Shift med does not try retain its staff. I work for them since June 2020. It is so difficult scheduling shifts. Now I can’t pick up any shift. I get a message to call their 1-800 number. I called in December a spoke to someone from the office and apparently by December 13th they were supposed do a background check on me again after two year. It almost a month a still I can’t pick up shifts. They are slow to respond when you call them. If you text them its useless .

Great company to work for. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first but as I’ve gotten into the app and given it a try it’s been a great experience. It seems like new features are being added on a regular basis to make it even nicer and easier to use. Even when I’ve had questions a simple phone call was all it took to answer my question.

This is a joke. This app is a joke. If you were thinking leaving your job to become and agency nurse stop. At least this app is a crap. It doesn’t matter if you get a same day shift or and a week in advance shift, you will be cancelled. So you can not be picking another shift in other app because you are thinking in this shift and just before it is cancel. They offer you higher pay rate, and is just for funny. Your shift will be cancelled for sure. Uninstalling this crap right now. Yes crap app.

Believe the negative reviews! Stay away!. If I could give no stars I will. I’ve never had a problem with any other agency as far as being paid. Every time I pick up a shift it’s something different with them. When I first started my pay for the day was 356 they “let me” take down half of the money I worked my behind off for and kept the other half and claimed it was taxes….never filled out tax forms. When I asked about this I was told they filled them out for me. Explain??? No one could. So I stopped using them for a couple of months. Unfortunately I had to go back for a few shifts because their locations are closer. Now I just did a shift and surprise they’re playing with my check again claiming that my bank account isn’t verified (which it is, it even shows up in the app ADL’s verified). BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY!

Been with them a year. I use several other agencies in addition to Shiftmed and feel qualified to give an accurate, unbiased review. The app is user-friendly and intuitive. It is easy to adjust the search parameters like location, pay $, dates, shifts. Clocking in and out is also simple although recently over the past week, I’ve had issue with clocking in, the button I tap to “clock in” does not seem to work. I really like the ‘next day pay’ feature, wherein you work a shift and can get paid 50% the next day. If you enjoy working for yourself and getting to choose when and where you work, this is the perfect agency for you. A suggestion for improvement: I will often notice that other staffing agencies are offering several dollars more per hour in wages than Shiftmed for work at the same facility. If Shiftmed could boost their pay by jusr $2-$3 dollars per hour, they would be more competitive with other agencies and people would be more likely work more shifts through them. At the same time, those other possibly higher-paying agencies are still requiring things like hand-filling out a time slip and faxing it at the end of each week. ShiftMed is more simple and does not have any kind of hassle like that. Also, the higher-paying agencies have higher cancellation rates, their lists of available shifts aren’t as up to date. Shiftmed has a very low cancellation rate and the shifts you select will almost always be up to date.

Robot Customer Service. They have the worst customer service team ever! When you need help or trying to find some understanding with the facilities the customer service only responds with what’s in there scripts. No one has a heart or compassion there. Just a bunch of cold robots calling the shots who act like there’s nothing they can do to help! I’m not disgruntle or anything and my review is very real! I’m on a six week contract of block booked shifts because that’s how good of a worker I am!

Pay isn’t accurate. I don’t know what it is but all I do know is pay is way way less then what it suppose to be when u get paid the app shows u getting paid one thing then once u get your pay it is so much lesser I do know taxes are being removed but not that much I believe the app is charging us to but is not letting that be known when we picking and working shifts it would be nice to know what y’all is taking out of our pay cause I only take jobs because of the pay but if I’m not gone get the full pay then let me know so I can know if I really want to take the job or not

Nice and Neat. Even before the update the app was very organized and easy to work. Now you’re able to click on your job title (cna. LPN, RN, etc) the only thing I’d like is to be able to click shift times (7-3, 3-11, 7-7 etc) I’m sure that’ll be coming soon. Now you still have to keep scrolling and scrolling but... still effective!

End of the high weekend rates. The app brags about having higher rates on the weekends when that is not the truth. Almost all these different platforms share the same daily rates as the weekends. I don’t get it. And it seems the only time they will put a higher rate is if they're in desperation, and even then, have I noticed, it’s still the same low weekly pay rate. Yea, it’s a “no” for me.

