I want to give it 4.5 stars because of this issue. This game is pretty fun and worth the download but what is kind of annoying is when the game randomly crashes. It can be during a battle or getting a new hero.

Broken shaders make this unplayable. I installed the game, and from the beginning, the character shaders overlap and block the UI and dialog. Most of the characters bodies are obscured most of the time, and i cant read very much of the story because the parts of the characters that are supposed to be in shadow are blocking the subtitles. Cant play this game.

The ad in this game can not be turn off completely. Every time I move to the lobby, the notification always appears

Male characters are an endangered species. Very nice graphics, animations and voice acting. Gameplay is fairly fun but feels a bit hollow and empty. Also needs new modes and gameplay. What made me quit however, is that this game did what made me quit so many others. It started as a mixed gender game with both male and female characters (tho there were always a few more females and males often limited to low rarity). Now, as it progresses the devs must think that sales are low and said “waifus!”, making every new and limited character female and making nearly all the important story characters and protagonists companions female like a wanna be sword art or something. Devs think this will increase revenue cause “only waifus sell tons!”. This is false and shown clearly by games like starrail and genshin making many attractive husbando characters that sometimes outsell the female ones. The game started mixed with male and female, suddenly shifting to one side is actually REMOVING a chunk of your fanbase that’s into husbandos. It always makes them less money and they start shutting down soon lol.

Don’t play if you have iPhone X. This game is pretty much unplayable if you have iPhone X. I’m not sure about other device but this game loves to crash. I’ve experienced at least 20+ crashes playing 2 hours on my phone. They need to spend more time fixing these crashing problem. It’s been an issue for along time. Crashing last stage of the fight makes you wanna quit.

Needs more polish before even releasing this game in the first place.. Yes, most of us know this game is incredibly unpolished, so many awkward movement cycles when the characters walk, sometimes attack, and just being idle. Yet my main point is the crashes, the game crashes wayy too much even on an iPhone 15. So basically, the only reason you even download this game is to just login for the free rewards. Otherwise the gameplay is too clonky for atleast a select few of people including me. Sorry mates, the “Epic 7 Sequel” isn’t gonna click for a looong while lads. Dont get me started with the gacha rates, its a huge topic others already explained in the Most Critical review section.

Interesting but too many problems. Played for about 45 minutes before game crashed and lost all my progress, restarted and linked my account right away this time, but game still crashes frequently. I have to replay several stages because my game will crash in the middle of a stage.

ALMOST perfect. For starters, ignore those people who call this game a cash grab and an exact copy of Epic 7. Going back to my review, I keep having issues with the game crashing after a few minutes of playing. I want to give this game 5 stars, but until then, it’ll be 4 stars.

Could be better. Game looks good, story is unique and surprisingly engaging, and the game is fun overall, but it makes the same mistake so many gachas have made before it. It makes the summon currency dry up within a few days of playing, making you grind gems agonizingly slowly and sapping the fun out of everything. Was nice while enjoying the newbie benefits but without them it’s just not worth the time and effort

Higher the ether reward amount. Please higher the amount of ether you get as a reward, and more chance to get it from logging in,and also I wish you could use coin to draw for characters , because it seems like coin are kinda useless

Battle system good, setting/characters are bad. Good: Battle system is a turn-based 4-member party that tweaks and builds upon the Epic Seven formula, so it should be very familar to those coming here from Smilegate's main game Bad: Characters are bland/generic and MC is an insufferable cringelord typical of some trashy cash-grab isekei anime. The stereotypical harem thrust upon said MC seconds into the tutorial do nothing to help the situation either. This is all immediately apparently at least, and so lets potential players decide quickly whether or not they'll invest their time Deleted the game at the end of the tutorial so can't comment on the gear/grinding reqs but I'd expect that to be similar to E7 as well.

