Doesn’t work in IPad. It doesn’t work in iPadOS, it crash every time I open it.

Crappy app. Doesn’t work on 14.6 & iPh12. Their web is same sht like this app. Even when was working before - crappy env, confusing display (graphs etc).

Logs me out evrytime. Every time I try to see my info I have to log in again n again. Even I have enabled remember me option.

QR Code error. I am getting SN or Checkcode is Incorrect on scanning the qr code on the side of the inverter. Please advise.

Works well but upgrade not crashes on iphone 11. On the upgrade to .20 it crashes on iphone ios 16.5

Functional but dreadfully awkward interface. I can never understand why useful versions of software are replaced by nearly unusable ‘upgrades’. Such is the case here. The previous version was designed well and navigation to find data on kWh outputs for various time scales, was easy. The new version occasionally permits me to get the view I want, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this easily and repeatedly. It’s a total interface fail for me.

Works half the time. Loads and works half the time. Some things are also not translated or translated incorrectly.

Crashes upon launch. Since the last update the app crashes right after I launch it. Seems like testing before a release not is the norm.

No worky. Crashes immediately.

Needs more functionality. Lacks the ability to set the work mode of the inverter eg general or backup. Can not see the emergency circuit.

Limited functionality. Would be nice to set real buy and sell price. Also on and off peak. Reporting limited. Calc for amount earned is useless.

Rubbish App. Doesn’t display or calculate data values correctly. Doesn’t show how much solar is actually available in real time. I have also developed apps ……not hard to change. Would not recommend to anyone I know.

New app is missing days from the power chart. You can find out today's solar generation from a sub setting. But the power generated bar chart is missing today and previous days values. Other user has the same comment fundamental bug that needs fixing.

Glitchy and clunky. This app is very clunky to use. Sometimes it doesn’t seem to work at all. It won’t allow two logins (ie so the two adults in the house can login on different devices). Would love a function where data can be exported into a CSV file or similar.

Landscape mode is trash. This app worked OK, not great, just OK when we first had solar earlier this year, but at some time since I cannot now use the landscape mode to go back and see how much was generated on a particular day. The interface is very buggy, hoping for a drastically improved next version!

To force   ‌​     . It’s great to see the development of this app. It updated several times but for me personally, it is the best version now!‍ ‌

Not to bad. Little difficult to negotiate time zones need fixing for countries Western Australian time different to Easter Australian time comes up Australian time all the same can differ 2-3hours depending on daylight saving. Complicated to negotiate for the layman. Needs more simplifying.

App failing to stay open after latest update. App won’t stay open , keeps closing following the latest update and customer support website not certified to enable me to securely get support.

Poor Security. The wifi interface is not secure on Goodwe Inverters. If you are setting this up, make sure you put the inverter wifi interface it on it’s own VLAN, wifi network and if your router allows put it on a guest network. The interface stores and transmits your wifi SSID and password in clear text. Also change the default internal AP SSID and password, this will prevent nearby hackers fro m gaining access to your network. You have to remember that these inverters are produced in China where network privacy is almost non-existent and their government likes it that way.

Nice app but needs constant maintenance. The app has been crashing on my iPhone 12 Pro for more than a month now but still no sign of fixing it. It was working for 10 months and now it is crashing when I open it. Needs attention as it doesn’t help me to understand my solar energy consumption.

No longer works. This app worked for about a year, but after a recent update will not let me access the account that I can access through the web portal

Goodwe (GW2000-ns) PV Master app. Wi-fi config works ok, but trouble with wi-fi diagnostics as keeps failing “inverter to router” Comms test. App does actually create comms between inverter and router, because if incorrect wi-fi password is imputed, yellow power light on inverter (GW2000-ns) blinks. Also overview not showing status readings. Keeps saying inverter software version older than app ?

App now saying Offline after last update. Since the last App update my app is showing Offline, what the heck, can you fix please!!! Also tried going to support page but it states that your website Certificate expired 500 days ago and possibly hacked, what the heck is happening, i will uninstall this app as not reliable, who is running this show??

For this day and age, so very basic. I was expecting an app that at a minimum, showed figures for power generated; power consumed onsite; and power fed back to the grid. These are the most foundational numbers that anyone with a solar installation is likely to want. Unfortunately the app only provides numbers for the first item (power generated) - plus a fairly crude calculation as a multiple of cents per kWh. Other improvements that could be made: 1) There is no way to view in real-time the power being generated except to close and reopen the app. 2) While viewing the graph in landscape you can’t drag the grid pointer without scrolling the day forwards/backwards.

Doesn't notify errors. This app doesn't notify you at all when weeors occur even though your have messages and notifications etc turned on So I've had tonnes when inverter tripped fuse and didn't know I had no solar running for 3 days

Very poor interface. Very disappointing! Slow and dull interface with very little custom view possible. Even if you change the date, it will still show today’s generation. No dynamic features. Just better than nothing.

Rubbish but the only option. Today I checked the generation and income figures. Generated 12 kw and earned $183!!! Great 12 times $.03 = $183. When I pointed out this apparently obvious arithmetic error using the “help” function of the app the customer service person who received my query passed it on to a technical person who described my email as spam and to ignore it. Consequently a year later the same error continues As thanks for pointing out the error I received several messages a day saying my email had been received and would be actioned I received the same message over 30 times until they simply canceled the query As a result all other functions of the app must also be suspect. But there’s no other choice

Impossible to set up app on phone!. Had system installed yesterday. Spent hours and hours trying to get portal to communicate with inverter. Although light on inverter static, portal is always off line. Originally a note telling me the inverted didn’t like some characters in my network name or password. So I changed password on my wifi and no longer get that message, but still will not communicate. And no help available at all. Boy am I annoyed!

