Clear, strong, reliable. I checked out four voice recording apps and deleted them because they were too hard to use or had problems. But this app is great and I’ve been using it for a year. Buy the pro version! It’s worth every penny not to see those ads!

Confusing. I tried this app, the Pro version. The help is confusing. I need to edit my files and not sure what the process is. For example, you select a piece to trim but you clic on the Trim button and nothing happens. It took me a while to figure out that you have to select and then save the file to actually trim. I expected to select a piece to be trimmed, clic on the Trim button and then the piece is trimmed. And do it as many times as needed. And then, save the result.

Great voice app. A great voice app which does all that is required, without over the top additional things that most people will never use. Unfortunately, the pro version is required to get rid of the annoying ads. Still worth it as a very good voice recorder. Miles better than the iPhone Voice Memos app.

Enjoy. I have pro version and enjoy being able to tape my doctors as spouse is unable to go in with the virus. I will say that I originally brought it to record mobile phone conversations but not disappointed in the app. Hopefully one day it might be able to do that. Thank you for a very easy recording.

Best Recording App (I could find). I have been trying out different recording apps to find one that would pause and restart without loosing the recording. This seems to be working well and it’s easy to use. Some irritating things were, if you start out with the free version and switch to the paid version, it doesn’t save the recordings from the free app to the new app. Also, the pro app removes ads, but continues to pop up a rating dialog EVERY TIME YOU OPEN IT! I could understand a pop up every 10th time or once a month maybe, but every time? (I’m hoping by writing this review they will leave me alone). Overall it is still best recording app for my purposes.

Great recordings. Works great, exactly what I was looking for to record. My only complaint is you cannot listen to recordings over head phones, AirPods or any other listening device you can connect to your phone. It only plays over phone speaker, which is SUPER ANNOYING! Please make a change to the app to hear recordings on other devices.

Hugely useful. I am going through many medical treatments and this app is invaluable for recording discussions with my physicians. I could never remember all the details or take notes that fast. This allows me to pay attention, yet still capture all the information.

I have been in need of a good one. This recording app has been very good to me. I’ve only had it for about two weeks but I really like it. I am over 60 and still haven’t figured out all the little mechanisms available to me. But I’m enjoying what I know!

The only recorder you need is right here. And it’s been hear a while. This a great app. You press 1 button to record and 1 to stop. Great quality for demos of any kind. File yourself properly and keep your best songs ready to pay them out any time you want.

Tight, Simple and Effective. It’s not a whole gig of bloatware, or a boatload of complicated extensions. It’s a simple easy to use program that allows you to record and edit voice files. There is no large learning curve, just record, edit, save and export. It’s what we need in a voice recorder.

Easy and dependable. I enjoy using this recorder for recording my ideas. It’s simple and lets me easily name files. Sorts all by date (or name). No problems with the paid version. With the free version, the ads were buggy and annoying. Worth paying for. I don’t know how it compares to other recorders, but it’s working for me. Love it’s simplicity.

Great App. I am a teacher. Through this pandemic I have had to find new ways to reach my fifth graders. When we had to do virtual learning, I was able to record myself reading small portions of books and share them with students. This app made it easy for me to figure out.

Great recorder. I used the free version forever with absolutely no flaws so when I switched to a new phone I purchased the pro version. Honestly I haven’t experimented with the pro version to see what all it offers above the free version I basically just upgraded to help the developer what little it was. The price is low so I’m sure it’s not a big help. In my honest opinion you can’t beat this recorder. Thanks to the developer.

Want to like more, but…. I tried the free version and liked it enough, I bought the pro to remove the ads. The pro works as well as the free version, but I have a couple of problems I wish would be fixed. - There is no “second chance” to retrieve files. Once deleted, there is no trash bin to fish them out of, if you made a mistake. I have lost a recording that was very important to me, because of this. - There’s no option to continue recording uninterrupted. So, if my alarm goes off or I get an incoming phone call, the recording stops. I have to stich recordings together fix this.

Pretty Quick. For putting foreign words into my Apple Notes script, definition and audio, it all comes down to how fast I can do the audio (from second device), find it, change name, copy and paste. So far, I am pleased with this app.

