Uninteresting and Luck-based. The game is breaking down towers of slightly bouncy blocks, sometimes fulfilling specific requirements. Those extra requirements are often easy to miss if the tower collapses on itself, which it often does due a less than good physics sim. There’s very little challenge in the game, just reload the tower and hope that it doesn’t chain react before you pop 25 purple blocks. Also saw the physics straight up break, blocks floating in impossible configurations, blocks getting pushed inside other blocks, etc. Plays like your average freemium garbage, not an apple arcade game

Fun but so resource intensive. I am addicted to this game!! I agree with other reviews the mechanics are poorly explained, but I enjoy playing enough that I don’t mind repeating a few levels to figure out what seems more effective (match more vs have more fall, focus on getting to the bottom vs other objectives, etc). My big complaint is that it’s so resource intensive that my device (iPhone X) gets insanely hot and the battery drains really fast. I have it on lowest graphics - don’t know if it’s the rendering or the computation or what.

Fix level 139!. New Update: They need to fix level 139 already!!! To pass you need to get 30 gray blocks BUT there are no gray blocks on that level making it unpassable!!! Updated Update: They came out with an update that fixed the crashing problem I had. Thanks for the quick fix! Update: I updated and now I can not play any more because the app crashes every time I try to start the next level. My wife did not update hers and she’s still playing just fine. This is more along the lines of what I was hoping Apple Arcade would be. A fun game with simple game play that I’m not constantly running out of hearts or whatever and having to wait for them to restore or else make a micro transaction. Just play as long as you want and have fun. This great! Hopefully more games like this will be coming.

should be able to skip levels. If you get stuck, that’s it; no way to continue playing. There should be a way to skip levels or mark them complete, or at least a hint system or a difficulty setting. Boosters are too expensive (or put another way, you don’t earn enough coins per game). So you use up all your boosters trying to get past an impossible level, and you’re left with no coins, no way to buy boosters, no way to progress. In fact, the only reason I’m sitting here writing this review is because I don’t want to play the same level for the tenth time trying to get past it, and so essentially the game is over for me and all that’s left is for me to leave this review. update: lowered the rating to one star because something’s gotta give: fix the physics or increase the ball count per level (or better yet, just get rid of it) or make boosters more effective or lower the booster cost, etc. There are so many ways the devs could fix it and turn it into a five star game.

Fun at first, less as you go. If this were not an Apple Arcade game, I would rate it lower. The first levels were a lot of fun, and I really enjoyed it. I like that it syncs better my phone and iPad. When I got to about level 35 it changes nature from being a fast, joyful, blast-away game to being one that needs planning and timing that includes sitting and waiting for the right moment. As I go further, success on a level depends a lot on luck, too. If the blocks of given colors don’t align properly, it can be impossible to get three stars. Just keep playing for the right happenstance. The result of this is that it is a game I like less the more I play it. On the other hand, I didn’t pay any money for it, either. Apple Arcade makes it so it’s easy to play a game until it is no fun any more and move on. I am almost to the point of moving on. It is just more of the same every level only less fun after each victory.

Great graphics..Awesome fun game.. I love this game. The graphics are the best I’ve ever seen. The main issue I have with the game and I only have a couple as it is. The first is no option to use points earned to buy items to help me win a level that I naught be having trouble with. Also, the new editions are super slow to open after completing a level. I have done with sweetonia for Wells mile but it still says coming soon. But overall great game.

Great with some Bugs. I enjoy the game a lot. Can be simple fun. Though the rewards for knocking down huge sections is so small for such big setups. The bugs are the worst of it, but don’t happen often enough to ruin the game entirely. Like hitting a block, getting points for breaking it, but the block stays. Hitting a group but some of the blocks in a group don’t break. Breaking a supporting block but nothing collapses, leaving you with massive structures that have a single block impossibly holding them up (though waiting a full minute will often result in this structure swaying until it falls out).

Update. So the dev responded asking that I give the another go. After 4 days of retrying, I’m still stuck on level 62 with the same issue. All the sudden, blocks will fall directly down with the row falling over like every other level has been. It takes me 25+ balls to get past the first level. I’m on level 62 so it’s not like I’m an idiot. Also, when hitting multiple blocks with the same color, only 2 or so out of the 5 of 6 will actually be impacted. It makes no sense since this problem only happened after getting passed level 60. So either the game is rigged or there is some faulty coding going into level 62 some how. Either way, pass on this game. It’s fun at first but obviously has some issues.

Phone killer. First and foremost, this game eats battery life like crazy. I had a brand new battery installed last week; this phone takes 10+% battery PER LEVEL. Phone gets very hot, and does a random screen-dim-screen-bright thing. Super sketch. The game itself is pretty fun at first. A fun, refreshing concept, poorly executed. After 40 or so levels, it forces you to work against the physics that set it apart from other match games. The scoring/point system makes no sense. It feels unfinished. I have not gotten stuck on any levels (currently on lvl 94), I am not frustrated by the difficulty of the game, I’m just disappointed.

Unintuitive, obtuse puzzler. I have a degree in physics and I still can’t figure out why things fall over or not in this game. The graphics and animation are great, but the “physics” is a complete mystery to me after 29 levels. I deleted it after about a dozen levels, but saw a bunch of good reviews and played the rest to see if it could grow on me. It has utterly failed to do so. I did figure out that coins are acquired by clearing large sets of a single color and that having extra blocks fall off is only good for points, but still am not sure what determines how many points each of those extra blocks are worth, but think it may have to do with the number of blocks you eliminated. I also have no idea what triggers the end of the level. There are so many things that I have not figured out that the mediocre gameplay and trivial use of dragons (which featured prominently in the advertising that interested me in the first place) have pushed me to delete it again and permanently.

Loads of fun. One bug that can ruin your score.. This game really is a ton of fun. It’s basically Jenga but you are aiming for the complete opposite. But there is one problem that is constantly killing my score. Once you get towards the bottom of the tower and you tap the block you want to shoot at, instead, most of the time, it will switch the block color between the two options you have on each turn. After a while of trying to tap as precisely as possible and it just switching every time I, more often than not, shoot the wrong color and use a shot that I did not intend. Given that a big part of the end level score is based on how FEW shots you use, this can be a bit of a frustrating issue. Perhaps tweaking the UI so the area tapped to trigger the shoot touch event is in the middle while the switch color touch event area is off to the side. The graphic could be a canister similar to those games where you are trying to break objects of the same color to get them to fall. Sort of like a loaded pinball machine. Might require a bit more model rendering and such but it would definitely fix the problem.

A fun game worth a look. This is a fun game and worth a look. I previously was a bit annoyed because of a game breaking bug I encountered but the developers fixed the issue pretty quickly and I’ve been having a blast since. The only real criticism I have is that the difficulty curve of the game seems out of whack. I’ll play a dozen levels back to back with barely a challenge and then get stuck on one level for quite a while, struggling to hit all objectives, let alone 3 stars - only to go back to super easy levels right afterward. Beyond that, I’d like to see something more akin to a “puzzle” mode - where you have to really think about how to take down the tower in a strategic way as opposed to the almost mindless levels that permeate the game right now. As satisfying as it is to take down each tower it gets a bit boring after a while because none of the levels really offer a puzzle-like challenge.

Fun, so far with a glitch. This is the kind of game you can get your fill of, and then a few hours later come back and enjoy some new levels. Physics and graphics are very good. I only had some issue using the mouse with an iMac. I could not fire the projectiles consistently. I would like further explanation of the scoring; couldn't find that in the app, but maybe somewhere else. Music can get annoying after awhile, but you can turn that off in the settings. With the mouse glitch fixed this would be a 5-star keeper!

