Maybe it’s me.... Every time I try to watch Live TV it makes me watch the same commercials over and over again. If I switch to another channel and come back to FOX61 Ive had to watch all the same commercials again. I’ve tried this 7 times and have yet to see any live television! Like I said maybe it’s me but I find this to be the worst live TV app I’ve ever experienced.

Fix 61 News. I like the new format that Fox 61 is using. Easy to read. You can watch a video or read the material which I like. Easier to read format than before.

Provocative. Sometimes your female staff could dress very provocative such as Erica in the morning and this is supposed to be a family show. Say that for your husband Erica not for year audience.

Best newscasts in CT. I’m very impressed by the staff at Fox 61. All 169 cities and towns are covered thoroughly and there is no prejudice for one county over another. The weather staff is exceptional and fairly accurate compared to other venues. Thank you for the assistance from the daily questions submitted by the people and the answers. Not loading. Was there a new update? App is not working on iPad. Have deleted it, restarted iPad, reinstalled, and still no working. It briefly opens to black background with FOX61 icon in middle and then Immediately shuts down. How do I fix this?

True news. Fox 61 more true news not the democrats news that they want you to hear

Update. I enjoy the news from beginning to end, and a bit more so now that Matt Scott has been absent. Too much forced laughter.

Old version was better. This app gives late notifications and now you have to watch ads before being able to watch a video...which usually starts off with commercials. The old app was way better.

Fox 61 news. Gives the most comprehensive coverage, all morning long. Can tune in anytime for a quick check in; the other stations have gabfests or mock trials. May as well put on soaps. The app is easy to use and just as good as the station. Fair coverage of local & national news.

General comments. I like the reporting staff. Always informative. I will admit that I have scaled back the amount of time I spend listening to any news. Tired of the political front and definitely tired of Covid updates. I don’t need to know of every new case on CT. Yes, it is a contagious virus, just like the flu. Seems the same precautions can keep it at bay. At any rate, keep up the good work Fox 61!!!!

Always in the known.. I like this app, use it daily also enjoying it. Breaking news daily followed by local events. Forecast accurate to a minute. Always on top of breaking news.

App won’t play live. It’s been working great but all of a sudden today may 16, 2023 when you click on to watch live it doesn’t play. Not sure what’s going on. I’ve rebooted my iPhone deleted app and reinstalled it and still nothing. Please fix this issue it’s quite annoying. If it’s not gonna work anymore why have it take up room on my phone. Please fix I did love this app.

Great app. For the latest news and weather information this app is by far the best. The app never freezes up.

Interface. Although I don’t mind reading the fox 61 app, it does appear to be a little tired and old. I think a whole new interface would spark a lot of life into it.

Up to date 24/7. Need to know what’s going on in the world . At work appears on Applewatch or phone full description . Useful app ! Fully recommend .

News. This is the only news station I listen too Live around corner from channel 3 but won’t watch it.

Prescription shortage. Another prescription shortage nationwide is the Mounjaro diabetes type 2 medication; I’ve been trying to get my script filled and all I keep hearing from the pharmacies is that the prescription is not available and day don’t know when it will be in

If it ain’t broken. I like the old format better. It was easier to maneuver around. I probably have missed some news simply by not knowing how to get to it. I am out of the state and depend on Fox 61 to update me prior to my return. Some of the news teasers that come up on my Apple Air-pad don’t culminate in fruition when I open them up. I do not have this trouble with other news organizations. I hope this helps, I’ll try to muddle along the best I can. Good luck, stay well.

I would have given you 5 stars. I enjoy Fox61 however you should distance yourselves from the other Local News Stations and start reporting the truth when it comes to Trump… He was by far the best President ever elected and your station went along with the fake news ones and refused to tell the truth.

Tiresome. Just updated to the new version, did they ever hear of the word ‘condense’ ? Takes forever to go thru pages and pages to see the news.... I agree with others, the old version was much better....

Channel 61. Great local news and updated weather!

61 my go to station for news. Always view state and local news on 61. Delivered by knowledgeable reporters and journalists.

Cheesy. Can’t listen to the audio portion of videos while scrolling down to read the article pertaining to the video. App runs cheesy commercials before every video - and these aren’t short commercials! Definitely not a step up from the old app !

Informative Stories. Fox 61 provides a wide range of stories on topics that are important to those of us living in CT.

Great news app highly recommend. One of the best if not the best news app . Up to date and easy to use 5 star app on my book.

Home heating oil.. I know this is not a review. Your coverage of local news is very good. But Not one single word of the high cost of home heating oil. If this continues to rise higher in price most Connecticut residents may have to sell to a warmer state. Move to a southern climate. Why is it that there is no reporting on this burden to home owners???

Unwanted alerts. So I only selected weather alerts but this app is giving me story alerts unrelated to the weather so I guess will do without as I did with WFSB that was also giving tons of unwanted alerts. Wonder if same developer?

Why I watch Fox 61 For my morning news?. I enjoy all the anchors and reporters. I think the reporting is fair and as unbiased as they can be. I love the balance of hard news and more lighthearted stories. I enjoy the interaction of the different duos that are set up for anchoring at different hours. I just feel that they are more human than actors or robots reading a news prompter. I just moved and do not have cable TV so I am unable to pull Fox 61 on my antenna. At first I was very upset but then learned quickly that I can watch them on my phone with the app. So that’s what I do now every morning just watch them and listen to them on my phone app while I’m getting ready for work. Maybe if we get a new president and things doesn’t cost as much I will be able to afford cable TV in the future.

App crash. After the latest update the app crashes as soon as I load it. Tried everything with no luck.

Fox 61 CT News Ap. The Fox61 news ap is very easy to use. It is easy to search, easy navigate, easy to read. The look and feel is very user friendly. The only criticism I have is the folks who post the stories need to do a better job of proofreading to catch spelling and grammatical errors (double use of a word, missing a word).
