Just lame. Like others using this app, I was excited for its possibilities. But, it doesn’t even meet its potential. You can’t close tabs. If I do a copy paste into the search function and hit return, it does nothing. If I search for a specific alternative news website it bypasses it for its competition. Dismally disappointing!!

had high hopes but its just too buggy.. I LOVE the idea of a no tracking, no personal data mining, private search engine, but things have gone from slow, to broken. when i open the app, it tells me there’s an update available. when i try to install it, it takes me to the app store but there’s no update available. so i click on the “return to the app” option, which takes me back to the update page. ugh.

I know it’s new but…. I want to love it. I know it’s new but please fix bugs! Goes back to home screen when searching and if I’m lucky enough to open a web page, I’m only able to keep open momentarily before it goes back to Home Screen. I searched through other reviews to see if anyone else had this problem. And I’m not the only one. I saw a developer response to another reviewer to be sure it’s installed properly. Im not sure how there’s a wrong way to install but for the record, I have one of the newest iPhones and it is installed properly. I really am excited about this but unfortunately, until bugs are fixed, I can’t use it. Can you respond to me when this bug has been fixed?! Thank you 😊

Great app. I love how I have the freedom to search and not worry about my data being collected. Free internet, as it should be.

Great Concept… Needs Work. I WANT to use this app. I WANT to love it in practice; conceptually I do. There are just too many bugs in the functionality. I can’t handle it any longer. Fix it up and I’m back in, no arguments.

Tusk need work!. I was excited to see Tusk was censorship free. I know Americans are wanting this so it’s so important to get this right. I even made the browser my default until a put in a link into the search bar believing it would take me to the exact page and it took me to a Tusk search engine. I then went to preferences to check out what I could do there and it crashed on me and closed out several times. Disappointed. I hope this web browser can hire the right help and make it great. Subpar Center Left Browser - Gippr never works. Tested this browser and it’s search. Comparing the browser to others, it’s subpar with extremely limited functionality and preference control. Of course that would be forgivable if it accomplished it’s stated purpose, which it does not. The search engine offers 3 options (Left-Center-Right), but it should be (Portland-Far Left-Left of Center). Ex: I’m no Glenn Youngkin fan, but a “Right” search of him offers no 1st page favorable articles, mostly just results to his page, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc…and 2nd page results has unfavorable articles. “With results like this, who needs Google”…Received similar results with numerous other metrics. But not surprising, given this seems to be just another extension of the controlled opposition propaganda machine. That or grifting. But this is not a serious actor for conservatives. Was unable to test Gippr AI because it was unavailable due to traffic, every time…

Tusk web browser (not the Fleetwood Mac album). Nice little browser with some very nice security features.

Disappointing. Not what it purports to be. It’s just as politically correct and woke as any of the other browsers. I say that with disappointment, because I was hoping for something different.

Broken!. Your latest fix broke it! When I go into the app it goes to a screen to update the app. I clicked the link, it takes me to the App Store, and the only option is to open, not Update. I click open, it takes me to my last webpage, then quickly over to a screen that tells me to update. And on and on.

Default Search Engine. Default search engine is Yahoo and other options (in preferences) are completely biased. App is slow or just not working at times (home news keeps just saying “loading”) I appreciate what this app is supposed to be doing but I will not be using this app until they are serious about an unbiased search.

Still not working. You received a 1 star report on April 16. The error 104. You responded with we will fix. Now almost a month latter does not work. Will remove. It a shame too.

Unable to update app. Not sure what I’m doing wrong but for the past two months I’m been unable to update my Tusk browser through the App Store. Please advise as to how I can update this browser. Thank you!

Great web browser. No issues with the web browser so far. I recommend it.

Worked well until latest update. This app worked fine for me nail the latest update. Now, every time I open the app, it tells me to update. I select “update” and it takes me to the App Store, and the only option available is to open the app. Guess what happens? Shampoo, rinse, repeat. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but no joy. I would’ve rated the Tusk app much higher if they’d addressed this problem in a timely manner. And there’s no way that I’ve found to report bugs. Lots of room for improvement here.

Not ready yet. So excited about the premise of a non-liberal search engine, but its not available yet. You get to choose your browser among all of the ones you know and loathe - Tusk says its coming soon. But even when I choose one in preferences, I still get the default Yahoo. When I choose all of the sites I want to get articles from, only some of them show up as an icon to tap and go to. Please let me know when you get it working. But right now, it’s not ready.

Love It!. Was easy to set up thumbnails of all my go to newsfeeds on the homepage. Added bonus is that I don’t even have to see the headlines of the liberal propaganda that passes for news on the homepage of competing browsers.

