The worst app. Been trying for a half hour and can’t get this app to find a WH one mile from my house. This app won’t even find me. Tried to call the WF to place order and no one answered. Pitiful. This local Waffle House is not even listed in their directory. Geez. Fix this crap already.

For employees. Waffle House is old school. This app is not to take online orders. It is for employees. Stop being lazy and come in to take the order we are typically very busy we do not have time for apps and phone calls 😂

Workers. To all of you complaining about this being a bad app, it was more made for Waffle House employees. It works fairly well on the employee side. Can keep track of my paychecks and schedule pretty easily. It signs me out every once in a while but overall, not too bad.

The app is the website. There is no difference or additional features from using the app. Also at certain times everything becomes slow and hard to access

Just a thought. I’ve seen some Waffle House employees using some pretty nasty language towards people who (rightfully) think this app is for customers… why would we think it’s for employees when it says “PROVIDE CUSTOMERS” in the second line??? Maybe the inability to read is why you work at Waffle House … idk

The app does NOT work on apple.. I down loaded the app after passing Waffle House in an Uber. I love Waffle House and realized Waffle House isn’t available of GrubHub nor DoorDash. So I down loaded the Waffle House app. It doesn’t work at all. I down loaded and it opens the app and then goes to a blank screen. No options. Just swipe up to clear the app and it goes away: I deleted: the app is just not an app. Hopefully in the future I can open the app and order. But for now, the app is just a stall.

Why is this even an app. This app is pointless. I don’t need this app to find the closest Waffle House…Apple Maps does that for me. I can’t even place an online order with the app… but oh wait I can buy merch that no one would ever wear. Just delete the app Waffle House unless you add the ability to place online orders.

BEST APP EVER. My name is kimberly and I’ve been bulking my whole life some of my favorite foods would be waffles so I love to just open the app and dream about eating the food. This app is so good that sometimes I start drooling when looking at the pictures!!! 🧇🤤🤤

Menu options. The app is great but I wish if they could add an option to where we can edit how the food we want like there is an option for bacon egg and cheese sandwich or biscuit but if I could remove the meat options because I’m vegetarian so I can order only egg and cheese sandwiches or biscuits so something like that would help me or others so that they can order ahead of time so when they get there their food is ready and it saves time

Can’t place an order. The app worked for me one time and never worked again. We order from Waffle House regularly over the phone. Obviously they will not take over the phone orders anymore as they want you to order online, except you can’t do that either… it says error every time. I’ve tried probably 10 times in the last week using the app and there’s an error while checking out every time.

Not a morning app. Sad, sad, sad. Waffle House means breakfast, but apparently NOT at breakfast time. The app won’t load in the morning, but works fine after 2 PM CDT. I loaded the app to be able to order breakfast…in the mornings. Waffle House is losing a customer now, since I can’t get food within 20 minutes if I wait to order when I get there. And yes, I updated my phone, the app, deleted and reloaded the app, and cleared cache and cookies. It just won’t work in the morning, when I need it.

Mixed feelings. The app is not bad. Perhaps you could have a separate app that’s just for ordering food. Also, I don’t like that eggs aren’t on the menu for ordering. Most times I want an order of scrambled eggs and whatever else, but I can’t just order eggs, so I have to go to Waffle House and place the order instead of just ordering through the app.

Fix it please. The app is great when it’s working, but 2-3 days a week it is impossible to get into. It is always around the time when payroll closes until we get paid. There has to be a way to fix this. As a trainer we are told to tell the trainers about the app and how to use it. But I find myself explaining why they cannot get into the app more than actually explaining the features.

Hope this helps y’all. So if you log in and check it between 4-430 in the afternoon on Tuesday you’ll be able to see your pay and schedule ; but after that time period for the remainder of Tuesday until Thursday the app is down for maintenance

Blank screen, won’t open. I downloaded the app and it looked like it was going to work. There was the main screen with a man on the front and then the next screen white completely white and will not load. I even reinstalled it and it still is blank. Can’t use it.

Online ordering is awful!!. Tried to call and order, but is no longer an option. When u call it is a message telling u to order online they no longer take phone orders. So I order on app and u can’t add say extra eggs, adding to sandwiches, or even scattered as an option on hasbrowns. But under sides I can add a T-bone steak. If this is how we are to order without driving up to order inside, and then wait. Make it so we can order how we always do.

Love ordering online. Love that i can now order online on my phone but the only feedback i would love to give is the option to double the eggs on my order.

What’s the point of this app???. Worst app ever. Location doesn’t work. Sitting in a Waffle House in Lexington Kentucky and it keeps showing me locations in metro Atlanta GA when I tell it to find locations near me. No way to order from the app. I can’t believe they paid someone to develop this pointless app. It’s nothing more than a glorified electronic menu that a grade school child could put together. I wouldn’t have given it a single star if it was possible to write a review without one.

worst app of all time. if i could give this app zero stars i would. why in gods name can I not check how much i’m getting paid 2 hours before the check hits. most of the time i literally get paid before i can check how much i’m making. whoever made this app deserves to be tortured and sodomized. i hope all the developers go through the worst pain imaginable.

