No Landscape Mode?. It is easier to hold my tablet in Landscape. I’ll look for my news elsewhere until this app is updated. New app also crashed which didn’t happen with the old. Hope you can fix your new app to make it work as well as the old app.

Don’t like the update. It’s been a while since this was reformatted, but I felt the old was better than the new. The notifications don’t always open, either.

Stay in touch. It is a great way for me to stay in touch with Louisville, my daughter, and sports

The most honest news on tv. The best all around!

Weather- Rain Percentage. The overall rain percentage probability displayed for each day is misleading! The hour by hour rain percentage chance is convenient, but it doesn’t seem to correspond with the “whole day” rain chances. I have had to look at other weather apps to plan my week!

New app not wonderful!. Looks pretty, but very slow and jerky. Long delays between what I select and what appeared. The app crashed twice. Tiny, white back arrow in top left corner hard to see. Not something I will use regularly, and if it doesn’t get better I will likely delete it. Bring back the last version.

Where is The Rant?. TV commercials show The Rant on this app, but I have never been able to find it on the app. Often, after I open the app and click on a headline, the article closes right away and goes back to the app.

Complete junk. I’ve had this app for a few years, the version before this was useful and more Insightful. Now they post like 3 or 4 news stories every so often and that they just Regurgitate the same old news over and over again. Nothing useful is on here anymore. Things that are breaking news on other stations don’t even show on here. People need to know if something is going on downtown or wherever. Im deleting this app and moving on!!!!!

Looks like an explosion in the newsroom!. This used to be my go-to app for local news, but each redesign has made it worse, with the latest version looking like an explosion in the newsroom! Seriously folks, this is a graphic design disaster. Please pick a single, simple, consistent look and stick with it. The earlier versions were much better. If I don’t see significant improvement soon, I’ll be deleting this app from my phone.

Crooked Biden family. WHAS is one sided when it comes down to the news of Hunter Biden’s dealings with China and the other communist payoffs with no reports just like the other Democratic news outlets,I quit watching You and WLKY,WAVE and WDRB months ago!

Local News. Great for checking on my local area news!

I hate the video ads. I go to an article and think I have to watch an ad to see the news video I interested in but the video ads never end so I give up and just read the print version

Thanks! On line NEWS ROCKS!. I really appreciate get the News Alerts & being able to watch BREAKING NEWS as soon as it’s available. I’m out & about most of the day and can’t always sit down to watch regularly scheduled News daily, so when something BIG happens, I ❤️ being able 2 quickly log on 2 C “what’s up”! WLKY ROCKS 👍🏽😋

They dropped the ball.. They apparently failed to take into consideration there are people out there who prefer landscape mode over portrait. I immediately deleted this app off of my device because of this and will not use it again until the feature is added back in.

Why twice?. I general avoid this app. When I attempt to watch a news clip full screen, I am forced to watch the same full ad a second time. There is no avoiding it. Being partially blind necesitares watching in full screen. It feels intentional. There are other news outlets I can use that do not waste my time.

Great access to local news.. I enjoy getting updates on news in the city.

Live streaming news is disappointing. To open live stream takes several attempts. Each time it starts, it’s dark in the top half of the screen, starts over after a few seconds, starts over if you try to expand to landscape, etc. Its use is hit or miss.

Weather doesn’t have sunrise and sunset times. I liked the layout of the previous version much better. Sometimes things are fine the way they were

Love WHAS!!!. I am a 45 year old woman who watches WHAS11 for all of my news. Now with the App I can take WHAS11 with me & keep myself appraised of what’s going on in the world in real time! I grew up watching WHAS & know I can count on their unbiased truth! I’ve been watching since the age of five & feel as if I know my newscasters because they’re in my home everyday!

Best Weather App Yet. The WHAS 11 weather app is by far-the best one I’ve ever used. Believe me...I’ve tried them all: WAVE 3, Channel 32, Google, and Weather Channel, just to name a few. This one is more accurate, with larger, and more visual radar maps for several different parts of the state. I’ve deleted all my other ones, because this one covers everything. It s a great app to have. I love it!

Just typos. This site seems to fulfill the necessity of keeping current news brief but informative. Keep up the good work!

WHAS. I have always liked HAS as we have referred to the station. I feel they are honest and always try to keep the public up to date. I grew up in Louisville and they have always been my go to station. Plus I like the entire crew. Keep up the good work guys!

App locks up or crashes regularly. The new WHAS11 app is basically useless, as it repeatedly locks up and / or crashes when trying to read an article. Very frustrating to be reading an article and not be able to reach the end before it locks up and will not scroll. When this happens, the “back” arrow is also not functional. Even if you close and restart the app, it will lock up again and again.

Crap App!. Do not download this app! I repeat, do not download this app! It is unstable and confusing. It closes unexpectedly all the time. You are better off with WDRB or WAVE 3. Don’t waste your time with this one.

To much about Drag People. I have loved WHAS all of my life. But here lately it's all about the gay life. If you would really spend more time on city, families, drugs, children, low income, high income, what could we do to become a better city. It would be great. I am beginning to watch other stations because you WHAS seems to want to stick to the same thing. News means something New. I am glad I am able to voice my thoughts. I want to keep watching my main people but if I have to change. I sure will. Life is what is happening in our city. You don't talk enough about colleges, schools, hospitals and other things. Let's make News great again

Coverage you can count on !. I grew up watching channel 11 News ! They don’t waste any time getting the News out and weather reports! Channel 11 news staff is awesome!

User friendly and modern graphics. I love the new hour by hour forecast. Easy to find weather. You can favorite the topics you like and only get notified when those are updated.

Enjoy using the app. Informative.. Informative and helps me stay on top of the news and news updates. I enjoy using the app.

App freezes. I’ve used this app on two different iPhones (including the iPhone X) And have problems every time I use it. The app either closes unexpectedly or it freezes on my screen and I have to shut the app down and start over.

Settle with Direct…please. It would be even better if I could see it on TV again. It’s hard on my old eyes watching on my phone.

Lost Functionality. Functionality is lacking in new version compared to the older app. The tile feature that was previously used is far more user friendly. I also have difficulty previewing the article when pop up feature takes up a quarter of the screen with the grey icons at the bottom.

Way too many ads. I like to watch using my IPad in the morning while getting ready for work. It is so annoying that I’m forced to watch ads even in the middle of a news story I really want to see. Often I will open the app and can see the story they are reporting but then it cuts to an ad and I miss the entire story. Terrible!

Does not change from portrait to landscape position with IPad. All Apps developed now understand the importance of being able to shift based on how iPad is positioned—-except this one. It’s 2019 and I find it hard to understand why this simple feature would not be there. Deleting now.

App was good up until recently.. I have already updated the app.Now,whenever I try and watch the live news stream it will cut off after about two minutes and I have to restart it for it to work again until it cuts off again.

Like ads? I don’t!. More ads than any kind of news. I don’t want to watch 5 ads before I can even see the story....
