Jesse Kelly. While I enjoy all the hosts, Jesse Kelly stands out. He is smart, funny, real and tells it like it is. An ‘edgy’ Rush Limbaugh for an edgy time. Bravo

App has annoying issues. Every time a commercial comes on, the app freezes and I have to close it and open it again. This has been going on for a while and it’s time they fix it.

Not a good App on Apple TV. This is really a frustrating experience on Apple TV. User is only able to watch a live feed and doesn’t have access to home menu and the shows that have previously aired. So, unless you can watch live, skip this app and watch on your iPhone where all the features are available.

Can’t back out of app from Live broadcasts. Love the app content but gets stuck with no way to get out of live programming without uninstalling and reinstalling the app

Great content, but.... This app has a long way to go. I open it and it says “click here to watch live”. If it were live programming I couldn’t fast forward. Then the only way to navigate from “Live” to the list of programs is to double click the home button, swipe the app from my screen, then reopen the app. It crashes. It crashes when I try to open some programs, over and over. Another program may play. Go back to the original one, it crashes again. Turn the volume up, it crashes. Same if I turn it down. Please get it right!

Can’t navigate back to home screen from watching live or vids ... I’ll continue to watch ..as this is a new platform ..and will assume they will fix this major bug ..as I’m looking forward to the programming lineup ..but for now ..after watching a vid ..you need to close/reboot the app in order to get back to the ‘home’ screen ..

Great but too quiet!. What’s wrong with your volume? I crank my volume up completely and can still barely hear!

Love the news but. I started watching because I am a fan of Bill O’Reilly and like him and everyone else I have watched so far. The issue I have is that often when a break comes, rather than getting whatever they put in for fill (opinion, good news, promos) gets bumped off and all these ads for shows on ABC come on. I have to close it all down and start over - aggravating!!

Get rid of the Spanish commercials. Came here because I’m starving for news. I shut everything down, no more Fox (ever), no drudge, no nothing. Just to be assaulted with Spanish commercials on The First. Wake up idiots.

Crashes. Anyone else having issues with it loading and crashing within seconds the last couple days??

Fantastic App. Finally an app where the shows are honest!

Apple TV App Problems. I’ve been watching The First’s live stream on Apple TV through Pluto, but wanted to see some of their other shows on demand, so I downloaded the app. The app opens to the live broadcast, and these is a note at the bottom of the screen to press the menu button to return to the home section. However, when I press either the menu or home buttons, the app closes. When I press the menu button, the screen flashes before closing the app, which appears to be a crash. I tried reloading the app and cycling the power on my Apple TV, but nothing changed. So, I’m no better off with the app than I was watching on Pluto. I still gave the app three stars because the mobile version works perfectly on my phone. I like that the audio still plays while the phone is locked.

Why are there 2 separate APPs. There are 2 separate apps listed in Apple APP store. Why? I download one and the other looks like it downloads at same time. Then I go to play video and it’s playing Picture-in-picture mode? Had to delete but I would love to download again if it’s fixed.

Great but….. I love the Dana Show @ 11:00 but every time she goes to her first commercial and comes back, the sound is all broken up! Every day this happens. What’s up with this? No point of watching if you don’t know what she is saying!

Crashing issues. App crashes after about 5 secs of being launched. Is there a fix to this?

You can never have too much Jesse!. Jesse’s droll tongue in cheek observations are hysterical! He’s notorious for trolling trolls, lank feminists and those who feel a bit too self-important! A fresh voice of humor much needed then a gut punch of realism. Check him out. And he’s insanely tall!

Switching from live tv back to home page doesn’t work. I have not been to able to return to the home page from live tv without turning my iPad completely off. Is there a fix?

Latest update won’t allow you to exit. The latest version of ThefirstTV for Apple TV will not allow you to exit the app. The only way I could get out of the app was to cycle power. Next time do some testing. I deleted the App.

Sorry, No Good. I have an iPhone with 256 gigs of storage, loaded the app last night. Went to check it out this morning, and it crashed three times. That was just from scrolling the menu of recorded shows.

Needs. Need a tab To continue watching so I can continue watching the clip I was on when I have to go out of the app and come back to it

Real News for FREE!!. Finally, something that I can watch to get the news without the constant barrage of insults from the lamestream media. If you’re sick of the major networks telling you everything that’s wrong with America and forever wallowing in the political correctness abyss, try this app. (It’s free so what do you have to lose?)

I think the Democrats are messing with the First App.. You Can’t sign in. I Tried to sign my wife up but it says she already has an account with her email but we can’t log in because it won’t let us change our password that we never made. Does Joe Biden or his Staff run this App.

Video exit. I too cannot exit a video without shutting down the app. This makes it impossible to navigate. iPad Pro 12” 4th gen 2020

Needs work. Can’t exit video back to main menu. App needs some work. And add text news articles, some of us actually like to read.

