Excellent!. A great Sonic game with a nice blend of boost, Advance, and Adventure-reminiscent mechanics! It feels odd that there is a boost currency and rings, but I can understand the game design behind it. I wish Shadow and Silver were in the game, but I am also just grateful to play more than just Sonic. I wish the story and level design were a bit less whimsical, leaning more towards Sonic Frontiers or Adventure, but it makes up for it in gameplay. The voice acting, sound design, and technical fidelity is excellent. A great game all around!

Another excellent entry to cap off a great year for Sonic. Sega Hardlight has made a lot of mobile games for Sonic and it’s nice they got the funding to make something like this. This game has a lot of you want from Sonic: multiple playable characters, good voice acting (with exceptions like Cream & Rouge), animated cutscenes, and of course high speed solid platforming with multiple paths. You can replay stages to get a lot of playtime out of this. It’s a simple fun game and a nice surprise to an already big year for Sonic. I hope Hardlight makes more entries like this. As core Sonic fan that came in with Heroes and enjoyed Frontiers, I’m hoping those who enjoy this game try some other Sonic games as well

This game is incredible. My mind was truly blown with this game. These guys knocked it out of the park with this one and apple did too, getting onto arcade, what an amazing gift! This game is really incredible and far defies expectations. I am playing on a new ipad, and the graphics here are truly astounding. Like they are getting about as good next gen consoles, and it is just so amazing to see. I am always trying to find a good game on mobile, and this one is definitely a great one. I wish it could go on forever! :)

A truly great Sonic game hidden on Phones. Sonic Dream Team is a delightful game to play that simplifies Sonic’s 3D movement for phones in a very fun and cohesive way, and when played with a bluetooth controller shows its strength as a potential console game if increased in length and ported to more advanced systems. Of course as is tradition with Sonic handheld games that release alongside their console counterparts, Dream Team is built off great use of limitations that perhaps more modern games should wish they had. Worth having Apple Arcade for this game alone.

Change the game completely. Add a Dream Chao that lets you move something I made up called Prankster Dreams that have the same gimmick as the Prankster Comets in Super Mario Galaxy. It eats something I made up called Dream Rings and if you feed it a specific amount, it’ll move the Prankster Dream. These are the 4 Prankster Dreams I came up with: Copy Dream, Time Dream, Weak Dream, and Blue Dream. The Copy Dream lets you battle a purple copy of yourself, and depending on the character, it’ll have a different ability. Time Dreams give you a time limit to get to the Dream Portal while collecting Time Rings. Weak Dreams give you 1 hit and fall until you die . Blue Dreams make you collect Blue Rings with the character selection in the map. The Dream Chao can be found in the hub world that a few people have suggested. If you accept it, then thank you!

Pretty good game. I love sonic, and a mobile game That looks really good. I love the fact that you can play as many characters in the game, however there is some things that I think should change, or in my opinion should be in the game.1: when your playing the game there are some levels that make you reach to area. Sometimes it’s hard for me to find where to go.2: (spoiler alert) I would LOVE if this game had SUPER SONIC. I don’t know if it will change in the future though it would be cool if we had it. Overall I LOVE this game. You should try it.

This is what a Sonic game should be. I must say I was hyped to play this game, starting with the bright brilliant theme of the trailer, then to see the gameplay, as well as it looks excites me for this franchise. Even though this is a mobile game, this should be the staple for future Sonic games they put on the larger consoles alongside Frontiers. It has it all, the music, story, animations, good pace and flow, replay value, graphics, and character selection. Hoping this game expands in future updates Im here for it!

Great! However-. I had a great time with this game, but it has a couple drawbacks. I don’t know if this is still a problem, but it crashed sometimes, and can cause overheating because the graphics quality maximum is always at 4K regardless of screen resolution and some people may turn it to max and damage their phone. Cream and Rouge I know for a fact can do their voices better, it’s the same VAs from generations after all. They need better direction. The controls are near perfect, all I would change in that regard is to add a stomp on B/Circle and remap the light speed dash to the Y/Triangle button. I understand there are leaderboards so giving people with controllers an edge is unfair, but you can easily implement this into the touchscreen. Just keep the light speed dash mapped to the same touch button and add a smaller stomp button in between the two others, or move them around and put the stomp in the very bottom right. A stomp that does a bounce attack if held down til hitting the ground would be preferential. Some fangames do this and it works wonders for momentum based platforming and the boost formula, which this game seems to be a hybrid of. Also if we do get a console/PC port, I’d actually say we -need- these control additions.

FANTASTIC. I really didn’t think I’d say this, but the best Sonic game I’ve played since Unleashed really is a mobile game. The graphics are great (especially with the vibrant colors throughout contributing to that “dream” theme), level design is open and fun to run through, the controls are responsive and fun (not awkward at all like you may fear, but it might be on a smaller iphone) and it’s overall a really complete package. I’m surprised they managed to make a traditional sonic game work on iphone but it really boils down to the dense level design, short and snappy challenges (with multiple characters and plenty of collectables adding a LOT of replayability) and again, tight controls. Sonic Dream Team is a must play for Apple Arcade owners, even if you don’t normally like sonic games.

