing. It’s quite disingenuous.

I’m addicted. Hi, I have been playing for a long time and I’m so addicted. But it is so HARD I love it. My brother is playing like all of his screen time (witch is 2 hours) and he is only on level 2. I will tell you how it happened. So I saw my brother play it and he said “ you should try this game" so he showed me how to play and it looked fun so I decided to try it. I loved it and I have been playing every day since. So I can’t force you to love it and try it, but I can tell you to try it and I recommend it have a great day!

Great game but way too many ads.. First off I will say this I really do like the game. It’s pretty addictive and fun to play. I rated 3 stars for two reasons. Waaaaay to many ads. I don’t mind the occasional ad. However an ad pops every time you do anything in the game. Need to add more rows to the game an ad pops up and there are usually multiple rows in a game. Need to restart boom ad pops up. Even if you have just watch an ad it will still pop up. The other thing is I don’t like having lives. What’s the point in it *shurg*. But the ads are the most annoying thing. I get that you can buy to play without ads. But honestly with this many ads it makes me want uninstall.

Fun Game. I just started playing your game. I have to say it is very addicting. It does have a lot of ads. I would like to purchase it to get rid of the ads, however, I am concerned about the repetitive categories. I’m only on level 18, and I can’t believe how many times the categories have already repeated. I keep hoping for different categories. The other thing that concerns me is the lives in the game. It’s a word game - it makes you think and strategize placement of the categories labels. Do we really need lives in this game? It would be so much more enjoyable if you didn’t have lives to worry about and you have more varied categories. Please consider removing the lives and let us just enjoy your game at our leisure. In addition, please update with more categories. It is really an incredible challenging game which I would love to continue playing. If these changes are made, I may then purchase your game. It will be worth it then. Thank you,

Not a fan of the update ):. Used to love this game and the colorful lay out. I play this on my mini iPad and used to have absolutely no problems. However , I regretfully updated it and cannot play with this new layout. The format using this device makes the words and the shadows behind them not match up. This is my biggest issues as it’s really hard to focus with the mismatch and has made the game completely miserable. The new minimalist and gray tone look is not it. I really miss the old version that had proper alignment but had colorful life to it. With this new update it doesn’t not bring the same joy and immediately makes me want to quit playing it. ):

It’s good. I don’t write very many reviews but I felt like I needed to w this game. Overall the objective of the game is cool and fun. A good game for when you need time to pass. My only complaint is the ads. You have to watch an ad before you start a level, when you add more categories, when you use a hint, when you run out of lives and when you complete the level. You’ll probably watch at least 6-10 ads (sometimes more) each level. I love to play games on my phone of all different types, and I can genuinely say that I have never played a game with as many ads as this one. There is absolutely no need to have to watch that many ads for 1 level. If they fixed the amount of ads you have to watch to complete a level, then I would give this app 5 starts.

Not as it was advertised and too many ads. I wish the game was just like how the ad advertised it as. In the ad for this game, when it lets you play, it gives a category and you tap all the words in the category until you’ve got all the words, then on to the next category and so on until you clear the board. I liked it and downloaded the app only to find out it’s absolutely nothing like the ad at all. You have to drag the words together to match categories without touching a word in the other categories and you can do several categories at once. I liked the way it was in the ad way better. I’ve never seen a word game give you “lives” and when you try to try the level again it gives you a completely different board and doesn’t actually let you retry the level you failed. I played 3 levels and spent more time watching ads than I did actually playing the game. This game definitely needs a lot of improvement/upgrades but has the potential to eventually become a fun game but so far, for me, it’s more frustrating than anything.

Has potential but could be better.. I WAS enjoying the game for what little bit I could play and would have liked to continue playing but there’s one thing that really needs to be done for people to not get sick of this game very quickly. PLEASE add an undo button or let us move the already grouped up words one or two blocks over so we don’t have to restart a bunch of times. I’ve only made it to level 3 before I inevitably uninstalled the app. I had to restart 19 times before I was done. I should not have to restart that much on ONLY level 3. Even if you have to roll ads for us to earn undos, I’m totally on board with that but just let us do SOMETHING.