They Did Not Learn From Epic Seven. A truly terrible game with baffling design decisions. The developer clearly did not learn from their previous game. OUTERPLANE is even more grindy than it’s predecessor. Tutorials are badly done and explain none of the mechanics clearly. The combat is basically copy & pasted from the previous game….among many other things. The monetization of the game is also atrocious, whatever you do, DO NOT give them a single dime via the cash shop. To further add insult to injury, the developer claims to have increased 3-star gacha rates via a patch, but this was clearly a lie and already shown to not be the case. Don’t waste your time with this obvious cash grab.

Lost everything. My account got randomly deleted and lost SO MUCH that I can’t even be bother to ever play again, no matter what I do I can’t seem to get it back. Several characters, gear, progress, all lost. Even saved up a large amount of gems for future banners, all gone. Never experienced this issue playing any other game, so I’m beyond disappointed.

Epic 7 sequel. I put in about 3-4 years daily with Epic 7 and still believe that it’s one of the very best games of its type. I had no idea Outerplane was a thing, but stumbled on it accidentally. Lo and behold it is essentially Epic 8! Different—apparently unconnected storyline—but the rule set, artistic style, terminology, workflow, etc. are all streamlined and refined versions of what was in 7. It looks stunning. A big graphical refresh, and the special move sequences look amazing, though I do slightly miss the hand drawn animation. There are fewer characters, but it’s just launching and I have no doubt that there will be plenty to come. The only flaw is maybe it’s too much like E7? I do hope they have some fresh directions to take it, and don’t just clone every feature. So far I find the story a bit better in Outerplane. E7’s story really got bogged down by season 3. It’s cool that the new story is a little simpler to track so far. Anyway, I fully expect to spend a year or more with OP. Highly recommended for veteran E7 fans!

What an improvement!!!. As most are saying it is the 2nd coming of Epic 7. What I will say is they learned from everything that made Epic 7 bad. Beautiful characters and artwork, great story, lots to do and very F2P friendly. There’s still a bit of a gear grind but doesn’t feel nearly as bad. I’m very impressed with this game.

Love the game. The game is amazing and I love the animation and the gameplay story all of it. The only reason I won’t give 5 stars is it seems like a cash grab. In epic 7 you could get literally everything in the game by simply playing it enough. But in this one you are limited to 3 attempts at getting the materials to level up characters so it takes much longer unless you pay or spend ether. And also in epic 7 you could get the skins with SS (in game currency) but in this game they expect you to pay $25 just to get a skin. No. I would rather play the game for months than spend money on it. I know that’s supporting the game and all but once you spend money on a game it’s too easy to keep doing so. And I typically don’t play those games because it turns into a pay to win in other aspects. If they go back to the epic 7 ways I will for sure put 5 stars on there.

Off-Banner Plane. I don’t understand how the rates on banners are so bad that you get other 3* besides the banner character. For example: Dark Stella banner, 200 pity and I’m up to 140 in the pity but I got at least 3-5 3* characters and no banner character? It was bad enough that it cost more to pull. Extremely disappointed because I wanted this to be a game I stuck with but at this point Genshin pulls are better and I hate Genshin. Up the banner character rates. Give the players what they want and you’ll make money.

Good game, but one thing kills it. This is a decent game… basically a more modern version of Epic Seven but the one thing that prevents this from being a great game is sweep tickets… the fact that these exist at all is the nail in the coffin. You should be able to sweep previously cleared stages without tickets. The battles in this game take quite a while that if you want to burn through your stamina every day, you’ll have the game on auto repeat for literally hours. No modern gacha can expect to be successful tying people’s phones up like this…. Crazy, this is 2023…

Love it …five stars. Very Good Game nice graphics and battle mechanics ..The character design are all good .can’t wait for future updates looking to play this and Star Rail.