Top tier Sonic game. Most of the mobile exclusive Sonic games out were good… for mobile games. Sonic Dream Team, however, is a good Sonic game period. One of the better ones even compared to the console ones. It’s such an amazing blend of boost gameplay and Adventure gameplay, and despite only having two buttons, I never felt limited like I did in more recent console Sonic games. Levels are short but satisfying, and the flow of each level encourages me to keep playing and get better at them. They’re easy enough for most people to get through, but you can really shave off a lot of time once you get the hang of the characters. This is so well designed that if I didn’t have an iOS device already, I’d buy one for this. It might just be my favorite Sonic game out right now.

SOOOO GOOD. I have been a Sonic fan ever since I was about 4-6 and I still am. I loved frontiers even with its flaws but update 3 fixed the ending with the boss fight, new cyber form ( I like today super Sonic 2) and the characters with that patch after the update 3. Thank yo Sonic team as this was another hit. May not be one of my favorite games of all time like ToTK, Sonic frontiers, or Super Smash Brothers Ultimate but it’s certainly up there. Again thank you Sonic team as you have treated my favorite video game character or even fictional character right. Gotta go fast. 💨

I love Sonic This Is hands Down 10/10. For a sonic mobile game it is what I wanted sure it can be buggy some times and have frame dips but the overall feel to sonic running feels great also playing the other characters are great to play as I am very surprised only got arcade for this I’m at 30/36 achievements I’m still debating if I want to 100% and get the blue coins haha overall I say all sonic fans it is a must play

I love it! Although, there are literally minimal things I would change…. After playing Sonic Frontiers (not to compare a console level game with a mobile level game), there are a lot of features and settings I would’ve liked for the developers to include in this game. Maybe like, for example, camera distance. I like feeling close to the characters while I’m playing and makes it more immersive, in my opinion. In the future, it would also be cool if the boost gauge wouldn’t drain so fast. If it would last longer and would depend less on the little lightning bolts it would be awesome. Also, in-game controller assignments, cause’ why not. Sometimes, I want the Homing attack to be in a different button than the boost button, and I can’t do that on the Gaming Controller settings on the iOS Settings app. Overall, this is a really good game for being a mobile game. In fact, I would say this the best Sonic game here on App Store. The mobile gaming industry is evolving and growing constantly so I’m very happy for this release and I hope SEGA keeps launching outstanding games like this one, here on iOS!

Genuinely Impressive. I've been a pretty big sonic fan for my entire life. This game is honestly really good, the voice acting, animation, controls, soundtrack and gameplay are all phenomenal for a mobile game. These stages feel more alive and vibrant than cyber space did in sonic frontiers, although i have to say the plot and environments are eerily similar to cyber space. That's not necessarily a bad thing, and i dont expect much more out of a mobile game anyways, but i can't wait for sega to have stages that are as full of life and energy as the adventure games again. The controls are really fluid in Dream Team, and I love that there's actual momentum so it feels like real physics are at play and when I make a mistake it's my fault not the game's. Being able to play three different play styles is great, although hopefully in the future they can flesh out the characters a little more to make each one more unique. Overall, awesome work Sega Hardlight! I hope more people get the chance to experience this game at some point!

Saga is making progress. Sonic dream team has good plot to where it makes sense but is also has the same feeling of frontiers since your freeing Sonic’s friends but the new level designs are well made and it’s not the same green hill zone you would expect but more like a goofy level but more strategic and the way it’s like a open 3d game in a mobile game with good to awesome graphics and collectibles to where you would want to play the same level again and try to do that main objective to get it and even the animation of this game is good too even tho it’s not show off too much it’s still a good touch I would like to say that this is a good game and has been a good start of the mobile gaming experience of a 3d sonic game and that’s why I rate it 5 stars

Good Sonic Platforming Fun. After the release of Sonic Superstars and Frontiers’ final update, I was pretty shocked to get a new Sonic game so soon. While I do have a few nit picks to get into, I think this game is pretty good. If you come into this game expecting a full console game, it is a bit short in that regard, but it feels more like a fun experience while they work on their next game. The gameplay itself feels somewhat of a mix between Super Mario 3D World and Sonic Heroes. The levels feel fun to run through, and being able to switch characters mid-stage opens up many paths towards the goal. Each act has multiple dream orb challenges, where you go through part of the stage with some extra challenge. The controller support is very welcome, although I do wish there was custom button mapping. Being able to change things like the boost or jump buttons would be great, and currently all of the shoulder buttons are unused. Another small thing that would be nice is being able to swap to specific characters using said unused buttons, like setting L to change to Tails of R to change to Knuckles. But overall, the game is fun. I’d recommend it to anyone who both has Apple Arcade and is a fan of platformers. Looking forward to whatever’s next in store for Sonic.