Just what the Doctor ordered. What a great app you go to the doctor you turn on your recorder and it highlights everything he says you don’t miss anything it is just wonderful come home show your spouse exactly what you were told. Love it, no more I think he said

Feedback. I liked the free version but found the ads very annoying. I am using your app for work and do NOT have time to mess around. I just switched to the paid version and have no comments yet. So far, your app has been the most reliable one

I use it for recording quick reminders or ideas. This is a great app... I have the pro version and I use it every single day, several times... record quick notes on the go, when you can't type... then when at home or sitting down, transcribe them to your productivity system, notes or to-do list

Still working thru the app. So far it’s doing alright. Had reload it a few times because it kept cutting my recording off at 10 seconds and I purchased the Pro version. Trying to see any other features that are available. So far it’s just basic things.

Really a fantastic recording app!. For years this has been my GO TO APP for recording solo and duets performances with my fellow musicians. It is very easy to use, edit and share recordings from my iPad/iPhone, and the sound quality is very good. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent recording quality. I’ve used this for business for several years. Recording with this app is easy shoot and go for a non tech like myself. It would be 100% what I need if I could easily share the recording or allow my kids to log in to listen, but I haven’t found a good way to share. It may be because I’m tech challenged 🤷‍♀️

Best in class!. To put it succinctly, best in class of its app type. Honest company. I was going to just stay with the “beg screen” version, but heck for this price, let’s support this developer! They are not trying to “get rich” just trying to make a living doing something they enjoy! ✌🏻

Very great recorder! Way better controls…. Way better than another another app I tried to use for about a year that was not well designed as far as the dashboard and editing features. This one is very intuitive and I’m looking forward to finding out everything it does.

Exceptional and easy, clear output...one major problem. The only thing I dislike is the method to end the recording. I accidentally deleted a very important recording due to the structure of the end of recording dialogue box. If the options for “ok” was green and “cancel” was red, it would make it much easier not make to make that type of mistake. Reconfigure the method to end and save the recording to be significantly different from the way in which it is canceled. Only thing I dislike - otherwise I’d give it 5 stars.

Ok but Not Great. It works as advertised. But creating an ‘Record Now’ shortcut in iPhone and applying as a ‘Widget’ on Home Screen works as long as you don’t push the iPhone side button to hide the screen. It stop recording if you push the side button. App does not show in family sharing

Taping. I’ve used this seeing doctors to find out what is wrong with my mother who is 89! Some doctors don’t like it but there is nothing the can do about it. I’ve also used it to record my mother and all her life stories! Thank you for such a great recorder! So worth the money!

Love the voice made from this app / way clear and natural compared to voice memos. I appreciate the fact that this voice recorder make me feel like I love the sound of my voice. I thought it was so awkward when I recorded it with voice memos. Love this product, and appreciate the programmer who put efforts to create this useful application. I recommend you guys downloading it to record voice for short clips and video. It works wonder/ you can easily share the voice with most of other video editing app. Also, you can turn record on the switch to the other app to read your script ! It still works ! Wonderful

Simple and intuitive recording app. I tried a few recording apps, and settled on this one because of the simple and intuitive interface, with options to export recordings. It’s a great tool to have and is well worth the price for the pro version.

Rate Me Notification. I bought the app because of the unbelievably amount of ads associated with the free version. I wanted an ad free version because I literally use this app everyday to memorize scripture and make audio books for my personal study. It is perfect for that purpose. However this paid version has literally stopped my audio recording as I was listening to the audio and cooking dinner in order to ask me to rate it. I hope that after this point of rating the app, it will stop asking. If not, I will start rating it with less stars in the future. The paid version asks for a rating every time I open the app and even when I don’t.

App is sufficient but.... When trying to use the app, a pop-up to rate the app kept interrupting our usage. This was for our 6 year old to simply press a button during a presentation to play her recorded speech. If we want to review the app we will do so in our own time after we’ve had some time with it, not 1 minute after buying.

Mostly great. One HUGE fix is needed though.... I am happy to write the feedback, because the time was taken to create the app, and I truly hope the feedback is read by the app owner. Having the ability to pause a recording and continue later is huge. Sms this pause is needed in multiple forms (if the phone rings, if an alarm goes off or just if I want/need to pause). I have no idea how to stitch recordings together, and while I'm sue I could learn, it would be so much easier to keep everything I need on a recording in one audio file without having to do the extra work. Other than that, I'm thrilled that there's a pro version because I was just about ready to stop using the free version due to all of the ads, especially the ones where the X to close out the ad is under the battery icon and tapping it repeatedly did nothing, leaving the only option as closing and restarting the app.

