The couple days (or hours) of playing. I’ve been plying this game for over a month now and throughout the gameplay, it’s been hell over and over again. The amount of farming (with no auto on conversations movement) to get diamonds is too much. In the “Remarkable Adventure” missions, the last one says “Promote a hero to 6 stars”. Does the game not know how hard it is to even get 5 stars? Also, this game is not recommended for F2P (which I’m doing). But if you are really determined in farming in this ONE gacha game, then you might have a chance. I farm in multiple other gacha games (Danmachi Memoria Freese, Dokkan, Exos heroes) and epic seven takes the longest for me to even get a summon. Event characters have a “higher pull” rate That’s a total lie. There is a maximum of 120 pulls until you get that Guaranteed character. I might be unlucky, but I was at 9 more pulls until I got a character guaranteed, but I never got her. The amount of BS from the gacha pulls to getting the needed resources to summon is absurdly a lot of effort and dedication. I might quit this game because of this, but I’m trying to go F2P for this whole game. I’ve been tempted to use money but “Don’t waste money on a game that might not last in popularity in the next 20 years”. If there ever is an event that GIVES stuff, then that is required to do if you are F2P

One pf the best mobile turn based RPG’s out there!. I git this game just under a month ago, and I’ve been playing non-stop ever since. The premise is simple: collect heroes, and adventure. Of course, it van be much more complex then that; but it just makes the game that much more interesting! Finding out what kinds of equipment sets and artifacts go well with certain heroes, and even how the chemistry of heroes’ kits pairs with those of other’s; is one of the coolest things about this game. The story is quite long, and is sure to keep you occupied for awhile. But it also doesn’t end at that, because of the PvP system that it offers. There are also quite a few “minigames” that you can play that will help you gain equipment to help you on your way. The devs are constantly updating, as to keep the while thing fresh and exciting, and events are fairly common as well; which makes the whole experience even more rewarding. All in all, I highly recommend this game to anyone that enjoys a good rpg, as it will keep you entertained for a good while.

Not very beginner friendly. This is a great game don’ get me wrong it has a good storyline, fun to play, great animations and very many characters to summon for however, there is a big problem that slows progress on any account immensely for free to play players and that is the “molagora”. The molagora is used to enhance a characters skills and most characters need several of these items to become strong. So far my point is that it doesn’t really matter if you pull many 5 star characters in the game especially if your just starting out if you won’t be able to use them properly for at least a couple months because the molagora is so scarce so for someone that is free to play and does not buy molagora packages from the store won’t have a very good time until they manage to get. Apparently you can get up to 3 molagora a week but it is limited to players with already strong characters and high molagora investments. If this is seen by the developers I don’t know what to suggest on how to fix this since I am still a new player but if this is how it’s going to be for the rest of my gaming experience I think im going to have to step away from the game.

Enjoyable experience. I have been playing epic seven for a little over 2 years now. The game has excellent PvE modes to keep you engaged and a good balance in pushing you from early to mid game and mid to end game as long as you keep focus on the things that’ll help you grow. I’ve had many enjoyable experiences and met plenty of fun people throughout the community and the game has just kept growing and growing. The end game consists of mainly PvP and RTA which unfortunately are both whale game modes if you actually want to succeed. Even after two years and decent amounts of money put into the game I’m still not anywhere near top level of play nor will I ever be. The games meat and potatoes rely souly in its early-mid games. Once you hit the end game you realize how difficult it is to obtain solid gear or gear directed towards a play style you wish to play. Not only that but despite what they game or game devs may say defense has RNG playing 100% in their favor. I believe my time in this game is coming to an end and if it weren’t for these two things I’d still be playing every single day. Ultimately the game is a fantastic game and one of the best Gacha’s on the market today. I suggest you to give the game a try if you’re in the market for a new Gacha but unless you plan on whaling gear and breaking your bank the end game will kill your motivation in the end. Hopefully smilegate makes some reworks to these systems in the future and I will be patiently awaiting that day.

Great Game - Anti-Update. After playing this game for many many months, I have to say that the generosity with the gacha, the art and animations, and story is very good! Everything feels fair and I enjoy everything. I mainly play these games for the cute girls, and there’s plenty, so it gets three stars for that. On a serious note, I would give this game 5 stars had they not changed the hero system. It’s clear that the old hero system was a bit much, with some 1-3 star heroes barely adding EXP and not worth holding onto. However, this newest update feels more like a cash grab rather than an actual solution. Penguins are now the primary way to level up heroes, where as 1-5 stars are now only used up for promotions. What’s wrong with that? There’s a limited amount of storage, and you can only upgrade it with the limited premium currency. You can’t easily get rid of those useless heroes now, so they just fill up your storage. It prevents you from continuing the story and you aren’t able to collect heroes from the gacha if your storage is full. Why? Let me delete the useless things. It’s my loss if I don’t want to promote certain heroes. My goal is just to collect rare heroes and cute girls, I’m not competing to be the best player in the game.

Review got removed?. Came back to check in on the game to see if they’ve actually fixed anything or have just been slapping more duct tape on problems, and it looks like it’s the latter. Moreover my previous review of all the stuff that’s going wrong in the game (power creep, no/incompetent balance team, horrific rng saturating the core battle system and gear, and overall apathy from the people running the game regarding fixing any issues) got removed, so that’s cool. ————————————————————————-I won’t go into them all again here, but know that if you want to play this game, you need to stay away from pvp if you value your sanity. Although from what I hear from friends still trapped, it sounds like they’re actually pushing an esports scene?! Are they serious? Every single turn of battle is ripe with things that you have absolutely zero control over, but are significant enough to change the outcome of a match. ————————————————————————- Idk about you, but when I think “esport” I think “skill and strategy based competition” not “oh look all my debuffs failed from an 85% chance, guess I lose” or “hey, they enemy team just proc’d two (5%) dual attacks with stene, guess I lose”. The character design, art, and story is actually pretty good, but I don’t know anyone who downloads a gacha for story… It’s a shame the people in charge are so unbelievably stubborn and greedy

This game is amazing. I’ve been playing this game for a long time and this game is fantastic. The art style is amazing and the story is compelling and done really well. Unlike most RPG’s I’ve played the game has more than just one story once the main story is finished its branches off to a part two and then another story that seems to be just as long, there are even seasonal stories that appear once in a while. There are tons of collectible hero’s and each have been so well and thought out, with their own stories and relationships, most of them even have theses beautiful animations for a move. Once again the art style is so clean and beautiful, the characters have a consistent detailing no matter where you use them. The game is even sprinkled with little animation and it genuinely feels like I’m watching some action packed anime. Truth be told the game takes a bit of grinding and it’s very hard to one-shot it and be done with it and that makes the game so wonderful. I truthfully recommend this game to anyone as again to me it’s a masterpiece.

Beautiful grind. While the game is phenomenal in a lot of areas from the visuals, the sheer quality behind the game and a vast roster it takes too many grind mechanics from various other games. Nothing is simple in this game, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, except that in this case the content appears to primarily be there to add to the grind rather than entertainment purposes. Don’t get me wrong, the game is enjoyable but I catch myself only playing 30mins a day because the game simply asks too much if you want to play it seriously. One thing I would like to point out is the reward system, the game gives you a lot and then some which is great, it helps lessen the grind blow initially and the 30xsummon is a brilliant addition. If I were to change one thing it would simply be to push back some of the grind content further to late game, if there is more late game then I’m honestly worried seeing as how much grind there is already early on. This coming from a hardcore SWGOH player.... simplify early game, add some mid and then the more complicated stuff add in close to late game. I’ll most likely continue playing this for 30mins daily until another game catches my eye. Unfortunate because the quality behind this game is visible to any, it just stretches the grind into too many different directions.

Developers don’t even play.. This is an all too classic case of a great game run into the ground by prioritizing profits over everything else. They modeled the entire game after Summoner’s War, but the few times they deviate from that is to make something worse. It’s all grind, 6 levels of RNG for rewards. Beautiful game, engaging storylines, and then... nothing. In the last year it’s been a slow decline that has accelerated in the past 3 months to a full-on free fall. The past 3 months have been straight re-runs of old events and heroes, which is nice for new players, but then they do crappy cash grabs like rerunning limited artifacts that have no pity summon system (or even a guarantee of the 5 star artifact being the 5 star artifact you get), along with the returning limited hero. Just to make sure everyone has to pull on a banner they’ve already got the hero from that they’re rerunning. Arena is a grind, progress is slow, gold is used for nearly every aspect of the game, and what new content they have added just uses more gold that we’re already starved for, for more layers and layers of RNG. Even what they themselves call a side entertainment project of pets they made an RNG filled nightmare. You have to run 3-4 of the hardest grinding content to afford one pet, who will most likely have a crappy D level of a skill you can’t pick, and it will take 8 pets to use as fodder to max one pet, then try to fuse another pet with that one (which can fail).... just no.

Very Pay to win after a while.. I’ve played this game for about a year now. It’s incredibly easy to put hours into the game just to strengthen your mediocre heroes, which really don’t do much in competitive. RTA game modes are available but incredibly one sided. If you don’t have the best equipment or characters, then you lose every round. Many players use the most annoying heroes to their disposal after emptying out their life saving on this games. Since I’m very much free-to-play, I often have trouble getting anything done without losing my sanity. You have Arby, game over. You have ml Krau, game over. You have high speed characters because you bought the hero’s to help you get materials faster, game over (and the list goes on and on). At the end of each season, SG has added exclusive skins for heroes which are incredibly difficult to summon if you don’t pay. In addition, these hero skins can not be obtained unless you get to a certain ranking that many people can’t get to because they actually have things to do in their lives. The unfair cons make it incredibly difficult to enjoy the game without wasting countless hours trying to improve skill wise.

No improvements with Rebirth Update. Nothing in the game has changed really, even after they were advertising improvements and other stuff with the Rebirth Update. If there is definitely one thing they didn’t bother to change is it’s god awful gatcha system. Artifacts are still lumped with characters screwing up your pulls constantly. Unlike Dragalia where dragons are important and useful to have, Epic 7s artifacts aren’t that useful in comparison since they have more specific characters to go on making them junk when you don’t have said character. Even during this free pull event you’re more than likely to see a useless artifact be pulled 9 times out of 10, while they can probably be good on the right character it’s like I said it’s pointless to get them and have nobody to use it on. Since the launch of the game there needed to be a separate gatcha for artifacts and characters as the rates in the gatcha are heavily aimed towards getting the artifacts rather than the characters. Not only that but odds for 5 star characters are nearly as bad as summonses war sometimes, especially if that 5 star pull turns out to be an artifact. If you’re a collector I’d advise avoiding this game as you won’t get anything easily, not without some really good luck, heavy saving (and the majority of currency is from pvp) or spending a gross amount of money. If any of these things are off to you just avoid playing the game.

Fun, but a vicious cash grab.. I’ve been playing for a few months now, and the game is fun, pretty graphics, frequent updates, etc. That being said, the draw rate for 5* heroes and artifacts is absolutely horrendous. This is not the only game I’ve played with an RNG system for obtaining heroes and items, but has the worst rates by far. 1.25% for a hero and 1.75% for an artifact. The boosted banners don’t even increase those odds, just the odds of getting the new hero IF you happen to manage to pull one. Other games I play have a 6-18% chance to pull a 5* hero or item, and have far more rewarding events. I don’t mind spending a little bit of money on a new hero, but with how bad the rates are in this particular game, you can easily spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars to get absolutely nothing. Grinding for hours and doing daily quests doesn’t pile up summons at an acceptable rate, and with a new hero every two weeks, it’s just frustrating to never be able to obtain anything new unless you pay. Even then, chances are your money will be wasted. I’ll be back if the game ever ups its odds acceptably, or allows you to obtain a hero after a set number of summons. Until then, skip this one. Your wallet will thank you.

Love it!. One of the best rpg games i have ever played, with it having a great amount of heroes to collect and enemies to fight. The story is extremely interesting and the bosses very difficult. Pvp is also a challenge and quite fun with all the rewards you can earn besides when it comes world arena- only if you have the best of the best max gear and everything with a functional team you can win… or just might as well have the enemy take a turn with all their heroes 5 times in a row before you can start. Anyways Theres a lot to do but sometimes … there isnt. You can have a moment where you feel stuck in the game. cant get past a mission or story mode, nor even spend gold or have enough diamonds or summons and honestly its hard to get yourself back up to it at times. Doesn’t help that summons are actually a scam in a way because you can go for months summoning more then a hundred times and get either nothing or the same hero you already had. I even once summoned a hero, earned a 5 star book that taken forever and summoned the same hero in one day and even summoned that same hero once again the next day. Happened 3 times with other heroes getting dupes from long waited summons and at some point it just makes me not want to play if its going to pull that. Theres so many heroes yet the system chooses to give me something i already have. Other then that the game is perfect.

Is it possible to get penguins back (Confessions of a Hoarder). First off I love this game and I think it’s systems all-and-all work well. Even with this I wanted to mention something that personality saddened me. I was surprised to find my penguins missing, and then learn they had been turned into items. I understand this is not your problem but I was sad to have my penguins removed from my heroes. Now I am a bit of a collector when it comes to monsters/heroes in games like this. I keep one of everything, so I always have storage issues. Even with that I have kept the first copy of every Monster/hero I have gotten in any game like this. If I have the best character in the game I don’t want or need another one. This makes a one star I don’t have leagues more valuable to me. In every game I keep all material and “fodder” characters. Even if I get a 5 star but don’t have room the monsters/heroes I do have (including one stars and material monsters) come first .I would rather have my one star materials and let the 5 star despawn. This is why I didn’t like it when you took my penguins. To me they are worth more that any top tier character. Now I get that you will almost definitely never read this and their is probably nothing you can do, but if there was a way to get my penguins back it would be absolutely amazing! Even if you can’t get more (as monsters) after that, is it possible to be able to have the ones we already had back. Sorry for wasting your time.

Spirit Altar’s wall f2p. Can’t awaken heroes to 4 star as spirit Altair’s only gives them out at floor seven. Floor seven is Where the enemies are level 40 and the boss is 56~ but your max level is 40-50 if you got lucky with early game summons and netted a 4-5 star character. Free characters are all 4 star below meaning their max level is 40 unless promoted with 4 characters equaling 4 stars individually. You should try to promote a 4-5 star character first as this raises max level to 60. Bad design imo grinding is fun but having to grind to get the chance to grind is unappealing. Lower drop rates or higher quantity of necessity to awaken heroes would give the player more to grind and keep it fun without level locking you out. Idk do you like waiting to be max level so you can then level your characters stats afterwards or alongside it. In this sense why is awakening even a thing? All it gives you is better stats, which is why you level up? It’s like a second grind for your characters because just leveling them up isn’t enough to make your characters stronger. So why is leveling even a thing? Just pick one.

PVP is flawed, P2W dominated. A good majority of the game is great, but the pvp is absolute garbage. If you’re F2P or just unlucky, don’t bother doing anything pvp related, because you will get DOGGED. It’s filled with metas fueled by P2W and broken units. The top players have the most annoying and powercreeping units, making it objectively impossible to get high in rank for PVP. I can’t even do live pvp anymore. It’s simply the fact that P2W players are dominating all aspects of pvp, and PvP allows for better rewards and such. Other than that, the game is kind of F2P, with the hunts and grind being not so bad, but just know that your performance in the game is up solely to RNG. I’ve been a long time player of Epic Seven, reached rank 62, have a ton of regular 6 star units, but I’m quitting due to the PvP aspects. The meta is changing with more broken units out and F2P players such as myself can’t catch up. Guild wars are also insanely hard, since everyone seems to have broken 5 star moonlights. If you’re starting the game out, you’ll LOVE IT, but when you get to a higher rank, you’ll learn to hate some parts of the game. Overall, 4 stars for being friendly to F2P, one star lost because it’s objectively P2W and some parts of the game are dominated solely by P2W. It’s just not fun anymore, and I get that this game is free so I shouldn’t be complaining, but I’m just saying my opinion on it. I should have quit long ago.

