WeWard - Walking Rewards App Comments & Reviews 2026

Occasional cheaters. I’ve been using this app for almost one year and it’s pretty good except sometimes they cheat on Wards and games. You’re supposed to get more wards for reaching certain levels, and they say it could take up to 48 hours to update from the game to the app, but I passed a high level weeks ago and never received the wards for it. When I tried to report it or get help, it was just preloaded questions and answers so I could never actually report the problem and no one actually resolved it. I won’t say this happens often, but I can’t say it never happens because this is at least the third game that this has been an issue on, and it’s happened at least three or four times within the current game I’m talking about now (word bridges). Other than not getting wards as promised/advertised sometimes, it’s a pretty good way to track steps and have friendly competition and whatnot. Just wish they offered human help when needed and didn’t cheat every time you reach a higher reward of wards.

good BUT max goal changes too quick…. i have fun watching my steps be converted into this app and collecting XP. however, if you have a fluke day where you walk more than normal and reach the max step goal that day, it’ll up that goal for the next day. i have two days in my week when i don’t work as many hours so i tend to walk more on those days, but i can’t consistently meet the max on the other days especially when it bumps up the amount of required steps from those free days. for example, i normally try to hit 10k everyday. on sunday, i had more time and walked 17, (the max ward goal. when i opened the app on monday, the max ward goal had changed to 18k. i had time that day too, so i was able to reach it. tuesday comes and the steps required had changed to 19k. but the rest of the week i’m working longer hours so i cant meet this number. it says it’ll return to my previous level if i dont reach it in 7 days, but i feel that’s too long and it shouldn’t have changed that quick in the first place. i believe the steps for the max star level should only increase if you are showing consistency in reaching that level. one day reaching that level should not increase the requirement immediately for the next day, especially when it takes a week to go back down. so the rest of the week you’re missing out on wards. this especially irks me as someone with OCD, seeing the star level go unreached and missing out on wards because the two days i'm free messed up the rest of the week.

DIDNT EVEN GET PAID. First of all, I didn’t get paid I tried playing the games still didn’t get paid. They made me download it for no reason made me download. Match Royal or Royal match whatever for no reason that was a huge waste of time. I feel like I got played you know. My wife is upset because I said I could pay the bills, but nope. I’ve been walking for so long. I went on a walk today right I was walking for ten hours cause I thought I would’ve got paid a lot. You know. But I didn’t so do not get this in. I repeat do not get this. I’m sitting here on my front porch crying while I’m typing this cause. I said I could pay the bills, but I didn’t it. So now I gotta figure out how to cause I quit my job for this app you know I quit my job. I was a janitor at McDonald’s that was paying the bills and now I can’t go back to McDonald’s because they found a new janitor to replace me so now I’ve been filling out my job application seeing if I can get a new job, but all of them denied me. I don’t think we have in the in the refrigerator is hold Let me go check. Eggs, milk, ketchup, and water. And some peanut butter. This game is a scam I hate it I would never. Play on this app again. That’s all I had to say. Have a good morning or night or afternoon everyone.

Trading Live with WeWard. I am so happy that my Son introduced me to this app and I have referred 5 people who have joined, and one of them referred 2 friends. I love the walking app because it movitates you to walk. The games, if you like you can play and win a bit more WeWard coins to help your bank grow. I love trading and completing my books to get your prize for completion, however I think the trading cards should only show you walkers who actually can trade back instead of just trading offers. I had 10 cards that I needed from different walkers who I found in trade but I had nothing to offer and one declined so I am sure others will decline my offer if they don't want duplicates. Thank you Weward for all the spins and cards that you give daily as well. 👍

Was okay, now more ads. Update: I received a $10 payout after 2 months of walking, answering some surveys, and making several referrals. I feel like this app is less concerned with your steps and more interested in people playing games, purchasing things through their app, and answering surveys. I deleted the app after my payout was completed. Original review: I downloaded this app about a month ago. After recent updates, I am getting ads after converting my steps. Some of the ads have hidden the X to make them harder to close. I have also noticed that the app is not showing as many steps as my watch/phone. I’ve been trying to collect the cards, but I’m not sure what the point of them is, and it feels like trying to complete a set is an unattainable goal. I also tried doing surveys but it’s like you have to fill out a whole survey of repetitive questions just to see if you qualify. Apparently I’m not in very many targeted groups. 🙄

Rewards Don’t Work!. This app takes forever to earn and then it robs your hard earned coins! Ive tried twice to redeem for a $10 PayPal transfer and both times it said I would need to confirm my email but the email never arrived. The email on my account is correct and working. They just put the coins back and never redeem the reward. Ive been walking every day and waiting almost a year to earn 1000 coins to redeem! Now it doesn’t work! Only “Premium” users who pay $5.99 per month or$49 for the year can redeem at lower amounts. This isn’t the first time this app hasnt worked as advertised. I have “Joker Cards” which are supposed to keep your streak going if you forget to convert steps in place of paying 50 coins. I’ve never had to use one until a few days ago when I forgot but the app just took 50 coins and didn’t even offer one of the THREE joker cards on my account. This app isn’t worth it. It’s become FULL OF ADS & GAMES. It’s not even about walking anymore. I’m tired of wasting my time watching ads just to convert steps. I didn’t download this app to play games and watch ads or shop. I just wanted a simple app that counts and rewards my steps to motivate me walking. If that’s what you’re looking for too, this is NOT the app for you. If you want to be hounded to play games, collect cards and watch ads for games and products or buy things from the app for points, that’s what this app is about. It’s barely a walking app anymore. Don’t be surprised if it steals your coins and you never get your rewards. I contacted supper about my missing reward and haven’t gotten a response. Theres better apps out there that actually pay the rewards they promise. This app is just a time waster and I’ll be deleting it today.

Least favorite out of all my walking apps. I have several walking apps and this one would have to be my least favorite. I don’t like the fact that you have to walk 20,000 steps each day to get the most number of WeWards (25 points total). On my best day, I may be getting 13-14,000 so I think 20,000 is a ridiculous amount for the average person. Most of my other walking apps have a max of 10,000 which is doable. I have yet to reach the top number to get all 25 points in one day, and I have been using this app for almost a year. Another feature that I just don’t understand the point of is “xp” which is what you earn to level up. I don’t understand how that helps me earn points towards gift cards so it seems pointless. Overall, I still use the app, but it’s definitely my least favorite. I did recently figure out that I could connect my Fitbit to it which has increased my liking for the app as I don’t keep my phone on me at all times so a lot of my steps would not get counted. Of all the walking apps I use, this one take the longest to cash out from walking alone. I tend to like to build my points up to get the largest gift card option. At this moment though, I can only get the $10 gift card for 1,000 points and I have used this every day for 261 days. I’m at 1,749 points right now. So all to say the payout seems to be slower than other apps but I’ll still use the app because it’s reliable and I can actually cash out. I just think there are better and faster cash out apps out there.

Decent Time-Killer, but Difficult to Earn. I've been using WeWard for over three months now, but I've got a few things worth mentioning: 1. The weekly step goals that the app sets are usually pretty high for me to obtain, which isn't an issue but it puts rewards just out of grasp even when I try to reach them. 2. I quite dislike that I have been forced, not asked, by the app to use my Wards to refresh my streak. This has taken over 200 of my Wards and it's frustrating to not be given the option to opt out, especially when I don't make many Wards with the goals to begin with. 3. The lowest payout option that's even remotely achievable is put behind a paywall. You seriously need premium just to cash out $5?? Are you joking?? The fact that I've played for over three months and have yet to even break 500 Wards is frustrating, especially with the state of the streaks demanding refresh and not asking, and all the effort I've put into using the app and the fact that even if I DID hit 500, I can't get anything without either spending money (which is stupid when I'm trying to earn money) or by scraping up the singular Ward I get from walking every single day, if that. I really only keep it for the idle benefit, but even I'm starting to question if I'll ever get what I've earned. I'll try to come back and update if I do actually manage to cash out or I just delete the app lol.