Greatest mobile Sonic game!. Sonic’s run on mobile games have always been a little iffy: they’ve all been weird oddballs like Sonic Jump, or were just too simple to capture my attention like Dash. The only mobile Sonic that I enjoyed was Runners, which shut down years ago. Didn’t think there’d be a good mobile Sonic as that again, but I was pleasantly surprised with Dream Team! The game feels like a miniature skate park with several ways to get around. In a way it’s like a smaller take on the Sonic Adventure games from back then, with a combination of the colorful environments, cast of characters, and cute and compact story of the handheld Sonic Advance games, a nostalgia trend that the Sonic series has been doing as of late. The controls are a little slippery, but the open areas are built for it. The music’s definitely one of the weaker OSTs in the series as well. But aside from that, I’ve had a lot of fun with this one. Hardlight did an outstanding job with their own 3D Sonic platformer!

OMG. Just like my old Sega Genesis! With extra’s! Thank’s a million Capcom. I only wish the fake apple developers in the store didn’t harrass me for more money and more subscriptions so the can feed their young lol! I must have been frauds at least since 2014 when I got my iPhone 6. They broke that thing in half. My iPhone 14 Pro Max is holding up though. Yet I’m positive that my Appartment has been broken into to hide their ip address. Also they all live in the apartments. Yup I’m surrounded and am scared for my girlfriend and my life. I wish the cyber crime department could have helped me before they use a fake IRS bill and puked up all over my BofA account that was shut dow 3 times since I’ve moved here!

Sonic Dream Team is a wonderful Adventure!. Sonic Dream Team harkens back to everything that has made 3D Sonic games work so well in the past, while infusing it with some of the better additions made over the many years we've had with the Blue Blur. Gameplay is smooth, controls are fantastic even on touchscreens, and the overall experience brings me back to the time I've spent with games like Sonic Adventure. This is a modern fusion of the classic 3D era, and the more modern incarnation of Sonic, and it just works so, so well.

gaming goodness at long, long last!. This is exactly the kind of title I've been craving on my iPad! Creatively designed sandbox levels that leverage characters' unique abilities with branching paths and surprisingly manageable controls for touchscreen (even better with controller, I'm sure) make for gaming goodness, especially with voice acting. No timers, no ads, no IAP/micro-currencies, no hard fail-states, nothing to drag down the experience. Designed for replayablity with unlocks that are not too difficult. Please, Apple, MORE OF THIS TYPE OF GAME!💓

Awesome other than no iCloud Save Data Syncs. Game is awesome. Never thought I would get back into 3D Sonic with a mobile game but this is more console like than a mobile game. Only major complaint is that iCloud save data either is not setup to sync between devices or does not work. Want to play this on my iPhone on the go and Apple TV at home but even logged into my same user on Apple TV it creates a new save file. Would love to play on the Apple TV but not going to restart my game progress all over again. Would give 5 stars if this was fixed, and clearly listed in release notes as fixed.

Fantastic Sonic game held back by mobile constraints.. There’s a lot of fun in this Sonic game. Probably the most fun I’ve had with a 3D Sonic game. I think where this game suffers the most is being constrained to a mobile game. That said, they manage to do a great job despite that limitation. I wish there was a little more content, but it serves up a nice bite-sized portion that is enjoyable the whole way through. I did encounter a glitch where the game decided to stop awarding me trophies despite completing the objectives.

Great and truly beautiful game, but my save data got deleted!. Basically, I was chugging my way along, and I had already gotten to the final boss. But for some reason, the game decided to crash, so I restarted my Apple TV, and wouldn’t you know it, my save data got nuked! So… gonna have to drop it down to 4 stars… but other than that… it is an AMAZING game! A few nitpicks here and there, like Cream’s jumpball not having her ears, and no stomp/airboost. But all in all… this is one of the most beautiful mobile games I’ve ever played. Can’t wait for the port!

Great Sonic Game. The formula for this game is one of the best I've played for any sonic game. This is exactly how I feel the different characters should play - with open stages and alternate pathways that only certain characters can access. Great environments and physics. Playing with a controller on mac is an immaculate experience, so I hope that this game or a future game like it can end up on other consoles so more people can experience that. I do wish there was a bit more initiative for exploring and collecting the blue coins and red rings besides trophies. Being able to add to character design would be a good start.

Absolutely amazing Sonic game. I was so surprised by how amazing this game is. Typically with sonic games nowadays, there’s so much negatives that gets in the way and ruins the whole experience, but Sonic Dream Team somehow manages to beat most console sonic games in terms of quality. It’s SUPER fun, and controls like a DREAM. The story is genuinely interesting, the aesthetics are super creative and a joy to look at, and all the characters are so fun to play as. Especially Cream! I think they nailed it with this game. Really hope they make more sonic games like this one! My only complaints with the game is I wish each character had an additional action button, like Amy swinging her hammer, or Cream sending Cheese at enemies. Also, I don’t like how you can’t climb any wall you want as knuckles and rouge, and are limited to “climb me” walls, and gliding as knuckles and rouge has a downward slope that ruins the fun and I’d prefer if they controlled like Sonic Adventure 2.