App Is better than most. The ShiftMed app is better than the other medical agency apps that I’ve used. It’s easy to navigate, and they are always updating it to make it more convenient for the user. Recently the biggest update was we no longer have to call them to call out of a shift, we can just do it on the app. The pay is also the best pay I’ve seen compared to the other agency apps. I do wish there was a way that if you have too many call outs (like 3) documented on the app, it would slowly decline based on current on time completed shifts. God forbid I have an emergency and have to call out last minute, I don’t want my 3 last call outs from months ago to affect my ability to claim shifts now. My only other complaint is that the communication is pretty bad. It takes days, sometimes even a week (which I have documented) for someone to respond to my DM on the app or email, or phone call. They need to get better at that as this is why a lot of people find this app “sketchy” which it isn’t, just really slow communication. -Kimberly T. CNA

Competitive Pay and Friendly Staff. This app is great! You get to work whenever you want, and can even get paid the next day. Sometimes bonuses are added, and they offer holiday pay when you claim a shift on a holiday.5 stars for sure!

Credentialing takes too long.. I made sure I had all my credentials uploaded and in on the same day. They’ve been sitting on pending for a long time. To give you an idea… I have since found a facility and completely finished my on boarding , completed my two step, my BCI, license checks, orientation…and already started working there … since I first uploaded my credentials to ShiftMed. If you need to work ASAP, this is not the company for that.

(CNA)experience overall with shiftmed. So far few months working with ShiftMed has been a great! Good pay, gives me the flexibility with my hours and how far out I drive to go to work. Gna. I started with sm the beginning of February .did all my credentials and started doing shifts. This is my first time wrking for an agency and I love it and the place that I pick up with am. Just didn’t receive badge yet but come join it’s worth it work when you want and it’s always work.

DO NOT!!!!!WORST APP DONT PAY YOU!!. Had a incident where I went to work at a facility and a Shiftmed employee threatened to bring her daughter to assault me with her friends. They suspended my account due to an “investigation” and still haven’t paid me for previous shifts I’ve worked. There is NO INSTANT PAY. I’ve had better luck on apps like connectRN KARE INTELYCARE clipboard health ect. Absolutely hate Shiftmed. And it takes very long for them to answer the phone and they never call back once you choose that option. Horrible.

Guaranteed Shifts and Next Day Pay. This app has helped me tremendously with picking up shifts and making sure I get PAID FOR MY FULL SHIFT if it is cancelled because of the Guaranteed shifts feature. I can also request 50% of my pay the very next day and I need that because I can’t wait until Friday. Thanks for looking out ShiftMed! Good App. Just worked my first shift as a new CNA. Honestly, my experience so far has been great. The communication within the app works fairly well as I get a response within 36 hours, so it could be faster. The credentials, although tedious, are worth it because I loved training to be a CNA and I look forward to the work most of the time. But one thing about the credentials is that the additional ones are sometimes required by facilities or else you wont get as good jobs so I think they just should not have additional ones and just add them to the regular ones. Its easy to pick up shifts and to call out or cancel. They should make it easier to change your work location though as I am also a student at VCU in Richmond and I primarily live near DC so there is a lot of traveling that I do and I can’t change my primary work vacation even though I am certified all across VA.

Holly Sharman, LPN. Shiftmed is such an amazing place to work. They truly care and appreciate you as a person, never a number. They are extremely receptive to any and all feedback. Shiftmed supports and respects you as a healthcare worker and always puts our well being and safety above all. They treat you like a member of the family. This is my first experience working with, not for, an agency. Although I’ve had several offers from other agencies, Shiftmed will always be my home.

Customer support. I just downloaded the app and went through the process of Registering. Right now I am still waiting for my background check to be verified. The online part of it is a smooth transition however where is the customer support? There are NO live representatives, no customer support. There is a bot computer that is not much help and for healthcare you need someone to contact for issues or even emergency issues. I’m not sure If I will continue because of this.

