Don’t actually get to work. The idea behind this app is great, however it just causes stress with no paycheck. You make sure you end your plans the prior day early enough to get ready for your shift and get to bed early. You prepare food and set up daycare. You go to bed early and set an alarm for 5:10 AM. Then every single time you are supposed to work, you get canceled an hour before hand. These facilities should be penalized for canceling like this. They are well aware the day before at the end of shift what discharges and admissions they have and what their scheduling needs are in the morning.

Nurse View. I have been with the company for a month and half now. The ONLY issues I have with Shiftkey is not having enough locations within my region. Also, for some facilities you will be requesting for shifts but they don’t accept them on-time and they wonder why shift key workers are late because some people travel a distance to get to the facilities. Also, I don’t like how they cancel shifts when you have applied weeks before and waiting all day that very day of your shift. Please do better Shiftkey!

NCNS. Facilities will list you as a NCNS when you call out which is ridiculous. We need to be able to cancel our shifts from inside the app it is not fair that facilities list you as a NCNS when you have called in. And I’ve sent emails to me regional person and he never replies smh. But I jus write a bad review on the facilities when they do that bc 9X out of 10 the facilities are filthy dirty, they don’t have wipes to clean the patients, they don’t have towels or even the correct size briefs for these patients and I’ll be definitely calling APS on a few in my city bc the facility is just horrible they need to be lucky to have agency staff in the place.

THEY DONT PAY YOU EVEN WHEN THE FACILITY DOES YOU WRONG. To all my health care professionals, BEWARE. Do not go to Brooklyn Queens Nursing home in brooklyn. They have needs on shiftkey and require nurses and cna’s to work 1 orientation shift with them. I requested it and they approved it 3 days later, 4 days before the scheduled shift. When myself and another healthcare professional arrived, the scheduler (the one in charge of booking everyone) greeted us and then asked for our paperwork. Why? Esp when we are cleared on the platforms to work. (Drug test, physicals and licensure) after that she had us wait about a hr and half to gathet the forms and said we needed to go Home because thats not how they do things and “shiftkey knows not to book anyone without them calling and meeting with admin before hand” which is a lie because they dnt book us, THE FACILITY DOES. So because i spent 3 hours traveling from one end of ny to brooklyn to provide services to them they REFUSED TO PAY ME, told me and the aide that and is now not answering to shiftkey demands to pay me for the hour and a half i was there and trouble and travel pay because they wasted my time. Shiftkey, KNOWS ABOUT ALL OF THIS, and have been delaying my pay for 3 weeks now because of this and let this facility treat their workers anyway. My case was assigned to maribel and do you think she has reached back out to me? DONT WASTE YOUR TIME PEOPLE

Not what it use to be. This agency is not what it use to be. My background check has been in “consider” for almost a month now. We have to update our background check every yr and my background is the same as it was last yr but for some reason it was flagged this yr. I have called multiple times to see what’s going on and they just keep putting in escalation tickets but no one has escalated the situation or even contacted me. Use Intel’s or GrapeTree at least they would let me speak to manager or someone in background department to get the situation handle these people don’t even have that or your own personal specialist Update: even after they replied still haven’t spoke with anyone it has been 90days background still pending and waiting for them to upload it although it already been approved by Checkr….. This agency is a joke bout time they approve it I’ll be needing a new one

MY SHIFTKEY STORY by Aisha Mure. So I truly don’t take other’s opinion as my own. I like to find out by seeking my own truth and experience. I felt like let me give SHIFTKEY a try and be the judge and boy oh boy my experience has been a hoot and a holla! Now I don’t want to put it all on SHIFTKEY but my experience has been so bad that someone wants to point the finger and because shift key is the 3rd party to many of its partners we as contractors look up to SHIFTKEY making things right on our behalf especially when it comes to being paid when hours are worked or when you are even put in situations that may be un ethical or hostile. We as CNA’s face a lot of challenges and uncanny situations when we go into some of these places faced with issues that are hidden from all truth and covered up by deception and or lies. I will always fight for what’s right and Justice meaning I will never be afraid or saying what is factual and or reporting on behalf of a resident safety or myself enough is enough and if I can’t get things resolved I will keep going until we as a people a whole can turn things around especially in this line of work! I do and hope that my cases all of them will be resolved quickly and thy

Very low paying. There are the same facilities listed on other apps that pay way more when I go to bid on a shift at a facility that is also on another app paying way more for that exact same facility it says that I cannot request that amount it’s too much but why would it be paying more on another nursing app?? I only use shift key as a last resort because the pay is ridiculously low 26 an hour and my very first nursing job as staff paid 29 an hour very insulting pay rates!! I try to stay away from ShiftKey because of this reason and 9/10 the facilities are low or under staffed with little to no help the audacity to offer low rates for being extremely overworked at majority facilities!!

Best Nursing App Ever. I am so happy and glad l made the choice to work with Shift key. Had a regular job but was being paid 17 yet l was both CMA/CNA with fixed shifts that made it hard for me since life happens and sometimes you can make it yet it will affect you greatly until l was told about Shift Key. Honestly, it has its ups and downs like any other businesses but with cancellations but l understand how things work cause l still benefit. But overall best app ever. Provides the ability to pick up your schedule and you paid your worths work at the end of the day. Am grateful so anyone unsure, l advise you to give it a shot. Am truly happy, wish l had started sooner with them.

