AI Plant Identifier - Plant ID App Reviews

Review of access. I have had to download this app 5 times and pay for 3 of them. When I email someone at evolly, their response is to delete the app from my home screen, reinstall it with the same information, and try again. When I did this previously, they charged me again. I just installed it for the fifth time and am hoping that I do not get charged again. Not sure how long I will continue with this one since all this has happened within 2 months.

Love this app. I like how it identifies plants for forage in home use

not accurate, too expensive, too many ads. it didn't work in identifying a group of plants. it is choked with too many distracting ads and continuous push to purchase annual subscription. more annoying than informative ...

No expert. Very disappointed. I asked a question and she said sorry I’m not here to answer questions. I want my money back.

Information. What I don’t see our ways to treat and healthy plants.

This app is pretty cool. The app identified a different name every time I took a picture of the same plant, is not really accurate but is still cool learning facts about the plant even though it might not be YOUR plant your learning about…. well, it might just be some plants look a lot alike so it might be more accurate with another type of flower/ plant picture than mine specifically but IDK…

Perfect for me. I just bought the app and see it will answer sooooo many questions for me!! I will be getting the lifetime account. Yay!!

WhatPlant is easy to use and very accurate. This app is very easy to use. I finally know the names to all of my plants!

Great app. The only problem I have is a free trial keeps popping up and I can’t use the app. Otherwise I would give it 5 star. The few times I was able to capture an image and identify the plant, it was fantastic.

Plant app. This was worthless to me. It basically said all my plants were unhealthy and gave the same diagnosis for all of the 5 different plants I checked. These plants were in different locations and not the same kind. Not even continuing with the free trial!

It’s not working. Wasted money do not purchase this app.

Gets it wrong…a LOT!. I just bought an alocasia stingray plant which was labelled as such when I bought it-it has very obvious “sting-ray” looking leaves & was excited to use this app just to know its accuracy…it never got it right! I took multiple photos & ea time it identified as something different-ugh! This happened w several other plants that I knew-very disappointed as sometimes someone will give me a plant & I need to know what it’s needs are so it can thrive in the right environment. Will be cancelling my free 3-day trial

Review. This app tells me the same thing is wrong with every plant.

Cancellation. Please cancel trial subscription .

Does not work.. I be tried multiple views but on multiple plants and did not identify any.

Can’t analyze images. Says the data is not in the correct format and doesn’t tell me how to fix it.

Happy me. It’s addictive, can’t stop identifying all the plants in my home, backyard, and surrounding area.

Scam. I feel like this might be a scam since I purchased a year membership and now I can’t even access the dang thing…. I tried using the “contact us” tab and it refuses to send a message. Very disappointing.

Good start, but …. I started using this app about nine months ago. It did a good job at first of identifying plants. More recently it started misidentifying plants egregiously and most recently cannot detect any photo that I take. And I paid for this. From other reviews, this is clearly not a good site. Going to something better. Would give no stars if I could.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!. Do not even consider trying this app out unless you want to be scammed!! They offered a trial period and I didn’t think to much about that because I only needed to ID one plant. Then I never touched that app again. All of a sudden it randomly changed my account $40 without my approval. They probably have something written in fine print but that’s how they get away with these scams.

Not useful. I have uploaded 4 or 5 pictures of MUSHROOMS and the app keeps identifying the small plants UNDER and BEHIND the mushrooms! I started this AND payed for it to help identify mushrooms and it plainly does not work

Fantastic! Super impressed it picked up on off the wall tropical species. Really impressed with this. I moved down to Costa Rica 6 years ago and it can be difficult to get a proper ID on plants and trees here. Out of 20 id’s it failed only on one but it got me super close to where I could narrow it down. This is, imo, 100% worth a purchase. Most plant id apps are horrible this is the exact opposite!

Wow.. pretty good. Okay I’ll be honest I can’t afford to pay $50 to unlock the full app, but there is the option of watching a 15-30 second video (witch I hope the creator gets paid that way) this app has helped me to identify at least 50 berries, leafy greens, mushrooms and nuts!!! As a vegan and someone that is newer to foraging this app has been great!! With links to Wikipedia and Google you can find out all the information about the plant you want. I am very glad to have found this app. Thank you