Entertaining, challenging, educational, lots of ads. I downloaded this game yesterday, and I’m just on level 3. I enjoyed the levels I’ve completed thus far, but it takes me about 5 to 10 minutes to complete a level simply because I have to add more words when I don’t have enough words to complete each category. The ads are annoying. I don’t mind too much though because I understand that you have to make money. I enjoy the challenge that this game is. There are words I haven’t seen before, so I look them up and I get to learn more words. That’s a benefit of playing games like this. The tiles are sensitive, and I have to be intentional with which tiles I select so I don’t lose a life. Thanks for a great game! Edit: I’m on level 12, and I’m seeing repeat categories every time I play even on the daily challenges. As a user, this gets redundant—and I’m hoping to see new categories soon. I do like the quotes, that’s a fun feature! Thanks for a great game.

Ads make it unplayable. I’m sad to have deleted this game. I think that it would be fun and challenging but the ads make it unplayable. Depending on how quick you go through the parts of each level you could be watching a one minute unskippable ad every 30-60 seconds, I even had some ads that I couldn’t close which resulted in me having to reboot the whole app and loose my progress. I realize ads are needed, my recommendation for this company would be to either put ads on a timer situation (every 5 minutes or so, even if they’re longer ads), make your ads skippable after a few seconds, or to have ads as the extra and at the end of each level. In between each adding of words is too much. I also realize that there’s the option to purchase the no ads part, but given that I couldn’t play for a full hour with ads without having to reset the app or really actually get into the levels I’m playing due to the excessive amount of ads I can’t even say I like the game well enough to invest my own money into it. If there’s an adjustment on the frequency of ads, I’d love to try it again, but reading the responses from the creator to others I doubt it will change.

Awesome game but…. Holy moly the ads are insane. Happens too frequently. Like I get excited to play and once I’m on a roll an ad shows up and have to wait 30 seconds, which feels REAL freakin long when you’re a neurodivergent. Also, I want to add that the Gossip Harbor game ad specifically is the only ad that will make me exit out of the completely. Idk what the heck is up with these horribly stressful scenarios but as a mother with PPD watching these scenarios of a struggling young mother living in the cold with a young child and newborn tryna survive is a bit much to watch. Not to mention over and over and over again. Phew. I’d totally consider an ad free version.

Truly excessive ads. This game is incredibly fun and unique but to get through one level I have to watch upwards of 5 unskippable ads - one at the beginning of the level, once everytime i add words to the board (3 or 4 times per level) and one on completing or failing the level. This number would be exorbitantly high for any single level of basically any phone game but when you take into consideration that a level of this game would take about two ads worth of time to finish without interruption, you can start to see how frustrating the ads really are. I am the type of person who will pay to get rid of ads but when I’m watching ads for twice or thrice as long as i’m playing, I start to feel like devs should be paying me. I have to delete this game at this point and it’s unfortunate because i have really enjoyed the gameplay.

Needs a major change.. The game isn’t bad, very stimulating for the brain. But because of how the game is played, they make it really easy to lose. You have to chain words together, and one of the directions you can use is a diagonal. But because you can do this, sometimes it wouldn’t register as a diagonal and add the word below it and then next to it (in the direction of the diagonal). The main issue with this is because of how your finger is placed, it often covers words that you’ve already selected or surrounding words that you need to include in the chain, meaning that you’d have no idea that it’s done that until you lose a life/heart which becomes very annoying because you’re losing a life not from your own error, but because the game cannot properly distinguish a diagonal move to a regular down/up move. If it was much more like the ad that got me to download the game, where it’s just clicking words instead having to actually chain them together, this game would be a lot better. Also way too many ads, but voluntary ads and involuntary ads.

Strategy play at its best!. I love puzzles, word games, anything to make me think. This game can be a challenge until you can make a habit of setting your association groups in ways you can play around them. Yes, I get frustrated when I must replay a level, but it is definitely possible to get through the levels. The ads are a bit much, but I understand that it helps to keep games free as well as keep the updates coming. I’m unsure how many levels there are, so I don’t know if purchasing the ad removal would be worth it for me. As such, I play until the ads frustrate me and then I do something else for a while (you remember hobbies other than games, right?), then I can return and enjoy my games again. Advertised Differently. When originally advertised, you could group the words by simply clicking on the ones you want to group. When you actually play the game, you have to link them which make you not want to play the game anymore.

