Glitchy/Wont Allow Acct Deletion. This has quick summary’s that don’t play all the way through but will pause and loop. Very frustrating. Not only did I cancel the trial (only hours in) but tried to delete my profile. It didn’t allow me to delete even after logging out and logging back in giving me nothing but errors. Very frustrating. Also, tech/app support takes you to a general signup. No help to be had. Run.

Can’t wait. So far so good I like the on boarding process! Can’t wait to see how may books I can “read”

Great app. They’ve made it so much easier to get through books!

AI slop. Poor and inconsistent ai generated summaries of books. Often glaze over important topics or do a poor job of explaining key concepts. They offer a 7 day trial and tell you that you’ll get a notification before being charged. Never got a notification. By the time I realized it was a day late. Only way to contact them is by email. I’ve sent 3 and they’ve not responded so I’m stuck paying $90 for a garbage product.

Background use. It’s a great app, the only thing I can ask for is if you can please update it so I can leave the app and still listen to the audio, sometimes I like to listen to it while I am at work or exercising.

Time Saver. I love books, but I never have time now a days to finish all the books. Definitely wouldn’t take away from a great novel book, but for a motivational book this is the perfect summary app for that.

App does not work on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. I wanted to love this app but can’t because it’s unusable from the very first installation. Does not work on my 16 Pro Max; videos would pause, or simply would not progress after 2/3 minutes of viewing. Closing out the app didn’t fix the issue either. This was so disheartening, I finally deleted the app.

Science Fiction Category is non-existent. Downloaded this app because I was interested, but I should’ve known that the fiction selection would be steered heavily towards more female-centric interests like Dark Romance and Romantic Comendies. There aren’t any Science Fiction selections so this makes the app basically worthless for me. Wish they would have shown the book offerings prior to making me download to app, sign up for a free trial, and answer a bunch of questions when there are zero offerings of what male readers would actually like. Even the Sports fiction selection is all Sports Romance. Maybe this app is good if you’re a female reader or looking into self-help books, otherwise steer clear.

deleted it halfway through installation. Too many questions and got me feeling suspicious. I don’t care what happened it is you keep asking odd with no one in sight I’m deleting it.

Great book summarizer. I absolutely love the BookWatch app! It has an amazing selection of books to explore, and the video summaries make it so easy to find my next read. Super convenient and fun to use—definitely a must‑have for any book lover!

Learning for visual people. This app actually very helpful for my ADHD and learning disability I’ve always had struggles listening to a book or reading a book to and stay focused and pertain the knowledge and keep it in mind and to remember it this app works very well I’m share it.

Inconsistent videos. Don’t get me wrong, I like this app a lot, and the idea of it but I am having some inconsistence issues. For example, I put on the video for “Rich Dad, Poor Dad.” it skips past things every few seconds atop of that I had put on another video about healthy marriage, and the video was showing things relating into the stock market. At first, I thought that was just an intro for something, but no, it’s literally a whole video of them showing me the stock market.

I like it. I like the app a lot its getting me into "reading" more. The only issue is the search, i dont know if its just a bug i have but when i try to search nothing pops up. so if the only books they have is on the discover page or if its glitched i dont know but thats the one issue i hope is resolved.

Good👍🏼. I mean it’s a straight forward app , there are book illustrations of course you have to pay but this man did everything on his own so it would be logical to pay. I think it’s only 80 a year plus the about of information you get out of it is a good self investment

Good idea, poor execution. I would imagine the purpose of this app is convenience. And when it works, it is convenient to quickly access the main points of, for me, non fiction books I am deciding whether or not to invest in. However, when I am spending a large portion of my time trying to navigate glitches which make books inaccessible, or long periods of freezing or loss of sound or other such things, the time involved x frustration involved formula is not worth it to me. I’m largely wanting to access productivity and marketing books so it doesn’t take much for me to realize my time is better spent elsewhere. Disappointing

visualization is way off. I think this is a very good app on a summary aspect. The problem is the visualization part of the app is horrible. I’m not gonna go too much into detail, but if the developers ever take time to research. They should check out the Bible and see how those guys visualize what they are saying. keep up the good work guys, but not worth my money yet.