Must not want nurses to work shiftmed. I downloaded the app and uploaded my credentials in sometime in 2021. I asked through their worthless bot what else was needed & it said a background check. I asked how to complete the background check & the worthless bot sent a link to a different state other than my home state. After going back & forth, I gave up. Until recently. I've received multiple emails about needs, but my background check is not done. If this is how shiftmed completes its onboarding, it's not likely to be any better when you sign of for x amount of $/shift.

Crazy. Worst company every they was nice and my cuzzin with them this y I went but a day I work it was a problem on floor mind u there all day after that went down they called and said I’m a no show but I’m there go clock out it was a issue find out they called around 6 saying I was a no show next day they fix it NP now there calling saying I was clocked in with two different companies like y’all can’t stick to one story and shiftmed to save face with them side with them knowing the story don’t sound rite been doing this 10 and some years soon I deal with shiftmed I got issues it’s ok send my papers I don’t want to work for a company that don’t have there workers back I’m telling everyone I know this company not good

App still has bugs. The app is good, however, despite the updates, you guys still have yet to fix the bug regarding the faq questions. Everytime I tap on a faq question, the page comes up clear with no article and alot of times I have to go through the task of going on my browser when I should just be able to look up commonly asked questions in the app so I can get answers quicker. Please fix this

Avoid and try another app. I’ve been working as a lpn with shift med for a short while. Even tho I was already working / picking shifts as a lpn , Some nasty fat representative by the name of chrissy and Leah g blocked me from working, because they have poor morale. How do you let me work 3 shift as a lpn then tell me It was a mistake in the system. The unprofessionalism the poor customer service . They hire any idiot to take phone calls . After I get paid for my shifts I will be deleting this mental challenged developed app

Best nursing app. Best app. I have about 6 nursing apps and none are like ShiftMed. There the best. A lot of shifts. Best app design. Good customer service. Never any issues with my pay. I use shift med for almost all my shifts. Once I claim it’s 90 percent mine unless the facility cancel. I think that better then the other apps that make me bid or apply, then it’s almost time for the shift to start and I never get the shift or even a decision. Shift med is not like that and it’s better.

Horrible experience. They don’t answer the phone they will take a shift you worked off and not try to pay they don’t respond at they say “24/7 support” but you almost can never get in contact with anybody the payroll team don’t have number you can call they say they will give you a call back and do not there horrible company who loves to lie they need to get there act together. This is the worst app ever the allow facility’s to cancel your shift after you worked it in there system and they will not pay for it they give you the run around I been waiting 3 weeks to be paid for a shift I worked and I been calling and get next week next week but no payment has been made

Love It!. ShiftMed offers flexibility, you make your schedule and the pay is higher than average. You can work as much as you want. Next-day pay is convenient if you require cash before payday. The app is easy to navigate. I love ShiftMed.

Easy to use. Love this app!! It has helped me find work and make money during slow times at my job, being able to pick up shifts through the app when I want has really helped me these past few months!!!

YIsaa GA. ShiftMed is good apps. Tonette is incredible, I love my work and I get shifts to fit my own schedule and extra. I’m never late, never call out , I always get answers to my questions. If we all listen the training properly, specific times were given for us to get response and next day pay if needed. I’m enjoying ShiftMed, I invite my friends.

Don’t waste your time. You’re not working for yourself they try to force you take full time positions or take away options of picking anything up. You can’t float only one facility and a monthly schedule they are aware of . You get paid regular pay lucky if it’s 19$ if they cancel and you there they give you $30 never full pay or even half that’s a joke but they get full pay for you. They pay the least and the facilities don’t even have stars. If you looking for prn or self employment this is not it and very unreliable for adults.

Shift Med is not to bad. Shift Med is actually some what easier than I thought it would be picking up shifts is pretty simple… they send reminders so u won’t forget your shifts the only thing I don’t like is that the fact that if u accidentally click the wrong shift it’s considered a call out and it can negatively affect you picking up shifts even if u catch the mistake 2 minutes after realizing and contact them to correct the problem .. I feel that’s very unfair but other than that it’s not a bad staffing company to work for.

My Experience. Since I started working with ShiftMed everything has been so perfect. Tonette has been so much help and understanding to every situation. She's made this an experience that I would recommend to everybody. She works with you and tries to get the facilities to work with you too. Tonette is 100% committed to everyone she works with and is nothing but amazing. Overall the whole company is great and if you are looking and willing to work get with ShiftMed.