Why is it so hard?!. I just started playing and I thought “This game is going to be fun and easy” but when I played a couple levels, it was harder then I suspected. I couldn’t even get past level 3 without seeing ‘No more moves!’ Or, ‘No more lives!’ So I got so frustrated, I just deleted the app. Had higher expectations for this game. Also because some of the things don’t make sense. I really thought it would be like the ads. 😭

TOO Many Ads!. Stop all the long ads they take away from the game. There are more ads then game play, for every action a player does there is a 30 - 60 second ad. The ads also auto open your search engine - so wrong on so many different levels. TOO MANY ADS is most common complaint about this game, listen to your players they are fed up with the constant bombardment of ads. Players are leaving this game in droves. The game concept itself is great!

Too many ads. Press an action button you get an ad, finish the level you get an ad. Not designed with people who have large/thick fingers in mind that don’t have a touch screen pen. Other than that it’s ok, to either numb the mind with repetitiveness or wake the mind up a bit and make it think, if having a bit of a slow day

More variation. Nice game, good foundation, however there is not enough variation in the groups of associations, with each level repeating group titles and answers. Also I paid to not have adds but only some were removed. Disappointing. Cfgbniuyhklprscft

Too many ads!. It is frustrating that if you get stuck on a level, you are given the option to either watch an ad to get an extra life, or to restart the level, then if you opt not to watch an ad and to restart the level, the app proceeds to then force you to watch an ad anyway. If you pass the level, you then have to watch another ad to proceed to the next level, I’m deleting the app after writing this, absolute waste of time.

Good but one thing. This is a fun app except for the fact that cuts really hard to drag one thing to another without accidentally connecting another genre and losing a heart. (if that makes sense). But apart from that i love the game!

Hate it for a different reason. Who cares about ads, just play offline, no ads. And once you know the strategy for where to move things it’s a piece of cake, however, the word combinations are all the same! Dogs, cosmetics, US states, types of boats, bleeeeh boring. Every level just the same words. AI could have done a better job of this game.

Too many adverts. Even for a free game: there is literally an advert every time you add the next round of words to the playing field and every time you finish the level. I’d understand a new advert every time you finish the level: but the fact that you have to sit through four rounds of ads to even complete a round without any extra bonuses/rounds is crazy.

Almost missed it. The bad spelling in the Ad almost kept me from trying this game. I like the concept. Im not sure about the linking style and it gives little learning time for a beginner. The tutorial is minimal to say the least. Not sure if I will keep playing, I play to destress not to be stressed by unknown limits.

Repetitive. Very fun game, visually pleasing but the words are VERY repetitive. I’m only level 13 and I feel like each level so far has had the same words just jumbled differently. Would also be fun if you could customise the appearance of the board (unless i’m just missing that somewhere)

Can’t even!. Was really excited to play so downloaded app. Can’t get past stage 3/6 of how to play because it froze. Uninstall and reinstall 3 times still the same each time. Very disappointed.

Terrible Game. This game is one of the worst I have ever played from the App Store. The functionality is woeful! Unless I am missing something, it is impossible to link some of the associated words together and also link categories of words with other like categories of words when there is a word or category in the lineage. Deleted the app after a few goes at it.

Test size decreases as words added. When new words are added, the words at the top of the page become smaller and unaligned to the grid. By the time a third set of words are added, the words at the top are completely unreadable. I’ve gotten to level 3 and had to give up as it is unplayable. Please fix this.

Poorly designed. I was genuinely excited to download this game, but I’m not satisfied with it. When I try and drag one word to the other, usually it goes onto the wrong word, even if they are facing each other, which causes me to lose a life (you have three lives per level). Making it harder to win every level than it should be. Another thing, THE ADS! I get bombarded with ads constantly and it’s super annoying 30% of the game is probably ads. So in conclusion, this game isn’t good and it’s poorly designed, I don’t recommend.

Too easy to accidentally touch a wrong word.. It’s so easy on the iPad to touch a wrong word as you draw a line to your next association. Then you go straight back to the beginning again. Not much of a challenge doing the same words over and over.

Great concept, mediocre execution. This is a great game, but it reuses the same words/topics really quickly so it becomes repetitive. Seems easy enough to use a broader selection of words? As well, it’s really easy to accidentally connect words you didn’t mean to click and lose lives. That mechanic needs to be refined.

UI could be better. It is a bit difficult to do a cornerwise join so you have to go back and forth often to correct which gets annoying. It wont rotate to landscape on iPad so I can’t use my ipad stand. Very easy at the lower levels.

Lines don’t connect and weird words.. Many of the words don’t exist in English - what is “dryercing”? And many of them fit into multiple categories but it counts as wrong. And also, the lines don’t connect properly.