This game used to be good.... What started out as an awesome experience quickly turned into cumbersome, tedious grinding. There was a time where the devs used to listen to the suggestions of the player base and implement their suggestions while providing compensation in the form of in-game currencies. Now there are WAY TOO MANY currencies and WAY TOO MANY additions of new content that glaring issues with basic quality of life mechanics and UI experience go uncorrected. I started as free to play. Then out of sheer gratitude for the “good times” experienced in the game I bought several 5 and 10 dollar packs. Now I have ZERO desire to spend time or money on this game. When the devs make promises they fail to keep, they will lose their player base and potentially a lot of money if the players are able to prove to Apple Support that the Devs LIED about the direction the game would be going and continued to make promises they could not keep. A large portion of the fan base is unhappy and if a lot of the big spenders decide to chargeback their purchases this game is done for. I don’t want that to happen.. but seriously epic seven needs to step it up. They started out as a sincere, generous company that seemed to care deeply for the user experience. Now it just seems like they’re just like every other money hungry gacha game creator out there. You’ve been warned. Play at your own risk.

A beautiful disaster. First I’ll start off with the good parts. The game’s character designs are great and free currency for summoning is fairly generous given and then things start to go downhill. I’ve been playing for about half a year and my experience a first was really good at first but there were many things that left me scratching my head thinking “why in the world would you do that”. The first of this is the layers of RNG in literally almost every everything in the game. Yes it’s a gatcha game but the RNG in this game borders on the absurd. I feel the biggest offender of this is making equipment. You grind materials, fork over the gold and from then on you have virtually no control on how the equipment turns out. Apart for selecting the part like a helm EVERYTHING after is random. In the most recent update a so called “solution” was added and it is the most convoluted thing I ever seen implemented in a game ever. So much so that it borders on insulting to the players. Every new system is added to the game takes the game backwards and the only solution they give is free items which don’t solve the core issues at all. Another issue is how intensive using gold is in the game despite there no being very few energy/time efficient way to farming gold. Every costs gold, even unequiping gear cost cost. The game has this bold plan 10 year plan but at this pace I doubt it’ll last that long.

Bahahaha XD. I wrote a review on this when I was younger and it was pretty hilarious but anyways this game is a amazing and I love it a lot the character designs are appealing and really love the animations put into it every now and then it’s like a decent video game and anime scenes put together love the plot too even if I’m not t far into the game it’s amazing and was probably a lot of work super nice and if your looking at the reviews wondering if you should try this I 100% reccomended this and there’s no need to really skip any of the dialog like I said the plot is pretty interesting and the side story’s are nice too the rewards from quests are really fair and I know exactly how to level up and pass everything the tutorials help a lot for those who need them really a amazing deserves a 10/5 star rating if u ask me and even more. There are even skins to add on to the characters wich I love meaning they can have different clothing and styles. We have a variety of characters we can summon and skins to chose from that is if your lucky and have the stuff u need to get skins and characters. Idk why you would give this game a lower than five star rating I am really enjoying it and everything around you can help you improve like the items armor and like cards things really amazing every character has work out into it and it’s own design. Love it. ❤️

Could have been so much better. I normally don’t rate apps but since I have been playing this game for a long time is really disappointing how something that could be done so well goes to the trash. Wyvern 12 and 13 which was going to be the main and most important thing we expected to happen because is where the gear comes from. But was done so badly, the energy requirements+difficulty are absolutely not worth because of how bad rewards are, w11 was already a problem because of the low rates of getting something good+the high requirements of energy and then you come with a much worse and harder version that needs more energy, it’s like laughing at our faces, and then, buffing units that are far from the list of units that really need a buff was also disappointing, there are units like Sage Baal and Sezan that need a buff because the job they are meant to do, they can’t even do that, Baal is just worth because of his s2 and his s2 doesn’t even do the job, 80%, only ONE buff, his s3 is trash and yet other better units receive buffs before he gets his kit fixed, just disappointing. I was expecting so much more since the rewards have been great, but w12, w13 and buffs that were necessary in other units... that was just a slap in the face I just hope with my ENTIRE soul that Ras sc is not as disappointing.

Bugs never fixed. I am a long time player of this game and have loved it from the beginning. But today was probably the most disappointing experience I have ever had with this game. Spending 4hrs trying to beat floor 90 only to have it crash was the last straw. I wish crashing issues were the only negative thing about this game but add in a convoluted autoing system and obvious money grabbing gatcha banners then your experience starts to be bogged down and you begin to question just how much the developers actually care about gameplay and how the game actually works. Art and animation is great but it is only there to bait you into a lackluster gaming experience. This game had all the potential in the world but due to poor decision making and disappointing/stingy rewards it has turned away some of their top customer base, which in itself is a bad sign that business is in decline. ANY business operation that cannot keep its customer base loyal and happy will eventually fail. This one star review is a warning from someone who has been a loyal player for more than a year. If things do not change then this game will die. Fix the problems. Listen, and I mean REALLY listen to what your customers are telling you.

Decent game. I’ve been reading the reviews of people saying it’s horrible and that this game makes you use crystal because of the unfairness and all. For me I find this game enjoyable and I don’t rely on the crystal or pay to get better stuff. Idk why people would use their money and hoping something good will come out of it. I mean you can pay but don’t just spam your money on this game until your cash goes dry. The animation and story are fantastic and each characters are unique. Yeah there’s some issue with the game and smile gate can be mean but I figure out how to over come this obstacle. I push away the negative stuff and focus on the positive side of Epic Seven. I’ve been playing this game about maybe 2-3 years now and I haven’t stopped playing since. Ignore what these people say about this game and give it a try newcomer’s. If you don’t like it then you don’t like it. No one is forcing anyone to like Epic Seven. Just play it if you like playing it 😄😊

Fun for a while. I played through the main story on normal difficulty, which was easy enough. It was nice that didn’t require to pay to get that far. Beyond that, it gets more frustrating obtaining sky crystals, trying to get a better party setup. (After a few hundred summons, literally, aside from a couple Kise draws, all garbage) But, even more frustrating, getting complete garbage draws from the guaranteed 4 or 5 star summon and 2 moonlight summons, after how long it took to obtain those... So, after getting irritated with being stuck with one 60 character and a few 50s (Destina was the only good 50 I had), I decided to start over, and try to avoid some of the mistakes of the first time through. (It seems having a solid start is pretty important if you don’t want to spend a lot later). Next frustration, I had no idea it would be so difficult to get a good selective summon. I’m now on the 27th time playing through the first chapter (so 26 times 30 chances. About to attempt #27), and have had a few that could have been good if the characters hadn’t been garbage. (In other words, one 5 star and one or two 4 stars and an artifact. Which would have been great. But, when I would get that combination, they were never desirable ones.)

Just... wow. I’ve been looking for a good Gatcha game for a while now. I originally liked Langrisser but epic 7 just does everything better. Graphics and animations are beautiful, combat feels much more dynamic than Rock Paper Scissors, progression feels much more fluid, etc. I could go on and on. You don’t need a whole lot of time investment either, as you can level up while offline after progressing enough through the story, which is fantastic by the way, especially for a f2p. I’ve read a few reviews about horrible drop rates but I’m not sure if I’ve had good luck or if they’re just flat out wrong. I’ve gotten 3 five star heroes and 2 four star heroes since I started 2 weeks ago, along with 2 five star artifacts and a handful of four stars. I haven’t even finished the main story yet. I think if you aren’t looking for anything specific in particular you always have a chance of getting something good. Of course you need to get dupes if rare character drops to min max your team but it’s far from necessary unless you invest heavily into the pvp in this game, which I haven’t yet. I think this game has just continued to surprise me and I can’t wait to see where the devs take this game.

Wonderful game all-around. I love everything about this game. From the art, mechanics, and especially the story. There is so much to do in the game that this could be your sole iPhone game and keep you occupied for a very VERY long time. Currently this is my second year playing Epic 7 and there has been nothing but fun playtime. This game tops other similar high ranking like unison league and illusion connect purely due to the amount of activities you can do in the game. There’s PVP arena, solo raid battles, story mode, PVE battles, and fun event modes you know the developers put time and effort into. Only thing that is unfortunate is the limited energy to do quests. BUT they accommodate but having mini in-game event that can give you rewards such as energy. And the characters are very well designed with unique abilities, cool art, and intertwining backstories with other characters. Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone who either wants to HAM in a game or just a little side hustle along others. OH and it’s also F2P friendly. Good luck!

The ultimate anime rpg. If you’re looking for a game where you want to gather characters, and use them to fight everything. This is your game. You have events to do daily, you always have something you want to achieve, from gathering high level armor, to beating the hardest hunts, to learning how to build characters. The community is alright, more or less like a Reddit community if you know what that’s like, I’m sorry. But, I’ve been playing for almost if not over 2 years. And got a load of high level characters without paying a dim. It’s severe RNG based, little gambling if you’re into that type of thing. However, getting that glow of a 4-5 star warms up my heart every time! It’s always exciting to see who you’ll get! But yes, some characters are super over powered, compared to others, but they do work hard on balancing that. They might do updates constantly when you wanna play, but they give you apology gifts when they do. So overall, this game is awesome with great visuals and awesome story! I don’t doubt you’ll like it, as long as you’re into anime or being your own kind of OP. You’ll enjoy it.

Enjoyable experience. To start off, I’d like to say that the animations look great, especially with how each 5* has their own special animation for their ultimates. The story and side stories are somewhat more captivating than most games and gives me a further incentive to complete the storyline. Each character has their own contribution to a fight, whether it’s a self-buff or just casual dps, there aren’t that many bad characters, it just depends on how you form your team and setup your gear for each one. RNG can be a hassle sometimes for most, but that’s uncontrollable up to a certain point. The transactions in the shop are a bit overpriced, especially for what you get, but it’s never truly necessary to purchase things in the first place, F2P players and whales will all eventually reach an even playing field. The combat system in itself is pretty straightforward and common gameplay, not many opportunities with exp boosting characters, no actual love interests — despite the personality trait of the game as to every character has an opinion on somebody, could definitely use a romanticized side story for more character development..

It’s not casual friendly. I’ll be honest with myself and others. This game has just about the most beautiful graphics and anime like cutscenes of any game out there. The gacha part of the game isn’t terrible honestly. I’ve spend a good chunk of money and gotten a great amount of heroes out of it. Having said that I’m not an intense player. I don’t do arena unless I have to... and what kills me is that I wish I could play this game and continue to invest in the beauty of the chars and plots. The truth is you can’t do any of that without overcoming the true obstacle. The complex armor system... look I’d be happy with just an auto equip that does some basic set ups. But to progress through the harder levels you need to be extremely intricate with what you equip to your heroes to survive a run. Armor is serious here and I can’t play that way casually. Now auto equip and maybe invest in upgrades? Totally. But with so many stats, colors, versions, even armor set combos and more than hundred of chars I just can’t be into it anymore. Especially since you have to pay just to take the armor off. So for those of you wanting to collect chars and just breeze on through nope and nope. There’s not even an auto run system that works for free. This is just not that kind of game. Having said that if you’re not casual like me this game has no faults otherwise! I’ll miss the great scenery though.

I love this game, except one thing…. I absolutely love this game. It has been so fun playing this game and it has been quite a journey. I even beat the main story line which I am quite proud of. But what I’m not very proud of is the level of the side story called Fallen Moon Dust. The last part of that level where I have to fight Sez is quite unfair to be honest. Honestly I could say that Sez is a cheater, but maybe that would be just a bit over the top. The thing is is that Sez is just extremely busted and overpowered even for my party that is at max level 60. To be honest I find that to be quite outrageous for him to attack me multiple times by inflicting some broken super curse on me until he completely wipes me out. And on another negative side, he can constantly heal himself which just makes it even more busted in general. It just kind of ruins the fun of the game if I can’t progress because of some super busted enemy miraculously wiping out my party without fail. In reality, it’s just very dumb that it’s like that.

40 hours later.... I love almost everything about this game. The animation is amazing, there’s mostly good balance, and the story is pretty interesting! I’ve invested about 40 hours into the game without paying, and it’s been a wonderful experience...mostly. I have a few complaints. 1. The time investment needed to succeed is massive. I highly recommend this game, but only if you can put a lot of time into it. There was a point where I could only play for like 5 hours for 2 weeks and catching up after that was difficult, though doable. 2. The drop rates for good heroes are low when compared to the difficulty in acquiring enough summoning bookmarks. Sky stones and bookmarks are hard to come by, and the system is almost entirely luck based unless you’re willing to spend a LOT of money. I typically have good luck when it comes to this, but I know many people who didn’t. 3. Dizzy. Everything about her is OP, but a new player can’t access her since she was a limited hero. All of her attacks are AOE, she has the 3 most painful debuffs in the entire game, and the only real counters to her are heroes that can clear debuffs. The PVP system as a whole is pretty good, so when Dizzy pops up it really grinds my gears. Overall: I love this game. I love its characters, story, UI, PVP and PVE systems, community, and animation style. I recommend it for everyone, but those 3 problems hold it back from being a 5-Star game.

Avoid. Avoid the game at all costs. Used to be a good game when the devs listened and added some nice qol. Now it’s clear they’ve become greedy by monetizing more bs systems (pets) not fixing stamina/gold issues, and ‘nerfing’ rewards of epic pass into oblivion (more like trashpass). Not to mention any form of compensation/holiday event rewards would be given as pet snacks, a useless currency to help you auto repeat for a minute. Did I mention auto repeat isn’t free in this game? These devs are so out of touch with their player base it’s ridiculous. The grind is unreal in this game and players have been complaining about it since the game was released more than a year ago. The devs have done nothing to alleviate the situation. If you thought games like Kings raid was Grindy, wait till you try this (please don’t). Furthermore, the game has community managers that are supposed to communicate between players and devs. But from the community managers, we hear it’s just a one way conversation, where devs just ignore all the players concerns. The proof is in the updates. These devs are so out of touch with the game and will continue to ignore the real problems at hand. You can look at the rating on the google play store and see the bad direction the game is treading towards.

Absolutely one of the best mobile games out. EpicSeven is one of the best, hands down. Great visual effects, fun and complex Gearing and game style, great and lengthy story that’s on going, they do events what seems monthly and with adorable in game browser events to get more free stuff. For new players, they even have a built in re roll summon so you can start off properly. The things these devs are doing right can go on and on and on. The premium currency, skystones, are very much obtainable and renewable, which is something sought out by all players coming to mobile games. Absolutely love this game, i’ve sunk so much time into it and I plan to continue. Now I’m sure if you read this far, your asking, “why 4 star rating? “. My only complaint with the game is the in game Gold and Skill upgrade material, molagoras, are always in short supply. They have recently did a big improvement to the molagora system, which I loved, but can’t help but think they need to go further on it. But overall, I still stand by my statement, one of the best mobile games hands down.

Just had my 3 year anniversary playing this and still my #1 mobile game. I’ve been playing this for 3 years now. I thought as I approached year 1 that I did everything fun I could do, but I keep playing. I love building characters and enhancing their skills and equipment. The game does a good job of giving you plenty to do each day. Ultimately you want to build a team to compete with others in arena, guild wars, and world arena. I spent the first year just building my characters before even trying arena, but 2/3 of the fun is battling other players. The main character Ras is one of the worst in the game, so don’t get hung up if you’re frustrated your not doing better with him (he gets better though). Keep summoning to get stronger units and develop a balanced team, then get more heroes to get more specialized teams for specific battles, like Wyvern hunts. There’s so much to do. I think I have at least another year of this before I run out.

Too much RNG. Honestly tho, this game is awesome, and I would like to give it higher rating. Sadly, this game is plagued with astronomical amount of rng never seen before in gatcha game. Everything you n this game is chance-based, to the point that your investment of time and effort seem like a waste. In other games, grinding makes you stronger, in this game, grinding makes you “appear” stronger at a certain time. New real time pvp mode is fun and all but with the rng nature of the game, it will only turn into a horrible mess because of heavy rng and bad balancing. Since RTA comes with pick n ban mode, busted heroes are extremely difficult to counter as the best way to counter them is team comp, you will have to have equally or busted more heroes to counter them. If you want to play pvp, you MUST rerolling for super op ML heroes (or buy an accounts with limited and ML heroes). 98% of heroes you can get from the selective summon pool for new players are useless once you reach Master rank. If you like waifu collecting then don’t bother playing this game because you will sooner or later bench her permanently. If you into serious competition then you probably should just left. When i talked about how this game is rigged with rng, I wasn’t just talking about gatcha. You can lose entire match just because you constantly missing crit attacks with 99% crit chance 5 times on a row, and it’s happen very often.

