By far my favorite news and social media site. This is definitely by far so much better than Facebook (Faceplant), Instagram (InstantIdiots) or TicToc (Chinese hack job). The race to be the first to comment on a new article is fun game we all do. People are friendly and we keep it clean.

My go to news source!. The website cuts through the fluff and posts the news I need to know. I don’t like wading through the other news sites to find important issues.

Great news. Not the bee gives great news and perspectives. A lot of what the site offers is just insight. The news has broken elsewhere and they give a common sense, wholesome and often biblical perspective. Worth your time.

News you can trust. This is no Babylon bee of stuff you can’t trust. This is real news from a satirical perspective. They point out the not main stream news cycles and highlight some absurdities in the world around us. Now I don’t have to open up a web browser and I can click and scroll. About time!

Reading this just makes my day. I completely enjoy reading these articles. Such a creative style to write in and so refreshing to get in this world of news that’s all doom and gloom. They just have a knack for saying what everyone’s thinking anyway. Definitely a must have app for the Home Screen news section!

Choppy stories, Restricted commentary. Stories are often fun to read, and hold a conservative perspective. Not a whole lot of new content daily, which makes the subscription price absurdly high. Only value of subscription is the ability to read and participate in commentary.

Great content, way too many ads. Love the content but sometimes I can’t finish an article due to the moving of the text on the page as more or different ads load. And now an ad video plays when I start to scroll. They are only going to add more ads in annoying ways to pay for any new growth of the company.

The perfect news source. NotTheBee is the most incredible news source this side of the original Pennsylvania Gazette. Their satirical but truthful approach to both political and everyday news brightens my day and informs in all aspects of life as a human being. They continue to be an unbiased news source that provides both hilarious and informational commentary regarding all political stances. If you don’t give NotTheBee a try you can’t truly say you are open minded to others ideas and methods. Congrats NotTheBee, You have perfected the online news format.

Too many adds. The adds make this app almost non functional. Videos pop up as your trying to read the articles. I can’t even get a few sentences in without having to refresh the page. Lately it’s gotten worse and I end up closing the app after reading a few headlines. I miss DSRN.

Replaced all social media for me!. I love this app and the Content they post. I can keep up on major current events, and also see some funny, crazy or outrageous videos. All with a nicely edited Christian viewpoint.

A Fun App for Quirky News and Social Media. Notthebee riffs on the success of it’s well known and successful sister website: The Babylon Bee. The unique twist is that most of the stories at NTB are in fact real news stories that seem as though they could be satirical. Articles are a broad mix of serious and silly topics - all written in a witty, interesting format (often combining gifs and memes to emphasize the author’s expression). In addition to being a fun place to snag some offbeat news, subscription NTB membership comes with access to a rapidly growing social media community. Fun features include the ability to add friends or simply follow another (this distinction can be used to hide/show aspects of personal info), post gifs/pics/memes, create polls and add or join unique groups (similar to other popular popular platforms). This app makes reading headlines and sorting through social media notifications simple and painless. Well done NTB.

Leaving all other social platforms to the greatest extent possible. I have been a paid subscriber for 6 weeks. This place is amazing and I love it! The app functionality is so fun, they change things up, and it’s like a big online party. I have made fast friends with a lot of people and I love the ad free experience. There is even a social podcast to get to know others on the site. 10 stars!

Could be so much better. The content is GREAT! However, could we please have it display without so many links? I can barely scroll through an article without finding myself accidentally clicking a link that sends me someplace else. Content shifts up and down my screen while I’m trying to read an article because so much stuff is trying to load…

Only app to own!. If I had made this app I couldn’t have done it any better. I can get all my news and social media done in one place. The articles are hilarious and the community is respectful and fun to interact with. It’s also a great app!