“Save-A-Lot” of irritation.. Great app. The SaveALot commercial is so hideous, grotesque and dumb-down crude I have to shut the app off.

Love content. App is bad.. Please fix the iphone and Apple TV apps. I love the content, but the only thing that runs is the live. The on demand content available won’t play. I had to delete the app and use the website in safari.

Freezes all the time. I use this app with my Firestick TV. I stream every other app with no issues. The First freezes all the time. It’s awful....I have to restart the app several times to make it work. Then it freezes again and again and again!!! PLEASE FIX THIS. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE TO KEEP TRYING TO USE YOUR APP!!! If I could give this app zero stars I would!!

This is what I have been looking for. I love the line up they have on this news app and that it is free. Just watched Bill O’Reilly segment and it was excellent quality sound and video.

Commercials. Does anyone not realize the same commercial plays over and over during one break? Yesterday, during O’Reilly, the one for Mississippi ran at least 5 times in a row. Tonight, DeVry University played over and over, at least 5 times in a row. No faster way to lose an audience. So aggravating!

News that is factual. The only reason I got this app is because I missed Bill O’Reilly and his No Spin show. He does a fantastic job.

Dana Loesch. Love Dana & her show, but she’s simply too beautiful to be relegated to listening on the radio or podcast only. Enter, The First! So glad I can now watch her show live AND on demand!!! Thanks guys.

O’Reilly Makes It Worth It. O’Reilly is why I downloaded this app. The other shows are very good too. Annoying when they play the same commercial 7, 8, 9, 10 times or more, over and over again, back to back. Yes, this happens. Also annoying is that they advertise the app so that you can watch them on their app. If you don’t have the app, you can’t see that ad!

Free. Yes, it is free and amazing! I am very happy with the quality and content that this app gives. I watch it on my iPhone and Roku TV, both work very well! I’m happy to see Bill O’Reilly is back because his insight is great! A must watch and FREEE!

App. You have the worst App I have experienced. It freezes and horrible audio. I am sure you can do better than this.

Only 1 complaint.... Overall the app is great. Have it installed on both my iPhone and Roku. Just one complaint... Auto play needs adjusted. Right now it plays the hours of a multi hour show backwards if on autoplay. Ex. If you finish watching hour 2 of Buck Sexton, Auto Play will then start hour 1 NOT hour 3. It doesn't make sense. You need to either 1) change the programming for order shows are played or 2) change the order shows are uploaded. Thanks 📺

I’M A SUBSCRIBER. Fix your app, I’m locked out of content and I’m a subscriber. I recently had to replace my phone and now I can’t watch certain programs because there’s some issue between your app and apples subscription finding common ground. I don’t enjoy leaving a low rating because I enjoy the content and hearing the hosts perspectives (especially Jesse, not gonna lie, he cracks me up). Please fix soon so I can give your app the rating it deserves.

Love the content, but the app crashes. The hosts on First TV are great and lay out their points in an understandable way with facts to back them up. However, whenever I try watching past episodes, the app almost always crashes a couple times before I get the video started, especially if I’m trying to find where I left off last time. Love the content, but the constant app crashes are infuriating!

PiP. Love the hosts, but can’t watch Picture in Picture. I multitask, especially during commercials. It crashes every time. It’s been over a year since an update so maybe they don’t care about the app for iOS.

Great way to watch conservatives including Bill o’Reilly. I’ve been using the app to watch shows but lately an ad has blocked all content.

Do not pay for content on this app. I decided to pay so I could get the live and simulcast. And to support the content on the app. But the entire app is junk! I watch as much commercials as I do whatever show I watch. It crashes a lot. They don’t update the shows regularly. You cannot scroll the homepage without glitching or just plain crashing and closing. And if I paid to subscribe why should I watch adds? IHEART is free and I can skip the adds. I think it’s more about revenue than content for THE FIRST. This is the only app I have ever paid money and it’s the worst app I have..

Glitches. Just downloaded today, excited about the content. App keeps glitching and shutting itself down. For one interview, I tried restarting it several times. Nope. Bummer.

Can’t Navigate. If watching live or video can’t navigate back to home or select another video or even exit, can’t without shutting down entire app

Worst App ever. Downloaded the app strictly for Bill O’Reilly. The first 2 times I attempted to watch segments of his No Spin News, the minute you click on it the app closes and you have to start all over again. There is no way to go back to home page and click on whichever segment you want to view, no you have to close the app and start all over again. I should just renew my Bill O’Reilly’s membership it works so much better. Forget this app.

Like O'Reilly BUT ads are killers. Tried channel but the continual horrible ads of Home Title insurance every few minutes was a killer for me. Could not take it....an insult to all his viewers. Maybe they should have the pillow guy on too. He kills me also for cable news....a sure channel Changer point. My point is O'Reilly = good. Channel and continuous ads = so bad, had to delete channel.