Great game, two major needs for improvement.. I enjoy epic seven and it is a really great game overall. But I do share concerns as the “most helpful” reviews: drop rates are a bit unfair with the amount of skystones you are able to acquire daily. I can really grind for skystones (scarce when you finish world difficulty as well) and still not receive any decent units to further my progress in the game. Sometimes I wouldnt have any other choice and would have to purchase packs, I’m sure that’s the gimmick. If given another easier way to acquire skystones or increase drop rates, it could help alleviate some of the difficulties of this issue. I’d also like do address how incredibly irksome it is to put together gear for your unit when you can not view all armor, including the ones that are already equipped. There could be an equipment manager where we can piece sets together to see the before and after stats of your unit. And then total up the amount of gold based on what piece of armor moves from one place to another. You waste so much gold trying to move your gear around and gold isn’t easy to farm when you use it for many other things as well. I can go from a few million gold to ten thousand really quickly. In order to reattain that amount, it would take so much time and use of energy which could be utilized somewhere else. It’s a big waste and this could be improved.

Pay to win game. It’s a pay to win game, more money spent more energy and items you get, more energy more time to hunt items. They always release events that gives out more advantage to people that pay and for upgrading their characters and items. Of course they still give out daily prices for logging in and doing quests but it leans out more to people that spend real cash. Still a fun game to play. There are some cases that I saw in forums that if you do buy cash items and for some reason you get charge twice you often don’t get a refund even though it wasn’t your fault and it’s on their side that had the problem. Still an enjoyable game even if you don’t buy. Just be aware that they really don’t care about resolving some issues regarding purchases, if by any chance their transaction system messes up and your account gets screwed over it’s really hard to get compensation from them. Look up some of the reviews too, the developers for this game don’t give a crap about it’s player community it’s all about profit and it steals money from your CC. Make sure you double check your CC history because even if it says transaction fail, they will still charge you and you won’t get your money back. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!

Good. Very good game. Fantastic art works, lots of contents, new events almost every 1-2 weeks. Endless playtime, addictive gameplay. The things that I have a problem with are how expensive the packs are and the summon chances. For the high prices, more contents should be added to the packs to make it worth the purchase. Or lower the prices. Looking at how expensive the packs are doesn’t make me want to purchase it at all. Lower prices however, i can purchase multiple without having to bite my nails or having a guilty feeling by purchasing it. Don’t be greedy with the high prices. More games are coming out that are making you purchasing packs at a really expensive amount to advance; I really enjoy the game and hope it won’t turn into another one of those and making me quit playing it. I would love to purchase the packs to support the game, but you have to work with the customers and lower it down. Summoning system could be improve. More hero summons rather than artifacts. I’ve buy packs AND used the summon tickets provided in the game multiple times and still couldn’t get many heroes. Only repetitive artifacts that are worthless to me. It gets frustrating and makes me want to quit playing. Not worth spending if all i’m getting are crappy by chance heroes and the same artifacts.

SUPER LOW drop rate for good gears. I’ve played the game for almost two years. The equipment system of this game is so dated and broken. First, un-equipping/changing a gear on a character requires ridiculous amount of money. Second, the drop rate for good gears is EXTREMELY low. The game needs lots of farming in general. So you can imagine the frustration of getting practically nothing after all that hard work I’ve put in. Leveling up equipments also requires charms(and you don’t get many of them that easily) which limits how many gears you can upgrade per week. Not to mention the extremely LOW chance of getting good sub stats when you level up an epic/heroic gear. You can only get the sub stats modified if you’re well-geared to farm on expedition missions. Makes 0 sense, right? This has prevented me from getting to higher tier in Arena as my equipments are never good enough. I used to farm everyday till I realized it’s pointless. I enjoyed the game at the beginning and have paid a fair mount of money on the game. However, the low gear drop rate has really killed the joy. It’s no surprise to see the game fell out of the App Store chart already.

Has potential but rates are ridiculous!!. This game is a great game has a great storyline and all. But the rates for this game is so trash it really pisses me off. One of The only rpgs on mobile that I liked but nooo, let’s ruin a spectacular game with rates. Seriously, afk arena and idle heroes is better than you! Afk arena rates are around the same or maybe a bit worse than yours, but it’s way easier to get gems to do Summons! I forgot about idle heroes because I stopped playing that game, but I know I got 4 stars way easier than this game! And those two games are known for being p2w. Even though they have slightly improved. I’m not saying you need 4-5 stars, but from the time that I spent playing this game which isn’t a lot though, I’m predicting whales will dominate the pvp and the story line will get super hard but you only have 3 and 4 star heroes and one 5 star maybe if you did the beginning roll with 30 ten pulls. Please, please fix this game!! It has so much potential don’t ruin the chance you have please! For now I will play it for a little bit more but if this doesn’t change I will just move on to their rpgs like another Eden, Afk Arena, langrisser, and I’m just trying out azur lane.

Good game That Gets Ruined by the Pay to Win. Epic Seven is an amazing game at first glance. It’s got amazing art and in depth gameplay accompanied by an interesting story. All of these qualities are greatly hindered by how pay to win this game really is. I’ve played this game for around 3 years now and I’ve gotten far enough into it that it feels like I have to spend massive amounts of money in order to gruels progress. It is so difficult to play this game without spending money. They constantly come out with bundles that cost between $20 and $100 that are just not worth the money. It is a gacha so some of the prices make sense but I’ve played numerous other gacha that are cheaper and less pay to win while having the same great qualities as Epic Seven. I think Genshin Impact is the perfect example of this. They don’t constantly come out with overpriced packs that aren’t worth it and the game doesn’t become unenjoyable as you play it. I’ve completed almost everything in Genshin and I still find it enjoyable but with Epic Seven, it just becomes so pay to win that I simply don’t want to play it anymore. It’s simply discouraging. I also recommend that any new players create a Stove account if they plan to play this game for a long time. If you don’t have a Stove account, it’ll get deleted.

Terrible experience. This game is many things: Beautiful, addictive, fun…. unbalanced, exhausting, annoying…. You name it. While it’s beautiful art and characters, skills and animations, bgm and voice acting might be enough for one to play it for endless hours, it’s terrible gameplay and unfair mechanics ruin what could be the best gacha/mobile game in my opinion. If you think the pvp modes are unbalanced and pay to win, wait until you try the endgame modes, such as abyss. It literally feels like they ran out of ideas on some floors and started putting in nonsense into the mix. My guess is it is a way to push people into buying their in game packs. Another issue is the frustrating summon system which makes no sense. There is at least 5 different summon types, and two of the main ones put both characters and items called artifacts into a single pool. Want to pull for a limited character? You have to summon 50+ useless artifacts first. Don’t have enough bookmarks for the pity summon? Here’s useless 3* fodder to make up for it. I’ve played this game for far too long, and every time I go back to it, there’s a new reason for me to take a break. The way it’s headed, I might as well erase my account beforehand. My biggest regret is ever spending money on such a trash game that’s not worthy at all. Biggest advice I’d give is go to the in-game settings, and click on Delete Account. Save yourself from this junk and play something better.

Agree. I agree with the posted review by Bulldog2284 and Ffrk yoyo. Epic Seven is a fun RPG with quite a bit of character content and team building options. Downsides include: 1 - extremely low drop rates for great, potential “end-game content” characters compared to the high drop rates of crappy multiple summoned characters, especially frustrating after hours of invested time on the game, rather than spending lots of real-world money for the chance gamble/summon 2 - why does it cost gold currency in the game to switch around and try out different gear options on characters I had had to slave away at grinding for in the first place, with crap gear that I already own after spending time grinding away at getting??? GET RID OF THE COST OF CHANGING AROUND EQUIPMENT I OWN!!! 3 - the game producers are definitely NOT generous. I have played better RPGs with much greater detail, content, graphics, and effort put forth by the producers in efforts to : HAVE A HAPPY CUSTOMER / CLIENT. Part of keeping your customers is keeping them happy, help them out, throw them a bone once in a while. Maybe give out a 6 star upgrade “package” to your faithful players instead of trying to squeeze every penny out of people for a fraction of a percentage chance at getting a decent character. Maybe you should have the (also extremely low drop rate) required catalysts for hero upgrades as a daily login give-away too.

Wonderful game becoming aggravating to play. This games attention to detail is amazing. Beautiful game, well polished and great diverse strategy. It has its flaws but definitely a star in an ocean of bad. Really truly great game. Sad that it’s changing in many ways, some good and some bad. The reason I rate it 1 star is simply because the game is rewarding the players with less and less with each update less opportunity to summon for free. The pathways in which you could acquire bookmarks are rewarding the players with less every update. This last update is the last straw. I used to be content with only playing this game. Not anymore, I won’t quit in hopes they change but I am now open to looking for another game(before I was not willing to try new games as I was content) to spend my time and maybe money. ( I’m not ftp out of pride and if I could I would spend). If your looking for a good free to play game, keep looking because this game while good is quickly becoming not free to play friendly.

Painful. The game gets pretty annoying pretty quickly when it comes to the more challenging content like arena/abyss because of the painfully long hours you must sink into the game just to improve a single character. Equipment is weird. I never understood why I must spend to remove gear(50,000 at most) and why it usually takes dozens of hours to get a single piece of usable equipment. Rates are very low on character banners which discouraged from spending and I'm not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. moonlight hero rates appear to be almost impossible to get unless you’re REALLY lucky which in my year of consistent play, I have only encountered 2, Dark Corvus and Maid Chloe. Gold is really hard to maintain because of how expensive it can be to upgrade gear and remove them. Skystone is this game’s premium currency, and it’s pretty generous, showering you with it in the main story. But after the main story, your main income of Skystone will be from weekly arena rewards which is nice. The game is pretty cool and good. Until you reach the post-game. It’s all downhill from there. It’s a great game if you have a lot of free time, however it may not be for you if you don’t spend 99.9% of your day gaming on your phone.

Beautiful Animation. This game has amazing animation and the flow between combat and visuals is amazing and feels natural. A great turn based RPG with amazing characters regardless of rarity. If you create a team from all 3 stars and level them up to max they can be just as good if not better than a team created from 5 star characters. There is a lot of content that keeps you interested but does require some time to complete “farming” for end game and the requirements for upgrading characters can be extensive as well as upgrading skills. As someone who spends money on games they enjoy I think this is a great game and I don’t mind providing some funds to support the continued development and improvement of the game. Suggestions: Allow for multiple summon options at a discount for example if I want to summon 20 times allow me to purchase the summon at a small discount or provide a higher percentage for multiple summons for better summon possibilities. The summoning chances are a bit high for items but I think the balance plays well with everything and having a little more incentive to save up is always a good thing.

Coolest game I’ve ever seen.. This game is fire as heck, the animations are pretty smooth , the characters are fire as well, the graphics really matches the anime style. Everything about this game is awesome and I’m proud of haven play it. Though I got one idea that might improve the game a little more better than it already is. When a new player joins the game it would be really nice to give them a book with 4-5 or 6 star heroes that they can choose from. In that book if you please can add the witch that….I forgot her name lol I have a little of bad memory. But I think is the one with the pumpkin lantern and……Red hair I think….yeah that one. Also if you could add more fighting areas like I don’t know add more bosses. More fighting technics to the heroes. I don’t want to ask too much because it would seem that I only want the rewards for myself and no. It’s not like that. I wanna give new players a chance to make it in this game, also I’m not saying that the creators are cruel or anything. Is just it could make new players have a better fighting perspective and to make them feel comfortable in this game so that could be their first legendary hero that they can have. If the creators add this ideas I might get that witch I said earlier…That’s the only hero it’s left for me to get and it was hard as heck to get it in the Halloween event but at the end I couldn’t get it TvT…Please read my review ;-;

Great game. I’ve been a f2p player for over a year now and I still think this game by far is the best gacha game I ever played. This game takes it to another level from the visuals to the mechanics of the game and you really have strategize carefully especially in pvp and guild wars. Sure you have to grind a whole lot for the gears but its not like you still can’t do the other contents the game offers. I’ve played a whole lot of gacha games in the past but I’ve been sticking to this one the longest so far. Players kept complaining on how much skytones they got and the lack of resources and watever but I say that’s all bs. My dudes this is a f2p game with crazy visuals and gameplay and I know that ain’t cheap for the devs. You pay them through your time playing the game. I’ve saved up so much resources that I haven’t been having trouble doing any end game content. Mind you I haven’t beat abyss 90 but breh I saved up more skytones than it actually rewards you. This is just my honest review of the game as I’ve been seeing a lot of people complaining lately and I just want new players to give it a try.

Most Extreme Cash Grab Ever. I don’t write reviews often but this one deserves a review. Honestly, the story, artwork, and play style are excellent. I’ve played a lot of similar games and this one is well polished and deserves a try. However, it’s an extreme cash grab compared to other as well. It has the same gem shop and package deals like the other free games in this genre. However, unlike most they only allow single summons instead of the usual buy 10, which usually gives you an improved drop rate on higher tier units or items. Also, they mix together item drops with the hero summons. So with the items and single summons available, the drop rates and chances to get a 5 star champion is horrendous. You will be lucky to even get a 5 star out of 3000 gems or more. I understand it’s supposed to be rare and luck may be a factor, but they make it so you have to spend crazy amounts of money unlike any game I’ve played. If you are not a big spender I wouldn’t waste your time if you plan to invest a lot of time into this game. Even if you are, the amount of money you would spend to get the hero you want is probably costing you double our triple compared to other games in this genre. Probably why they can afford commercials for this game.

Play This Game!!!. I see people say they don’t write reviews for games.... well I do not ever write reviews for games but I am choosing to for this one because it’s worth my time to inform anyone who enjoys a good rpg to play this game between the great story the interesting characters that you actually grow attached to some you’ll love some you’ll hate I have played every rpg game in the store and this is the one that I look forward to picking up and playing I gave it 5 stars because it deserves it I mean it’s not perfect but I can forgive minor issues for and look at the big picture try this game I haven’t spent a dime yet and have played for days straight now I did hit a wall at level 40 on all my characters and now it’s a bit of a grind but I don’t mind it because it’s worth it to progress through the story the animations for the characters are great I love the cut scenes love the variety of monsters there is a lot to do and to the devs keep it up this is a hidden gem in the store that needs more attention like I said rpg fans give this a go I promise you won’t be disappointed......oh by the way join my clan if you need someone to play with guild name is guild adrion

Super Fun but Stressful Late Game. I’ve played this game since early 2019 and I’ve gotten to the highest tier in PVP as a free to play player. The game is well made and the user interface is always being optimised to make the experience better. The story and gameplay is fun, the rates are decent and they are generous with resources. If you were to play casually, I would highly recommend this game. If you’re a sweat like me who wants to get ridiculously strong in PVP and just wants to min max all your characters, you could try this game out. The only thing about that is it gets stressful trying to maintain that position and keep up with the meta as they release new characters that often times are power crept or completely counter older characters. RNG also plays a big part in combat and in character stats, so it’s quite common to lose to a measly 5% chance even though your opponent is much weaker than you. Overall good game though, or maybe I’m just a masochist.

Pretty Good. It’s got great visual elements and a functioning storyline. It’s surprisingly perfect for a random anime rpg. There are some parts that need fixing, or at least some form of tidying up, but mostly, it’s good. Although the thing that is so annoying and gets on my nerves every time, is that you can’t exchange an epic rune for ten greater runes, or a greater rune for ten normal runes. I have so many epic runes, but for newer characters, I may as well have none. Please make it so you can do that. It’s driving me absolutely insane. Aside from that though, my overall thoughts: Pretty Good.

Best game for smartphone🙏🏻. If you want a cute game, with nice Graphics, many characters with different history’s, many options that can keep you playing for hours , amazing voices for the characters, this is your game. Is a difficult game, but it’s all about read in the forums, Reddit is the best place to learn and ask, yes... the game takes time to improve and get better and you will have to spent money probably, but for me is worth it, maybe they could put lower price to the packs but it’s a 5 Star game!

Out of all similar games, this is the Best. I’ve played plenty of these types of games before, you know, action, 3-4-5 stars summon/gacha, an all. And honestly, this one is the best. Although I do wish a Japanese audio will come out, I’m pretty satisfied with the English/Korean voice-acting already. The animation is definitely one of the greatest factors I’m drawn to this game, aside from the art, and also the great storyline that actually keeps me going in this game. A couple of flaws that I see the low-star ratings point out are points that I either disagree or more so nitpicking. Although it’s true that the game is just like how other mobile game works, when it actually just want you to pay for you to get the good, five star characters, I’m satisfied with the way things are now—with the many features, stories, characters, and battle systems, plus the animation (that some people see as annoying??? Why???), I don’t necessarily see any need to change the way things are. I find Epic 7 great as it is now and is definitely one of the best mobile games I’ve played out there.

