Ads and impossible levels. As users have pointed out before, the amount of ads during gameplay makes this game frustrating to play when connected to the internet. There are indeed close to 3-5 ads per game that you must watch. On earlier levels, this could easily wait until In between games as the levels usually do not take more than a few minutes. However, the developers clearly think that ads are NEEDED during gameplay as they have responded to other reviews with that thought process. You can still get revenue based on ads in between games. Saying you need to put ads “for functionality and to keep developing the game” simply translates to “I want more money” because there are hundreds of thousands of other games that do not do what is done here. There are games similar to that of this game that does not require ads through the game itself. On top of this, I have found that once you get to around level 150, the game requires you to use boosts to win. Otherwise, there is no technique to win the round. I have tried and failed several times with each level and it’s just not possible. Do not waste your time with this game as it may seem fun at first, but it will eventually become a problem to play and succeed.

Micro transaction galore. The game is a ton of fun. Like others have said, you can spend quite a bit of time playing, and very rarely lose interest in any of the levels/pvp battles. It’s about as fun, if not better than its sister app “War Regions”. Yeah, there are a ton of ads, but I personally don’t mind that. If I enjoy the game enough, I’ll usually purchase the ad blocker. My biggest gripe: the fact that this game pushes you in the direction of being a pay to win. Depending on the rarity of the arsenal that you have at your disposal, you are forced to either shop in the store or purchase the battle pass in order to get the necessary components to upgrade further. Not only that, but items that you can get from the chest, on the terrible chance you’ll actually get enough rubies to purchase a silver or gold, the probability of getting anything decent is god awful. Not to mention that after every battle, the developers are shoving the better items practically down your throat in regards to purchasing them. $40-$50 for a purple/gold item that I’m going to have to shell out even more money for to upgrade is crazy work. Might want to tone that down a bit, your greed is really showing.

Fun but Store Items are too Expensive. I really like this game and recent updates have made it better! My only complaint is that items in the store are way too expensive. I don’t know who is paying $99 for a better troop but it’s not me. The token system for upgrading you troops is also confusing. Somehow I do get token and there is an auto button to apply the tokens but I have no clue how I got the tokens or how to get more. It says through the store or battle pass. I don’t want to pay $30 for more tokens and I don’t see on the battle pass which reward is tokens. I would love to understand better and have googled but I can’t find a answer. In all while I don’t mind spending money on a good game, for example I bought the no ads, the other store items are just way to expensive.

TERRIBLE Ads, Great game.. Normally I don’t write reviews. I think this is my first one actually. This is a great game, and they know this. In which case they BOMBARD you with ads. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game THIS bad with advertisements. I was getting upset when certain games had ads after every level, but my goodness this is terrible. Literally 70% of your total playtime on this game is ads. There’s an ad before every level, and if you take too long during a level, there’s up to 3 ads, then when you finish the level guess what? Yup. Another ad. I would give this game a 0 just because of how bad the ads are. I don’t even want to play it after 5 minutes because I get atleast 5 ads within that time. I tried timing it to see how much actual in game time you get before an ad, but I’ve seen no consistency. Some every 30 seconds, some every minute, and at the maximum was 2 full minutes without an ad. (Not counting the before and after ads) Outstanding. I have no idea how this game has 4+ stars with the amount of advertisements this game has. They want you to pay for their game soooo badly. I’m sure 90% of people got sick of it and just bought the game, then gave it a good review. If you want to waste your time watching ads, go ahead and download this game. I have nothing good to say other than it’s a great place to find a new game. Sickening.

Don't waste your time. This game is just trying to grab your money. Your units quickly fall behind the computer and you have to grind well past acceptable levels to get parts to advance unless you buy them for money. The drop rate for good units is extremely low, so again grind gems to try your luck OR buy gems, or better yet, buy a better unit for $50. The multi-player is just the computer pretending to be humans (user names are all people names, no 69, 420, XXX that you find in real games, and they'll wait for you to finish an ad to get a speed boost if you accidentally bump that button) that have higher level units, but again you can buy something to advance on the leader board for cash. This game doesn't try to hide these flaws like other ones do... So at least I figured out it's a shameless cash grab early. Just do yourself a favor and don't download this cash grab poorly disguised as a game. Edit: after the dev team replied to me, they made no changes in the right direction... Now I'm getting $99 sales... $100 is just obscene... But the computers have that level of power. So after a while you can watch ads (even with ad free paid for) to even have a chance to beat the level... Or pay $100.

Fun game, but…. I really like this game. It’s a challenge, it’s fun- but…. It’s literally impossible to upgrade your characters enough to remain competitive without spending money. You have to get medallions to continue upgrading and those medallions, as far as I can tell, cannot just be won. You have to purchase them for anywhere from $5 up to $15 (that’s what I’ve seen so far). You make so much money on ads, which I watch for boosters and after every single level, that the medallions are absolutely just a con to get people to spend. Additionally, they have “epic” characters (which I’ll assume also need medallions to upgrade) that cost $50-$70!! That is insane. Really disappointed to delete this game because it is fun, but I’m unwilling to spend a bunch of money on a game intended to pass time. ETA after developers response: I did rate accordingly! While the game is fun, the greed you have created in the game far outweighs the entertainment value. Change the game to allow the tokens to be earned in more ways than simply buying them with real money. It’s 2 stars because devs are greedy, greedy, greedy.

The Work of Sauron. It is too difficult to get upgrade chips. I have thousands in gold, lots of gems, but cannot use them to buy chips. Terribe. Extremely addictive and fun game. BUT: it is built on a mountain of lies, deceit, and treacherous game structuring. As to the former two, in the PVP battles (the best part) you don’t play against real players (how else could PVP work in Airplane Mode?). I question if the Arena battles even use real players’ stats too, as that also works in Airplane Mode as well. Further: 一 the upgrade chips for troops are too difficult to procure, especially for blue and purple troops. No levels that I’ve seen have offered them as reward. You myst buy them with arena battle tokens, and they’re too expensive. I have 3 units stuck - looks like it will take 1 month to upgrade just 1. Guess they want you to spend $20 for a booster pack or watch $20 worth of ads over the month. 二 you should have a small gem/coin store to buy useful items, e.g. equipment, upgrade tokens, boosters, etc. that refreshes each day. Note the one in Archero. 三 Why do challenges refresh and have a cool off period? It’s obnoxious to not be able to play the challenges on certain days. Also, I find myself playing some of the same challenges again after the refresh. 四 The PVP opponent attack levels often are far lower than mine, and this makes it very easy. Rebalancing it would be great.

OMG! One thing would make this game better. That one thing will change your life forever. The only thing better than this game on your phone…is a phone without this game on it. Please stop paying or creating bots to raise up those 5 star reviews. It’s a cute game but like it’s clones, you only get a few levels (about 30 minutes) before your forced into watching ads after every win or loss. Heck every couple times you can’t barely load the game and boom an ad. What worse is the ads are supersized. I have had multiples that have lasted 50 to 60 seconds or ads. You’d make more money on the game if you showed 25% of the ads you do today, IF, and only if people like you game. People spend money on good games. If they don’t like it and it is this mess of an app, people delete. God forbid you make more money if you put in the effort on the game that you put into integrating ads so frequently. Waiting patiently for the canned Thank you reply. Wherein the contents of it make you feel like they had heard your cry and we’ll have it fixed tomorrow.

The ads are NOT the worst part!. I downloaded this game and was immediately hooked. In one evening, I managed to get through the first 50 or so levels and leveled up to the 2nd bronze tier in pvp (which aren’t real players btw). The ads were numerous but doable in order to get additional rewards. Fyi, if you choose to skip watching an ad for x3 or to spin again, you still watch an ad, albeit skippable. However, what is really troublesome about this game and why I decided to delete it is the horrendous gameplay. There is no sufficient tutorial or explanation as to what the diff parts of the game mean and how they relate. For example, the battle pass. I didn’t realize I needed to complete daily and weekly quests in order to advance in the battle pass. Once I figured that out, I realized I needed to beat EIGHTY main levels (among other things) in order to get stars to advance in battle pass. Then I noticed with pvp your power means nothing. I had leveled up my unit and tank to almost 2,000 yet I was losing to “players” with not even 1,000. As I googled and researched tips and strategies for the game as well as read Apple reviews, I knew there was no way I was keeping this game so I deleted it and I suggest you do too until the devs make some serious changes to the gameplay. It’s a very obvious money grab with no real consideration for the players. Unfortunate because it is a fun game.

Played to level 21 and beyond. Very fun game to pass time with, has basic tactical gameplay. Controls are simple and work well, basic but fun audio and art style. It is a mobile game so there are in app purchases and ads, however interesting enough they lock there own shop behind a lvl lock. It is annoying when you look forward to a unlock and it’s just a real life shop but interesting that they are also cutting there potential purchases off until you played a bit. All other lvl ups are very cool and the final one at 21 seems far but it fits in well with the “story” and doesn’t take more than an hour or so to get to. Ad free mode being 5.00 is a bit high in my opinion however I was happy to buy it at that price do to the fact that they were honest in there ad that you can play this with no internet connection and as I played offline through to 21 it felt a fair price to pay to support a honest developer. All that said fun game worth the money for no ads and the ability to play offline is nice to see again. Hopefully enough people financially responsible and stable can buy the ad free version so that those who can’t can still enjoy the games offline ability with ads when they are online.

Fun, but…. This game is actually quite fun. Its mechanics are easy to learn but can be quite challenging depending on the level. But I can’t give it a good rating for three reasons: 1. There’s a lot of ads. One after every level. (Or more if you don’t pass the level.) Ads are fine, but that’s a LOT. You can pay ($5 right now) to go ad free. And I’d have done this except for the audio issues. 2. The sound on this game doesn’t work right. I like playing this while listening to an audiobook. So I have the game set to no sound and no music. But, it doesn’t stick. Right in the middle of the level, the sound effects will sometimes turn back on. And, as if that isn’t annoying enough, it will also randomly do something that causes Audible to pause. So I have to constantly restart my book. Annoying. 3. The ads are terrible. Not just in frequency, but ads with close buttons that don’t work. You have to exit the game to get out of the ad. (Draft Kings is one of the worst offenders.) And, even with my phone set to silent and the game’s settings set to mute, ads will still play with sound. Overall, this game is fun. I’ve played it for hours on end. But I just deleted it. Just can’t deal with its issues anymore.

Bugs and problems. I’ve owned and played this game for several months. There have been some recent (massive) changes that dramatically change the game. It went from a rather simplistic game (play against the AI) to a combo of play the AI and PvP. Not that big a deal, but the new game isn’t the same game from two months ago. Big bug: At the conclusion of each match, you win coins. These coins are now spent to improve your army or tank. It isn’t exactly clear how the improvements work (what is “resurrection”??). But the real problem is that the game cheats you out of the coins. I just completed a match and won “+62” coins. By watching a 30 (ish) second advertisement, I am supposed to receive 3x that number (+186). But in reality, I only received 180. Not a big number, but still it’s frustrating. Especially when that happens each match. It also makes me heavily question the legitimacy of other perks. As things are currently, I don’t want to continue playing if the game is going to rip me off and cheat. Further frustration: the game has become a pay to win game. While I can still play PvE, hope of winning ranked PvP is low since I cannot get a decent upgrade for my armies without spending money.

Core gameplay is great but game will start to cheat. I paid to remove the ads because I thought the core game play was pretty good. I’m on level 690 something and I’ve been noticing for a while that the game towers have started using special characters. So eventually the game will try to force you to pay for the upgrades in order to continue being able to have a chance. It’s probably not a coincidence that around the time they started happening the game started encouraging me to pay for the upgrade packs every single time I opened it. I feel a little silly for having paid to move the ads because it feels like the game will become unplayable after a while. I just wanted a simple little tower game. I didn’t want to have to upgrade my units or anything like that and I’m definitely not going to pay for the upgrades So buyer beware.

Game is fun but could use some improvements. Overall the game is really fun. I feel like the ads are a bit much but I think compared to what some other reviewers have noted it seems they have listened and removed ads from in the middle of gameplay which is likely keeping people playing a lot longer vs. just an immediate uninstall which is what I would’ve done. However there are some areas that leave something to be desired. 1. The levels just increase with no goal. It would be nice if you could see what map/area you are on and how many total maps/areas there are so you can get some sense of the progress you’ve made in the game. 2. The “Secret Missions” are a joke and are so easy that they aren’t even fun to play. It seems like they got the idea to include the multiplier things from other “clickbait” games and force them into this game but, while cool in theory, the implementation is poor and the AI in these levels barely does anything making the levels a joke. 3. The PVP appears to be fake which takes away from the fun of it. It essentially just becomes more levels against AI In summary, the core gameplay loop is actually very fun, but the features surrounding it could use some work to make the overall game more enjoyable. If the devs put some thought into how this is implemented I’m sure they could amass a significant following of players.