AMAZING!!. So far so good! I just got this game and so far it’s amazing! It makes me so happy to play it. I like calm relaxing games like coloring games. Those are my favorite! But I also like matching games, like this one! Thank you so much for making this game! My sister showed me the game and I liked it so she gave me the title, and the next thing I know I’m downloading this game. I’m so glad I got this game. Thank you (again) so much for making this game and I’m not having any issues with the game I’m actually really Enjoying it! I’m am so happy my sis gave me the title! And if you listen to some soothing music (like BEATstrumentals on Apple Music) then play this game…..PERFECTION!!!

Love the game but!. I would give it 5 stars. Since this game only goes to 80 levels, I went back to the levels I didn’t get 3 stars and level 36 keeps crashing every time I try to play it and the game closes. I got 2 stars and now I want to get 3 stars. This is the only level for some reason that keeps crashing. I have 3 stars out of the 79 of the 80 levels. Please fix!! Also, why are there only 80 levels?

Strange balance steals the fun. At first, it’s a delightfully satisfying mix of block breaking and physics. Unfortunately, the designers didn’t seem to understand this unique joy. Way more points are awarded for big color matches instead of the more satisfying big topples. This creates a disconnect, encouraging more limited throws, and a frustration against the delightful physics! Worse still, like many match 3 games, it also makes the mistake of adding ‘tough’ and unbeatable blocks too early, mechanics that, combined with goals that also work against the physics, end up taking the fun out really early. A gem of an idea, and pure delight for 10-15 levels, ruined by product managers who thought they were creating a greedy free to play, instead of an Arcade exclusive. Should be two stars, but the concept and early levels are worth a bonus.

Update ruined it!. I never review games but I felt compelled. As I went through the first 36 levels I wished it would be a little bit more difficult but it was very satisfying and addictive. Sometimes too many walls fell too easily but I figured it could be tweaked. Then I faced a glitch trying to play level 37. I noticed an update available so I clicked it and afterwards level 37 opened up just fine. Then I couldn’t pass the level! I burned all my boosts while I tried about 5 more times. I only spotted the end of the level once and never had a prayer to get there. I then went back and took three times to re-pass level 36. Something obviously changed. Now instead of satisfying this game is frustrating. I’d imagine it’s difficult to determine the optimal difficulty setting in a format like this but hopefully this won’t be the final product.

Like the game, saves are lost. I like the game as a time waster and battery drainer. However, my progress continues to reset every day or two since the last update. Hoping Orbital Knight fixes this issue. Update: issue was resolved! I am happy to report that this has once again become a lovely time waster for me. When I want more serious challenges, I play something else. This game is cathartic and has dragons. Dragons are the best!

Getting better. This app is better than it was - much better. The level 60 bug is fixed, the physics seem to be much more realistic. With that said, there's a few things that could use some work: The blocks sometimes register direct hits as misses, and you can tell the game is still linking blocks that were originally connected when the tower was set up, but became disconnected after part of the tower was removed. I'll hit a block and it will remove blocks that it used to be connected to, even though they are no longer touching. The "side towers" aren't consistent in how you can get them to disappear. Most of the time removing the main tower below them is enough, but sometimes I've had to clear every block on them to get them to go away so I can get access to more of the main tower. The ranking should be based on cumulative score, not level completed. Once you hit level 80, you're done, and regardless of whether you three-starred every level or not your ranking won't change. Whoever got to 80 first is permanently in 1st place, and so on. Basing it on total score is better. Even when more levels are released, it'll just be a race to get to the top, instead of basing it on who did the best overall. Glad to see that the devs are improving this app - it could be one of the most fun apps on arcade if they fix all the little issues with it.

Really enjoyed until it stopped working. I have had this game since it first came out. I had beaten all 200 levels and the skyland part..some how it reset and started me back at level 136 and all of skyland was gone so needed to be redone. Out of nowhere, my game stopped loading. If I hit let’s play it just shuts off. I have updated the game and my phone so that isn’t the issue. I received no response when I reported this issue. I have finally decided to delete and reinstall which means I have to do the entire game again but at least I would hopefully be able to play. I did this and it still doing the same thing. It doesn’t get past the first page of signing in and it just shuts off. Very frustrating...maybe I will get a response after leaving a review

Enjoyable way to pass the time.. Prior to the last update, the game was challenging to the point of frustration. My wife and daughter were not pleased. After the update it got way easier which made my wife and daughter happy, but me sad. It would be great if there was a difficulty setting added to the game. But even without that, I enjoyed the game. I especially enjoyed listening to my youngest exclaim “I Fed The Dragon!!!” As she excitedly made her way through the challenges. :D

Good Game. I love match 3 games and was excited to see one coming to Arcade! I kept looking back almost every day to see when this game was going to be release. I downloaded it on day one and have enjoyed playing it. It’s a pretty simple and basic game which I love. There have been times where I move my phone hoping the the line of blocks would fall. 😂 Thanks for making an enjoyable game. My only suggestions is to add an option be able to see how you rank by score.

I never write reviews.... This is seriously the best match-3 game I have ever played. I read that some are having bugs; I haven’t come across any, but the game JUST came out so it will get patched over time. I love the mechanics of this game. The blocks feel so weighty, and each spire is a unique challenge. I just finished level 60 and I can’t stop playing. After playing 800+ levels on other free match-3 apps, this has been far superior to those. You don’t have to sit through annoying ads to continue playing or get tined out. You can just keep playing. I just came here to say give it a try.

A Refreshing Change for Arcade. An interesting twist on match 3 and bubble shooter type games with excellent gameplay and graphics. There is a lot more strategy to this game than initially meets the eye. Thoroughly enjoying it so far. Works great on an iPad. I am glad to see arcade is finally bringing games that have the potential to be engaging and have long time playability. I was growing tired of demo and half finished games. I hope the developers keep working on adding new features and updates. This could easily be up there with Grindstone.

Bad multiuser. There seems to be a bug in the support for multiple profiles. There is no way to name a profile, nor can you change the profile picture. This might be a manageable problem if profiles did not all use the same purple dragon as their default picture. So the only way to know which profile is yours is to remember the exact date and time you last played the game. Otherwise, they are indistinguishable. The game itself, though, is fun.

They fixed the issue with crashing. The crashing is fixed and the game is back to being great. This is one of my favorite types of games there is skill needed but it’s also fun and simple if you want it to be. The graphics are great. Colorful and crisp. I don’t know what they do with the audio but it is probably the best sound I’ve ever heard in a game. It makes full use of all the speakers on the phone or iPad and sounds like you have head phones on even when you are just holding it in your hand. Play this game you won’t regret it.

Scratches the match-3 itch!. A match-3 that doesn’t have ads and isn’t trying to sell me power ups to beat the extremely hard levels! You get enough coins to buy power ups yourself! For people experiencing crashes/freezes, I would recommend turning down the graphics settings. My newest iPad Mini had some frame rate drops on High so I turned it down to Medium. And both my iPad and 11 Pro get very warm playing this game too.

Update made all the difference! Fun game!. I’m not one to write reviews but I wanted to say many of the negative reviews were before the last update. I had many of those frustrations also but the most recent update has fixed a LOT of those problems. If anything it’s almost TOO easy now, which isn’t a bad thing in a game like this. This is now a very fun time waster. Some thought needed but not too much. Great game. And worth the Arcade sub this month!

Cute game, odd physics. Thank you for addressing the balance issues (literal and figurative) that followed a prior update. The game is relatively easy (now that it is fixed) but also relatively short. Some levels require strategy to win, others to get three stars. For most levels with a target of releasing chained blocks, you can ignore that target as it will be filled by 5h3 time you complete the level; some of the other goals must be completed earlier in the game or a level becomes unwinnable. (Perhaps levels should end when they become unwinnable?) I don’t know how developer compensation works, but from the slow release of new levels for other games I suspect that Apple should better incentivize the addition of content and levels to games in the arcade. I suggest letting people keep their boosters and coins if they restart the game, or warning when you click to start a new game that they will be lost.