Notifications. When I get a notification about a news story then go to the app there is no obvious way to tell where to find the story. It would be better to include more info in notifications to allow the user to read the story

Unusable APP. You cannot smoothly scroll down through the different shows because it snags and jumps. Then the mouth lags behind the speech. I just tried to watch Bill O. and the segments would not play. It was just a black screen. Sometimes Jesse K. is nothing more than a bunch of overlapping squares. I don't have any problems like this with other apps. I do enjoy the app when it works. I hope someone can fix it. Thank you.

Good content. Terrible App. App freezes, shuts down . Even the Fios channel does, so it’s you, not me. I’d watch more if it worked. Now, they're begging for money. I’d pay a bit for something that worked, but this is good 2021 content stuck on a 1921 delivery system.

Would Love to Watch but App Freezes. I would love to watch The First TV, but the app is constantly freezing and buffering, making for a hard time watching. Every other app on Amazon Prime works fine.

No Captions for Hearing Impairment. In AppleTV, tried several ways to find an option to turn on captions. Is this app in violation of ADA?

No longer live on YouTube this app needs a lot of work. Having to watch bill O’ Riley now through the iPhone app screen mirroring to Apple TV takes way too long to buffer and you cannot back up the way that you could on YouTube Please put the live broadcast back on your YouTube channel it worked fantastic this app on iPhone needs a lot of work the it group needs to get to the drawing board and make that app work better otherwise I’m bye-bye and I’ve been a consistent viewer of O’Reilly for 15 years

The worst possible app. I can not watch the news live I hate this app so much I am uninstalling this app right away I hope this app gets taken down from the App Store

FIX the app. 1. (ipad Landscape view lacks Back button Portrait view has.) Cannot User Interface Close button the episode or the app, thus can only view one episode of Bill O'Reilly. Only Close button seen is when picture-in-picture mode but it just maximizes view the same as the Max/Min button. Force Closing the app with the physical button is my only recourse. Landscape view top bar line should show navigation buttons but instead duplicates a partial overlay of the video episode. Programming solution is to show the button bar when in Landscape view. User work-around is to rotate ipad to Portrait view to use Back button to get to the Home screen and do it all again. 2. Cannot view remainder of episode after the first Bill O'Reilly commercial break. App automatically skips ahead after the ad by fast forwarding through three or four episodes. Likely a recurring URL bookmark link problem. Fix the bookmarking problem. 3. App randomly task backgrounded itself giving me the false impression it quit on its own. Wow! Navigation bug + Ad bug + Task control bug = failed app. App is worth 4 or 5 stars just to watch Bill O'Reilly No Spin other than Google's YouTube. Had to give it only 1 star for now because of those fundamental usability problems.

App keep shutting off. Takes a long time to access and just shuts off - I won’t be renewing subscription. It’s easier just to listen to show on iHeart.

On demand doesn’t work on TVos 14.02. Love the channel but I can’t access on demand programming since I updated to TVos 14.02. I have emailed the developer and haven’t gotten a response.

Awful app but great content. Stops, freezes, jerky navigation but great content and talent. Wish the app operated better.

UNUSEABLE!!!. Really disappointed. I have an iPhone 8+, iOS 13.4 and 5 - 10 seconds after I open the app it closes. I have enough time to select a show and that’s it. TOTALLY UNUSEABLE. Please fix soon!!!

Exiting video. There is no navigation to exit a currently watched video. It applies to a live video or previously recorded. Have to exit the app and re-launch. That doesn’t make any sense.

Crashes. Continues to crash even after reloading.

What happened?. I downloaded the first TV app to my AppleTV (tvOS 14.2 18k57) on election night because I wanted something besides the main stream coverage. At first it was a little buggy, but worked well enough. I could go to the home page and see the other shows and choose what I wanted to see. For some reason, a couple weeks later, that's no longer available/working. When I launch the app, there is a note at the bottom of the screen that says Press the menu button to exit and return to the Home screen, but now it takes me all the way back to the AppleTV home screen. I can longer see any of the other shows, only what's on at the time I open the app. Swiping does nothing. At the top of the screen a note -sometimes- appears to swipe down, but all that gets me is audio settings. I followed the "support" link, but all that did was take me to FirstTV's website with no actual support. As far as I'm concerned, this app has gotten worse for the end user. I give it two stars because what content I can see is pretty good, but otherwise don't recommend this app unless changes are made to fix the above issues. I've deleted and re-downloaded the app twice. I have

COMMERCIAL LOOPED. You get 2 minutes of live streaming and 8 minutes of Looped Commercials, rinse and repeat!

App stops. Like the lineup and content... The app has issues.....especially running on fire stick.....stops...buffer issues...must stop and restart! Not my connection...all other streaming apps working fine.