I LOVE THIS!!!! (But one problem.). Ok, Don’t get me wrong this game is amazing, but the one reason I’m not rating it 5 stars is because it is Apple Arcade exclusive, so for the people that can’t get Apple Arcade and want to play this, their out of luck. I had to pay 8.00$ a month JUST TO PLAY THIS!!! But this game is very good SEGA you did good, you did good SEGA. This is fun but please let other people play this. But if you can’t, I’m fine with that. I just think it would be a lot better for people that can’t play this.

Excellent Game. Excellent game. Fast paced. Great graphics. Runs well on M1 MacBook Air. Works well with Switch Pro Controller but like other titles I have tested, does not currently support game controller haptics/vibration. Another issue I have found is that if you install the game on another device like and iPhone, it will erase your current progress and revert you back to the start. I had to find the game's data folder and restore it from a Time Machine backup in order to to restore my progress. I look forward to Apple and Sega offering this title for perpetual purchase on the Mac App Store in the near future.

bets mobile game without a doubt!!. I was a little skeptikal when I initially saw that this game was only going ot be for Apple Arcade, but it really surprised me. the level design is some of the best we've seen from the franchise in years, it controls surprisingly well on a controller, and while there are'nt many aninated cutscenes, the ones we do get in here have some of the best animation in the entire franchise. This game is practically everything I could ask for out of a sonic game and I hope it comes to other platforms

Really fun, but needs work. Interesting level design, and good use of speed for platforming. My main issues are the controls feel inconsistent. Often the homing attack locks on to random objects that are off screen. Which, secondly, homing attack sharing a button with either boost or jump isn’t ideal. For controllers the option to bind each action to their own button would make gameplay much smoother. Especially for characters like cream/tails and knuckles/rouge since their second action can be overridden by homing attack when that isn’t wanted. In general more controller options would be appreciated, like moving camera reset to a bumper.

Super Addicting Game. Update: Dream Team comes close to what I’d want for a dream Sonic game. Adding characters like Silver, Espio, and Blaze along with new worlds and story would improve this delightful game even further. I did encounter a glitch that has yet to be resolved. I have all red star rings and dream orbs but some of my trophies have not unlocked. From what I can tell from other reviews, the company is aware of this glitch, but hasn’t fixed it yet.

Sonic Dream Team is the Best Sonic Game of 2023!. In 2023, we got three Sonic titles. Sonic Frontiers: The Final Horizon, Sonic Origins Plus, and Sonic Superstars. The thing is, those games aren’t nearly as impressive as Sonic Dream Team. I’ll tell you, that’s a problem for Sega at most. I mean these three games were made on some of the best consoles to this day, but they still aren’t as close to being as good. Come on Sega, if you want a good company, you need to make good games. Besides that garbage, let’s talk about Sonic Dream Team. In this game, Sonic and his friends will take on a new adventure with a variety of levels, over 100. There is also new collectibles that can be found when playing, like the Red Star Rings, the New Blue Tokens, and the Dream Orbs. When collected, you’ll be able to unlock new unlock-able statues. Some are gold, some move, it’s such a shame they never had that in any other Sonic Game. Watch out though, Dr Egg-man is still on his new mission of taking over the Reverie, the power to control dreams. Which is where this game takes place. You’ll be able to fight Egg-mans new robots with not only Sonic, but Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, and Rouge. Each character has they’re own special abilities. Tails and Cream can fly, Knuckles and Rouge can climb walls, and Sonic and Amy can run super fast. I’m gonna save the rest for you now, go check out Sonic Dream Team and it’s exciting new Adventures, Enjoy!

Love the game but it has its problems….. This game is amazing in almost every aspect possible. The graphics are nice, animation is smooth, and controls are not too bad. The story is nice, polished and easy to follow. But it has a few flaws. First of all it might be me and my love for sonic since sonic adventure 2 but I feel like rogue’s voice doesn't match her character at all and it makes me want to cringe. Second the homing attack range is WAY too long it makes gameplay feel overpowered. Otherwise everything else is amazing. Love how I can play it offline. Best sonic mobile game since sonic dash.

Sonic Dream Team Reveiw. This game was way more fun than it had the right to be. I am one of the very lucky Sonic fans to have owned an apple device. And while it does have a few problems that slightly hold it back such as the “power type” characters having a glide that dips down a little too much, the steering when flying or gliding (The flight speed also deserves an honorable mention), I think it was a fun experience and a unique way to bring back the boost formula. I also missed Cream and Cheese.

Probably the best 3D Sonic games in years!. I’m a longtime fan of the series and have been waiting for the day Sega would figure out how to make the boosting game mechanic actually accessible and easy to use. That day has come. The levels are designed with boosting in mind and are cleverly balanced allowing players to run at high speeds as well as take time to explore. I’d say the only complaint I do have is the length of the game, but that might just be me being greedy. Great work Sega. Now rinse and repeat.

