Needs updates. If k can only get inside via this app, there should be no bugs. It’s inconvenient and glitches. The gate does unlock although it says it’s unlocked

Awesome Feature. This is an amazing feature to utilize for any size gated community! We love the ability to see who we let in the front gate whenever the pizza delivery guy brings us our pizza! 😋

Terrible. It doesn’t work properly. It doesn’t add any value to the old intercom system. People call you to drop a package when you are somewhere else, it doesn’t make sense.

Inconvenient and buggy. A simple concept that should work easily. Unfortunately the app logs you out randomly and what feels like the most inopportune times. It also doesn’t always send the signals properly and you have to try several times.

Hate this.. This entire system has made my life way more difficult. It’s not at all user friendly. And is creating a unsafe area for people and their vehicles.

I wish I knew that this existed. I don’t know why there has not been a separate post informing the residents of this app. It may have been buried in the Smart Rent information, but no one I know made it that far! I was trapped in the stairwell when I didn’t have to be. Please send out a community wide email so that tenants don’t have rig the doors so that they can get back into the building which unfortunately allows people who do not belong here access. If you belong here, a resident will be able to open a specific door to allow children, girlfriends, friends etc. a way to get in. As a resident, I’m here to tell you that other residents are clueless about this extraordinary feature. I wasn’t feeling the Smart Rent installation, but now I am understanding just how deeply it changed the experience of living here.

Time to enter. Why is the time to enter not earlier than 9:45? We need 8:30 for our approved sub Luis. Thank you, R Simpson

Gate system. The gate system is ok but it becomes very disturbing when leaving the community. The gate should automatically open when leaving the complex instead of using the unlock app.

Constantly offline. This system does not seem reliable; within the first month it has been offline and/or just not working. I don’t know what to do to get it working.

Great idea but unreliable. Sometimes the guest codes work, sometimes not. I recheck to see if the dates are invalid but they are not…

Bad, buggy app. This app logs me off roughly once a week, and then refuses to let me log back in. After hitting the log in button many times it will finally log in. This always seems to happen when I have taken a walk, and am now locked out of my apartment gate trying to log in. This is definitely the apps fault. Secondly our apartment equipment goes offline at least monthly, which also inhibits access. This app gets a one star review because it has completely failed to match what a physical gate access box could do. A keypad, a clicker or a a key fob all would have worked much better. Frankly, equipment that controls wether you are locked out of your house or not is a complete failure if it has even a 90% success rate.

Good start…. However it would be extremely helpful if they made an Apple Watch app. Now I have to made sure Inam carrying my phone around anyplace I go around the apartment complex.

Doesn’t work. This is really a crappy system that works intermittently, sometimes the screen populates sometimes it does not. I would not waste the trouble. Have had the tech repair person out twice and he cannot figure it out either and he works for the company.

Stuck. I was stuck outside my residence in the middle of the night. Very scared and it was raining, the gates never opened it kept saying declined. Because of this trauma I’m going to love ASAP.

Pain in the neck, and on all levels. One has to have her phone fully charged and with her in rain, cold sleet, hail, windy whatever to get into any mail room, fitness room, clubhouse gate, etc. A fob was much easier. Lazy staff.

Apple Watch App Need. I would appreciate an Apple Watch App as I do t always carry my iPhone but I always wear my watch. My community has a portion for opening the pool gate. I would never take my phone to the pool but I always swim in my watch. Thank you for your consideration.

Issues. System is not working the way it supposed to access Hass to be looked at in different ways than what it is because the initial screen does not open up the gate

Unsafe. This new app is unsafe rather just having a remote and pushing it. We have to pick up our phones and look for the app and text it open. It goes against texting and driving there’s also a delay and looking for the correct open and also better in it at times. Very disappointed

Big problem. The roll out of this app is bad. Doesn’t work most of the time .

Gate-opening apps are inconvenient and unecessary. Unlocking gates from your phone while driving is unsafe and inconvenient. Plus, what happens if one's phone is dead or without service? More often than not our gate is offline, so we have to take ridiculous detours to get in and out. Nothing beats a good old-fashioned key fob.

Doesn’t integrate properly with Notifications or Bluetooth. The app works at a basic level, ie. I can unlock the door to let myself in and see a history of calls. However, despite agreeing to allow notifications & Bluetooth during installation, the app does not show up in Settings->Privacy & Security->Bluetooth, nor Settings->Notifications, nor somehow in the Settings full application list. This prevents me being able to configure notifications to come through any focus modes which renders the video call/unlock portion of the app pointless.

Doesn’t work. Glitchy. Slow.. Doesn’t work half the time. It’s slow. Not user friendly. App Design looks like a novice made it.

Inconsistent. Signs me out randomly, and gate calls don’t always go through. Other than that good app.

Too slow to open the app. When phone ring the app take too much time to open to press granted

Utter garbage. If you want to be locked out of your apartment for several minutes multiple times per week waiting for this garbage to load, then this app is for you. The epitome of fixing a problem that did not exist.

So convenient and efficient. Having this app has made accessing neighborhood a lot easier, not to mention more security monitoring, love this app!

Guest pass. We should be able to set our own codes

Literally locked out of my building. Garbage app. Logged out, password reset goes to a 500 internal error page, their business support phone line is disconnected, and when you call their “main” phone line for other products you are told “I can’t help you”. Well, I can’t access my building.