Raid shadow legends on Epic 7 platform. After reading so many posts about resources redirected from Epic 7 to work on this game development I decided to give it a try. The story line is not captivating enough to invest the energy to read. Once completing the walkthrough it is a stripped down epic 7 platform that is a mess to navigate even if you never played other smilegate games. Really poor design; like a natural disaster hit and the developers were rushed. Granted the graphics are nice at first when introduced to the game however they are choppy after awhile has a N64 feel to it. The episode layout is similar to raid shadow legends and offers nothing unique with each level. Very recycled. Aside from the clear build from the other games when playing expect to have the game crash.. a lot! This game will need lots of attention from their developers. An okay introduction to other smilegate games.

Outstanding storyline. Full disclosure, there are things about the game that could be better. But the story and the side character stories too are all SO well done, that I’m perfectly willing to go along with it. And I even think it’s worth some investment bc a writing team who do things this well deserve support. The only thing I really miss is that there isn’t a hot muskateer lady in the game yet. Something to look forward to.

Epic 7 “2.0”. The story is entertaining, not as good as E7 but we will see where they go with it. Animation/Graphics is better than E7, however they need to create a more diverse character selection with interesting kit designs. The only real complaint is the sever stability, however I don’t think it’s as bad as everyone makes it out to be. If you enjoyed E7 I’m sure you will enjoy this. It should be interesting to see what updates they cook up.

Great game extremely unstable. Really enjoying this game a lot. Big issue is that the game sometimes just crashes for no reason, and after it crashes you lose all progress you had on the stage you were fighting and you lose all the stamina as well. If you’re fighting a long stage and it crashes, it’s really frustrating. It’s happened to me tons of times and is really demotivating. At least add an option to continue your previous fights after relaunching the game. I’ve crashes multiple times right before i finish a stage and i have to redo the entire fight.

Nearly half of E7. First, the need to draw duplicates of a character (events give you very little) makes it more like AFK Arena than Epic 7. But some very poor UI decisions is what has done it for me. UI issues: 1) buffs and debuffs are too small on mobile to click 2) your finger then takes up a good portion of information. 3) this causes you to click the priority timeline, which is a mess when you do 4) would be better to have this information at pause like other games and each team separated, with decent sized buffs/debuffs Inventory: 1) all the gui's for inventory really need redone 2) no way to filter out equipped equipment 3) sometimes set filters don't work (lifesteal, etc) 4) stat filters often don't work I think the chain burst needs to be able to be used with 2 or 3 alive, not just all 4.

Nice but…... Your game consistently crashes in hard fight 2-10. Close to the end of the fight at that. Love the game but it crashes way too much

Fun game, please fix ult animation game crashes. It’s a fun game with good animations and character and i can still see myself playing this game a year from now. BUT it crashes sometimes after ult or 3rd skill animation plays. Please fix this

20 minutes in I am hooked!. 20 min in I’m hooked ! As a epic Seven fan for years loving the turn based battle system and weapons and armor upgrade system. It was refreshing to see this game release. They have upgraded the battle system. Adding more control and strategy. Battle animations are smooth and dynamic as well as clean character design. My wish as always is more audio in the story Sequences. This just helps pull you into the story more. But not a deal breaker … This is a must play for Epic Seven fans :)

Super buggy and Cannot progress. This game is very good. It reminds me a lot of Epic Seven in a good way, but I have one problem. every time I try to do a battle that lasts over five minutes my application for the game just closes and I lose all of my progress. So now I’m at a point in the game where I cannot progress no matter what I do because the application won’t let my battles finish.

Clean game. What stood out the most to me was the clean attack animations and the great voice acting. The pvp is trash and the end game gear rng is brutal. 25$ a skin is a little hefty compared to other games. Take my money anyway!

What happened. I’ve had the app for a while but out of nowhere it’s topped working. Making me download the same 5 patches over and over again. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn’t help. Then I go to the website and I can’t find any way to contact support since even though it’s supposedly in English, it is not.