Is this a Game supported ad? Do not download. Update: I got a response from the developer: “Hello, dear Sinnsix! Thank you for reporting this problem with our tower war tactical game. We will try to fix it as soon as possible so that you can continue to enjoy it. Your feedback is extremely important to us because only together we can create the best game ever! ❤️🙏❤️" It’s still junk. This whole game experience is like buying a new phone from a shady dealer for $30. You hope it’s the real thing, but you are disappointed that it wasn’t real, more so you are disappointed in yourself for believing it might be real in the first place. 1st review: I don’t believe this game has this many positive reviews. No one would stick around long enough to get past the ads. The game looks fun, when I can play it. My phone gets smoking hot after a few minutes. Not sure why, plenty of other games play fine. Worst part? A few minutes of gameplay, and ads that are just as long as the gameplay. It feels like you are playing a game during an ad, not watching an ad between gameplay. I would spend the money to pay for no ads, only I know every booster and every other feature of the game will be ad supported. No thanks. Deleting the game after this review.

Great game but awful way of developing. I love playing this game I can play for hours on end but unfortunately they have ads. I’m okay with ads idc about them honestly but when it happens in the middle of a “campaign” or mission whatever you wanna call it it’s annoying I can understand afterwords but in the middle like come on especially in their new PvP you still get ads in the middle of playing against people can you see how poorly that goes? As for the freezing and overheating of my phone also annoying but the freezing of the game doesn’t happen often for me anyway it’s more or less playing this game for hours starts to slow my phone down even after closing the game idk if it’s because of overheating or what but a little frustrating. Regardless I love the game it’s simple and keeps me occupied for when I’m bored and it’s super easy best tower defense game out there that’s this simple but satisfying for my needs. Edit: best way to play and the only reason imma give it 4 stars instead of 3 is because when you turn WiFi and data off obviously no ads but also there’s no way to get better soldiers and tanks this way. I just did 200 levels or more just today with just the basic stuff still fun to play.

Describe Insanity. So could be a very fun game. But after recording 200 matches and each of the “random rewards” possibility (5 per victory) I found that the results were far from random. This makes it false advertising or st very least extremely misleading. Naturally this is designed to incentivize you to click the “more chances” option which then runs a commercial and this rewarding you with yet another “random reward” which again is also verifiably not “random” but rather intact favors gold 92% more than the much needed boxes or better rubies. Thus, I recommend passing on this game. It had potential of being a great tower overtake game. Smooth fun. Could use a few more variety options for types of towers or even paths. But it is very slow to progress without spending. And quite honestly even then it’s difficult to progress without spending a lot. $20 to me is fine for entertainment in a game if this caliber. But don’t think it will get you any real advantage. Probably need to spend upwards of $100 to notice a real increase in equipment.

Love hate. Playing is a love hate thing. The game is a great concept and if it worked well it would be awesome. However, the adds are ridiculous, you can’t even finish 1 battle without 2 and sometimes 3 adds. This is very frustrating. Also I’m not sure what else this is doing in the background but it slows the phone way down. That defiantly makes me nervous. Also if that were not enough the game crashes often. Closing out the game and restarting it will bring it back to life but of course any progress you had made when it crashed is gone. Its not uncommon for me to start playing, get hit with a few adds, come back from the add only to have the game running so slow I can’t make any moves before the next add hits and then if I can finally win, it crashes before I get the reward. The latest thing is when I win and watch the ads to “x3” the money it show the triple amount , then drops back to original amount and credits that to my bank. So no credit for watching the add. If all that sounds fun, download and have at it.

Upgrade screws players. Thought it was a fun game, until the last upgrade increased the unit level at which you could 3 boosts on from 15 to 20, which you can only get by buying upgrades in the store - a pure cash grab. Greedy devs ruining another game. Updated comment: in response to the developer reply, I take exception to their statement ”You haven't lost anything, combat power accounting has become fairer and the selection of opponents is more relevant." Combat power accounting has only become fairer to those who spend a lot of money to quickly gain a higher power rating. Before the update I was regularly able to defeat opponents with a power rating two times or more higher than mine because my battle strategy was better than theirs. Now it basically comes down to how much money you spend will generally dictate whether you win, because the strategic element has been substantially reduced. It wouldn’t surprised me that the changes in the latest update arose from complaints from players who’s high level tanks we’re getting defeated by lower level players because they know how to play the game better, so they updated it to make that much harder to do.

Great game, but. Love playing this game, it’s a lot of fun I’ve had it for like 2 or the years now. The only thing I don’t like is that there is an ad after every single attempt at a level. I get it that’s how you make money but it’s just not great for the player experience. I usually play a round and then just close the game right after I win so I don’t get bombarded by the ad. Another thing is. There are some levels that are impossible, and I do mean impossible, if you don’t watch an ad for one of the 3x speed guys. Or the other is by spending lots of money on a leveled up character. Cause I’ve been playing this long and still haven’t unlocked anything stronger than my basic character. And it is a lot of money, they’ll come up with a “deal” sometimes and it’d be like an “epic” character for only 50-70$! I’m just confused. Wish that all my time in the game got me something but at the same time I don’t want it to end up being a cash grab update. So it’s fine how it is, I’m on like level 480 or something. The gems that you get are very valuable as I’ve only probably gotten like 100 if that. But I’ve been saving to open there top chest maybe in just another 3-4 years.

Math skills. This is a mindless game that is entertaining enough to burn though some time. One of the issue is with all the adds that play, even in the middle of your current game. The adds are relentless and can happen upwards of five times per match, and before and after a match. The adds cause glitching, and if you don’t close and restart the game every few matches to clear the cache of the game, you will actually freeze the game and have to restart the game or even your phone. The glitches will also cause your battery to drop off a cliff, while also causing the battery to get super hot. The other item of note is that the game doesn’t know how to add. If you watch an add to triple your coin take for the match it might tell you, you are getting 210 coins while only giving you somewhere near 160 coins. It also, does not multiply the coins properly for instance if I am suppose to be tripling 110 coins I end up with the 210 previously discussed. I don’t pay money to this game, but would question whether I would even get the correct amount.

Fun game, but developers unrealistic.. A god way to kill time if you’re waiting for an oil change ect. Levels are very repetitive, they have about 30 maps that they reuse for all their levels, with different “themes” that you can earn at different levels. Said themes don’t actually change anything beyond the border of the levels. The real hilarity comes with the “upgrades” for different troops and tanks. None of them actually affect the play of the game, and no ability to customize colors or appearance. But the best example of lack of self awareness is the repeated attempts to sell “upgraded” character skins for $150 each. 🤣 They claim “deals” on all of them, so they’re selling for $50, but it’s just hilarious and I’m honestly curious if anyone has actually purchased this. You might be able to sell those skins to dumb kids for $5, but $50 is excessive, hilarious, and pointless when you remember that changing the skin has no effect on playing the game.

Misleading “PvP” Mode. Oh, and ridiculous adds, but enough people gripe about that. No, the devs have a “PvP” mode. Me, being naturally competitive, chose to play and had fun. It immediately thew me into difficult games. It wasn’t until after a good 10 or more matches that I realized something was off. The “players” all have simple names for usernames, they always “connect” exactly on time, and they have, while less so than normal gameplay, predictable playstyles. (For example, AI have a tendency to commit and not change their troop routes.) Oh, and get this: you can go to another app, and the game will be /paused waiting for you/. I wouldn’t mind facing just ai, though a bit more difficult, if it weren’t for the fact that winning just makes the matches more difficult. (Since you get paired against AI with higher lvl troops.) So, you may successfully get trapped in a perpetual loop of upgrading your troops while going against AI whose difficulty ranges from too easy to neigh impossible. I feel bad for anyone who actually invested money into the game in the hopes of doing better in the PvP section of the game.

Love game BUT. EDIT: Well it’s virtually impossible to upgrade without buying packages that cost more than my internet bill…. So unfortunately I cannot afford them. HOWEVER MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT IS THST THERE IS NIT A SINGLE FREE FEMALE ICON TO REPRESENT ME IN THIS GAME. Thanks a lot game creators, yet again taxing woman just to be woman. I’ve really been enjoying this game and I’ve been playing it for a couple weeks now and it’s very fun. However, I’ve run into a point where I can’t seem to upgrade any of my characters unless I buy tokens and then there doesn’t seem to be anyway, to just gain them Through other means. I enjoy games like this, but if the only way I can progress is by paying money, I don’t like that if I can have the option of earning it or paying money usually I do pay the money, but if I’m forced to pay the money I usually quit the game eventually cause that seems greedy

fun game, but whoever is running it is weird.. I really enjoy this game. maybe too much. there were a lot of ads for a while but i turned it off of cellular so i didn’t get any. Then at some point i guess i bought something that stopped the popup ads. Yay! but almost every in app purchase (besides whichever one i randomly bought) is like $50. like they want you to pay $99 for an imaginary tank that i guess is really powerful, but who would pay that amount? and they’re pretending it’s discounted from $250. like unbelievably overpriced. $11-$20 to buy a single battlepass. i guess I'm grateful because i probably would’ve ended up buying a lot in this game if the options were cheaper. but why did they do that to themselves? they’d make a lot more money if they lowered the price barrier by 80%. again, the game is really fun, engaging, and has three options for gameplay and different ways to level up. maybe a lot of the other PVP players are bots but who cares. there doesn’t seem to be an option to play with or against friends which would be nice to have but isn’t necessary.

The money grab is hilarious…. This game is enjoyable when you need to mindlessly pass some time. But, once you get past lvl 400 in basic mode it pretty much becomes a massive money grab. All the npc teams use the soldiers and tanks that are locked behind a $100 pay wall, but wait it’s actually on sale from it’s regular $300 price tag 🤣 All other upgrades are $15 - $30 to get purple or higher level items or you can struggle with the horrible rng of the in game treasure chest, which is obviously designed to make you buy the upgrades. Then there is the “pvp” mode which is really just basic mode, because you’re not playing against real people. But, you’re not fighting the beefed up Basic armies. Ads on free games are one thing but, to try to get people to spend $100+ dollars to enjoy a phone/tablet game is ridiculous, especially since the entire game is just player vs cpu/ai. Not like like your playing some tournament mode where you can win a cash prize to recoup the money spent.

If you are stupid, buy their packages. I paid to drop the commercials. And I keep getting advertisements called upgrade package. Somebody seems to think I’m stupid enough to spend $100 to upgrade my troops so I can win every game. Not gonna do it. I haven’t done it and I went 99.9% of the time. This is a strategy game. If you look at it as a strategy game, you will not have to be stupid enough to pay $100 to upgrade your account. I think it’s an insult. I would not pay five dollars for that package. I don’t even think I would pay a dollar you might be able to fool me with $.99 Xbox and PlayStation is much funner and obviously much cheaper. Don’t be stupid don’t waste your money. Don’t complain that you can’t pay your bills if you’re wasting your money on stupid games. However, I do have fun playing it. I just don’t waste money on it.

Great game, little repetitive. I have been playing this game for a while. I paid to remove the ads (not that expensive and totally worth it). The PvP is not really against other players, and now that I am at level 20 gold of pvp, which I had to wait for updates to get higher, the levels repeat. The repeating levels is okay for me since I can learn the faster way to beat them. My issues are: I have a ton of coins and nothing to spend them on, the battle pass came out, but I have no idea what levels mean to progress on it, if it is pvp then I will not be able to progress much since it takes a long time to go up 300 places. And I have almost fully updated all of my guys and tanks so I am missing out on new updates of what happens when you get more ranks with them. I play this game every day and LOVE it. Just needs a few tweaks to get a 5 star. :)

Unfair Gameplay. Besides too many forced ads (after every single battle) and pop ups selling currency or gameplay items, the most frustrating aspect of this game is that it increasingly uses its for-sale characters and machines (that you can purchase for $100 or more). I get that the developers want to make money, but sending out $100 characters and machines during regular gameplay and challenges makes the game not worth playing. I should be able to feel that I can progress in regular gameplay and challenges without buying the items that cost $100 or more ($100 is for a single item). For regular gameplay, the game will randomly use its for-sale items, which causes me to have to frequently restart the game. For challenges, it consistently uses for-sale items in order to make each challenge impossible to pass without spending money. It doesn’t stop there, though. If you want to progress in the game and do buy the items, it then costs more money in order to upgrade those characters and machines to the level that the game uses to make quite a few regular levels and challenges impossible to complete and pass.

