Very slow development... The company switched very fast to paid service whether it is the messenger or the email.. but as fast as they turned all their services into paid services as slow is the development.. no native iPad app 🤦‍♂️ after I received an response from them somewhere over I guess 18 months ago that it is in progress.. design is definitely a little bit outdated for 2025.. but overall i still use it along with Threema and signal.. messages are working fine.. I have a small bug with the emojis.. I would say maybe in the next update it should be solved.. but when is the next update..

Supposed. To be good while not ask for contacts . Will try to tell my friends about it.

No connection to server. I accidentally logged out of my account which I’m not mad about but I’ve tired contacting customer service to help my cause every time for the past 2 weeks when I try to make a new account it repeatedly says “No connection to server” plz help

As easy as it can be. This app is really serious. Beats all those E2E chat apps by miles. No phone number, email address needed to sign up. Swiss based for easier data privacy regulations. Thank you developers.

Limited access to photo gallery does not work. Why does this app need full access of my gallery?

Not working. For sometime the app did work but now it keep saying “no connection to server” where new feeds are not showing up anymore.

glitchy app. when trying to buy a unique ID - the application crashes on latest iOS. Also, the macOS version app is overloading CPU when the app window is open, this shouldn't happen

Ui is very buggy, clearly not updated for the current IOS version or it was ported from Android. App performance is too poor for it to be native performance on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Either a port or needs an update.

vids failing. i received some videos & they won’t load & play they keep loading to 100 the. starting back over

Very slow. The app is definitely a work in progress. It lags ALOT. When trying to send media even if it’s 19 secounds it takes for ever to upload and then even that the download speed is crazy long for something so short. Try to send family from overseas videos and they just take too long. Even a 10 second video I was trying to send saying hello takes for ever. Please update your stuff. There are literally so many apps that have faster download and upload speed than TeleGuard. It might not be working as good but others definitely have their media sending and downloading issue handled. Also if someone is sending media to someone why would they be required to download it manually. It should automatically be downloaded if someone send them something. On another note. Why does media expire after a certain amount of time? I heard it was a TeleGuard thing where after two weeks the media will expire. Please remove that or fix it to keep media content on there. Please work on that. Like REALLY work on it. Telegram puts yall to shame.

Need more development. Very interesting and promising app but lets say for middle east countries specially iran very poor video and audio call it takes an age to be connected and once its connected be disconnected immediately and quality is so poor

Broken. The messaging works but uploading pictures or videos doesn’t. Devs should check in on this.

No volume. For some reason out of nowhere none of the videos shared in the app have volume, even the ones sent from my device to the app. It’s very bad and super annoying.

No Connection to Server. App stopped working weeks ago. I’ve tried everything to address the “no connection to server” message, including uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing.

It’s not really secure or private. If you read the reviews looks like many users got banned for participating in illicit groups. TG banned them all, which means they can track, monitor, and see content of these groups, which contradicts its claim of being safe and private. I wish they could address this

Есть к чему стремиться. Мессенджер не сильно популярный, но несомненным плюсом является отсутствие необходимости использовать номера телефонов или электронную почту. Интерфейс у программы простой, но слишком примитивный, без анимаций, удобных жестов. На android отсутствуют по умолчанию уведомления 🔔. Сообщения удаляются из чата только вручную, КНОПКА ОЧИСТИТЬ ИСТОРИЮ НЕ УДАЛЯЕТ ИХ. В остальном все неплохо, аудио видео звонки работают (пока что). САМОЕ ГЛАВНОЕ ИМЕЙТЕ В ВИДУ ЧТО МЕССЕНДЖЕР С ЗАКРЫТЫМ ИСХОДНЫМ КОДОМ ПОЭТОМУ АВТОРУ МОЖНО ВЕРИТЬ ТОЛЬКО НА СЛОВО (в целом как и у остальных подобных приложений)