Doesn’t work. I was excited for the concept of this app! I downloaded this browser and I cannot use it. There’s no way to delete tabs. A video was playing and I couldn’t even figure out where it was to turn it off. It was a video that I had already listen to. I finally found it just by pushing different parts of your app until it finally brought it up. I have tried to use it four or five times and I’m going to have to delete it. It should be real simple because all the other browsers, make it simple to push an X and the tab is gone. I don’t know what y’all are trying to do with the functionality of this app but the most basic things don’t work.

Won’t update. It opens up prompting me to update (after using it and loving it for quite some time), but does nothing when I hit the prompt to update. Tried everything I can think of to no avail. Tried to delete and reinstall…no change….Website won’t let me send a message either. Pretty bummed cuz I used it daily.

Initial Tusk Review. So far I like the way this browser is set up. The few items I searched I was able to find pretty easy. It’s nice to have an option. One complaint I have is the close page option doesn’t work. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it is similar to the Safari button on the bottom right. Closes the page but not the browser. I like that option but this one is inoperable so I have to completely close the browser or hit the back button. Really inconvenient but this is very new and there are bound to be a few bugs. Please fix and I’ll spread the word about Tusk.

Needs work.. Downloaded today. Browser windows close very frequently while surfing. Needs improvement.

Better than CharGPT. Hands down better than Microsoft’s Woke Chatbot. Thank you guys !

Needs some work. It’s a new app so has some bugs like back button bringing you to a blank page and screen sometimes just goes back to home. Please add Duck Duck Go as a search engine option. Forcing the use of biased search engines like Google or Yahoo go against the mission of this browser.

Had high hopes.. Had high hopes for this app. But only 18 hours after downloading it when I open the app it’s a blank white screen. I’ve refreshed it, cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled it, powered down my phone and turned it back on and tried opening the app. You guys have failed at creating a sustainable app. Very disappointed. I figured you’d have a team of experts that created a smooth and fluid running app and not a team of high school amateurs.

New And Furthering the Cause. I really like the look and quick response to finding what I’m looking for. Shocker, I can really find information that I know is out there and not being blocked. It’s a good start.

Am I Doing Something Wrong. Why would the search engine be yahoo? I thought the whole point of this was to get away from biased sites?

Okay. The app is great but for some reason recently when I try to search a topic in the search bar, every topic from all the other tabs flash in the search bar. Also, when I try to open a separate browser tab it overlaps another so I loose tabs.

No way to delete browser history. When building new conservative browser, I would have thought privacy would be in the top three things to address. I didn’t see any way to delete my short browsing history, and the issue was not addressed in the FAQs…. Deleting the app off my phone until that issue is addressed.

Good Start…Needs Home Button. Please put in a HOME button on this browser…it’s weird there isn’t one.

not happy with search engine at all. What good does a search engine do for you, if the screen keeps going black, and it won’t let you sign up. When I tried to sign up it would bot ket me see tge lunes where I put in my address and other information. I own a iPhone 12, and I use it almost exclusively to search for everything . I will try in a few months to use it again. If they have bot fixed it by them I will just delete the app.

I have it as a default and try to like it but it’s still got issues. I have hopes for TUSK! I invested a small amount in the WeFunder with your company, because we as conservatives, we NEED something like this! We deserve something like this! Thank you for taking the steps needed to make it happen. I know it will definitely come with initial challenges, and roadblocks. It feels like a skeleton of a browser right now, it crashes quite often and is just very glitchy. Everyone has their “comfort zone” browser, that houses their favorites and bookmarks etc., they have customized it to feel like home. TUSK still has a long way to go, to feel like home. I look forward to clicking on it one day, and getting that welcome home feeling. Y’all will get there, I have faith.

Browser, but NOT a search engine. Potential downloaders should know that this app does not include it’s own search engine. The default search engine is yahoo, but you change it in settings. Interestingly, there is no option to select Duck Duck Go as your search engine. If the developers upgrade this app to add an unbiased search engine, I will upgrade my rating to 5 stars.

No update. Hi guys, love the browser, can’t wait to try the search engine but I believe Apple is blocking you guys ( Big surprise there, right?) Anyways…this update (like the last one) is not ready apparently, according to Apple store. I can’t even see your browser because of the opening update screen unless maybe if I push the “Skip this update” button which I don’t want to do so I’m stuck not being able to use your browser 99.9% sure it’s not your fault…oh and by the way, I can’t get to your support page because of this sooooo the only way to get you a message is through a review…Hopefully. You can’t zoom in on web pages. Wanted to like it but not being able to zoom in on a phone size screen makes the app unusable

App doesn’t work again - Current Update 👎🏽. Error Notice no matter what u put in for search /url : Tusk can not load the page as the server can not be reached. Please check your url and try again. Error: 104 Also, Black Screen delay when u open app. DO BETTER -I need a browser that’s reliable. Since you dropped the app it hasn’t been!!!