I wish this app existed earlier. It helps me learn and consume interesting content so much easier than any other method

Great idea but…. I love the idea the problem is the quality of the animation is so bad I find that I’m exerting most of my energy trying to find the connection between what’s being said and what I’m seeing. The visuals should help anchor what is being said not distract from it. Instead someone just took whatever animation Gemini generated and went with it like they were completing a checklist rather than making sure the animation was actually helpful. But I get it, it’s important to get the app out even before it’s perfect.

Do not do the trial. I clicked on the 7 day trial and found there is no way to cancel or it’s hidden well. They continue to try to charge me. Their support email is undeliverable. Mostly the product is bad. I would give it negative stars if it were possible. They are preying on people with ADHD which is atrocious. I do not recommend dealing with these people. Be aware.

Hijacked First Rating. Very intrigued by the concept as it has been increasingly difficult to find quiet time to focus on reading. However, since I haven’t used the app for its designed purpose I can’t give a completely honest review. The reason why is during the onboarding process I was asked for a rating and was unable to bypass without giving a rating. Star 1 for a great concept, Star 2 for a thoughtful and simple onboarding process. IF the functionality of the app is as good as advertised, Star 3. If it’s above and beyond, Star 4. Allow users to bypass the preemptive rating, Star 5.

I like it. Gonna give this a chance but the seven principles for making marriage work is the completely wrong book in the video. I opened it and it was a video about investing

AI Garbage. It’s actually more distracting to watch the AI generated images that go along with the audio. Plus the AI text to speech is not great. And on top of all of that half of the videos cut off abruptly and don’t play for the full length of time that it says on how many minutes before you click on it to watch it. I’m glad they had a free trial because if I paid for this and then had to deal with customer service trying to get my money back, I would be so angry.

Very impressive. Paired with note taking or reciting information this app is extremely powerful for individuals with the desire to increase their knowledge, productivity, self confidence and many more areas

Highly Recommend. I started off on the free trial and haven’t had any complaints so far. The summaries are great and help to prompt me to actually read the books in depth with an idea of what I’m getting into.

Tread Carefully. The visuals were a bit too arbitrary for me as they focused more on the how the information is being delivered and not on the substance itself. Seemed to me like it might be AI functionality and understandable, it would be an enormous amount of work to actually put the substance into visual format. It just didn’t work for me. My poor rating was based on the fact that although I canceled the subscription before the trail period ended, they still attempted to charge me the yearly subscription fee. I don’t appreciate business being conducted in such a manner. Edit: I did cancel the subscription in settings, under subscriptions. They still continue to try and charge me for a yearly subscription. I have attempted to contact them in every way that they provide and my emails come back as undeliverable. Buyer beware

AI garbage. 7 Habits of Highly Effective People was my first “book” - it was completely out of order & focused on things that weren’t as forward in the actual book. Some visuals made no sense. I started watching a couple of videos of fiction books I had already read and I’m a big fan of and they were awful. This is such a great idea, but horribly executed. I definitely would not pay $89/year for this. I cancelled my free trial the same day.

Works very good but , Not family share compatible.. It works great. The only thing that will keep me from keeping that is not being able to share the app and subscription with my family it’s not like a book that you buy it once and becomes something for the whole family to share and benefit from, other than that it’s a great app.

Great. The app is great, my only problem is that I’m rarely on my phone since I work on my computer. I just hope that there will be a website coming soon. That would be a great investment.

App has major issues. I bought the year subscription thinking I’d love this app so much! Well I’ve listened to a few self help books, but when I search for books to read it says they are on the app, but then plays a different (incorrect book) in place of the book I actually want to listen to. Major bugs to fix with this app…don’t buy it! It’s a waste of money.

So far so good. Such short stories very brief and to the point. It really makes you think about something’s to change in your life.

Terrible Customer Support. The concept is nice, I used the trial, I tried to cancel the free trial so I would not be charged. I emailed them immediately to cancel which is within my 30-day money back guarantee and of course when you email them there is no response. Hopefully they will actually respond but it’s been 10 days since I’ve emailed them and I got nothing, so will attempt to email again.

What works. I am a full time caregiver for my wife and am limited on quiet time so this will definitely work for me. Thank you!

App Doesn’t Work. Saw an ad, liked the concept, signed up for free trail. Then got looped into an $80/year subscription for an app that doesn’t even work. Every book starts several minutes into the narration and some titles do not match the video. Incredibly disappointed and unable to get a refund. HUGE waste.