US cell cannot be linked. The app looks nice and the security aspect of it sounds great. Unfortunately, it is impossible to link my US phone number with the app - I get a “Send approve code error” every time I try. Therefore, I am unable to see any friends which might use this app. Update: The problem with my American cell phone is not due to adding additional 0s as suggested by the developer. The app shows the number correctly in the format +1-XXX-XXX-XXXX before it fails to send me the confirmation text message. Therefore I tried to contact customer support as instructed on their website directly via their Teleguard ID. However, I can’t communicate with them as nobody accepts my “invitation”. The contact for Teleguard Support shows since 2 weeks in broken English “you have send invite”. I still think this app would be great if it worked, but as of now, it does not work for me at all.

Great App with Room for Small Improvements. Thank you so much for the excellent Messenger app! It’s user-friendly, runs smoothly, and works great for communication. I’d like to suggest a couple of features that could make it even better: Please consider adding the ability to create polls in group chats — very useful for making group decisions. It would also be great to react to messages with emojis, such as 👍 👎 ♥️ 🤝 🤗. This would make conversations more expressive and engaging. Thanks again, and I wish your team continued success in developing the app!

A better alternative to Signal?. The privacy model is better than most other apps. I am hoping this becomes more stable in the near-term. One issue I am having is receiving notifications from a user in Mainland. This user is also having issues with receiving notifications.

Trash app. Paid for this app a few days ago and got device banned this morning when I woke up to check my messages. If I could give zero stars I would. I highly don’t recommend buying this app.

Horrible. Can’t believe I paid money for this. The slowest chat app I’ve ever used, videos take forever to load there’s no point.

“No connection to server”. The app has been down for a week now in Italy. Indication on the app says “No connection to server”. - very frustrating.

Bluetooth in my car. Add the ability to talk on the phone using Bluetooth in my car.

App quits. The app quits when trying to add phone credit.

App stopped working completely. Went to redownload the app but I cannot connect to the server has been about a month and it’s still not accessible.

I like the privacy (and newest update). Love the privacy aspect. I wish there was a way when clicking links you could anonymously preview it like in the swisscows app. I wish we could customize what the screen looks like. A dark mode would be excellent. Maybe even different colors. — Update: There is now a dark mode! My eyes won’t be strained anymore and I’m really glad. There’s also these things called Clubs, which I’m sure is the reason the rating went from general use to 17+ only. I don’t really use the Clubs and they’re a nuisance to have, but I’m glad I can toggle them off. I still love this app.

Not free. I don’t mean the app (I didnt mind paying for the app but they CHARGE for every phone call

amazing app but needs minor fixing. i think there should be an option inside the application to switch to bluetooth headphones or speakers but and it should completely automatically connect to device and do the switching process but there is no option and there is a hard and buggy process for that thanks continue the good work

Illegal activity. Let’s continue to ban those that spread CP!!! I’ve come across many of those disgusting twitter accounts that encourages pedos to join telegram, Session, and TeleGuard to engage in the distribution of CP. Other than that great app!!!

What a secure messenger should be. I'm so glad to have discovered this app. It's easy to use and functions as expected out of the box. So many other "private" messengers invalidate themselves instantly by tripping over some basic stumbling block; either by requiring a phone number, an email address or taking metrics/telemetry without the users consent. This app doesn't do any of this that I have observed in my DNS log. It's a sad indictment of our times that a privacy focused app actually being private is a genuine surprise. Thank you!

No connection to server. I can’t access my chats anymore as I’m having the no connection to server error

Great foray into encrypted chat app but needs improvements. Voice call option does not seem to work. Call is initiated, ‘Connecting’ shows on the screen but never successfully connects. Notifications are also somewhat unreliable and very quiet. Would be nice to see some options to select alternate sounds. Hope development continues.

Best of all apps. Give only 4 stars coz you can't buy I ID. Every time I try on iOS 18.2 the apps crash on my iPhone 15 pro max, Teleguard is updating to the latest version and iOS too, this is a huge bug
