LIKELY FRAUD. People behind this are likely frauds. I received an email that I purchased an item on PayPal but it was not showing up on any of my accounts. They wanted me to download this app and look at my phone. Overall it was fishy so I discontinued and deleted the app.

Be aware. This app is routinely used by Indian scammers claiming to be from Apple support. It may have legitimate uses, but if someone calls you from Apple Support and ask you to download this app- then don’t go for their scam! Don’t use this app!

Hackers. This is not a legitimate site!!!! They are trying to get your money and information only!!!!!

Scam. But the app does work well.. Pretty sure scammers are using this app to get into your chase bank accounts. Be careful. App does seem to work well however.

Valuable Support Tool. This app is used by many reputable companies to provide quality support. But only use it with someone you trust. The negative reviews are from people who were tricked into using the app by scammers. When used by a reputable company, this app is one of the best ones out there for remote support.

Scammers at work. Do not download this app if asked to do this with any customer service. It’s a scam. Do not give out information. Apple will never ask for your banking info or anything personal.

Scam!!!!. Do not download this! An 800 number called me saying my Apple account was being hacked overseas. Told me to press one to speak to a rep. When the rep got on the phone he told me to download this app and then check my settings. It wasn’t until he said to check my bank account to see if there were any unauthorized transactions. So I went to check on a different device because something seemed off and he was yelling at me to look at my bank account through my phone. I asked why he was yelling at me and he goes if you don’t believe me then hang up. So I did. I right away called Apple and they said they never send calls , texts , or emails like that. Luckily he checked everything and since I didn’t provide him with any info I was safe.

SCAM do not download!. This is a scam and if “customer service” says to download do not do it!

TOTAL SCAM...HANG UP IMMEDIATELY. Received call claiming they were Apple and I had a security breach on my iCloud account. With an Indian accent, she asked me if I knew anyone in Dallas. Told me to download this app. I asked her how I new this was apple calling me. She gave some lengthy technical explanation. I read one review told her this was a scam and that she was going to ask money from me. She quickly hung up...

Definitely a scam. If the person asking you to download this app called you directly claiming to be Apple Support without you requesting a call, HANG UP NOW. Apple will never call you first. I point blank asked “John” about the reviews claiming this app to be a scam. It got to the point of him asking me to purchase two google play cards in the amount of $100 each. Why would an Apple Support ask me to purchase google cards? Total scam. Be careful.

Used in my company. I use this within my company to help support iOS devices. With it, I can view the screen of the user to help alert them where they should go. This is used with the service GoToAssist I have to help support my end users. I see a lot of reviews about scams, but this app itself is not a scam; however, the app could be used by scammers paying for a subscription; so definitely only use if you know the other party. This goes for any other apps as well, though.

Beware of Scams. Some Indian guy called me claiming to be Apple support and scammed me by using this app. Do not continue the call unless you prompted Apple to contact you beforehand.

SCAMMERS!!!. I read the previous review as I was following the direction of the “agent from Apple”. When he started talking about the “hackers” getting into my bank account for $200, EXACTLY like the review said, and I started telling him off, CLICK - he disconnected the phone call!! 😡

Do NOT download.. I just received an unknown phone call and was connected to a “customer service agent” from a foreign country. They tried telling me they had located suspicious activity on my Apple account, and they wanted me to download this app so they could block the person getting into my account. The agent kept interrupting me, and was overall very suspicious. As soon as a read the reviews while I was on the phone with him I flat out told him “I’m reading here this is a scamming app” he simply said “no worries ma’am” and immediately hung up on me. I almost downloaded it to, but stopped it. Unless your Apple device notifies you personally ain’t no way the Apple company gonna contact you, and to download all all that gives someone unrestricted access to your devices personal info. DON’T DOWNLOAD PLEASE! I just hope they can’t do anymore since they have my number… I did block them though.

SCAM ALERT!!!!!. Got a call saying they were from Apple and someone was using my Apple ID to launder money (my caller I’d said it was a local number, the speaker had an Indian accent). They wanted me to go to my computer, when I said no I’ll use my phone, they wanted me to download this app. THANK YOU OTHER REVIEWER!!!

Honest support. I downloaded and used this app with Sonos Customer Support and it worked great. After the customer support team was finished they specifically told me to disconnect and delete the app. So on the reviews this app is good if YOU and ONLY YOU contacted a reputable company for customer support, if a company contacts you then don’t install it. I would not have gotten my equipment fixed had it not been for this app.

Great App, Stupid People. To everyone giving this app 1 star. It is not the apps nor the developers fault that you got scammed into installing this and allowing some to access your phone. On that note. The app works great I am able to direct my customers to install and get assistance on their iPhones. Really helps when a user is having a outlook issue or one drive issue.

Hacker App. Once you download this and let someone into your phone, you will have to hard/factory reset your phone to get them out. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. It put a key logger on your phone. Someone will be able to track EVERYTHING in your phone.