Actually THE Best App in the Store. The news makes me crazy. Angry, and crazy. However, getting my news from Not the Bee let’s me stay informed and keep my stress level low(er). Added bonus is the social side of the app, especially in COVID times, is incredibly valuable, even if you aren’t in lockdown. My favorite app on my iPhone, and I actually have it on all my iOS devices. So grateful for the blessings that are TBB and NtB! ❤️

Before it is taken away.... I downloaded this app before the censors decide to “cancel” it too. Though my reviews are often cancelled by the powers that be at the App Store. The censors are never the good guys. Not the Bee is extraordinary in finding things that seem like they should be on the Babylon Bee, but are actually real, not satire.

Please fix this app.. I appreciate the content of Not The Bee, but this app is horrible. There are a ton of ads that are constantly loading and either covering part of the screen, or moving the text I’m trying to read. Of course, that’s only a problem when the app actually loads. Most of the time, the app crashes while it’s loading so there’s no opportunity to be annoyed by the ads.

100% satisfaction. Love this site! Being a conservative Christian, I enjoy and trust sites that share my values, let alone being humorous and lighthearted (most of the time). A little laughter and happiness goes a long way in today’s society. Thanks Not The Bee!

My only social media. This app quickly replaced my Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and even Reddit apps. I check it every day in my spare time for the latest crazy, funny, interesting, and insane news stories of the moment. My only complaint is directed to the developers of the app: please make it smoother! I get that you have to include a ton of ads in the app but at least make it so they don’t keep messing up where I’m at in an article as I’m scrolling so I have to find where I was again. In some cases, the entire screen will go blank and I have to reload the page to get back to the article. I’ve even had it happen mid-video, very annoying. Keep up the great work!

Too many ads. There’s so many ads that the stories keep bouncing around and it’s almost impossible to read them.

Awesome content. Buggiest app on my phone. There are weird pop up ads everywhere. They take a while to load and when they do the screen shifts all over the place. Often the article I open just won’t load any content until I swipe down to refresh and sometimes that doesn’t work either.

Bug Fix Plz. Team, please fix the bug on iOS where it kicks you out of videos and your place on an article every time an ad refreshes. Other than that, keep trying to bring sobriety to a fallen world. May the peace of Christ guide your paths.

Honest & Entertaining News. I use this news source daily to stay informed with what is happening on the worlds stage. The premise of Not The Bee is that what is happening in the world is really to crazy to actually be true. The unfortunate reality is that what they report on is in fact realities of our world. I would recommend Not The Bee to anyone no matter what their political affiliation.

A Fine News Source. Good layout. Good news. Doesn't force you to make an account unless you want to use online services. Shows all of their news articles in one place. Haven't seen any ads yet. For an app that shows the hypocrisy of politics in quality I give it a solid 5/5.

Buggy app. The texts and photos disappear from sight while using this app. This app has become unusable. I love the news on this app but it simply does not work.

Love it but WOW so many ads. I love Babylon bee and their content. I check Not the Bee most often of all my social apps. But the thing is inundated with ads, I can’t even read an article without the page skipping and jumping around loading ads. Super annoying and makes me just leave the article without finishing it.

My favorite social media platform!. They do not miss a beat with their articles lol what a great group of writers. Devs listen to feedback and constantly make improvements. When I had an issue with following users they found & fixed the bug that same day! 👌 But my favorite part is the attached soc media! Can’t believe how nice everyone is, especially since it *is* still the internet.

Biblical worldviews on what once was satire. NTB delivers a splattering of news stories accompanied by — sometimes a lot — and sometimes a little commentary. Commentary that makes me feel less alone when consuming the everyday and the unbelievable. The clowns are clearly in charge but NTB helps us know that somewhere out there on the interwebs we have a reliable voice and that voice is most certainly Not The Bee.