Needs Improvement. For all intenses purposes it works to help track steps and keep you held accountable for monitoring them. As well as motivating you to walk more. For those reasons it got 3 stars. It is missing the other 2 stars because the “rewards” points are only earned if you log into the app and “convert your steps.” You don’t end up getting rewarded for your effort which is the reason in the first place you are trying to improve. Which I know why because they want you on their app and to watch the adds which they get paid for but still not worth it for me. Causes a negative effect rather making me want to try harder. Another thing is I would earn “Repair Jokers” and they never worked. Instead I had to “buy” them with the coins I earned and those are a SLOW process to earn them! Lastly, the additional “rewards” earned are not in fact rewards, gifts, bonuses, etc. they are another way to spend money. 😢 This app is no longer for me.

Not about WALKING. My wife and I were really enjoying this app. We recently started walking to lose weight, then saw an ad that said to turn our steps into money and challenges. At first my wife and I could win every challenge because we were walking so much. Then one day my wife was neck and neck with a guy who suddenly jumped so far ahead of her it didn’t make sense. We reached out to support to say that surely this guy had cheated. Turns out he must have collected some really rare cards in the app and jumped way ahead. The bottom line is that you can drive to earn cards. So despite my wife walking 50x the steps of the other guy, he was earning 10x the points. Btw, the cards are rare so completing sets is very unlikely. He would have to have completed 4 sets in a single morning to get as many points as he did. If you want motivation for walking, this is not the app. It is about ads and trying to get you to pay their subscription. Which I was thinking about paying for until I realized I could still get beaten by people who were not walking.

Takes forever to get coins. Collecting cards is pointless. What I do like about this app is it pushing you to be more active each day. Although, after a while, the goal gets pushed out to be unattainable on a daily basis. For example, you hit 10k steps and get so many “coins”, the next day you have to hit 12k steps for the same amount of “coins”. Before you know it, you have to walk 20k steps for that same amount of “coins”. This makes it harder to obtain minimal points on a daily basis. Also, the collecting cards has been a big waste of time. It takes forever to complete a “pack” and when you complete a pack guess what your reward is? That’s right, more cards. So what is the point of collecting cards if all you receive is more cards? I’ve completed about 6 packs, and the best reward I got was 50 points. The rest have all been earning more cards. I have been using this app for about 3-4 months. I have yet to redeem for a gift card yet because I’m still 400 points away from my 2,000 point goal. Once I achieve this goal I’m going to delete this app because I don’t feel the rewards are beneficial to my time spent on the app. There are other walking apps that I use that are easier and quicker to obtain gift cards. If the developers make collecting cards actually rewarding for collecting “coins” as well as provide other options to earn more “coins” (aside from buying things online) I might reconsider.

Fun Way to Track Steps But Absolutely A Scam outside of that.. Tracking steps on the app is fun, if only because I enjoy the streak feature as it motivates me to walk twice as much. Do not waste your money on the premium feature. There’s a lot of ads in the app and some of the side games like “spin the wheel” force you to watch an ad before using one of your 4 spins you get daily. Even if you have premium… Unlike every other app, premium here doesn’t remove ads from the equation. The spin the wheel game is rigged against the user. My fiancée and I tracked my 4 spins a day for two weeks. The reward seems to be set prior to “spinning.” It’ll either spin really fast and just miss 10K or it’ll slow down and then speed up so you miss 10K. Doesn’t seem to implement an actual RNG system. The card collecting is cool but I’ve been screwed on completing sets even when I’ve purchased a few gold packs. The cards are always in the same location. They never move. They just change. I’ve collected the 7 around my neighborhood daily for a month and it’s repetitively boring on that front.

Good but could use some improvements. I’ll start off with something I won’t deny I’m a pretty competitive person so I like to try and get all the rewards I can but it really annoys me having quests like get this exact amount of steps and I get around the amount it ones and the app just refuses to update my step count till I have another 1k steps so now I can’t claim my reward what’s the point of having ones like that if your app won’t even update but every once in awhile it’s so stupid and I have a watch that I use to track so it will tell me I’m at the exact amount so I’ll stand still for like 5 minutes trying to get it to update the step count but it refuses to also the daily walk counts like oh walk at this specific time I get they are trying to create variety but it makes no sense I have a set schedule like what do you mean walk between 6am and 8am makes zero sense like you can see my general times I’m active I work nightshift so wouldn’t it make sense to have more goals more aligned with that?

Step count and distances are inaccurate. I live in a gated community according to Google maps the gate is 0.9 miles from my home I walk there and back every morning totaling 1.8 miles until I opened Google maps it was only counting half my steps to now 2/3rds of them and only tracking 1.2 miles of walking now it’s giving me 1.5miles. Still not counting all my steps…. I’m autistic I know exactly how many steps it takes to get from the hose to the gate. I’ve walked it way more times than necessary. Please fix the distance accuracy according to Google maps. (Maps says it’s 1 miles from my even on iPhone) the distance between cards is off by a lot! There’s no way are the steps that it’s saying to get from one card to the next are even possible unless you’re taking leaps for steps! I’m currently walking and have walked 1.3 miles and it’s saying .85 wth fix this mess if anything this app has discouraged me from walking not motivate me. I went from walking to the gate three times a day it just once because seeing this app BS makes me wanna cry.

Earn more points faster, but…. Yeah, you do earn more points for walking than other apps, but rewards also have much higher costs. Plus, the lowest tiers of rewards require being premium status - which could still take weeks-months to finally achieve. The Card collecting feature is utter garbage as well. Only collected about 100 of the 400+ available cards and already getting duplicates a majority of the time. On top of this, they limit you to gathering only 7 per day when there’s HUNDREDS scattered all over. And do the placements never change? Most of them I see make you go out of your way to collect, inconveniently just out of range - the range needs to be extended by at least .1-.2 of a mile! What makes this feature even worse is there’s a ‘Vintage’ feature that makes card sets become permanently unavailable, so they expect you to go out and find other users to trade for them - who’s going to trade cards knowing they can’t get more back?

I’m tired of the grind. This is my third time trying to rant about these “money making” apps without it being deleted because it’s too long so I guess I’ll make it short. I’m sick and tired of seeing all these mobile apps and their fake ads straight up lying to your face about how easy it is to make money with them when in reality your just better off working a miserable 9-5 job. They say they’re “helping” you by resetting your steps and levels everyday but it just makes it harder for you to get wards just because you’re not active enough for them. The typical stupid spin wheel is rigged like every other app to make it near impossible to get big rewards and they have a live message board lying to you about people getting the 10,000 wards everyday, when I only get 1 ward or A USELESS DUPLICATE CARD EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE OVER 400 CARDS TO COLLECT FOR GOD KNOWS WHY. Typical playtime web with their garbage ad simulators games, unrealistic goals like complete 3,000 levels in 30 days only to be rewarded with barely any points or pennies. No actual human with a brain finds these games fun and the people in the company would not be able to complete these task as well but of course they’ll lie about it to just like in the ads 😃. Just go work at McDonalds or do Uber and stop giving these apps your time and money.

Cash out is a scam. I’ve tried repeatedly to cash out my wards I’ve earned from walking to my paypal account and it keeps rejecting it and sending the points back with no cause no reason whatsoever. My accounts are all legit, I’ve followed all of the instructions perfectly and it still won’t me cash out. I’ve had this app over a year and thought it would be a good one but it’s just another scam. I’ve even tried taking advantage of the free boxes and free offers “available” in the app and they somehow always mess it up and the boxes never come if I even get to finish filling out the info for them smh This app gets into your phone and you check in repeatedly, make sure you get your steps and points counted, and then nothing at all. Maybe it really just wants ONLY your phone information cuz that’s what it seems like at this point smh

Wondering Why?. I’m not sure why some have the version where it makes your average steps you goal and others have to meet goals where the more steps you take the higher the goal is. I also noticed that those who have the average goal also get more opportunities to get more rewards like 2Xs Please make it fair for All not just some. I also agree with others on the exact steps and also the mirrored steps. I got the mirrored steps 3xs and it failed to acknowledge it. Also getting exact steps it failed to give the points, it’s though it lags and when you refresh it goes over the steps. I like this app because it does keep me interested in walking but it gets frustrating when it takes FOREVER to close the chapters. Why do you guys make it so hard to get the 9th card in the chapters. I have so many chapters that would be closed if I could get the 9th card. The chapters are going vintage before the cards can be collected. Also why so many repeated cards. This is when this app gets old because it takes soooooo long to collect the cards and close the chapters. It’s hard to trade also when everyone needs the same cards. 😒Right now I’m not a happy walker. I have converted mirrored conversions 3xs today and yet to be rewarded for my efforts. It is hard enough to try and meet a challenge of this sort but to achieve it 3xs and not be rewarded is very upsetting😡I need to be rewarded for my efforts and please please try working out the bugs in this App. It really could be the ultimate walking app it you guys could get it together. There is so much walking that needs to be done before I can collect we wards and now that’s a lot considering the small we wards that are offered. and then do everything the right way and still not rewarded. Takingitallinstride