It’s...a game?. It was fun for about 15 levels, and even then minimally fun. After that it’s just boring and repetitive as others have said. I’ve been playing it as my baby naps, and have gotten all the way to 64 without needing a power up, but I guess I have to be done, since level 64 crashes the game upon loading. Besides this grave programming error, there’s also a lack of physics to be found. I have shot a ball into a triplet of blocks and that somehow cascaded the entire tower. I’ve switched colors only for it to switch back on its own. I’ve hit blocks directly and had nothing happen. I don’t know why this is on arcade. It’s as basic as anything else on the App Store.

Good Game, Must Play!. Reminds me of Candy Crush but 3D. Great game with amazing graphics and smooth playing. Good FPS and and quality. Levels get increasingly harder as you go on, adding new blocks such as barriers and shield blocks, and objectives like feeding the dragon. The boosters are unique and add a nice turn to the game, cool to see how they work in 3D like this. Controls are nice too. Easy to maneuver and see around the building with ease. Overall amazing game , can't wait to play it more. Definitely one of the best games on my phone.

Had been fun, had been looking forward to the new levels.... Every tower is more wobbly than it had been, especially the higher level towers. Some can’t be completed without power ups. Some can’t even be completed *with* power ups. What had been a fairly chill puzzle game now feels like an impossible race to beat the goals before everything falls over. (Don’t take a puzzle game like this and turn it into a twitch game? Please?) Honestly, I feel like the goals in the game are a little strange. Making them _optional_ might make sense, and could open up an alternate play mechanic where the goal IS to see how quickly (time) or efficiently (fewest thrown balls) one can get to the bottom, the goals just being bonuses or there for replayability. But if I ground out forty and more of each power up waiting for the update to come out, and I’m actually burning through those “extras” several times faster than I can generate them and *still* stuck not being able to make those goals, something’s out of balance.

Inconsistent Gameplay. I did enjoy the game once I got to level 60 when the game kept kicking me out. Now the update... I have been trying to pass level 5 for 24 hours after starting a new game due to technical glitch. I am a adult over 50...... I thoroughly enjoy a challenge. However to go from one extreme to another is ridiculous. This game is supposed to be based on Physics. With the update it is discouraging to watch levels just drop and sway when in physics they should be knocked over. This game should challenge young minds to learn the laws of physics and gravity.... In addition challenge the more mature adults for fun. I’m very disappointed.

Full of great potential, but acrippling lack of feedback to the player. You just got nowhere close to 3 stars this level, what did you do wrong? No feedback. Will the next level almost give you 3 stars for free, or will it be so hard it all-out requires multiple powerups? Could be either. Both combos and leftover balls grant points, when’s it worth firing extra? Try to guess. Should you be trying to save balls for points here, or will you run out of any opportunity to collect certain blocks before the end? Better just painstakingly farm to be safe. Will three attempts in a row prove almost impossible due to bad luck? Sadly just have to hope. It could really be great, but currently there’s never a sense that you’re in control of your success, or have the information to play skillfully.

Great for quick fun. Can go for long or short periods of fun. Level 52 is obscenely difficult to get three stars and finish the level. Being a completionist and having only short periods to play during the day, it is hard to get over that hurdle. Pros: * Refreshing take on a block game. Really enjoy the format. * Physics are for the most part well balanced. * Variety of gameplay elements keep the concept interesting and positively challenging. Cons: * Level 52 is hard because the blocks topple easily. Other thoughts: The purchasable items are helpful and they can really help complete those levels. I, and maybe others, have been conditioned to not use items because of the micro transactions found in other similar games. It would help people like me to be more open to using the items if there was more emphasis on their usage. Like a little indicator that points to a block with an item icon as a tip.

Fun puzzle game. I enjoyed the game and played it straight through. The gameplay is smooth and the puzzles are interesting. I hope to see the game expanded with new levels and would welcome a randomized mode that just builds on-the-fly towers outside of the leveling system as this would be a great game to just zen out and play throughout the day as a diversion. There are a couple of issues. Like most AA games, there is nothing explaining how the game works, what objectives need to be met, nor how scores are calculated. Even after playing all the way through, there are things I’m not really sure about: why do shots sometimes seem to do nothing? Should I be trying to create cascading tower destruction or shoot while it’s crumbling to get higher scores? Why do adjacent blocks of the same color clear sometimes and not others? Why do the bombs clear for a hit next to them sometimes and not other times? I have no clue whether I should clear the balconies or focus on the main tower, neither seems to work particularly well with the available ammo. And, so on. Also, I’m not a fan of iPad games with a portrait orientation in general and prefer to play games in landscape. However, if it must be portrait, though, it should support upside-down so it can be played handheld while plugged in without having the cable stabbing you in the chest while you play.

What I was looking for from Arcade. Cute relaxing puzzle game, filling the “match-3 and similar” niche. The first 10 levels or so seem dumb and easy, but then the towers and requirements get more demanding, and strategic aspects come in. Could use some better instructions, but I’ve generally been able to figure things out, and of course the fact that the game isn’t holding you hostage for in-app purchases means that there’s no harm in experimenting or having to redo levels. I was just about to cancel my Arcade subscription after having signed up very early, because I kept waiting for some games like this and they’d never arrived. I’ll stick around for a few more months now, and hope that Apple has a few more in the works.

Fun, casual game. I find this to be a enjoyable game that’s not too challenging. I love the latest updates. It suddenly feels more full-featured, with lots extra things to do. Although, I’ve already received a notification reminding me that I haven’t played the game in a while and to remember to “feed the dragon.” I can understand wanting to drive traffic, but that wasn’t helpful and felt like spam to me. If all my apps started bugging me to use them, notifications would be a nightmare. Notifications for special events would make more sense. So I take off one star only for that. Otherwise it’s a five star game with notifications disabled.

Fix one problem, create another.... So I originally post a review critical of a bug that would cause the game to crash at level 60. This bug has been fixed, hence the 3 stars instead of 2. However, now there is a problem with sometimes when you hit a square it doesn’t register and it’s just a wasted shot, and also sometimes you hit a group and some don’t break while others do... not sure what the problem is, but it has definitely lessened my enjoyment with this game... was a 4-5 star game before these 2 bugs

Resolved: Crashes at Level 36. Update to my original review below: The most recent update has fixed the issue, so I’ve updated my rating from 1 star to 5 stars. I normally don’t like Match 3 games like Candy Crush because there are levels that seem near impossible without spending cash to buy boosts. I love this game, though! The levels can be difficult, but are not impossible. Original review: I was really enjoying this game up until I reached level 36. Every time I try to play the level, the game completely crashes on both my iPhone and iPad. I can play all of the previous levels without an issue. I’ve also tried hard-resets on both devices and neither one helped to resolve the issue.

Should be fun but isn’t.. I don’t know what’s up with this game. The first few levels make sense where you can target just the right blocks to get a chain reaction of toppling. After level 4 or so you get blocks just stacked vertically on each other so shooting out the bottom stack does...nothing. The blocks just drop straight down. You seem to get a smaller bonus from toppling large sets of blocks than just shooting 1 large block of color which takes away any strategy. To top it off, the game just slams you into a wall before level 10. No idea why it’s set up that you can get 3 stars and still fail a level. Apparently I just have to spam power ups. Seriously though, the worst design seems to be that the unbreakable blocks below (which impede your progress) are based on the location of the highest block above it, not the total number of blocks left. You can completely remove 75% or more of the available blocks and still the unbreakable ones down move down because one “spire” of 10 blocks is still tall.