Ok company though haven’t been able to claim a shift at the moment. So since I’ve been with this company shiftmed I’m able to give 3 stars. There are shifts for this that don’t mind driving a distance from home for work which good for those. For those that are looking for local shifts it’s helpful to have a way on this app to know of any local shifts that contracts that are being worked on. Plus I haven’t seen anywheres on this that shows what your hourly pay is besides the pay that shows next the facility and location. Thank you Skinnieminnie07

Honest Review. So let’s get to the point, Shiftmed is misleading. For example, I work a shift that was grossed $226. I did next day pay and I received 50% of my earnings and my net pay was $113 that’s it. On pay day which is a Friday, I did not receive any additional funds from that shift. So in conclusion, your gross pay is reduced 50% if you do next day pay. It’s not worth it because at this point you are working for peanuts. I pick up three shifts from the same facility and this facility canceled all of my shifts. However, on other apps like Intelycare, the app told me this specific facility I pick up at as high cancellations. I think this is important information shiftmed should feature on their app. Another thing that should be added are reviews from professional workers that have work at facilities. In conclusion, I will not be picking up shifts on shift med.

Facilities need to pay for canceling 2 hours before shift starts!. I’m only giving this app/agency 4 stars simply because they don’t penalize facilities for canceling last minute. I’m constantly getting canceled an hour or 2 before my shift starts which I’m turn makes me lose out on money! There isn’t always another facility available to just pick up with at the last minute! Workers should be compensated by facilities for canceling last minute!

LPN. Great app. So convenient and flexible. Glad to be apart of the company. Everything is online, One problem I have is the pay compared to other agencies with the same facilities, their pays always less than; Nonetheless, the pay is still good. you work what you can when you can. I’ve been recommending it ever since.

Best way to work. I love working for ShiftMed. You can chose when and where you work. If you are a parent you never have to miss a soccer game or meeting with a teacher. I also like the Guaranteed Shifts. I never have to worry about being cancelled, because I know I’ll still get paid.

So Frustrating. I’ve waited a good 2 months for ShiftMed to verify my background, I9 and references. They said it’s delayed due to covid and I’ve been understanding of that but TWO MONTHS? I contacted them for help and two weeks later I still haven’t heard back. I’ve left voicemails, left a message under the “contact help” option. NOTHING. They must not be so serious about what they do. I’ve applied and gotten verification from three other agency companies within the wait time of this agency to verify my documents.

(STNA) Recommend ShiftMed. So far so good. ShiftMed is a must, work when and where you want, guarantee pay on some shifts/facilities, holiday pay, bonus pay, fun ways to get a big bonus pay out, next day pay is available, staff is very professional and understanding which is absolutely a great deal for me, awesome app that is convenient with clocking in and clocking out etc. I can go on about my likes about ShiftMed. Sounds to good to be true but it’s true ShiftMed is recommended.

Horrible communication!!!!. The only reason why I’m giving them 1 star is because I can’t give 0 star. The process of starting to work with this company is a real headache. The representative was I had was just horrible. I had issues uploading some documents and there’s absolutely no number to call so I can get some guidance, instead there’s a chat box that shows that someone is active but they don’t respond in a timely manner. I ask questions and I get one response which is not sufficient and not helpful to my question. It’s like they are short staffed and are limited to answering only one question. Then you have to sign up to schedule a call which almost never happens. If you are going to sign up to work for this company BE SURE TO UNDERSTAND EVERY SINGLE THING!!! Because if you are looking for their assistance you will never get it. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone just imagine how it is when you actually start working. Also the only number they have available is if you are calling off and with that being said they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES.

Easy to use!. This app is super helpful when finding work as a caregiver. The flexibility of the shifts and the wide range of locations to choose from is a big plus for me! Using this has been a great time management tool!

Nice pickup, terrible pay. Shiftmed was a nice start off for me, but after working for several weeks I find it odd how much of your money they take out for taxes. I knew my first pay out seemed odd but even after reaching out to the company they claimed it was taxes… but they take the same amount of taxes out whether you work a 14 hour week or a 40. Very disappointing!! Pros: easy apply, quick start to work, cons: the 20/hr pay means nothing if you aren’t going to get what you worked HARD for!