The game is fun but the ads are insane. I really enjoyed this game but the ads are super annoying. Every time a game ended I just quickly closed the app and reopened. This way of playing sounds more annoying then it actual is. You’re not playing against actual people so if you play often you start remembering the patterns the bots use. It is repetitive but still fun. I ended up deleting this game. When I was playing this evening the app made this warning sound. It sounded like a lower volume amber alert so the first time it happened I thought I was getting some sort of alert. When I closed the app the sound went away and couldn’t find any sort of notification on my phone. Then I reopened it again and my next instinct is this app is about to access my phone remotely but I thought I was over reacting. So, I tried it one more time and knew I’d delete if that sound came back. Sure enough, it happened again. I would tread lightly with this app. The game is cool but now I have no trust in it on my phone.

If you LOVE ads, this is the game for you!. Ad before you start the game. Ad before you finish the level. If you take too long to finish the level, guess what… you got it, another ad. Then, when you finish the level they ask if you want 3 times the useless gold (I’ll get to that) for watching another ad. You might as well watch the ad, for the gold that you can’t use on anything, because you’re going to be watching an ad anyway. I’d rate this game 0 stars if I could. But it is kind of ok. It would pass the time much better if it weren’t for the bombardment of ads. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because I’m sure there is some algorithm that somehow cancels out 1 star reviews. There is no way this game would have over 4 stars if that weren’t the case. Keeps repeating the same levels over and over. Did I mention having to watch a plethora of ads? Definitely not worth 2 stars.

Unable to compete for free. Like most games with thousands of downloads, this game is really fun. There are several game modes that keep you interested, and the upgrade system is fair and comprehensible. Unfortunately, like most games, the paid players have attributes that become impossible to compete with. The only recourse is to play for hours, lose, and then drop to a lower tier. This must be repeated weekly, because each time you win a game, you get bumped up to better players who have paid for increased attributes. Perhaps an option to play against a mirror version of your own skills would alleviate this problem, but as is, there is no way to compete as a free player. Update: after the developer responded, I continue to stand by my review. The game is a great idea, and initially fun to play. However, paid players Nate the game and there is no opportunity for free players to do anything but lose.

Great game, horrible and money hungry reward system.. This is a really fun and well developed game that I’m glad I came back to following the updates and new gameplays. It’s a lot of fun and fairly addictive but the effort and time put in are in no way rewarded by the developers. The cost for in game purchases are ridiculously high for the quantity and even quality of items you would receive in any other games and other developers. A $50 spend will get you a single legendary unit that can be revived through random rolls, and a few coins that are easily collected in standard play ( the fact that you can get a legendary unit through normal means is the saving grace of this game!!!). For that amount of spend, most other games provide several different items of high value and even give additional gifts and rewards for spending that much. The reward ranking system is poorly thought through and executed - as you rank higher your rewards stay the same as if you were in the lowest ranking. I really enjoy this game but if things aren’t changes to better reward the user, there’s no doubt it will begin to lose players. I personal spend a good amount on mobile games per month and would gladly do the same in this game of it was worth it! I hope this catches the attention of the developers and makes you consider your users. You’ll make more revenue from happy customers who are validated and rewarded for spending their time and money on your products.

Mostly fun. Early on in the game, you need to earn lots of coins to upgrade your troops and tanks. The random “summon a unit” is definitely stacked against you as can be seen in the “odds” displayed in the information box. Later in the game, you need crystals (rubies, jewels) in order to upgrade and summon. Once past the beginning levels, coins are basically worthless, you need 4 or 5 units summoned to upgrade and then cash is used for 1 level and then you need 4 or 5 more summons to be able to upgrade again. To get to the highest powers, it is obviously a PAY TO WIN scenario! If there was a way to use coins to buy crystals, there MIGHT be a chance for free to play person to get ahead. To even attempt to gain more crystals, you must watch a bunch of ads and even then the “random” rewards lean toward coins! I have been playing daily for about a month, but am about to delete the game…at least the grandkids are enjoying the early levels on their tablet. But they will get frustrated once they get to my level!

Can’t recommend. The game at it’s base is fun and not very difficult, just something mindless to pass time on a flight, and they have events to give players challenges to work towards. But there are TONs of adds in this game blocking you from anything (Even starting a new level). I got the $4.99 ad blocker and there are still a ton of ads. Apparently you have to buy the permanent NO ADs package AND become a VIP $5-10 a week to have all ads removed, what a ripoff. On top of the ads, the rewards in the game are minuscule. I’ve been grinding all week (only watching necessary ads because I don’t like watching 3 mins of ads after every 60 second level) and still can’t afford the 600 gem chest I want to try since you only get 5 or so gems at a time, and they are Rare or higher drops…unless you purchase them of course.

Money Grab. The game is decent enough, however, unless you plan on investing hours upon hours of grinding to gain any sort of upgrade, be prepared to spend hundreds on units and upgrades. Past a certain point, all enemies you face have all mythic units that are completely maxed out in stats. Thats 300 dollars worth in units, 100 a piece. Upgrades require an exponential amount of resources every level, at least 200 per unit, thats not even to max it out. So far, I have yet to see a mythic unit drop from a summoning, I imagine you can only get a unit right below them, being gold. The game is decently fun, but understand that to actually experience any sort of progress, you must spend at least a few hundred dollars, or grind for hours a day, every day, just to gain maybe one percent in power output (and no mythics). Currently on level 1174, all gold units at level 25 each. The cap is 50, with every five levels requiring specialty mats (which cost 50 dollars), or grinding out summoning at least a few hundred units. A summon costs 25 diamonds, most drops of diamonds come at around 3-5. Game is fine, if you want to keep playing after 30 minutes, understand youre going to have to spend at least 500 dollars to have a decent experience, or maybe spend half a year grinding, just so that you are almost half as powerful as every enemy.

Excellent gameplay, excessive adds. I really like the gameplay and graphics of the game. However, the adds are extreme. When the add time exceeds the gameplay, it’s really bad. I understand you need to make money, but this is beyond bad and greedy. Adds even interrupt the gameplay. I paid $5 to remove the adds, they ONLY stopped the adds that interrupted the game. Once a round is finished, you can choose to see an add for additional rewards or not, but if you choose not, there is only another add that might be slightly shorter. I don’t know how much longer I can stand it. Why would I spend one more cent if the volume of adds don’t subsidize anything. INSANE, extremely disappointing. Incredible how every review I read mentions the same thing, excessive ads, but you double down on the need for ads to continue to offer the game. Really take a look at who’s at the helm, they appear to be business ONLY oriented. I’m sorry, but if you need this massive amounts of ads to stay afloat, then you should really reconsider your business model because it’s not working. Big props to the developers because it is very entertaining to play.

Ad machine. Prior to the latest update (shortly before Thanksgiving 2021) I would have given this game 4 out of 5 stars. It’s fun and some levels are challenging, but there haven’t been any new levels added in forever. But now I give it 2 stars, because the number of ads has pretty much tripled and the daily challenges have been removed. I used to get one ad during gameplay and one ad between levels, but now I get as many as 3 ads during gameplay and still get the one between levels. For some of the easier levels, you spend more time watching ads than completing the level. Unacceptable. Since this game could be really fun, I’m holding off on deleting it hoping the developers will come out with a new update with some decent improvements. But if that doesn’t happen, it’ll definitely get deleted. JAN 2022 UPDATE: I lowered my rating to one star. This game has way too many ads. It’s no longer fun at all, and the developers don’t seem to care. Deleted. JAN 9, 2022 UPDATE: I received a response from the developer saying they reduced the number of ads and asking me to give them another try. I re-downloaded the game, and so far I am happy. I increased my rating to 4 stars, since it remains to be seen whether daily challenges or new levels have also been added. It’s glad to see the developers appear to be listening.

Too many ads. I’ve been playing this game for awhile now and tbh, it’s really fun, but there are way too many ads to make it an overall enjoyable experience. No exaggeration, but when you spend more time watching ads than you do actually playing the game, something needs to change. Beat a level? Watch an ad. Playing a level? Watch 1-3 ads. Want to x3 your gold at the end of a level? Watch an ad. At least give us an ad free option for a small fee, myself as well as many other people would probably be happy to pay it. Edit: They have included a “no ads” option for a price, which I gladly paid. However, if you want to x3 your troops or x3 your gold at the end of the level, you STILL have to watch an ad, which is extremely frustrating and annoying. If I’m paying money for “NO ADS” I expect there to be NO ADS.

The ads & volume. My biggest complaint is that the game is full of ads that do not abide by the same settings as the game. So if I have my settings set to silent, the ads still blare through the speakers. I can’t even play my own music while I play, the game constantly pauses it & the ads take over. Even if I don’t want to watch an ad for extra points or rewards, they play anyway & I can’t exit out of it. I’m stuck watching the whole ad anyway WITHOUT THE REWARD. The ads are the biggest problem w/ the game. I thought about possibly spending the money to get it without ads, but the game still glitches & shuts off my music, so it wouldn’t be worth it. The side mission games also glitch. They will say “no internet connection.” Other than all of those issues, the game isn’t bad. I use it to unwind.

Its a great game, and AD free payment worked!. UPDATE Sept 2023: The latest update gives the computer/pvp players two super units you have to pay $200 to get otherwise certain levels are near impossible to beat it in. Im sorry but basically making the game strategy nil and only viable through buying $200 units is ridiculous. Ive loved this game until now. Greedy developer. Older: For once I paid for ad free game play and it worked!! Sure, can still choose to watch an ad at the end of each match for extra rewards but you don't have to. Ive enjoyed the game as a quick mental break for several months now. Still love it. Note I dont think the PvP is real pvp. I think you still play against the computer, but I enjoy it. I do miss watching all my men file through the towers after you win a level. Now they disappear. Please bring that back! :) Update: I seem to have maxed the ranking ladder at Lvl9 Gold, 1st place. Seeing the 2-6 place scores/names…it definitely is not real pvp.

Can’t play anymore. I literally can’t play anymore. I lost all 3 of my lives (very stupid concept) and they 59 minute timer doesn’t move and when I try to watch an ad it says as unavailable…. So I literally can’t play even if I wanted to. Revert this update…. Lives are so stupid you’re stopping people from playing your game. I’m on level 1015 so I’ve been playing this game for a LONG LONG time but this update has made me want to quit. Considering I can’t even play I probably will…… I’ve read all these reviews and every single one is saying this new update is horrible so my question is why not just revert?? I see you respond to everyone’s comments but don’t give me some political answers. Just answer to everyone why you won’t revert your updates Update: still can’t play….. after 1000 levels and over 12 hours of playin this will be deleted. If you don’t want us playing your game just say it lol but this new life system is HORRIBLE

It’s pay to win now. Pvp is nearly impossible to advance above a certain level unless you spend 50 bucks on advanced troops and tanks. You can still get a win in here and there, but if the other person knows what they are doing you’re cooked. There is no reasonable way to get those troops without paying. I’ll spend a few dollars here and there but there are no mobile games worth spending 50 bucks, let alone 100. I don’t know if the same people who spend that are also sending money to a Nigerian prince, but it’s a pretty stupid way to spend money. It gets 2 stars because it’s fun to play. Just wish you could continue to advance without paying large sums of money. Edit: finally gave up and deleted the app. When I have an optimal setup and 8 of 10 towers and I still can’t win, there’s no point in frustrating myself even further. The fake PvP always has op weapons that you can’t overcome regardless of strategy.

Towero?. There are several facets to the game that make it enjoyable, such as the tanks and artillery that are better than just standard units. The skills are I’m sure a fine idea but they build so slowly and cost so much that I didn’t notice their effect and didn’t feel the need to invest enough to upgrade the equipment until it made a difference. Everything in the game is comically overpriced. You could drop $100 easy and get the same benefit from just watching an add for a 3x boost. Devs please note that the takeaway should be to lower the prices, not nerf the ad bonus. If I could spend say $3 on the regular for a new unit that made a difference or item that would change the gameplay, I’d still be playing, but when the 10th ad in the last three levels plays and is followed by an in game ad to buy a $50 unit, then I’m out. That would be an interesting experiment. Is it easier to get a whale to pay $50 or a larger user base to pay $2? Also fix yo battle pass. First off it’s silly at $20. again, $3 I’d pay and have in some games. Second, I got a weekly goal to unlock 10 levels and then the pass just stopped accumulating points. No regular, pvp, or secret missions mattered. No opening chests or spending gold or gems helped. It just plain stopped working.

