App doesn’t work. I’ve been trying to use this app but every time I leave the app and go back in it says it has disconnected. The videos there don’t even work for me at all. How do I fix this issue?

won’t react to music 😭. It’s a great product and everything in the app works but i’ve watched countless tutorials and my light stick still won’t connect to music, i’m not sure if it’s something with the app or a different issue but that’s my only problem. Other than that the app does everything it should. 👍

Keeps disconnecting. I can’t get the light stick to play along/react to the Ice Cream Vimeo video. Even within the app it keeps disconnecting. The light stick starts off working along to the song then it just stops because it disconnects even though I’m still within the app.

It’s connected but not updating. I think many people bought recently have same issue. Is it app issue?

stopped working. i got my lightstick in for the show and it connected the first time i tried it and when i tried connecting it again it tells me “lightstick has be disconnected” when i try to play music

Amazing, but doesn’t work sometimes. Hi YG and everyone who wants to download this app! I suggest you read before downloading this. Basically, i finally got my dream lightstick, and i was super excited to connect my lightstick to my device, so i got my iPad, and then did blink mode! I thought blink mode would take several tries, but its actually not very complicated. Anyways, blink mode works. But here is the REAL part. Whenever i wanna connect my lightstick and want it to do rainbow lights on my lightstick, it doesn’t work. Sometimes it says “your lightstick has been disconnected.” It sometimes works. I don’t know why, it might be just me..or the app. I’m not sure! But anyways, great lightstick and app. Thank you for reading YG and other people that are about download this. 😇🖤💗

It’s good but it could be better.. The functions are fine on the app with the lightstick, but I feel like there could be so much more to offer. For one, getting to choose colors through the Bluetooth mode would be fantastic and a mode to blink (see what I did there) to songs other than just Ice Cream would be nice too. The options are somewhat limited with the app that there’s kind of no point to an app at the moment. I hope more will be added in the future.

hi i don’t usually do this. so i finally got the light stick limited edition and i was so excited to connect it to the app but whenever i try it says “light stick not found” i’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and every time i try again the same thing keeps happening it won’t connect i really would like to connect it and yes i have my light stick on bluetooth mode and bluetooth is enabled on my phone.

Lighstick Won't update. I tried so many times connecting the lightstick to my phone. It always says "latest firmware available, lightstick is being updated, please wait" but it's always stuck to 0%. Why is it not updating???

It works with Apple Music !. I really love the stick and been able to used it with my Apple Music subscription is awesome ! The only thing is that sometimes it doesn’t connect. Also, it will be super cool if all the songs of BLACKPINK work with the stick. Like for example “Sour Candy” or the other albums !

What this app is used for.. LOL so everyone is getting really confused on what this app is used for as you see in the reviews and I just wanna tell you what it is. So basically this app is for the BLACKPINK light stick. You know the hammers (not real) that you shake around at a concert. So if know what I’m talking about you know that they came out with a second version and this is the app to control it. Now I don’t have the BLACKPINK I think I even have the first version I don’t have any light stick for BLACKPINK, but I do know that this is the app for Bluetooth and stuff like that. Blackpink. I love this app but how do you work this app

Stopped working!. It was going so well until I did the latest firmware update. It got stuck and never fully completed. Now whenever I open the app and try to connect to the lightstick via bluetooth, it always fails to find the lightstick. Other people are also experiencing this issue, so it has to do with the app (hopefully not the lightstick!). Please fix it :(

It is ok… but confusing. The light stick is ok and I can change color but it doesn’t play music I am really confused can some help me?

2 firmware updates, second one frozen. App is clearly connecting to my light and does fine during the first firmware update, but once I hit “ok” for the next step, it starts a second firmware update (with Korean writing where it previously indicated my percent progress) and it just remains at zero percent while the light keeps blinking blue (during first firmware update it remained solidly blue throughout update). Please help! We bought this version bc of the Bluetooth capabilities. If I could get the app to connect, I would love to be able to give this a higher rating. It is a cool product if the software worked and if there was an easier way to contact the manufacturer for customer support.

Unable to connect. Last time my light stick was not able to be updated. Now, It has been completely updated but not be able to connect! Please fix As soon as possible !!!!

