Logs out with every update. Requires a login every week. Password reset doesn’t work properly and I’m left with light bulbs on for no reason because of half baked programmers.

Garbage. The app gets worse and worse, one of my light disconnected and I can no longer connect it to wifi becuase the “continue” button doesn’t work. Tried multiple devices on different iOS versions.

slow and annoying to use. It’s constantly lagging and I’ll have to input the same command 2 or 3 times just to get it to respond and it always takes forever. This app and system need far more development then it has.

Horrible software. It is very complicated to set up a simple on and off timer for an outside plug and the interactions are totally not intuitive. I will spend more money for a plug that is easy to program.

One app to build smart home. Noma iQ app is really easy to find, install and use. I had no issues and found it pretty user friendly. Me and my family are enjoying the Noma IQ app! Its seamless connectivity and user-friendly interface make managing smart home devices a breeze. The ability to control various appliances and share access with family members adds a convenient touch to the home automation experience. The ease of controlling your products like light bulbs, air purifier or air conditioning etc. with just a tap on your app or even better - voice controlled with your home assistant is something to enjoy and consider. Flawed but awesome. Has a couple hiccups in the app (logging out randomly sometimes or slow to apply changes to my power bar) but for the most part it just works and allows me to control my saltwater tank with timers or while I’m away. Basically turns lights into smart lights

Don’t even think about buying these ‘smart’ bulbs. Have been trying to set up my bulbs for over two weeks and just keep getting a ‘Noma server temporarily unavailable - try again in a few minutes’ error. Threw the bulbs out and got some from GE.

Amazing product.. I love this product. I have 4 bulbs working on two different schedules. No problems at all. No need for timers or electricians to install switches with times. No idea how long it will last but so far so good.

No lag connectivity between App and lightbulb. It was fun and a delightful experience when I used Noma SmartWifi LED bulb for my standing light. I am impressed by it's performance and features. The set up was easy. First I needed to inserted the light bulb to my light bulb socket, followed by installed NOMA iQ app on my smartphone, then use the App to connected the lightbulb to my home WiFi network, and lastly just paired the lightbulb with the App on my smartphone. Once I installed the Noma app, it guided me to do the installation process until the lightbulb successfully worked. The ability to control lightbulb remotely via my smartphone app is added more convenience to my daily routine. I can easily switch on or off, adjust the brightness, use voice command to control it, or set a timer of whenever I want my lightbulb to be on and off. The type of the lightbulb that I tried is shape A19 base E26, energy used 9 watts, light output 800 lumens, and life of 15000 hours. I experienced reliable and consistent connectivity with Noma Smart WiFi LED bulb. I've noticed that there is no lag when I control it via the App or voice command. Extremely basic. App doesn’t work the way it should. “Experiences” automatically change themselves the second i hit “save” - even after updates and re-sync and renaming them repeatedly. The lights turn themselves on and off at really wild moments as a result. Like off at 6am (when you’d want them to turn on) and on at 940pm after people are already in bed and want dark (yes I went back and checked that they were set up right). Can be jarring when it happens. The lights itself and the basic on off function are great and work most of the time. But any of the added selling features are meh. Also no strobing or colour change options beyond all one color which was a let down.

User friendly app. Recently I received NOMA light bulbs and WiFi plus to test from Butterly and of course I installed this app. I found it very easy to use, interface looks nice and user-friendly. I didn't face any issue with the app and I can recommend it for your smart home.

Colour wheel is an issue. It’s really hard to match the colours when you are running multiple lights. The colour wheel is not very helpful. The app should have a base of solid colours so all lights are consistent colours. Use the wheel to tweak from there.

Mind if it’s own. App works decent but noticed my AC switch modes/temperature on it own.

Can’t change 5m multicolour strips back to white. Not sure when this changed but I just bought another 5 meter multicolour strip and found that I can’t change it back to white using the white button. Can get it somewhat white using the color wheel but then it’s not bright.

Slow response between app and bulbs. Any action I click on the app takes forever to execute. -Turning on/off the bulb through the app takes 2 mins to actually occur. -changing the colour or changing dimness takes a long time before the bulb actually changes colour or dimness Connection / reaction time needs to be better. Poor quality.

App works great. The app works perfectly with our NOMA 50 pint dehumidifier. Only been using it for couple of months, but so far everything is good.