ShiftKey is an absolute joke!. I’ve gone on the site. I’ve tried to complete the on boarding having so many issues have contacted the helpdesk via email on numerous occasions. Still nothing has been done gone on the app and chatted with agents. Still nothing has been done numerous of times!I don’t know how they are able to stay in business. This is the most chaotic, ridiculous site I’ve ever tried to sign up with just one issue after another with my licensing credentials.I have called the Texas number and they’ll tell you there’s a 2 to 5 minute wait which is absolutely a lie! I’ve been on the phone for over an hour I have things to do I have a life I can just sit on the phone when you tell me it’s a 2 to 5 minute delay! Obviously, at this rate doesn’t seem like they really need RNs!

Pay problems. I have submitted work logs that were signed by the facility I was assigned to prove my work. Shiftkey has intentionally rejected the worklog and paid me whatever they wanted to pay me. When I tried to contact them concerning the issue and explain the worklog said that I DID WORK this amount of hours, they would THEN try to correct it. But now they are telling me that they submitted a ticket about my claim and now it’s been 2 weeks and I still don’t have my money and they have not contacted me about it. So in my opinion, you are gambling on whether they pay you correctly or not.

Lpn. Working for ShiftKey has it perks. Pay is daily after finishing each shift if you like or weekly pay can be an option. Any pay issues will be resolved in a timely manner, no long waits, or hassles. No stressing over bills being paid. Pick up a shift or two, and say no more. You have paid that bill, or funded your kids class trip or Birthday Party with little too no wait. All I can say is the smiles are $$$$$$$$=priceless

No work I guess?. I have never dealt with such a hellish onboarding process in my life. On the phone I was told I would be able to pick up shifts within the week. Now it’s been about three weeks and i’m still waiting on them to approve my background check authentication… ready for the kicker? THEY ALREADY RAN MY BACKGROUND CHECK AND APPROVED IT!! Everytime I think i’m in the clear to pick up a shift there is another obstacle in my way. I am 100% helpless and cannot do anything other than call and talk to a snotty rep who gives me a different answer everytime. First it was 24-48 hours, now it’s 3-5 business days. I am crushed and stressed out of my mind, trying to provide for my family and can’t even pick up a shift… reading these other reviews I can see i’m not alone, which is even more discouraging. Im worried they now falsely advertised the “amazing pay” too.

Can’t pick up shifts. I’ve had this app almost 2 months. I have everything completed that’s required to pick up shifts. Everything has been credited, But still in onboarding. I’ve contacted the company 4-5 times about this issue, it’s been a month now and still can’t pick up shifts. Every time I talk to someone they say it’ll be 24-48 hours before there’s an update and someone should email. I’ve been through that at least 4 times and still nothing, no email either. I’ve never once got a response back from anyone. It’s been escalated 3 times and still nothing.

Like it but ehhh. Only thing I don’t like about ShiftKey in general that they don’t explain anything . You would get suspended with no further explanation and that’s not professional. I hear with grapetree they do investigations and all and just because you get suspended one time don’t mean you can never work through them . They don’t even explain the attendance. I just feel like ShiftKey head is far up their behind it should be a period of time where you are suspended and repeated offense past 3 times then you should be permanently removed from the app . But getting suspended over attendance and not being able to work with them ever again is crazy . That’s the same way a facility can cancel all your shifts but it don’t affect the facility but when you cancel your attendance go down 5 points that’s crazy . Other than that it’s a great app p

My Favorite App. I’ve been with Shiftkey before they were Shiftkey, started as a CNA. This company has always been amazing to me. I got to personally receive services from some of the people who are now executive status and I can say they are great people, from experience. Which lives on through the services they continue to provide. Get The App!

HORRIBLE. Everyday I’m waiting DAYS to get paid from facilities and SHIFTKEY say they can’t do anything about it. That’s bogus and as our team they do not have our backs. Even though I’m signed up for DAILY PAY I don’t see any of my money till five days later most of the time if not two or three days later. Something needs to be done about this because I’ve been out in too many situations where I needed my money but had to WAIT ! Shift key needs to hold the facilities accountable and make them take care of the payment within a timely manner ! Myself and a few others that I’ve worked with though shift key says the same thing … THEY DO NOT HAVE OUR BACKS AS WORKERS ! For crying out loud they always say “call the facility” like I’m not calling y’all because I’ve already called them and the problem wasn’t solved ! Some adjustments needs to be made and QUICK !

Some of The worst employees ever. I’ve worked with this company for two years now and all I can say is the people that they hire are ridiculous it’s really sad that every facility I go to they say I’m the best worker that they have from this company I’m not saying all shift key employees are bad but every facility has bad reviews about shiftkey just when I get to like going to a facility they discontinued this one because they say the employees are disrespectful come in and sleep on the job or don’t do their work my question is what are the requirements to even get hired with shiftkey it’s kind of sad that this is the case for all of the facilities near me I think that shifty needs to be stricter on the hiring process and when they get DNR‘s they need to actually investigate those and stop those people from picking up at other places they are giving shiftkey a bad name

Not bad. So far working with shift key is not bad. It’s easy to get a job it’s just they need more location in the area. For example I live in brooklyn, there is one Brooklyn location but it’s 5.6 miles away, and everything els is in the Bronx which is 11 miles or more. Also when I put my worklog in it gets denied so I have to call the facility for the nursing facility can approve my worklog. However calling the nursing facility be giving u the run around because only like 1 person knows how to use shift key and if they not there ur Fyked.. The customer service is great, they answer the phone and help me with my issues. SHIFTKEY we need more location in NYC please. Brooklyn, atleast Manhattan.