Stereotypical Gatcha pain with good animation. Great animation quality and game play. However, rewarding systems for different modes, summon rates, compensation (from updates), pity system (120 summons for a guarantee character and 200 for another summoning system called Mystics) are horrible. What disappoints me is that the “rewarding” summoning (Moonlight summons) is HORRIBLE as it really lets you down after doing soo many summons. Game also lack quality of life systems, so basically everything you do has rng for pets, equipment, heroes, battles, etc. Overall a p2w with too much grinding, I hope developers do something about this to allow this game to survive even the “10 years” they promised. #GreedyDevelopers

Art and animations are great. But I can safely say that this game has by far the most terribly programmed randomisation in any software I have ever seen. Im not just talking about the gacha, even stuff for combat like critical chance, status resistance, skill chances, etc. are so absurdly skewed to extremes its not even funny. The RNG in this game is outright frustrating. You can have a 10% chance regularly proc, sometimes 10+ times in a row, while a 90% chance not proc for many times in a row regularly.

Game for Anime Lovers. Incredible anime animation, this game is designed for anime lovers it has an incredibly deep story that I would love to see in an action anime. Are usually don’t like the idea of reading in a game but the story sucked me in and it is really worth the read. Gameplay can be a little repetitive but never boring the only problem with this game is that it requires so much of your time.

Struggle to find its own direction. A carbon copy of summoner war with very high quality Anime 2d graphic. Has tons of RNG layers to slow down player’s progression. Devs’ vision for the game is misaligned with player’s needs and wants. Still struggling to distinguish itself from other games.

Crash game. Hi, I face a problem when I login into lobby interface, the game always crash outs. It's happen last night before game updated. But when I try to login to another server ( I already play In Asia server) everything is fine. Could you give me some advice please, thanks.

RNG7. Took me a while to realise how this turns into a gambling game in the long run. By investing resources into something and hoping to get good results/stats on gears - the end game is pretty disappointing and uninspiring. 90% of Epic 7 problems come from the current gear system. I mean the fact that you can’t even sell crafting materials gives it away - you’re forced to engage in the disgusting gold-sink system to get the 1/100 decent equipment piece. You’re only the better player through luck. Even if you do pull for the good heroes, bad equipment roll rates restrict you from using only a few. I have several 5 star heroes benched as I don’t have the viable equipment to make them usable. On another serious note, resources such as molagoras and gold are scarce and barely given throughout the game - resulting in another limiting factor to players who want to build specific roster units without actually being forced to pay for it. TLDR: You always hear it because they never address the problem - the gear system seriously needs a complete rework.

Love it. I honestly love this. It is great quality and has a engaging story. Beautiful art and high quality. Ik others have said this but out of the rest of gacha fighting games this must be my favourite. 5/5, if you are thinking of downloading this please try it. And the download and update times are great.

Used to be good but not anymore. Really liked the game and have been playing since launch. The game started out good but after half a year since launch the game is seriously lacking in contents and the stamina of this game is ridiculously lacking. For a max level player, the existing stamina pool is only enough to run the contents for 5 rounds or so. It is a stupid practice for the dev to prevent the players to potentially play their game. I would rather spend the money in trying to get more units than spending on stamina. The pathetically low drop rate from upgrading materials to equipments make it frustrating when there aren’t enough stamina to farm for the items needed. Would not suggest new players to play this game unless you’re into spending money for stamina.

1 week straight. Hey loving the game everything is so clean from the characters to the storyline and to top that off the animations are gorgeous have not stopped playing it for a week straight. Just have one hiccup the really rare material that you get from certain enemies are way to difficult get I have been trying to get a “small sun badge” for about three days now and nothing would be cool to have some armour sets the increase your chances of get rare materials Just a thought other then that 5 stars is the only rating I can give it “would give a higher rating but I can’t” Keep up the awesome job guys

Best Gacha all-around. Have been playing this game since launch, and nothing comes near to it, the amount of quality that's put into this game is absurd

This company is infamous for misleading and hiding essential data. This game is polished no one is denying it, if only the devs behind it could be honest and upfront to actual statistical data regarding equipment upgrading percentage, which they don't. They are beguiling to their customers and player base, seeing how their previous records show that they mislead the community for a whole 3 years regarding counter rate. And how would we know if they are not witholding, tampering with numerical data regarding the should have been fair share between each sub stat upgrade chances, we dont and their spokeman refuse to make a clear statement addressing this, seeing how they fall back to the same old non disclosure, not a very honest moves smilegate. So if you are thinking about whether or not you should be putting your time in the hands of these conniving devs, i urges you to turn back, it's never a good idea to support this type of developers

Sketchy?. Just a heads up to people who just happened to pass by my review. There are multiple accounts that posted reviews with the core idea being “do not trust 1 star ratings/reviews” and “this game is very fun” etc. Not only do their main motive seem like attracting customers, but it is also written in multiple languages to possibly increase customer range. This is only my interpretation of what I currently see after reading a wide range of reviews. In other words, feel free to disagree with me.

Don't trust those 1-star ratings. I've been playing this game for a while (nearly a year) and to be honest, this is one of the best gacha game I've ever played. The gacha rate may be low, but there is guaranteed summon, which means you will eventually get the hero you need after a specific number of summons. The game require heavy farming and grinding but there are reasons for this. Firstly, the rate is releasing new contents is a little bit slow (new contents usually come once every month) so in the mean time while waiting, farming is the only thing you can do. Secondly, a lot of players rush through the contents then find themselves have nothing to do besides farming; and complain the game is releasing new contents too slowly. Most one star ratings come from players who are toxic and impatient and spend too much time on the game itself. This game is totally not suitable for them. Also recently, there is a trend in the E7 community to rate the game one star with random stupid reasons so that the Dev would change the game to how they want. But to be honest, they are just killing the game itself

iPhone notch and screen issues. Heaps of buttons and text on screen are covered by the notch and rounded corners. Epic 7 is my favourite game but moving from an IPhone 8 to an iPhone 13 pro felt like a downgrade in gaming experience. Would be great if this issue could be addressed considering how many iPhone users play epic 7.

2 years of playing and I still love it. I started playing this game 2 years ago when it was still in its infancy. It was good back then and it’s still good now - everything from PvP to the story mode and the PvE challenges, which all require a level of strategising and management that is fun but now too overwhelming. Being a gacha, changes and improvements continually need to be made so everything continues to remain enjoyable. While a few of the changes and improvements initially were straight up dreadful, the company that develops this game has shown in incredible ability to listen to feedback. There was a period in which this game was review bombed but they took swift action to make sure the issues the players had were resolved quickly and very few players have complained about it since. Overall, would strongly recommend.

The gacha needs to change. I couldn’t pull a 5* to save my life. The pull rates are so bad. Can’t there be a gacha for heroes and a separate gacha for artifacts? I miraculously pulled 3 5*’s within the first week of playing this game, but after that, for an entire year, I couldn’t pull even ONE 5*. I kept getting 3* artifacts and heroes, so of course I got salty and ended up uninstalling (I started playing again a week ago). The game itself is amazing, no qualms there (maybe add a dungeon to access Charms?), but the gacha is such bs.

Good game. Very excellent game that requires little to no transactions. However, to compensate for that very fact, grinding is absolutely necessary. Gacha system is very legit; there are no strings attached; but this can be overly frustrating. I mean, seriously? To get the 5 star hero with absolute certainty, you would have to gamble over a hundred times!!?? Story: 8 Graphics: 9 Gacha: 3( my “luck” is terrible) Grind: 7 Fun: 10 ( WT# this game is addicting: Had to delete it as it is ruining my life LOL) Overall: (too lazy to find average): an 8. My luck is horrendous: I got mostly artifacts, and while I did get good artifacts, the heroes I did receive after, like 50 tries are 99% three stars and a 1% four stars. Would be great if I am rewarded a ticket to get a 5 stars hero

Unordinary. This game has a new type of fulfilment, a bit different yet the same with other gacha games I really likes the implementation of summoning system and the Surprise mechanic(lol), thus there are 2 type of summoning and there is one called moonlight. Summon special in in occasion it’s really a good thing so please don’t break what you’ve been build the summoning system, please reconsider don’t remove it. Don’t destroy what you’ve been build, it feels really wrong.

Amazing game yet harsh.. Unfortunately, if you do not have Dienne, you will struggle at this game. You can no longer get her. You’ll see every youtuber clearing content with her but if you don’t have her it will be tough luck. If you’re new, good luck, can no longer pull Dienne she’s gone forever.

See for yourself!!!. It’s a great game!!!! SG definitely spoils it’s players. It proven by the rating. They down vote it because they know SG will listen to all of their whining. But the game is balanced, generous and very fast is content growth! All the whining votes are selfish and only relates to themselves without consideration of the other players who actually plays!!! Definitely a game worth playing!!!

Strong recommend. Beautiful graphically and one of the only gacha games I’ve played with a genuinely engaging story. Skipped story segments like usual at the beginning but by the end I really regretted it (plus no way to rewatch dialogue segments). Attentive and player focused dev team. Fast loading times. Actual viability and characterisation of 3-4 star grade units. Just a really great game, easy 5 stars. Do note there is a fair bit of grinding involved in unit progression.

READ THIS EVERYONE. Epic Seven is a strongly recommended RPG which always tries and change up the game (example gameplay). Devs are also keen on giving old characters buffs and reworks and are always trying to aim forward to make the game fun and free to play. The reward for beginners are good as they give you 30x rerolls which guarantees you a worthy five star heroes and artefacts. Not only that, 3 stars are also AMAZING to have... Especially when they are specialty change (which is a full rework on the heroes art and skills). Arena also rewards player really well and give players opportunities to summon for new heroes which are constantly release weekly or so. The gameplay is also beautiful as well as character design, music and hero ability animation. And to make it better, has an intensely good storyline that also makes you solve the mysteries of Ritania. To state again, the developers are always keen on listening to us player’s opinions. Overall Epic 7, is a great RPG, which is free to play and had an engrossing storyline and gameplay.

Please don’t trust 1 star ratings. Epic seven is a high strategy (especially late game) game with good art, a LOT of content to explore with many updates giving us a new characters every 2-3 weeks as well as side stories and progression to the current story + much more content such as world boss and new aspects of PvE and PvP. Yes, there is farming involved, but what the hell else do you expect to do? You want to login, get free rewards, upgrade then leave? And why are people complaining about rates, summons are handed out in many stages of the game and that’s what makes the characters more fun to get. If it was easy to get characters, everyone would have the same teams and that would be boring af. There is never a pay wall and devs already give a lot free equipment and resources through frequent events. Yea, the packs are overpriced, but you absolutely don’t need them as they are just a small boost to what the game gives for free. I’ve played for over a year and it seems like the player base is increasing everyday, as the game never gets boring. Moreover, the devs actually listen to feedback and buff/ nerf characters when people ask. So shut the f up just because you don’t have the best inventory in the game in the first week of playing and you expect a login logout experience.

Don’t be fool with all these 5 star ratings. Like my tittle said. Don’t be fool. I don’t know if their just beginners or paid reviewers. Here’s one truthful honest review about this game. The early game phase is pretty good. Fun and generous. If your looking to be playing 1 month plus you will be fine. Any more then that if your reaching mid to end game depending on how hardcore you are. You will feel like they never ever make any end game at all. Been like that for half a year. 2020 January is the worst. They literally mistranslate a hero. Made a lot of people who didn’t know it wasn’t that good summon. And change the skill description one hour after. Not to mention the worst part in this is. They refund everyone who summoned during that time for free. But not the others who miss the time frame or didn’t participate. If you plan to put your money into this game. Just so you know it’s not worth it and they literally give others thousands of dollars real money worth if your lucky or unlucky and u don’t get anything. So forget competitive gaming, pvp arena or rta if you wanna enjoy this game and your fine.

Such a poor customer service. I do not recommend service that this developer provides as it is so poor. I requested an inquiry for heir recovery and they couldn’t help where it was simple mistake and as a player p2p I have spend quite big amount of dollars to get that character from rate summons. All they care is money and if they have to help you with any issue , all I say they don’t care at all. Such a money vacuum this game I play other games and I spend some money and the support they provide is way higher than EpicSeven.

Screen orientation.. Could you add the option to turn off screen reorientation for tablet? (Or just remove the feature) It’s also buggy and kicks you out of side story back into the tavern.

Top tier gacha game. This game is undoubtably one of the best gacha games out right now in the market. As a player who has played since close to launch, this game has continued to captivate my interest through it’s beautiful art style, animation and character designs. The gameplay is your typical turn based strategy format with more emphasis on team building rather than having a single hero dominate through content. Although this could be true to an extent with some of the strongest heroes in the game, those heroes especially in PvP content can easily be taken down if they do not have a team which synergies well. The rates of “summoning” the rarest heroes in this game aren’t the greatest, but this is easily compensated by the amount of premium currency the game showers you with. Overall this game is one of the best of its kind out right now in the market and this rise to success is not only due to the game itself but also due to the very generous developers who listen to the community and actively makes an effort to improve the game.

ok?. all in all an ok game with some good animation scenes and voice acting, however to max out your rank and character is just plain stupid to achieve. The gacha ratings are quite low but alright to deal with aside from the 5 and rarer characters. Not the best but it’s ok to play.

Different from the rest. I’ve played tons of gacha games, but this is the only one I’ve stuck with for this long, I’ve been playing since Feb this year and love it. The characters are memorable, the community is fun on reddit, the game itself is gorgeous and detailed and the developers are constantly making changes that make me want to continue playing. I hope they keep up the great work!

Becoming a casino. E7 is probably the best gacha game on the market however recent heroes has made the game more akin to casino than ever. Previously, you are able to construct a strategy and teams to PvP but with the new heroes, this is no longer feasible. If you do not have certain heroes, you are essentially penalised and certain content will not be accessible or they will be frustrating for you. PvP really depends on 1. Characters that you have pulled / paid for, and 2. Lucks on gear which is grind-fest (nothing new vs. other KR games). The shift to more RNG based combat has in my view, degraded E7. It’s becoming more of a dice-roll when it comes to whether you win a PvP battle or otherwise. It doesn’t matter if you have spent hundreds of hours on crafting that perfect gear, when RNGsus is not with you (and there are outrageous amount of checks in combat), it’s a lose for you. It’s demotivating and not fun.

Real Epic Seven Awesomeness and Amazing. Best Free RPG Amine Fantasy Game. Really relax fun easy enjoy amine game and sound music amazing. Visuals only, core ideas very flawed. Visuals are just about the only thing this has going for it. It’s horribly unbalanced with its characters and as each month passes they find new ways to gouge customers of money with more aggressive tactics. Also in comparison to other gachas, they gave almost nothing for Xmas and New Years compared to others like Dragalia Lost and Granblue fantasy. This game also has major stamina and gold earning/equipment problems. Super stingy company.

Fantastic game but annoying. This game is great I play it a lot almost everyday can’t fault the game on much it’s just that good. All tho there is one thing that makes it abit annoying and that is the ridiculous drop rate for 5 and 4 star summons. I spent close to 1500 skystone and not a single 5 star or 4 dropped just kept getting 3 star stuff which is abit frustrating. Really want to get sir Charles but some how I know I won’t get him. Apart from that it’s a really great game.

My favourite!. Honestly the best anime mobile RPG in my opinion. Has a lot of content, good PvP, lots of PVE, amazing animations, amazing character designs. Honestly worth a try! Just prepare for a grind, leveling characters to their highest potential can take a very long time! Still worth it though. Love this game! The only mobile game I’ve stuck with for years.

Great Game (seriously). When I first saw this game I thought it looked fun, then I downloaded it and it’s actually not that boring or hard, tutorial is simple and the story line and characters are amazing. Designs are really well done. The animation for special attacks could be better, but it’s still good. 9.8/10. Play it when you’re bored and it’s a good game to recommend.