SO MUCH steps for 1 coin??. I downloaded this app thinking it would be a cool way to earn money and giftcards but today when I was out I decide to go one the app and it said I did 2,000 steps which I converted and only got 1 coin. In my opinion I don't think that's really fair. People should not be falling for this app and it's lying ads as it seems like one whole scam. The fact that 25,000 (Or I think 20,000) gets you 25 coins when converted is a very stupid and unfair idea and the fact that we have to grind just to get such a small bit of coins is very uncooth. i would like it more and everyone else would if you just increase the amount of coins or the steps we made would be converted into soins that are in the same amount (ex. 2,500 steps = 2,500 coins) I hope you understand the displeasement I feel. If anyone is thinking of getting this app and/or has already have it downloaded, do not get it or delete this app enitrely it is not worth anything. In short this app is a literal scam and I don't think the devs are doing anything about to make the app better

Frustrating App. App doesn’t record steps in real time. So 3,000 steps after you’ve started out, you still get the original reading, or the dial will go up and back down again to the starting reading and sometimes even below the last converted number. It won’t give you your steps until a lot later. So if you are trying to cram your steps in for an orange star before midnight, you probably won’t get any credit. It doesn’t do step in place either. I stepped about 20 minutes in place in the safe room during a tornado warning trying to complete the green star and got credit for nothing. The weekly challenge to convert at an exact number is a joke because you never know when you are at that number. Take a wild guess? Yesterday my found cards were treated as watch ad cards. When the app finally sorted that out, I got no watch ad cards so no bonus cards that day. Then it archived all of the chapters I was about to finish. So, in short, the app cheats and wastes your time and kills your motivation much of the time. I’m sticking with it for lack of a better one at the moment. Suggestions welcome.

Arbitrary midnight deadline is frustrating. So, the biggest problem I had with this app is that if you don’t submit your steps manually by midnight every day, they don’t count. At all. This may work for people with “normal” daily schedules, but those of us who are still awake and active at midnight need more flexibility than that. If I submit at any time before midnight, I lose whatever steps accumulate after the time I submit. If I try to maximize it by hitting right before midnight, I risk losing those steps. There really needs to be a grace period into the next day during which you can submit the previous day’s steps. The other issue is that the rewards accumulate very slowly unless you walk a significant amount every single day, and it takes an extremely large amount of “Wards” to cash in on anything with value. This discourages new users from continuing as they try to get started, and also pushes them to use the “alternative” sources of reward points, which are basically just data mining for ads. All in all, I recommend avoiding this app. Develop your own system of rewards for activity instead.

Just doesn’t count my steps. Edit: I’m increasing my rating from two to four stars. I downloaded another step tracking app (Cashwalk) that counts about 5 steps for every 100 steps WeWard counts! Today, Weward counted 4863 steps and Cashwalk counted 173 steps! So while WeWard isn’t perfect, it’s definitely better than at least one step tracking app! So I’ll keep WeWard and delete the other. Original: I WANT to like this app, but it just doesn’t count my steps. Even when I don’t leave my house, I walk an average of 1000 steps a day, but this app rarely even comes close to that. Today I cleaned out a garage and hauled stuff to the curb multiple times, and it says I only walked 335 steps? I walk more steps than that just going to and from the bathroom over the course of a day! I had my Apple Watch on the whole time too, so I don’t know if the app just isn’t syncing or what, but it’s just not working for me. Too bad.

Decent app but no we cards in my area. Decent app to earn some points if you’re walking, but keep in mind it does take quite a while to build wards up. It takes 1000 wards minimum to withdraw and I have 300 wards after a month and a half of walking. There are no wecards ANYWHERE in my area which I don’t understand. My city is 100,000 people which I don’t think is that small and you can’t find wecards anywhere. I thought the function was broken because I could only get my one bonus card that you get for taking at least 500 steps per day. However, I went to vacation in Florida and they were plenty of cards where I was. So obviously it works. I just don’t understand why it’s only in certain areas that are massive. Disappointing because that seems to help build your ward points a lot and is a huge part of making the app more fun to walk.

Not a money making venture. But that’s not what I needed it for. I like how it’s a little incentive to keep your phone on you (I keep setting mine places and forgetting it there) and have fun for a moment. Sometimes the ads are playable minigames if you want to watch through a few of those to get more of the little in-game collectable cards. It’s been nice to keep track of my phone, remember to walk more, and make a routine of doing a check-in before I fall asleep. There’s other things I can pair with that routine like taking my meds, brushing my teeth. It won’t disappoint if you just take it as a little incentive. Yes, there are ads if you want more points or whatever, but they aren’t exciting enough to lock you into watching ads or something dumb for hours of your day). It gets me excited to walk, and I hope it will continue to fit well into my daily use. 😊

Don’t waste your time. Liars. This app claims that they’ll give you gift cards to walk but the requirements are not only insane but they also don’t track/honor all your steps. I have the app connected to my health app and all the permissions are enabled and yet they’re always shorting me with the steps. All their rewards are 1000 “wards” which you obtain max 25 per day after walking 17k steps but since they’re not honoring your steps it’s even harder to get them cause they steal from hundreds at a time. You’d contact their customer service team and they’re not only inefficient but also they won’t even compensate you after showing them proof of their platform errors. They just said to do a bunch of steps which consist of the same old thing, deleting cache, uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, etc and even tho nothing works, they don’t do anything, they’re just collecting your data. At this point I’m convinced that those reviews that say that they do pay and that the app works are just a bunch of bots. Don’t waste your time nor sell your info to this people that won’t give you anything in return.

App glitch after 11:45 pm failing to update.. So, I have noticed that after 11:45pm my steps in WeWard do not update enough to hit the next milestone. For example tonight’s milestone I was trying to reach was 8600, I didn’t have but a couple hundred steps to go so I got up and walked enough to put me over the goal. On my watch and my iPhone the steps showed over 8600 so I opened WeWard and updated and it went to 8500 and stopped. No matter what I did I couldn’t get it to register the remainder of the steps. This is not the first time it’s happened, but I wanted to establish that this was an actual issue so I did this several nights. It only happens after 11:45 pm, the rest of the day it works flawlessly. I’ve missed out on xp and WeWard coins as a result. I’m no longer motivated to get up and make the extra effort to push for the last minute milestones…

I have an issue and can’t get support. The app isn’t bad normally. You don’t get much for walking, you really need to play the games to earn any real money. I’ve been using it for around 11 months, and I’ve made $65. It’s not much, but was enough to buy a video game I wanted. I play daily but not too much so you could earn more if you play more. Now my issue is that I didn’t get an extra reward for something I completed, which is the first time. I tried their support through the app and I got nowhere. I didn’t know what else to do, so I came here to leave a bad review and hope they respond with an email address or something I can write to instead of the ai thing that doesn’t work. If they do and fix my issue I will update my review and give more stars. Edit: They responded to this review literally saying to use the chatbot for help which is the exact thing I said doesn’t work. You can’t type any questions, it only gives you 2 options to pick and neither are relevant to my issue. After probably another 20 minutes of searching, on top of the 20 or so minutes it took me to find the chatbot, I found an email address. So I sent an email and we will see if someone actually answers, I kinda doubt it.

I would love to write a better review but…. … On multiple occasions, this app has down counted my steps. I could even provide screenshots with what my Apple fitness showed versus what this app showed even though it’s supposed to be pulling from that app. A few times more specifically today I have hit goals… But it is somehow shown me just blow that goal. Today I hit the big one of 17,000 steps… And I checked my app at 11:59 and according to my app it showed me at 17,010 steps… But for some reason, this app only showed me at 16,500 ,25 points may not be a big deal. Boni spend all day walking around trying to hit a goal and you hit it… I feel like you you should be rewarded for it. Update: for some reason… The numbers continues to change as to what I need to reach for certain goals… I walk a lot, my app tells me one thing on my phone and my Fitness and for some reason the numbers on this app are drastically different at the end of the day. Even though they request access to, my Fitness app on my iPhone… Do not download this app. Do not watch their ads because they are making way more money than they are giving us in anyway shape or form. I understand the business… But at some point you have to be fair and this is just not fair at all.