Easy to use it. Here at home we can’t do without those smart bulbs and plugs. It’s much easier to control and more economical. These are from the NOMA iQ™ brand and have an app via Google Play or AppStore where you can program them to turn on and off or you can do it manually too. Wannabe Apple Home. If I can run a Bluetooth speaker off of Bluetooth alone, there’s no reason why I shouldn’t be able to run a dehumidifier with just Bluetooth all I’m doing is turning it on or off and making some minor adjustments. You don’t need my Wi-Fi password and Wi-Fi connection to operate something that’s 5 feet away from me, therefore I don’t need your app. I’d rather get up and make necessary changes then give you information that you really should not need.

make a set a timer. can we get a feature for timer on light so will automatically shut off. #PLEASE

Couldn’t go to sleep. Was trying to lower the brightness for a solid 30 mins for bed, unfortunately my switch is broken so I rely on this light app, bad decision

Simple and Effective. The Noma iQ app for Apple is honestly such a simple app to navigate. The design and colours are bright and everything is laid out perfectly for ease of finding what you need. Voice control, wake/sleep function, sharing with family members - this app includes everything you need for the Noma iQ products. I love the simplicity of it, especially for someone who isn’t super “techy”.

Won’t let me connect to wifi? (air purifier). I am trying to connect my air purifier to the wifi, and it detects it - but when I put my password in, it won’t let me press “continue” ? Is this a bug? I want to connect my Noma to my phone so I can turn it on and off when I’m not at home.

So glitchy. Im not sure how there are so many glowing reviews for this app. I wish I had the same app those people have, but I find it so buggy. 1) slow to respond to changes. This is the most annoying. I adjust the dimness or change the colour and it’s quite slow to react. 2) setting up experiences is not straight forward or intuitive. 3) the colour wheel does not match the colour the bulb emits. Mostly see this with yellows and pinks. Yellows are super pale and pinks or like deep magenta. 4) intermittently have to select the on/off button multiple times for it to actually react. Probably the same issue as #1 5) intermittently does not connect to the internet so I cannot access the lamps 6) intermittently logs me out of the app. Is there a security concern here? They’re light bulbs.

Great App for your home needs. The app is super easy to navigate and use. Can’t connect. Keep getting an error “ noma iq server temporarily unavailable”. Been trying to come g for hours and the flashing lights are driving me insane.

Good product. I tried different types of remote control outlets, but this Dual Plugs “NOMA IQ” is one of the best in the market. It gave me an easy way of switching my Christmas lights outside even when the worst frigid weather is at minus 40 degrees Celsius. It’s a good product and I highly recommended it! A 5 stars for me!

Works well for the most part. I use the app for my Noma Smart Wall Plugs and for my Noma Smart Light Bulbs. Downloading and creating an account for the app was easy, the set up process with the app for the smart wall plugs was super quick and easy. I love how I can control the plug from my phone to turn on or off, there is usually a 1.5 second delay with the functions but it's not too bad. When it comes to the smart bulbs, I did have trouble with the connection process when setting up the bulbs, it took three tries and after using the product for a week, one of the bulbs showed "offline" and didn't connect to the app. I had to resync the product for it to work again so it was annoying but other than that the app worked pretty well.

Light up your life with a few clicks. I downloaded the Noma iq app on my iphone to control my Noma smart bulbs and plugs. The app is easy to use and has a nice interface. I can adjust the colour and brightness of the bulbs, set timers and schedules, and create custom scenes. I can also use voice commands with Alexa or Google Assistant to control the devices. The app works well most of the time, but sometimes it logs me out which is seldom. Overall, I think the app is a good companion for the Noma smart products. I would give it 4 stars out of 5 rating based on my experience as it has helped in so many ways to make life easier with a few clicks to create beautiful ambiance in my home .

Problème de connections. Tout allais bien jusqu’à il y a 2 jours. Mes 2 purificateur d’air étaient connectés à l’application et fonctionnaient très bien. À un moment donné, ils se sont déconnectés sans raison et depuis, incapable de les reconnecter. Tout bogue à l’étape « ajout de l’appareil au réseau ». Il y a un message d’erreur qui dit de recommencer dans quelques minutes… ça fait 2 jours que c’est comme ça. Décevant car je voulais m’acheter un déshumidificateur NOMA IQ bientôt, mais là…

App stopped working. Locked me out of my account, won’t let me reset my password and cannot find contact support to resolve the issue.