Great Time Killer. I love that there are no annoying paywalls in the arcade games. I only wish for more visually appealing explosions, power ups for matches, and other exciting match combos that could/should happen. Three power ups that we purchase with in game money are nice, but I’d like a little variety in higher levels. I think it’d help add more of an addictive layer to this game, but what do I know; I’m not a programmer and not sure how easy it is to make such implementations. This game is awesome and I know a lot of hard work went into it. I look forward to more future updates. Currently working on lvl 49 and moving up pretty fast.

I want to love this game but I see its flaw. If I were to lose due to my own bad strategy, that’s okay. I will own up to that lose and try again. What really happens, let’s say you need to knock down reds and blues before the tower collapse, the game will rarely give you those colors. You would play normally until you realize the game is not paying fair. By the time it does give you those colors, it’s too late. I found myself deliberately hitting the wrong colors to avoid a collapse because the game takes too long to provide you with the colors you need. In the words of Shark Tank, for that reason only, I’m out. Fix that and I’ll happily come back. Let me lose because I targeted bad spots, like pulling the wrong block in Jenga. It does not happen every level but it happens enough to be annoying

Perfect Time Waster. It didn’t crash as others stated. Ran smooth, didn’t even heat up my iPhone. Great play! The graphics are perfect as expected and UI is easy extremely simple. After I got off 4 nonstop days and nights in the ER I struggled to sleep. Because of obvious reasons it was a tougher last day at work than usual with SARS-CoV-2. I got in bed, expecting to cry myself to sleep as per usual. No, I proceeded to shoot through to level 80 in one sitting. Pathetic behavior? Sure, but it was well earned. I thank you all for the time and effort you put in to this game, offering it to Apple Arcade and giving me a giant escape from the daily reality of my job. This is greatly appreciated.

Fatal Error - Update 2. Nope. Now I’m seeing issues on level 61. Before the update, every once in a great while the blocks wouldn’t register a ball hit, and I thought maybe I didn’t quite touch where I meant to. Now on level 61 I had one ball squarely hit the correct square and not register the hit but take away the ball. 2 shots later I had 2 purple blocks on top of each other, neither was caged, and the ball only made one of the blocks disappear. I played a little more of the level and it has happened 3 more times now. Blocks stacked on top of each other and only 1 disappearing. Yeah the more I play that level the worse it gets. It’s impossible to beat when the hits don’t register and the blocks disappear only some of the time.

hypnotic physics, huge love, except…. This game is amazing and with a little play becomes absolutely riveting, with the physics of it being the feature that makes it wonderful to watch and fun to try to beat. Still, very annoying that far too often, a touch to shoot is misinterpreted as a drag. Even if I’m extremely careful to make simple, brief taps, a good percentage of the time nothing happens. Frustrating scoring. Doesn’t seem to matter how well I do on, for instance, level 58, but I never get close to 3 stars, despite more than doubling the score of a YouTuber who got three. It’s just inexplicable. I’ve looked at every metric and bested everyone with a 3 star video, and still, not even close to getting that third star. It does make the game much less fun that I can’t see where I’m going wrong.

Spire Blast’s unlucky number... 🤭. To be honest I had to think, twice about getting this game, I really underestimated it. I finally installed it and started playing. At first it was just what I thought it was, knocking down tower, but as I played on I discovered goals and power ups. And the levels got more challenging, I was stuck on level 22 for 49 minutes! 😆 It’s so interesting how knocking down a tower can be so hard! The graphics and animations are amazing, and I he never ran in to a glitch yet! Ever single level is a bit more challenging, but not in a bad way. It is also very creative, it kinda reminds of candy crush, but I would play spire blast instead anytime! This game is for anyone who likes squishing slime, or popping bubble rap because this game is extremely SATISFYING. This game is my new favorite, with “what the golf” and “lego brawls”. Week later: I reach level 36 an as soon as click play, the game crashes, I tried like millions of times, nothing helps... (I am playing on a iPad 14, I dunno the details.) This really disappoints me because this game is so fun, and I am going to have too wait until you devs fix it. Sadly I also re-gave this game three starts, because of this glitch, from five stars, to three...

I want to review Apple Arcade as a whole.. As for the stars, those are for this game. It plays like it was supposed to be a pay-to-play game but I’m assuming that because the library for Apple Arcade is so slim that it was thrown in as filler. On that note, Apple Arcade needs more and better games that are worth the monthly fee. Not reprogrammed pay-to-play bomb shells. And there happens to be quite a few of them. One pac man game in the whole library and it’s only fun if you know someone who also has Apple Arcade, One sonic game and it’s sonic racing (enough said), and a version of Frogger that is almost as unplayable as the game I’m trying to review. On that note, Spire Blast is terrible. It’s a block matching game with poor physics that’s impossible to progress through unless you replay the first four levels over and over again to get power ups that do very little but move you three to four more levels ahead. It has an endless music loop that never changes and it feels less than gratifying when you beat a level. It’s a sad time waster that will leave you with no sense on accomplishment. Why was this game headlined? For a while it sat on top of the Apple Arcade page like it was a must have. This should have been buried under all the Apple Arcade games. Lastly, please give us a bigger library of good games, Apple Arcade. We pay you monthly for entertainment. Not “First game made by a developer in college” type games.

Can no longer get to later levels. Finished through world two and started the ocean levels. My son went back and played a few of the earlier levels in the first world on my phone and now it won’t let me continue past the next level after the one I’ve just completed. And I can’t even get to the second and third worlds at all as the play button is grayed out. A clear bug that’s been that way through at least one additional update cycle.

Battery drainer and now it won't launch. Update: I decided to try it again and even in energy saver and low graphics. Even worse, they've added some virtual pet garbage that gets in the way and can't be turned off. This feels like a free to play app that I half expect to start pestering me for microtransactions instead of an Apple arcade game. Removing it again, and this time, I won't be reinstalling it. Original review: Drains battery faster than any other game I've ever played on iOS and it makes the device get crazy hot. I beat a level earlier and it crashed right as it ended the completion animation, then all my apps would crash within a couple seconds of opening until I restarted the phone. Thankfully only this app will no longer open. It's a shame, because the game is fun. However, now I cannot play it, and frankly I'm tired of plowing through so much battery in the course of 30 or so minutes of play time during the few downtimes I get during the day. Plenty of other great casual games I can play that don't turn my device into a glorified hand warmer.

Can’t open the game. Have been playing for weeks and all okay. But now I launch and the game just closes after the initial credits. Help please.

Great casual gamer distraction!. In a world where so many games require a kind of persistent dedication, it's good to have silly distractions where you're doing one level and that's that. Back to work. Or off to the chores. This game helps Apple Arcade keep its promise. It says it's an arcade and this is what I remember arcades to be; lots of different games for all kinds of gamers. Am looking forward to seeing more games like this. Very smooth graphics. The physics are very realistic. This odd world of blocks falling apart is very satisfying.

From Elliot. I love this game/app

Gets boring. An ok game that gets repetitive and boring quite quickly.

Awesome. It is so amazing I love it

Fun but lost all progress due to buggy cross device save sync. As mentioned in the it’s a great game but the cross device cloud sync is buggy and poorly implemented. I’m bitter having lost progress on 30+ levels. Be warned.

Crash. Crashes on level 36 every time. iPhone 12 Pro

Fun, but very buggy. Fun, puzzle type game. But very buggy (game crashed repeated when a certain game level was reached). Not too different to other puzzle games.

Level 139. Level 139 requires the user to hit 30 white pieces. There are no white pieces in the tower, and the user receives no white pieces.

Zen but.... Why is it only 80 levels? Send me more!

Nice…. It’s fun but not very exciting. A bit repetitive. In other words, boring.🙄🥱😑😐It is satisfying but I wouldn’t recommend it.😥

Enjoyable. Well done! Although I am trying to establish what gives you more stars. Is it more blocks falling per hit?

Fun... for a while!. Played this game solidly for a day, and then sadly ran out of levels (80). Keen to see more added on a regular basis.