Beware SCAM!!!!! (only five star reviews appear at the top!). Congratulations Anna I’ve updated my review for you, as requested! I also reported you to the App store, filed a complaint with the BBB and Trustpilot. UPDATE- Thank you so much Anna for reaching out to me and wasting more of my time. I followed your recommendation and reached out to weward AGAIN… they again failed to have any explanation as to why my account was suspended! And after the robotic initial answer, ignored all further emails. I am so grateful to you for once again reminding me of how annoyed I am with wewards. Scammers! Please don’t contact me again, and stop sending me emails about missing me and not forgetting to convert my steps, when you’ve blocked my account!! I’m sorry you miss stealing all my personal info. I know it must be devastating, (as France, where you are based, and the entire EU have stringent data laws), that you have one less American victim to steal data from. Should I end my message with a little kiss too??? x Help by voting true reviews as helpful so the truth comes to the top of the reviews. Refused to give me a rewards. I am the fourth person I know personally in the last week that they claim their algorithm has flagged and I am not eligible to redeem rewards. FYI there are no issues until you try to redeem your rewards, then suddenly you have broken the rules! So basically feel free to use the app and watch their gambling ads and have them mine your data. But they will not pay out EVER! Contacted repeatedly and they can’t give me any reason! We need to start a class action suit.

WORST APP EVER!!!! SCAM!!!!. I’m absolutely furious right now!!! It’s no secret that it takes a decent amount of time to actually earn some money on this app. I have put in HOURS over the past couple of days trying to make a few bucks in the most agonizingly slow way possible. I need it so bad. Two of the games aren’t paying me what I’m owed after HOURS of playing them for the sole purpose to get paid. Then on top of that I just got kicked out of the THIRD survey that was supposed to pay me around 100 wards. Each time I was over 20 minutes into taking the survey. It had to be almost complete and I got absolutely nothing. There’s nobody I can talk to about it. I’m beyond upset. Obviously I need money if I’m willing to do such degradingly low paying surveys and games. Then to be cheated out of what is already offensive to be paid has me livid!!!! I was recommending this app!! Just last night I had my buddy download it. I feel taken advantage of, ripped off, lied to. Between what the games owe me and the surveys cheated me out of it equals AT LEAST 500 wards. Imagine putting in enough effort to earn 500 wards just to not receive them. We’re talking HOURS!!!!! I have nothing but animosity towards this app right now. Why wouldn’t I? I got cheated and basically stolen from. Absolutely disgusted right now. Unless they make things right, please, please use a different app. I wouldn’t wish what I just went through on anyone. Learn from my experience.

Account got suspended. I’ve never actually made a review for any app before but I feel compelled to do it for this one. I only got to use the app for a little under a month. I think the app is great; it’s a good way to stay active and earn rewards. My sister recommended this app to me since I walk a lot for work and I walk even more at my schools campus. However, when I went to convert my steps last night, I opened the app and saw that my account got suspended over suspicions in fraudulent activity. I saw that a few people experienced something similar and the developer and its team said to reach out to their customer service for help. So I did that last night and detailed my concerns. And when I woke up this morning and went through my emails, all they said was that they are unable to restore my account. It’s frustrating since I’ve collected a lot of coins in the time I had my account. It seems like you’ll get your account suspended if you’re not actively walking on the streets and/or only in one location, no matter if it’s getting counted off your phone or Apple Watch. So if you plan on using this app, I’d say to be careful on when you convert your steps or else you might end up getting your account suspended.

Meh. Thought I would give the app a try. My streak is currently over 150 days, so I have given it a fair test. This is a clunky app and not really about rewarding steps. More about “collecting cards” and buying via their app. Cards are often distributed on private property or places like the middle of a garbage transfer station lol, cards are never moved to other places, and can easily be collected from moving car when they are on roads. Challenges like 5k steps in 30 (they say 5k steps = approx 4k distance, which would be baby steps not running or jogging steps) are clunky to convert and complete as there is no correct step count directly from the app; you have to convert steps just before a run (then watch ad, see xp etc which wastes time), stop mid run (why would I want to stop mid run?) to convert steps from phone to apple health to WeWard to convert the 5k steps which takes time so they say do it at 29 minutes. I have run 5k distance (~5400 steps) in less than 29 minutes and correctly converted in the time frame it still doesn’t recognize it. Speed challenges are not geared for 62 year old female. Group levels are very easy until the space boots. Level ups are very easy. Tier challenges are things I have no interest in completing.

Good App! But..... I like this app a lot and would give it 5 stars if it weren't for one thing. I love doing the daily challenges, but they need to randomize them better. For example, yesterday I got "challenges" that weren't really challenges for getting my steps up for the day. It was things like follow a friend, send a friend a message, watch an ad to spin the wheel for prizes. And then today I have 3 walking challenges but they are time frame challenges with the 1st being early morning, then a "Sunset Stroll" and then a "Night Owl" walk. All 3 have a minimum number of steps, which isn't a big deal, but I'm not going to be up at 6am for an early morning walk, and then staying up late for the night owl walk. WeWard needs to program their daily challenge randomizer to mix up the type of challenges better for each day.. Then, and only then will I give this app 5 stars.

Lies. This app is complete false advertisement. It is such a disappointment. It is a waste of time. It does not track your steps and throughout the day will completely erase everything that you have done. It makes you start completely over. Makes it absolutely impossible to get anywhere. This app is false advertisement it does not work. They do not pay out. It has been a complete waste of time. Extremely frustrating when you are walking to achieve a goal and halfway through your walk none of your steps were recorded. It was not put forth in any accomplishments a complete waste of time extremely disappointing. I think this app needs to be removed because it is false advertisement. It’s putting people in situations that they’re walking to earn money, but at the end of their walk, they have gained no money and completely wasted their time when they could’ve been doing something for financial need I think the people should be held responsible that gave everybody a false hope for this app.

Honest Review. So… First complaint, converting steps. But, this is the #1 complaint of all your users. If I open the app it should automatically know I’m active and want to convert and do it for me. Also when I ran SoCal Ragnar I had ZERO service and couldn’t convert my steps. That means not coins I worked hard for and loss of my streak. Not just that your ads when you try to convert are super annoying. . #2 Miss your streak and pay precious hard earned coins for a joker to keep the streak. LAME and not worth it. #3 I’m not a fan of the WeCards as well. I’m a runner and have this app open but don’t like running with my phone in my hand. Not just that it’s so hard to finish a collection. The amount of duplicate cards you get is bananas then you offered to trade is such a waste of time. I use the app because eventually I’ll be able to purchase something, but even your prizes are kind of lame. Just wanted to give an honest opinion this app could be so much better.