Great visuals & story, terrible rates, grindy and hardly any QoL features. As the title says, great game to look at with stunning visuals and smooth gameplay using the Yuna engine, with an engaging & entertaining story throughout that has regular and consistent content updates. But all of this is all but ruined by the fact this is pretty much one of the most grindy, repeatative and time consuming, interms of progression, of any of the current crop of mobile rpgs on the market. Combine that with absolutely terrible rates, almost non-existant QoL (Quality of Life) features and Devs (Publishers, yes here is looking at you Scamgate) who for all intensive purposes seem to only care about fleecing as much money out of it’s playerbase as possible and this only appears to be gettingworse with every new feature that’s added to the game in recent times. Give this one a hard pass is my advice. It had it’s time in the sun for the 1st 6mths or so from global release but is currently going downhill fast and will be lucky to see out another 6mths. Has pretty much turned into a last ditched cashgrab by the Devs/Publishers until this whole circus act is finally closed down for good by them when the cashflow from players eventually runs dry. RIP E7, so much promise but yet another game ruined by a ‘more of the same’ micro-transaction greedy Korean mobile game app company, shame!!!! :((((

Beautiful!!!. The game itself is quite remarkable with beautiful graphics and also very good animations overall the game is pretty good but the only thing that I hate is the forced animation watching after each act and the most annoying part is having to skip 2 times every lvl so auto is pretty much walks for that’s it and the Ai is pretty stupid. And the summon rates of corse are ok when they want to be :) But still it’s a really enjoyable game.

Real Time Arena is a Disgrace riddled with lag and bugs. The real time arena should not have been released to the public in its current state and feels its just been rushed, it lags, doesn’t allow the player to input commands 90% of the time and it’s just downright appalling in its current condition, you get paired up with people from all corners of the globe and yet this game mode cannot even register one measly command yet alone connect you and even after the round is up your stuck on a connecting screen forcing you to close the app, a very half arsed job that should’ve had more work on instead of focusing on releasing more heroes just to squeeze more money out of people who pay money, at least other gachas like GrandChase though having lesser heroes has way more content than this game and has been released only a few months after E7, the only reason why I probably play this game now is if it weren’t for me spending money, I’ve been playing for over a year now and I still haven’t maxed rank, goes to show that this game just lacks in its content and is going downhill and FAST I couldn’t care less about being given heroes as the drop rates are still outright obnoxious, you play for over a year and you’d be lucky to even summon 1 5*moonlight hero or none at all, for a gacha it’s just lacking and not worth it anymore, I would’ve recommended this some months ago but not now

Great game, but…. Epic 7 has everything you’re looking for in a gacha game pity pulls, high quality animation and auto battles, but unfortunately f2p players can be drastically behind p2w players because of moonlight characters being released here and there and no way for f2p players to get easily without hard grinding. Epic 7 also has trouble making events that are fun and keep the players engaged because most of the events they make are recycled.

Upsetting. I invested a lot of time into this game. the issue that arose recently is how they give you WAY TOO MUCH energy, i have been playing for a week to see how much they would give and they gave me 2,000 energy when my max is only around 90. it’s ridiculous and sometimes, i don’t even know what to do with that much energy, it would be better if they gave you something else like leifs or coins. or even skystone but it’s getting ridiculous.

Amazing. This game is spectacular. Great character development, best cutscenes and fight animations I have ever seen in the video game. The cutscenes put some popular shows to shame. Would recommend if you like anime or love a fun game. Would recommend 10/10

I AM OBSESSED. This game is absolutely amazing full stop. The characters are all well made, nice graphics and the little short video clips are so unique and makes the experience more interesting. Kinda wish that we can trade same star characters with other people but overall, one hundred percent would recommend this app to anyone.

Awesome but......... The shop has rediculous prices but other than that it is spectacular. The animation and graphics are breathtaking and the English voice acting is divine for a game type that doesn’t usually have English voice actors and usually only has Japanese, it is absolutely refreshing.

Very free to play friendly and I love it!. Epic seven is one of my most played gacha games. I love the characters and I love the thrill of summons. When you see sparkles you just gets these anticipation and I just find it so nice (don’t judge me please XD) anyways, even though I have only been playing for about half a month I can definitely say that this game is free to play friendly. Don’t need to spend money even though you can. Gacha games are grinding and you always have to be very patient. Even with people that pay, I believe that they also have to be patient with grinding and all that. 5 star rating for me!

A great game but developers make some weird decisions (see edit). The animations in this game are astounding. There’s also a lot of fun to be had in the gameplay. However, there are some points to complain about - for example, there are some characters which require farming runes. To max out one character requires 410 runes. The best available farming spot gives a maximum of 3 per run. What’s worse is that easier farming spots give about the same number of runes. Why not increase the drop rate for higher difficulties? These are kind of nitpicks, though. I still highly recommend. Edit: Due to the last two updates, I feel it is necessary to protest in some way. The players have been asking for certain features for several months. These features were implemented in such a way that no one wants to use them. They cost far too much resources, and there has been no increase in player ability to get said resources. Edit 2: Changed from 1 star to 2. The latest update fixes a system that was just implemented, but doesn’t address underlying gold and stamina shortages. Edit 3: The developers are now starting to actually show signs of listening to player feedback. I’m still leaving the edit history here, so new players reading this can know the risks. The company has a history of dipping back into bad practices when everyone’s happy for a while.

Game crashes and goes pitch black. I really like this and it’s my first time playing but when I try and play level 1-10 the game just goes pitch black and it doesn’t let me continue the game or story mode I’m really disappointed that I really want to keep playing this game but the thing that is making me think is that my friend is playing on the game but he can past the level and nothing happens is it because I’ve got an iPhone sx max and he’s got an iPhone 8 Plus please tell me now because I really want to continue this game

Best game so far !!!. I love the fact that it’s got anime art style which actually pulled me in and I spend almost the whole day playing it just needs more recognition I hope there’s more collabs later with like anime’s that’ll be soo cool with the art style totally love this game thank you all for making such a wonderfull game 👌❤️

Was good, got worse. Badly designed pet and gear systems with rough rng makes jack a dull boy

Favourite mobage. Bro I love this game so much. I saw the ad featuring tamarinne when she first came out, and was like damn that’s some really good animation so I started playing, but then ended up getting hooked on the story and soundtrack and characters and now checking in everyday is the most fun ever. I can’t commit to anything which is why I’m still single so the fact that I can commit to this is really saying something about how good the game is. Anyways strong recommend 11/10 you’ll feel for the story and characters and never run out of things to do. Btw shout out to my guild leader heinlen who went missing one day, the guild was one of my first and a lot of fun to be in. Hope you’re doing alright man.

Screw this game. Doesn’t favour players who support their game.. Drop rates/banner for new heroes are absolutely infuriating. Having to pull on a banner doesn’t necessary grants you the specific 5 star hero the banner is about. Even with 18k skystones and 400+ bookmarks which adds up to 240$ cad (4 months of pure grinding), you might just receive pure garbage. This is further highlighted in pvp; having to not summon that particular character, you’ll just completely fall off your rank, hence creating a pay to win aspect in the game. Like fixing your ml meta in which people spend 500$ on mystic, isn’t going to be resolved by releasing a character that can counter them, because YOU STILL NEED TO SPEND MONEY JUST TO FRICKING OBTAIN HER, AANNDD YOU MIGHT NOT EVEN OBTAIN HER WITH 50/50 CHANCE WITHIN 5*. The game is well designed and all, but how is anyone going to keep playing if they’re always getting obliterated in pvp. At max, you’ll play for 3 months, then later realizing the true hinderance of this monstrosity of a game.

Amazing. I never rated an IOS game before because nothing nearly touched me much as Epic7 did. Only thing close was FGO but this game I gotta give to to the Devs, they listen to player feed back and created a stunning, enjoyable and well polished game. 5* game for sure hands down. 💯

Terrible!. It won’t even let me into the game! I DON’T recommend this game

Great game, bad support. The base game is great but the devs are not releasing new content to support the game. The recent updates were rehashed from other game and very predatory in nature.

Bad. Too much rng

E7. It’s a good game. Yeah the drop rates are kinda low, yeah it’s tough not to be a whale, yeah sometimes the content is kinda dry... BUT I’ve searched for other gatcha games and nothing matches up to this one on quality, content, layout and characters (progression and gear). I’d definitely recommend this to anyone into gatcha games.

Money and time sink. The latest changes have turned the game into an undesirable time and money sink without any gratification.

Good - not flawless. It has great art (best 2D animation I have seen in a gacha game). The gameplay and mechanics are also decent. Gacha rates are by no means the worst, but also by no means the best. A small problem I have with the game is the barrier between moonlight units and regular ones; moonlights are in a rarity class of their own and typically have loaded skill sets. Honestly, Gacha by itself is already pretty sketchy, but moonlight/mystic summons are just kinda... overkill (why not just have all the units in a single pool with occasional limited time release units?). The PvP is F2P friendly up to a certain threshold (I’d say low champions league); there’s probably a steeper falloff in World arena, but I don’t really play World arena, so I wouldn’t know. The single biggest problem with this game is the massive stamina/gold sink that is gear grinding. Giving out more stamina will only help so much when the problem lays in the hell that is late game gear grinding rng. I think that no one would complain if gear acquisition was made easier and the rng factor reduced. More gear also means more units built, which leads to an overall better experience for players.

Free to play with constant content. This game is amazing 10/10 animation 8/10 gameplay For a free to play game this is amazing I don’t know why people are saying they are getting scammed since this a free game with almost NO NEED FOR PAYING FOR ANYTHING. Updates are free , new content is free, even battle passes are free I recommend this game for people who like these sort of games. Forget about the toxic community asking for free stuff and enjoy!

Horrible resource system and etc.. The lack of gold, energy,... are getting worse after each update for end game players. Not to mention the resource drop rate, reward/achievements, pet (auto) system and equipment conversion can’t even do the job right. On the other hand, the game is beautiful and has so much potential but the company is digging their own grave with these issues.

Beautiful game. Trashy innards. Need more be said? The graphics are great, the skill animations are gorgeous... but everything aside from the gilded exterior has long rotted.

Sad ending. So sad to see a game get ruined by bad dev decisions. There has not been any new content for end game in the last year. Looks like the money is now put into another game.

Pretty good summon rates & fantastic Art. Played SW for nearly 5 years now: 7 total 5*s Played FGO for about 2 years now: 13 total 5*s Played GFL for about 2 years now: 18 total 5*s Played Azur Lane for about 2 years now: 28 total 4 SSRs Played E7 for about 2 years now: 21 total 5*s The gacha’s summon rates are pretty good, and rate up banners help with getting who you want. The gameplay is pretty fun if you like hero collectors and the art is fantastic. A bit farm heavy, but only for certain things. Affinity system, pets, and skins are a nice touch to make the game feel more personalized. I’d recommend it if you’ve got time to kill on train rides to work or a lot of downtime during the day. You can progress pretty quick even as a casual which is nice, though endgame will be slow if you dont farm for better gear here and there. Overall a 9/10 from me.

Awesome. It’s kinda funny, most of the reviews are bad, and most of them are also about the person not being able to pull certain characters. Speaking from experience since I’m a F2P person, I have only ever spent my money on one pack in this game, nothing more. I got basically all my characters by myself and worked hard for them. Epic Seven should not be getting such bad reviews just because someone has unwavering bad luck than someone else. I’ve even got event characters under only 5 summons, (sometimes more than 10 lol) sometimes even praying that the next summon is the event character. In conclusion, in every game you ever see on this store that has a good rating but bad reviews, it either means that it was from a long time ago, or people have just bad luck in the game, or they really just can’t get into it. Either way, this should not stop you from playing that said game. You could have a very fun time, or you could get very bored, sometimes it just can’t be helped that someone can’t get into something. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I suggest you try out this game for yourself. Even though I quit recently due to basically finishing the game, I could say that Epic Seven was one of my top Gacha Games ever, being a close contender to Genshin Impact.

suggestions !! devs pls notice. the game is really good , but i want more multiplayer options! the guilds are really distant, since you don't really know anyone. Why not add a chat for the guilds so then if people are online they can chat with eachother (only if they are in the same guild) ? i just feel really lonely and need friends lol

They dont care. Customer support won’t respond

I really love the game but.... I really like the game but since I got the iPhone update to iOS 13 I keep getting the cinematic loop and it become unplayable for now.. Please fix it and I can re-write the review

To new player. Before downloading this game, google downfall of epic seven. This game had a great start. It's been out for a year but it seems like everything is going downhill recently. Developers fail to realize what the game is lacking and what's needed to be improved. Extremely low incentives vs high grind load+time is the main issue. I got fooled by the anime cut scenes when first started playing because when you think there will be more but actually that's the only cut scenes you will ever get.

Terrible patch. Releasing something without being tested properly. Reward is a joke from ‘new’ content that lasts 20seconds. Seems like this game cant do a single thing right without the community being outraged all the time.

Back on its feet. Despite having had many hiccups along the way, the game is at its core one of the best gacha experiences one can have. Kudos to the whole team!

Waiting too long for good updates!. Abyss! More PvE content! Less RNG on equipment! It’s such a waste of time!!

PLEASE FIX YOUR GAME SMILEGATE. I’m going to be honest here, when I first started playing this game it was a truly fun experience with great content but as I invested more time into it, my interest started to decline due to the repetitiveness of hunts and end game content being too hard for what us players were given. I understand that it’s supposed to be super grindy and that goes for every gotcha game but smile gate has time and time again refused to listen to their fan base while simultaneously pushing out pay to win content nobody asked for. If they would only listen I would undoubtedly give this game a 5 star but if they continue their ways this game with sadly be doomed to fail.

Game system started to go wrong. The last two months, most of the game system updates are broken/bad designed. The actual draw probability for me has been consistently below the promised probability. I am a heavy in-game spending player therefore the probability may be manipulated to simply drag me deeper as I am data analyzed by them to have low resistance to spend money probably. I will stop to spend until they improve and fixed their problem. If they do improve, I will change back the star rate as the game does have good potential under good game operation.

Play PvP if you like to loose.. PvP in this game is impossible.

Haters. The only people who give the game a negative review are just sour, whiny people. Thousands of us think this is a phenomenal game. I’ve been playing it for years 👍

Dev does not listen to playerbase. No matter how hard the people complaining, dev continues to do whatever they want to make the most money out it. Patch after patch, the rng is still horrible and grinding is ridiculous. You can spend hundreds of energy and not getting anything that is close to useful. Even secret shop gives better gear than hunt 11.

Weekly 5 hr maintenance is ridiculous. Not only does it take so many unnecessary data, they’re badly timed. 1) always during guild wars, so youre unable to do anything 2) if you bought any monthly packs or extra summons the update will prevent you from using it. You will not be compensated for that loss either 3) 500mb-1gb to for an update on new banners or stories is ridiculous 4) once the update is done, you have a 1hr time limit before the day switches. Often these are unregular times like 5am If you want to waste hours trying to grind for gear and characters, deal with slow laggy interface, have 6-10gb of data used for boring or unnecessary “fixes”, and deal with an over bloated amount of useless features then I recommend the app. If you want to play a game where developers respect your time and actually care about your feedback, look elsewhere

Day 1 player. Been playing since day 1 and while some updates were good, the negatives outweighs that. The nerf on the epic pass is another key example of how greedy the company is getting. Scum company nerfs a unit after releasing it and blaming on skill translation. If I can rate 0 I would. I want my money back.

I love this game so I have to 1* it now. The tittle says it all until there are positive changes

Greedy. This company is the epitome of greedy. Paygates for every event, updates geared towards whales. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME

Poor choices by Smilegate. Recent updates have made this game completely RNG based and frustrating. End game is just constant re-run of hunts that have several layers of RNG. Save yourself time and money by playing another game. The last few updates have also made the game significantly harder to play as F2P, with nerds to free resources, increased gold sinks, & useless functions that require paid currency.

Counter set. You really lied to us about counter set being 20% when it’s intended value was actually 30%. That took 3 YEARS?!?!? and we get 20 leifs for it ? Burn this game to the pits of the abyss.

Bad updates. Keeps asking me to update But every time I go to the App Store it doesn’t give me the option to update only to open the game A dumb circle of repetitiveness As well as so many updates and so much time unable to play the game with zero to garbage rewards for waiting Other games are offline for an hour and give you some sort of compensation

Stale and unrewarding. Never seen a game specially pvp oriented that rewards so much the person that gets lucky aka 15% resistance. No matter how much you’ve farmed and built your unit good it all boils down to are you lucky or not. Avoid playing this game to save your self sometime and play other gachas.