Overheats phone, laggy, ads. I work in software development and usually wouldn’t mind paying a few dollars for a game. I want to support developers. At first they tell you the game is $10. Then it’s $7. Then it’s $5. If the game is $5, just say it’s $5. The pricing is shady. But my biggest concern, and why I wouldn’t pay for this and deleted it off my phone, is how my phone gets OVERHEATED playing this! I’ve never had a game make my phone so hot. I had to take my case off. The longer I played the slower the game got. I had to restart the game every 1-2 levels because it would become so laggy and freeze. And of course the quantity and timing of ads is the worst I’ve ever seen. I understand they need to make money, but… an ad every 30 seconds and interrupting the already short levels? And for what? The visuals are basic and the game is unstable. There is no story line. What are our payments doing to continuously improve the game? It’s unfortunate because the game concept is fun, but this feels very much like a cash grab.

Beyond excessive ads. Don't waste your time. The game's decent. It plays about as you'd expect. It's more capture the flag than tower defense but it's a good amount of features and strategy. There is an utter and complete lack of instructions, tutorials, or explanations on any more advanced features and strategies. But that can be fun in of itself if you are hardcore into strategy. The pvp is surprisingly enjoyable as well until you get stifled by how over equipped and leveled your opponents are. Still, I've had my fair share of ad fueled free to play games but this one really tops it off with aggressive absurdity. At times, you can't even claim normal mission rewards without watching a video ad. Other times it's an optional watch a video ad to 2x your reward, except if you say skip you watch an ad anyway. And the game is built to be crazy resource heavy so those 2x rewards are essentially mandatory or else you'll get stuck. Game devs need to chill. Don't even give this game a chance. It's just a waste of time

Constantly crashes with no support. This game WAS great and was a lot of fun to play until around three days ago. After the last game update, the game won’t even open now. Despite sending two “support tickets”, I’ve gotten no response from the developers and no assistance recovering the game. Sadly I had just made significant in-game purchases and I’m afraid if I delete the game and reinstall it, I’ll lose all progress and my purchases. No customer support whatsoever. Download at your own risk EDIT!!: Reading several other recent (within the last week) reviews, it’s obvious the crashing issue is affecting everyone. Also obvious from reading the developer responses is the fact that they neither care nor do they have a decent grasp of the English language. And as I suspected, many people have dumped the app, downloaded it again, and lost all progress, purchases, and are having to start all over again. What a total waste of time and money.

Ads will take up the majority of your time. The concept and play of the game are fun themselves. But the ADDDSSS! So many it’s unbelievable. There’s an before during and after each level. Sometimes there will be two ads during the level. Each ad is around 10 seconds (5 second video + 5 second interactive ad) and most of the times you try to close or click out of it to get back to your game it will automatically redirect you to the AppStore. Also, when you have an ad in the middle of the game, you can expect to return to the game having gone on without you. If each level is on average 30 seconds you will spend as much time watching ads as playing the game. If you play 10 levels you can expect to sit through about 5 minutes of ads. Probably the worst ad experience I’ve ever had because I really do like the game but I will be deleting it because it’s mind numbing seeing the same puzzle ads over and over again.

PVP isn’t real. So I like the game, I bought the game and it is a fun time killer. But PVP is absolutely fake, I started a PVP game and my iPad popped a message that it wanted something and actually paused the game. You can start a game and minimize the app and come back and it is right where you left off. Then they try to sell you tanks and Characters at ridiculous prices because of power, but I don’t see any change in combat. In fact I stopped upgrading my stuff 2 tiers ago in pvp and am matched with “people” twice my power and mow them down when if the game actually increased a tank it should be able to double my power it should run over my half powered tanks, unless you have to be more double the strength but how would that match be paired. To confusing and false advertising about pvp. Yes other people have pointed out they seem to be bots, and every player puts their name up? No creative names? Someone got lazy in the end, nice touch not letting pvp game start without Wi-Fi though. The ads are the reason I bought the game to play without interruptions so could have fun, the Lies are the reason for poor review.

Too many ads and freezing. I would really LOVE to give this game a 5 star review, as it is the only one I have found like this that does not repeat levels, and also it gives a lot of new content. I truly love this game, BUT, there are anywhere from 2-5 ads during the game itself, not to mention another one after the game. I’m all for the ads, and I get you can pay to remove the ads, but there are just too many during the game. And the ads sometimes cause the game to freeze, and you have to start the level over. It is very frustrating, and makes you not want to play. Also, I all for ads, BUT there is one ad that is NOT appropriate for kids. It’s a shame that you would support them by having their ad in the game. Showing women half dressed, and the worst is for Kings Castle, or something with Kings, showing stars over women’s nipples. It makes me feel like I’m looking at something I shouldn’t. If you would watch your content before allowing them to have an ad in your game, that would be great. Also, lower the ads during the game to maybe 1, and I’d be happy with that. Too many ads for sure, and about to delete it, but I have to say it is a GREAT game, so props to whomever created it!!!

Love the game!!!. I really enjoy playing already although I’m only a little way in. I’m having some medical issues at the moment so this has been fun since I haven’t really been able to do much. I love the fact that I can play offline (Australian internet is horrible) and how I can upgrade the little soldiers and tanks and stuff. Definitely gonna show this game to some of my mates. I know alotta people who’d love it! Keep up the good work!

Ads Simulator. Game concept is simple and fun, but there are way too many ads. The ads last longer than each stage so this might as well be an ads simulation. Played the first 15 levels and I’ve spent more time watching ads than actually playing. Ads also appear during the level, disrupting play. The daily chest encourages purchases from the shop. There is an option to pay to remove ads, but I do not feel this game is worth $15 to play without ads. Best to spend your time and money elsewhere unless you like watching ads.

This used to be a fantastic game. … until the developer got greedy and introduced the 2 “super-units”. Priced them at $100 each (apparently a GREAT VALUE discount from their usual price of $300 LOL), made them ridiculously overpowered, and made it so the computer opponents always get them. You basically hit a paywall at a certain point and have to shell out $200 if you want to continue playing. “No ads feature”? Lies, you’ll be watching plenty of ads to get the triple-spawn boosts to get past these new super units. Pathetic and disappointing.

Too many ads to even play. I don’t mind ads but when they impact the ability to play the game enough to actually see if I want to purchase it, it’s not worth it. I’m not going to pay $10-$16 for a game that I’m not sure if I like and the ads interrupt game play so often that the game is infuriating, glitchy and slow. I was getting an ad every 30-60 seconds which is just unnecessary and they were full videos and required at least 4 exit clicks to carry on playing. I kinda like the game I think but I will be deleting it instead of buying it because the ads are too excessive to get a good play to try it out. With this many ads you are losing money, not making it. BYE!!!!!

Add removal does nothing. Adremoval cost $16and even with that the ads aint perm stopped only durirng game play not between levels which makes it impossible to want to continue or play the game removing some but not all ads for isn't worth the $16 you get charged for ad removal since it does NOT remove all of them which the feature will do with lots of Other games had high hopes for this game but all the ads and no way to remove all of them makes the game pointless unless you like adds before and after every level and durirng game play

Good game but bad at restoring purchased items. Game is kept interesting and good to play off line but having issues restoring purchased items. Spent a $100 on a Heavy tank trooper and tried restoring the item several times over but have not received the purchase item back. I would like the developer to help me out with this issue due to the game crashing a lot resulting in myself deleting the game and redownloading to get rid of any bug issues. But losing my purchase items I would like them restored in the game

Did Love It. I did love this game as a way to stop my brain going every way but Sunday every night for 30 minutes and for that and the strategy component, it was great. What turned me off was when I got a new iPad, reinstalled the game, logged in and found that I had lost all Commando’s and Tank’s that I had purchased. Not only this, but restoring purchases does nothing. So disappointed, please fix this Developers.

Way too many ads now. Back when I downloaded the app originally, there were very few ads but now it will often stop multiple times during a stage(which only takes a couple of minutes max) for an ad break. I understand ads are required but they need to limit it to one per stage or something along those lines.

Great game!. A great game with a reasonable amount of ads (ads are after each level and are not stupidly long). This is a firm favourite of mine, due to lots of different things to do on the game and most importantly I can play without having to use ads to level up. Thanks for a great game!

Give people a chance to play the game!. The title refers to 2 bad parts of the game. To start off with you do not even get through the first level and they’re asking for a review so that’s just ridiculous. Secondly the amount of advertisements during game play in phenomenally bad. I don’t mind an add at the end of a round or possibly one and I mean one during the game play but multiple every single round is ridiculous and just greedy. The game is good and I really enjoy it otherwise. But will delete soon as adds are just getting too bad.

Expensive. A great game, but ultimately frustrating unless you’re willing to pay the exorbitant prices for updates. Progress ridiculously slow for those not willing to pay, but it is too expensive for what you get, and I seemed to be continuously matched against maxed out bots in the PvP mode. A great time waster for a short while, but not long term!

Enjoyable enough, but nowhere near 4.2 stars. I have played this games for a week or 2 now. I actually enjoy the majority of the game play and the PvP battles are good. As it stands I have nearly $15k in gold coins but can’t spend them on anything- until I spend actual money. There is no way to progress properly without paying real money. The ads throughout are really bad. Sometime you only have to watch half an ad and other times you have to watch a full ad. Most of the time you’ll spend watching ads instead of playing, I’d say likely 60% ads, 40% gameplay. Despite the ads and the need to spend money it’s a great game. The stages become flat and very very easy, basically they’re only there to feed you more ads. They become that basic. It certainly has the potential for a 3-5 star rating and can be addictive but at this stage it’s not.

Fun little game TOO Many Ads. The game itself is fun, if a little repetitive. The update notes are misleading in that you can’t buy new weapons. You can change the back drop but that’s it. But the worst thing is the ads. Way too many and as another review has mentioned they pop up during game play rather than between levels. If there was more variety perhaps some power ups to purchase with in game rewards and an option to remove ads then I would pay for the game. The ads ruin it otherwise!

Good game ruined by incessant ads. Actual gameplay is quite fun however you’ll spend more time watching ads than actually playing the game. At the end of each level, you’re offered to either watch an ad to 3x your reward or skip. Either way you watch an ad so better off just getting the 3x. Ads go for way too long as well.

Money Hungry. Have had this game for a while, it was a good game until the developers became more money hungry, you can plan a few levels at a time until the computer opponent has fully upgraded defenders that are impossible to beat unless you are willing to pay ridiculous amounts to get the same upgrades, the same levels are just recycled, no longer a strategy game more of a money pit game!

BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!! MUST GET. This is the best game ever. There are like no adds it’s fun but not to addicting and you don’t have to have premium for anything basic And you can unlock cool skins You can also win like premium for free for an hour so good get this game

Love it!. I love Tower defence style games, but I always complete the game after 50 levels or so but with this game im currently on 3052! How many levels are there? Its my main go-to game of all time on my phone

No internet = Genuine fun. Seeing a LOT of hate being dumped on this game for an unnecessary amount of ads. Big brain time, turn your internet off you dimwits! Without that the game is playable, but most importantly FUN. It’s a fun game and I like the concept of different building that breaks the static gameplay.

Game’s good but…. It is easy to skip ads in most games. Just shut down after the single game ends, then start again… but this game puts ads in the middle of your games. Screen goes dark a white coffee mug with steam coming off it appears and you are stuck in an ad. Happened twice and I deleted. Isn’t it enough to ram ads down our throats after each 30 second game? Do we really need to be disrupted right in the middle of it.

Too Many Ads! That 1 star should be a no star!. This game is great! Love the tank and the bombing plane idea….. but that’s where my love for this game ends!!!!! An ad before you start a level, an ad each time a tower is taken over and ad just because! Most levels you get a minimum of 3 “ad breaks”! But they aren’t simple 5 second ads, they are the ads that play for 5 seconds, you hit the x and it takes you to a download page, you hit cancel, another 5 seconds plays, you hit the x again and it goes to another page for the ad where it takes about 3-5 seconds to load a x to press then you get to go back to the game! So they are like 20second ads by the end of it! And that’s not counting the times I’ve had to close the app and reopen it coz it’s stuck on the ad where you hit the x and it goes to the download page you hit cancel and the x again and it goes back to the download page and it does this over and over and over! Because there are so many games out there similar to this that don’t have as many ads, I will be deleting this game very soon if it’s not fixed and the ads are brought under control! I’ve bought many pleasurable games in the past and this is so far in no way fun when you spend more time trying to close ads than actual gameplay, as once you get through the levels they repeat, another reason not to spend money on a game Ive completed on a free version! Would give a 0 star rating if it was an option!