Shame about level 36. Yep, an enjoyable game. Until you hit level 36 and it crashes.

Good game but needs an update. I have been enjoying this game, but my game won’t let me pass the first stage level 36, every time I open up the level the whole app crashes. I hope this can be fixed.

Great game, very easy to complete. This game is a great time killer and the physics engine is amazing. I found the levels varied enough and had a gradual learning curve to the various different “special” blocks within the game and their purpose. I experienced no bugs or issues during my play apart from the dragon model with its flight path around the tower would clip through the corners of the square towers. This is no way affected gameplay or the physics and is purely a minor visual issue. My only complaint is that the game is far to easy, I managed to get 3 stars on all 80 levels only having to reply in total a handful of times to get the three stars. I hope that the upcoming levels increase their difficulty and perhaps come with time limits or some other interesting game mechanics.

Ridiculously Latent. Gameplay is latent and suggestive AI makes ridiculous assumptions. Fail, No Sale!

Nah. Edit - 31st of May 2022. After being told to try again as it’s better now, if the symbols are covered it’s still near on impossible for me to differentiate between blue and the two other light colours. Doesn’t tick my boxes but I persevered. If you’re colourblind don’t do it, there’s helpful symbols on the boxes up till level 20 when the symbols get covered up and then it’s sheer luck if you can pass it.

Issue with game. Hi developers, is there an issue with the game on iPad Arcade? For past week or so, game not progressing past load screen .

Terrible. I hate it

Love this game but my saves have been wiped twice now. This is one of my all-time favourite recent games. Unfortunately twice now when I logged in my progress had gone back to the start. Last time I just ran through all the levels again, since it had been a while since I’d played them all. This time it’s just demoralising - so soon after the last time a few weeks ago. All my achievements show in the game centre, but my progress and stars etc have all reset.

Crashes starting level 36?. I was really enjoying this game until I got to level 36 as it won't load. It starts to load then crashes. Happy to edit review once bug is fixed.

Fun time waster. It is a fun time waster but it drans the battery on my 12 pro max and the game crashes a lot.

Drastically different between platforms. Using level 38 as an example, this game is impossible to finish the tower regardless of score using the shots allocated within the iPhone XS, move over to the Apple TV however and I can repeatedly finish the tower with plus 12 shots or more. This tells me that the physics engine is calculating different values or perhaps able to run more complex equations on certain devices. Towers often just crumble on their own in big chain reactions on the Apple TV 4K But iPhone XS you’re often chipping away for little result. Would love if the dev could give this some testing time and verify my findings, for now, if you hit a level you can’t pass my tip is to jump onto the Apple TV.

Obnoxious elements. Literally deleted the app over the passive ‘gulping’ sound the dragon makes. I get it, it needs noise but since it’s so pervasive surely there’s an ability to isolate it during gameplay (whilst keeping the block interaction sounds) - or pick something less frequent and obnoxious

A relaxing colourful addictive stress release!. This is just the game needed in these trying times. A colourful, relaxing stress relief of a game. And so addictive as well. I contacted the developer about a glitch in the game, and they replied very quickly with a response, and so because of this I’d definitely give this 5 stars. Thank you!

Good fun but wish it would sync progress. Good fun but wish it would sync progress across devices. As it is I’m stuck only playing on iPad, as iPhone and AppleTV make me start from the beginning. Also please consider allowing landscape mode on iPad?

Surprising!. This is not normally the type of game I play but I downloaded it to play on my phone for times I was “Waiting” for stuff ( bus, appointments etc.) and I cant stop playing it! It’s just the right kind of playable and doesn’t cost anything! You earn enough coins playing it to buy boosters if you want but I love it! It’s good to play a game I make progress in !

Fun but crashes on level 36. Can’t seem to continue past level 35. App crashes when loading level 36

Glitch in level 11 tutorial. Was fun.. level 11 tutorial is impossible to skip or finish.. have tried now for a week..

Great game. Great game. Challenging without time pressure.

Physics vary wildly between devices. Towers are stupidly stable on iPhone XS to the stage where you often run out of shots half way down a tower, play the game on an apply TV however and the towers topple easily with large areas tipping over throughout the play through. The variance between devices makes the game possible in some instances, tested with my wife last night with the same level. On iPhone she ran out of shots half way down the tower ten times in a row, then moving over to the Apple TV she finished the level with double digits left four times in a row. Last game on iPhone and she failed again no where near the bottom. Great game but I think the iPhone you have matters due to the physics calculations taking place, it’s unplayable on the XS as it stands currently with blocks leaning at impossible angles but never falling.

Love it but keep crashing. I love the game as a way to relax, but when reach level 64 the game keep crashing 😔. iPhone 13 mini.

Level 36. That’s the end for me, crashes on level 36 on my iPhone and my iPad. Can go back and repeat 35 no problem.

Excellent but deeply flawed. A nice take on the match style of puzzle game and it is very addictive. However, after the 10th level, the game crashes on my M1 Mac every other level. Desperately in need of a fix. A great shame.

Uhhh am I stupid. Can’t for the life of me pass the 5th level. Am I missing something

Great game but gets laggy. Lots of fun, highly satisfying, however I can only play 3 levels at a time before my phone overheats. Hoping for an update that addresses this. Also an option to seperate music and sound fx in settings would be nice (so I can listen to spotify).

Fun but buggy. Enjoying the game but a lot of game breaking bugs, multiple freezes and when completing numerous levels I won’t be able to escape the end level screen

I love this game.. This Game is so relaxing and addicting. I love it so much. Whoever created this game, Great job

My favourite Apple Arcade game. Like Jenga in reverse. I enjoy the challenge of finding the right combination of bricks to remove to have it all come tumbling down. I would love to see new challenges added in the next update.

Fun game, a little repetitive. Fun time killer, can be a little repetitive. Found it drained the battery on my new iPhone 12 Pro very quickly. Don’t get the point of the dragon?

It’s awesome!!. This game is a great way to pass time as it is extremely fun. It has a puzzle element which keeps it engaging throughout the whole game. I would definitely recommend getting this game!

Perfect Apple Arcade Game. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Nice. Not bad but maybe can you make the levels harder Thank you

Game. This game is sooooo fun

Much fun.. I like this game. It's one of the few on Apple Arcade that I thoroughly enjoy playing.

Crashes. Game crashes when I try to start level 36, otherwise, a 5 star game.

Fun. Really fun so far just started it.

No longer loads. It worked for months, now it won't even load. Deleted and reinstalled the app, still doesn't work.

Great game. This game is super fun. Only issue I have is it makes my iPad run super hot

Fantastic. A real joy very well done.

Great job devs!. Well polished game that’s fun and supports 120hz. Really appreciate the lack of ads and in app purchases that plague other games in this genre.

Satisfying, Challenging and Great Devs. The physics are incredibly satisfying, and the minor haptic feedback adds to it. Zero in-app purchases. The one-time use items you can stock up on are only purchased by the in-game currency you earn. Overall well balanced, only a handful that had pretty tight and challenging win-conditions. A few hundred levels and the developers continue to add more levels and worlds frequently, alongside balancing. Really tidy package, nice to not have that 'freemium' feeling.

Addicting. Great game but reached level 36 and keeps crashing

Waiting for next world... 😁. Love this game and have completed the 2 world levels and all achievements. Waiting for what’s next. Will appreciate a release date for the next worlds.

Very slow progress, not to pass the time. You need connection and must not expect quick progress. The graphics are beautiful, the animation, excellent, but the hit on battery is insane.

LOVE IT! Please bring out more levels. This is an amazing game! Please share more of it with us. Thank you xox P.S. a objective for acing all levels with 3 stars is needed 😉

Great game with no issues, for me. Downloaded Feb 2021 - on iPhone 12 Pro. Game runs great. No issues or glitches, no excessive battery drain, no heating up. This game kept me occupied. Easy to pick up. Put down and jump right back in. Casual play. Nothing too stressful lol Ice completed all 80 levels - this there an update on when more levels are to be released?