Good idea but flops. You get jammed into a subscription to even play anything. I did the 7 day free trial and canceled in my settings a few hours later. (I be damned if they still charge me 7 days from now) The summaries are not hitting home and the animation doesn’t go with what’s being said. It’s Ai with no one doing quality control or any quality assurance to make sure it even makes sense. Sloppy.

Good but could be great. Love the concept easy to use very obviously heavily ai generated content. Could be ok but the little mistakes and voice changes take away and some of the animation looks pretty funny. Looking forward to an updated model.

The worst user experience I’ve ever had. I have subscribed to this app and I was eager to use it, however not even a week later the app logged me out and wouldn’t even give me an option to log back in, just wanted me to subscribe again, because of this I wrote an email to the support team back in August because they were still charging me. I couldn’t even cancel the subscription using my apple subscription area because they signed me up using a different email than my apple account. Now it’s 3 months being charged and I can’t even cancel the subscription and no one has replied to my email. I’m very disappointed.

This is awesome!!. I love learning but hate sitting down and reading. I have had this app for maybe 3 or 4 hours and I have learned so much about so many different things including myself!! Love this app. Yay!!

just don’t do it.. The app itself wasn’t what I thought it was. I wasn’t interested in continuing to use it. However, I couldn’t cancel my free trial, the app was stuck on the “free trial” screen and I couldn’t do anything else.. Sent an email and they responded the next day and said they canceled it but they still charged me for a year and will not respond to emails about refunding me. It’s been over a week and they will not respond to me.

Horrible. This app is awful. I downloaded it thinking it might be a good thing for me, I don’t have a lot of time to read and I’m a little more of a visual learner. I started the 7day trial and found that this is AI generated garbage. The images do not have anything to do with what is being read and there are all kinds of weird words with misspelling and it’s so much more of a distraction than helpful. I ended up forgetting to cancel my trial and was charge 90 DOLLARS for a subscription, I went through apples report a problem process to request a refund for an app I do not use and have been repeatedly denied a refund by the company. Do not download this app. I have no idea how it has such high reviews. I can only assume the developers are creating or paying for fake reviews. This app is a COMPLETE SCAM

Very good App. I used to cringe for hours trying to read chapters and pages thoroughly only to be bored and not finish reading the whole thing book but with this all the whole chapter and story is told animated and fast with details k didn’t notice reading normally

Garbage app. I got charged the same day for the full year even after canceling. Wouldn’t recommend because it’s not worth $112 for a year especially for just trying it. Contact both Apple and Bookwatch, apple tried to help but never heard anything from Bookwatch. Ended up just eating the $112. Beware!!!

Great idea. Great idea but doesn’t have many mainstream books available like game of thrones or lord of the rings. Would be better if you can watch any book you want

Quick and efficient. This is very helpful for someone like me that is a slow reader and doesn’t focus well. So much to learn and a much more efficient way for me to accomplish learning.

Greatest productivity app ever!. Since they launched the movie style videos I cannot stop watching. The best part is you can request any book they might not have and they will add it to their library quickly

wrong video linked to book. Saw an ad on social media and loved the premise but the very FIRST book I found and went into had a video about investing and the book was “The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work”. I deleted the ios app and redownloaded and it’s still wrong…

Great idea. Great idea, poor execution. There are an immense amount of bugs in the app. The videos freeze half of the time they are playing so you can’t actually watch anything. The quizzes give questions that are irrelevant, and some say ‘incorrect’ to all four answer choices, even the correct answer. It does not take you to the next question, just keeps you in a loop of pages. Doesn’t work seamlessly with itself within the app. Will be fantastic once they actually get it working properly.

Ai slop, incoherent gibberish.. Apparently book summaries are being generated by ai with little to no oversight. The result is gibberish narration, sentences in pseudo English that don’t match the video. For example 7 Habits of Highly Successful people, it’s complete gobbledegook. There’s no way to search for a book or choose which books you would like to view, just ones that the algorithm allows you to view from the small library they’ve created so far.

Charged me without giving free trial. I understand why it was done because if I would have had a chance to preview the app with free trial I would have not subscribed. Which I didn’t get a chance to preview for a free trial because they charged instantly and Apple would not return my money. About the app which is false advertising because it’s not a movie but a cartoon animation. Great idea but with ai video accessibility today I would expected a better viewing experience. Please give me my money back!!!

Misleading!. They made it look like you could select the book you wanted to read and the app would magically turn it into a movie. I’m not interested in reading THEIR selection of books!
