FACEMOTION3D App Description & Overview
What is facemotion3d app? With FACEMOTION3D, you can capture facial expressions with an iOS app and communicate in real time with 3DCG software on your PC. You can also FBX export the recorded animation data.You can also import VRM format files into the iOS app.

This app can create facial animations by communicating in real time with DAZ Studio, Maya, Unity ,UnrealEngine and Blender. In addition, you can bake recorded animations within the iOS app via streaming.
To use it, first start this app, then download and connect the plug-in script add-on used for data examination on the PC side.
Very accurate facial motion capture is very easy to do.
This app is only available on iPhone / iPad with Face ID or iPhone / iPad with A12 Bonic or higher CPU.

* Face ID is not used in the new iPhone SE 2nd generation released in 2020, but you can use FACE MOTION 3D by updating to iOS 14 or later. FACEMOTION3D can be used not only for the 2nd generation of iPhone SE but also when it is equipped with an A12 or later chip and has been updated to iOS14.
The camera image and resulting depth data are only used to send the motion capture data to the user's PC. That data is not saved on the iPhone. You need access to the camera to get depth data from Apple's API.
This application is only used to communicate with PCs in the same network and does not send any information to third parties.

Works ok but minor issues. App detects motion pretty nicely but the avatar constantly shakes or vibrates despite not having this issue with similar apps. Purchased the ability to record hoping to send videos to friends but there is no audio so what's the point, will be requesting a refund. Needs work. Update: followed developers recommendations to try to get audio and it still doesn't work. Avatars are also slowly starting to shake worse and worse. Absolutely unusable. 1 star
Pretty good. Using for 2 mouth, happy with the app but 2 issues: 1. Mouth opens too much when talking 2. Can’t capture the words F or V. These issues are annoying . Hopes it get fixed
Great app!. Been working great for me even in the trail mode. Been using the $5 monthly full version from time to time with pretty good results.
Fails on Blender. Tried both live and recording. While 5 seconds isn’t much, I would have expected SOME movement…got nothing at all. Blender 2.93.
Suggestions!. This app is nice! I used the trial version to test it. It would be great if it had .VMD and .VPD format export for MikuMikuDance! Please consider!! Also, full body tracking would be great! Thank you for making this app!
This app is a joke.. I contacted developer at Facemotion3d.info detailing the fact that live streaming does not work because the PORT is not ESTABLISHED but constantly in TIME-WAIT. Phone IP and Blender IP are correctly configured but no live connection means the APP is a joke especially when their AVATAR sample included in the blender plugin failed to live stream. I would love to get full refund for both my licenses if possible.
Nice but some glitches. It does the job but i can’t figure out how to adjust the settings because I’m stuck in long time streaming mode. Also, my phone gets concerningly warm a bit.
Vbridger uses Unity Sub. Editing this review because originally I subscribed to other under the impression vbridger would require the other license, only for it not to work. Dev response corrected that misunderstanding so I have changed my review. Now that it works as expected it is pretty smooth and seems to be more accurate than iFacialMocap which I also have been using