Great app but glitches and cuts out words. I use the paid version. The audio quality is awesome. Super easy to use. I want to give this a 5 but I noticed in a 30 minute recording it glitches several times and clipped out several words from my recording which were important for understanding the concept. It’s almost a deal breaker but I am going to stick around for a while longer in hopes this gets fixed. Can you fix this? Thank you!!

Saving recording. Your request popped up at a very bad time so I have been trying to find a file I recorded for a half an hour or so far and I can’t find it anywhere. I also can’t find a place in your app where I could tell the recording exactly which folder, I created myself. otherwise, you have a five star rating for everything else. I am also a pro user so I should be able to do that.

Great Recorder but……. It does not work on my iPads Bluetooth. Although my headphones hook up to my iPad and I can hear everything else over the headset, when I play a recording back, it just plays over the speaker and not the headset. I like this recorder a lot but one thing I wish it had was the START time of the recording. When you finish recording, it assigns a name to the file which is the date and time the recording finished. You can change the name but if you want to change it to the start time, that option is not automatically available. I do like that you have recording options that you can customize to your liking. You can also edit the recorded file. I give this four stars only because of the non-ability to have it auto save the file name with the start date and time.

Not too Bad….. The only problem is that you have to be sure to set it for .wav file setting or no one can play the file…..and there isn’t a converter to move a file from one type to the other if you forget to change/check it before you start. :/. If there was a way I’d give it 5 stars. But I’ve used this app for a long while and it’s easy to use and produces high quality sound.

To be honest. This recorder functions quite well. Although i have only used the app three or four times, it has given me excellent response. My personal needs are simple for its usage but, with that in mind, it worked about as well as anyone could expect: simple and straightforward, period!

It bad at all!. My use is for recording voice for radio shows. The long and short of it is this. After over 100 shows recorded since the Covid pandemic my best results come from close range recording of about 3 or 4 inches distance to the microphone on my iPhone for optimum quality paired with compression and EQ in Ferrite editor. All functions in the Voice Recorder Oro are adequate BUT there is one small fix I would do on this app. If you are recording and want to listen as you record then you are out of luck or at least I cannot. While recording you cannot hear yourself. If you record and pop your p’s or if you rustle paper or accidentally make any unwanted noise, you won’t know about it until you listen to your playback. All professional recordings of voice always include the use of headphones while you record so that you hear what you are doing. This is Radio 101 and something I teach students that I mentor. Without that function of listening while recording you are lost. This is a must fix on this app in my opinion. Since I like the app and the cost of the “Pro” option is minimal I’ve learned to be extra careful but sometimes I hear when I make lingual noises and I have to edit them out to get a professional end result. If you record any long format voice overs I would look elsewhere.

Silent button for Start, Pause, Stop. Perfect.. High marks in all categories. But the feature I liked most, and why I chose it over the others, is that it makes no sound or ding or chime when you start, pause or stop. That silence is a most necessary feature for most recording situations. I paid for the app to show my appreciation.

Awesome best app for recording!!. Love this tool ! Easy to use and very intuitive. I use the recording app for a variety of reasons. Reminders and with approval I’ll record myself speaking- listening to your voice is the first step in becoming a good communicator.

Files don’t migrate. I upgraded to this pro version from the basic version in order to get rid of all the pop up ads which were super super annoying. But now both versions are on my phone and the files that I recorded with the basic version are not showing up in the pro version. So now what do I do? The phone number that’s given for app support just goes to a generic recording saying the person you’re trying to reach is unavailable. I’d sure like some help :-)

Great app. I’m having some problems with volume of recording and cannot figure out how to turn it back up to the original volume, however I’m not good with tech so it may be just me. So far it’s working and doing its purpose great. Would love further instructions on how to use the app.

Great app and easy to use.. I really like this app. It has the real easy button right in the middle to make it easy if you have to start recording something right on the fly. The PRO is great too, no ads and just an honest company trying to make their app better and better — although it is great now. Totally worth the app download and ease of use alone is worth its wait in gold. Remember — time IS money!

