Wildly inaccurate. Can’t believe how wildly inaccurate this database is. I uploaded a photo of a scarlet macaw and it thought it was a golden parakeet.

Works quite well!. Found out what the mystery insect was ;)

Doesn’t work. Downloaded and it says cannot connect to server. Meh

Accurate but useless.. Tried it on a few species I was not sure about. The results were pretty basic. Dog, cat, turtle, etc. I know what it is. I am not stupid. What kind of turtle is this?

Not a good app. I was out in the desert today and I found a type of lizard and I wanted to see what type. And it didn’t identify it for me, or my step sisters dog

Doesn’t work. I used this on my chihuahua and it said it was some sort of 30 pound Indian dog. My chihuahua is barely 15 pounds. I also did it on my Grandmothers long haired chihuahua and it said it was some sort of terrier. It just guesses, and I get that it’s hard to tell breeds but don’t pretend you can if you can’t. I mean really.

bro what 😭. I was trying to find a breed of a chicken. It said it was a dinosaur. I decided to double check if the app actually worked by using it on my meat chicken that I raised for FFA since i know its breed and it said it was a muscovy duck.

No this frog is not a Locust. apparently you need to verify if the results are correct even be seen before seeing the results. other results came up in Chinese…

Great for curiosity. This app I’ve used it a couple times and so far there has not been a single ad where as other apps will have so many ads but this one no. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because it tried to access all my photos which was kinda personal space invading but other than that it’s a great app and I recommend it to curious people.

Helpful app. This app has the ability to identify a wide variety of animals and insects, although the insect identification is fairly generic rather than specific. It is amazing that this app works so well.

Okay. Seems okay, but there is not a Wikipedia page or picture for some of the animals, so I can never fact-check it. I deleted it because of this but may re-install if it gets updated with more wiki pages. Also, it seems to not think dog breed mixes exist, I don’t expect them to get the breed right every time or add ALL the mixes, but I would like some of the more popular mixes, like the golden doodle, idk. But yea.