OK.... The game has a lot of potential. However, I was never able to continue my game between iPad and iPhone. Icloud is connected, but ain't possible even after multiple attempts. At level 20, the block fall off for no reason. Half my tower fall after targeting only one brick... I can't continue because I am unable to complete objective. It's sad because I really like the concept.

amazing. literally so fun and don’t need internet love to play when i’m bored or waiting for something 10/10

Was fun at the start. Got to level 36, now the game crashes every time I try to start the level. Appears to have lots of game left, just can’t play it. Using an Iphone12 too, so it’s not like it’s too much game for the phone. Disappointed for sure.

Awesome game so much fun!!. The game is lovely so glad to have such a game without micro-transactions LOL. Only issue I see is I cannot progress past level 35 as level 36 keeps crashing

An awesome casual puzzle game. I don’t even like games like candy crush or grindstone but I am really enjoying this game. The game constantly throws new mechanics at you and the physics are great.

Crashes on level 36. Great game but I can’t get level 36 to load, the game crashes every time.

Crash on Level 37. Was great. Until I couldn’t play anymore.

When will new levels come out?. I’ve finished all the levels! Just waiting for new ones. When will more levels be out?

Loving this game. I like fun & quick vertical style games - this one delivers w/ great physics based gameplay.

Won’t load level 36. I’ve tried everything short of deleting and starting over (no thanks). It also really heats up my iPad... but I would keep playing if I could.

Quit working. Great game until level 36. Then it kept booting me out. Can’t play it anymore. Too bad

Fun. Game is until until level 36 Crash crash crash 💥

Losing progress. I keep losing my progress in the game. I had to start from level 1 three times and I’m so done with it!!

It’s ok, but neither quality or quantity. I just want a mindless game to keep my hands busy that isn’t micro transactioned out the wazoo. This is a very average version of this. I could be ok with this but then it only has 80 levels! If it just had quantity or quality (not wasting how pithy the title is), but alas. Three stars

Keeps crashing!. Fun so far, bu keeps crashing at level 36. 😔

Fun but..... Cool game but what is the point of iCloud saves when you can’t play on your phone and then transition to iPad and continue where you left off ? Or vice versa. Pretty annoying !

Crashes at level 60. Can’t play past level 59. Game crashes every time you try to play level 60.

Should be easy and fun, but it’s clearly P2P. But I’ve been failing on an early and easy level because I must collect 10 blocks of three colours and the game never gives me even 5 of each of those colours to throw (which is how you collect those coloured blocks). How am I meant to collect these colours without the ability to collect these colours? It can’t be random either cuz I don’t have to collect any red or yellow blocks so of course 70/80 throwing orbs are red and yellow. I don’t even mind paying money in app tbph, I’ve spent thousands upon thousands on pc and console gaming so a few bucks to a casual game here and there is nothing— but choosing to pay a bit to make the game better and being forced to pay or one cannot progress are two very different things imho. Coercion is just not something I’ll ever fw no ty.

¡So fun!. Can’t stop playing this game ☺️

Idiotic “Blastie” in the update. Is there a way to get rid of that idiotic Blastie character they just added? I does nothing to enhance the game play at all, and the stupid thing is just there, blocking real estate in the game. This addition *screams* of some out of touch product manager without a clue how to do their job.

Extremely fun, but large battery drain. This is an amazing game, but drains battery and that’s up phone too much.

Nice game but…. Doesn’t save my achievements on the phone. After the first two worlds have to start at level 81 over and over. Not to mention playing on other devices. Annoying!

Crashes trying to load level 60. Fun and not totally impossible to win. Good time waster.

Dangerous overheating. Whenever I play this game my phone overheats to the point it might cause a fire or burn a child/pet. Don’t play this game until this is fixed.

Game is ok. Game was fun until level 5 and then the square parts got really difficult. Nothing falls. Annoying.

Not terrible, quite fun, but just one thing.... When you’re on your last ball, and you use it to deliver the final blow to win the level you’re on, it shouldn’t automatically fail... like... You should fail when you run out of balls yes, but not when the final balls would make it so it would complete the level. This just happened to me, hence this review, I’d leave a 5 star if this was fixed

Level 98 seems impossible.. I’ve been stuck on Level 98 for a week, so went to check on Youtube to see if there’s something I don’t understand. In the video, the dragon is positionned at the corner, and it seems to credit the amount of block eaten way higher than in the real game itself. Is it a bug? PS : I think it was a bug. I went on Youtube to see if there was a specific way to get through Level 98, and the dragon was positioned at the corner of the tower (therefore ingesting more blocks), as opposed to the version I had. I went back a few days later, and then new tools were added to make level 98 doable. My understanding is that there was a bug. Level 99 and upward were very easy to complete. Personally, I enjoyed the game very much, but I’ve spent almost 3 hours trying to figure it out, that was, in my books, wasted for no reason. At this time, I’ve stopped playing it. It is not clear un regards to how you can get full stars at each level (in order to access some other levels which require an x amount of game) so it’s just a guess. Perhaps I didn’t see instructions in regards to that. I do understand that everything in development might have bugs, but I didn’t sign up to be a beta tester. So I’m gonna pass for a year. I’ve found other pass time.

Very fun!. This game is awesome! Thank you v much! Great graphics! Highly addictive and satisfying

Doesn’t work?!. I downloaded this game a few days ago and I still can’t get past the loading screen. I was super excited to play but it has yet to work

Crashes on level 36. Want to play more but keeps crashing

Error in level 139 preventing moving forward in the game. I like this game quite a bit but there are no moon blocks in level 139, it is impossible to beat this level. Terrible experience for a game I have been enjoying as part of Apple Arcade.

Needs work. Such a fun game, but doesn’t open anymore, just continual crashing.

Awesome.. Are you high and neurodivergent? This game is for you.

What I’ve been waiting for from Apple Arcade!. I was almost ready to cancel my Apple Arcade subscription, but then they came out with this. I’ve always loved match 3 style games, and it’s SO hard now to find something decent without all the ads or in app purchases. So far, this game fits the bill perfectly! Thank you!

Love it, but only 80 levels, NEED MORE ASAP!!. I absolutely love this game and I am addicted to it. My on problem with it is that there is only 80 levels right now. Also there is nothing to explain how exactly you get 3 stars, you can complete all objectives and still end with only 2 stars. Please add some info for scoring.

No new levels. I enjoyed playing the game but there are no new levels. This game seems like a better more interactive version of the popular toon blast. But unlike toon blast who releases new levels every two weeks this game is stalled out after two “worlds” so if there’s no update with new levels soon I’ll be deleting the game and forgetting about it. Which is frustrating because I enjoyed the simple but challenging game play.

Fun with a Request. This game is amazing, I sincerely love this game and want it to go on forever and ever... There is one thing, I felt like a master in a few games where I was able to topple the entire tower with only a few cubes...been then I got an abysmal score. I realize now that it’s all about the initial break but...why no reward for being a master tower toppler?!

Level 80/Out of balls!. This is new for the Aqua update: Why do we have to complete level 80 again to be able to move to 81? (I think that even if you run out of balls to throw, you should still be able to win if all of the blocks fall off of the last platform (and of course any additional challenges) after the fact. Thank you!)

Cant open a level 36. I just got this game yesterday, January 29 and I guess there was a update and since the update. I can’t open the level which effects me being able to progress in the game. I really like the game and would love to play it again. I can play the previous passed levels . When I press the 36 and it goes to the open menu before playing the game, the app shuts down every time. I’ve also deleted the app and re-downloaded it. Three stars is for the bug and hopefully it can be fixed soon.