Just started playing and already impressed. I’m already familiar with Smilegate’s work, Epic seven being my favorite. From the voice acting, character designs, and step up from 2d to 3d, I’m geared up to say that this might be better than epic seven

Crashes a lot. I really enjoy the game. Great graphic, characters, art, and gameplay. One thing that is bad is the constant crashing. It happens on different devices so I know isn't my device. Sometimes if you are upgrading character weapons and flipping throw them it crashes there if you go to fast. Most other times if you play to long. ***** Update i really did like this game but the crashing has stopped me from moving through the games levels. Any long battle you will lose. Per the help on crash was to just delete and reinstall which doesn't work. So it is a known issue with no real fix. I have other games that can do long battles and never crashed once. Such a shame I would played this awhile and even spent money on it but now just deleting it.

Loved this game on release but then it all changed 1) all girl characters and they continue to release only girls 2) Don’t make a guild because if you take a day off of game you will lose you guild to someone random and lose all your hard work 3) impossible to get ahold of devs it says click here for inquiry then you get lost in a maze trying to just send a message…(meaning they don’t want to take care of customers) 4) limited farming on all important areas (exp , gold , gems) nothing like getting a good character and having to wait several weeks to progress it … this should be based on playtime not 3 flags a day.

Major cash grab with recent update!. Publishers snuck in a major F2P nerf by removing all currency mileage from free event tickets. So if you ever hope to pity a unit going forward you either have to pay them real money to accumulate on the pity counter or use your in game currency. And with 2 different pity counters and higher priced premium banner costs, I can’t fathom the time it will take. I’d avoid the game unless you like to whale.

It’s no Epic 7. It’s pretty visually , always loved Epics balance of male and female characters and this is definitely female heavy . The story is meh because the characters don’t feel as flushed out personality wise as Epics . The equipment system is really bad …like awful . Graphics are awesome and it has alot going on visually . I’ve played Epic from day 1 and it felt more polished on release than this .

Mediocre game. The plot is not well done, the prologue was just a mess. It’s UI is just Epic 7, the game also feels like E7 but 3D. The game is p2w, this is because you have no guaranteed chance to pull a 3 star unit and you either get lucky or have to hit the 200 pull hard pity where you can claim the unit without pulling. There was no advertising for this game either, this wouldn’t have helped anyway seeing as how it was close to release with another promising gacha. Overall, the characters do look great but the game just brings it down.

Epic7 if epic7 was good. Title says it all OUTERPLANE is epic7 if epic7 was actually fun and good no boring forced exploration crap pvp and guilds are there but offer really nothing that actually matters and best of all it actually gives it premium currency at a semi reasonable pace as a strictly pve player it took months just to get enough for a single multi pull in epic7 safe to say I’ll be sticking around OUTERPLANE and it deserves a 4/5* rating

I left my girlfriend for Veronica. Never before in my decades of being entertained by games did I fall in love with a character. This isthe first game I’ve ever played where I’d enjoy being trapped on a desert island with any of the characaters, but it’s Veronica who keeps me in the world of Mirsha. Mirsha, Mirsha, Mirsha!

Give it a try. Ngl was put off by the graphics but va is on nice. It feels like the game a bit dated but new at the same time and would like for the limit on Pve content to be unlocked.

Amazing work loved the storytelling !!!. This is awesome playing great challenges with knowledge development skills have to learn about each guide depending on their strengths , weaknesses , background is important.

Needs Stability. This is a fun game with a similar system to Epic7, futuristic fantasy art style like Star Rail, and a standard set of gacha rates. Prices for packs are about like other games I’ve seen, though I think of Epic7 as a bit more generous. It’s worth trying out to be sure. There are only two negatives that I encountered. Firstly, there are not many male units to use. The roster is pretty small and is roughly 75% female units. I didn’t expect this to be the first balanced roster game, but I was hoping it had the better ratio. This is forgivable and should hopefully improve as more units are released. The other negative is why I uninstalled. The game crashes, a lot. Just in my initial playing it crashed four times on me. I wasn’t deep in an intense battle but rather just moving from one menu to another. I will probably download this game again in a while to see if it got better, but I won’t be risking my money on it until the game is more stable.