These games have no balance and is a disadvantage to the advertisers if people aren’t even going to be in the game because of oversaturation.

Mixed feelings. I love this game but it’s annoying with how many adds there are and it’s also annoying how you can’t move the thingy once you’ve made it into a group otherwise you need something else to match it with to move it. It’s also annoying when you can’t move it because when another one gets in front of it, you are blocked of and can’t match anything with it which makes you lose the level.

Vies. Le nombre de vie gâche le jeu. Il faudrait avoir l’option avec et sans vies. Ça devient frustrant de recommencer seulement parce que tu ne connais pas les sortes de serpent, ou toutes les sortes de chapeau… tu arrives à la fin et tu dois recommencer au complet, ça donne seulement le gout de supprimer le jeu…

Big bug problem. This is a nice game if you don’t have to spend so much time on the levels. You can get them but it won’t you combine in the same way you put them together. Way toooo many ads for this game takes away from making the game really good and enjoyable.

A few problems. I have been trying to beat level 3 for about 10 minutes and I can’t because their is always another group in the way of the group I’m trying to do. Every way I do it I can’t get it to finish the level. Also their are way too many ads right after or to get hints or even an extra heart.

Ten star game. Fabulous game. Not easy but you just have to pay attention because sometimes a word can go under 2 subjects, ie: calf as a body part and as an animal. I’m addicted and can’t stop playing every time I have a minute (that turns into an hour)!

I love word games. I was really excited to try this game. The game play is awkward on a phone. Maybe better with an iPad. You have to connect words diagonally but it is too easy to connect words horizontally or vertically that you didn’t want to connect when you are trying to connect diagonally. You can’t zoom in or out. It also kept telling me that I was out of moves when I didn’t see a move count and I hadn’t lost lives. Cute idea. Execution needs improvement.

Fun but needs upgrades. The games is fun. The way it places the tiles when you “merge” them adds a little challenge, which is nice. But it started repeating groups of items after level 8 maybe? It was very early on and now I’m on level 17 and every single group was a repeat from earlier levels. Add more item groups please!

Fun but wish there were more groups. It’s very enjoyable except for the inordinate amount of ads…but I wish it could be a little harder…or maybe it does get harder and I’m just not there yet…

Ads are crazy. This game is very enjoyable. I get that in order for it to be free they need ads. However, the ads are CRAZY. You can’t even add more tiles without getting an ad! It would also be helpful if, once you had a group of items like all the hats, for example, that you could freely move them anywhere on the board.

SO many ads.. Multiples per level. Like it would be one thing if there was one after every level but there is literally up to 3 ads per level. It’s ridiculous. It is otherwise fun, which is why it’s getting at least 3 stars, but the amount of ads has knocked off a couple stars.

If you don’t pay, the ads are long and a few are explicit which is the first time I’ve ever seen that. Ads should be more carefully chosen according to the rating of the game.

Love it, but needs more categories. I love the game. The first few levels were very challenging. I had to Google some words to know what they were. Now at level 55 it seems its just the same 10-12 categories on repeat. I'm still enjoying it, but new categories would be nice.

Nearly there. Would like 2 features 1. Being able to click and hold instead of drag I can’t see all the words under my finger and when you try to look you could accidentally lift and it will mess up ur cluster 2. Which brings us to #2 an undo button since these types of mistakes are common and not seeing all the words

Repetitive. This game is fun for a short while, but then you get to where you memorized the groups bc it’s the same words over and over and over again. Some players complained about the positioning of words you need to connect and that’s about the only thing left that’s challenging, so I like it. I have learned a few new words, as well.

Great Game. This is a really good game as it challenges you mentally and make you think but I do believe that there are too many ads. I feel like every second there is an ad popping up and I spend more time looking at ads then playing the game. I understand that ads are a way for content creators to create revenue but it’s a little too much.