Voice recorder decent… could be better. When moving from the free version to the pro version, there is no way to bring over the old recordings from the free version into the pro version. Also, the review me nag screen on the pro version is ridiculous. If I say I don’t want to leave a review, I don’t expect to see the nag screen the very next time I launch the program. I bought the thing so I wouldn’t have to deal with ads and nag screens, yet the nag screens persist. Functionality wise, the program does what it says and is easy to use. I’m just disappointed with the nag screen and the inability to bring my files from the previous version into the new one.

Files. I was hoping that when I upgraded the app I would be able to share my files to be able to save them when upgrading my phone. I upgraded and what I got was a new app not associated with the files on the app I upgraded from. Help. Brenda Burghardt

Voice recorder. A useful app for a quick voice recordings. Microphone sensitivity is good. This is helpful for choir singing practice. Needs to be able to playback through Bluetooth connections. The trim and edit functions are difficult to understand and probably not workable from a small iPhone screen.

Excellent App!. Many features I had wished to see in Native iOS’s Voice app are included harmoniously. I especially like the pause and continue recording, as well the file name structure. The only suggestion might be if there are any additional security built in features assuring more privacy encryption features, it would be super!

Very basic features and irritating rate-me pop up during recording. I paid for this app (when I could use the free version of it anytime) but instead of getting advertisements, you get an irritating pop-up message every now and then to rate this app even when you are actively recording something. Premium has no new feature from I think two years ago or from the free version. Basic recording works fine but that works fine in thousands of other (free) apps.

I LOVE THIS APP!. I had this same app on my previous phone & just added to my new phone. I’ve started recording any important conversations with doctors or any meetings so that I make sure I remember parts of the conversation. One of the features I like about this app is that it doesn’t stop recording if you receive a phone call. In my opinion, this app is well worth the money.

Still a pop up after buying!. The worst feature of buying this app is its continued insistence that you rate it. “I am a programmer working very hard to give you the best free application. Your reviews are worth more than all the money. Please write reviews in the App Store to encourage and help me improve the quality of application better in next version.” This is a frequent and unnecessary pop up that happens, again, after buying the app, with no option to turn it off. I am hoping it goes away when I do this rating, but I am rating the app in accordance with the nuisance that seeing this notification every time you use it is.

Pro Version Support. I’d love to come back and give a 5 star rating, but…I purchased the Pro version a few months back and LOVED it! It was great for going back and shoring up lecture & meeting notes. BUT it stopped working a few days ago. I made sure my iOS was updated. Now I can’t open the app. It stalls and then completely closes. I also can’t get support as when I click on the support link in the App Store, Safari tries to connect but errors out. Anybody else having this issue? I don’t want to lose my lectures.

Incomplete user interface. It’s a toy!. user manual. The icons mean nothing. Can’t figure out basic functions: like Export, stop/start/pause. Only way I can stop it is by crashing the program!! ( AND, I upgraded to the Pro version!)

Not good. For Apple phones don’t do it. I bought this to use on an external microphone. Made volum worst than before. Waste of 5 dollars. You cannot adjust microphone well at all. Just a gain switch that makes it noise’r when u turn or change it from 10

Just purchased. Haven’t had this long enough to give pros and cons, but so far seems user friendly and can record at length. Volume could be improved upon.

Recording visuals. It would be nice if you could see a running visual display as you edit the recording that way you can find a section quickly. Also after editing out a section it would be nice not to have to save the recording before moving on to the next edit

Clean design, easy use. Voice Recorder is just what I needed for saving ideas Id have at odd hours for a book I’m working on. It’s not complex and I’m allowed to name the files and even set recording quality.

Cancel and ok button should be reversed. Not intuitive buttons and I keep erasing what I record accidentally. I also can’t find my old recordings since I switched to pro. Recording works fine though and is good quality

Purchased paid app. I purchased the paid app, after using the free app for over a year. I can’t figure out if there is a way to transfer the many audio files I have in the free app to the paid app.

I have listened to part of recording. I believe this app will be very helpful in helping me remember what I heard at a conference. Some of the speakers were going faster than I could write. So I’m using this to retrieve the parts I missed!

Nice App. Enjoyed recording and listening to playback and quality was pretty good. Just one problem: I needed to listen to playback over a Bluetooth speaker but the only way the recording would play on that speaker was if I connected my iPhone with a 3.5mm cable. So in that regard, it did not meet my expectations. Thanks

Recorder interrupted by call. I like the app but have a question... app was interrupted by a call and the file is nowhere to be found.. where can i find the file? The remaining memory indicates that the file must be saved somewhere

It works well. I like the app and it’s working well. It’s simple and easy to use. Would be nice to have a way to play the audio a little faster. Also, would be great to have a 15 second rewind button.