I will never work full time CNA AGAIN!. I love everything about this app, especially love that they changed to daily pay using the pay card. Shifts are easy to pickup as well. BUT I do have a suggestion. I work nights (10pm-6am) and it’s a little annoying to have to change the filter every time I open the app. It sets to 150 miles away and I have to change that every time as well. If that can be changed to where it keeps your filters rather than resetting every time, I would be fulfilled with the app. Or also when premium shifts pop up, if you can choose in the app to be notified about only the shifts that you want to be notified about. Ex. I work 10pm-6am, then I can set only premium shifts that pop up for that time as my notifications since the premium shifts show up aaallllll day (while I’m trying to sleep during the day).

Wouldn’t even give it a star. I loved working for for this agency, until I needed a background check submitted so I could pick up in another state they told me they would submit it 1 month later I check and they never submitted the background check. I ordered and submitted the background check and they wouldn’t clear me to work in the state of PA even though my record was clear .. very dissatisfied!!! Tried calling into a live person and got the run around

Developer response requested. I would like to say I use the app a lot and I am very familiar with the interface. I love what it has to offer. I have a valid suggestion that would benefit both the user and Shiftkey! I am a dual license holder, RN and LVN. The app allows you to only utilize one license. You can contact Shiftkey and request to be switched between license but if you have any current bookings the app will not allow you to work those and switch to the other license. On the next update please develop a way dual license holders (RN/LVN or CNA/CMA) can utilize the app with both license or certifications. This can maximize the usage for us dual license holders. Please feel free to reach out to me as I have seen this work seamlessly on similar nursing shift apps. Thanks for your time.

Never paid. I worked for Highlands In Lakeland and because after starting my shift and the first one to arrive started my work early they wanted to send me to another unit. It was covid and because I refused they never paid me for my hours cause that facility said they won’t pay me! I had proof I was there on assignment sheet and their paper clock in. Yet this company didn’t protect me and I did numerous of escalations nothing was done! Still haven’t gotten a pay at all for that facility no supervisor called me nothing! I stop working for them over that situation that was never resolved.

Good app. Adding one thing: Can we upload a cropped picture of the work log? The current one is awkward due to my small phone and the window not fitting for a proper one-shift log picture. I've noticed some positive changes in the app, but I encountered an issue this morning. I worked a second shift yesterday, uploaded the work log, but this morning, the indicator dot on yesterday's date, which shows that I worked that day, has disappeared. Please address this issue.

Great flexibility, poor places to work. I have worked for ShiftKey for over 1 year now. In my experience, when it was good it was great, when it was bad, it was a nightmare. Lots of shade with the help center, never given a reason why you are DNR’d from a facility if you never had an issue before. Many droughts for CNA, CMT and Nurses. 95% of facilities are shady and will work against you for no reason at all even when they are desperate for staff. Had a few times where I didn’t get paid on time, days to weeks. You are always looked down on because you “make more money”. Where? I make $30k here just like you. Great for picking up a shift here and there. Awful for Full or Part Time. Proceed with caution.

Please Allow Us To View Other States W/O Having To Be Certified In That State.. Great app! User friendly, great pay, pick when you’d like to work, as much work as you want to work!! I’d just like to be able to see other shifts in other states regardless of if I’m certified in that state or not. Being that Shiftkey is my main agency to work for, I’d like to view shifts on the app in multiple states so I can gauge to see the pay rates & such so I can get reciprocity. In simpler terms, I’d like to browse the app’s shifts being offered by all approved states on Shiftkey’s platform.

Customer Support is Nonexistent. It is really difficult to get into contact with someone. My cna license in Illinois keeps being verified as invalid due to “no work history being shown on the IDPHS website,” - yet I am able to find the website myself and see my work history listed. I’ve contacted Shiftkey through the app but they are useless. I was told I would be contacted within 72 hours to sort out this issue, yet that has not happened. I tried again, and the same thing happened. I’ve also tried sending emailing and calling the company but have had absolutely no luck.

Do not download this, it’s awful. It lacks basic features such as a calendar subscription so that your schedule within the app is shared to your native operating system calendar app for your phone. This prevents you from having your schedule at a easy glance. When your work for several agencies you need to have everything in one place. It lacks geofencing so that you can clock in and out through the app. They force you to use paper logs which is bad for the environment. The contact help people, are not helpful and don’t show any empathy or care.

Allowed me to graduate debt free!!. I was a cna making like $13/hr as staff. And struggling financially!!! When I got into nursing school I knew I needed to increase my income. This agency’s flexible scheduling allowed me to go to school full time and still work on my off day. I made enough to support myself and pay off school tuition. Working with shift key as a CNA I made anywhere from $18-$30/hr! Gave 4 stars because I really wish they offered W2 option for taxes!