Easiest Gatcha game to play fully F2P. The game is very forgiving for a gatcha game. They hand out so much energy, there’s no down time. You fail a mission? They give your energy back. 3* and 4* champs can be just as OP as a 5* if you grind it out. The animations are repetitive but epic (pun not intended) as fudge. The only people who complain about this game are whales who never get their money’s worth and hardcores that have nothing left to do.

Clearing stuff up.. I want to make some things clear for new players looking at reviews. Yes, this game has had some awful time periods were there was no content, lack of resources, immense pressure to P2W, etc. But that was after the game had been out for a year, of course a content drought will happen. The game as it stands now is amazing and can provide countless hours of play time. It has a massive story, constant updates, good resource management and more. Speaking from a F2P perspective, I’ve never spent a dollar on this game and I can 100% notice a difference between me and “pay to win” players. But does that mean the game is pay to win? No. It means I’ve needed to put in even more effort then those who spend money. Over all, this game can provide more than any other mobile game out there and is an amazing experience for new players with a great community to help anyone no matter what point in the game you are.

iPad Pro 11 can’t full screen. Please make iPad Pro 11 Full screen adaptive before I will give 5 stars

abandoning veteran players to milk new players. for a quick buck. devs dont play their game, and if they do they're absolutely delusional thinking 'oh this'll go swell with the playerbase' game's trash right now don't pick it up. pets are part of a useless system, auto repeat is trash and raising them is a massive gold sink on top of every other gold sink in the game so players are strung up on gold constantly among other resources pets need like stigma and to an extent, time. meme's and fanart are great, it's too bad the publishers are employing shady practices to make more money.

100% Rng game. Dogs hit company everything rng

Garbage rng. My 5* rating got 15%’d and dual attacked

More problems each month. The game started out very strong, with fantastic graphics, engine, and gameplay. Over a full year into the game, gold is still the single most limiting resource and they continue to add more things requiring gold. Monthly events have had the 30% gold buff cut in half. New content is being added, but it’s content that auto-plays or has meaningful rewards for veteran/whale players. Sadly as much as I’ve enjoyed the game, I would not recommend it.

Honest Reviewer. This is going to be my first app review ever (gonna be super long). Epic Seven is the rare mobile game that I’ve continued to play for years now. I see a bunch of bad reviews which focus on the gacha aspect and of course pvp. I’ll talk about both of these issues to clear it up for any newcomers that see those reviews. I am in fact an f2p gacha veteran so this isn’t my first rodeo, I’ve also been playing E7 for roughly 3 years now (not including time quit). The gacha in Epic Seven is honestly extremely f2p friendly. You’ll see people complaining about playing for 2-3 years and not getting a lot ml5 (essentially epic seven’s version of light/dark variants of 5* units). All I can say is that those players must be extremely unlucky, but also aren’t maximizing their opportunity of getting mystic medals which are earned in large quantities through guild wars (mystic medals are used to pull on rate up ml5 banners, which has a pity system that carries over when the rate up switches). Moonlight bookmarks is another way of summoning ml units, recent change made it even easier to get ml4-5 because there’s a hard pity system now. Most of the rgb (red/green/blue = fire/earth/ice) units are all really good, most of which (mainly newer) are top tier in the pvp meta, ml5’s are sweet but only a handful (more like 2 handfuls) are high up in the meta. You can also upgrade certain 3* characters by “class changing” them, essentially making them just as good if not better than 4*’s and some 5*’s (mainly Carrot and Montmorancy). Overall they give tons of freebies which can get you jump started with solid characters, there’s also lots of free gear sets from events which are very viable for up to mid game. Highly recommend checking tier lists and guides if you wanted smooth sailing as a starter, community is extremely helpful and most of us are chill. For those that complain about pvp, all gacha veterans know that pvp in a gacha game is 100% gonna be built off of pay to winners or people who have played/grinded a really long time (both whales and f2p) and managed to get really good gear for their characters. The meta is in shambles because certain characters are way too powerful, which like you might see from other reviews, smilegate releases new characters with kits that counter the current meta. Basically the marketing scheme of creating an issue and then selling you the solution. The pvp isn’t what the game has to offer, I’ve been playing long enough as an f2p to have good gear + meta pvp characters to form meta team comps to rise up in pvp ranks + do well in guild wars, all it’s for is to get resources. You get weekly pvp rewards (you get to pick skystones or mystic medals), your rank is reset by 1 tier per week, but you won’t drop down a rank if you are at the lowest tier of that rank. HEADS UP regular pvp = fight against AI of player defenses, RTA = real time arena (you draft/ban characters against the person you are playing in real time). RTA is for the late end game players and honestly isn’t worth being touched, regular pvp you can do at your own pace, higher the rank = higher rewards at weekly reset. Well the biggest issues have been addressed, if you are a pvp ethusiast then E7 is not the game for you, it’ll be extremely hard to compete against veterans even if you are a whale, because gear is extremely important and you can’t pay to win your way to getting good gear, you can only buy energy which lets you grind more. Energy is given generously unlike other games with energy systems so that pay to win aspect isn’t even that big of a deal). The pve in E7 is solid, story is decent, characters are unique and interesting, also the anime style art is beautiful (for all the fellow weebs out there). Pve is actually quite challenging, but absolutely doable for f2p as long as you build the right characters + sometimes requires you to manual your way through (time skills or target certain enemies). Pve will be 95% of the experience until you reach the late end game where pvp becomes the focus. If you managed to read through this entire essay then go give E7 a try, it’s honestly one of the best mobile gacha games out there that can be played while doing other things with its auto play, but also fun enough to play manually because there’s tough content + pvp. Character designs, the art, and the graphics are amazing. I don’t recommend being a spender because of the extreme prices, the game is more fun as a f2p anyway and there are no pay walls. I have nearly every ml4, multiple ml5, and basically all the good limited characters (skipped out on non meta ones) as an f2p. I’ve also cleared most of the hardest pve content, champion rank in pvp (most of where higher end active players are, rank above is legend which is where the cream of the crop battle it out). That was it for my review, I’ll see you adventurers out there!

Refer choosing this game as a main game. It’s a love hate relationship. Some days u love the game and feel it’s the best ever the next day u feel like your forcing yourself to play and the developers are trying to force u to quit. It’s mainly the developers I feel everything is like a monkeys paw. U get anything u ask for but with a twist or trick.

This game sucks !!!. After the new update, their is a bug in the game shop. After they fixed it, they start banning other players because their own mistake caused by them. This game is not worth of playing anymore. To many bugs and start banning people from their own errors. Pls dont play or download this game. Not worth for you playing this game.

Enough, smilegate.... I’m angry. The game itself is great... but the monetization model is horrendous. You promised less grind and I thought it would be great since we need SO MUCH energy just to progress a little, but you did the opposite. You made the more grindy. People keep complaining about this and you don’t even care. You want our money for summons, our money for energy and soon you will introduce costumes, let me guess... we need to buy them with money. Just reduce energy costs!! We want to play, but you make it harder and harder to enjoy the game. Enough with the greed, listen to your fan. Fix this.

Holy sh.... So I've been gaming seriously for the last 15 years, and i am blown away with the amount of innovative features, the quality and blatant effort and care put into this game. This game is better than anything EA has put out... uh ever, and its a phone game.

It was a great game until greed got the best of them. This game has amazing visuals, story, characters, and gameplay. You can tell the developers are passionate...BUT the freaking managers and directors are destroying this game by making the game harder and harder to make ANY progress. The auto repeat they added is complete trash and defeats the purpose of auto repeat; you can’t actually farm with it so what’s the point. The pet system they added is hyper p2w, if you don’t spend real money then you will have to sink all your valuable gold to get pets that aren’t even worth it. Gold is already so freaking hard to get and they decided to add another gold sink. Now the new gear conversion...omg...it takes so much investment for a LOW RNG chance to get a decent piece of equipment. You literally LOSE progress by using equipment conversion. Two +15 pieces of equipment to convert for a piece of gear that will probably end up trash? Great, more rng we have go deal with. As if we didn’t have enough. Every patch they try to fix a problem but end up making it way worse because they get greedy and want to find a way to exploit people’s wallets. When will they learn that inspiring loyalty is the best way to develop longevity for a game and bring in long-term revenue? STAY away from this game. Trust me, you don’t want to get caught up with this company. I have stopped spending money because i don’t want to support a company that has 0 respect for their players and only view them as potential exploits. I will probably quit very soon too if things dont change.

Recent updates. I’ve been playing this game for over a year now because I really enjoyed the gameplay, and character designs. I loved this game enough for me to spend money for the first time, but with the new updates I no longer want to spend money on the game unless they address these gameplay issues. 1. Pets: great idea, poor execution. Just get rid of snacks, and let them auto pick up items. 2. Currency: either lower the prices of everything, or allow us an easy way to gain gold/transmit stones. 3. Equipment conversion: One year of waiting for an alternative way to gain guaranteed good gear, and you just make it no better than crafting hunt gear. 4. Last but not least stamina: We need a full stamina refill, it’s impossible for non-whales to keep up with gear grinding when we only get a finite amount of leifs. Plus premium currency, sky stone, fills up only enough to run 4 tier 11 hunts. I’ll change my review when the devs address these issues and fix it.

Time investment for happiness is too much. The time you put into this game and the joy you receive for doing end game content/pvp is not worth it. Unless you shell out some decent cash the game is pretty bland when it comes to pve and pvp content. Yes you can build heroes which will take a long time but some heroes are just gonna be better than others and let’s face it you’re not gonna get all the heroes without spending a stupendous amount of money or just luck out time and time again because the game pity’s you for being so weak. If you were strong you wouldn’t need those heroes at all. I finished all the pve content and did pvp for awhile and unlucky for me I don’t have the meta characters and for months without them , the gap is too much when the enemies have the meta characters and have the optimal gear. While you just have gear and have to work even harder to counter thier heroes. Time investment in this game is not a good investment at all. Hunts rarely drop anything and that’s just part of the brainless grind before pets come in and auto it for you.

Such an amazing game!!. This game is too great. It’s so great that I had to write a review. This game takes everything that I love from my favorite games and rolls it into one with perfection. Coming from Chain Strike, Knights Chronicle, and Marvel Strike Force has made this game a dream come true. I never have enough energy and the summon rates are not so good but still overall rewarding. You come to a point where you wish you had better artifacts. I have too many fire heroes. Yeah but that means that means I can farm for better starting gear. I admit that this game has made me forget to sign in and collect my dailies on my other games. To summarize, download and begin playing now. The story, art, animations and voice overs have high production value. You will not be disappointed. One last thing, rerolling is built into the game and is standardized for all which give everyone a fair start. F2P friendly as well but I like the game so much that I am def. donating to the developers. Thanks guys for such a great game.

Give it a try. Don’t be intimidated by recent spikes on 1star reviews on google play and app store regarding this game. Give it a try first hand. I assure you the graphics and story are good. Characters are well fleshed out. Its a bit more generous on pulling currency and a little bit better rates compared to some other gacha, although you might want to pull casually on moonlight summon. Then again, it all depends on how are you gonna play...if you’re super competitive then you might want to think twice because of the gearing system. Current meta is bit complex, requiring some specific unit counters, but those are encountered on higher rank arena usually. So yeah, main problem with pvp is burn out out of grinding gears for the said units. On the other hand, if you’re plain chill casual and looking for something a good mobile rpg with a lot of characters then this game is for you :)

What a refreshing surprise. Coming from the gacha community, I’m am freshly surprised at the level of quality of the game. Although, taking many inspirations from other games on what works and what doesn’t, it’s awesome to say how challenging, yet, rewarding the game is when you progress through it. I love how most units are at a pretty fair power level, most 3-4 stars can preform at the same rate, if not, better than some 5 stars. The reroll system, alongside the 30 sets of summons you get allows you to have the perfect start to an account before progressing too far before realizing you could have done better. IMO if you like gacha games, especially as a F2P player, you’ll enjoy the pace of the game! And, of course, the cherry on top of it all, the characters are BABES! Yufine is my personal favorite :) Enjoy and happy farming!

Good game with few flaws. This is the second turn based based on all platforms that I have played and actually like the gameplay is fluid, animations are crisp and well designed, and the “low tier units can be upgrade and most can compete with most high tier units. They feel like people and have their own strengths and weaknesses. And the story is actually interesting. My only fault with the game is the summoning. I have so a lot of summons on different banners and I have yet to get or 5 star or even a decent 4 star out of the game. I have 2 good artifacts that came from the selective summon and I still don’t have units to put them onto. Makes me sadddddddddd. And could you implement a auto continue option on missions that you have beat like “do this quest 10 times in a row with auto heal” or “use all my stamina on this quest” the game is Grindy so I figured it would be in the game. Other then that good ducking job.

Very pretty game.... ...and fun. But holy crap, it will make you hoard for months or spend all your play money. The rates are horrible, and the only way you will FOR get the advertised characters is to draw 121 times. That’s 605 of the premium currency. To get an idea of how bad that is... You get one a day very easily, and you get about 1,000 of another currency to buy 50 a month. So you get 80, a month. Roughly. Events are common, but they cap you generally at 15 per event, and they run for weeks, up to a month. So I’ll round to 100 a month for an estimate. Again, you need 605 to get the highlight character! So you’re saving for almost six months...or, if you wanna buy them...it’ll SERIOUSLY cost you $600. That’s just messed up. Also, there’s no multi draw, so you’re doing each summon individually. It’s a very pretty game... But aside from hoarding for months or praying to RNG... It’s really a lost cause if you don’t pay for more marks. Been playing for awhile, got lucky a few times. But I’m tired of trying to save, they release a new meta character, blowing everything I have and ending up with nothing to show for it. I’m done...buyers beware of this one.

Smilegate losing touch with their player base. I have been able to reach max level and complete most of the content in epic 7. As a player who understands the currency systems and micro-transactions, smilegate continues to drive a wedge between themselves and us through various ways. The easiest most recent example to give is the fact that there is a new feature in the game that allows you to craft a very specific type of high quality armor. Awesome right? Wrong. The resources required for crafting armor average in the millions of gold. Then after it is all up to RNG I have seen so many posts on reddit of users getting flat Stat rolls on all aspects of their armor piece. It is so disheartening to see all of those resources go to waste. Epic 7 is increasingly turning into a game where the developers are becoming more and more soulless each update looking for ways to make people spend their resources ultimately making more and more people waste money on the game when they don't need to. I will be leaving the game soon if things don't change with smilegate.

Consider this title over other gachas. Alright serious review time. After countless years of playing mind numbing gacha games of all types, I can safely say that this is above subpar for a title of its type. There’s too much to be said in one sitting, like with every game, so I will keep it simple. Pros. -High ranking characters have a “fair” chance of appearing, and the game even gives you 30 rolls at the start for free heroes. -Story and characters are vibrant, yet still stick to a simplistic nature that doesn’t override your brain with complex subjects. -Voice actors, music score and composition, as well as a unique art style, all add to this game’s creativity. Cons. -Arena is riddled with constant meta teams that will easily make you tired of the same crap every time. (That’s the norm for gacha though) -Grinding for armor is exhausting with the amount of energy you waste, but that’s the main thing that makes other users characters stronger. -Events can be a mixed bag, but generally only reuse the same formula to give you the same exact reward as the previous one. Overall, this is a game that is definitely worth your time, I just wish the developers would pay more attention to our side of things, rather than their own. I know it’s hard to balance a game, but some characters haven’t been fixed since they came out and the constant lies of promising new content, then apologizing, is getting tiring. 8.5/10

Love the Game, but.... 5-Stars for sure. Love the game; however, the energy economy of the game is terrible. Stamina to run levels and grind out catalysts does not last long, and to buy “Lief” which gives you only 80 stamina/energy per item is only worth about 5 minutes of play time. The packages they sell for Lief are far too expensive, and the other ways to buy them in store with in game currency is not much better. I understand they don’t want people sitting and playing all day. But if you want to compete and get items/event characters etc within a reasonable amount of time you have to buy with real money. Other than that, probably my favorite mobile game I have ever played. Characters are well thought out and executed. The gatcha portion RNG is fair enough to get 5star characters and equipment within a fairly reasonable timeframe easily enough, and skystone(gem) economy I feel is fair to put time in and acquire without having to spend much of anything to get it.