So many improvements!. The app is easy to use and convenient. As far as the company itself, it’s hard to believe how many positive changes they have made in just a few months! It’s clear that they are really listening to their employees! Looking forward to what’s to come!

App functionality is ridiculous. After waiting 3 weeks to be fully verified due to bugs within the app, I’m unable to claim any shifts because… you guessed it… bugs within the app again. When I click “claim” to claim a shift it takes me to my already verified documents. There’s no next button no continue nothing I’m just stuck. I can’t see anything when I click help. There’s no customer service. I’ve applied to two other apps which service a lot of the same facilities but it’s just frustrating. There needs to be live customer service asap like we’re in healthcare things change any minute.

Love working with ShiftMed. ShiftMed is an awesome company to work for. The shifts available are close to where I live so I can work and not have to commute too far. The app is easy to use. Uploading my credentials was easy and I had a staffing coordinator help me with scheduling orientations and pick up shifts. I got paid the next day and made more than I have with other agencies. Really happy to work with ShiftMed.

Fast response. The only shift i have been to, the nurse sent me home saying they no longer use Shiftmed and don’t understand why they keep sending nurses. To Shiftmed’s credit they corrected the problem pretty quickly and paid me for the two hours for going out there. It seems there was a problem with cooperate of the facility I was sent to. I have been unable to work with them as there is not a lot of shifts in my area. I am hoping they will continue to grow. They have someone 24 hours to handle any issues you may encounter. I appreciate I was just paid without having to make follow up phone calls.

Cna. If I could rate this app it’ll be -0 stars they don’t care nothing about the employees they run with whatever the facilities tell them they don’t care if you sick in the hospital !! They don’t care to pay you when you worked hard at nasty dirty rude facilities they send you places they know are horrible and when you say something about it they don’t care it’s no hero pay they want you to work with Covid patients at facilities that don’t even provide I-95s and they only pay $20 a hour the on call staff is very rude, unprofessional, and don’t care about ! They won’t let you stand up for yourself or your health all in all its a hot mess and I would never recommend anyone to work here !!!

Great company and equally great app!. I’ve been working at ShiftMed for almost 2 years now and they are by far the best agency I’ve worked for. They actually care about YOU whereas IntelyCare only cares about their reputation with the facilities they staff. Super user friendly app, in comparison to Gale, DNA, ShiftKey, Grapetree, I could go on but you get it. Only problems I come in contact with a lot are if I’m clocked in past when my shift is over, it’ll act like I had already clocked out and the supervisors will have issues clicking the drop down to sign me out. Really easy fix for the first one- just close out the app and open it back up and you’ll be clocked in. The second one is just a little tedious for the supervisors but it may also just be my phone.

Could be a bit more fair. I would cancel a shift and it would say I only have 0 call outs how do I have 0 call outs left if this is my first time in months using the app in months ? Then I can’t go back to one location because they said I did a no fall no show which isn’t true because I never did a no call no show in my life. Now I’m down to just 1 local location. I also don’t like the fact that you can refesh the app so that the call outs from last year go back down to zero. It’s kind of confusing. The pay is fair in my opinion but the app could be more fair for the employees

Amazing Company. This company has changed the game in the medical field. So easy to claim shifts, the pay is outstanding and you get to choose what shifts you want. Great way to pick up shifts!. Easy to use, lots of buildings, next day pay, great staffing coordinators and communications. ShiftMed allows me to work when I’m available and the money is great! Strongly recommend.

Misleading. It’s impossible to claim “open” shifts! Each facility listed in the app requires a certain showrate. That is, how many shifts you’ve successfully completed. Without a showrate, you’re not able to book shifts, but how do you establish a showrate when you can’t book any shifts in the first place! It’s so frustrating. I just gave up

Wonderful. Just started with this company but I’ve been an agency nurse for years. It’s so easy to book shifts. They are wonderful for helping navigate the app and other concerns. Prompt response times.

