Pointless but why not. This app doesn’t do anything. No remote start so the air ventilation just cycles in cold or hot air from outside. The engine needs to be running for heating and cooling to work.

No Start Engine?. So this app is okay. It can do some cool things like ventilate the car when it’s super hot to cool it down and it can locate the car but I feel like it could do so much more. People have been waiting for YEARS for this car to come out again and the app should provide more options. The app could at least have a start engine option to start the car. Other car apps can do that and more. The car is AWSOME there should be an app to match that! 🖤❤️🖤

App COULD be great. I will start with the good - love the simplicity and ability to track my vehicle. The bad - The app developers really need to add additional functionality for us Supra owners to be more similar to Toyota’s app. A big plus would be integrate guest driver alerts and notifications for reckless driving, speeding, etc. especially for those who may lend or rent out their Supra. If the app developer reads this (BMW) please add in a guest alert functionality to get alerts from vehicle misuse and look at Toyota connect app to add additional functionality that will be helpful for us. Thanks.

Nice extra goodies. This app lets you send navigation locations directly to the onboard navigation on the car. You can also lock and unlock the car remotely. Great for if you forgot the key since your house or office, you can just unlock on your phone. My favorite feature is being able to locate the car at any time. To make sure service techs or anyone else isn’t taking you car for a joy ride. Toyota doesn’t owe anyone any of these features, so it’s a nice to have.

😐. Previous design of app was nicer. Controls take long to activate if when the signal goes through. The app is only really good for keeping updated with mileage on car.

Worse after update. After the update, I cannot view several of the readouts I was able to before the update. Specifically, fuel tank, mileage, etc. I even went through the trouble of removing and re-adding the vehicle from my Toyota ID and resetting the bluetooth connection to no avail. This app is now worse than useless.

Toyota, ADD START ENGINE FEATURE!!. Cmon already, it’s 2020 and this car being automatic should be equipped with this feature!

It wasn’t great before. It wasn’t a great app before , just because it really didn’t do much. But what it did, it did. Since the update some of those things no longer work. I think they’re going backwards.

Great Idea but.... I love the car but felt disappointed with the app. While the app has some useful features, I feel the app should have more. Remote start is missing. Sending information to the car like unlocking, locking, and sounding an alarm is a bit slow. It should be within seconds. The app also doesn’t show you whether the car is indeed locked or unlocked. I would like to nickname my car within the app. That would be a nice touch. What I do like is that the image of the car shows the exact color. For a car that cost nearly $60K, I expected more for the companion app. Fix these issues and this app would be Supra! I mean super. 3 stars for now. Will update as the app evolves.

Map never loads. On the vehicle locater - the map never actually loads and just shows a black screen. Seems like a lot of people have this issue and there’s no way to report the bug. Would like an update to fix but it seems like the issue is being ignored.

Hmm. Not auto start and we need a watch app like yesterday

Idea Is Great, But Poorly Executed. I love the app, but half the time it doesn’t work, you can’t rely on it to lock or unlock your Supra. Half the time it fails, the rest of the time you’re standing there for 10 minutes. In fact if you’re trying to use the remote services you might as well forget it. Tracking is also subpar, I get Toyota isn’t an app developer but I expected more for the price point.

Maps are broken. Just got my Supra less than a month ago. The map feature has been blank ever since. Seems like a known issue among owners….

Definitely a downgrade. I used to be able to tell how much fuel was left in the car on the app and how much mileage was on the vehicle. This no longer works. Plus the app no longer looks as good as it used to.

Garbage. Complete garbage! New update made it even worse, it won’t connect to the car now and I can’t see my mileage or fuel etc. Won’t connect to the car to update it all.

almost a useless app. app doesn’t work 90% of the time. again, app doesn’t work 90% of the time. why.. how is this even allowed? has promising features, but i find it a letdown there isn’t a remote start feature, like other B58 cars do. any command takes more than two minutes for the car to register, rendering its features close to useless.

Garbage. This app is garbage. Almost $80k car and App is absolute horse dung. Seriously, get a development team that can actually do the job. You build great engines, how about build a great app?

No car yet, but this looks cool.... Waiting for my Supra delivery in the states, fortunately I have this app to hold me over until my car arrives.... Too bad the app doesn’t provide demos of its capabilities without a VIN #

Great app but needs work. It’s a great app but the lock/ unlock takes way too long, i could have walked back in to my house grabbed my keys, walked back to the car and unlocked it by the time it actually unlocked with my phone. Please work on making it be within seconds and not minutes in case of emergencies.

Doesn’t work. The app doesn’t log in and keeps saying it can not get the terms and conditions…

So bad for a luxury car app. I paid $75,000 for my Supra and the app does not match. It’s not really functional as any action takes over 40 seconds - 1 minute to perform. By the time it loads a request I’ve gone home. At least allow the Supra to connect to the normal Toyota app. Something weird is going on none of it makes sense. Really Embarrassing for Supra owners.