Totally love this game and concept BUT..... The only thing killing the 5 start rating is the lack of categories. I'm on level 27 and the repetition would be fine if it came with ADDITIONAL groups. I also realize you're managing a bunch of different languages and it probably takes a long time to make them all the same. Still happy for the game itself 😁

Fun but touchy. This game is a fun word game and helps increase Vocabulary and word associations. However I do not like how touchy it is especially when connecting blocks that are diagonal. Many times it errors and connects the box next to or above which then costs you a life. No matter hard you try to trouble check before letting go, it happens. Would be better if you could just tap the boxes you want to connect vs click and drag

I will now DELETE THIS GAME.. So this is what you do. First you bombard us with absurd and hideous video ads for every time we get it wrong, but it was slightly bit bearable since you allotted us 3 hints per Video. But now you have taken that away from us and you think we should watch MORE VIDEOS for 1 hint. NOPE, NOT ME. I want to play the games, not watch videos all the time. So I’m making room for the people who like watching the same videos over and over and over and over and over and over again! Btw, the star is now a triple minus

Not what I expected. When I saw the ad for this game it showed choosing matches by touching each of them and they changed colors. Then I downloaded the game and to make matches I had to drag from match to match, often times with my finger blocking where I needed to drag, sliding over an incorrect choice inadvertently. Also, it’s the same categories, words and matches, over and over and over. This game is now too boring and the action too imprecise. Your ad was WAY MISLEADING so I will be deleting it - not too much fun at all.

Fun and challenging. This game is both fun and challenging. The only downside is all of the ads while you’re playing a level to add more words and then again after you complete the level. It would be much better if the ads were only after you complete a level or have to restart the level.

Makes me think. Good for everyone. Some words could have a couple of definitions, but you figure it out. Let’s see how many commercials we have to endure. That will be the deciding factor for me. Too many commercials, delete app. Enjoy!

Too many ads. My main issue are the ads. There’s way too many. Even if you clear the board, you get an ad and that makes me not want to play. Also I cleared the board and wound up having a whole new list there’s no counter as to how many associations were are left.

too many ads😒. the game is very fun when you actually get to play it but there are so many ads all the time. when you finish a level, ad. when you’re playing a level and you have to click the + button to get more tiles, ad. if you lose all your lives you have the option to either watch an ad for another life or restart the level. even if you choose to restart, there’s an ad. every single ad is over a minute long and it’s the same ads over and over. wastes so much time. it’s extremely annoying.

… ok. So I’m on level 3 and it’s very addicting but there’s so many adds and you can’t get past level 3 and the adds keep getting longer and you can’t skip them and it won’t tell us how many moves we have CAN YOU JUST TELL US thats why we can’t pass level 3 and the game is surprisingly easy and I’m only 9 even though idk half the things and a printer why does it go with games like I don’t get it ( this is probably the longest review I ever wrote) so I give it a 2 star rating

Suggestion. I think every word should have a small question mark ❓ so if you don’t know a word you can click the question mark or a search bar on the game levels that when you search the word it will give a the meaning of it

False advertising. The ad for this game shows categories a person is to gather. Then you TAP then words that fit. The actual games did not give me categories, I had to decide the categories, plus I had to drag to each answer which is not possible with out connecting wrong words. Also, game icons covered some of the words so I could not see what they were. Did not take me long to uninstall the app.

Love it but. I really like this game but there’s too many ads and it says out of moves when I'm close to finishing a level and i think it should at least show how many moves you have / have left, but overall its a really good game.

Okay but …. I enjoyed the first few levels but the words keep repeating so it’s basically just playing the same level over and over again. The adds also glitch and won’t close so I had to close the app many times. If the words and categories didn’t repeat I’d continue playing but there’s no challenge and no fun after the first few levels. I deleted it.

Fun but…. I agree with others reviews. This game is fun however there are a lot of words that most people wouldn’t know so searching the definitions can get annoying. Also the lines to match are very sensitive. Because the ovals are also small, I often make stupid mistakes. I wish the bubbles were bigger and there was an undo button.

Too repetitive!!. I really like this game’s concept and setup, but why does it use the same categories and words over and over? There are so many categories that could be used and they should get harder as you progress. Maybe I haven’t progressed far enough, but so far it’s repetitive and I know I’ll lose interest soon. I will gladly send a list of new categories and words if that would help :)

Okay. This game would probably be better on a larger screen. While the idea behind it is fun, it can be hard in actuality. I find it pretty difficult to connect the words. It tends to attach extra words and then takes a life if you don’t notice. Or if you do notice, sometimes you have to undo the connection multiple times before it selects only what you wanted.

Good game but needs improvements. This is a fun and challenging game because you have to be strategic about the way you connect the words. However, it’s easy to accidentally connect two words because of how small they are. Also, an undo button with 3 undos would be nice.

Challenging. I love how this game is an actual challenge. The only thing I’d like to see if there was an undo option. My sausage thumbs don’t always select all the options. My biggest dream is having less ads.