A dream come true (no pun intended). Not to sound like a curmudgeonly old fart, but sometimes I long for the App Store’s early days. Back when companies made fun, mobile-tailored experiences where the enjoyment factor wasn’t limited by aggressive in-app purchases and shamelessly piggybacking off of other people’s ideas. Then along comes a little gem like this—an Apple Arcade Sonic game of all things—to reignite a joyous spark that once seemed long lost. It controls like a dream (again, no pun intended), the graphics are gorgeous and for all you Hedgeheads out there it feels like all the best parts of the Adventure duology and Lost World combined. All of it just feels RIGHT. And you’re telling me this is from the same team that made SONIC DASH?!?!? Thanks SEGA HARDlight. I think I love mobile games again.

A surprisingly great Sonic experience!. If you have a history with Sonic games and are hesitant in any way about giving this a go, please try it!!! You need a controller first and foremost. And, it takes about an hour to get used to the more “snappy” simplified mobile controls/game design. But once you get past these growing pains, this game has quite a bit to offer! I had a fantastic time 100%ing this in about 7 hrs. The entire time I was playing, the phrase “I cannot believe this is running on my iPad” kept running through my head! Good job guys!! This is honestly one of the better Sonic games I’ve played in recent years. (Let’s be honest the bar was pretty low though lol) Devs please note: I’m 99% sure I got all of the red rings. Despite this, none of the red ring related in game trophies have been awarded to me. It’s a minor complaint, but I haven’t seen anyone else mention this, so I felt the need.

Great game with a lot of content. I’m very much enjoying this on my older iPad Pro, it’s got great controller support, lots of challenges to keep you playing, and 3D Sonic at its best in years. However my save file doesn’t sync up on my iPhone 15 pro, all my other games automatically sync up save files when I move between devices, what gives? It looks and runs like a dream (pun not intended) on iPhone 15 pro but I want my save files to sync please!

Sonic Dream Team Review. Sonic dream team is not what the people expected but it’s something fresh out of the grass, more playable characters, AMAZING music and a good story! Something’s I would change about this game is the level design, it’s a little weird sometimes, especially since you have to switch characters just to reach places, levels should be suitable for all the characters to complete, also the gameplay in this game is a bit slippery, I’m not saying it’s bad..it just needs more sturdiness to it, otherwise the game is awesome and I give it a 10/10, Good game SEGA! ~ Sincerely 𝓔𝓼𝓪𝓲𝓪𝓼 𝓢𝓺𝓾𝓲𝓻𝓮𝓼

Hardlight has really impressed me.. Yeah, yeah. I know this game’s an Apple Arcade exclusive, but I still had fun with this. I can really see the Adventure influence in the gameplay. Playing as and switching between 6 characters was pretty neat, even if there are only 3 gameplay styles. It definitely makes exploring these new zones all the more interesting. The game also controls really well. The story’s also really cute. Ian Flynn continues to shine when it comes to writing these characters with the utmost respect. Dan Rossati did great too. (Though for a Sonic game about dreams, I’m surprised not much from Sonic Shuffle was mentioned. Bit of a missed opportunity.) Voice acting’s great for most of the characters. I think Cream and (especially) Rouge’s voices sound kinda off. The music’s fine, but not the strongest in the franchise. Overall, while I personally enjoy Sonic Frontiers more, this game was an excellent way to end 2023. I can’t wait to see what games are in store for us Sonic fans next year. Definitely give this game a shot if you have Apple Arcade.

Good game. This game is really good. I just think it needs more detail and more story more bosses. But I love all the characters you can play but I think maybe you should do you like to player this game is amazing and I think it should be on the PS it’s one of my favorite games but controlling the characters it’s really hard and annoying but other than all the devils this game is really fun and amazing and exciting and I really like it so I hope you’ll change the your view

It’s Very Creative, However-. Okay it’s been some time now since the release of Sonic Dream Team so here’s my Review! The game is very Good for a Mobile game! The Cutscenes, The Animations, And even the Soundtrack Stunning Chef’s Kiss! However there a few problems to admire. Most of the Voice Acting is good. Sonic sounds like himself he’s not as serious as he was in Frontiers but he still keeps a little bit of that energy which is good! Pretty much everyone sounds good except for Rouge! Cream sounds okay but I feel like she has had better days. But anyways Rouge is the main problem this is NOT Rouge I don’t know who voiced her but I know She can do Better. Rouge can absolutely do better! I’m thankful the Bosses are not as challenging as they are in SuperStars they’re kinda easy! But overall, this game is Great and I think it deserves DLC maybe even some New Characters and Stages! Shadow maybe?

Way better than frontiers. This should be a all platform Sonic game it makes me want to hop on unleashed on the series x but the only thing I wish Sonic games nowadays would change is the voice acting Sonic is too comical and his friends are just to corny it was not like that in the early 2000s Sonic I grew up on he was more serious and it made me wish Sonic was a real person to just hang out with but this Sonic he’s too comedic. Amazing game!!. I never thought this game would be THAT good because it was for mobile. I was wrong. This game is amazing! There are many ways to play as well because of the characters! This is similar to Sonic Frontiers, and I like that too! The graphics are nice as well. One thing though, it’s a little hard to play with both the jump and boost button extremely close to each other. Can there be a setting where there is one button on each side? Overall, the game is way better than I thought, good graphics, good story, nice gameplay, and the addition of a new character was cool. One of the best games when it comes to mobile games.