Good game play but the adds. This game is over all a good but there is a problem with the adds. After matches you get the option to watch an add for more coin and if you decline the offer it still give you an add. I get they have sponsors and need to show people more adds but still kind of stupid.

WAS a great game. This was an awesome game. Spent many hours playing it. Since the latest update it has become very much a pay-to-win game. $150 to get the strongest character (which seems to be the only way to get it) and without it you are unable to defeat the classic game challenges in one go which means you can’t fulfil some of the daily achievements to earn gems cash and other things to be able to upgrade. Think I will be uninstalling now.

Good Game. I love the game. It’s a good fun game to fill in time. You don’t need to spend any money if you don’t want to (I did to get the add free version, only because I hate watching adds, but there weren’t a lot of adds any way) The level can sometimes get a little repetitive, but overall there’s a good mix of easy, medium and hard levels. The PVP tournaments is to long. You start at spot 300 and so many points and have to get to 1st place. Every time you win you score points, but sometimes it might only be 20 points and it can take 2/3 days of playing many many rounds each day to get to 1st place. I really think you either need to start people off at a lower spot (200 or even 100) or we get more points each time we win. Now with the new battle pass season (which I love) but you have to collect stars to advance and it’s getting almost impossible to gain all the stars need to collect the rewards. I’m at level 28 and there is no way I’ll get to level 59 in the next 16 days when I have to collect 150 stars to advanced. This really needs to be looked, as it’s just not achievable even with spending the money to skip 10 levels. Also when you summon units, the chances of getting a higher card is so slim it’s almost impossible. In all the times I’ve summoned a unit I have got 2 gold cards.

Way too many ads. While the game seems fun and a decent strategy challenge as the levels get harder, being forced to watch so many ads every single level is annoying. More time sitting & watching ads (with “choice” whether to watch like other games), no way to cancel, hardly any actual game play. Don’t you lot realise yet - less ads + choice to watch or cancel = more players who stay. While I’m sure it’s nice income for you, it’ll only be short term, so you keep smashing those ads in people’s faces & you’ll never get a solid loyal player base… who by the way end up paying money on the games that give what the player wants…. Choice, and playing the actual game! Game deleted.

Tired of being bombarded with ads. This game would be absolutely amazing if you weren’t bombarded with ads. Even when you select No Thanks to “rewards for watching ad” you still have to watch an ad. I spent more time watching betting ads than I did play time. No wonder there are so so many gambling addicts. You can’t get away from them. This game is aged for young kids, however the ads are gambling or casino based. So not cool.

It’s ok, fake PVP though. Unplayable if connected to the internet. This game is ok for something you play on the toilet. You would have to be crazy to spend the ridiculous amount of money they ask for to gain nothing useful at all. Spend much much less money and buy a real game on a real console not a phone. This game doesn’t get any harder, upgrades are not worth opening the page for. The fake PVP works when your not connected to anything so that’s also a waste of time. It’s ok. Shame it doesn’t get harder. The false sense of achievement and time pressure when you move up ranks is almost like reading spam emails. If this game was 50 cents I’d say buy it but they want tonnes of money. The free version has lengthy ads if connected to the internet (don’t do that) they want a fortune to remove them lol No.

Could be fun. If it weren’t for being required to watch ads periodically through levels and after every single stage regardless if you want the bonus coins or not. Incessant ads like this make for a game quickly deleted. I don’t mind having to watch an ad after a while of playing or being able to opt out for bonus rewards if that’s all it is. This level of advertising forces users to endure constant ads or pay for the removal of ads.

Ripped off.. The game is great, but the ads are crazy. Then you came up with the option to buy the ad free version, so then it’s great again. But no, you couldn’t leave it that way. Now you get 3 lives only. It’s unfair that you pay to remove ads but now have to watch ads to play any more than 3 games. Come on be realistic. If people pay then let them play, uninterrupted.

Crashing.. Love the game. So do the kids. Only problem at present is that it won’t load and crashes. Been happening since new update. But love the game.

I love this game!. I love this game so much because of the fun and not to repetitive gameplay. I read a lot of your reviews and saw many negative ones mostly because of your ads and I see you have really considered those and make the ads less common and I’m really happy about that. I especially like the plane bombers and the factory ones. I’m only early in the game but I’m loving it so far. Please keep up the good work

Great game, but …. Game is really fun. Fast paced strategy, with quick dynamic matches. Variety of game modes too, including. PvP and arena. The ads are reasonably easy to get rid of, I think it was around $7 AUD. However, once your troops reach level 15, there is no way to further develop your troops without buying packs (at least I have not found any). At that point your power will be at around 3500. Content will become increasingly more difficult. Trying to beat people in PvP with 10k+ is not fun (they simply overpower). Thank you dev team, I had fun, but will removing the game for now…

Too many ads. Great game! I used to play it all the time. Decided to redownload it again, but after every single match there is an ad! Without a doubt after completing a match there is guaranteed an ad. It makes it extremely annoying! I get that ads need to be in the game to keep it afloat due to it being free, but it doesn’t need this many ads.

Soooo much better!!. So much better since having option to remove some of the ads!!! The game is much more enjoyable. It would now be great to add a pause button so you can pause battles and I’d also love to be able to choose who to drop the bombs on rather than just the biggest enemy!!

Good game, too many ads. I get it, you need to make money, but playing ads mid-game is incredibly frustrating. Before and after rounds is totally fine and I’ll happily wait it out, but when I’m mid game and need to be paying attention to what’s happening (especially in PVP) it really ruins gameplay when you have to wait 30 odd seconds for the ad to be over. Often times I’ll be in the lead but I get a mid game ad and by the time I’m back I’m losing. Really annoying and taints the game

Repetitive. The game is great, but once you’ve reached a certain level, there’s no new levels! The old levels are just used again. Last week there were brand new levels with different layouts and new features in the game, but after a couple of days of those, I’m now back to repeating the same old levels again. I also noticed that the images shown in the App store for the game are showing game play that I’ve never seen.. Is there going to be more content/new layouts/something different coming soon??

has become a pay to win nightmare. Used to be fun, even knowing the PvP games were against bots. Now can’t win anything as every opponent has the top soldiers and tanks (that you can buy for an eye watering amount) and just roll over you. It’s not helped by the gross mismatch of power in PvP matchups. I’m punching around 13k strength and I’m regularly pitched against opponents with more than twice that. It’s a shame. This used to be fun.

Fave game!. Ok this is my most fave game I play it all the time! But annoyed that it’s now 5 hours between free keycards in the challenge tower! And it resets to 5 hours if you use gems for a keycard! Considering how much it costs to buy anything in the game I think the 3 hours between was plenty! And not resetting if you use gems! Otherwise best game hands down!

Decent game, gets repetitive. Overall, a fun game. However, there are a lot of negatives after a couple of weeks of playing. Levels start to get repetitive. Also the additional ads you can watch to earn freebies rarely work for me. Just ones to a black screen and never loads. PvP is way too long to win. Barely ever get anything special through chests and summoning items, which makes it hard to upgrade after a while.

Frustrated. Have been playing this game for a couple of months. Would love to buy stuff from the shop but the game keeps telling me there is no internet connection. There definitely is!!!!! Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no effect. This is the only game I am currently playing where this is a problem. Can’t understand - I want to spend money but cannot.

Fraudulent but Fun. This game is fun but the Player Vs Player is just you against the computer, don’t believe me then turn off all data and play the game, PvP works fine. Also while playing PvP I noticed players with superior upgraded tanks and soldiers, have no actual advantage, as several times we got stuck in a dead draw that I let play for 8 hours while I slept. So when the developer is charging people $80-$100 for certain high level tanks and soldiers, there is no actual battle advantage. Also, as you’re playing a computer in PvP there is no clout for having those expensive units.

Unplayable. I really love the concept but I can’t play a game without being interrupted by ads in the middle of it. I don’t care if they are at the beginning or end, but when they just pop up in the middle of trying to make a move it’s so frustrating. So disappointed as it would be amazing if there weren’t the interruptions mid game.

Infuriating. I’ve downloaded 100’s of apps and this is the first one I’ve even actually bothered to leave a review on. With that being said, it’s not because it’s a 5 star game. It could be with just a simple tweak… not having ads popup every 15 seconds. Most annoying app I’ve EVER downloaded for sure. Don’t bother playing unless you love watching ads 95% of the time. It’s beyond a joke. & from what I’ve read even if you pay to remove ads it’s only during gameplay, not during levels which only take about 30 seconds to play. So even if you pay you’re still watching ads half the time…

Ads ads ads ads ads ads ads ads ads. You finish a level. Here’s your 30 second long unstoppable ads. You try to tap the bottom of the screen. Ooops you’ve activated your 30 second long unstoppable ad card. Oh but don’t worry, if you think loaded in will be nice. Nope you get an ad every 4th time you long in just to comfort you along your way. Will never re download or even come close to recommending this game to anyone ever till I die.

Worst update yet. Please revert back the changes to before this update, it’s now hard to complete the resource centre challenges with the enemy power being so high - which is almost impossible to even get upgrades to get higher without spending hundreds of dollars and when summoning a unit, you never get a yellow to be able to eventually upgrade the base equipment. And 10 PVP levels on daily quests now? It’s like you’re deliberately trying to prevent advancing in the game without spending ridiculous amounts of money.

Good games if you are willing to pay. Unless you are willing to pay real $$$ progressing in the game is near impossible. Any event is impossible to complete without paying real $$$. And developer is really lax in fixing bugs. It’s been a week since I reported a bug in the game, which makes it even more impossible to finish the event even if you are willing to spend the real $$$.

Too many ads. Good concept, bit repetitive but the main negative is the the ads, ads after each level and not just quick ads, ads that you need to close 3 different screens to get rid of. Too annoying. Deleted.

Too Many Ads!!!. I’m ok to watch an ad or two to play, but an ad at the start of each level, then one every 20 - 30 seconds and another one when you finally finish the level is absolutely ridiculous! I’m ok with buying a game too if I’m enjoying it to stop seeing ads, but $8.00 (and that’s the discounted price) I don’t think so……. Maybe $2 - $2.50 max. Just another deleted game now.

Shameless money grab with intermittent gameplay.. You spend literally as much, if not more time watching forced ads as you do playing the inane game. 15 seconds of inane gameplay for a 30second ad? Yes please! Mind you, this is right from when you first download the game. They don’t even give you a chance to get into the swing of things first. 5 of these in a row and then they bring up an option to pay $10 to remove ads. Did I mention that $10 was a discount? It’s actually normally $16!! What a bargain!! They even have an in game billboard with constent advertising as you play! Straight in the trash.

Have to spend money. The game has been fun and I was enjoying it, however it gets to a point where in order to level up your troops you have to spend actual money, and there is no option not too. Will be uninstalling the game because of this.

Power seems to be uniform. Playing for quite a while now and the challenge towers are not consistent in the power rating. It makes it tough to get any medals to upgrade units. My power is over 10000 and can’t beat a 1100 power level, which I could previously beat consistently. Wouldn’t spend anytime on this game.

Adds. Good game far to many adds Middle of the game even. Money has little to no relevance

Fun for a while, then I had to delete it.. It was fun for a while, then I had to delete it. It’s clear that when you get to a certain point, it won’t let you win unless you watch a 60sec ad to get a boost. I just can’t do it anymore.

It was Good. They have now added lives for no reason making you stop play after so many times. That and of course ads that interrupt the game are ridiculous. Get rid of the lives and the majority of the ads.

Ads even after paying $$$. I paid to see no ads, however every time I open the game I have to go through and dismiss 10 pop-ups trying to get me to pay more. Some of these pop-ups are non-dismissible meaning I have to tap on a button on them and engage with them. I hope the developers of this game understand that to the consumer an ad is an ad (whether it is a 3rd party or 1st party) and I have paid to get neither. This by any definition is scamming and lying to your clients!!!

Napalm too strong. When in higher levels, the opponents with napalm are too strong and make it near impossible to beat. The game should be scaled back that if I can’t get napalm without spending 100$, then the game shouldn’t get it for its launchers.