This is a scam. Some male with a funny accent had me download this app and long story short he took $1100 from my bank account linked it to coin base my bank account and PayPal . Luckily I caught it in time and was able to fix it thru bank and PayPal . I’m still scared cause I had to go thru a verification process with coin base and he saw my info on his screen including my husbands driver license . And I hope they don’t do anything else with it . No matter who it is do not download this app . I really hope a lot of people read these reviews so they don’t go through any fraud or scams

This tool is used for hackers and phishing scams!. They called and said they were from apple and there had been a security breach on my iPhone, they had me download this app so they could screen record as they directed me through signing in my Apple ID etc and then wanted me to check all of my financial accounts. This was a red flag. I clicked on cash app and immediately closed out and told them my records were secure, they said well you only opened cash app and I said your only screen recording to steal my info and they hung up on me!! I don’t know why it says one star! Apple needs to remove this app! How do you report it????

Scam. I was contacted by an 800 number asking me to download this app. Luckily I saw the other reviews and the furthest I got was downloading the app. Thanks for the heads up in the reviews.

Remote session is only for viewing?. What kind of support app only allows broadcasting? The agent cannot control iPhones? Is there a way to enable or a workaround to enable GoToAssist remote support with remote controls, and not just broadcasting for iPhone?

A BIG SCAM HANG UP. I received a call from them saying my I cloud was being hacked and they were trying to fix it , they had me download this app to look at my phone with me and them had me open my bank account , he then came back to the phone and asked me do I want a job part time I said no I’m not interested he said okay and ask can he put me on hold to talk to his supervisor, then proceeded to ask me to open up my camera so they can take a picture of my face and then put me on hold again came back and said bye now , I told them I was confused he said “ I see your account was negative “ you don’t have 200 dollars to keep the hackers away from your I cloud we will try to call back when you get paid to pay for it . I told them no I’m not paying them any money and he said okay bye TOTAL SCAMMERS .

Big scammers. Don’t trust them hang up immediately. They want to look at your bank accounts and your cash application. It’s a fraud. I hung up on them.

I was also scammed with them using this app.. The app is great itself. But also wanted to share that it’s being used by scammers! Be extra careful and know who you are talking to only.

Do not use scammers are using app to see your phone. My wife google reset yahoo password and called the first number that came up. They asked her to download this app and put in bank info while they watched. They said that they needed to verify a transaction for about a dollar to make sure it was her. She then got a text from the bank that wanted to know if she approved a transaction for 500 some dollars. They told her to type yes and that was normal. She did not feel right so she typed no and they said then we can not help you and hung up. He debit card was canceled once she said no. So they did not get any money. Just remember always go to the website or app you need help with and look for the number there. Never google for a number when you need help with something digital.

SCAM!!. THIS is a scam! Apple needs to remove this app from the app store. They will talk endlessly convincing you that your data has been compromised. I feel so stupid for being duped. But it doesn’t help that they use Apple’s own legitimate website to perpetrate the fraud.

True app review. This is a tool like any other that can be used for good or bad reasons, as the developer says in the first line. Only use with people you know you can trust. Being an IT professional for more than 25 years. I can tell you I have used this tool to help others out of some bad PC issues. There was a time people had to pay triple for PC services than what I can provide remotely today and, in many cases, can get same day service. So please judge the tool and not the operator behind the tool. I like my customers' ease of connecting to me and assisting all my clients' mobile/tablets, PCS, and mac devices, even during off-hours with unattended access. For legal reasons, I can provide full session recordings of my operations if there is a concern with unattended abuse.

Hacker alert!!!. This is used by hackers! Do not allow anyone via phone call have you click this app. They use it to view your screen as you login to your bank account. They will get all your information to include passwords. I almost found out the hard way. I hope this helps you.

Total Scam. Do not download this app to your iPhone. Scammers are using it to access your phone and all your accounts. Have had everything compromised because I got caught off guard. Changing everything I have, reporting the fraud, and they’re still accessing my accounts. Have been to the police and going back today. Now they’re putting charges through for the app on my credit card! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE Where is this developer that they feel no responsibility? Apple needs to get rid of this app. I removed and deleted but it’s still sitting in the cloud on my phone. I’m at my wits end!!!!!!

Just got scammed - almost. Got a call from “Amazon” about a bogus charge from Ohio. I’m not in Ohio. Can’t believe I fell for it. I’m so wary - I get calls like this all day 5-10 minimum. The guy told me to download this app so he could fix my “Hacker” problem. I deleted the app immediately once I caught on. Changed my bank info, canceled my card, changed my password for Amazon. I know better. But I’m very stressed out having neighbors needing CPR outside my window (he died) and others being taken away by ambulance. Sirens all day. I’m in a 55+ community. Besieged by scam calls. Just thoughts I’d let you know. I’d like advice on what data this person has of mine. Maybe a forewarning would help. Thank you.