Gets the job done.. Very good app. I wish it had a 10 second rewind and fast forward option but it does not so it only gets a 4 star from me. But I love the big red record button and the recorder quality is legit. Loud and clear.

Good but could be better. Works as advertised but could use some improvements: Increase gain on the microphone. Allow the microphone sound levels to be displayed without actually recording anything. Ability to record internally (no microphone), recording what’s be played on the speakers.

Works awesome for my podcast. I really love the voice quality and all the editing options I think it is a great choice

Fast and easy. Sometimes I need to make quick recording of something that only lasts a moment and this app is easy to use and with the big red “on” button I don’t miss the recording.

Earbuds. I love the app and use it weekly. My only complaint is that it is the only app I have that will not play through my earbuds. I even upgraded to the paid subscription and still no sound. Through the phone is fine.

Not so happy ...john. Where’s my pre-Pro audio files from before I purchase Pro? Not happy. Pro should have updated pre-Pro so I didn’t loose all of my recordings. If this is an operator malfunction, please send instructions on how to port the confidential files to Pro without using email or the internet. If you can help me do this, I will write a glowing review.

Great little recorder app!. I’ve used this app to record audio for books for my students - switching off from read aloud to audio. It’s great and easy to use!

I love it!. This recorder is the best one I’ve found that will record even when you go to different apps. Really like it! I really like it I can record for a long time.

The pro version. The Pro version is nice for meetings the only bad is the reoccurring screen for a review after you decline so here I am hoping that goes away. Still a great app if you are a minute taker

Recording practice / guitar ect. Its number one in the hood G! Lol Wish ther was a cloud storage or something. Ive / have not much storage left since recording practice 3 times a week past 2 years. Love it! Easy! Is ther away to put my 2 years of progress not on phone an not eat up memory here. Thanks for awesome app!

Great app!!. It really is a great app and very easy to use. We should have less complicated apps like this. For future development, please also add the transcript feature so the app can type out the words in a text pad. Great work!

Bought pro version to avoid ads - can’t access old recordings. The application is solid, so solid I bought the ad free version. But now I don’t see how to access the recordings I made prior to upgrading with the upgraded version…. Frustrating!

Great app, easy to use and good quality recording. I just needed something to record a few classes and this app works perfectly. It’s pretty good at catching the speaker and not as much of the background noise too, which is great!

Perfect!. I use this to record my rehearsals and it works great. I like that there is a pause button to pause recordings when necessary.

Great App but need work. The only thing I have to say about the app is they don’t allow you to hear it to your Bluetooth device so I went and I bought it and I’m a pro member with the app and it’s still the same thing I can’t hear it through my Bluetooth devices and I hope they fix this problem

Voice recorder. This voice recorder is just what I need to study for my exams. It’s great that you can name your files and play back whenever it’s convenient for you. I highly recommend.

Great app with minor issues. There are 2 reasons I gave only 4 stars: because the app lost ability to save files to my google drive— now I get the msg: failed to upload. Also, there are times I press record and find out later it mysteriously stopped—very disappointing and wastes time—but these instances are not often. Other than that, it really is fantastic. I’m hoping that upgrading to the paid version will help?? Thank you, hard-working programmers! This app has been a huge benefit even with the bugs... although, I will have to switch apps if I can’t save files...

Great app just works like it should. Very clean and easy to use. The interface gives the info in an intuitive way.

Good app. I really like recording with this app. I use it to record voice lessons. My only wish would be if I could upload or airdrop all my recordings to my computer at once instead of having to upload each individually.

Working well!. It’s working well! But when I bought the full version, it erased what I recorded before... maybe you can warn the buyers that upgrading/ buying the full version will erase What’s already recorded in free version??

Love it. I have been using the free version of this app for years and love it. I bought the pro version because this app deserves it. Simple to use. Only thing I have not figured out is how to move my recordings from the free to the pro version.

Excellent sound, few options. I’d like to be able to pause a recording instead of ending it. I’d also like more options for balance. But it does produce a clear sound, which is very important to me. Keep working at it!!