CNA. Before the app changed to showing everything on one screen I was not having any problems except the process included an extra step. Now with the new change (everything on one screen ), after I bid on a shift, it won’t let me off of that screen. There is no arrow or X to allow me to go to the previous screen. I have to turn off my phone then turn it back on to go to any other screen. Please help. I was gonna delete the app and reinstall it, but it will delete all of the data.

Um a shift??? Unheard of. -RN. I’m not sure what’s going on but no one approves shifts on this app. I’ve requested several shifts and no approvals. I call facility and the person who supposed to approve them gives you attitude as if ur begging for work. LOL I can’t make this up! ShiftKey need to enforce the usage of their APP!! It should be mandatory to approve a shift 2hours prior to the start time. This is ridiculous. It’s not as easy as you think. Work with an agency rather than an useless APP.

Cancellation Time Period. I hate how we have to cancel within 24 hours but the facility can cancel up to us being sent home once we arrive…. I had an emergency literally had to go to the ER and canceled my shift about 22hrs in advance and went from 100% to 66% in attendance and now it’s hard to get shifts…. The shifts get canceled way to much I had the whole weekend booked them boom they all canceled…. Make sure you check and see if your shift canceled before you even get ready because I made that mistake and the facility allowed me to work and I didn’t get paid I need them to run me my money I don’t work for free….

One of the first Cna on shift key. I love this app! Customer service is on point and ready to help when ever needed. The shifts do get assigned right away and they pay u the same day if u have the rapid card. I like the electronic signature they have now. I only wish that they would accept it with the signature and not have me wait for the DON or manager shift keeper to approve it. Because then it take up to a day or two. I been on shift key for almost two years. I love the pay and how it keeps track of ur shifts. So u can use mileage to help with taxes. All the facilities I ever been to they have been very welcoming. I’m am very grateful to have this side job! It has helped me so much especially now that I am a single mother. I love helping others! This app is for the best of the best! Get ready to run and work as soon as u get their! Best of luck to u!

Don’t waste your time if you live in Virginia. They do not have any job offers in Virginia!! If one happens to appear it’s through a third party agency pay $14 per hour for part time hours oh and don’t forget Shift key will automatically take over $2 from your pay to fund their real gig of selling insurance. If they happen to have a Virgina job it’s two to three hours away.. who’s traveling two to three hours away for $22 per hour well less than that cause shift key will charge you a couple of dollar to fund their insurance company. They have you going through a lot of changes uploading your credentials and taking these test background chance to test and then after all that process, they haven’t done the job of scouting jobs for you to work .. let me save you time. Do not use ShiftKey if you live in Virginia.

STAY AWAY!!!. I’d give less stars if I could!!! This company is HORRIBLE in their handling of issues!!! I’ve been waiting ONE MONTH now for unpaid time to be paid, what is their answer? “We have thousands of people needing resolution”, “the facility needs to do that “… I’ve been a nurse 19 yearsand worked for MANY agencies…. NEVER have I had an agency be SOO BAD at support of their talent!!! I also got canceled from 2 shifts at 2 different facilities without the “time & trouble” Pay, NOW I’m told to have the facility sign a blank work log as proof that I was there as the facilities have a way to COMPLETELY erase the shift I WAS ACCEPTED FOR from the app!!! Smells like fraud and dishonest business practices to me!!!

Camera button not available. I am an Iphone 13 Pro user. I have issues since starting with Shiftkey in Aug 2022 with uploading my worklog to Shiftkey when the camera button to do so is inaccessible. To make matters worst, I am unable to upload my worklogs until I get home to do so on my laptops. When I am using a hotel’s Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot I am denied access to Shiftkey as a safety feature. Furthermore, there is no way to send my worklogs to Shiftkey via email, attached to help desk email or chat where this issue can be resolved. Other apps and agencies use fax, electronic sign in or dail-in, a few suggestions to look into to resolve this issue that others are experiencing as well. Frustrated RN in GA

Great idea for an app.. The app could use some more updates to make it easier to use for the contractors. Such as allowing clocking and out on the app with signature sign out on screen when clockinrg out. They should allow call out in the apps with instant notification to the facility because one facility posted a non working number as I tried to cancel due to a family emergency and then they placed me as no call no show. Get good rates in my area. Pay is quick and easy with next day pay. Would give a 5 if the app was easier to use.

Not sure how to feel. Haven’t been able to secure a shift yet. Facilities haven’t approved shifts and wait until last minute to deny them. I think they should make it rule where facilities have to approve or deny a shift no later than 8 hours before it’s supposed to start. Tired of picking up five days in advance for a morning shift with no word or approval on if I’m working. Also tired of going to bed the night before and having to wake up early just to not have my shift approved. Also they need to add either the scheduler’s or the DON’s contact info. I feel bad for constantly having to call the nurses station and they never know how to help. The help option should be available 24/7. We work all hours of the day not just 9-5. Overall it’s just really annoying trying to navigate. I shouldn’t have to call facilities to have my shift approved they should be required to look at it as soon as they get it. I also don’t understand the premium shifts. I understood they pay more because they’re last minute help, but even those still take forever to be approved. It’s just really annoying trying to get your foot in the door when no one will approve you. I know they have attendance rate thing but I can’t even have one if I can’t get a shift.