Doesn’t fully work. Okay, so I got the lightstick after wanting it for literally years, was so excited to try out all the features!! It connected to the app fine, and I could control the lighting on there as it should, but then I read that it could sync to special music videos. Cool, right? I tried on every music video that was made for the Light Stick on Vimeo and it never. Reacted. EVER. I tried all the songs, turning up the volume all the way to where my ear drums were gonna blow off, all I got were tiny beeping sounds that were really high pitched coming from either the speakers or the stick. Could anybody tell me why my stick won’t react to their music videos? Thanks.

Stuck in an update limbo. Hello! I was so excited to try this light stick as I’m a HUGE BLACKPINK fan. However, the light stick connects to my phone via Bluetooth but it won’t connect to the app. It updates the firmware and then instead of going to the mood lighting option it goes to a screen that says “press the button long to turn on” (which just shuts it off) or “double click button for blue tooth” (which I’m already in) it just keeps updating but I never get the mood lighting option. Maybe it’s an app bug? I’m not sure but I don’t know where to go with help for this so I’m coming here. CAN YOU PLWASE DO AN UPDATE TO FIX THIS???? PLEASE????????

Horrible app. This app is horrible. I had to try 3 different phones to get it to connect to the light stick. I can’t get the music video in the app to open. For $70 light stick and to only have 1 song available to interact with the stick & to have the app not even work what a waste of money. Parents avoid this light stick and this app not worth it.

Updates Over and Over Again. I’ve been struggling for awhile now and I hope this can gain some attention so someone can help me😭 Somethings I noticed differently from what I’ve seen online: 1. When u go in, for me the OT4 pic on the top is the shut down concept photo instead of LSG. This even the pics under the app description is the LSG era so idk if the app update had a problem or something but that’s one thing I noticed. 2. On the bottom, it saids connect to BP lightstick v2 instead of BP lightstick Detect. 3. My updating takes so much faster than what I’ve seen online. Afterwards, it said to hold and press button to turn on and double click to enter Bluetooth mode even tho it was on and on Bluetooth mode the entering time. And then the cycle continues and I update over and over again… Idk what to do right now and I actually found out I’m not the only one struggling with this… Can someone please help me tysm🥲🥲🥲

LIGHTSTICK isn’t playing with the music. This is my experience with the LIGHTSTICK v2 bought it to support the girls, but the light stick seems a little low budget and isn’t working very well. Things that’s working: the 3 different types of pink light mode. What I’ve encountered: LIGHTSTICK shut off and doesn’t work by itself, it saids its connected but doesn’t connect to the music? If you leave the app (specifically for the LIGHTSTICK), it will disconnect immediately, even if you’re going to the websites that the app listed for you to connect. Have been trying all different kind of ways multiple times, it doesn’t connect to the music. If anyone know how to fix it, please let me know, thanks!

Connect to the music. Just like most of the other reviews, I am having the same issue when it comes to reacting. Everything else works fine, it connects to the app, I can control the brightness etc. But every time I want to connect to a reaction mv it does not work! This is very frustrating. I have tried multiple ways none have worked. Please fix this. If anyone can help me please do!

Bluetooth mode is not working. So I recently got my light stick, when i went to connect to bluetooth and it said it was updating and told me to turn it off then turn it back on, and it will repeatedly keep updating and won’t connect. I thought it was my devices problem so I had downloaded it on my iPad as well and it didn’t work. I thought maybe it’s because i download the app after it updated so I waited for the app to update again and it still wouldn’t work. Hopefully they will fix this issue soon.

Lightstick. I love the lightstick but It won’t let me connect whenever I press connect it says “There’s no lightstick found” and I press the button on the lightstick 2 times and it still won’t work, can someone help me pls?

It doesn’t react to MuSic!!. Its been a month since I bought my lightstick and yes it connects to the app but then, it disconnect when I go to Different apps. Also It doesn’t react to any Blackpink songs!!! I tried everything to update it. I even took the batteries out and used a charger cord to update it and I also use a speaker so it could hear it better, but it just doesn’t work!! I’m going to Blackpink tour soon. I need someone to help me fix this. Please let me know if someone could help.

the app is great im just really confused. this is my first ever lightstick and im seeing them in august, however just recently when i use the color dial it doesnt stay that color. it does for like a second but then goes back to the original pink. it also doesnt sync up to any songs and ive tried everything from born pink and some earlier songs, but nothings working😞super scared its not gonna work at the concert💔

Firmware update problems. Connects to my lightstick then begins to update. The update will finish and tells me to “long hold press” and then it will turn off and back on and begin updating AGAIN. It will repeat this. Please fix.

