Confusing interface. The dial to select grams to brew says 270 grams is typically one serving. And yet the dial won’t go lower than 320 grams. What if I want smaller than 270g of yield?

Great Little App. This is a great brewing app that has nice features such as selecting a grinder, and recommendations on grind setting for that grinder, as well as the ability to enter an changes to the temp and grind size. It is also very simple to use and has a very easy interface. Great app for such a cheap price! The only recommendedations I have that would completely transform the app is that it would be nice to be able to input the type of coffee brewed as well has have a list of the typical flavor notes from the coffee tasting wheel you could check after your brew. Also, it would be nice to have a coffee log where you could enter the different types of coffee you have in circulation with origin, roast date, suggested flavors, etc (especially for home roasters) that you could track and search. This is quite a big change but would really be awesome.

works great. love this app, helps me keep track of the beans i use and how well each brew turns out. Only complaint is that there is no way to filter through your notes. would be nice to have a section where i can write in a brand and type of beans, so i can filter through how i made things. would also be nice to be able to select / move / order notes, and have an easier way to delete notes. Also, just a note, i notice that sometimes at the end of the chemex specifically, that when the video ends there’s a bright green flash before it replays the video. That all being said, I really like this app! All of these are minor complaints.

Very useful. Love using this each morning. One note... In the video of the pour for a chemex, there is a tiny little man sneaking around next to the mug! Thought it was funny.

Great app / One Request. I really like this app. Helps guide my technique for the French press. Plus - has settings for my new grinder which is helpful! One ask - add a setting to choose how dark you want to make the brew. I did the 3 cup French press, with the amount of grounds specified, and it came out very light. I think choosing between light/medium/strong would be awesome :) Thanks for the app!!

No aeropress upward. expected to have both upward and inverted method for aeropress , but there is no!

Perfectly simple and simply perfect. I’ve use a lot of coffee apps over the years. Some are as simple as egg timer and and many others are too complicated. Single Origin is just right.

AeroPress Ratios Are Wrong. It’s physically impossible to put 312 g of water in an AeroPress (as stated for a 11 oz. press). And no, I’m not using an AeroPress Go.

Make adding your own recipe an option. I really like this app and the layout. My only Complaint is that you can only use their preset recipes. MAKE ADDING YOUR OWN RECIPE an option. That would make it perfect as I prefer to do my pour overs with my V60 with a different technique as described by James Hoffmann (look it up on YouTube)

Not happy, unable to customize. Be sure your brew method is listed. Also be sure your grinder is listed. Neither of these can be added to. This seems like a HUGE oversight. The limited list of grinders (6 total, and one is a $3000 commercial unit) is not even shown prior to purchase Waste of money.

Eh.... It appears as if they removed the cold brew pour over from the list which is a bit annoying. Hope they add it back. It makes a a good cup but it’s not much different from the free version except it adds in a lot of different brewing methods. EDITED: thanks for the response! I found the iced method inside the brewing options! Makes a great cup of coffee. It’s worth the buck or so for the upgrade.

Very helpful. Great app and very informative. It has definitely helped me with making down my timing better. I love that it allows you to adjust the recipe and ratio too. I'm so used to making my own coffee that it throws me off when I have to add an additional cup allotment for a guest. Now I just plug it in and brew on my merry way. Love the notes section for referencing what type of coffee and tasting notes. This will become a daily use app for me.

Perfect brewed coffee. I just thought to myself I am having a self care afternoon so I might try to brew a French press coffee to perfection. I never really thought to take the time to look through the app and try it. OMG for an app this is an essential for any coffee lover. Talk about the perfect cup with no harsh aftertaste and so deliver and smoother than French press coffee I have had before. I never take the the time to actually write a review for an app but this is so worth downloading for anyone who loves coffee. Must me and my coffee, for a bit of chill time between studying.

Can’t adjust coffee weight. Sounded like it should be a better app because it is the 2nd version, but there are far too few customisable variable options to be able to reall fine tune coffee how you want. Cannot record grind variety either. The timer on French press moves stragely. Makes you kinda panic to get it right. Better off just using kitchen timer an note book
