Good lightness detector. It’s a nice lightning detector and does what it should by showing the duration of lightning over a 6 hour period. However I would of given it 5 stars if it had area notification push alerts when lightning is within a certain radius of a individuals area.

Took maneuvering to understand. It took some toggling to see what immediate strike and what things look like as time passed. This site is helpful. Better than dime other sites I have tried.

Nice app. The app performs well and exactly as claimed. I’ve lived in North Texas most of my life, and lightning is a problem here, especially in the spring. I’ve been too close for comfort many times with ground strikes and see stories every year of local people killed by lightning. The strikes on the map are shown close to real-time and seem accurate based on visuals and counting the seconds after hearing thunder.

Stopped working. Does not show any lightning tracking anymore. Deleted and downloaded again and still doesn’t work.

Review. I enjoy seeing where the lighting is hitting because I worked wild land fires for a long time.

Doesn’t Work. Lacks any real settings buttons. Downloaded it today, thunder and lighting currently in area with multiple alerts from other apps going off but this one says “no lightning”. I want either fixed or return my money!

Great App. We live in forest fire country and this app is extremely helpful durning fire season to be able to watch for possible fire starts.

Works great.. Very happy with it. Helps to identify coming situations and take steps to relax pets etc.

Not reliable. I work at an airport.I’m currently middle of a storm with lightning all around me. I opened up the app to see how far away the lightning strikes are so I know whether or not to shut down operations and the app shows that there are no lightning strikes anywhere around me.

Excellent. I appreciate the app. I would like an alarm to sound when lightening is closer than 25 miles away.

Accurate and Timely. This app allows me to fore warn golfers to seek shelter as I work as a Marshall.

No distance? Am I missing something?. It’s really cool, though the important metric for basically every single outdoor sport is, no lightning within the last 30 minutes. This only shows different colored dots for up to 10 minutes old. It would be much better if it would show a different color for strikes up to 30 minutes old. Secondly, without any distance on the map, there’s no way to know how close the lightning is to you. 10 miles is the magic number. Please put some kind of distance marker on the map - or I’m missing the setting to add it.

Important app. Let’s you know where severe weather is so you can seek proper shelter ahead of danger.

Great app to keep everyone safer!. I downloaded this for when we are outside swimming or at ballgames and it is incredible! I can literally hear the thunder, look down at the map & the locations show up 2 seconds later! A++

Lightning strike counter. This app is asking me to rate the lightning strike counter, so with that said how can you know how accurate it really is? All I know is it seems to be pretty accurate & allows you enough time to shelter in place.

Hacker Lightening. Wow... the hackers really have raised 616 for some electricity.... maybe their guys will be smushed in the electrical box if they don’t get in control of their egos....

Good Start. As an athletic trainer and my responsibility to keep safety of athletes in mind I’m constantly looking for new apps that are better and more consistent with exact distance. I think this could be pretty good for what I need. Needs some more options and maybe where everything is at but I like how It shows where exactly and different colors for time away but wish It had exact time. Because for me I need any lightening within ten miles activity is held for 30 minutes if this could do that, could be huge for my line of work for athletic trainers and coaches!!

Doesn’t work. On numerous occasions I see lighting strike, look at the app, and nothing. I mistakenly purchased the no advertising upgrade before using the app very much. Therefore I have a worthless app and wasted $2.99.

Good. Provides valuable information

Just what I was looking for!. I work outside everyday sometimes deep in the woods and it’s great to see what’s coming and how long we have to get out to our trucks. It doesn’t only show you lightning strikes for your area it gives you a broad area depending on how far you zoom out so you can judge approximately how much time you have. I’ve been using this for a couple years now and still feel confident in making decisions for me and my crew while at work.

Lightning a la cart. Great app. Gives up to the minute visual accounts of the weather/lightning strikes. Fun to watch when bored. Important to watch if it’s headed YOUR way.

Lightning tracker. First time using it with storms in almost all-quadrants; spot markings seem to agree with visual reference as strikes were mostly well defined bolts so that reference on the app screen could be easily confirmed. I need to work more with the app. Advertisements were not too intrusive and relatively easy to look at.

Interesting. It is interesting to see where the activity is as I sit on my porch

Too many ads. Too many ads that sometimes cause it to fail opening

from useful to useless. The most intrusive advertisements anywhere. Destroying what had been a positive user experience.

Unreliable. I’m watching lightning strikes from my window and nothing is showing up on the app. It reads “no lightning” above the timeline tracker at the bottom of the screen.

No history data. Can’t enter a date and see the strikes for that day.

No lightning detected. It was working great with the free version but once I removed adds no lightning is detected.

Lightning tracker failure. The lightning tracker application does not work any longer as of September 2022. No response from the developer for at least a week now. Do not purchase!

The free app 👎🏽. This free app has an add right in the middle of the page. It gets in the way of the map. You can’t seem to get rid of it! Good luck to those who depend on it!