Best social media in existence. I spend waaaaaay too much time on this app, but that is because it is so mind bogglingly awesome! It is not only a news app, but there is an entire social side for subscribers (and yes, there is a free trial version). It is filled with hilarious, fun, quirky folk who love memes, GIFs, debates about food and theology, and so much more. It is the most caring online community I’ve ever been a part of, and the developers are *very* responsive to any issues that come up. If you download this app, please don’t cheapen your experience by just reading the articles. Take the effort to at least check out the free trial that’s available and find out for yourself how amazing it is. Who knows? You may even get to meet some cool people!

Best news app. Period.. Hear all the stories you’re missing. Legit. Yes they have a spin toward a traditional world view, but that doesn’t mean that a story won’t impact your life. If it is true… it is true.

Enjoy the app but it has issues!. App doesn’t open, will force close constantly when trying to open, and the stupid ad for “a burning cargo ship “ always hijacks the screen, jumping the screen around, extremely annoying.

The 2nd Best Thing in Media (Babylon Bee Reigns Supreme). Not the Bee is an incredible place to find out about all the crazy things going on in the world that you might not otherwise hear about, and small stories that are very important and wouldn’t typically get featured. Love the mix of serious and funny/uplifting!

Great content. App needs some help, ruined by ads.. Most people that download this app probably love the content already. I’m here to talk about the app itself: Layout is fine, but navigation is a little tough some times. My wishlist of changes would include a sort option, easier transition to “next” article, and general navigation improvements. My biggest issue with your app is the ads. They often force the page to adjust spacing, causing the page to “jump” and making it difficult to read the article. Sometimes certain ads will make the page reload. This is especially bad when there are imbedded tweets, which also reload, and the page goes nuts. I understand you are involved in journalism as a way to make a living and ads are necessary, but please work with your advertising group to make sure the ads don’t interfere with use of your app.

The Friendliest People. From the first day I joined, people followed me & invited me to join groups. There are great discussions & a lot of tongue in cheek parody. All are polite; offer advice when needed; pray for their fellow Bees; and, in general, have fun getting to know each other. I’m glad I joined. NTB is my second home. ❣️

Good, but could use a major improvement. Really easy way to access interesting and important news stories. However the number of ads, and more importantly their placement in the middle of articles, that are plastered all over every page makes it hard to read.

Keep informed with laughter. As a paid subscriber (no ads) I love the site and the app does a solid job of delivering much the same as a mobile experience. Room for improvement to be sure but they keep refining the app. Keep up the good work, gang!

Love the news, hate the app.. I love not the bee. Honestly, I do. But wow your ads are getting terrible. It has gotten to the point the videos literally invade and take over your screen so you have to back out of them over and over again. And not to mention for being Christian and conservative some of them are downright inappropriate. Don’t mean to be so harsh, and I know you guys have to make money. I’m cool with some ads. But this is getting out of hand.

My favorite app!. This community is by far the greatest community I’ve been a part of online.. and I’ve been online since 1998! There’s fun, there’s laughter, there’s cordial discussions, not to mention jest battles of anything you can imagine. If you have a hobby or an interest, there’s a group for it. If you need support, you’ll be flooded with love and prayer. If you love to argue over whether pineapple on pizza should exist or not, this is your place. With all that’s going on in the world right now, this place has softened my tension and broadened my circle. I love Not the Bee. You will too. 🐝💕

Great work to you guys!. Get rid of the new inserted video clips and ads blocking articles and stuff, I’m literally reading about soldiers being killed by terrorists, while some cringy lady is acting silly, directly above the article while blocking the first few lines even after I tap on the x to remove it. Super lame and I’d even say disrespectful

Love the app, but the ads!. I love NTB, it’s my favorite news source but the issue with the ads is getting out of hand. I can’t even make it through a story anymore without ads loading and re-loading and either moving the text, jumping back to the top of the article, or crashing the app. I would give this app a million stars if the issue with the ads was fixed, but it makes it nearly unusable!

Summarized what is going on. watching the news and headlines, not the bee accurately shows a biblical perspective of what is happening. The ads are annoying, but it is worth the reads.