Good Product but App needs work. Have owned a NOMA Portable AC unit for about 7 days. It works great. However, when using the app it persistently shows room temperature at -4C and the setting is at -5C. The unit itself says 23C and works fine. A power cycle fixes it for awhile. The customization options are what make it worth it.

Wrong measurement. My portable air conditioner now indicates negative Celsius on the app. 25 degree Celsius shows as -3. And it won’t go lower than that. Meaning I have to walk to the unit and set the temperature manually. It’s kind of annoying.

Great light when you can connect via the app. Welp, it’s a great light backed by one of the worst apps I’ve ever tried; freezes, stalls, doesn’t open, need to manually log in most times just to turn light on, etc. Aaaaanyways, gotta go log in before I can turn on the lights in a few minutes. So easy to use!. The app is very straightforward to navigate and takes you through every step. You can name each bulb and plug and divide them up into individual rooms or group them together so they’re easy to find and control.

trash. it dosent work i tried whit my moms phone and mine , nothing, it forced me to save my password and other things that are completely useless, dont recommande . i already though it was stupid to have allll that information and log in thing bc there should just be bluetooth ?! and i really dont like the location thing , so yeah one star

Problème de fiabilité et constance. Malheureusement soit l’application ou les ampoules que je me suis procurées sont problématiques. Sur 6, il y en a 2 qui fonctionnent aléatoirement. Je suis déçu car le potentiel est là mais je n’arrive pas à en profiter. J’ai essayé toutes les solutions retrouvées en ligne. J’espère que la prochaine itération sera mieux. J’ai espoir je donne donc 3 étoiles. Il s’agit d’un investissement significatif et ma conjointe refuse que l’on investisse dans le matériel intelligent maintenant.

So easy to use and works every time.. This app is super user-friendly and convenient to use. The setup process was a breeze, and I encountered none of the usual minor issues that often come with connecting apps. I can easily manage everything from the palm of my hand, and it's especially handy when I'm lying in bed and realize I forgot to turn things off; a quick fix with just a few taps on my phone.

Good start to home smart. Had some initial hiccups trying to connect the smart bulbs to our network and having to flick the light switch 5 time each time to try and connect was a little bit of a pain. But once we were connected, the app was pretty user friendly. The smart plugs were definitely much easier to connect and being able to add all family members, share controls and set up experiences/triggers to schedule the bulbs and plugs has been terrific! Looking forward to testing out the voice assist.

Doesn’t respond. The app appears to be connected but does nothing to the device except turn the screen lights off and on. Nothing else functions.

Easy to Use and Convenient. The NOMA IQ app is really easy to use. Setting up your smart devices is easy, even for a beginner like me. It took me less than five minutes to set up new smart plugs and bulbs, and setting up commands was quick.

Won’t allow connection. The app won’t let me sign in, create a new account, go to verify account “client error”. No matter what I have tried, the same issue s to occur. Not simple or easy.

great app but slightly laggy. The NOMA iQ app was super easy to install and connecting the different devices (I had the light bulb and a Wi-Fi outlet plug). The ability to have a “room” setting is really great. Every device took less than 5 mins to set up (with Bluetooth and location and home Wi-Fi password). The only criticism is there’s a small lag when turning devices on/off, and changing colours / dimming / brightness on the LED light bulb. Voice control works great (I have a Google device) and the scheduled time “Experience” is great especially for the outlet plugs for when I want it turned off in the middle of the night.

Terrible setup — doesn’t work. Once I have found the device with the app, it prompts me to enter my wifi password. This is all fine, except the only button to move forward is “continue” and it won’t click. Will be returning this product and avoiding this brand.

Love it. App is easy and user friendly and has changed my life being able to turn it on before coming home from work or if I notice the temp in the house is too high for my pets. Wish I’d bought one sooner. I find it a little loud for my sensitive ears but no louder than any other portable unit I’ve been around. Highly recommend

Glitchy. I’ve had these for less then a year. They worked great up until recently. Now the automated setup won’t work so my lamp stays on all night, won’t turn on either. When I go to turn it off with the app it won’t work, I wake up and the light is still on despite the automatic setup and me manually turning it off with the app. When I’m not home and go to turn something on it won’t even come up it’s like it’s disconnected. I don’t know what happened but these don’t work now. Pretty disappointed as they aren’t cheap. I’m not sure what I’m going to do when we’re away. I’m not buying more if these if this is what they’re like after 8 months.