Wish I could give it 5 stars. I give it 3 for providing a browser I always wished for. On my Windows computer, It is extremely slow however, especially the news feeds. And, I see ads a crazy number of ads on some web sites, that I don’t see on other browsers. I think they’re Google ads. I don’t trust Google, so I wouldn’t doubt they’re trying to sabotage this. Needs a lot of work, but I’ll try it again later.

Good start. I’m all for what this company is trying to accomplish but the app is a little clunky. Closing open tabs doesn’t always work and it’s difficult to find bookmarks. I’d love to see a reader mode with just text too.

App Update creates a loop and won’t Update. Your app ‘update’ simply creates a loop back to your app in the App Store. The app Update does NOT update. I really want to like this app.

Disappearing website article. I have one complaint at the moment. I am trying to read an article and it disappears. I then have to go back and refresh to get the article back up. Annoying!

Good app overall but……... The app does not work well with VoiceOver. I’m visually impaired and this app just doesn’t work well with the accessibility feature. Also, not relovent to the App Store client, but why is there also no Linux version? We have a Mac and windows version available but those who just want to ditch big tech desktop operating systems don’t even have a Linux client. Hopefully we get that very soon. But if the devs make this app compatible with VoiceOver, I may just permanently switch to it as long as that happens and a future update allows us to set as the default browser.

Tusk. So far I love this browser its fast and reliable. It has never not allowed a restriction on a search of anykind

Not working. When first downloading and using Tusk it worked great but for two months it won’t pull up anything that you type in to search.

Love it, but…. Tusk is the best (only) conservative browser out there. Only things I really do not like are 1) ads all over the place; 2) they track your location. But, it’s an excellent resource for those with conservative values.

Blank page. Even since I did the update all I get is a blank page! So now I can't use it!

Not as Conservative as intended. I removed the default preferences to my own personal choices but it keeps defaulting back to those feeds I didn't indicate such as Forbes, Wapo, cnn etc. Has bugs and like Twitter, is infiltrated with fake news search engines.

LOVE IT!!! I’ve been Wanting This. Love it! Excellent. Thank you for making a browser alternative for us conservatives, the good team. I support you. Now just like everything in life and every digital product its just a matter of fine tuning and updates to polish it off a little, but the main element is here and its Great. My hats off to ya’ll. Please bring us the Tusk Search engine. There is a need for it in the USA market, and the Global conservative market also. Its something that needs to happen and be tapped into, it is a core element of intersection for future developments of other conservative companies, as well. Search engine is the Gatekeeper, along with browser. This is crucial to help, support and expand conservative thoughts, perspectives, views, and even future segway into purchases from conservative buyers towards conservative sellers and companies. Ya’ll can be Gatekeepers. And its a double whammy to woke liberal stores because conservatives gain a customer, or a sale and they lose a sale, hence double whammy. The market share just in USA alone, is half conservative, that is a half of a 332 Million people population. And in Europe and Canada Australia its a very similar situation. In addition there are many moderates in the left that arent up to date on matters and just go with whomever has better pricing on purchases. Please continue to develop this browser and Search engine, and Do Not Forget to advertise it or promote it at Conservative events. But dont spend all the budget in advertising though. Instead ask users to share or promote it and ask for good will from conservative figures to help promote it, and very important at all Conservative events promote it. From the promotion and advertising comes the influx of users and from that the project gets wind under its wings to grow exponentially further. But if no one knows about it it stalls. Advertising Tusk at conservative events is crucially important dont forget it. No one can use what they dont know exists yet. Product awareness amongst conservative events is important. Dont skip this first important step before going to advertise to mainstream. And as for any constructive feedback or any suggestions; first, ya’ll are doing great, feel good about that. My sugestion would be to: 1)Add syncing to bookmarks so that I can view my same bookmarks in the Tusk browser wherever I am and in any device I am using , at any given moment. 2) Doing great now, just, as with any product like this, in the beginning work on more updates to further speed up the experience all over. Some further updates to improve speed are always important for any digital product like this. But doing good so far. Suggestions 1 and 2 are the most important to me. But below is 3 and 4 if time allows. 3) Also, how about removing any yahoo default, and instead add the Brave search engine option, to replace yahoo as the default, perhaps. 4) The ability to put ones own picture in the background from one’s own device. Its Just a thought, maybe some people would really like that. 5) Also adding a few guided popup tips, for beginners, on how they can choose or switch to and from, the desired search engine in the Preferences button.

Rumble videos. Rumble, one of the largest free speech video platforms on the internet is not indexed on this browser. Many YouTube videos which we all know is not free speech and daily motion but no rumble videos at all. Why? I would love to hear an answer to this Tusk. Thank you for responding, I have emailed you a video explaining exactly what I am talking about.