Almost Perfect. Sonic Dream Team is great, but right now, after the main story, there isn’t much else to do. Sure you can get every collectible but some people don’t wanna do that. The tails challenges are nice as well but it’s just random level from the story mode, adding some original ones in there with unique rewards would be great! I’m excited for the future of this game, there’s something really special here — looking forward for more updates!

A very fun game with many tricks up its sleeve!. I had pretty much low expectations but it was quite the surprise, it really plays well and almost feels like a Sonic Adventure or Heroes spinoff. The game allows you to explore the levels, and finish them in unique ways. You can replay them with different characters and do different missions. I have yet to beat it but I already enjoy what it has offered. Only concerns I have are stability and controls. The game is stable but at some points it fails to load the level you selected, causing you to be stuck at a white screen. As for the controls, it feels a bit off. Like if the movement had some sort of lag, not sure how to describe it. Its not terrible but not great either, at least you can sorta get used to it. Overall, I'm very surprised and I hope to see something similar like this in the future for Sonic later titles!

This is the best. I rate this a five star its so good like all the modern sonic games combined the quality is good same as controls I was so hyped for this game and hope to see more like this one thing about it is that it lacks the levels there should also be like a boss rush mode and an endless mode also sonic is a bit slow compared to all the other games but overall it’s a good game and I think it has great potential and this is coming from a 13 year old thanks a lot for this game.

Great fun Game. I was thinking that this was going to average game and not the best. but i was surprised that the game play well and has a good consepet levels and diffent albilty. the control of the charatars could be a little more better and more levels but it great for a mobile game. I love that sonic and his friend are playable and it feel like it was intened to be like that insted here the game a add other charaters later. i reminded me of the feeling that i had when i start played soinc heroes. I wish there were more diffent charates that play a little more differently like amy useing her hammer to knock door or walls down and the same for knuckels. soming that make that charater feel more special. I feel like this could be a really great main game or concetped for a main game with more variety and freedom to explore.

Game is really solid. But I can't in good faith rate it any higher as long as it remains as a subscription service exclusive. Outside if that this is honestly the most fun I've had with a sonic game in like a decade. The levels are designed around the movement system in this game which is great because this new approach gives me more of a 3d platformer vibe than a speed game vibe! None of that weird janky nonsense from the recent sonic games, just running jumping and beating up baddies! It's honestly a ton of fun and would love to see this released outside of apple arcade. If anything the mainline sonic games should take notes.

Pretty decent mobile sonic game.. This game is probably one of the best mobile sonic games out there. Its almost like a sonic console game but for your phone. Of course, it isn’t as long as a console game, although this is just a presumption as I just downloaded the game and played a couple levels. It isn’t repetitive, as it gives you different goals every now and then, but not so many that it takes away from the classic reach the goal objectives that we love. The character selection is pretty decent, although I am somewhat disappointed that shadow didn’t make it, but all in all, good graphics, loved the opening animation, interesting story and an overall good game.

Many minor issues. I’ve had a hard time getting into sonic games my entire life. The fact that it emphasizes both speed and exploration is counter intuitive. The camera angels don’t lend themselves well to seeing what is around you when moving quickly, so it often takes many repetitions to find what may have been missed. The controls are clunky, and the dash button doesn’t always target things that are nearby, making it hard to rely on the mechanic to get around.

Good Game & Bug Found. Hello, I’ve found a bug. I selected Knuckles in the first level in this game and the level loaded and after that it was stuck on a white screen. I like this game a lot and planning to keep Apple Arcade just to play it! 😊 I like it how it forces you to choose a different character then your main character in certain levels.

SDT good game. Sonic Dream Team is Overall a good game, but it crashes sometimes and it puts me on a white screen when I load into a game. Also in the start if you boost too fast all characters will shoot off into the wall, but overall, it’s a good game.

So Far, So Good. There are a few things i can nitpick in this game, or atleast in the first two chapters. On Mobile versions, the controls can be very very unresponsive or drift unctrollably. On both computers that i've played so far, some levels have some glitchy targetting between rails and enemies, which sometimes means you will miss out of your control. As for the story, yeah, it's ok. I wasn't expecting Shadow the Hedgehog 2, but it's nice. The only thing that bothers me about Dream Team is that Rouge's voice is way higher pitched than i would have expected. Otherwise, decent game. Shame it's an Apple Arcade exclusive...

Intel MacOS Very Poor Performance. I tried the game on an Intel Mac Pro with Radeon 6800 and the game ran very slow. I had to drop the graphics down to medium and the secreen resolution down to below 0.5 to get ok performance. This game needs optimising for desktop graphics cards. As it is the frame rate jumps around all over the place. It's smooth outside the levels but jittering and slow in the levels.

Save game data deleted. Loved the game but when I downloaded it on my iPad it wiped all the save data from my phone. Not starting again.