Everyone Please Download!! it’s amazing. This is what it feels like to fall in love all over again. This game is absolutely amazing, from the graphics to the game mechanics. I look forward to the future units tho the one’s currently in the game are great. Let the grind begin baby!!!!

Good game with potential. Enjoying the gameplay and designs of many characters. There’s much room for improvement though, with the menu being kinda bland and some animations looking rough. With newer characters I’m sure that’ll change and hopefully the menus can get a better design

The developers don’t do a thing about harassment. There is harassment going on and I reported the issue. They do not even read and follow their own operation of use policy. There’s a lot of things they let go by without doing anything about it. There is no love or care for the game or community. All they care about is releasing packs and getting money from players. There’s a lot of bugs that has existed since start of game and never fixed. A lot of quality of life issues. Updates are slow and graphics are outdated. The game is dead and not doing good. I suggest spend your time and money elsewhere.

Keeps crashing on me (iPhone 11). Probably my phone, but thought I would put this here for anyone with old phones. I’ll place a good rating because it looks and feels fantastic when it does work.

Good but not polished. Game is basically epic 7 but less polished. Designs are nice but it seems they learned nothing from epic 7 and doesn’t have any of the quality of life we are used to. Animations are a bit long for the auto battle speed limit we have atm. A lot of potential as long as they listen to feedback I can see this being a really nice side game in the future. Also Picture in Picture is REALLY buggy with this game. Constantly pausing my video after certain actions. Audio is muted during it and when my video gets abruptly paused the game audio gets raised to 11. If you have a video playing while launching the game it will freeze so please fix the Picture in Picture issues.

Alright I guess. Just feels like epic with more focus on female characters which is a let down for me. With recent update just over the direction this game is going. Game constantly crashes during battles and of course it’s just before your going to win. Try fixing your bugs instead of throwing a bunch of costumes around with pay walls all women to boot surprise surprise lol

Buggy. The game is really good and stuff but whenever I'm doing a battle/fight the game will always kick me out or crash which makes me have to restart the battle/fight from the beginning and it mostly happens when the enemy is at low health. So do you think you can make it crash less or make it to where it saves your progress in the fight like an afk type game where you can grind while offline or having your phone off?

Good but has a way to go to be Great!. Character and art are really nice. Gear system and upgrade core system needs help, two tickets a day just isn’t any good. The thing I find abhorrent is the fact I can’t listen to music while I play. Epic seven doesn’t have that issue I don’t understand why this game does.

3D epic seven, same cash grab new app.. Just like epic 7 the game is lazy. The characters are almost identical to their 2d counterparts and the rest relies on people paying a ton of money (example: one event required you BUY the character to get rewards) and then there’s the pvp once you finish the ok story. It’s the same 6 units in rotation. Once you his the range where you face actual other people’s comps it’s just the same mundane experience... the dailies take too long to do FOR A MOBILE GAME mind you. It also requires you log in multiple times. The animations get stale... especially when you see them multiple times. And getting back to monetary, they charged 25 usd for low poly terrible styled costumes... I doubt anyone reads this, but it feels good to return their negative energy to them.

Please fix crashing issues. The game crashes every day multiple times. Crash in arena = loss. Crash in guild raid = entry ticket gone and no points gained. I thought it’s because my iPhone is getting a bit old but on a brand new iPad it also crashes. Please fix this.

Bug. It tells me to log in, I log in, terms and conditions appear, I click confirm to accept it and nothing happens even when I do guest login, nice game 👍

Crash at 4.5 every time. I hope you fixed it in the new update it kicks me out every time a battle get too much long maybe it my old iPhone but i doubt

Patch notes. Really excited for the upcoming balance changes announced. Shows they really pay attention or care about the fluidity of the community and different areas where others feel are lacking. Kudos.

Poorly Optimised. Game seems pretty cool, too bad it crashes like every 2nd battle. Give us more graphic options, and the option to flat out turn off the anime scenes that play right when you boot the game up. Would like to play, but I’m not dealing with resets every 5 minutes. 🤷‍♂️