Too many ads.. Too many ads. Especially annoying to have an Ad pop up every time when you click to convert your steps for the day. It’s exhausting. Not to mention the format of the ads. If anything WeWard has taught me patience because if you accidentally touch the ad while it’s playing it launches you over to the App store and if you indulge even a tiny bit in the Ads demo while it’s playing to can forget about the X you were planning to click and waste 5 minutes of your life. Exhausting. Just track my steps, allow me to convert my steps and go on with my day. Very Simple. Also the W coin reward system is bonkers. Become a triathlon athlete and you may earn enough coins in 5 years time to be able to redeem your hard earned coins for a measly $150, I believe that’s 10,000k coins. I average 7.5 miles a day each month for 3 months and only have 780 W coins. I think 180 at least was trying to get extra coins and waste my life on the mini games they offer. My actual exercise isn’t getting rewarded, which I feel like keeping up my exercise and motivating me to move around more was the whole point of this App. Boooooooo *throws tomato’s*

Decent for counting. So Iv used this app for almost a year now I actually had one long run of collecting days but stopped due to forgetting to convert steps I like the app but now my problem is getting to premium I tryed one game and haven’t gotten to wards for completing it surveys always screen me out like doing a survey on atlas earth is better I still credit for the screen out and the wheel the change to the wheel spin is horrible I always get cards I spin and still no big prize like 4 times a day spin and all cards I won’t open them I don’t want cards I can walk to get them and get them free with an add y do I need to win packs of cards all the time this needs to be fixed to where I’m getting wards instead of the stupid stuff you think we want at least getting one ward is better then a worthless card or joker or exp boost it’s a joke to have the wheel and only get cards for every spin

Disappointing. I have been using the app for 60 days so now I feel like I can give a fair review. While there are some things good about the app like helping to motivate you to get out and walk some more, there are glaring issues that I have with the app. Cards - By far the most frustrating part of the app. I have gotten 7 cards a day on the map for 60 days. I have watched all the ads most of those days. I have exchanged cards numerous times and have even tried getting cards from a few friends. So I have probably opened close to 800 cards. I only have 307 different ones and have completed ZERO chapters. Sorry but that is ridiculous. And considering you only get 25 wards from completing a chapter from what I hear it’s pointless making it that hard. Games and surveys - I wouldn’t expect to earn much doing these since I have experience with other apps but I don’t bother with the games here bc I earn much better rewards on other apps. Gift cards - While I don’t expect 100’s of dollars in gift cards from this app, only having 1300 of 2000 necessary points for the $25 gift card after two months when I am using the app everyday means that it will take me almost four months to get the first one. So basically if the cards part was more fun maybe I would keep using the app despite not earning any gift cards but since that part of the app is so flawed it just isn’t worth doing any longer. Will try and get that gift card in under four months but then I will delete the app.

Unrealistic expectations. I’m a 70+ lady who loves to walk. Thought I’d love this app and at first it was great. But everytime you meet your goal to get max wards fir the day, you move to next level which increases your goal. That’s ok to a point but now it up to 36,000 steps and will continue to climb. Ditto for the challenges. Some of them are just too much but you can’t move on to next challenges unless you do 5 of them. Motivate friends really? What if you have no friends that walk? Can’t do those. 8000 steps in an hour? Young folks and runners can do that, not me. 😪 24 March I cashed out for $10 walmart card to test if it really is legit, got email saying would get it in 7 business days…..still waiting for it 9 April, and am thinking it may not arrive. So……I kept the app so far but am really not expecting much as I’ve advanced about as far as I can, which is sad as I really enjoyed the more realistic challenges, just can’t get to tier 5. Ps….do like the options of donating wards to various projects.

Cards. I do enjoy it, have lost some 30 lbs. since August when I started this app. And cashed out for 150. My only complaint for now is the cards: - I wish there was a way to get a specific missing vintage card directly from the app. I am missing Halloween 9 and summer 9. Users that have extras will ask for thousands of duplicate for those. Some are even selling for really money. I guess we ward is ok with this, the cards being sold for real money. Also , I can only get to 5 out of 7 daily walking cards. Tried emailing about if the other 2 can be moved from a busy street with no side walks to a neighborhood street where I already walk and was told no, it can’t be done. Even reported the unsafe cards or cards on private properties, and nothing was done. If card location can’t be manually adjusted, what is the point of having an option to report cards in the app. The more I interact with the app, the better for the app developers

WeWard just doesn’t respond to support requests.. Update: Apparently posting something here was the trick to finally getting a response from support. But that response was ‘our game offerings are updated regularly so please check back.’ Completely brushed off and zero attempt to actually help or solve the problem. So now I’m down to 2 stars, and I won’t be spending any more money in the app going forward. Super disappointed. Original Review: This is a fun app and I love that it encourages me and my husband to get out and move more, I bought a Fitbit because of it and love the tracking. My frustration is that there seems to be no one monitoring support requests for app issues. I can’t earn wards for any Playtime games because they always say ‘not available in your region’ when I go to add them, even though my husband downloads and gets wards for the same exact games. I don’t use a VPN, and this app has my full location access so it knows I’m home- yet multiple attempts to get help from WeWard with this issue through the support options in the app have yielded nothing. It’s a shame because it really sours my opinion of an otherwise great app when there is broken functionality and no remedy for it.

One of the best walking apps. I love the app been using it almost a year. I see no real benefit besides walking. I downloaded the app because it says it rewards you for walking. However, it takes almost a year to earn money? The challenge is walking and earning should be a lot easier. I liked give back feature I would like to see more given to minorities and urban communities especially with Venus being from LA and from an urban community. Have you consulted her about how donations are given? I felt bad I told my son he could earn money walking. He since stopped using the app because it didn’t deliver on his promises and he is in a marching band no one walks more than him. Sadly a lot of the work to maintain standing maybe automated recognition of steps. And the cards as I saw being captured without having to grab them. Auto collecting because the last thing we need is more work. An app that begins to feel like work for me is the last thing I want or need. The ads are relentless. Please stop some of the adds or make them shorter. It’s horrible. Overall I really like the app but I will reevaluate if it is worth it and the full year mark. 🫶🏽

My opinion. So I can’t give you a 5 star but can’t give you a 1 either. When I first downloaded your app I thought it was amazing, but after some of your updates I really don’t care for it any more. Let me explain. I really enjoyed pushing myself to obtain all the green stars then finally getting the orange one at the end of the day. It really gave me motivation. Well you went and took that all away. For me the challenge isn’t there anymore. Now onto the wheel. I used to get the purple boost once in awhile and now I haven’t spun one in over months. Very disappointing. Do people really spin and get the 10,000 coins? I highly doubt it. I land on nothing other than cards. Actually, I could care less about those cards. There isn’t any reward in the cards other than more cards, which is very disappointing. Could you bring back all the stars and make the wheel better with the rewards. Please?

Very Unrealistic Pay, Doesn’t track steps correctly!. I am very disappointed with this app. I continue to use it each day in hopes there will be an update coming up. If you are not a huge walker like me, this is not the app for you. You will be getting 1-3 coins a day and it takes thousands to cash out. Not to mention, I wear a fitbit every day. It tracks my steps very well and is connected to my “Apple Health” -I understand not all people have apple products this is just my experience- My steps on my watch and loaded within the Health app are always SIGNIFICANTLY higher than they are on the Weward app. So I am losing out on rewards I should be getting ever single day. I mean every single day, the step counter on Weward and on my Health app are THOUSANDS of steps apart. And it gives you no option to input the correct number of steps which is understandable because people would cheat the system. But can you guys make it to where out smart watches can sync to the app? or at least to where the Health app can sync to the Weward app? Why is this not already a feature??? I’m tired of missing out on Rewards I should be getting every single day. I do not leave my phone in my pocket to walk every where I go. I shouldn’t have to keep my phone in my pocket at the gym. And afterall, keeping your phone close to your skin is known to cause cancer, so why are you guys influencing that?

Step Milestones Could Be More Rewarding. I’ve tried this app for about a month to improve my cardio and help with being more active. The card collecting and competitive leagues are great incentives to do your best. However, what lowered my motivation to continue was seeing the green bonus Ward star be pushed further and further away to milestones that I at this time cannot feasibly reach on a daily basis. It does feel more like a punishment for putting in the effort of walking. At the end of the day, now I earn just 3 wards a day when I was able to get about 8 a day, which may not seem like a huge gap, but when non-Premium members need typically 1000 points minimum to redeem personal rewards, that takes a while. I ended up giving my accumulated points to charity and will probably stop using this app following this review. If the milestone Ward rewards were a little more increased in future updates tho, I may reconsider reusing it

Kicked Off Without Explanation. UPDATE: Anna, I can’t contact you via the in-app form, as it says my account has been banned. If there is any way to fix this which doesn’t involve contacting the same general contact me form then let me know. After reading all these negative reviews I am hesitant to invest any more time on this. // I’ve been using the app for 216 days and really enjoying it, until it stopped syncing my steps. When I reached out for help, I was ghosted for a while, then told vague language telling me I violated usage rules. I can’t get an explanation of how I violated them, just an AI-like generic response. I’ve read the rules, and can’t figure it out. All this once I’ve finally reached the point where I can cash out for a reward - after not just walking, but also filling out numerous surveys, playing games, watching ads, and participating in the challenges. I’m not a person who writes negative reviews, but I feel taken advantage of. I was a real fan, WeWards, singing your praises to friends and making you a part of my everyday routine. I’m sad to feel betrayed by a brand I trusted by what feels like an algorithm’s determination.