Low Quality Mac Port. Why am I even paying for Apple Arcade? Why am I even accepting Apple up the subscription price when they can't enforce better quality games? The Mac port has serious problems with jaggies (low resolution, jagged edges on everything 3D... like you would expect in 1996 on the N64). SEGA, you can do better than this. Apple, you have no shame. Apple Arcade sucks and everyone should cancel their sub.

Cloud data issue. The game is great but when I play on my Mac and progress through the game, even when I save my data, it reverts back to an old save state when I move to playing on iPhone. Now I have to replay levels I already played.

This game is good but there is too much stuttering. While it is true that I’m playing on a 6th generation iPad, the game freezes a quarter of a second very often. I think fixing the performance issues should be a priority so that everyone can fully enjoy this surprisingly good game!

Good quality game, super easy levels though. Compared to other Sonic games, I really enjoyed being able to play other characters apart from Sonic however felt the story was really short and too easy. Definitely worth a download for something to do however but hope Sega makes another longer story game like this or more to play on the phone! 🌟

The intro is too long. It’s a really fun game but every time you open the app you have to sit through the entire intro with no way to skip it. So if you take a phone call or have to close the app for any reason you are stuck watching the intro again.

One of a kind. The is a hidden gem. It’s a action packed game that feels 2D but in a 3D space. It one of the best Apple Arcade games. I’d recommend this game to new gamers interested in sonic games. The only thing that needs to be worked on is the boss battles are a little on the easy side and the cutscenes are okay. Other than that it’s a great game you should check out!

Like an actual Sonic game on PC and Consoles. It’s an amazing experience and it was surprising to see a sonic mobile game from the Hard light team and it feel like a Mainline sonic games that you will mostly get for console or PC. I also like the return of Rouge and Cream, since they haven’t been playable in a game like this since the 2000’s and with Ian Flynn writing the story as well it a pretty cool experience.

Why Apple Sonic games on Apple Arcade are GO. ONE OF THE BEST MAINLINE 3D SONICS EVER!!!!. W Game, but only 2 problems. One, the 7 challenges in one act gets really repetitive, and 2, its only available on Apple Arcade and Apple Devices, which is gonna cause this game to die very quickly. Hope they port it to consoles soon. But other than that, amazing game, Hardlight should definitely work on the big 3D Sonic for consoles next!!

Better Than Sonic Frontiers. This game is amazing. This not only looks better than frontiers, but it plays better, doesn’t reuse any aesthetics and has better level design. If this is the direction the franchise is going then I’m all in, because I wasn’t a big fan of Frontiers. I am hoping this game releases to consoles soon, as it is worthy of a full on console release and I’d gladly pay money to own this game.

A little glitch (I think). When i finished the levels to get rouge and knuckles it didn’t work and it was still locked I hope it’s a glitch or something because if I did something wrong I don’t want to blame you guys but over all it’s a great game me and all my siblings play this game and love it.

Good game but little glitch. So I was playing the game and I got to the end of the game and got all the dream orbs and blue coins but it still said I was missing some dream orbs from ego city act 3 and I’ve gotten all of them twice to make sure so I’d like this to get fixed because I played for so long to get this achievement.

Great Mobile Game, Mid Console Game. This game doesn't have much depth, but the core gameplay is great fun. Especially with a controller. Levels are short and very fun to play. Three character classes with six playable characters. Definitely has Sonic Adventure 2 vibes to it. This is the most fun I've had with Sonic in a while. Needs polish: feels like more of a tech demo than a finished game.

The best sonic game. Honestly this is the best sonic game since sonic unleashed, which is my favorite sonic game ( despite its fun but slow- paced werehog levels. I strongly recommend this game to sonic fans and to people who are not familiar with the franchise. This game is a great way to introduce yourself to the series.

Best pure 3D Sonic game since Adventure 2. Awesome gameplay. Love the inclusion of more playable characters beyond just Sonic, especially the inclusion of Amy, Rogue, and Cream. I hope there’s more playable characters in the future. Story and presentation might honestly be the best in the entire franchise. There needs to be more Sonic games like this.

Good game but…. I am currently playing Sonic Dream Team so far it is a good 3D sonic game just like the other mainline sonic games I have played but my save data seem to reset twice and I have to start over from the beginning I don’t know why it always happens when continued playing from one Apple device to another when I downloaded the app on my Apple TV it happened.

Very amazing game although…. I really really love this game. The idea of eggman using the Revine as a way to make his dream come true is truly amazing. Although there is one problem I have. So I got all the dream orbs from all the acts and I didn’t get the achievement on both dream team and the Game Center 😭😭😭

One of the best Sonic games!. This was soo fun to play! I managed to beat it in one day but that didn’t kill any of the fun I had. Pretty Decent with some hiccups. First off (because I want these to be addressed), bugs! I finished all the orbs but I didn’t get the achievement or the statue for one of the levels for some reason, so those seem to be locked out for me until the check gets patched :/ Actual game, I’m super into it! A great Sonic Mobile game with really refined level design and arguably some of the best we’ve seen from the boost formula to date. Going for completionist (as best I can :/)

Good sonic game, and it has potential to be one of the best sonic mobile games ever, the only thing that this is a 9.9 out of 10 is because you need to make the boost ability a little longer. Otherwise it is a very good mobile sonic game. So please make the boost ability longer, thank you for making this game.