One of the best mobile games out there. I have played 100’s of mobile games over the years and this is by far one of the best. I’ve played everyone from Genshin to clash of clans and everything in between. I have played since the global launch, I did have a period of a couple years where I g on bored and would log on but wouldn’t play a ton. I came back and realized how much stuff they have added. They are always looking to improve their game. While I think they have some issues balancing a unit sometimes that would be my biggest gripe. This game is insanely F2P friendly I would watch a guide on how to be efficient with your premium currency. They make the packs and purchases so outrageously expensive that you don’t want to spend money on the game. (They do occasionally have really good priced packs but it’s not often). While you probably will never be the top player in this game you can still be F2P and be competitive (top players can spend 100’s of thousands) Animation and character design in this game is the shining star though they have a plethora of interesting characters and when they use abilities it brings the characters to life. I would at least give the game a shot and try watching a guide if you are interested

Great game, but needs a bit more gender balance. Firstly, I want to say how beautiful this game is. The art is amazing the character designs are stunning. If I had to give constructive criticism, it would be that most of my summons are females and while the art for them is stunning it would be nice to have a good 50/50 pool of characters. It feels very skewed towards female characters as opposed to males, and while I don’t mind the beautiful figures of the female characters having a more balanced roster so I can mix and match would be great! The second criticism would be the rather low drop rates for 4 and 5 stars, particularly when trying to get copies for imprinting. Honestly, I’m not sure how to do that for the really rare characters. Otherwise beautiful game, very immersive; honestly if you put in more male characters and balanced the roster, I’d probably be more apt to throw money as I’d have a more reasonable chance at a really cool hero, haha!

❤️. I honestly will say that I really love this game its really addicting and the storyline Is great the characters are awesome when it comes to beauty, grace, power, skills, techniques, and abilities I play this game everyday when I can and I recommend to anyone who loves anime and RPG it’s amazing I would like if they add much more characters and for them to have infinite energy and more storylines for you to keep on playing but of course most definitely I rate this more then 5 stars keep on updating this great game please and thank you! I also have some minor things I would change or add which is the summoning chances, transit gold stones and making the items u can buy wayyyyy cheaper it’s to pricey and the update for the guardians to make them stronger and new guardians I been waiting for that for a long time so I hope it comes soon but in all love this game!! Ps and more free characters to get please!!

Good, but…. Alright, this game does deserve more stars than I gave it. The story, the artwork, the gameplay is all amazing in my opinion. The only issues I have is the length of time it takes to save up so many convenient tokens to summon new characters. Now I’m not typically a pay to play person, I’ll spend money here and there to draw better heroes sure. Epic Seven is one of the tougher games cause it’s so expensive to purchase any of their bundles. Example $100 for some diamonds, and 70 tokens which only gets you one draw of 10 (you need 50 tokens). Every other Gacha type game you usually need 1 token per draw, or 1 scroll etc. This game it’s 50 for 1 which they don’t really give many opportunities to earn them as far as I can tell. On top of the purchases being so expensive. Also the space for heroes is minuscule, and it’s extremely expensive to expand your storage and it only ups by 5 slots. This game has been around for a while and it could use for a revamp in some areas.

99% RNG based combat and massive power creeping.. Don’t play this game if you get annoyed at RNG and power creep. Nearly everything in this game is decided by RNG. You can plan everything out perfectly, but you can still lose if you’re trying to land a debuff and the 15% passive resist activates, which it does very often. I love pvp, but I’ve never played real time arena as depressing to play as Epic Seven rta because it’s so RNG based and not much skill involved. You can play perfectly and you may be about to win, but 5% dual attacks actually exist and it can easily take away your win. The worst part is the power creeping. Smilegate does not care at all about character balancing. They have balance patches, but literally 90% of every balance patch is a joke because only around 1-2 out of 10-12 balances actually do something for the unit. To make it worse, they just added one overpowered moonlight character after another which put all the old units in the garbage can. And moonlight characters? Unless you have a strong guild to carry in guild wars, good luck waiting 2-3 months to have enough resources to pity just one. This game belongs in the dumpster with how greedy Smilegate has become.

Dead game…. I called it about a year ago that this game and it’s horrible RNG and power creep were going to be the end of it. I dropped the game about 6 months ago and tried it out again and noticed there has only been like 3 new units released that weren’t collab units and there is zero new interesting content. The RNG is so bad you can farm for hours for gear and gold and roll nothing but low stats or stats rolling into useless stats that the piece of gear doesn’t need. Each unit released has to power creep the last and the devs have zero interest balancing the new unit or bringing up other units to counter the busted ones. I wouldn’t be surprised if they announce a server shutdown by the end of this year. There would go their “10 year plan” lol. Do yourself a favor and go play a better game from a Korean dev group like Blue Archive or even Nikke. I loved this game and used to buy the weekly and monthly resource packs but the devs being incompetent and not listening to the community’s complaints of the severe RNG has made me lost all hope for this game. You will be missed e7.

I love it however. I love playing this app it’s fun and it’s like playing an anime game but what I personally find problematic is the summoning reason 1 is how hero’s and artifacts are summoned within the same summon most of my convenant bookmarks end being artifacts so I find it very wasteful since with the amount I’ve summoned to point of making this review I could of a good amount of hero’s even if they are repeats also nearly most to all characters are gained by the said summoning. Reason 2 collaboration summoning well actually this reason is the same as reason one. I don’t now if it’s possible to have artifacts and characters summoned separately but the summoning is so far the only thing I find a problem but gameplay is fun n love it. Okay additional review or more like complaint please please FIX HOW SUMMONING WORKS! I’m not exaggerating that near 70-80% of my convenant bookmarks go to artifacts wasted crystals saved up by logins and rewards PLEASE FIX THIS!

A true nostalgia fix for me.. Feels very reminiscent of old-style JRPGs (Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, etc.) that I remember loving as a kid. The visual style is very, very heavily influence by manga/anime, but whether you enjoy that style or not it’s incredibly well executed. If you’re coming from Raid: Shadow Legends then a lot about this will feel familiar to you, although personally I like this game a lot more. And if truly feels free to play, it’s easy enough to earn free drops, energy, currency, and all the rest that you certainly don’t have to pay anything to enjoy it. I’ve spent a little money on the game, and while nothing I bought felt like a p2w moment, I didn’t feel any buyer’s remorse about it either. Long story short, if you play the game with a “take whatever drops and enjoy it” mentality, I think you’ll easily find heroes and artifacts that you can make a team uniquely your own and have a great time. Definitely would recommend this to both serious and casual enjoyers of the genre.

Epic Seven Awesome Anime RPG. The game is really good and I especially like the fact it’s in english dub voices thankfully it reminds me of Genshin Impact anime game the feeling in a new unexplored world and setting out on a new adventure in different regions and it also reminds me of Tales of Luminaria discovering what’s truth and how the world is shaped right now after a huge unsettling event happened that made the world in the game what it is now after years passed I love the cutscenes in the game watching them makes it feel like I’m watching an anime show too while playing Epic Seven I hope this game is a huge success like Genshin Impact and hopefully it’ll be able to make it way to other gaming platforms like PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox’s, PC etc I also hope that maybe in the future they’ll give us more freedom to customize our main character more in the game.

The best version of this game genre. This is a really great game! Was a day one Summoners War player that left due to the game going downhill, adding too many features, etc. you’ll find Epic 7 takes all of the good points of a gatcha game like SW and improves upon them, leaving out some of the less fun bits. Drop rates are honestly great and the meta in PVP is ever changing so even your “bad” units may get rebalanced into a meta defining unit in the future. PvE is surprisingly challenging at times, which is good. My only negatives would be the equipment and catalyst grind being incredibly tedious and RTA being essentially unplayable unless you’re spending 24 hours a day optimizing your units or have been playing for years. The average player simply can’t compete. Overall I would definitely recommend the download!

Excellent. This game is fantastic in almost every way. Characters are fun and memorable. Animation is fantastic and the story leaves you wanting more. All around in have no problems with the game play and story. My beef is with the summoning system. The only downside is that your heroes are summoned purely by chance. I don’t know if anyone else has encountered this, but I have summoned Alexa (6 times), Jena (5 times), Aither (4 times) , and 3 other characters 3 times each. While this can be a benefit in some ways, I would like to see a trade in system or something to try out other characters of the same rank or make it much higher chance to get a character you have not summoned yet. Decided to do an update to this. Many changes have been taking place in game. Whether good or bad is still up in the air. I do like the fact that the developers have started to really listen to the community on some major issues, i.e. cheating(big one), a few balance issues, and some overall gameplay elements. I would say they are doing a great job as we come into year 2 of the game. Moonlight heroes are now available in regular summons, while lowering overall chances I have gotten 2 4 star ML (Celestial M, and F Maya). Great game. Keep it up. I look forward to great new Epic adventures.

I Hope This Changes. First of I really like this game, I log in everyday and do my dailies and the art and animation of this game are top quality. I have been entirely free to play and have been able to make it to what many call mid game/early late game. I’m giving this game a low rating until the developers fix glaring problems within the game. Stamina problems and RNG are rampant in this game. Pulling units is fun but then your not even able to use them because you either do not have gear or you can move around gear due to not having enough gold because you don’t have enough energy to get more gold. The equipment system is one that it takes a week+ to find a good piece of gear and then RNG roll hoping that when you upgrade it the stats roll favorable. It’s quite bad really. Recent updates have many people in the community upset and their has been little to no communication from smilegate. I will change my rating as soon as the developers start making updates that help the community and not try and nickel and dime us out of our money.

Great game. Crashes a lot though. The game crashes when pushing the back button when clearing a stage in adventure or side story/unrecorded history. Also sometimes when switching heroes between stages, usually to meet three star requirements. However, pushing the lobby button is always successful so it's a work around, even if it takes a while. Playing on iPod touch 6th generation. All that aside, this game is great. I used to play Summoners War for hours straight, didn't think anything would tear me away from it. Epic Seven has become a part of my daily routine. Wake up, log in, do dailies, go to work, eat, come home, do event content and side story, and then just afk grind while doing other things before bed. Playing this game makes me realize what other games, like sw, lack or do wrong or inefficiently. The pet system allows you to unstick from your device while grinding for resources. The arena (pvp) matching system is balance and much more fair. The amount of pve content stretches on and on, giving lots of story to keep interest alive for longer. Powering up gear is pricey but doesn't fail +50 times to raise a level. I have lots of good to say about this game. It will always have a 5 star review from me. Just please look into the crashing issue? Would be much appreciated! Thanks, smilegate!

How is this game still getting better!?. I’ve played dozens of top rated gacha games, and try all the new ones every month. And nothing compares. I’d write you a long list of reasons that Epic7 is one of, If not, the best one there is. But honestly, it’s nearly everything. Devs, community, PvP(Real time arena and Guild wars), PvE, and constant quality of life updates. This game is gorgeous too. This being said, no, the game isn’t perfect. I constantly am limited by what I can do by the lack of energy. They have gotten better, but it’s no where near enough, the characters you get (and there are a lot) are realistically not usable without a weekly limited resource called molagora. I have so many characters that I just cannot use without guaranteeing a fail unless I heavily invest these into them. But those 2, those are the only gripes. 9.5/10

Loving this game. I had been a SW player for the past 5 years but that game in my opinion gets really overshadowed by the content in this game. There is just so much to do and the great part is that all the events and content feel rewarding, fun and engaging to play. As a F2P player I still feel like I can keep up with the other people at my level and even the game, which offers some challenging PvE content that scales well as you’re progressing. Overall this game feels like a great breath of fresh air and something I could pour a lot of time into and feel like I’ve actually got something done, unlike other games where you could spend hours farming just to get one or two usable runes or equipment. Which to me feels incredibly unsatisfying. Great game, very excited to keep playing.

The best Gacha game for free to play users. I’ve played epic seven for the past 4 years now and one thing is for sure, they are super generous with free resources (especially when compared to other gacha games). As a free to play player, once you get to mid game and beyond (which is really fast if you do it right) you can acquire every new rgb hero upon release! For free! Also, while this game does have a duplicate character system, it’s not necessary at all, and only matters to the top 1% of players, and I don’t think expecting to be in the top 1% as a f2p is realistic for any game. The amount of free skystones (main currency) and energy given out for free, amongst many other resources handed out frequently is incomparable to any other game I’ve played, and they do it simply because they care, they don’t try to nickel and dime you like other games. And as a player I really appreciate that.

Great game updated after dec 5 livestream. I really loved playing this game but recently the last couple of updates have been very questionable in design. The world boss was made to appear to be an epic battle but instead is an auto task with very low rewards. The equipment conversion update has a terrible cost to perform and can still succumb to rng. And finally the pet system was initially intended to help auto more repeatable tasks but instead comes at a cost that is difficult to farm and not worth spending resources on. I really hope this game can get back on track and if updates start improving I will definitely change my review. Updating my review to 3 stars for acknowledging the issues but will wait to update my review again to see what changes come. Updating my review to 4 stars due to the changes they made with pet snacks and other quality of life changes. Seems like they’re getting back on the right track but will wait for the changes to be implemented before I put back to 5.

I have been playing Since Day 1 and Yet.... I want this game to be successful but the past couple of months have been rough and it’s just many things like gear, gold, and terrible mechanics that have been added in for instance the pet system I was hoping it could be something to take my game time in this game to lower a bit playing this game day and out on hunts repeating for ever basically isn’t what people want to do and something has to change if this game gets worse I’ll have to drop it because it just takes too much time to progress for F2P players they are the ones struggling the most because they are being pushed to buy the terrible packs you guys got they are suffering like come on at least let your play time be a bit more rewarding and that Huche Black Friday shop is just so Disappointing to see no one is buying it because it’s a scam making us use sky stones i do truly hope this game does changes for the better and make more improvements because updates been so bad and don’t even get me started on world boss it’s such a joke for content

Fun until... It’s all fun and games until they drop your summon 1% rates below what is listed... I’ll crunch some numbers for you on my recent transactions: $50 pack for 2,850 skystones = 150x bookmarks. 5x bookmarks per summon. 30x summons = 1x 4star trash artifact, 29x trash pulls. $240 for Mystic Medal packs = 3,020 Mystic Medals. 50x MM’s per summon. 60x summons = 1x 4star trash hero + 1x 4star trash artifact, 58x trash pulls. Bonus with MM packs = 2,880x skystones = 150x bookmarks. 5x bookmarks per summon. 30x summons = 2x 4star trash heroes + 2x 4star trash artifacts, 26x trash pulls. 6x Gold Transmit Stone = 5x Galaxy Bookmark. 5x Galaxy Bookmarks per 1x summon. (It takes almost a month to acquire 6x GTS) 10x Bookmarks = 2x summons. 2x 3star trash hero pulls. (Why are 3 star heroes even in that summon?!) I got lost in the game.. but now I remember it’s a business and this company is like all the rest.. they just want your money. I was foolish enough to pay above what was due.. but never again. They don’t even have a loyalty, or VIP rank to reward me for my investment. Just poof. Don’t make the same mistakes I made. Save your money and stay F2P.

Do not play this game. I’ve played this game for over a year now and based on my experience this game is turning more and more pay to win, the characters are extremely hard to get, especially ml5s and free to play people have to work months just for a single character while whales just have every ml5 in the game. PvP is also very unbalanced, the game revolves around 15-20 meta heroes who are constantly dominating the arena, and devs don’t nerf any heroes which makes it even worse, and in the last couple of months they’ve been releasing more and more meta units which is really stupid considering there are over 200 heroes in this game and 80% of them are not used. Another thing is getting equipment, getting equipment in this game is extremely hard, especially speed since it is the most valuable stat and if you don’t have speed you will 90% of the times lose unless you have some cleanser or other hero. Overall I don’t think this game will last another couple years so don’t bother wasting your money on it.

Just, wow.. As a player immersed in the world of Epic Seven, the experience is nothing short of extraordinary. The breathtaking visuals draw you into a meticulously crafted universe, where characters aren't just pixels on a screen but individuals with stories that resonate. Navigating the strategic gameplay becomes a thrilling challenge, weaving together tactics and intellect in a way that keeps you on the edge, consistently. The anticipation of regular updates isn't just about new content; it's the promise of uncovering fresh layers to the epic saga, fostering a sense of ongoing discovery. In the player's perspective, Epic Seven is more than a game; it's a captivating journey that unfolds with each click, creating lasting memories and a genuine connection to the virtual realm it invites you to explore. It also doesn’t seem like it’s slowing down anytime soon. Get in now or you’ll regret you didn’t start sooner.