Fun while it lasted. This game was enjoyable and had fun playing. When I hit level 36, it now crashes every time I tried to load the level on all my devices. Update: never have I ever had a comment responded to so fast. They have fixed the bug in a day and posted an update that works. Enjoying the game! Kudos to Orbital Knight!

Game is broken. Ever since the Sept update something is wrong. Playing the Sweetonia levels, suddenly none of the goals it shows before the level are actually the goals in the level once it starts (for example, before level goals of 50 bombs and 125 dragon blocks but once the level starts the goal is 20 green, 20 red, 20 purple). Now I’m on level 241 which I cannot pass because every time I start the level, it has me play level 240 over again. The game is clearly broken and the developers need to do something.

Love it but…. Love this game so much. Very fun and easy to pass time while playing. BUT it overheats the phone so fast. I don’t have an old phone or anything either. I have an iPhone 12. This game blows through my battery, the game starts to glitch, and my phone gets so hot after maybe like 10 mins of playing (even if I have the brightness all the way down!). I could play any other game that has way more details, amazing graphics, etc without my phone overheating. So why on this game?

Fun until level 5?. UPDATE: I updated the app and it fixed level 5 being impossible. This app is super fun after fix. Thanks Devs I was buzzing along until level 5. I’ve played this level 25 times. How did I blaze through 1-4 with no issue. They were maybe too easy. Now level 5 is completely impossible? You need to ramp up difficulty not make it impossible.

Great Game. But buggy.. Since today’s update running iOS14.4 on an iPhone 8 Plus. I get to level 36 and it crashes trying to load that level. Regardless of starting a new game or simply resuming a game. Really frustrating that I can’t progress. **Update** Updated to latest version 1.0.3 and that has resolved things so far. I updated my response as the developers contacted and let me know of the update!

Fun, until it no longer plays.. I was only at level 36 when suddenly the game just started crashing (11 Pro Max). Tried closing everything out, restarting my phone, etc. Didn’t matter, just crashed as soon as I started the level. Reinstalling and starting over. Fortunately I wasn’t too too far into it. Edit: fortunately progress was saved and the level launched just fine. So, I guess just a heads up to the devs, there’s a bug somewhere.

Near-Perfect Casual Game. Each level is engaging and only takes a few minutes to complete. This is the perfect game to jump into while I’m waiting on a flight or on break at work. Note to developer: For me, level 101 of the underwater area was exponentially more difficult (not in a fun way) to complete than any of the earlier or later stages. Oddly difficult.

Fun, limited levels and bugs. Like others have mentioned, this game is fun and enjoyable. With that being said, there are some annoying bugs with the UI and the physics could use some tweaking. Download it, have fun, but be warned that there aren't a lot of levels at the moment. Devs, it would be nice to have at least a banner letting players know more are coming. Right now, I have no desire to replay levels since there aren't any reasons/incentives for me to do so.

Great game overall very satisfying and colorful!. I love this game it’s very satisfying to play and watch the colorful tower fall. But there is just one thing I’d like you to fix. When you reach the bottom of the tower the blocks just turn invisible and fall through the base, I think you guys could come up with a way more fun animation for that! Like maybe the last blocks exploding outward or something that would make it a lot more realistic and fun! Just a tip. But great game!

Could be fun, but far too rigged. This game has a lot of potential and is fun at times, but a lot of the “difficulty” is in annoying gimmicks and impossible odds. For example, a level will require you to hit 40 red blocks, but will give you only one single red ammo for the entire level. You can only hit blocks matching the color of your ammo, so that means it’s literally impossible without power ups. Most of the levels are like this. It’s very Candy Crush-esque where you just have to keep grinding a level til you get extremely lucky. The whole point of paying for Apple Arcade is to avoid this stuff. Would have been a great game if it was actually about knocking down towers efficiently and strategically. But it isn’t.

Fun, smooth gameplay, but a total battery killer. Worth playing, the puzzles are fun and just the right amount of challenging as you play. No crashes. However the game is a battery killer and that needs to be addressed. For example: using iPhone 12 Pro after a full day - 50 minutes on screen equates to 28% of my battery, in comparison to Instagram at #2 with 2 1/2 hours on screen and 18% battery usage.

Stuck on Loading Screen. This app was addicting and there are so many levels so it would’ve taken a good while to get through but I can’t access it anymore. It stays stuck on the loading screen with the logo. I loved how colorful it was and don’t remember it ever crashing on me so it was pretty stable. 🫠😢

Enjoyable to a point. I do enjoy this game. Was waiting on Apple Arcade to get a game like this for a while. My singular problem with this is the scoring. I don’t know what should happen. When the walls fall on their own, they count for less than a shot. However, what if I have a well placed shot that makes the entire tower fall? I get penalized because I didn’t fire the balls to hit all of the other connecting colors? Come on. I don’t know what is the fix, but I find myself constantly getting 2 stars because the walls falling AFTER a shot do not count for much.

Does not work. The game is fun to play and I have no doubt I would continue to play it if that was an option. However every time I close the app I have to start from the first level. I contacted support and was initially responded to by Maria Błędowska. She asked me for some information and said let’s stay in touch. I provided the information and was never contacted again. So I guess I have to send the game to the trash. Too bad. It was a cool game.

A really great game, with a disappointing flaw.... Let me start by saying that I love this game. I really enjoy the new ‘spin’ on the match genre. I could probably play it for hours... if the battery drain and phone heating issues can be fixed. I can play one level, and my battery will drain at least 3%-4%. My battery health in settings says I have 100% capacity in my battery. If this issue can be fixed, I will gladly edit my rating to 5 stars in a heartbeat.

Annoying issue. the game has potential, but there is a very annoying issue that is also mentioned by other reviewers. in the later game when it is moved to lower tower, you can barely aim to bottom of tower as it also triggers switch ball. this is very very annoying. should be able to change the view up and down for better aim

Great but broken. This is an awesome puzzle game, very creative and original. My wife and I were tearing through it, but then she started complaining that when she started level 64 the game would force quit every time. I tried to get to the same point to see if it happened to me too, and it didn’t. Because it force quits on level 60 for me so I can’t even get to level 64! This is literally broken, neither of us can progress this game now. Would give a higher score if I was able to actually play anymore.

Crash at level 36 - Fixed!. I'd been enjoying the game, right up until level 36. I consistently saw a crash when I started level 36. A day or two after posting that (with plenty of detail to aid in troubleshooting) in this review, the developers released a fix and I am now enjoying it again. Thanks for the fun game, and extra points for a quick bugfix response!

Monotonous. I’ve played 20+ levels and just deleted the game. It has a reasonable physics engine, colorful graphics and a solid concept. However, it’s monotonous AND easy. I’ve never purchased a power up and still completed all of the levels with 3 stars. The levels themselves offer little variety and the challenges are a bit dull. I’m not sure why this game feels so boring compared to, say, lTetris, but it does. Perhaps if the levels had more complex designs or if there different environmental factors (lighting conditions, wind/weather, weighted balls, etc) then it would have more staying power

Fun Match-3! Some issues though. (Reviewed on app version 1.0.2 Jan. 29, 2021) This game is really fun, and I'm so glad to have a match-3 that isn't full of micro-transactions! There used to be a lot of minor issues but the devs patched them out. I promised I would re-review (previous rating was 3stars due to those issues) and now it's a perfect, fun match 3! Can't wait for more levels ^_^

Loved it but it stopped loading 😔. It's one ofky favorite games but in the last few days it keeps getting stuck while loading (just seeing thr Spire Blast logo with the initial loader getting halfway through). Resetting the iPhone and reinstalling the game didn't help. No other apps have issues.

Crashes often. I very much enjoy the game, however I have started multiple games and I get only so far and the app crashes. When I try to continue the game, it immediately crashes again. Update: The development team was quite responsive and the latest update has fixed my problem. I highly recommend the game. It is fun and a great game for zoning out while unwinding from a stressful day!