WTH did you do to the connectivity of the app?. Before the app would switch seamlessly between apple car play / Bluetooth / Supra connect. Now I have to manually switch inside the vehicle if I want to stay connected when outside the vehicle. Can’t locate vehicle unless I exit the vehicle with car play disconnected This is totally useless now . Garbage .

Stopped working. Where are the devs? Do they even test their own app? This stopped working a few updates ago. Granted it wasn’t that great before, now it’s just completely useless

Still stuck in confirmation in process. Toyota or BMW please help and finish the handshake between your servers so I can use the App.

Lol no.. This is probably the worst app I’ve ever seen. You would think with a 60k car that they would at least give you something more polished with useful features. I get that the car isn’t a luxury car, but why even try at this point? Might as well have left this in the idea bin.

Supra Connect? To what?. Other than providing me data like Fuel/Miles remaining, along with Miles driven, this useless App does nothing! Super aggravating! No other features work! How about the App developer reach out to me? Do you care? The C8 Vette App will work better I bet and, what’s another lost Customer.......

Can’t even add the car without crashing. Absolutely awful app. Can’t add the Supra because the app simply crashes every time I verify the VIN. 4-year trial of a garbage product.

Supra connect review. Happy with the Supra connect app. Would suggest this to all of my friends. Useful information about the car such as, the vin number, mileage, and fuel level are displayed clearly. I also like the very user friendly map included with the app.

New update doesn’t work. Update doesn’t work needs to be fix I’ve tried disconnecting every uninstalling even resetting everything and it stills does not work

Almost worthless.... All the effort to set up the app only to find out how useless it is. Ventilating in advance is cool but by the time my car registers the command and starts to ventilate I’ve already gotten into my car... Takes WAY too long and is essentially a useless feature. The other features I’ve no use for. The only possible way to redeem this app and make it at all worthwhile is if there is a remote engine start feature, which would be very useful in many ways. Get it together BMW, I mean Toyota 🤦🏻‍♂️

Unable to get even basic functionality to work.. I hope the vehicle is more reliable than your app. Absolutely terrible app. Nothing of value to be gained by providing BMW with your personal information... literally the worst app I’ve ever used.

It’s a joke. This app is a joke. I’ve waited for 30+ years for this car. The car lot that sold me the car, was like the Supra connect app is awesome. You can do so much with it. 1st question out of my mouth to the finance guy was...... will it start your car? Lol he was like well, they are working on that! Come on someone....Toyota you guys need to do better. I’ve been a very loyal customer. Times are changing. Let’s go!!!

New update made it worse. The app is now a lot slower, takes forever to communicate and send commands to the car. Takes forever to locate car. Is not updating fuel and range any more. Plz address these issues ASAP, or at least revert back to the old App. This is very frustrating, fix this ASAP.

Stillborn App. I was excited to learn that my shiny new Supra could be controlled remotely with an app on my iPhone. However after repeatedly trying to pair the car to this app with my phone or by using using my desktop computer I get no joy. Calls to the Supra help line got the lame response “ We know there is A problem and we are looking into it.” The person on the other end of the line had no clue when or if the app would be debugged.

Complete garbage. The latest updates ruined the app. My phone never connects to my car anymore. No longer displays accurate, up to date information. I wish I could give this review less than 1 star!

V4.3.1 Map loads correctly. Map is fixed. Mileage & fuel readings need to sync sooner, closer to real time. App itself is pretty basic, but connected services need feature and performance enhancements to make it really useful.

Please update. I really disappointed on this app. Even it is similar as the BMW one, and also use the same account to log in, the app doesn’t work many times. It cannot reflect the real time information of the car, and very slow to locate the car. Please update!

Not good at all. It takes too long to take actions. Can’t start the engine. They need to rethink. I used to use the one for my XSE Toyota Camry. It was great.

Wow lol and still no updates to fix.. All this negative hype on this ap.... legitimate negative too... the ap idea is cool. But like many others have said.... whats the point in it? Especially no engine start!? Ventilate is cool sure... but clicking on schedule ventilate only closes the ap....thank goodness its not a paid ap.

Was ok but new update made it useless!!. Since the update the app never connects to the car as it use to.

Buggy and severely limited features. Latest release crashes on scheduled ventilation, even after removing and reloading/setting up the app. Mileage update often behind couple of trips. Overall looks like a severely clipped version of the BMW app.

Remote start. My only criticism would be the app doesn’t offer remote start.

Fix this now. So the app didn’t let me login so I did get to rate it. I’m mad bc my dream car is supras so I’m pretty mad. Thanks

Great options for Toyota Supra. Haven’t really got the chance to really experience the app for all the other features but from the looks of the app it seems it’s really secure if your scared about it getting hacked I personally think it’s great for security 😍

The app isn’t updating car info.. The app is not showing fuel level and car mileage.