Would complete update but won’t connect. As stated in the title, light-stick just won’t connect to the app. The first time I tried to connect it, it was stuck at 0%. After a month or so of forgetting about this, I tried again to be surprised that the percentage finally moves. But, to be just stuck in a loop of keeping to download an update.

Please add support for the limited edition version!!. I'm unable to update my limited edition version of the lightstick (bought in 2020), so the Bluetooth connectivity features do not work! The lightstick will connect and glow a solid blue but that's it. Apparently I can fix this by using an older version of the app to update it, but I'd rather have the developers fix this than hack my phone. Please fix this!!!

App does not work.. The app does not allow connecting a light stick :( I tried to click connect but it keeps telling me to check my internet collection. My internet is fine. Even my mobile data. All other apps work with them except this app. I tried restarting my phone multiple times. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app 3 times yet it still wont work. LIGHTSTICK. My LIGHTSTICK used to connect to the app but never reacted with the songs. But know with the new update it dosent connect like it updates and then ask like (press the button twice to enter Bluetooth mode after like stick turned on) so I press the button twice and then it restarts the update all over again. Someone pls help is there an number we could contact for help ?

Lightstick V2. Last Saturday I just got my very own the Blackpink hammer lightstick and it was working very well on MV! I got it right on the Middle of Born pink world tour concert in Hanoi Vietnam! and I really enjoy the tour and also I really enjoy love even the interaction and also the best songs possible . I’ll keep it as a souvenir hey, seriously I’m a blinks ya know. huge shout out to YG family.

Doesn’t connect. No matter what I do my lightstick doesn’t connect. It just says ‘no lightstick found’ From the second I got the lightstick and tried to connect with the app it hasn’t worked. I wasted my money buying this thing. The BTS lightstick never had this many issues.

Works Well - Not MV Reaction. The lightstick connects, turns on, and can be changed by the settings through your phone which is great! The only issue I have is that whenever I use the Vimeo MVs, nothing happens. Overall works great!

Problems 😭. Why is my Lightstick not turning blue, I made sure I had Bluetooth on my phone and it was on. When I clicked it twice it stayed pink and didn’t turn blue.

Not working, always stays “progress” at % on new firmware update. After connected to the stick, it shows a message “light stick update” but the progress status always is 0%. This happened both in my iPhone and ipad. I checked my internet connection is good and using the app latest version. Very disappointed, I spent hundred dollars for the stick but is not working! Add more music videos. I love this it works great it does awesome music videos on my reaction but add more music videos the other one aren’t there so add them please other then that great

It always stays at 0%. I did it overnight, still nothing.. The thing is, it would work. Try to connecting it to Bluetooth first and if it says "progress 0%" leave your device, turn off the LS and then turn it on, then press it twice. After that, it would go until 100% (it happened to me) The problem is, its updating yet the light indicator is pink not blue (which is weird) As it goes to 100% it won't show any notifications that its been updated. It will only say 'Ok' Still no music response.

I watched a video on YouTube, my light stick version 2 doesn’t seem to do the same things and the app seems to be lacking. After it connects, I don’t think it stays connected when I close the app? MV sync worked once…. I just received my lightstick. 2 days ago. I just wanna play the song and watch the light show. It disconnects after connecting and hitting back to play the youtube videos. Tried on 3 separate devices and same result

almost a 5 star application. as much as I do love the light stick the bluetooth connections aren't as good. when you leave the application it automatically disconnects and doesn't allow the mood light to stay functioning. I would love for the light stick to be automatic when it comes to pairing without having to press the button twice every time to pair. for the people who need to know with trying to get the light stick to react to a song the only method is the Ice Cream music video on Vimeo. I tried YouTube and Music and Vimeo is the only way for the light stick to react so far. I do hope this gets better before the concert on the 27th.

Can’t react to born pink album on spotify. Hi YG! I just updated the latest version of the app but it can only react to some song of the older song on Spotify but not the new Born Pink Album.