Fantastic art, glaring issues. The good: -The art, animation, and character design -The voice acting and story -Ease of obtaining good characters (as long as you save your gems, you're decently set) -Even non-SSR characters can sometimes be top tier -Fun gameplay and frequently rotating events with good rewards The bad: -Gear farming is horrendous, and gear is the #1 way you make characters strong. It's tedious, based entirely in RNG, and incredibly frustrating, sapping the fun out of the game for lots of players -Awful balancing of characters. There's not much to do in PVE, so once you clear everything, you move onto PVP, and the PVP balance is pretty bad, with the meta depending on over-tuned characters that are usually newly released (so you have to constantly pull and build characters to keep up, which can become expensive) -Devs don't listen to playerbase too often. Mostly speaking about aforementioned issue where balance changes tend to cause mass chaos in PVP and are not often rolled back or corrected per player feedback Overall, a high quality game with some glaring issues. I enjoyed playing it for a few months and then dropped it when these things annoyed me for too long. Gear farming in particular burnt me out real hard. I would say if you're cool with playing casually, give it a try. I feel bad for the amazing artists on the team though. This game has some of the best art direction I've ever seen, and there have been times I kept playing for that alone

Incredibly greedy. I’ll be posting this to my 70k followers on tic tok. Suggest taking a look at it. A real review from the average player. Not some rich kid who can afford everything. I’ve never seen worse drop rates in my life & there limited sales being $50!!!! Nothing in the shop is under $50. I’m up to 90 something pulls “ON A GROUP SUMMON!!” (Pick 3 you should get one within 50 or so pulls) And got nothing. These developers don’t care about the little guy, they want your $50 that’d you’ll spend once & delete the game. That’s a Win for them. The drop rate being this horrific is absolutely turning me off to all summon games. I’ll spend, you probably already got 2-300 out of me, maybe more but when I see the writing on the wall I take my money elsewhere where dropping $50 it’s way more appropriated. Thanks for the ride but I’d ovoid this game like a plague. You’ll never get that character & even if you did. Have fun getting them to 6* which is impossible now. Everything and I mean everything in this game cost real money or you’ll going nowhere. Been playing over a year & still can’t beat hunt 13 w/o luck. Goodbye 👋

Great game, but sometimes unfair. So I started playing all the way back in 2018, and quit playing around the beginning of 2019. But I recently started playing again. Here’s what I think: People are complaining about the fact that character building takes forever, but it really didn’t take me that long to massively upgraded and promote my characters. Just took me like 2 days to get all the element runes. But there is a couple things that I think need to be fixed. The first being the mystic summon, which honestly isn’t very good. I have never gotten a 5 or 4 star characters from it even tho the drop rate is supposed to be higher. I think that is a major problem since so many players look forward to using their once a month mystic summon, only to be disappointed. As a guild leader I’m slightly mad at how unfair the guild wars are, my guild keeps getting matched with guilds that have 5 times the number of people. I am forced to fight guild leaders that have level 60 characters, which I always end up losing. I think the game should be more mindful of guild leader levels and members. But aside from those things, the game is Gucci. Cause I was able to stay up till 3 am playing it. If you like top tier waifus and husbandos then this is the game for you.

Don’t Believe Recent 1-Star Reviews. This game is fantastic and has some of the most responsive developers I’ve seen. They take feedback from the community and incorporate it into the game regularly. In addition the graphics, gameplay, are top notch. It’s a gacha game at its core, though, so in terms of summon rates YMMV. The recent 1-star reviews are a result of “review bombing” done by players upset with the game. Why? Because while the E7 community has tons of great people it also has some of the most whiny, self-entitled, brats of any gaming community I’ve run into. The type of kids who left the playground in a huff when the other kids wouldn’t follow their rules of the game. They’d rather cut off their nose to spite their face and leave negative reviews to “force” the developers to listen. The game is free, gives you a tun of currency and content without paying a dime, so give it a try.

Good game, not so good drop rates... Epic Seven is a good game. Nice animations, stable storylines, and likable characters. I just don't like how on the normal Covenant Summonings the drop rate is 46 (Heros) to 53 (Artifacts). I understand it'll try not to allow players to have OP characters in the beginning but don't make it so difficult to get even a 3 star or 4 star and it's the same on drop rate increases. And the odds are the same, 46 to 54 and out of those chances you have a 0.8 chance of getting that character. But guaranteed summonings are a good idea but poorly put. 120 covenant bookmarks to get Luna? And we have a week? I bought the Covenant bundle and I was nowhere near getting her and to buy just 90 Skystone is 2.99. That's a bit expensive for just 90. Maybe 200 but not 90... All and all, they should fix their drop rate to make it some what balanced on Covenant Summings so not every single time I get an artifact that I have 100 of and it doesn't depress unlucky or unmotivated players. Also adjust the Skystone prices..

Came back rather unimpressed. Stopped playing for about a year to see not much has changed for the better since I last played… pvp is a mess, units released are either busted or a bust, and nothing in the way of interesting content. The gear grind is still hot garbage, so I’m not really invested in getting back into that again. The option to farm in the background is nice, but again still garbage since I spend all my energy and leafs to get nothing anyways. If you’re looking to pick up this game as a new player, it’ll be really fun at first. The game can be quite generous and with the great ost, story, and animations it hooks players really well. I’m personally staying just to finish the campaign, and coming back once they finish episode 5. Playing to reach pvp (i’m talking about rta and to an extent arena), however, is terrible unless you want to become an omega whaler. It’s sad to see what e7 has become since I originally started, but honestly i was kinda expecting it. f power creep and grinding and hunting for ml’s

To whoever made the abyss floors after 100 solely based on rng…. I despise you with every inch of my being. Why do I need to rely solely on rng in order to beat an abyss floor? It should have just been like the story boss fights, and not reliant on hitting a boss this many times before they use their S3 or whatever the gimmick is. Past floor 100 is solely based on rng, and if you don’t have the fight gear or units, you’re basically screwed. Why couldn’t the fights just be like the story ones, just cranked up the difficulty? No gimmicks, no reliance on rng, just a boss with a crap of ton of health, ads, and skills that are easy to understand and maneuver around. The bosses on the abyss floor are a joke, and this is why people stop after a certain number of attempts, because the rewards are lackluster when you compare them to the time and resources it takes to complete them. Even with the “nerfs” that were implemented in the recent update, they’re still too reliant on rng. It’s really annoying. Please don’t make the floors reliant on luck, it ruins the experience for the players.

1 year later.... I have a history of picking up a gacha game, playing it for a couple weeks, then dropping it. Epic seven has been the only gacha game that has kept my attention time and time again. While the combat system might not be everyone’s favorite, and the limited banners can be frustrating to pull for (Had to spend 20 just to get Ervalen on pity) the amount of choice of units, gameplay loop, and commitment from smilegate to putting out new content more than make up for it. I have multiple “meta” units by now in my roster, and my main farmer is still a maxed 3 star unit with decent gear. Even though this is still a gacha, and the people who spend the most will be the ones leading in PVP, the amount of content they put out on a regular basis will give you all the entertainment you need and the currency system will rarely make you feel the need to spend, trust me :)

Best Anime game I’ve been waiting for. For a long time I’ve been receiving ads for different anime games. This has been the game I’ve been waiting for. A compelling story, beautiful graphics and not pay to win. I absolutely love the story! It’s paced perfectly and is extremely interesting. Even the music is perfect! Of all the different anime style games I’ve played, not one comes even ten percent close to this one. The story has completely captivated me in playing for hours on end. Not since when clash of clans first came out has a game made me play for hours with out a break. I wish more game makers spent more time in making their story as captivating as this has. When I get to the point where money might give me an advantage, I’ll gladly give in to helping this amazing game achieve even greater things. Thank you for making this. I’ve been waiting years for something like this to come around.

The way the game is now I just can’t recommend it to people. It’s sad when a game with so much potential and a dev team that wants to do good work is run by higher ups that only wish to make money and frustrate their player base. We asked for an auto battle feature and got a convoluted pet system with a gold sink attached to it with auto battle tied to a currency, we asked for easier ways to get gear because of how many obstacles of RNG there are to even hoping for good gear and we got another RNG system that maybe will get you the gear you want at a slightly higher rate and finally we have been waiting for fun and engaging content and we were met with the summoners war world boss cut scene. This is stuff they promised us they would work hard to do over their year plan and it has been very underwhelming. Oh by the way, on top of that world boss gives you almost nothing in terms of rewards even if you SSS rank it. Have fun opening 6k gold in 7-8 different boxes. It costs 100k to unequip lol. I don’t know as the way the developers are forced to do things and the way the state of the game is now I can’t recommend this to friends it just isn’t fun to get to end game. Signed A tired player with fading hope

Support is non-existent.. Beware before you dedicate any amount of time or money to this game, because if anything happens to your account, you’ll be emailed a generic response saying that they can’t help. I’ve played this game for months, on two separate accounts. The first time my account got deleted, I dealt with it because it was MY fault that I never got it connected to an account. Things happen. But on my second attempt, after losing months, I was able to get to the mid game. I put hundreds into this game thinking that they care with all of these updates, but then my account disappeared in my sleep. My guild mates and friends could still see my account, the one that I just purchased hundreds worth of in-game packages, but once I reached out to support, I was immediately pushed away. This has happened to other people, and I’ve received the same generic response that all of them have. The game is lovely, and I really had fun with the grind. But I can’t help stick to a community where the devs only care about profit and nothing about the player base. I dealt with their ridiculously overpriced deals because it’s our choice to buy it, it’s not required to advance; you can still enjoy the game without being a whale. But that’s it, thats where the line ends. No profit, no motive. My advice to whoever else wants to start this game, just be careful. If anything happens to your account, tough luck. Goodbye Epic Seven, it was fun. Thanks.

Lives up to it’s name. It’s got great character designs and graphics, each characters ultimate has a beautiful animation to it, the voice acting is pretty good, plenty of ways to mix and match characters to make fun useful teams and even a humble three star can be a worthy six star if paired up with the right friends. Gameplay is fun and challenging, crafting system is straight forward as are character and item upgrade systems, you aren’t constantly bombarded by ads, the story makes you want to keep going and the events offer you a chance to know more about some of your favorite heroes. And with the new skins you can dress up some of your favorites in cute ways, So where does the game fall short? First off grinding catalysts for skills can be a bit of a chore at times and the limited rate you can get molagora (an item almost every single character needs for their skills) will be something that has you making tough decisions on who you want to upgrade as you collect more wonderful characters. Secondly I will admit the rate for five stars from summoning can hurt, especially for limited characters and relics, but on the other hand it makes it that more special when you do get one. But honestly beyond that, it’s a solid game that is well worth trying.

Me dropping out and coming back and regretting dropping out. After I played it for some months I felted bored having to grind everyday and play story mode I dropped out just when guilty gear collaboration with epic seven my friend showed me that he got dizzy and I got jealous and wanted to come back and try to pull her but remembering that I deleted the game I felted lazy and didn’t get it then after two months I saw a lot of new hero’s and waifus got released cuz my friend showed me and I just wanted them really bad but I still don’t want to play because I think it was a waste of time but jealousie got to me and I downloaded the game and grinded even in class just to catch up but i couldn’t do much because I was very far behind and missed all the special events that happened during times and regretted dropping out on the game and today I can finally auto wyvern 11

Fantastic Game; Bad Update. Really love this game and play it non stop. Excellent animation and character design and some unique mechanics with lots of challenges for new players. Veterans will find there isn't much to do though. Newest "world boss" update isn't a boss at all but basically a small handful of mediocre rewards for having a large and varied roster of geared characters that you just plug into a quasi-raid squad for the gear check. Takes 30 seconds and you can only do it twice a day. This could easily be a 5 star game if the developers would listen to their players and roll out interesting, new content and improve the gear system. Lots of stuff in place, such as more raid bosses, more abyss floors, etc that keeps getting put off for reasons unknown. Enjoy starting the game! Won't be much at the end.

Quite happy with the experience.. Out of all the gacha games I’ve played this one seems the most fair. Game has fantastic art and good combat and the game even makes it so you can upgrade lower rarity heroes to compete with the 5 star heroes in the specialty change system. The game gives you plenty of opportunities to get ahead and you only really start to feel the grind after the first story is finished. At that point progress is slowed but honestly it feels like just how normal rpgs would feel by that time anyway. I was free to play and had no issues with feeling disadvantaged except in pvp once I got to silver rank but it is all equipment based which can’t be bought anyway. Those guys have just grinded more than me. I used the cash shop once and gave smile gate 30 bucks because I think they deserve it. I hope they continue to improve the game and listen to their players.

Potential probably. The game is good as for design it’s nice touch even the voice acting is quite amazing there is a lot to love from it but also something to be informed before playing but even times it does get too repetitive with the tutorials every time you unlock something new it’s does slow your time a bit but I mean most of us already know how and what a game is as well as understanding the purpose of a mobile game concept from stats to game mechanics and story progression, I do enjoy the game but the tutorial does appear so much. As for it’s music it’s pretty good and not to many variety in soundtrack you will notice some sounds here again but the visual do make some unique gameplay style for a quick and fun play through. As for any other details it’s good game for the most part you’ll probably will be playing this game for quite a while from the main aspects of grinding and progressing through the story for a unique story adventure.

Beautiful but very flawed PvP-oriented game. Don’t even know where to start but this game is honestly one of the better gacha games on the market. Beautiful drawn graphics, fairly decent main story, ability to automate content versus doing it manually (which becomes important later on) and decent enough on the gambling side. The devs are also generous with providing characters and resources for people to progress moreso than other games (especially Genshin). However, this game has shifted focus from a PvE (i.e single player) experience to PvP-centric. This means that you WILL at some point need to do competitive play with and against other people to get valuable resources to stay afloat (mystics and skystones). Herein lies the current problem with the game: the current state of PvP is abysmal enough to the point where it’s getting review bombed as detailed in other reviews, and in a game where PvP matters? Yeah that’s a problem. If you’re interested in a fairly enjoyable singleplayer experience then you could get it here.

Great game, great animations, a few caveats. I’ve heard about this game for quite some time, but I’ve only ever tried it recently and it does not disappoint. There is a decent story, great artwork and animations, and I do have a soft spot for turn-based RPG’s. You do accumulate a lot of Bookmarks (summoning currency) and Crystals (premium currency) when you start out, but those quickly dry up, and the guaranteed 5* drop threshold is pretty ridiculous. With summoning being the only means of acquiring decent units, and with so many different kinds of “summoning currency” (like 4 different kinds) not even including the other 5-8 other kinds of currency you’ll encounter in the game, collecting good units will be overwhelming to the casual player. It smells more and more “pay-to-win/speed up” as you go into endgame content like PVP and Boss Raids, even Events involving resource collection have boosters you can only get from summoning. This is why it is not a 5 star game. Very promising and fun if you are willing to put a lot of time and not tempted to use your wallet.

Stingy. While I enjoyed the combat, some of the story and character animations, the game is stingy. Obtaining 5 star units are nigh on impossible because the rates are criminally low. In all my hours spent I only managed to pull 3 kind of decent 5 star heroes and countless weak 3 and 4 star heroes out of the thousand of skystones earned trying to get a foothold in the game. On top of trying to earn decent characters half the time you’ll get excited when the book’s page turns gold and turns out you pulled another artifact. I’m not asking for free or easy pulls for top tier units just make it simple to pull for things we want either summon for heroes or artifacts. Dragalia HAD the same issue with heroes and wrymprints in the same summoning pools but thankfully removed wyrmprints from summons. Flooding the summoning pool with arbitrary things is annoying and stopped me from even bothering to continue. Saving 950 skystones each time hoping for something good but it never does. I’m not going to spend money when half the summoning pools are filled with garbage. It can’t anymore. I’ll stick with FEH, KOF All-Stars and Dragalia.

Still The Best. I have been playing Epic Seven off and on since it released. I have yet to find another game that has this much going for it. A huge roster, you’ll never collect everyone. Great PVE and PVP. Balanced combat. A ton of content. Free to play folks can be competitive as they hand out a ton of free premium currency that can also be farmed in game. Once you have a character getting duplicates isn’t required to progress their star rating. You may see complaints about drop rates but I would ignore this for the reasons stated previously. When you get an awesome character it’s simply a much better feeling knowing that not everyone has them. Furthermore the drop rates are on par with other games of this genre (1% 5*). Finally, the dev keeps adding new characters, missions, features, etc. You will always feel rewarded for playing. I highly recommend Epic Seven.