Nice Looking App but…. I wish there were clearer ways to understand what access point is which. This may be a CMS, or vendor side, as opposed to what the API is getting back. But categories of parking garage gate vs elevator would be nice. Favoriting or even GPS, it knows I’m near elevator 2, show me that first in the list.

Near Worthless in my Community. It’s likely the way my community installed this and set it up versus the app itself, but I can envision numerous resident’s guest not being able to get in because of this app. In the long run, we should have kept the guard.

First time user. Easy to use

Doesn’t work. I’m standing at the door to my package room and the door doesn’t open. The app says opening but nothing happens. Very irritating.

Used to be good but now. Used to be good but now keeps crashing and is supper slow to load all the available doors to select. Honestly a key fob would work much better.

The jury is still out!. The app seems to work fine as the front south gate…the one that I use more frequently than the others, responds perfectly. The only Caveat is the fact that my iPhone has a driver observer app from my auto insurance company that watches the way I drive including if I even so much as touch my iPhone while my cars engine is running. When I enter the property, and access the app to open the gate, this is interpreted as me using the iPhone while driving the car..thus resulting in points that affect my future car insurance rates. I do hope that ORION took this into consideration before installing this system…

Love this!. The app looks nice and is pretty easy to use. I for one loose my keys all the time but my phone is always with me, so knowing I can get in this way also is great peace of mind.

Not fully accessible with voiceover:. This application is not functioning correctly, where it is blocking settings for launching a keypad to open a entry gate. An update is probably needed to fix this inaccessibility coding problem.

Keeps logging me out. This app has a lot of potential and when it works it’s great, but logs you out when needed the most. It causes a lot of stress when cars are waiting for you to log in again.

Practical. I love the flexibility that use of this app lends me! It is so convenient and user friendly.

Works Well - No Loner a Skeptic. When our HOA implemented this system to reduce expense associated with having guards at the front gate I had concerns about the change. Since the I have come to accept and even appreciate the efficiency of this system. It has worked well with the RFID tags placed on our vehicles and has been great when visiting with a rental car. So far it has exceeded my expectations. I will say, however, that when relying only on a cell phone to enter, I am a bit concerned that forgetting my cell phone will create an issue. The ability to use the kiosk to “phone a friend” helps alleviate this concern. So far so good. At this time, in the infamous words of “The Monkeys”, I’m a Believer!

Needs work. Loading times are slow when trying to open gate

Signs me out EVERY DAY. Version 3.9.5 signs me out EVERYDAY so I have to log in to the app when I get home and I’m sitting at my complex’s gate with people behind me…ANNOYING…please fix….

Good system.. I would like it better if there was a way to access more than one phone number per account. If I’m working it would be nice if a second phone was called to grant access. Other is super clear and works very well.

loooking good. overall, I believe the complex is really looking good. The maintenance guys do a wonderful job and they’re on point the only issue that I can think of that could be easily fixed is the TVs in the gym all that needs to happen is to go to Walmart and get two $10 antennas HD antennas and plug those into the TVs and he would have up to 50 channels which would also give you the local channels off air for free and that way on the weekends when there’s sports on people who are working out to watch their games otherwise everybody seems to be doing a great job tomt

What da?. Be nice if we had something to review this with I have no idea what I’m doing don’t know what the difference LM front gate or front gate reader is. would be nice if there was some explanation on the differences utilizing this app. Finally received some help from the management company that sold me dish app. They finally woke up and sent me an access code app. seems to be working fine.

A nightmare!. When the app works it’s nice but I am having a serious issue with my account after moving to a new unit within the same apartment complex. Basically, my account is bricked as the invite sent to me for the new apartment can’t be accepted as there’s an error message stating I can only be a part of one community at a time. THE APP DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO LEAVE ANY OTHER COMMUNITIES. My leasing office also has no idea what to do and has informed me that I need to contact the app owners and request that my account be deleted so they can invite me again. The process to get your account deleted is beyond ridiculous as the app makes you fill out form asking for way too much information. Regardless, I submitted the form to have my account deleted WEEKS AGO and no one has gotten back to me and my account has NOT been deleted. I am having to resort to desperate means such as emailing the Chamberlain Group directly and leaving this review as I have no idea what else I can do. I can update the review of the issue ever gets resolved but I don’t have high hopes. Sincerely, Locked Outside

User function issues. I’m disappointed that as the facility owner I can’t view all history/activity from all access events. The only access events each user can see is their own that is created with their code. The only way to see all history is to use your browser and log into the web portal. :( 👎 Also it was hoped and expected to be able to view the live video feed from the app. Again you have to use your browser and log into web portal to view live feeds. Come on let’s make the App functional please!

Update needed. I set a code on Wednesday for my repairman to get in and out of the gate. I set the continuos entry, I set the dates from Thursday till the 30th of this month at it only works day to day. If had to request a new code everyday and my phone number has not been updated. Still having to request a new code daily to allow my contractor to enter the gate.

App Crashes. This app constantly crashes once a visitor is calling. Which is the primary function of the app. I have to them relaunch and just hit the instant open gate button which is extremely inconvenient. In addition it doesn’t work on certain android phones.
