Had to move on. I think they should remove the news stories and just finish the app off with ads.

To many adds. This app is informative if you feel like watching watching adds anytime you click on something.

News West 9. I gave 4 stars only because the weather maps and the daily forecast are so small. If I could get them, especially the weather map, to go to landscape or enlarge them in some way it would be much better.

New app is no good!. I really like the old app where the weather was kept separate! It was much easier to use and navigate. Please bring back the old Stormtracker app!

Best News Station. I live in Safford AZ and have visited my Midland, TX Familia since 1997. When I first visited them I would watch the news and came to love NewsWest 9. I love them on FB and now this app, they are like family. Love the people and their reporting abilities, their humor and love for their community. NBC News. Very informative. Exceptional employees doing deligent news for our information that’s truthful! So long as they don’t wonder off to much to the FAR right!

Worst app. Bring back the old one! The weather radar on this is so bad and can’t even switch from portrait to landscape! Did you not even beta test this thing before signing off on it?!

NewsWest9 covers it all!. NewsWest9 is the best news to watch in the Permian Basin. They cover all the stories here in West Texas. We enjoy watching Tatum Guinn as she has becomes one of the best news anchors from our area. Tatum grew up here and went to school with our kids. She reports on what’s important, the truth of both sides, and good news to brighten our day. We need to stay informed of the things happening around us locally & nationally. NewsWest9 covers it all.

No Landscape View?. I hate apps that don’t let me switch from portrait to landscape view on my iPad. This is one that apparently works only in portrait view. I’m not likely to spend much time on it due to that.

Safety. I love this. I’m elderly and live alone. The bad things happen so often. I like being advised when something is happening near me. I can be ready if need be. I’m not scared. I have a son ready to protect me and also a very good family that the man of the house was a Marine and an excellent gun person. He would be here instantly. I also have a gun ready. But I’m glad to know what’s going on. That’s again and y’all be safe.

Too busy. Thought I would get this app on my iPad and now am rethinking. Might just delete it. For the local weather (which is what I mainly use) is too busy. For any video, there was always a commercial first. I wouldn’t call that user friendly. I would have to scroll thru ads and many other items to get to My Weather. I’m not always on the recliner with my feet up with lots of time. Sometimes knowing what the weather is doing is urgent in West Texas. Not really happy with this for the weather. Maybe you could fix the software to be able to choose what the app opens in so I can view weather instantly and then move on to other things.

Notifications. Your app sends out far two many notifications daily. If this does not change I will be deleting the app. Also the new version of the weather app is not as good as the old app.

What happened to it??. Worked great at first, radar worked and seemed pretty accurate and got life saving alerts, now it’s so slow and I’m not getting warnings alerts or notifications.

Emergency notifications. Depend on Channel 9 to keep us informed and entertained.

Generally good reporting. I appreciate the news that is reported without political bias. Facts and information and I think and form my own opinions.

Good local news. Honest Information is what I seek. It’s good to know what’s happening in the area! Thanks!

Fast and Furious. Love my news app . I’m always on the go and this keeps me in touch with what is going on in Odessa and the nation.

The old app is better.. Why have this one, it has no radar, I hate that, There’s nothing to do on it, forcept to look through 5 day forecast, and the news.

Horrible for weather now. Wow!! I get you wanted a newer app for the news, but for the weather portion to be this pitiful is just ridiculous!! I commute to work and there is nothing like getting an update to not even be able to look at the radar now. So crappy! It’s spring in Texas, get with it!

Dislike. I really dislike the new app. All I want to see is the weather and not all the news and other things. The previous App (Stormtracker) was perfect. I travel a lot and the previous app was great because I got alerts where I was and I didn’t have to go into the app to change location like I have to do now. The old app was easy to use, you just opened it up and got your weather. This new app takes steps to get what you want. Will most likely delete this app and get one of the national weather apps because they work like the old app. Bad move NewsWest 9!!

Good to have but liked the formatting better a few years ago!. I prefer the way it was a few years ago. But thank ful for the ability to check news an weather. It was much easier an enjoyable a few years ago. The formatting and the way the website was arranged. It was much simpler an functional. But same information.

Sound. When listening to the different programs, the sound has to be turned up until ads come on then I have to turn down the sound. I have compared you with channel seven and I don’t have the same problem. There is something wrong with your broadcast.

Celestial News. Enjoy the “celestial info”... info that I never learned or knew is happenjng in my lifetime. I will be 72 on the day after Halloween!

Better than others. At least this app covers more news. Only thing I don’t like about it is the repeat of stories 2-3 times.

Review. Newswest time always does it’s best to stay on top of everything that goes on in West Texas, especially in Midland/Odessa. It’s easy to send a text directly to the newsroom to report something that you may not know about. You all always text back, “thanks for letting us know “.

New App Radar Lousey. Already the “NEW” app download radar keeps crashing and is LOUSEY!! Please just bring back the News West 9 Storm Tracker app! Why did the great weather app turn into this? Update the “NEW” app because it’s horrible!

So confusing!. This is a jumbled up mess! Who thought this was a good format?? I think I found local news once. I’m not using anymore! And I have had the app since you first got an app.

Anchors. The anchors seem to like their job.That makes watching newscasts enjoyable.

U don’t no news!!. They report on things that are not even news!! Like reporting about someone who was buying drugs dying during a drug deal, who cares!!! Give us something that impacts our community and the world!!!!

So confusing. This new app is very confusing with the weather and isn’t accurate like the old app. I don’t like that the regular news is attached with it either. I deleted mine.

Terrible!. I’m very disappointed in this app. I loved the old News West 9 Storm Tracker app. It was my go to weather app. This new thing is a joke.

Viewer. The weather on the new app is unimpressive and is a downgrade from the old weather app. This new one is not updated and will not warn for any severe weather like the old app did. Disappointed.