Spelling is important. I actually just downloaded this game to comment there’s a misspelling in the ad- “FRUTS”. I ended up playing it and liking it, but I cannot emphasize how important spelling is, especially when advertising a word game. I thought the game would be a dud for that reason alone. You might lose potential customers that way.

Add dis function. I was up to level 50 and the app started to stop working for some reason and I uninstalled the app then reinstalled it and I had to start all over again from the beginning. This is discouraging but I alike the game so I started over again. I hope this doesn’t happen again. Kind regards Maria

Unplayable ad farm. This game is unplayable due to the number of ads. Even within rounds, in order to advance you are subjected to ridiculously long ads, many of which are for “dating” sims and are borderline porn. If you check a text and come back? Ad. If you move up a level? Ad. If you actually try to use the “add words” mechanic necessary to play the game? Ad. I know devs have to support themselves somehow, but come on. Don’t waste your time on this one.

Pretty good. There are a few words I wasn’t familiar with, which is good. I’m not seeing any new words after level 10 or so. My biggest complaint is the ads. I expect some ads with a free game, but I find the number of ads excessive. I’m not sure I find it worth the $4.99 for the ad free version

Has potential. This seems like a cool and thought out game. It would be so much better if it wasn’t so easy to accidentally highlight words you don’t mean to. It’s hard going diagonally and not hitting the words around it… which then takes away a heart, and only having 3… I lost level one because of accidental highlights :-/

Buttons too small. The game is fun and challenging but I often lose lives because my finger accidentally selects an unrelated word due to the size of the buttons. It would be better if you could click one word at a time and avoid annoying mistakes.

Ads galore. This game is fun and challenging, BUT there are so so so many ads! I understand needing ads, but every single time you get new words (4+) times per level?? To continue a level? To start a new level? There is also an ad banner on the screen at all times. Even the skips LE ads require 10-20 secs per ad. Very frustrating!

Weak. Too many ads, even just to play a single round without needing hints, making mistakes, etc. And some of the items could have more than one association, so smart people are penalized. Or maybe you are just relying on luck to group associated words into different groups. Controls don't work well. No apparent benefit to finding an optimal solution.

Great Game. Absolutely love this game, it can be challenging at times but it's still a lot of fun. I do currently have a problem where i finished level 100 and now I can't play any further I'm not sure if that's all the levels or not but I just simply can't play anymore 🤷‍♀️

Different word game - clear board via grouping. This is a nice change from the word games I’ve been playing. Big picture with a strategy component. I just starting playing and I like it.

Good but repetitive. The game itself is good, but it needs more types of associations. It’s incredibly boring to see the exact same sets over and over again every level. Especially because once you know every list, there’s no challenge in figuring out which words are meant to go together.

Fun but more ads than playtime. Wow, this game had such potential to be of my daily commute go to games but the ads are totally out of sync with the amount of game time. Such a shame I have to delete this one. I don’t mind ads after each level but to pass a level there’s a minimum of 5 ads. The one that’s especially annoying is when you reopen the game before you even play.

Keeps Your Mind Engaged. I just downloaded this game yesterday. I can’t stop playing it. Once you understand the play, it keeps you playing, strategizing, and wanting to get to the next level!

Its Hard But Fun. I love the game is difficult but not too difficult to wear you want to give up. However I do wish the game gave us more than 3 lives and i wish that we couldn't "run out of moves". I don't really understand that out if moves part because there is no way to access how many moves we have left so its just confusing. Im on level 4 btw but I cant pass it since it keeps telling me i'm "out of moves".

Repetitive. I enjoyed the game for about 24 hours/17 levels, and then deleted it. The categories are repeated level after level, so once you are familiar with them, the game doesn't present many challenges. If the categories did not repeat, I would have continued to enjoy the game!

Overall: aggravating; not even fun. The fact that if you accidentally overlap it makes you lose a life, the buttons are so small that you have to overlap because you can’t even see. You get a ad every time you lose all your life’s (which is very fast if you constantly accidentally overlap), which makes the game aggravating. It’s not even hard, but the fact you mess up every time makes the game hard, hard to not uninstall, not even worth your time.

Great concept, terrible implementation. Game concept is great. Playing is very frustrating. First, the amount of ads for crappy games is just abusive. Spend more time sitting through the same obnoxious ads than actually playing. Next ads often freeze and have to restart. Next you can make associated groups but can’t complete some because the placement of when new words get added are blocked by other items that can’t be completed by.