Lots of great reviews but it’s not worth all the great reviews.. Allow me to explain why this isn’t that great. You have to walk over 10,000 steps to actually earn points but the points you earn are only 10. You get 10 points per 10,000. I don’t exactly see how that’s fair. In the end you’re wasting your time. It would be more fun and enjoyable if every 10,000 steps you earned 100 or even 1,000 points. But in order to make any real progress you have to walk every single day and about 20,000 steps per day to at least earn 25 points. The reason I have given this app a 2 star rating is because one it’s easy to navigate and two because it actually counts your steps as accurate as possible. But if you’re wanting to convert your steps into points to get rewards, it’s not worth the time or effort. Find a different app that’ll actually convert your time into good points to get to rewards faster.

Not easy but trustful. I use this app by watching advertisements after a carefully considering! For those who loved walking like me you have to guarantee at least 5000 steps a day! It will be a year-challenging before getting the greater truly benefit! The apps creator in the encouragement living healthier created this program for somes has a walking behavior passion (the effect, simply, priceless habit that keeps you living healthier)! The systems from the basic will advance to higher levels day by đấy that will reward ly for whose has the determination and loyalty in a long-term testing! Forget about the easily reward you often seen from others advertising! I trustworthy this apps and eagerly joining this project! Not easy but ain’t so hard! If you willing a long-term testing and has a walking durability habit! You should have joined this project! You won’t be disappointed! 😇

Scam BEWARE. I had been using this app for almost a full year, having earned premium status. I did all the things: walked, referred people, took surveys, downloaded games, watched literally over a thousand videos…and was close to cashing out for $150 in Venmo. And then I got a notification that I somehow “violated the terms” and in order to continue using the app, I need to delete my account, lose all my wards, and start over. I immediately emailed their support, asking for clarification and assuming it was an error. I got two very canned responses, both ignoring my request for clarification and they have, in essence, stolen all the wards I earned by simply following their rules. It’s crazy that they don’t have a way to review if there’s been an error or even remotely explain what happened. I still don’t have any idea what happened or if my account had been hacked but the shame is that I really enjoyed the app and was excited about being able to cash out. I have looked at other reviews and found other people saying similar things; when they had been close to cashing out, they were suspended or banned. The responses they’ve sent to other complaints were to message within the app, however, when they suspend or ban an account, it’s impossible to message in the app. TL;DR: they won’t pay out and their customer service is terrible. If you want to get paid for your activity, find another app.

Broken All. For days now I have not been able to watch ads for bonus cards or spin the wheel for bonus prizes. Yesterday it couldn’t connect to the server to convert my steps. I have yet to receive the update that makes gaining wards and levels easier despite my partner getting the update almost a month ago. Yes my app is up to date according to what updates are available to the app store. The same thing happened when they introduced XP several months ago, my partner received the update almost 6 weeks before I did. Also in the last two weeks when I have gone to watch ads for extra cards I constantly receive the same ad for Afterpay. I emailed them a complaint asking to please see other ads but they claim its random. The same ad 8 times in a row between extra cards and spinning the wheel for over a week straight is random? I don’t buy it. If nothing changes I will be deleting this app. If you are considering downloading this app, don’t waste your time. Pick a better walking app.

Not worth it. App itself is great a works really good but you’re not actually gonna make money, not soon that is, if you walk an average of 5000 steps a day you might get 25dollars on paypal after like a year? Anyway just want to point out that its more about discounts like sweatcoin than actually making some cash.

Great app - 1 suggestion. If a person walks by a card the app should provide it to them automatically. The goal is to get exercise not be on your phone while walking. And currently if I’m walking but don’t have the app open I don’t get the cards along my route. I think you should discuss with the team and think about changing to automatic award of a card if the user walks by that area. For example I just walked by a card that is 47 metres from my house but didn’t get the reward because…I don’t use my phone when I’m walking.

Lalalagi lagi - BINI (Lagi). I just know that this app is great. It counts my step and doing a wonderful job doing it. As for the convert chuchuburichi. I’ll be thankful to receive one by just walking~ Thank you for this app ♥️

Disappointed. I ran for 30 minutes for almost 5-6 days. To this day, I still haven’t got 5000 steps challenge. Lol.

Bad customer service. My steps were miscalculated so I reached out to the customer service team. They asked for screenshots of proof and so I sent them. After a week I got an automated response saying my ticket was closed, but nothing was resolved! How would I rate the support I received? Bad! I’m unsatisfied!

Won’t track all steps. Not too bad of an app. But I hit on average 10,000 - 15,000 steps a day, tracked by my Fitbit and health app on my phone. But this app only picks up about 4,000-6,000 steps. So it misses a lot of my steps. This needs to be fixed to be more accurate.

Unrealistic. It’ll take, at minimum; 2 years and 5 months to get the maximum PayPal/Venmo payout of $150. Who knows in almost 2 1/2 years if you or this app will still be up and functioning. Let’s not forgot you have to manually convert steps for points to get the reward. Whether it’s lost in the App Library, forgotten on a homepage, or mistakenly cleared from a notifications list, you will forget to convert and in turn; 2 years turns into never. I’ve had the app since January 2024, it’s November 2024. I have 613 points. The minimum reward $10 is 1,000 points. We need a more realistic incentive.

Wecards. I’m enjoying this app. It’s fun to see & collect the different cards from other countries. I do however collect more bonus cards than not. Since I don’t have any friends interested in joining the cards just accumulate. I was hoping that the creators of this app would allow for members to exchange cards even if they don’t know one another

Unfair. I truly find this app unfair because you have to convert your step at midnight and if you don’t convert you loose your step and any wewards as if we never took one step. Are step should automatically convert at midnight by having WeWard to automatically convert our step will get more and better ratings so with that I have to give a poor rating until this is fixed lot of WeWard users we get upset because they walked the step and got nothing in because of life happing and to spend wewards to recover steps that’s not ok either cuz then it’s pointless to save steps ultimately leading to deletion of this app… Don’t make you wewards stressful ..

NuJax. I absolutely love this app it’s simple and pretty easy to navigate; however, I still haven’t figured out where to go to read messages from friends in the app. I have already recommended it to lots of family members and friends. I’ve tried other step counting apps that promise to pay but they are just so unobtainable. With this app I’m actually seeing progress reaching goals and getting somewhere.

A waste of time.. This app is a waste of time. The gift card thresholds are too high and you aren’t earning enough points a day toward it. It should be for ever step you take, that counts as a ward point, not towards a certain step goal that gets you a small ward point. I thought having this app in the background would be a good thing, but it’s just a GIANT waste of time. If you don’t submit your steps then they don’t count towards your ward points, which is stupid. I’m already walking and using the app, why do I also have to convert my points? It should be automatically done. I’ve lost out on so much points and now have deleted this app. WILL NEVER use this trash app again.

Not worth it. This app is flawed on a single level. Who has time to dwell on an app to make sure they redeem their steps before midnight every day? Not most people. People with jobs on second or third shift aren’t being paid better by this app than by their employer so why would they risk losing a job and their families income to consistently be sure to log in “before midnight” to collect points. I love the concept but the execution is flawed. People have lives. a few cents over the course of days isn’t enough to ignore my fam and responsibilities. Good effort at something healthy though!

Takes forever to earn enough wards!. I downloaded this app about 6 weeks ago, and I only have 338 wards. You need 1,000 for a $10 reward, which is the lowest amount you can cash out with. I got 50 as a sign up bonus, but I usually only get a few each day. I generally walk 1k-3k steps a day, so you’d get more wards faster by walking over 5k, but I still don’t think it should take this long to get a reward. I’m not even halfway there! I spin the wheel with ads three times a day and often only get a ward or some cards. I still haven’t completed a card set. Unless you’re really active and patient, I would not recommend this app.

Rewards for purchasing from partners are not legit and the watch an ad and spin doesn’t work. I purchased in the app from two WeWard partners and they are both showing pending now for going on over a month. I’ve done the watch an ad and spin and it always lands on the same number 1 or 2 so I don’t believe it’s really rewarding more than that. The app does keep you accountable to walking daily though.