Poor play to ad ratio. Kinda fun but you have to watch an ad between every round and I’m pretty sure I’m spending more time watching and playing ads than the game

Ads. For all these people complaining about the amount of ads, if you turn off your wifi or data, you get no ads……

Lags. It’s a good game. I have the ads mostly blocked across my network though. The problem is I’m running it on a brand new iPhone16 and it lags pretty bad, my commands are not registering almost half the time.

Pay to play. Starts off great but at a certain point you need to pay for the red level items to win at anything. And they are super expensive. $129 on sale (its always on sale). I deleted the game when at Christmas you had the chance to win a red level tank. I spent a few dollars and grinded like crazy to get enough snow flakes to get it and I was so close. One day left to get the red tank and they took away the ability to get snow flakes through playing. My only option was to spend money. Such a disappointment. It was almost cruel. Don’t even start unless you like frustration and being squeezed for every penny.

Bug. Good game, exactly what advertised, very addictive but for a while now there’s a lot of bugs; it runs so slow sometimes. Also, the fact that upgrading your soldiers is so hard makes it difficult to play without paying for the really expensive packs

This game is pay to play. The game is fun for a while, but once your soldier and tanks reach level 25 and artillery reaches level 15, you can’t upgrade them with out paying $70 each. With out upgrading you can only play 3 or 4 matches before the system starts matching you with players double or triple your size. Before you reach lever 25/15 the game is fun, but after that the game sucks. I’ve messaged support asking how to delete my account so I can start over and enjoy the game again until I hit level 25/15 again, but support never replies. Going to uninstall all apps by saygames. Update. I have the latest version and nothing has changed. Still a pay to play game.

STOP WITH THE ADS. why so many ads? chill 😭

Lvl 7, so far, so good. I was worried since a lot of the reviews were complaining about excessive ads, but I’m at level 7, been playing for 30 min and so far it’s quite good. It’s an easy game and it’s close to the ads, this is refreshing. I guess as I’m going to play more I qill probably hit a wall or something, this is usually the way these game go, but so far, so good!

Tower War no add war. Extremely disappointed, most games you have the fast path in which you either watch ads or pay cash. And then there’s the slow path which you move up the ranks by playing the game. This is not one of those games. Your hit up with commercials 2 to 3 times every round and when I actually had a conversation with support, they said oh just spend money and buy our items then you’ll do better. It wouldn’t be so bad if the ads were actually relevant, but there is all kinds of garbage and they show you the same thing over, over, and over again.

Pay to win. This is a fun game but after you get to the higher level you pretty much have to pay big dollars, 130$, to win. Thatscwhen I deleted the game

Long time player. I’ve been playing this game already for a couple months and I still really enjoy the different ways of playing this game. Love that I can play it as long or as little as I want to.

Micro transaction hell.. Totally impossible to play and enjoy without forking over money on a frequent basis. You also can’t play for too long in one sitting before the game starts matching you against AI with x2 to x3 your power.

Fun, even for free. A refreshing game that you can enjoy without watching ads or buying anything. At least you have the option not to do either. And, it works (some levels) without wifi too. One of the worst.. This app bombards you with ads, even in the middle of an active game. It’s one thing to ask for a nominal sum to remove the ads, but when they demand $10 to remove the ads, I want to have a decent amount of playing time before I decide to drop that kind of cash for a GAME. The ads seems designed to annoy you into paying the $10 - and they’ve just annoyed me into deleting the game instead.

High price boost. Are you stupid?? Selling cowboy bob for 69$ This is not a game this is a character in the game and it should not be so expensive unless your goal is not to sell any add on at all. Ads Ads Ads. The game is a get rich quick for the developers. Save your time and skip. The game doesn’t get any more challenging but bombards you with ads so you can spend money. It’s 60% ads 40% game play.

Game difficulty keeps changing. Used to be able to complete all 50 challenges but recently, despite only making improvements to my load out, I cannot. Why spend weeks leveling up gear and research only to have those improvements mean nothing..?

Latest update blows. They changed the challenge power requirements to make it significantly harder to get upgrade points, basically forcing you to spend money. More and more pay to play, come on man give us a break

Game ruined by PTW and adds. This is a fun game ruined by pay to win and too many adds. You have no FTP way of levelling your units past 15 unless you pay. This severely handicaps you against any other players and makes it impossible to win PvP, arena, challenges once you make a small advancement. There should be. A way for FTP to grind out the promotion tokens. Gold is meaningless. There is an add required after every level. If you decide to skip the reward and not watch the add you are forced to watch an add anyway for no reward. This severely handicaps you in the race Hawaiian race event to complete 10 basic levels the fastest. Also the levels for the most part are not much of a challenge but great if you just want to mindlessly keep yourself occupied.

Scamers. For the purchase of goods, what was offered is not issued. The developers don't want to return the money (and I didn't demand it) and don't want to give out the goods that were bought.

Pay to win trash. Very repetitive gameplay, filled with ads every 2-3 minutes. CRAZY priced bundles. Devs hide yourself because if I find, you will pay for the fraud you are trying to commit.

Way too many ads. I love this game i was actually on level 1300…. Its gotten better over time & there are so many unique levels but that being said… there are so many ads that it actually ruins the fun and the games function. Almost an ad every 10 seconds…. This is a game that I would have played forever but the ads are too much to bare and seem to be increasing :( the ads cause the game to freeze in the middle of a level and the ads are long enough for you to forget what was happening by the time the game comes back. This would easily be a great game without it. However the amount of money it costs to remove the ads seems waaaayyy too high for the game itself. It is a very very simple game but costs a lot more than games that have way more content by nature. I would never pay the price to remove ads on a game like this so all I can do is stop playing.

Great but FLAWED. I gave it three stars because although I absolutely love this game, it is very flawed! At first it seemed to play very well. I gave it a few days and then I decided to go ahead and buy the option for no ads. As you get into higher level levels and you upgrade your team, including gear that you can equip it with, it’s as if it doesn’t matter. My power is currently over 9000 and yet I lose to someone whose power is 2000. This makes absolutely no sense. Same thing on some of the levels that are not PVP. If it says the enemy power is 2000 and my power is 9000. I should not be losing that round. It’s ridiculous! It feels like it’s just a scam to get you to spend more money. Either fix the game or you’re probably gonna lose a lot of players.

Can’t win anymore. I loved this game until about level 2000. I paid to not have any ads but won’t spend any more money other than that. Now that I’ve gotten this far, the enemy troops are so ridiculously strong that I can’t win anymore, sometimes not even when I watch a video to get the 3X boost. But I don’t want to have to use the boost every time, that defeats the purpose of strategizing. Just feels like cheating. Bummer that I’ve come this far but now either have to spend a TON of money to upgrade my troops, which I won’t, or quit the game. I’m giving it three stars because I really enjoyed it up to this point. Even if I was willing to spend money on upgrades, the ones in this game are way too expensive.

More ads than any other app in the AppStore!. If you love watching ads, this is the “game” for you! And if you really love ads, you’re in for a treat! Not only is there ads between rounds, you can expect up to 4 ads DURING each round! Oh you can pay for “no ads”, but it’s gonna cost you $7. If you don’t buy that within the first 24 hours, it goes up to $10! The game itself is actually fun. They give you a couple rounds in the beginning without so many ads, but by the time you get to the tanks (about 10 rounds in) you’re watching more ads than playing the game. It’s sad actually because if it was just an ad between each round (like almost all other apps) I would give it 5 stars. I get it, devs don’t work for free, no one should. But more ads than gameplay is a no for me. Too bad, because I really like the game!

PVP Mode is Likely Rigged. The game is very fun and extremely addictive (as designed), particularly the PVP tournament mode. The matches are usually short and each time you win your ranking increases. There seems to be thousands upon thousands of other players, yet after about 80 matches you will notice strikingly non-human like patterns in how your “opponents” play the game. I’m almost certain most of the “human opponents” are just bots created within the game to make you feel like you are beating other people i matches. This contributes to the user feeling a dopamine rush after each win, and wanting more, playing match after match until the whole day passes you by. The game is fun, but ultimately after playing for 2 days and spending the $7 to play as free, not worth it. You pay with your soul and your life energy

Constantly crashes with no support. This game WAS great and was a lot of fun to play until around three days ago. After the last game update, the game won’t even open now. Despite sending two “support tickets”, I’ve gotten no response from the developers and no assistance recovering the game. Sadly I had just made significant in-game purchases and I’m afraid if I delete the game and reinstall it, I’ll lose all progress and my purchases. No customer support whatsoever. Download at your own risk EDIT!!: Reading several other recent (within the last week) reviews, it’s obvious the crashing issue is affecting everyone. Also obvious from reading the developer responses is the fact that they neither care nor do they have a decent grasp of the English language. And as I suspected, many people have dumped the app, downloaded it again, and lost all progress, purchases, and are having to start all over again. What a total waste of time and money.

Too many ads!. This game has so many ads that they’re actually LOSING money! If they’d had half as many ads, I’d have played every day for a month or more. Instead I played for maybe half an hour, then uninstalled the app. One forced ad after every 5-10 levels and optional ads for rewards when there is a natural pop up anyway should result in MORE ad revenue due to the increase in play time and player retention. From what I managed to do in that time, I’d say this is probably a 4 star game - IF they get the ads to a manageable level. Oh, and on top of the intrusive ads, the ALSO have banner ads on every screen! If you have banner ads anyway, then forced ads should be one every 15 minutes or more, with optional ads that ONLY play when the player chooses to watch them.

If you are stupid, buy their packages. I paid to drop the commercials. And I keep getting advertisements called upgrade package. Somebody seems to think I’m stupid enough to spend $100 to upgrade my troops so I can win every game. Not gonna do it. I haven’t done it and I went 99.9% of the time. This is a strategy game. If you look at it as a strategy game, you will not have to be stupid enough to pay $100 to upgrade your account. I think it’s an insult. I would not pay five dollars for that package. I don’t even think I would pay a dollar you might be able to fool me with $.99 Xbox and PlayStation is much funner and obviously much cheaper. Don’t be stupid don’t waste your money. Don’t complain that you can’t pay your bills if you’re wasting your money on stupid games. However, I do have fun playing it. I just don’t waste money on it.

Great game. Too many ads. Too many ads with no options to buy out or nothing. Very basic. Changing my rating to a 3star from 1 because in airplane mode it works great. Love the game but after lvl 100+- it just repeats all the lvls. I’m on lvl 1500 Update: I’m on lvl 2200. Still playing the same lvls over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Please on some new stuff. It’s. Not hard for you guys to do. Maybe if you let us buy no ads for .99 you’ll have money to do that. COME ON!!! Update!!! Newest update makes this game 4-5 star worthy. Finally a buyout option for ads and a lot of better levels on lvl 2600 glad it’s not on airplane mode anymore.

Nothing more than a cash grab. Do not get this game unless you just like spending time watching ads. There is an ad offer after every single level unless you opt to pay to have the ads removed. I don’t mind some ads understandable it a free game and the devs have to make some money but every single level gets old really quick. If you need to upgrade your troops past level 15 never mind can’t finish that because the tokens needed for upgrades are locked behind a pay wall. I was trying to give it a chance thinking I was just being cheap but when they want to sell you a $15+ little troop man to run across your screen that’s doing too much. Why would you possibly lock a core mechanic of upgrading the troops you have to play with in order to try to be successful in the game behind a pay wall. Just make it a paid game instead of bombarding players with all the micro transactions.

Game Won’t Open. I spent two days playing this game pretty much non-stop. I agree with everyone that this is an ad-machine, but I don’t really mind that too much. What I do mind is that I played for an entire day, then the app wouldn’t open. Obviously I didn’t get a response from submitting through the support team, so I had to delete the app and reinstall the game. This ended up making me lose all my progress and I was furious. But I decided to give it another try, so I spent the next day trying to redo my progress. Now the game is crashing again and it will not reopen for the second day in a row. I’m not going to delete it this time, but it would be nice to have a way to save progress. It’s pretty infuriating to play for so long and enjoy the game and then lose everything. Please tell us there is a way to fix this.

This is a polite, safe, and user‑friendly approach that does not disrupt the experience or interfere with the system. In your case, the ads forcibly exit the app and open Safari, which violates the basic principles of user experience and respect for the user’s device. I kindly ask you to consider disabling or limiting such aggressive advertising formats so that ads cannot automatically open the browser without the player’s explicit consent. Thank you.