Data loss. I was playing the game as I normally would and logged off for a bit. Now that I re entered the game, I found that all my data was lost. That was my only issue. Aside from that, this game is a blast! I recommend.

Best sonic game since frontiers. I gotta admit this has good controls and amazing story and the graphics are really great especially for a mobile title. The voices are a little off like for rouge her voice sounds a bit off but other that the game is amazing I recommend you play it 10/10

Finally !!!. I just downloaded the game and i played the first level and i just wanna say how happy i am !!! This is by far the best Sonic game i ever played or seen on mobile, i been waiting for the longest for a regular sonic game on mobile inside of sonic dash or the old 2d sonic games! THANK YOU!!!!!

Funny gaem. This game is so funny. It not only has Sonic the freaking hedgehog, but it also has knuckles! He is so handsome and beautiful and makes me laugh. This game has a joystick and buttons! This game sometimes removes the anti-aliasing randomly with no questions so that’s fun. Really good game because knuckles.

Should have been a console game! This is a complete Sonic Game!. The only downside is that this should have been a console game. I really like the variety of missions per stages. Some missions are more exploring oriented and others are focused in speed. Is a nice way to please the fandom that centers around speed and those who prefer the exploring type.

Sonic dream team’s awesomeness. Sega worked hard on this, truly great. The intro cutscene, awesome! By the way, the music in this cutscene has a sonic superstars reference. The levels, way past cool! The music is like, “aw yeah! This is happening!” Those other cutscenes have flare with the facial expressions. But sadly, I haven’t completed the game yet. And so, my review is not finished yet.

Awesome game. This game is really great, the only note is that when playing the game the cursor gets locked sometimes which means the only way to unlock the cursor even after the level is completed is to close the app altogether

Short, but Sweet. A great Sonic platformer that, while slightly rough around the edges in places, more than delivers on what it wanted to be. With a bit more polish and a lot more content, I think this would even be worth paying for as a full console release!

Ego City Act 3 is broken. I confirmed TWICE that when I complete all of the challenges and get all the orbs (plus the Red Ring orb) in Ego City Act 3, the game doesn't give me the trophy for it. It's impossible to get the trophy for getting all orbs in Ego City Act 3. I speedran 100%ing the game twice to confirm. I will raise my rating once this is fixed. Outside of that, great game! You guys made a Sonic fan proud today.

Sonic has never felt more alive. This is just insanely good From the controls to the character designs and animation. The sound, even the little story and plot it’s amazing, it just has no flaws, just pure fun. You would guess it doesn’t control good on mobile but you’d be wrong. This combines the fun and ideas of Sonic and the quality assurance of apple it’s the best combo.

Super sonic cool. I am a huge sonic fan. And to see a 3D game it is awesome I played this for 5 hours straight it is definitely worth to play. And the character models are really cool to. But I’m happy cream is finally playable again it been generations. <— get it sonic generations😄. Well it is awesome.

A lot of fun, but it needs more camera control options. This game is a lot of fun! It’s very impressive for being an Apple Arcade game. Definitely feels like a main console entry, especially playing it on Apple TV. My only issue is that there needs to be an Invert X Axis option for the camera. I have a really hard time playing it because of that. Add that, and the game would be perfect!

Solid, but soft boiled.. I played this on an ipad with a PS4 controller and it was a pretty good time. It's competent and worth your time. I would have liked a stomp button, since it's something I got used to in the 3d console games, but that's not a deal breaker. The bigger issue for me personally is that the characters all play too similarly, the flying characters feel awkward to fly with, and the team switching mechanic is slow and not well utilized. There was only one level really based around using all 3 character types. Otherwise you need to pause the game and spend a few seconds changing through the menu. I think this team could make a real banger if given the chance... And probably not on mobile.

Fantastic Experience. First, I tried it with the touch controls, and I thought it was a very good game, now I’m trying it with the gamepad, and it has definitely skyrocketed to one of my favorites. It’s so fun just to jump in and play a level or two, but you can also progress through the story and take it seriously if you like. I want more sonic games just like this! :)

THIS GAME IS SO GOOD. I’m not sure how, but a mobile game managed to be one of my favorite sonic games of all time. The levels are fun and creative, the bosses are fun and don’t drag on too long, and each character feels great to play as. Sonic and Amy can do the light speed dash, Tails and Cream can fly, and Knuckles and Rouge can glide and climb walls. It’s a truly great experience and a must-play mobile game.

It’s fire. I hope yall update it and put costumes. But when are yall gonna realize shadow just needs to be in every game like we like the edginess. For longevity I say make a hub world where we can interact with other players and make it so we can build our own levels and join kinda like Mario maker