It’s accurate and not misleading at all. I have been trying for three months different Walking Apps. This app is one of the FEW apps that whatever they are offering “ cards , point) per the amount of steps it’s exactly what you are registered for the day. On the other hand, they offer different options for rewards and I received my cash ( yes , my option was cash) on time. Thanks for your business’s ethics.

Very good.. I downloaded Sweatcoin and Weward on the same day; Sweatcoin gets 1 star, Weward gets 5. The primary difference? Weward has options you can redeem your points for, like multiple gift cards and cash. Sweatcoin just has discounts. They do on occasion have a random gift card that is “sold out”, but what good goes that do you. Weward also has a better interface.

Walking with Purpose. I started using the WeWard app to turn my walks into something more rewarding while I work to stay healthy. It’s been a surprisingly motivating experience. I already walk a lot to manage stress, so earning rewards for something I’m already doing felt like a smart bonus. The app tracks my steps accurately and I often pass the time while walking with playing one of their many games to boost my awards.

Smells Like a Scam - I Almost Had Enough to Redeem Then They Changed the Minimum Redemption Cost. I previously spoke highly about this app in a review about a year ago and I was finally getting close to redeeming for the first time as I have 2,250 wards. However. I just checked the Redeem page and now they’re no longer showing the option to redeem $15 through PayPal for around 3,000 wards which seemed achievable. Now the minimum redemption amount through PayPal is all of a sudden 8,150 wards. 😡 I’m about to delete my account and delete the app for good. I vehemently hate applications that pull this type of scam.

Good but could be improved. I like almost everything about this app. The thing I have a problem with is earning cards on your walks. It would be better if it just kept track of where you went on a walk so you could claim your cards after. Even if you just made it into not claimable within the same day or within an hour or whatever. I’m waking my dog every day and can’t just have my app up the whole time.

Great app but…….. All in all this a great app! However, I am a little disappointed with how I have to carry my phone wherever I have to go when keeping myself busy and constantly moving cleaning my house and not going out as much walking even though I should. If I’m charging my phone and in the other room or moving about my home theres steps not being recorded for that day…To the developers: if there is anything you could do to change this then I will reconsider my decision here and up star votes on this app..thank you

Very disappointed. I had a very disappointing experience with the WeWard app. After placing an order and patiently waiting for four days, I decided to follow up, only to be told that I didn’t qualify for the reward. What’s worse is that I had already spent almost two months using the app, tracking steps, and collecting Wards—only to end up with nothing. The lack of clear communication and transparency about qualification requirements is frustrating. It feels like a waste of time and effort. I wouldn’t recommend this app if you’re looking for a reliable way to earn rewards. I placed the order for the gift card which is 2000, but i only got 1000 refund

Not what I expected. For someone who walks 17,000 steps a day and plays games, this is probably a decent way to make some points. However, for me, it is really hard to sometimes make it to earning six points a day. The app always raises the number of steps required to make points. And I’m not into playing games, so that’s not a way for me to earn any points. I’ve been doing this almost 2 months now and I have yet to get to 500 points. I also find the cards that you get totally useless. You have to watch these videos and instead of getting points you get these cards to add to collections that I’m totally not interested in. I will be deleting this as soon as I earn a reward.

Worst Walking App ever!. Been using it for about 2 months. And it takes so long to get the Wewards points I have now just to get a $25 gift card. Also I need 2,000 Wewards points to get the $25 gift card but my friend needs 3,000 Wewards points to only get a $15 gift card. That is a rip off!!!! Not worth it!!!! They are trying to find ways to where they don’t have to pay you in the rewards you want often. They want you to play the games and do surverys than actually walk. I will be deleting the app. I might as well find another app that will motivate me and not get rewarded.

Good app, but…. This is a pretty nice app that rewards you for walking. So far, I’m really enjoying it except for one thing…the We Cards I’m supposed to be able to collect, are all located on people’s private driveways! I live in a rural area, and so some places have very long driveways & private roads. On the map, they may look like roads, but they’re not! Given how crazy people can get, I don’t think I’m going to collect them. 🙁 If the programmers fix that issue, then I’ll upgrade my rating.

Nice app but the key aspect is horrible.. Have been using this app for a month now and massive massive frustrations with the step counter. I tried four times to hit the precision goal today but it is absolutely in vain. Why? The counter is never real time w the app open. Also the steps don’t update from those last converted after checking again a mile later. In order to meet these impossible goals the counter needs to be fixed. It is also very very stingy for having walked almost 7 miles today. Don’t like this at all. Always guess work.

meh. This app is ok. Of the rewards walking apps I’ve used so far, this is the 2nd best, but the bar is pretty low. If you don’t redeem at 11:59pm daily, you miss out on credit for any steps you’ve taken since the previous redeem. Dumb system. You should be able to bank at least the previous day’s steps, but better would be the full week. Whatever, it’s cool i guess. Too many links to outside offers for me. Not rewarding enough to use that frequently.

$15 Reward Disappeared. The app is okay, but I’ve been working towards the $15 worth 3,050 wards and suddenly within the past week it disappeared and is no longer available. This is not feasible for me to work towards $40 worth 8,150 wards. Seems like a pipe dream. Not to mention the moving goal posts. I get that it encourages you to keep up the pace but this only seems like a shell game when you move the attainable goals. Please put back in more attainable thresholds to cash out. Thank you.

Not worth it. It’s fun to turn in steps but the rewards aren’t worth it. I’ve had the app for almost a year and I still have less then 1,000 points. And I walk a LOT. If you want something that doesn’t take long and still gives great rewards get the Fetch app. You take a picture of any receipt and automatically get 25 points no matter the amount you paid. They also give bumps to points if you buy name brands or other things. Also have games for you to earn points with. You get points a lot faster for the same rewards. Love that app.

Best walking app !. This walking app is really good it has a lot of features and they don’t lie. But one issue is that you gain little wards every time but for me it makes me want to walk more. It also has charity project where you can give wards and bank payment. I’ve had tried other walking app but they were not that good I recommend this one!

The leveling needs work. When you level up your steps needed to achieve wards and complete challenges also goes up. The amount of steps needed seems to have no cap so a good day of steps only punishes your wards since from that day on you will need more steps to achieve anything. We are trading tracking and ad watching for pennies the least you can do is make it more friendly instead of punishing for the steps you walk. Having to walk hundreds of more steps to achieve the same amount of wards because you had a good day one day is anything but rewarding.

Not counting steps. So today I’m only 195 step from reaching my 5,000 step goal for today. I decided to walk around the house. I left the app open and walked 210 steps. My daily steps didn’t increase. So I closed the app thinking that may help and walked 220 more steps, in attempt to reach my goal. No steps were added to my daily goal. Edit: around 5-10 minutes later it updated so I will be giving it another star

Steps counter not update on real time. It has been couple of weeks since I have this problem. The step counter keep freezing up and stuck to the same step even after I reset, and closed the app. It took a few try for the steps to refresh. It affects me completing the daily challenges. It’s really frustrating. I was hoping the app would update and fix this issue soon.

Nice app. It's a nice app n all, but I wish it'd notify me to remind me to covert my steps into points. I have too much going on right now every day to remember to check it before 12am. If I had a notification even just 2 hrs prior, that'd be great. Update: I don't know if it was my phone or the app. But I do now get notifications to remind me to collect my steps. Amazing app overall!! Thank you!

Nice. This is a nice app, but I’m gonna tell you guys a scenario that can’t happen. Firstly, I could tape my phone to my dog and have my dog run on a treadmill for ever ever ever ever ever ever and then I will get a gazillion dollars and then this App might go bankrupt and then I can sue Apple for having such terrible software, and then I will call this app’s customer service and tell them about the problem and then they’ll try to resolve the issue, but they won’t be able to because they’re already bankrupt

Well that seems unfair. I was enjoying this app in a novelty way as in I enjoyed tracking my steps until the experience points update came in which is when I learned that all one simply needs to do is purchase points to win meaning the leaderboards are rigged for pay to win leaving someone like me who earns all my points and xp via running that is 100% demotivating so I lowered my 5 star rating to 2 and I’ll be deleting this app it was enjoyable for a while but when I see someone with a 500+ streak but they are at level 10 I’m sorry to say something is broken

Convert. I really don’t like having to log into the app to convert my steps. If you don’t manually convert the steps you simply miss out on the points. That is bogus considering app capabilities. I like many other people lead busy lives and do not live on their phones. Most times I go days without opening this or any other app that isn’t work or school related. Is it Really necessary that I have to set an alarm to access an app? I don’t think so, if this isn’t something the creator is willing to fix I can just uninstall, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who doesn’t plug into apps on a daily basis.

