Fox61. Is a very good station to see or watch.

Unwanted alerts. So I only selected weather alerts but this app is giving me story alerts unrelated to the weather so I guess will do without as I did with WFSB that was also giving tons of unwanted alerts. Wonder if same developer?

Review. Fox 61 News App is the best! I wouldn’t want any other one! I get the most news and up to date and accurate news! Most of all I love all of the team work! Keep up the awesome work! FOX 61 team rocks the news world!! ❤️

General comments. I like the reporting staff. Always informative. I will admit that I have scaled back the amount of time I spend listening to any news. Tired of the political front and definitely tired of Covid updates. I don’t need to know of every new case on CT. Yes, it is a contagious virus, just like the flu. Seems the same precautions can keep it at bay. At any rate, keep up the good work Fox 61!!!!

Why I watch Fox 61 For my morning news?. I enjoy all the anchors and reporters. I think the reporting is fair and as unbiased as they can be. I love the balance of hard news and more lighthearted stories. I enjoy the interaction of the different duos that are set up for anchoring at different hours. I just feel that they are more human than actors or robots reading a news prompter. I just moved and do not have cable TV so I am unable to pull Fox 61 on my antenna. At first I was very upset but then learned quickly that I can watch them on my phone with the app. So that’s what I do now every morning just watch them and listen to them on my phone app while I’m getting ready for work. Maybe if we get a new president and things doesn’t cost as much I will be able to afford cable TV in the future.

.. Crashes regularly . Volume cuts out.

App. I like the app I can turn my iPad OT like other news apps. The only issue is it stumbles on videos at the beginning

Tiresome. Just updated to the new version, did they ever hear of the word ‘condense’ ? Takes forever to go thru pages and pages to see the news.... I agree with others, the old version was much better....

App crash. After the latest update the app crashes as soon as I load it. Tried everything with no luck.

Home heating oil.. I know this is not a review. Your coverage of local news is very good. But Not one single word of the high cost of home heating oil. If this continues to rise higher in price most Connecticut residents may have to sell to a warmer state. Move to a southern climate. Why is it that there is no reporting on this burden to home owners???

Top news~ all the time. All the news~ everyday and full coverage of 3 news & weather events! Outstanding staff coverage!

People. We love Keith’s personality he is always happy and will do anything . The kids love him and he is real .Matt need to be a little more quite . We like him but sometimes he can be annoying . Ok

61. 61 you’re the best I watch your news because you’re the most formative across the state and we also report inside of my black community which is a foreign to me Latino community which supports me and the white community would support to me

News. This is the only news station I listen too Live around corner from channel 3 but won’t watch it.

App. Too many alerts and very self promoting

Old version was better. This app gives late notifications and now you have to watch ads before being able to watch a video...which usually starts off with commercials. The old app was way better.

Channel 61. Great local news and updated weather!

Great app. For the latest news and weather information this app is by far the best. The app never freezes up.

Best newscasts in CT. I’m very impressed by the staff at Fox 61. All 169 cities and towns are covered thoroughly and there is no prejudice for one county over another. The weather staff is exceptional and fairly accurate compared to other venues. Thank you for the assistance from the daily questions submitted by the people and the answers. 61 my go to station for news. Always view state and local news on 61. Delivered by knowledgeable reporters and journalists.

5 stars. I love the entire team, from the morning crew up till the 11 pm broadcast I will ONLY watch them at this point, especially with Covid19. FACTS NOT FEAR IS SPOT ON

Fox 61. I love the morning news team. They are a family, with less animosity

Fox 61 CT News Ap. The Fox61 news ap is very easy to use. It is easy to search, easy navigate, easy to read. The look and feel is very user friendly. The only criticism I have is the folks who post the stories need to do a better job of proofreading to catch spelling and grammatical errors (double use of a word, missing a word).

Was good. Forces 30 second advertisements to be watched for a 12 second video clip. Not like it use to be

Fox 61 news. Gives the most comprehensive coverage, all morning long. Can tune in anytime for a quick check in; the other stations have gabfests or mock trials. May as well put on soaps. The app is easy to use and just as good as the station. Fair coverage of local & national news.

Not loading. Was there a new update? App is not working on iPad. Have deleted it, restarted iPad, reinstalled, and still no working. It briefly opens to black background with FOX61 icon in middle and then Immediately shuts down. How do I fix this?

Informative Stories. Fox 61 provides a wide range of stories on topics that are important to those of us living in CT.

Provocative. Sometimes your female staff could dress very provocative such as Erica in the morning and this is supposed to be a family show. Say that for your husband Erica not for year audience.

Cheesy. Can’t listen to the audio portion of videos while scrolling down to read the article pertaining to the video. App runs cheesy commercials before every video - and these aren’t short commercials! Definitely not a step up from the old app !

I would have given you 5 stars. I enjoy Fox61 however you should distance yourselves from the other Local News Stations and start reporting the truth when it comes to Trump… He was by far the best President ever elected and your station went along with the fake news ones and refused to tell the truth.

Crap site. Never updated-stale stories, extremely limited and have some nonsense called verify where they TELL you what’s accurate in the news_the assumption being they’re smarter than you. Don’t waste your time

App won’t play live. It’s been working great but all of a sudden today may 16, 2023 when you click on to watch live it doesn’t play. Not sure what’s going on. I’ve rebooted my iPhone deleted app and reinstalled it and still nothing. Please fix this issue it’s quite annoying. If it’s not gonna work anymore why have it take up room on my phone. Please fix I did love this app.

If it ain’t broken. I like the old format better. It was easier to maneuver around. I probably have missed some news simply by not knowing how to get to it. I am out of the state and depend on Fox 61 to update me prior to my return. Some of the news teasers that come up on my Apple Air-pad don’t culminate in fruition when I open them up. I do not have this trouble with other news organizations. I hope this helps, I’ll try to muddle along the best I can. Good luck, stay well.

Interface. Although I don’t mind reading the fox 61 app, it does appear to be a little tired and old. I think a whole new interface would spark a lot of life into it.

Maybe it’s me.... Every time I try to watch Live TV it makes me watch the same commercials over and over again. If I switch to another channel and come back to FOX61 Ive had to watch all the same commercials again. I’ve tried this 7 times and have yet to see any live television! Like I said maybe it’s me but I find this to be the worst live TV app I’ve ever experienced.