Garbage, how hard is it to make an app work properly.. Won’t even find my vin, won’t connect when I plug the phone in while in the car, disappointed.

No Remote Start capabilities. For a car like a Supra I 100% expected a connected app to have remote start functionality. Toyota and BMW both offer remote start on their cars, so they have no excuse not to offer it for the Supra. This app is useless without it…

No vehicle unlock feature. Remote operations for lock, headlights and horn are operational. NO UNLOCK feature to be found. Hope the app developers will remedy this soon!

Doesn’t work. Recently purchased a 2026, and through weeks of trying and every error code imaginable, it still won’t connect to the car. Sometimes it won’t validate the VIN, sometimes it won’t even load past the login screen, sometimes it just says “an error has occurred” when I try to connect to the app. Seems to have settled on a constant inability to establish a network connection no matter the circumstance, even if I uninstall > hard reset phone > reinstall the app. If you decline its request to use “bmw USA” to login (even without any bmw apps on the phone, and I’m in Canada) the app will crash without opening until you uninstall > reinstall.

Not loading. I was able to create my account and link my supra, however when I open the app it request my on, and then goes to a white / grey screen and never loads past that. The app is unusable for any of the features due to this load issue.

Supra connect. The new update sucks it tells me my car is locked I got the signal I went downstairs my car is unlocked doesn’t tell me the fuel doesn’t tell me the mileage it did all that before the stupid upgrade it sucks now I can’t even trust my car is locked overnight it’s all going to see it physically

Map view does not work. Recently got a Supra, so this is first version of App I have used. The Map is a black screen with either street or Sat view

Works as intended. Buttons work as intended, just need to make up a numbered USA postal code for signing up in Canada. Otherwise everything else works!

App not loading. The app used to work a couple days ago, however now when i sign in i get stuck on some grey screen. Sign out sign in did not fix it. Same with deleting the app. Toyota or BMW needs to fix this asap. I didn’t spend 70k on a car for the app not to work. This is unacceptable, luckily i have other trackers in the car but the app was a good tool to have.

Broken. The map is broken since the last update. Shows up completely black no matter which layer is chosen.

Not great for Canadian owners. No way to change the measurement units from Imperial to Metric. Registration process doesn’t allow for input of Canadian provinces.

Some features are great, but the app needs a fix. The remote features are great - I can send commands to the car (lock/unlock doors, turn on the ventilation before getting into the car) but the app will not update my car’s information. It won’t let me connect the app to the car if I have my phone connected to CarPlay. I have to pick either no CarPlay and the app will connect to the car and update its information, or use CarPlay and forget the app. If I want to switch, I have to delete my phone from the head unit, then add it again… every time. It would be a 5 star review if the all app features worked while my phone was setup for CarPlay in the Supra.

This App Could be Great If…. Toyota and BMW would pick who is truly in charge. With the recent update as of July 2021, the app has gone from somewhat useful to useless. Before you were able to see your mileage and gas now it just shows you need to connect your phone to Apple CarPlay which is. I notice the screen showing this is from Toyota’s Connected Services app. I assume they are probably working on a transition. For those having issues getting the app to work to begin with. Your dealer needs to get you your Navigation code. This process requires them to contact BMW in German. BMW will then email the dealer the file to upload on a flash drive and then to your vehicle. After that this app works (hypothetically) once this is complete. Dealers do not do this download initially during the PDI (pre-delivery inspection) due to the vehicle needing an owner to register the code to and Supra connect to.

Need to fix app. App works but can’t track the car. Says I have no internet connection but I am connected to the internet. This happened on both iPhone and Android.

Never registers. Day 30. Still no registration confirmation. Says it will be a couple hours.

Trash. This app is garbage i bought my car in December is March and still hasn’t confirmed my vehicle .

Hoping for Support. This app was useful in the beginning. It’s only flaw was that it never seemed to connect with the car when the car was in a garage after the most recent update. Every time I open the app it insists on redirecting me to bmwusa.com where I’m told I have to reset my password. this starts an infinite loop of resetting my password and being redirected and resetting again, please help.

MAP MISSING. Loved the app until the MAP disappeared! Please fix it as it’s the main feature of the app. Double checked on several Supra forums and can confirm the problem is on both Apple and Android products.

Doesnt register my supra!. I attempted to register my supra in the app and after a week it still hasn’t confirmed my car!! Fix the app!!

VIN 404. No success with the app recognizing my VIN. Contacted a local Toyota deal ship for aid, and they don’t know how to identify the problem.

Cant even login. The app immediately takes me to an embedded login page to proceed on bmwusa.com, which states I must enable cookies to continue. There’s no way to enable cookie settings within as it’s an embedded page. Completely useless as-is

No Remote Start?!. The app seems to have some useful information, but lacks remote start. My $30k F-150 has a Ford Pass app with remote start! Come on! This is a $58k car.