Another 5 star review for WeWard. Although I just got the app, it makes me want to go to new places I have never been to before. The app doesn't lie 🤥, and I have played so many apps that have lied 🤥 to me and it makes me happy 😊 that they aren't lieing 🤥 with the money and gift cards 💳 you can get. For me, I'm going to save up enough for Christmas whenever it comes around and get family and friends gifts 🎁. I hope you like the app just as much as I do! ◡̈⋆ⒽⒶⓅⓅⓎ😊

Glitches make it useless. I tried it for a week, then it froze up on its own. Nothing I did worked, and I was afraid uninstalling would make me lose my data. Two days later I finally hear back from support. I have to uninstall and reinstall. I did. Fortunately it saved my data but I lost my streak and tens of thousands of steps because I couldn’t convert anything while the app was frozen. But I’m back in business, right? Nope. Less than ten minutes later it freezes again. Good bye, app. I’m not uninstalling and reinstalling this thing every day.

Takes around 4 months of very active walking for $15. I walk about 11k steps a day, I log in and cash out every single night. I’m 35 days of walking 11k steps a day. I download every game and get 80 percent of the rewards from those, I’ve watched 300 plus videos. I am only 1/3 of the way to receiving my first reward which is the cheapest reward possible of $15. You have to be very very active, constantly do everything that comes up, watch every video once the app loads and it will take you roughly 100 days for $15 reward.

Where are the games?. I love that this app counts my steps, and I believe it’s pretty accurate, although I haven’t had it long enough to cash out. That being said, I was a little disappointed when I saw there were only 2 games to choose from, and one of them I’ve already played on a different app. Ok, I figured I’d at least play one of them. Nope. It says an error has occurred and the game is unavailable. What? I guess I don’t play games on this app. (It’s been a couple weeks, not just a temporary thing).

It’s okay. It was OK in the beginning, but sometimes when I end up working out and my watch, go data upload it to my data and it doesn’t convert it and it’s skipping out on my workouts. It won’t give me all the points that I deserve. It happens at least three times already. I might stop using this unless they can fix it. If it was a way, I could upload a picture. I’ll upload a couple of them for you to show you.

Fun, but glitchy. I am someone that is super motivated by competition, so in that sense this is a great app for me. The issue I have with it is that there are a lot of glitches. Multiple times now I’ve gone out of my way to go grab a “card” and I get to it and the app suddenly doesn’t work and says the system is down. Pretty frustrating when you’ve gone far out of your way to collect something and you can’t get it. I recommend it overall, but the constant issues with the “system” are super frustrating.

Seems like a good app. I’ve been using this app for a few months now I’ve been noticing a couple of things it does right before midnight. It’s hard to collect your wards you have to try a couple times to get it to work. Also, my Fitbit counts my steps and tonight it says I have 23,000 something and my WeWard app says I only have 6900 so that would be nice if my Fitbit or my Apple Watch. would link to it better so that they have matching numbers.

If it worked right. That would be a good app when it works. I just wanna be a good honest review. I read everyone else’s and obviously one that’s really telling the truth to me though ask Ben said that is a great app when it’s working your app do not account for every step you make my app been on the same steps for over an hour and I have my next app and my watch is at the same and I come back

Not what advertised. I had just recently downloaded this app in hopes it would work. I had went for a 2 hour long walk about 2 days ago, and came back. At around 11:50 I converted all 8,062 steps and got nothing. Nothing at all. I waited for a while. Thinking maybe it needed time, but nothing happened. Finally at midnight I converted my steps one last time and I still got nothing, it just restarted my steps. This app isn’t worth the download in my opinion. My times been wasted for yet another lying app.

Great, but I wish I could convert steps after midnight.. I got this app because I already walk miles for my work, its nice being able to earn something for all the walking and it’s fun to see how much I walk. My only issue is I get off work at midnight most nights so all the walking I do for the day can’t be converted to points. I’ve only had it for a couple weeks and I’ve already missed the cut off to convert over 50,000 steps. Still a really great app I just wish there was a way to do it after the day’s up.

Okay. I would give this app 5 stars if it were for the extreme inconsistency of logging steps in a timely manner. I have other step tracking apps that take a matter of seconds to update the step count. This app will take anywhere from 30 seconds to 20 MINUTES to update the counter which makes it literally impossible to meet a lot of the timed or set number of steps challenges. I am missed out on 100s of xp points because there is such a horrible delay and it doesn’t update until after the time frame expires or until it is way past the specific number of steps you were supposed to convert.

A complete let down.. I really bought into the hype, but soon realized the more you walk the more it starts to punish you to “push” you in the right direction. Set a number of steps to money ratio. I’m active all week but rest on the weekend. Missing a day with no streak freezes means you have to buy the day day back and gives you offers back to back to buy Jokers or streak freezes. I thought I was being given options. Instead they offered these things back to back and accidentally bought both. Good bye 2 weeks worth of points. Time to delete.

Doesn’t count steps correctly. I’ve been using this app for a few months now. When I open it it shows a step amount then instantly the steps are taken down to a smaller amount. For example it showed I had 4300 steps, then it when down to 2489. I’m constantly walking all day. I’m not sure why this app doesn’t t count your steps correctly. I feel like I’m missing out on multiple step goals every single day. Please fix this app.

Downloading games to earn points is a problem. Overall a nice app but to earn wards playing games you have to download games. More then half the apps I’ve downloaded they denied me. You get a message saying there was a problem or that you’ve previously downloaded this app already. None of these games are the type that I would’ve previously downloaded. This limits your potential to earn playing games so to me this is a big negative.

Don’t waste your time. This is my second review of this app. I left a really negative review before. The developer reached out to me, so I decided to give them another chance. That was my mistake. It took me 74 days to get enough points for a redemption. And I’ve been waiting 10 days for my gift card. There is literally no support in the app, despite the FAQ telling you to do things which are impossible. So I emailed them. I got a response back in French. Hooray. Just for comparison, I use another app for earning rewards for walking. In the same 74 day period, I earned $25 in gift cards AND I received them instantly. So in conclusion, don’t use this app. There are others that will actually reward you.

WeWard Motivates. This WeWard app has made me look forward to walking after being paralyzed from the hips down for almost a year! My Neurologist said keep moving and walk, walk, walk! ( I was misdiagnosed & prescribed the wrong medication from another doctor-I went blind, coded blue 💀, they quadrupled my night dose and tripled my day dose which made me paralyzed!) I feel better than I have in 3 years! I walked 2 miles yesterday!🙌🏻💗 🏃‍♀️

Great app, but takes forever to earn. I really enjoy the app, and it does motivate me to want to walk more. But, if you are an active person, the more you walk, you will earn less. If you are consistent, you will move up levels, which means you will have to walk more to earn the same amount. This is frustrating because it will take forever to actually earn any giveaways.

Extremely disappointed. Speaking of rewards, they are practically a scam. As you get closer to redeeming a reward, the points required suddenly become more expensive, making it almost impossible to claim anything promising. It feels like they’re intentionally making it harder to reach the goal just to keep you engaged without ever giving you a real reward. Overall, WeWard is a huge disappointment. I had high hopes for this app, but it has only left me angry and frustrated. Don’t even bother to download it. Save your time and look for a more reliable and honest alternative.

Needs improvement. I was excited to download this app based on the reviews. Even though it will take a long time to obtain rewards it’s good about keeping you in your toes. However it has some glitches. Twice I’ve converted my wards and gone in the next day to convert my new wards and received a message that says looks like you missed yesterday, when in fact I had and some points now were gone . There is no way to send a message or get of hold of anyone to look into this. Quite frustrating

Does motivate but not for money. I wish the devs would make collecting cards on walks automatic. Unless you are looking at the app while walking, you won’t know when you have arrived at the location of a card and won’t collect it unless you click on it when you are at its location. At least provide haptic feedback when you are at a card location. No one wants to walk and constantly look at an app and waste battery power.