Overview. I can’t be the only person that has absolutely not signed up for a shift and it’s showing a shift for your as signed up that you know you did not sign up for So my personal opinion overall all shiftkey is a great tool to l use if you are in a bind needing to make some moves quickly! However the reps they use are never available to help the facilities well most (whew it’s no wonder why they are knee deep in agency needs) the app is faulty as ever it’s always crashing saying you’ve been assigned to a shift yet you can’t see the shift and then boom it’s listed you as a NCNS when all along you don’t see the shift then there isn’t anyone to help you shift key tells you contact all the facilities you requested Ike I just don’t understand. Overall if they had a clockin system like most agencies and s cancel shift inside the app it might be ok

This is my first time doing this. Besides picking up shifts at my own jobs for extra money I really can just use this if I really indeed need the extra money and this PRN shifts really comes for Help You do get booked and the it’s not the best but it’s ok but you can’t complain if you already have a full time job and you looking for days to work on your off days and for those who in or those that just don’t want to have a full time commitment at a job

Bid on shift. Did not know there was a limit on bids nor a cap set. That would be nice to know before hand. So if you bid on shift and it is still open why can’t you lower price to lower price ? But it doesn’t allow you to do that, it kicks you off the bid and will not allow you to rebid even if it still open shift. Now I know there is a cap and limit to bids I will lower by more amounts. But missing out or accepting the lowest amount shouldn’t be the last straw. When I have worked there for more in the past.

You won’t get approved for a shift. I dislike agency apps where the facilities who need help has to accept or decline whether or not u can pick up a shift with them. I have no show score but no facilities will not approve me. Literally NONE. It is so hard to get a shift here. I’ve had to call the facilities which I shouldn’t have to do. The facilities would decline my application for the shift then 15-30 minutes later re add the shift they declined me for……. Shiftkey should honestly update this to where the facility cannot accept or decline u. Once u pick up the shift you got the shift. Also, Shiftkey need more facilities with than the ones they have currently. They have the same 7-10 facilities that is either too far or have bad reviews. Please add more facilities, assisted living, hospitals, and etc to your app. I couldn’t even add myself to the quick wallet app the instructions were unclear and I never received a link. Overall I rate this app 3/10. I feel like I went through all those things to get this app for nothing…..

Great app for nurses who are tired of having a boss.. This simplifies the process of working as a nurse. Multiple facilities add in all the shifts available in the state your a working in. So if you have trouble finding shifts this will help you get in a double everyday if needed. They don’t allow 24/7 on the clock even if your shift is at a different facility just FYI to save you time.

Random new document requirements pop up. I’ve been doing documents after documents trying to complete each of the things required before I can even start bidding for any shifts and it’s like every time i finish with one, more requirements that wasn’t even h there pops up as yet another requirement before i can bid and i’m extremely frustrated. Why not have all these things listed as a requirement all at once instead of bit by it like this? It makes the process harder than it needs to be and more complicated as a result. They said ‘additional requirements can be added at any time’ but it really just seems like they show up when i finished up. Then out of nowhere, two more things is there. Also, theyll reject a document only to accept it when you resend it again the same way! They use codes for why they reject things that i can’t understand and when you call, they don’t understand it either! Very disappointed.

CNA. I Love working for your company, but the pay out times should be sooner than after 12 noon due to contractors working other shifts and need to take care of things before going to these companies working. I feel that we are losing or slacking in our responsibilities no one knows what the next person has going on and as a company think about your contractors shanicet

Such a waste. I’ve been on this app for maybe a month and I think it’s a no for me. So first off booked shift and shift was approved days in advance so it wasn’t a last minute shift. The day of it showed canceled it read no longer available so I just assumed the facility canceled me. I received this message at about 5pm my shift was 10pm-6am. So at 11:20pm the facility called and asked where was I… and I said what you mean it’s shows I’ve been canceled. Well apparently the facility claim that THEY did not canceled me and that I should have called to verify it. Well for one I’m new to this app but not agency work and agency can get canceled anytime so why would I call? however I screenshot the email/text to the cellphone of the facility scheduler to see I’m to grown to lie and play games about my responsibility… if I say I’m working I’m working. But they didn’t care and listed me as a dnr so I was informed. I then tried reaching out to ShiftKey and that’s a whole other story. So secondly I pre plan my work schedules for the week because I do not like last minute obligations. And on this app who can start on a Friday scheduling for the following week and you basically sitting and waiting for a shift. All these shifts and yet your not being scheduled. It’s incredibly!! And because my bills don’t stop I have to move around. Be blessed people and good luck.

No contact person to help just answering service. This company has terrible communication. You can never speak to The people approving backgrounds and credentials they just send invalid notifications and don't tell you why there Invalid and you can not talk to them. The phone service that answers the phone can only escalate some ticket, they have no information on anything. My attestation form has been filled out 3 times and sent to them 3 different ways and they just mark it invalid with no explanation. I keep calling asking what I have to do and they have no idea they just make another ticket that's marked invalid every week. I'm probably the only unemployed nurse in the country because of this delays with no end in sight.

Alerts. Can you make it so the newest alerts are on top and after a while they disappear? Or make to where I can dismiss alerts, they pile up quickly? It’s an ok app. You have to bid low to get the shift, but most of the facilities will work you like a dog. They cannot help with renewing whatever license/certification/etc you came with and the facilities act like it’s some huge chore. They will not assist you if the facility doesn’t agree with your timesheet.