Can’t recommend. The game at it’s base is fun and not very difficult, just something mindless to pass time on a flight, and they have events to give players challenges to work towards. But there are TONs of adds in this game blocking you from anything (Even starting a new level). I got the $4.99 ad blocker and there are still a ton of ads. Apparently you have to buy the permanent NO ADs package AND become a VIP $5-10 a week to have all ads removed, what a ripoff. On top of the ads, the rewards in the game are minuscule. I’ve been grinding all week (only watching necessary ads because I don’t like watching 3 mins of ads after every 60 second level) and still can’t afford the 600 gem chest I want to try since you only get 5 or so gems at a time, and they are Rare or higher drops…unless you purchase them of course.

Fun game but would not spend money. This is no doubt a fun game but I would not spend money on this game for a few reasons. One it appears as though there are quite a few players who have hacked the game and are cheating but there is no way of reporting this. Also a big reason I will not spend money on this game is some of the equipment I have earned disappeared and my point strength dropped in half as a result. The third is if you win a pvp match or a secret mission you get a “random reward spin” this is anything but random as there is a pattern as to what prize the spin lands on. As I said if you want a fun game to fill time this game is fun but it’s not worth spending much money on. The pack offered at the prices offered are laughable anyway considering what it take to upgrade equipment anyway

They keep moving the goal posts. So I did the grind to the point where I could beat all 50 challenge levels without an issue. Then the game updates and now I can no longer beat all 50 levels. They made them all way harder. So now if you want to beat all 50 you basically need to spend money on the game. Before you got to a point where you could clear the levels then as you kept progressing the levels just kept getting easier. Which seemed fine to me because it was the reward for grinding through the game. Sorry I am done with this stupid game. You ruined it. First by making it cost gems to do extra challenge levels when before all you had to was watch an ad, then now by making the challenges even harder. Why spend hours playing a game when the goal posts keep getting moved further out. Not fun.

Super glitchy & crashes. I’ve been playing this game for a couple months now and recently it’s been more of a headache than fun. I can be in the middle of a level or about to complete it and the app will close. So I did what most people do & made sure I was on the latest operating system. I force closed my iPad and all. Expecting that to fix the issue. It did not. So I checked for an update of the app. There is none. It’s difficult to enjoy a game that shuts down on you. If it’s not closing, it’s dragging & making it impossible to clear the level. There are several replies from the developer regarding ads but nothing about the functionality of the app. There’s no way I can pay for any in-app products with such poor performance.

If you LOVE ads, this is the game for you!. Ad before you start the game. Ad before you finish the level. If you take too long to finish the level, guess what… you got it, another ad. Then, when you finish the level they ask if you want 3 times the useless gold (I’ll get to that) for watching another ad. You might as well watch the ad, for the gold that you can’t use on anything, because you’re going to be watching an ad anyway. I’d rate this game 0 stars if I could. But it is kind of ok. It would pass the time much better if it weren’t for the bombardment of ads. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because I’m sure there is some algorithm that somehow cancels out 1 star reviews. There is no way this game would have over 4 stars if that weren’t the case. Keeps repeating the same levels over and over. Did I mention having to watch a plethora of ads? Definitely not worth 2 stars.

Good Game, Slow After Update. I’ve been playing this game when I decompress after work for a few months, and I love it overall. The new update did slow down the game a lot, and ads don’t load correctly. There are a lot of ads, but you do get rewarded for them and can skip some if you don’t want the rewards. Of course there’s an option to pay for ad-free as well. I like that you can get far and do well in the game without paying for it, and that’s a big reason I’ve kept it so long. It would be nice if it saved progress with a log in or something, because when I got a new phone I had to start over. Overall, highly recommend the game and I hope they do something about it getting slow soon.

Ads, and horrible last upgrade. Edit (31MAR2023): A new update is present. Now, the AI can’t use the rocket launcher, making levels even easier. And the player vs player, still an AI behind it. Not a real player. There is still no real PvP mode. Why do you need internet for a PvP and the secret missions ??? This game is fun to pass the time, especially during travels. And in planes, two out of the 3 modes can’t be played still. Bummer. Edit: Seems like the lives are gone. You can play without internet. They implemented a Player vs Player mode. Well, considering there is an ad break in between and you can chose to bypass it it and it resumes the game instantly, also considering how dumb other players are, you are competing against AI. So to say. Still lot to improve in order to revise my rating. Will give it a try in a few month again. Original: This game is well made, not too buggy. Recently a nice upgrade with bridges over a river that can be destroyed and some bugs fixed. Though, the level of ads are horrible (ways to bypass, but still). It is adding ad breaks inside every single game. It’s taking away the envy to play. I understand ads are necessary. But too much and you’re not playing anymore. It’s called being too greedy. I reached level 4648. At that level, yes, you’ve done the same level countless of times. This game is nice to burn time when nothing else to do. Now, they introduced “lives”, and it takes 1 hour to gain 1 live. Well, the counter is not de resign at all. Guess it’s because I do not have internet. So forget playing in a plane. Level 4648, that must tell you how much time I spent on your game. This recent update, I need to thank you, my addiction to your game is definitely gone. The game get uninstalled right away.

Used to be better. Game was fun, even after a few updates. New unit, arena, and challenge points to upgrade units further. Than the last update has wrecked the game. I get a few levels done and have to force close the app to restart the AI at a weaker point. They get mythical level right away, lvl 50, and even with a tower at "0", I can't even teach it. PVP has never been real players, they always are mythical, and same thing. After a few levels I have to force restart app to bring PVP AI levels down to win a couple. The constant rocket trucks putting down fire is impossible. Destroys multiple units that I can't get past, way too quick. This game is dropping off fast for me. And my units are pretty leveled up(for having not spent money but lots of time)

Fun game but upgrading makes no sense. First only for no ads but to use functions of the game require you to view ads. Those functions are only available when you need to use them otherwise you get stuck Then I upgrade troops and have things to level 10 or higher and when I play a PVP round and against a level 1 player I lose. I can have all my buildings maxed and still lose to someone with lower level buildings and ranking So what’s the point of upgrading them PVP is also fake, in airplane mode and no wifi you can still play a PVP match, so that puts to question the scoreboard as an actual ranking of real people But then when in airplane mode and no wifi you can’t to the “secret missions” which are solo rounds

Too many ads. I’ve been playing this game for awhile now and tbh, it’s really fun, but there are way too many ads to make it an overall enjoyable experience. No exaggeration, but when you spend more time watching ads than you do actually playing the game, something needs to change. Beat a level? Watch an ad. Playing a level? Watch 1-3 ads. Want to x3 your gold at the end of a level? Watch an ad. At least give us an ad free option for a small fee, myself as well as many other people would probably be happy to pay it. Edit: They have included a “no ads” option for a price, which I gladly paid. However, if you want to x3 your troops or x3 your gold at the end of the level, you STILL have to watch an ad, which is extremely frustrating and annoying. If I’m paying money for “NO ADS” I expect there to be NO ADS.

Good toilet game. The game isn’t too bad if you only want to play the straight lined main mode levels or “pvp” mode. Just turn off wifi and cellular data for the game and you can cruise through levels. PvP doesn’t seem to be actual pvp since I can play against others with no internet connection. They recycle levels once you get far enough. For me, the most noticeable case was levels 426 and 915 being the same exact AmongUs layout. The only difference was the characters that the other towers used. I haven’t spent any real world money on the game and have gotten this far. Good game for passing some time. Wish there were more than 6 claimable characters from the chests for the tanks and people (2 per category).

What a joke!!. This game has coding in it that completely disregards power differential. You can be twice or three times (or more) stronger than your opponent (for example in challenges) and you will still lose no matter what you do. I’m currently almost 10K in power and I still regularly lose to the challenges at 4500, 5400 and others and have absolutely no shot at beating 7500. They move 2-3 times faster than me and their men, tanks and launchers are always stronger than mine. I still win more often than not but the amount of effort expended is way more than it should be when I’m that much stronger than they are. Additionally, the fact that they invariably start with much higher numbers and move much faster than me no matter what upgrades I make is ridiculous. I would NEVER recommend this game to anyone!!! What an utter joke this game is!!!

Ads will take up the majority of your time. The concept and play of the game are fun themselves. But the ADDDSSS! So many it’s unbelievable. There’s an before during and after each level. Sometimes there will be two ads during the level. Each ad is around 10 seconds (5 second video + 5 second interactive ad) and most of the times you try to close or click out of it to get back to your game it will automatically redirect you to the AppStore. Also, when you have an ad in the middle of the game, you can expect to return to the game having gone on without you. If each level is on average 30 seconds you will spend as much time watching ads as playing the game. If you play 10 levels you can expect to sit through about 5 minutes of ads. Probably the worst ad experience I’ve ever had because I really do like the game but I will be deleting it because it’s mind numbing seeing the same puzzle ads over and over again.

Good Time Killer. This game is great for when I just want to unwind and not think too hard. It’s easy to pick up and play, and it’s satisfying enough to keep me coming back. To clarify, I’m not playing to be competitive — I play to relax. PROS: • Simple and fun gameplay • Satisfying progression • Challenging without being stressful CONS: • Way too many ads. One ad after every level gets irritating fast. • Overpriced microtransactions. There are a lot of purchase prompts, and some of them are wildly expensive. • Sound issues. Even with sound effects turned off, the game and ads interrupt my music. • Unfair game balancing. After a recent update, my troop strength dropped (17k → 16k), and the cost to summon 10x troops increased from 150 gems to 250. That feels exploitative. • “Random” rewards aren’t truly random. The spins rarely give anything meaningful, which makes progression feel intentionally slowed to encourage spending. So, while those issues keep this at a 3-star rating for me, I still play every day because the gameplay itself is genuinely relaxing — almost like a fidget spinner for the mind. If the monetization and balancing were toned down, this would easily be a 5-star experience.

The ads & volume. My biggest complaint is that the game is full of ads that do not abide by the same settings as the game. So if I have my settings set to silent, the ads still blare through the speakers. I can’t even play my own music while I play, the game constantly pauses it & the ads take over. Even if I don’t want to watch an ad for extra points or rewards, they play anyway & I can’t exit out of it. I’m stuck watching the whole ad anyway WITHOUT THE REWARD. The ads are the biggest problem w/ the game. I thought about possibly spending the money to get it without ads, but the game still glitches & shuts off my music, so it wouldn’t be worth it. The side mission games also glitch. They will say “no internet connection.” Other than all of those issues, the game isn’t bad. I use it to unwind.

Amazing game but gets boring. I loved to play this game but after playing it for 10 months it got so boring, so I decided to delete the game. But I am reinstalling the game because I am hoping that there are changes. I really suggest playing this game. Also there are so much ADS K that just pop up, I am fine with an ad every once in a while but there are too much. Prices too get rid of ads are too high. I am 11 years old and its been 1 1/2 years since I had this game but I am reinstalling it, and you should get it to. 1 Year later (This second paragraph was written 1 year later than the other paragraphs) I deleted the game again because of the ads but downloaded it back 2or3 days ago and the game is much better, I’m gana’ turn 12 soon and this game has been part of me for 3 years now and with all the updates and improvements I review this game 5 stars. I really encourage you to play this game, What a wonderful game that everyone should play. Me in the future: (Thanks for making less ads)

Unable to compete for free. Like most games with thousands of downloads, this game is really fun. There are several game modes that keep you interested, and the upgrade system is fair and comprehensible. Unfortunately, like most games, the paid players have attributes that become impossible to compete with. The only recourse is to play for hours, lose, and then drop to a lower tier. This must be repeated weekly, because each time you win a game, you get bumped up to better players who have paid for increased attributes. Perhaps an option to play against a mirror version of your own skills would alleviate this problem, but as is, there is no way to compete as a free player. Update: after the developer responded, I continue to stand by my review. The game is a great idea, and initially fun to play. However, paid players Nate the game and there is no opportunity for free players to do anything but lose.

Fun game but missing new events. So I’ve been playing this game for quite some time now, and while it is fun it definitely gets old. I have read online via the game reddit community that there are events and other changes to the game that I have not gotten despite being fully updated so not sure how they come about. There is supposed to be an advanced research center, a new bunch of Challenge Tower levels, a Helios event with a new store, and some sort of attack challenge. People mention they come and go on their apps, but I have yet to experience them. Wish it was more universal so everyone could try the new things. Fun to play, but without updates it will be an eventual delete out of repetitive boredom.