Communication fiasco. Ive been trying to get set up with them for eighteen months. I had to call corporate for a background check twice. Cant get help when you need, left with no response when I had an emergency and had to cancel a shift. Ive worked agency for over 12 years. I cant say I would recommend shiftmed to anyone. Just a very poor onboarding experience all around.

The app is slow/freezes & I can not get help.. I have been trying to get in touch with someone about my credentials for a least 2months. Everything has been uploaded and it still keeps saying I am missing one of my credentials, I have clicked the contact us and it just freezes. This in unbelievable!

This app has so many deficits. This app doesn’t allow you to clock in for your shift, then you have to call to get your time adjusted which is a pain at times due to the call center hanging up on you multiple times. This also prevents you from getting paid until weeks later.

Cares About Employees. I had a issue with something, went through the chain of command nothing was done about it at the time . Todd and Jacob reached out to fix the issue ASAP . I really appreciated it. Great company to work for .

Perfect for second income. Shiftmed is an awesome app . It allows hcps to pick up shifts and work when they want to vs being under a contract or on someone else’s schedule.

CNA. I worked 2 shifts and was please with the communication support provided by ShiftMed during my shift. Being able to speak to a live person verses a bot was truly needed and appreciated. I was pleased with my experience with Shiftmed and referred others. Great Pay, Great Schedules and It’s a Your Choice of Placement.

Love shiftmed!. I have been with ShiftMed for about four months now and I have nothing but positive experience with them especially their guaranteed shifts!!!

Have ZERO facilities/shifts for RNs in Milwaukee!!. Everyday I see ads for them on Indeed for RNs all over WI. Been with them 5 months now and at first they had some (very few) shifts but now for the last 3 months they have ZERO facilities in Wisconsin! I’ve even set the filter for a 125 mile radius from Milwaukee just to see lol! Yet they are constantly advertising for RNs in Milwaukee on Indeed!! They have NO WORK! Don’t waste your time joining like me.

Shifts. I picked up a few shifts I act like but my thing is some you can’t pick up cause it say you have to go to orientation first but can never get one . On one of them I did the orientation and it stu won’t let me pick up that’s a bummer

ShiftMed is one of the Better Agency’s. In my area there are not many agency close enough to really make a difference in pay. ShiftMed offers a lot of facilities, but I wish there was more as people are continuing to join and there isint enough shifts for everyone.

ShiftMed is the best!. I love being able to see how much I’ve earned directly within the app. Next Day Pay is also very cool!

Great source of extra income. This is a great option to earn extra money. They have same day pay and I can work on my schedule!

Reliable. I love how they make it so easy to clock in and out, and also they give you reminders on your upcoming shifts so you don’t forget. From claiming shifts to getting in-app help is very convenient.

Glitches. The “Get Help” menu doesn’t work when you click on the articles nothing shows up and it’s annoying because you can’t use the website so you literally have to call them for everything

App and pay. My app is still stuck since Wednesday. I can’t claim any shifts or clock in/ out. I talked to all these different people and the app still don’t work. ShiftMed wasn’t trying to pay me when I was confirmed for a shift showed up and wasn’t on the schedule. No number to call to a live person. You’re talking to 3 people before you talk to the person u actually need to talk too. I am over it

Lots of opportunity and get paid fast!!. There are so many shifts to choose from, even for full time work. Plus get paid the next day!!!

Robot Customer Service. They have the worst customer service team ever! When you need help or trying to find some understanding with the facilities the customer service only responds with what’s in there scripts. No one has a heart or compassion there. Just a bunch of cold robots calling the shots who act like there’s nothing they can do to help! I’m not disgruntle or anything and my review is very real! I’m on a six week contract of block booked shifts because that’s how good of a worker I am!

Low pay. Your competitors are paying more nobody wants to work a noc shift at a hospital for 21 an hour at least I don’t not to Mentioned I didn’t even get paid my 8 hour of work even though I called u to tell u that there was a problem with the app and couldn’t clock in on timely manner . Don’t cheat people with their pay!

Great company and app. They always are making changes and adding new things that are useful like guaranteed shifts and next day pay. Can’t wait to see what other great features are coming up!

Option to change phone number. Love the app. Would love the option to update phone number inside the app.