App malfunctioning. Every week when it’s time to get paid. The app acts up. Even the online version for employees messes up. EVERY WEEK! Spot on never fails. I hope it can be fixed soon to where it doesn’t do this & I don’t have to constantly reset my pin every week. On top of being an employee & wanting to order from the Waffle House store with my employee discount I can’t because it says I’m not eligible…. I work for Waffle House how am I not eligible…

Honestly, works better than most mobile ordering apps I’ve used.. I’m not sure it there has been a recent update or if these other reviews are just complaining to complain. The app is extremely user friendly and actually very fast. It takes me longer to order from DoorDash than it took to order on the WH app. I haven’t picked up my food yet as I just ordered but assuming the kitchen fulfills my order, this app is great.

Best app in existence. My life was totally incomplete and I was wandering aimlessly through this world until one day I discovered the WAFFLE HOUSE app. The joy I received completely changed my being and who I was as a person. The wonderful thought and time that went into this app would put even the Nokia phone to shame. I work every day to spread this wonderful knowledge and live how the WAFFLE HOUSE app wants us to live. May the waffles always be warm and the doors always be open to that sacred place. Amen

Crashes. Just downloaded & as soon as you open the app it crashes. This is horrible! I thought this would be better especially since the local WH doesn’t answer the phone. I would rate this app with ZERO stars but I can’t so it’s one star because I’m being forced to leave one.

Needs improvement. When it matters most it seems like this app crashes or is down for maintenance, there are something’s a company should never be cheap on. This app development is so janky.. Make it so the app always stays connected and doesn’t go login you out.

When will you update?. This app needs an update there’s no reason why it’s so hard to see my schedule/pay. I can understand that bugs happen with apps but for this app to had last been updated 2 years ago this happens waaaay too often.

Full nutrition section. Just letting you know, if you press on “Food” then the “Full nutrition” section, you can’t go back into the app, and you’re stuck. Also, I’m hoping there is some way to the reward system on here. That would encouraging and fun when going to Waffle House.

this needs to be fixed!!. This is the most frustrating app ive ever had to deal with. Same for the website. sometimes when i try to login its saying using the wrong email or password which i'm definitely not. The app will crash and show multiple errors then CONSTANTLY log me out . i can't even open up the "my pay" tab because it literally refuses to open. how am i supposed to see my schedule... it won't even let me login with my credentials to browse the employee shop . this is ridiculous !!

Frustrating as an employee. This app fails to load at the most inconvenient times. Be sure to write down your schedule or take a picture of it whenever you do finally get the chance to open the app.

Frustrating Experience, App Won't Load. I'm writing this review to express my disappointment with the Waffle House app. I've encountered a significant issue where the app fails to load properly, hindering my ability to access its features. Upon opening the app, I am greeted with an appealing splash screen featuring a friendly employee. However, the excitement quickly gives way to frustration as the app becomes stuck on a never-ending white screen. I've tried troubleshooting the problem and wanted to reach out to the app's support team to report the issue, but unfortunately, they do not provide a way to do so within the app itself or here in the App Store. Hence, I have resorted to writing this review as an alternative means of communication. As a fan of Waffle House, I was genuinely looking forward to utilizing the convenience and benefits offered by their app. However, the persistent loading issue has severely hindered my ability to use it. I sincerely hope the developers take notice of this review and promptly address this problem, as it prevents users like myself from enjoying the app's intended functionality. Idiots. To all of you complaining about this app, It is more for employees then customers. If you’re a regular at Waffle House you should know that we are very “old school” and don’t have fancy electronics to do online orders. Our saying is “good food fast and friendly” so don’t be lazy and come in and place your order.

Needs work. It’s a pretty good app for Waffle House employees as it has everything you need and more. It’s way better than other restaurant apps but the only problem is during payday, which is every Wednesday, the app crashes almost and logs you out making you re-login. And if that isn’t bad, you aren’t even able to use the app during the early hours of Wednesday to check your paycheck or anything. The app will refuse to load and/or log you out. It may be a security feature or it may be because the app isn’t able to handle that many people using its server. I’m not sure but I think this app would be a 10/10 for everybody if it would stop frequently crashing and logging you out!

Why bother making this app?. Considering issues these days with covid etc. I should be able to order online through app like 1000 other apps.. Seriously, why did you people even bother to write this app when any browser would do?

Terrible app. I’m a Waffle House employee and I have to use this app to look at my schedule, paychecks and everything in between but it fails to load on several occasions, most of it resulting in the app kicking me out where I have to log back in. Then I will do so and it will continue to give me an error description. Or maybe it’ll finally decide to act right and log me back in, where it’ll be fine for maybe a few days tops until it does it again. TS needs to be fixed because it’s really pi$$ing me off

It’s perfect, just one flaw.. It’s very good, but the only thing that bothers me about it is that there isn’t a way to mark your availability on the app. So, when your boss goes to put in the schedule they have a reminder that you can’t work certain days/shifts. That is all, thank you so much.