Crashes after update. Didn’t crash before update, now as level starts to load, crashes often. Also, replaying levels to get 3 stars and trying many many times, and cannot get even close to finishing the levels. Update: New update fixed the update - fun to play again!

Superb to the max. I enjoy this game much. This is how a matching game suppose to be. With the spiral rotation it makes it more enjoyable. Graphics are great, when you need that restroom break this can be a quick go to game. Can’t wait for updates for missions or maybe daily team battles, beat the clock challenge, race the tower etc so much possibilities

Couple problems. Great game, a very satisfying and original take on the matcher genre. Others have pointed out various flaws, but I’ll add one I haven’t seen talked about: one can only turn sound completely off or completely on. Unlike almost every other game in existence, there is no option to turn OFF the music soundtrack (repetitive, generic) and leave ON the game sounds (satisfying, well designed). Please add this.

IQ. I love this game it is so fun and one reason I love it so much is because you have to think about what moves you should make and you get many many different power ups and my favorite power up is the fire dragon it is so cute and you click any block and the dragon sets it on fire and catches other blocks near the block that you clicked on fire 😁😁🔥

Very enjoyable ASMR potential game. I love the game. It definitely had its bug while I played it (dragon not showing up sometimes, I also had to shut the app down a couple of times because it froze) but that didn’t stop me from finishing the game til’ the end. The way the blocks fall when you hit a real good spot is like magic. I can’t wait for more!

Updates: Latest update keeps crashing game after selecting level.. 2-3-21: After the new update I’m no longer running into crashes when loading into a level. Glad this was fixed and I’ve updated my review! Thanks to the team who worked on getting this corrected! With the latest update the game now crashes every time I attempt to select a level. I’m running a iPhone 12 Pro Max so it should run fairly well.

Lots of fun (Apple TV needs work). I love this game. It’s the right level of addictive with the ability to pick it up and put it down as you want. It’s immensely satisfying watching the tower blocks tumble down. I’m only knocking it down to four stars because it’s virtually impossible to play with just the Apple TV remote, especially further in a round when the selection box simply won’t move where you want it to. I’d prefer it just be listed as requiring a controller instead.

A great little puzzle game. Just made it to the second world of stages and still having a blast. Actually trying to pace myself to make the game last, because it’s very easy to sit down and tear through levels. Something very satisfying about hitting blocks and watching things fall down. It’s not a super long or complex game, but it is a lot of fun. A great treat in the Apple Arcade. Hope for even more levels to come!

Fun, but frustratingly buggy. I would probably give this game five stars if the software were better. It’s really fun. Some aspects of gameplay are difficult to figure out, but that’s manageable. The biggest problem is that the game will intermittently lock up on you. After a new “update”, I’ve hit a point where I can’t even play new levels! It’s a great game marred by bad execution. Update: Developer fixed some flaws related to advancing a level, so I modified my review.

Last Update Crashes - Edited. Back to 5 stars! Last update did fix the issue of not being able to advance past level 59. Great fun, addictive game. Needs more than 80 levels, since it is easy to get to that level in just a few days. Wou;d have easily given it 5 stars, but the update released yesterday crashes when you complete level 59. Can no longer advance to any level above that.

From love to hate. Really enjoyed this game when I first discovered it. It was challenging but not impossible. Played through the first 80 levels a couple of times, and each time was a little different to keep it interesting. The last update has turned my experience from enjoyment to frustration. Can’t get past Level 93. Tried multiple times and it just won’t happen. Blocks fall too easily. Level 93 is where the game ends for me. It was fun while it lasted.

Great graphics Terrible/lacking instructions how to play. This game has grew potential if only there wee some instructions how it works! Very non-intuitive, and tedious to try and guess how things work. But the falling blocks is satisfying…. If only I knew what I was up against, and what needs to be done. Very sloppy on the part of the developers to put out a game with obscure requirements and no instructions. 🥶

Great game but having issues. I love this game, but since last night I press play and the whole game shuts down. I can get it to open then select my level but as soon as I press the triangle to play the app closes and takes me back to my home screen. I deleted it and will try reinstalling to see if that fixes the issue but I’m hoping you’ll see this and fix it from your end also.

My Favorite Game On Apple Arcade. I absolutely love this game. I love match three puzzle type games, and this one is an absolute blast. I enjoy being free from the constraints of premium currency, endless ads, and 5 heart live cycles limiting my play time. This is the first game in a long time that I have beaten to 100%. Getting 3 stars in all of the levels was super fun and did not feel like a grind. I can’t wait for more levels to be released.

Best match game ever!. I’m not into match games that much. But, this game is so well made! It’s fun polished and original! The dragon levels were the thing that caught my eye! So I think you should make a endless game mode! Where you need to feed the dragon faster then the Time! You would add time to the clock by feeding the dragon! Also maybe AR mode? Another reason for the coins could be cool! Can’t wait for the next update!

Frustrating. I do appreciate the updates and attention to feedback that the develop gives to reviews. But...stuff randomly falls all the time. At fist May not seem like a big deal but as you progress, you need to hit certain goals...x amount of colors, bobs, shield ect...and you could be doing the right things but randomly everything starts falling even for no reason...it can be frustrating at times. But, so far good game other than that

Fun concept. I didn’t think there would be too much strategy in a game like this. I was pleasantly surprised. I’m curious if the developers ever considered a sandbox where players could change the physics of the level ,weight of the projectile , weight of the blocks, weather ,or tower altering events?

Glitchy but addictive. I played this so much yesterday all I could see when I tried to sleep last night was the tower falling and blocks going sideways, slowly :D Great game, but it's glitchy- XMas puzzles are loads of fun, but getting back and forth between menus causes freezes that only the command-Q will fix. That being said, I'm willing to futz with the restarts of the game because when it's working it's loads of charming fun!

High potential but..... This game could be great if they fix one strange problem. The problem is you play without knowing what is the goal and you end up failing to complete the stage and you have no idea why. Their is no obvious way to find out what is the goal. Update 1/Sep/21 I gave the game an extra star (4 stars now). The game has objectives and goals to go after plus they have other nice improvements.

It’s okay.... The game is fine, but a little repetitive. The towers in the first 20 or so levels all look the same and are really only varied with the type of blocks you are tasked with eliminating. Sometimes the dragon is there, sometimes it is not. All seems a little random. Fun, but doesn’t hook me in the same way some similar puzzle games have. Easy to pick up and then drop and not come back to for a few days...or maybe not come back to at all. Kind of forgettable for the most part.

Level 139 Is Impossible. I enjoyed the game. Played it mostly through. There are 140 levels right now. Too bad you can’t actually play level 140 because 139 is impossible to beat. I don’t mean it’s too difficult, I mean impossible. You need to clear white/grey blocks in order to beat the level. There are no white/grey blocks on the entire level. Not one. You can accomplish all the other requirements, but thanks to some crappy level design you literally can’t pass level 139.

Garbage. What a complete waste of time. When you throw your block at the color you want taken away it sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t so you have to waste more blocks hoping that it would work. Also the physics are complete garbage. You wold think taking out half a row would get some blocks to fall but no not in this game. It’s like they all have magnets holding each of them together. That doesn’t help when the point is to knock them down. I understand that with each level it is to be more difficult than the last but you could at least leave the gravity on.

Repetitive and crashes. Pros: it’s somewhat zen to watch the tower slowly falling apart over and over again. This alone was enough to get me to play for a couple hours. Cons: The levels don’t feel very distinguished from each other. The power ups are somewhat meaningless as the levels are so easy they’re unnecessary. Oh, and the game now crashes consistently on level 60. I can no longer play this game because it won’t load level 60 for me. So, it’s fine for a couple hours, then delete it.