No words. Many facilities are a mess and the staffing coordinator as well! They will not let you work and be super petty just because. Facility’s will get to the day of and cancel your shift an hour before! But if the provider cancels you are penalized! You wait days to hours to be paid because the facility can be low down and they know you want your pay! You lose lots of points for cancel but you can work 40 shifts just to get 8 to 10 points for reliability score! It’s ok if you need money fast but they are ripping off providers! We are paying massive fees for this app just to work not to mention you don’t get any OT pay!!!!!

Hello I am texting my sadness last week I drive 156 miles and 1124 to three different facilities Y logs were declined three times got packed from two after a week and majestic of Goshen hasn’t paid me in oay period I served worked three building they had me I. The new changes are unnecessary. I’m not overjoyed with the changes. Can y’all put the calendar days back on the initial page. I liked that I was able to jump to the specific day I’m looking for. Now I have to scroll & scroll to get to the weekend shifts. And can you put the estimated bid amounts back, I like to see how much I could possibly be making at a facility. This change is an inconvenience

Nurse. I like the app but the alerts section in app is now not I order. The first alert shows up at the top from a week ago then the newest alert is in the middle and you have to scroll and search to find the latest alert. This is very inconvenient. The app could also use some updated features on filtering facilities you like going to and chatting with staff at locations.

Holiday pay. They posted a shift on the holiday for $20 an hour… that is definitely not holiday pay so when I try to bid higher, they tell me that exceeds the limit! Then when I bid down, they say I put too many bid request in…. Also stating that I can bid on the shift for only $20 an hour! this is how they do us aids with the holiday pay! thank God I’ll be a nurse next week!

Good luck. I’ve tried this app several different times. Just trying to pick up extra work and all I’ve only been successful one time. I bid on everything, no response. I called the number provided and they refer you to the facility. When you contact the facility, they don’t respond. It’s extremely time consuming and frustrating. Make the app easier to navigate and schedule more shifts. Pay was ok.

Great app…. Love the app very user friendly I’ve experienced a glitch here and there but nothing serious the only thing i think should be added is a filter for shift times for example I work nights but have scroll through a lot of day and evening shifts to get to nights. I thinking adding that would make it even easier for nurses to see the shifts they want.

Camelback does not want fixed my schedule. Tried to reach out to facility that considered me a no call no show when I did not do that. They will not fix the problem and tried to call Cx here but they said that facility has to fix that situation.

Not bad. The app overall is nice and convenient. However I don’t think it’s fair that facilities can cancel less than 12 hours before your shift is supposed to start. It’s not fair to the people who are supposed to work the shift. Also, you can request shifts a week in advance and not hear anything back at all. This makes it difficult to plan other shifts

Taken off the app. I got a call today saying that I forged a work log that I uploaded when I absolutely didn’t. I quit my previous job to work ShiftKey full time. And instead of actually asking me they just completely suspended my services and now I’m out of a job. They absolutely do not have your back and no not care about the people using their platform just the companies they provide the service too. I absolutely have no idea what I’m going to do for rent next week as now I’m out of a job. So thank you ShiftKey for screwing me over

Great app for nurses who are tired of having a boss.. This simplifies the process of working as a nurse. Multiple facilities add in all the shifts available in the state your a working in. So if you have trouble finding shifts this will help you get in a double everyday if needed. They don’t allow 24/7 on the clock even if your shift is at a different facility just FYI to save you time.

Great Company. I love the piece of mind of working where I want, when I want. And the daily pay is great. I’ll never go full time at just one place again. I love working with this company, if they’d pay OT that would be more awesome. But all in all I love working for ShiftKey

Do not download this, it’s awful. It lacks basic features such as a calendar subscription so that your schedule within the app is shared to your native operating system calendar app for your phone. This prevents you from having your schedule at a easy glance. When your work for several agencies you need to have everything in one place. It lacks geofencing so that you can clock in and out through the app. They force you to use paper logs which is bad for the environment. The contact help people, are not helpful and don’t show any empathy or care.

Location services the dumbest feature on the app. Don’t pick location services if you want your money right after the shift just get the signature. The location feature so pointless and useless. Still need to get a signature and still need your resolution reviewed. Other than that the app ain’t bad but that’s annoying and misleading.

It’s a great app for healthcare workers. It could be better, there’s a few things that could be done better and adjusted but that’s for the app creators to do and figure out But overall it’s great pay

My Favorite App. I’ve been with Shiftkey before they were Shiftkey, started as a CNA. This company has always been amazing to me. I got to personally receive services from some of the people who are now executive status and I can say they are great people, from experience. Which lives on through the services they continue to provide. Get The App!

Can’t pick up shifts. I’ve had this app almost 2 months. I have everything completed that’s required to pick up shifts. Everything has been credited, But still in onboarding. I’ve contacted the company 4-5 times about this issue, it’s been a month now and still can’t pick up shifts. Every time I talk to someone they say it’ll be 24-48 hours before there’s an update and someone should email. I’ve been through that at least 4 times and still nothing, no email either. I’ve never once got a response back from anyone. It’s been escalated 3 times and still nothing.

