I don’t recommend for anyone who does not want to pay money. I thought this app would be fun but it made me start a trial but one of the reviews said that you had an option to do it for free you would just have limits it nope there was no other choice soI don’t recommend this for anybody who doesn’t wanna pay money so I ended up deleting it.

Y’all Tripping. I never write reviews but this app did not work in the slightest. i tried to translate this thing from french to english and nada happened. I could have just not known how to but this app was a waste of time. Whether or not I misused the app i should not have to try this hard to translate it like just translate it bruv.

Would not recommend. This app has not been useful whatsoever. It doesn’t even scan the image properly 75%-90% of the time. It’s fast and more efficient to just type what you see and Google translate. Waste of money.

Lifesaver for someone working in multiple language environment. As a lawyer, I frequently work with people who are speaking of variety of languages, including Spanish, French and Swahili. This app has been a lifesaver for me!

Doesn’t work. I tried this app in Israel on multiple fonts and this app was unsuccessful in translating any of them.

🙏🏻. I've tried several similar apps and I can tell you AR Translator is the only one that actually works. It is extremely helpful when you need to translate the text from manuals in a foreign language.

Great page translation!. I am teaching myself the steirische harmonika (Austrian accordion) all of the good lesson books are in German. I can take a picture of the entire page and it translates it! This is so invaluable to me!

Would give it 0 if I could. The app doesn’t work, not only did it not translate or even recognize all the text on what I was scanning but it didn’t even translate what it could read to English. Not worth the download and definitely not worth a subscription.

Gave me numbers instead. Did not work at all, it was totally incoherent and it gave me stuff like “Xc56($)” instead of words. Wouldn’t recommend (at least not for Korean or Japanese)

Translations were wrong. Every time I tried to translate an image with this app it would come out as gibberish

Wow!. I had to have some complicated medical information translations.. this thing was amazing! WOW!!!!

Doesn’t work. Clicked the option for free 3 day trial but it instantly charged me, and it didn’t even work it just replaced the text with random numbers, I even tried it with english and it just changed some of the words to other random english words or symbols

A Godsend. This app is awesome and beyond .. I’m in Korea and had a bad headache .. was given medication but instructions and information was in Korean .. also the pharmacist spoke a little English but did not go into details .. I found this app which is a life saver it works great you just snap a picture and within seconds the item is translated to your language.. I can’t even described how good this app is just try it .

It’s ok. Sometimes it doesn’t make any sense and my fathers translator does. Other times it works well. It’s kind of annoy to have to constantly scroll between languages because I type in my language so someone else can ready their language but I take a picture of what I need translated to my language and you constantly have to swap the two. An AR translator is an invaluable tool though.

Very helpful. I’m traveling across multiple countries in Europe and this is incredibly helpful. If I have to read a signs then I can take a picture and use this app.

Messes up on asian writing. it messus up on translating asian language handwriting, otherwise its great. And it also messes up and most sentences dont make sense when translated.

Should everybody not pay for this or is it worth it. I don’t think it’s worth it because if nobody knows another language why should we pay for another language we could just learn how to speak or know what they’re saying so I rather not pay for this thank you though…

Overpriced/doesn’t work. This app doesn’t work for all languages, like Hebrew. Pricing is pretty outrageous considering it doesn’t work for all languages. You get a 3 day free trial.

Money taker. I got the free trial and it wasn’t for me so I cancelled my subscription on my iPhone settings, but it still ended up charging me $10 for the month and I’m tight on money right now. Would recommend to whoever cancels to delete their card or make sure they have no way of still taking money before deleting the app

Does not cover other alphabets. The app works great with “western” languages ( english , spanish, german , french , etc ) but either I don’t know how to set it or it doesn’t work on hebrew , arabic , etc

Terrible. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I tried using this on a pair of old Chinese exercise balls my grandma gave me . I scanned the directions and it showed me a bunch of numbers… absolutely useless. Would highly recommend, NOT GETTING THE APP

Didn’t translate. I hope I don’t get charged after the free trial as it didn’t do what I needed

Scam. After you pay, it won’t let you re open the app, not even ti unsubscribe. You have to go into settings and unsubscribe. It doesn’t even translate anything after you pay.

Great app. It’s a great app but I was on for one minute before my time ran out and I’m not paying $60 just so I don’t have to wait an hour before having another minute maybe change pro to some other features not a time limit!

Terrible. Doesn’t work at all. Nowhere in app to unsubscribe - at least easily. Been trying for the last 15 minutes to figure out but it seems deliberately difficult to do so.

Nice app. Without any doubt, the best of its kind. Just for being able to extract text from a video without having to take a screenshot makes it better than anything I tried before.

Cool. At some point you have probably been in the predicament of seeing a text in a foreign language (for example in the street when you're abroad) and not knowing what it actually means. Well, with this app you can translate it to your language in an easy and fast way.

Cool. This is the one of the best applications I ever found. It can perform OCR of almost any language and then translate it to the language you require. I didn't even know such a thing was possible. Amazing app.

Couldn’t translate :-(. I fired up the free version of the app and pointed it to an appliance made in China. The translation was just a series of random ASCII characters despite the output being set to English. Shame, I had had high hopes

Waste of time. You have to accept a subscription in order to get a “free” trial. Models like this count on the user getting confused, banking on them to misinterpret the cancellation policy. Also you should read what they say about the 3rd party biller..

Accurate. Using it in japan, the translation is accurate for now, love it. The only downside is the price, too high prices like this make it more affordable to go to a language school and take classes

Bad, dont get. When i tried to translate japan writing it gave me @&$?! And other random stuff, would not recommend

They lied. They say in their description and comments that they can translate German, however when I tried I got a lot of special characters such as $,@,&,#. The German wasn’t difficult to read and it was set to German/English

Do not get this for Hebrew or Arabic. Travelling through Israel and Jordan I got this to help me understand parking signs. Did not work at all, waste of money.

Apps like these charge too much and too short a trial. Installed app to try out, saw the weekly sub amount and short 3 day trial…..uninstalled immediately. Sorry, not long enough of a trial and not worth $6 a week

It works pretty good. It has only crashed once, but it was because I had taken a picture of a whole page. But after that it worked great. I also am not a huge fan of paying 5.99$ a week.