Good company. Easy to pick up shifts, the staff is very nice and they actually pick up the phone when you need to cancel, and I love the next day pay

Shift med does not try retain its staff. I work for them since June 2020. It is so difficult scheduling shifts. Now I can’t pick up any shift. I get a message to call their 1-800 number. I called in December a spoke to someone from the office and apparently by December 13th they were supposed do a background check on me again after two year. It almost a month a still I can’t pick up shifts. They are slow to respond when you call them. If you text them its useless .

App is very easy to use. I can call or use the help feature when I have questions and the notifications help keep my schedule up to date.

DO NOT!!!!!WORST APP DONT PAY YOU!!. Had a incident where I went to work at a facility and a Shiftmed employee threatened to bring her daughter to assault me with her friends. They suspended my account due to an “investigation” and still haven’t paid me for previous shifts I’ve worked. There is NO INSTANT PAY. I’ve had better luck on apps like connectRN KARE INTELYCARE clipboard health ect. Absolutely hate Shiftmed. And it takes very long for them to answer the phone and they never call back once you choose that option. Horrible.

Easy to use!. This app is super helpful when finding work as a caregiver. The flexibility of the shifts and the wide range of locations to choose from is a big plus for me! Using this has been a great time management tool!

Maybe potential. I think this app would be really great but customer service has been non existent and I have been waiting over a month to be approved just getting a message waiting for background check I don’t think it takes two months I have Used other apps and it doesn’t take this long I guess I may not get to use the app

Could be more user friendly. Most health care workers are liscened to work in a certain state however there is not a filter option to present upcoming shifts in different states they are mostly in Philadelphia, which is great if you live in that area but very unfortunate for others. I was very disappointed to discover this and I expected better.

Great Agency to work for. Shiftmed has easy clock in and out options. Easy access to help. You are paid on time.

Freedom.. I love the freedom of picking your own hours and facilities that fit you the best, one issue I have is the address, sometimes the app has the wrong address for the facilities, that need to be updated.

No shifts available when I got all my documents uploaded in the App.. This was a complete waste of my time. I downloaded the app and it showed several shifts in my area. Then I did all the credentialing and all the jobs disappeared. Hmmmm what a scam, you got my personal information and now No jobs. Oh and I see know way to remove my information. I will be calling my lawyer about this.

Great company to work for. ShiftMed has been the best agency to work with. This job is very rewarding. I love the benefits, goals we work towards, and management. I am extremely happy. I highly recommend ShiftMed.

Staffing Coordinator. ShiftMed is the best. I am constantly sharing this app with all of my friends and family because the company knows how to treat it’s employees. We work on our time and get next day pay. This is the best company in this century.

Easy to work. I like that I can choose when and where I work. The pay is great and you can get next day pay.

False advertisement. False advertising pay rate. I had a shift where I was supposed to make $171 at the end of my shift I was paid only $85. Not only did they advertise the shift as if I would be getting paid a higher pay rate but they also failed to notify me that taxes would be deducted from my pay. I have two dependents, there’s no way I should have been taxed $86 from a $171 check.

Avoid and try another app. I’ve been working as a lpn with shift med for a short while. Even tho I was already working / picking shifts as a lpn , Some nasty fat representative by the name of chrissy and Leah g blocked me from working, because they have poor morale. How do you let me work 3 shift as a lpn then tell me It was a mistake in the system. The unprofessionalism the poor customer service . They hire any idiot to take phone calls . After I get paid for my shifts I will be deleting this mental challenged developed app

CNA. I have been with Shift Med for 6 months and they are a wonderful company very easy to clock in and out, next day pay availability and always have shifts available. Diana.

Cancellations abound. This app penalizes the user for call outs and no shows, but not facilities who fail to cancel within the 2 hour window. Never drive far to a facility you have picked up at until you have called and get a person’s name to confirm they have you down as working a shift. 50% cancellation rate. Poor shift availability most of the time.

Great Pay/Great Company/Flexible schedule. Absolutely love being able to work for ShiftMed. The company allows me to work the schedule I want and pays great! Thank you ShiftMed for providing the flexibility I need in my profession.