Customer Support is Nonexistent. It is really difficult to get into contact with someone. My cna license in Illinois keeps being verified as invalid due to “no work history being shown on the IDPHS website,” - yet I am able to find the website myself and see my work history listed. I’ve contacted Shiftkey through the app but they are useless. I was told I would be contacted within 72 hours to sort out this issue, yet that has not happened. I tried again, and the same thing happened. I’ve also tried sending emailing and calling the company but have had absolutely no luck.

Horrible service. Customer service is so horrible. The agent put me on hold for 25mins total of my call was over 45 mins. Then he hung up lol. I know once I was waiting for 25 mins and he didn’t tell me to hold he just did it after my question. The issue is still not resolved. He couldn’t answer my questions or concerns. Does anyone do quality checks on these call recordings, how’s the service so poor over 3yrs with ShiftKey. Thank goodness there’s other apps to also pick up shifts so you can get a break from the madness

Overall overview. The app is cool, the issue I have is the fact the facilities are allowed to cancel you up to 2 hours before a shift and what happens when you are traveling ? They need to give the provider up to 24 hours as well or at least 12 to the provider can replace a shift.

Scoring system. I used to pick up shifts all the time with this app, never had a problem getting the shift I want or any shift really. I took a break for about a year and came back to this new scoring system. Now I’m unable to get any shifts !! Because I have a “low/no score”, it makes me a less desirable pick for facilities. But as a “new” person, how can I increase my score if I never get shifts ? I wish they remove this feature.

Cna. I love ShiftKey app in fact it’s rescued me through many financial hardships. Thank you for giving me jobs to work. I would be dead if it wasn’t for ShiftKey . It kept me working when times got hard.

Canceled for today. The problem with this is you can’t depend on the shifts to be available even after your booked. I sign up. I get booked. 10 minutes later all the booked shifts are gone and no notification. Hmmm

Digital Worklogs. Since they have changed to Digital Worklogs, it takes way too long to get my shifts Resolved and ShiftKey says they can’t resolve Digital logs. They’re the company we’re working for but they’re not going to make sure we get paid. The facility has FULL CONTROL of us getting paid? Absolutely not acceptable. SHIFTKEY PLEASE change this! I’ll rather do paper Worklogs than to wait days for a facility to decide when they feel like resolving my shift.

Meh. I got married after obtaining my license and they would not accept a marriage certificate or proof of name change even though my maiden name still shows on my legal documents as my new middle name. I was told to delete that account and make a new one under my maiden name. I’ve done so, and have now been waiting weeks because the old account won’t delete. It’s been “escalated” multiple times by customer service and I keep going in circles with them. When I ask for a manager or supervisors contact information, I have been flat out refused or deflected.

Cna. When I pick a shift it take too long for shift to be confirmed. If shifts could be updated sooner I would work more for shiftkey. Also it took a whole day for the facility to approve my pay. I work for shiftkey because I like how the pay goes it helps me with bills, but it makes no since to pick up if you are unsure if they will except your bid to work.

No call no show. Never happened. Called into receptionist desk transferred to nurses station rang SNF rang. Called again went to nurses station. I left 2 voicemails. I will never NCNS been nursing 34 years! Electrical problem with my car in route to facility. Also reached out to account representative Shiftkey at that time!

Very fast and easy way to work. I love how this app makes it easy to see the pay where the facility is located and the option to bid on the shif all from one screen!!! Fast easy and very effective!! Thank you shift key!!

Onboarding. I’m currently going through the onboarding and on one of the assessments it says “select all that apply” frequently. Yet I can only choose one when I know that multiple answers are correct. Any advice???

Was working really well. I loved the app until last week. For some reason digital invoicing has failed for the last 2 shifts I’ve worked and I have yet to be paid for either one even though my location is set to always on and the app stayed open. Trying to get someone to help me resolve the issue has been a nightmare

Paper work log. Been registered however today was my first time using the app for a shift at a specific facility. Shocked that we have to use paper work logs and upload. But I spoke with someone via chat and they were super informative and helped me. She was awesome. Please upgrade to phone log in and instant pay.

Kay. It is easy to pick up shifts and I like the fast pay. However they need to create an app that allows you to check in on your phone like I can with the other agencies because it’s crazy when my work log gets rejected or a facility don’t want to sign my paper because they want me to wait for a relief when ShiftKey only pays for the hours that’s on the app.

They need improvement!. Cons: unable to speak to a real person. The lack a lot of shifts to pick from DFW. Limited to only nursing homes and rehab. No hospitals listed. No other kind of healthcare facility listed. Also a con, When you work a facility, you are unable to rate that specific facility. If you work more hours then specified you must wait for facility to approve before you can be paid. Shiftkey please improve

I’m not receiving shift alerts via email or text messaging. I’m not receiving shift alerts via email or text messaging, is everyone having this problem, all my notifications buttons are turned on as well?

Very disappointing. I have been approved for two shifts and they have both been unassigned at last minute with no reason as to why. It’s been very hard to get assignments as it is and when I do get them I am unassigned literally within a couple hours of leaving to work the shift. The first one I actually went to work the shift and within the first 4 hours I received a notification that I was unassigned and was never paid for that time. Will definitely be deleting!!!