Fun, but…. This game is actually quite fun. Its mechanics are easy to learn but can be quite challenging depending on the level. But I can’t give it a good rating for three reasons: 1. There’s a lot of ads. One after every level. (Or more if you don’t pass the level.) Ads are fine, but that’s a LOT. You can pay ($5 right now) to go ad free. And I’d have done this except for the audio issues. 2. The sound on this game doesn’t work right. I like playing this while listening to an audiobook. So I have the game set to no sound and no music. But, it doesn’t stick. Right in the middle of the level, the sound effects will sometimes turn back on. And, as if that isn’t annoying enough, it will also randomly do something that causes Audible to pause. So I have to constantly restart my book. Annoying. 3. The ads are terrible. Not just in frequency, but ads with close buttons that don’t work. You have to exit the game to get out of the ad. (Draft Kings is one of the worst offenders.) And, even with my phone set to silent and the game’s settings set to mute, ads will still play with sound. Overall, this game is fun. I’ve played it for hours on end. But I just deleted it. Just can’t deal with its issues anymore.

If you’re going to make a game, why have an ad after EVERY SINGLE ROUND! Seriously! I mean, I know ads are how you make money and keep the game free, but this is a little unnecessary. But also another thing. There’s a lot of pop up ads about “hey buy this cool thing that barely looks different from the one you already have gotten when the game started! It’s marked down from 💵3 dollars to 2 dollars and fifty cents! Junk ad generator. Don’t even bother with this junk ad generator of an app. This game could be genuinely fun if there wasn’t a 60 second ad sequence after every single level. I tried to purchase the ad free version but then the game just states “no internet connection”. Deleted and redownloaded and same exact issue. If i have enough internet connection to get went 200 advertisements for white out survival or write this review then I should have enough connection to purchase the ad free version of the game. I assume they make more money on the ads than revenue from purchasing the ad free version so this is actually intentional. I true ode to how bad the phone game market has become.

Everything is fake. I play because it is a good way to pass down time. Don’t be fooled , you are never playing against other people. There is no pvp, you just play against the computer all the time. Even in the arena it’s all fake. Unless you believe that people spent like several thousand dollars to get level 50 red soldiers, but didn’t get any gear or technology along the way. Honestly never going to happen. You would think that you could at least compete against people there unfortunately there is no way that is possible. Unless you believe that a low power player like me can get first place every week, currently I’m in like 6th place and everyone else in the top 30 or 40 is full power. I guess I’m that good right? Not a bad way to waste time. Just don’t be fooled about what is really happening.

Was a fan… now I’m annoyed. I have been playing this game for hours on end for about a month now. I honestly didn’t mind there being ads after every round because they were short and I could skip them after about 10-15 seconds. But now the ads are randomly popping up in the middle of game play which is causing me to lose and just very annoying in general. Once the screen comes back from the ad I realized the game continued while I was stuck on the ad screen. Not fair. And they seem to come up every 20-30 seconds now so an ad popped up twice while I was in game play. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or new update but please fix this or you will unfortunately lose a player 😕

You do not have to pay to play. I have been playing this game for a year now. I you do not have to buy anything. They give you ways to strengthen your character, similar to an RPG. When you do the spins (with an ad yes, but they are not long ads) you collect items. Items that if you keep multiplying, you can upgrade by merging. Then also upgrading your characters or vehicles by applying those items to them. It is a fun game: I enjoy doing it while I’m bored. However today and this week in particular, the game has been crashing during ads. Please fix this. Thank you!

Good game, annoying app. I love the actual game but the ads are constant, and long and hypersensitive to you touching the screen. They have an option after every level to watch an add for an extra reward but even if you skip, they force you to watch an ad anyway so don’t bother. Their prices for in-app purchases are stupidly high so it’s not worth paying for no adds and VIP status is only for a matter of days if you do pay for it. Also, no matter if your phone is switched to mute or you turn off all the in-app sounds, sometimes the game sounds or the ads will play at full volume for no reason and the only way to make it stop is to close fully out of the app or just wait for it to cut back off on its own. You’ve gotta have a lot of patience if you want to enjoy this game, even if the actual playing is fun. My advice: don’t spend any money on it

It’s pay to win now. Pvp is nearly impossible to advance above a certain level unless you spend 50 bucks on advanced troops and tanks. You can still get a win in here and there, but if the other person knows what they are doing you’re cooked. There is no reasonable way to get those troops without paying. I’ll spend a few dollars here and there but there are no mobile games worth spending 50 bucks, let alone 100. I don’t know if the same people who spend that are also sending money to a Nigerian prince, but it’s a pretty stupid way to spend money. It gets 2 stars because it’s fun to play. Just wish you could continue to advance without paying large sums of money. Edit: finally gave up and deleted the app. When I have an optimal setup and 8 of 10 towers and I still can’t win, there’s no point in frustrating myself even further. The fake PvP always has op weapons that you can’t overcome regardless of strategy.

Can’t play anymore. I literally can’t play anymore. I lost all 3 of my lives (very stupid concept) and they 59 minute timer doesn’t move and when I try to watch an ad it says as unavailable…. So I literally can’t play even if I wanted to. Revert this update…. Lives are so stupid you’re stopping people from playing your game. I’m on level 1015 so I’ve been playing this game for a LONG LONG time but this update has made me want to quit. Considering I can’t even play I probably will…… I’ve read all these reviews and every single one is saying this new update is horrible so my question is why not just revert?? I see you respond to everyone’s comments but don’t give me some political answers. Just answer to everyone why you won’t revert your updates Update: still can’t play….. after 1000 levels and over 12 hours of playin this will be deleted. If you don’t want us playing your game just say it lol but this new life system is HORRIBLE

Would love this game but have been ripped off. I have loyally played for years. Had amassed an amazing armory, great tanks, cool soldiers, and tons of gold (almost a million). Woke up one morning and couldn’t claim rewards for completing quests. I tried everything possible to fix it, rebooted my phone, checked for an update, updated my phone, rebooted again, contacted support, and still was unable to do anything. Waited a week after contacting support, still received no answer. So I reinstalled the game. Imagine my horror when I realized I had lost everything. INCLUDING my VIP status I had paid for. Reached out to support again after hundreds of attempts to restore my purchase via the game, and I still have not received a response from anyone at Say Games. I am so disappointed. I have paid a lot of money in game, and your support team has yet to respond to a single inquiry whatsoever. Highly disappointing.

Based on $$ not “skill”. I’ve played this game and gotten up to almost level 300. However I’ve noticed now a lot of the levels I play I’m consult dying and I can’t upgrade my soldiers and tanks without using gems and I can’t get gems without winning games but I can’t win games without buying anything. Also a lot of their good players cost at least $15.…. I already spent $6 for the no ads and you first wanted me to pay $10 for no ads. If there was a way to upgrade players solely on coins I think it would be fine but you make me use gems to summon another player card which has been John Doe the past 3 times and or other low cards. I have 10,000 coins but can’t use them to upgrade cause I need to summon another card.

Sick of developers being greedy. DONE. So now you’ve made levels that can’t be won without watching an ad..STOP BEING GREEDY. I have been playing this game for a while now. 5 resets at levels well above 1000. You took a nice relaxing game and phuqed it up by being greedy and adding those stupid pointless sheep! I paid your expensive fee for ad free then you put lives in place. Why? Greed. (Granted, after player outcry they’ve been removed, but they never should have been in the first place) You force SOOOOOO many ads if people don’t pay, people run away in droves. If you make a game people actually want to play, and not push YOUR greedy agenda on the players, people will play because it’s enjoyable. Granted, I understand the need for ads, server space and power are expensive. But if you aim for quantity of players, your company will get ad revenue in the end. Animation Throwdown. An awesome game payers and players alike can enjoy. If you don’t pay if takes a LONG time, but it is the only game I’ve ever seen players for years (5 years myself) and it’s because ALL types of players can enjoy. Take a lesson from them, apply it, and earn. Be different. *Play ads we can cancel out of *Every 3rd or 5th ad, make it a full ad *NO interrupting actual game play. ONLY play ads after completing a level. Or something like this. Players will stay longer. Sure, revenue may grow slower, but it will probably be more stable and you will have earned more player loyalty, resulting in player longevity, and hence more revenue. Aim to keep the people you already have since it’s so much more expensive to find new customers. Find a compromise between company needs and player enjoyment, and when the company is able to tip more in favor of the player, do it. Give the customer (player) what they want and they’ll return, happily, in droves! It’s commerce 101. And get rid of those phuqing sheep!!!!!

On and off. I’ve played this game on and off for a while, I just came back to the game in the last week, and it’s gotten worse, the game it’s self is fine, it’s when you are done you get a choice watch an add and get 3 times the gold, (no prob with that) or hit next, but when you do that you still get an add.. luckily I just close the game out and restart and the add is gone, it’s funny if you didn’t force adds on me I’d watch them, but the way you are set up now, I will never spend money or watch your adds because the over doing it with adds pisses me off, when I get tired of restarting the game, which I like, I will simply delete it and not look back again… it’s to bad too, cause the game is actually fun except for your desire to force me to watch you stupid adds

Good Low Effort Time Killer. I enjoy this game a lot. It’s a good one to open and play for just a few minutes. It’s requires minimal brain power, but is still fun so I can play to occupy my hands during physical downtime. That said…. why are the in app purchases so outrageously expensive? I’m someone who has and will spend money on apps, but paying $7 for 5 days of ad free is WILD. In general, the in app purchase prices do not seem to reflect the value of the items. One other example of the issue is $15 for one blue upgrade badge. Fun game overall, but the purchase value and price need to be aligned. P.S. why, when I’m playing the game with the sound off and my phone on silent, will an ad randomly play at full volume?

If you want to keep advancing you’ll have to pay. The purchase characters are op. They all have specialties that no other character you can get has. They added the a way to get the purchase characters by summoning. But it will take so long to get a chance to do that you will constantly get to a point in pvp where you’ll just have to close it and start again because there is nothing you can do. And for reference all of my characters are legendary lever 30 with advance items. And it has been months since I have been able to upgrade anything. And they just updated the system where you can go past level 50. So either pay and be op or don’t and just constantly hit a point where you’ll be stuck for months. Makes it not fun to continue to play

It’s fun for a while. I actually really enjoy this game. I paid to have no mandatory ads because I liked it so much. It’s very relaxing to me. The part that keeps me from giving it five stars is that I’ve pretty much maxed out the capacity of the game unless I want to spend real money. And it would be one thing if it were smaller price tags. But no, there are no small price tag bundles or anything. Tell me why I would pay $100USD for a game character? That’s insanity. So I’ve leveled up troops, tanks, etc to the max I can without spending money on upgrade tokens. And now I’m stuck playing the same quality of stuff over and over. It’s fine. It’s still relaxing to me. But the insanity of these prices on this game doesn’t justify itself.

Fun - But Buggy, With Ads. This game is actually what it shows in the ads you might have seen, and is genuinely fun. I think a few levels seem to be designed so they are unwinnable without using ad boosts, which is unfortunate, but not too many. Required ads are definitely longer than most other similar apps, but I was willing to let that slide… except for the bugs. Twice now I have experienced the game beginning to consistently crash on loading so it is completely unplayable, and the only solution I have found yet is to completely delete and reinstall the game, which has no way to register or otherwise save your progress, so that means starting over. I would have loved to rate this higher but being unplayable means two stars is the best I can give. I’m really disappointed and frustrated.

Great game… ads are relentless. The game seems great, but only play if you want to pay $6.99 to remove the “break ads” which basically play after every level starting around level 6. This game is a racket for ads. There are literally billboards in this game if that tells you anything. And to be clear, I understand why ads are in games. I deal with reasonable amounts. This game literally puts ads in your face every 30-45 seconds. In some cases it almost forces you to watch an ad by allowing you to go to the next level with a “break ad” (usually 10-20 seconds) or you watching a 3x coin ad after level completion (30 second ad) which then allows you to skip the “break ad”. Do not get this game unless you like ads or spend a lot on games. Its a shame though. With reasonable ads I feel I would have enjoyed this game and likely put it in my rotation of main games I actually spend money on.

Slow Progression. *Update* Downgraded to one star. I tried to give it time and keep playing to see if it would get better, it doesn't. In fact the latest update has made it worse. Don't waste your time. The game isn't worth the time you will spend waiting for it to get better. This game has the potential to be fun. The ads are annoying after every level, but they aren't the only thing that brings the stars down. The game progression is the slowest by far of the games I play. You get to a point not far into the game and it just stops letting you level up the assets. No matter how far you get or how much coins you collect, you can no longer level up, makes the game monotonous and not worth playing. Even after months of playing and reaching level 1000, progression just stops. The only reason it got 2 stars instead of 1 is that it is enjoyable to play, if you don't care about progressing.