Amazing content and honest news, but bad UI. I absolutely love NotTheBee, they have the most honest news and even funny highlights. The only issue I have is with the interface. Nearly every time I open an article and start to scroll down, it refreshes and snaps back to the top of the article. I wait a little bit and scroll down again only for it to do the same thing! It does this 3 times usually while I tru to read an article. Maybe this is specific to my device, I'm on an Iphone 7. Please fix this bug and keep up the good reporting! Also, could you allow us to at least see the comments without a subscription? I get not allowing us to post without paying but it would be nice to hear what others think. Many thanks!

Great sarcasm and good entertainment. This app nails it with the issues of the day. I no longer read the dreary news unless there’s something on the BB than needs backup info. The app itself works great along with its companion “it’s not the bee” app.

The is great but. After using the app it gives like a free trial you can stay on the app it literally kicks you out and makes you subscribe. I already have it so if you’re not subscribe, you can’t see page subscribers messages why not leave a free version for people it makes no sense.

Finally, a social app that brings weird news to you. For lovers of the Babylon Bee, there is news out there so weird you would expect it to be from the Bee, but it’s real. Not The Bee captures those items, and provides a social network where lovers of these insights can thrive together.

A Home for Weary Thinkers. Just when I thought the online world was made up of twerking, obscene, self-centered loons intent on bringing down faith, family, and our Republic, I found Not the Bee. Real news in a timely fashion, delivered with humor, insight, sanity, and a Christian sense of grace. Respectful discourse and uplifting commentary is encouraged. Not the Bee is a gem.

Great app... other than the ads. This app is a great app- one that I go to multiple times a day for news, especially for stories I might not find elsewhere. My only point of contention is that the ads seem to mess up the articles- to the point now today that I can’t even finish an article because the ad keeps flipping off and on, or appears then disappears then appears again, which constantly moves me up or down the text of the story while reading and scrolling. I definitely appreciate the content you bring to the end user and the ability to get it from an app. Fixing the issue mentioned above would allow me ti add that final star to an otherwise great product.

Hilarious. If you have a sense of humor and can laugh at both sides of the political spectrum then you’ll love this app. If you’re a partisan with no intellectual honesty you’ll probably hate this app.

Good content-Annoying ads and glitches. Removed app from phone. Would have been a great app if I could read the articles, but ads take over the app and the articles can no longer be opened when “clicked”. Shame. Best of luck and hope you can correct tge problems so it is usable and less annoying.

Ads, ads, more ads. Too many ads plague the app and site, with differing and changing sizes and looks, sometimes blending with the stories, other times cause if crashes and scrolling issues. Fix it. We know you deserve to get paid for the great work you do. Just make them less obnoxious to the readers so we don’t hesitate to come here.

HILARIOUS. This is almost as funny as the original. Every time I read one of these articles I can’t help but laugh. If your not a republican I don’t recommend though.

Crashed when adding a pic. I click on “edit profile”, selected chose file, and when I did, it crashed.

Brilliant.. App is slick and easy to use and attracts people who appreciate logic, reason and facts. In that latter point it achieves something that other social networks can only dream of.

Not the Bee App Is Finally Here! Praise the Lord!. I was elated to see that my favorite website now has an app! It is now much easier to access it! And it’s the best app on the planet!

The Bees Knees. If I have to get bad news, I’ll have the order of Satire with a large order of incredible wit, comedy, and excellent writing.

Love Not the Bee. I was a fan of The Onion back in the day. I lived in Madison, WI when it was a funny newspaper. Then it became a sermon on self righteousness. Dreary. Solipsistic. Boring. I’m thankful that Not the Bee doesn’t spare anyone. Don’t change!

Loading ads are terrible!. This review is for the app not the content. The page resets every time the ads at the top finish loading. I'm constantly in the middle of the article or scrolling on the homepage and it kicks me to the top when the ad finally loads. Soooo annoying!