No longer useful. This app used to be great but now if I can get it to open and load up, it’s a miracle! As soon as I try to open the app, I get stuck with a blank white screen and nothing loads up so what’s the point?? It’s been happening for last month and a half. Plz fix

Why did they tell me to download?. I ordered food for carry out at least a dozen times before they told me to download the app and “just order online”. I was surprised to see all the reviews stating you can’t order online….. and they were all true.

Poorly coded. I’m a employee and use this app and its useful but it’s really bad. Sometimes it just doesn’t work and sometimes it logs you out for no reason. For a multi-million dollar company this app is very poorly coded and I feel they could’ve made this app much better.

Crappy app. I believe I’ve wrote a review before and I’m still having the same problems constantly. I can login to the app every day until payday and then I’m being kicked out an it takes me hours after RESETTING my password for the UMPTEENTH time to get into the app to look at anything. I should not have to fight with an app for a place I work just to find out what I’m being paid for that week. The devs or whoever work on this app need to step it up and fix this issue or at least address the issues and try to fix them, instead of ignoring them and the consumer.

FOR EMPLOYEES NOT CUSTOMERS!. This app is meant for employees not customers it’s so us employees can see are pay and schedule it’s not for placing orders there’s another app for that or just come to the store if the app is glitching it’s because payroll is being updated!

Terrible app. This app is terrible… I can’t order my usual ( 4 egg’s scrambled with cheese and 2 grilled chicken breast) and I can’t call because the phones have been disconnected. How are people supposed to order things that are not on the menu? We usually call it in at work and go pick it up and now we can’t get what we want… you can’t even order a omelette???? The app idea is terrible in my opinion

crApp. It's basically just the website. Useless. Tons of reviews say it's for employees, not customers. Cool. Then it should be advertised as such. Instead, it's advertised as a general Waffle House app, and in that regard it's garbage. To the person saying just to come in and order, rather than call or order online: no. I work two F&B jobs myself and don't have that kind of time. Get with the program, Waffle House. It's 2023.

App bugs and mechanical issues. I just had to reinstall my app after having it for over a year and I would like to check my pay and my schedule without having to jump through a million hoops. You guys’ app has been showing an error on both of my devices and has booted me out multiple times over the last week. Please fix it. Thank you.

Almost 2 years later and still nothing’s changed. I have been an employee using this app since I started and at first it was perfectly fine no problems whatsoever then 3 months later and still continuing this app has become a major pain in my side to the point I don’t even bother with opening it to check my check stubs anymore because i either get logged out and have to fight with it for DAYS or get a error message saying can’t connect to the servers, maybe if they would take the time to update and treat it like they should treat their employees, then maybe things would be a lot better

Every Week. I am going to come back every week that the app goes down because there’s no reason an app should be crashing every week the day before and the day of payday. I’m just attempting to see my hours and what my pay is going to be, and I can never do that simply because this stupid app doesn’t know how to function properly. I can’t wait until I no longer need to use the app to see my schedule because I’ll never use this waste of space and time again.

Really???. I hope they didn’t pay someone to make this app. It allows you to put together a meal as if you can place an order for a meal online. When you go to actually try to order the meal there is no button that allows you to do so. So why would you let me put together the meal in the first place??!!!

Waffle House Employee review. The app was meant for us employees to see the schedule and our pay. Not for you to place pick up orders. That’s why we have phones at the restaurant and if you call and nobody answers, we’re probably busy so just drive up to Waffle House like you would do anyways to receive the food, and order. As for the employee side of things, it’s okay I guess. Main problem is it’s slow and signs me out from time to time. Other than that, stuff is easy to find and everything you need as an employee for scheduling and pay is there.

Doesn’t work most of the time. I’ve had this app for about a year now and most of the time the server is down and you can’t look at your schedule. It’s frozen more than not and won’t keep you signed in. It’s useless to have an app for employees to check everything if it doesn’t work.

Stupid. They turn off their phones and make you order online but it does not give you the options. The description can even say “your option of toast” and then doesn’t let you pick a type of toast. Easy way for Waffle House to get rid of customers. A lot of their stores have half of their business by phone but you can’t call in, even for the items messed up in their order service.

Useless App. This is the most worthless app ever created. It does nothing other than show you the same webpage that Safari would show you. I’ve wasted 10 minutes of my life downloading and trying to use this to order food, ain’t happening.

Needs an update. This app needs an update to fit the needs of advancing phones. That is the reason the app crashes so much. (I think)

Lazy employees. To all the lazy employees saying this app isn’t for customers then why is it advertised as such?! If taking an ONLINE ORDER is too much work for you then you need to go live in the woods or something. This society really isn’t for you.