Best staffing app for nursing!. LPN, RN, CNAs this is the most user friendly easy to work with app to pick up some shifts as a side hustle or you could easily work it full time! I’ve tried several and this app is the most flexible, has the most facility choices, easier to certify, and does not limit you to a “market” if you want to travel!

Don’t actually get to work. The idea behind this app is great, however it just causes stress with no paycheck. You make sure you end your plans the prior day early enough to get ready for your shift and get to bed early. You prepare food and set up daycare. You go to bed early and set an alarm for 5:10 AM. Then every single time you are supposed to work, you get canceled an hour before hand. These facilities should be penalized for canceling like this. They are well aware the day before at the end of shift what discharges and admissions they have and what their scheduling needs are in the morning.

Poor customer service by Support Agent Ernicia K. I was connected to Ernicia K a support agent who is NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE and completely refused to answer any of my concerns. He/she is VERY unprofessional. They kept me on the chat for a good 50+ minutes. When I asked for a survey of the chat I kept getting the same answer. “ I do apologize; I'm happy to assist, if you have any additional questions”. ShiftKey you need to do better, if that’s the training your support agents have. If there is 0 star for Ernicia K that’s what I would give. I am very disappointed.

Flexible Schedule. I am currently a single mother with two children. I quit my 7-3 and started traveling through the week and on weekends! It has allowed me to continue my education to become an RN, BSN and give me room to love on my children while making decent pay. It’s a great opportunity, and I’m so thankful for it.

For CNAS. This app allows facilities to not pay you as much as you would make being with a company. No mileage, low pay, only perfect thing is your choice of days you would like to work.

Background. Every year I am literally off from shift key for two weeks because they state they turn in the background check. You find out that the background was never started. You can’t save scripts I hear employers say they don’t use shift key due to no consequences as call ins etc. There employees have no consequences. They do not want to check on anything for you. Honestly it’s frustrating when you can’t work due to ignorance.

CNA/CMA. Shiftkey is a game changer!! i’m registered with almost all the nursing apps and agencies but when I tell you that Shiftkey is the best, believe you me. The customer service is the best and the app itself is user friendly and straightforward. the best part is my ability to bid for my shifts and work wherever and whenever i want. Most importantly the best facilities are on Shiftkey.

Ok could improve. Shifts do not automatically update if they are already booked or the time has passed if its around 6 pm and the shift started at 3 it should of been taken down. I don’t like the bidding process. It should take no longer then a few hours to be approved or declined for a shift especially during business hours when someone should be in the office. There are few instant claim shifts not in my state or close areas. I have yet to work any shifts because I get no feedback from my bids. It also ask you for MMR and TDap but im still able to bid so I guess it doesn’t stop you from bidding on shifts Ive never been asked for those been in healthcare for years.

Allowed me to graduate debt free!!. I was a cna making like $13/hr as staff. And struggling financially!!! When I got into nursing school I knew I needed to increase my income. This agency’s flexible scheduling allowed me to go to school full time and still work on my off day. I made enough to support myself and pay off school tuition. Working with shift key as a CNA I made anywhere from $18-$30/hr! Gave 4 stars because I really wish they offered W2 option for taxes!

Janky app. I have had this app for several years (along with my Cna license that I have had for almost a decade) this janky app has marked my license as expired / invalid just randomly in the middle of night several times this year. This janky app has marked tb skin test that I paid for as invalid as well after they already approved it and it’s valid for at least a year stay out of my profile messing up stuff incorrectly in the weeee hours of the night ! Get a life Cna licenses expire every two years why are yal even on my profile every week and I haven’t picked up any shifts

Waste of my time. Every time I turn around they were declining something I fix it and ask is everything good now then I would get told it is fine. The next day it’s denied again and told that every time I fix something it starts the wait time of 7-10 business days over again. I just gave up . Customer service isn’t on the same page. I talk to this person they say this. I talk to another person they say something different. Was excited about it but dealing with them just wasn’t worth it no more.

The Best Agency ever that will help you settle. I’ve been with Shift key for about two years and since then I’ve never been broke and you get to choose your own schedule. The pay is great nothing to complain when you’re working with Shift key

Time slips. The person who is going over the time slips can not read or comprehend different calligraphy. It’s annoying to see a paper declined for absolutely no good reason resulting in a delay of pay after having worked especially long hours. Also if I do a double I should be able to write one slip instead of wasting paper and having people sign 8 times. The system needs to be updated to fit modern standards. If it was done electronically there would be no issues regarding slips and payments.

Beware.. I finally signed up. Jumped through all their hoops. Picked up my first shift (two days in a row, actually) for a decent rate. Other apps offer more, but decent nonetheless. Worked the first 12 hour shift. Submitted the PAPER worklog (2022?), and it was refused. I was directed to call the facility, which I did, spoke to the person who signed the worklog. They hadn’t heard from anyone. No one had called to verify, it was just refused. I canceled the next days shift. And deleted my account. I don’t work for free. Be careful that you don’t end up working for free too.

Cna/ gna. The facilities will cancel you but it will not show on the app. They will wait until you get there or call you. And then when they call to cancel and you do not show it is a ncns. So no now when they call to cancel I will contact shift key. Not that it makes a difference because they do not actually check and I am still fighting for a pay from a facility. There are better apps for employment out there. Try them if you do not want to fight for your money and false ncns.