Time zones wrong. Started out fine and provides some basic info. Don’t know why but for some reason the date has changed to American format and the time zone is now set to Australian Eastern time but I’m in WA.

Does an alright job. The app itself works well most of the times, but can be quite clunky from time to time. The tree planting counter is pretty useless in my opinion. How many trees have been planted where? What sort of trees? Will the live in symbiosis where they have been planted? How much CO2 has been created in the process of planting those trees? Questions over questions… seriously though, remove the counter.

Problems opening the app. The app is been working for a year now. Just from today, it won’t open , it closes by itself. Any help of what to do?

Avoid if possible. If the aim is to be able to manage your solar and electricity use based on generation then avoid this app. Everyday it only shows what was generated the day before, and shows the current day as zero. You can’t see what you are using versus what you generate. The day and month views are also usually wrong. Get your panels from a distributor with a decent app.

Pretty basic. Does a good job of showing your solar power produced. Thats about all it can do properly. The app claims to track how much income you earn based on a rate that you enter. This is useless as the app doesn’t know how much energy you use and how much is left over going back into the grid. It only does the income calculation based on your total power production.

App update fail. The latest update has introduced yet another bug. Now I can see my home in the “Plants” screen along with the amount of energy it’s generated today. But when I click through to it the screen shows no info so I can’t see any data for today or historical data. This app was already poorly designed. Now it just doesn’t work (again). Please properly test your updates and invest in some UX design improvements.

Shows live production - Not so good in statistics. My inverter is great quality for the price and handles the 3 MPPs perfectly. The app is not bad - shows the production (updated around every minute) in real time and gives me a good idea what the system does at certain times. The statistics within the app leave much room for improvement. You get an idea what your system produces but nothing more. To analyze the data you need a bit more. Landscape worked before but is now broken since the latest update. Can integrate my inverter in Homeassistant and it gives me more data. Update: 9 months later and there is not much change or improvement. Still works fine but would wish the dev would take the App a bit more serious and improve it.

Very convenient‍​ ​‍. It’s an amazing experience with GoodWe. It has excellent team of sale and customer service！！！ ​   

Updated App - Still crashes. Have not been able to use the app for months, finally they release an update and guess what.. crashes on start up still

Poor app design. So new system got booted up today. No worries. Used the old app as described in the operations manual. Installed, set up WiFi and added inverter. Was a fair effort to navigate as the info on the paperwork didn’t match the app design. Logged out and logged back in to see a message about new app and when it rolls over etc. ok. Loaded that onto the phone, went through the setup. But now the inverter is assigned to a profile on the previous app it won’t accept me adding it again. It’s brought across what I initially loaded, however it’s not recording any data, nor acknowledging its online. Rebooted the WiFi modem on the inverter and still be connection. Buggy app system and rather disappointing. I wanted to see my 30kv generation logged for today. Feedback welcomed on how to resolve this issue.

Not bad. Its pretty good, but would like a more aesthetically pleasing look. We split our solar panels into 2 groups of 5, would be nice to show a graphic of both and see which group is producing what.

App difference. I like the app but how come my screen is not the same as the Home Screen on the app. Does not show the amount used by me during ggf. Day as your app

My Portal App Won’t Open. When I go to open the app it just closes. Last time I checked it (month or so ago) it worked fine but now won’t even open, has something changed? Have the latest App so now very disappointed 😟

Close to Great. I have seen reviews about the old App and really wonder what I was missing because this one is almost perfect. Daily, Monthly and total figures produced. Can set my own ‘Income.’ Check on my inverter anywhere I have internet. The only downside is after 2.5 months the App wouldn’t open. Simply deleted and re-installed. Then it opened fine, just had to login- all my production numbers were still there. Those wanting ‘own usage’ numbers for the system should have gotten a different inverter with an extra $800 meter. That is not a reflection of the App, just the hardware. LOVE this App!

1 day in so let see. So far so good Not a huge fan of the layout and how small the current generation. Would like to see it more prominent like web page in future updates. Graphs are pretty good. Dollar amount defaults to USD price. Would like to change it to AUD. Also the photo of system. Should be an edit option.

Useful app to track solar. Very useful for seeing solar power generation. Would really like a dark mode to be added.

Dates missing. Two days now I have gone to view my usage and feed in tariff for electricity and the date for yesterday is missing. Yesterday I just reopened the app from the App Store but today 6th February is missing. Such a simple piece of data and someone has messed it up in their programming.

Buggy app. I like my goodwe inverter. I would not buy another one due to the state of the app. I can't specify dates for use / generation. Today vs total load consumption doesn't work if you have a power monitor. Profit ratio is a bad way to recorded generation profit. Let me specify my use charge in kW/h and my generation $/kW/h. Come on guys, sort out the app or give us an alternative

Works Great. Took about 2 minutes to setup, works great shows me exactly what I need to know. Nice simple, clear interface. Not sure what the bad reviews are about, I suspect it is user error or network issues causing their problems.

Solar check. This app tells me how much power the unit is making shows a graph as the day progresses and the total power generation for the day month etc every thing I want to know 😊

Time Zone problems. Started out fine, when system was installed and started using the app.... has now been stuck in Eastern Australian time which can be 3-4 hours different from Western Australia 🤨🤨 and no way of changing it

Limitations. Needs a function in order to calculate how much was generated over a period of time not limited to 7 days as per the website. Preferably be able to calculate to compare to bills

Even more buggy with the latest update. 1. The daily generation data now misses even more days than previous version. The previous version sometimes missed previous day data and would recover the next day. But now it is missing up to 4 previous day’s data and so far have not recovered. 2. The bottom part of the GoodWe page is truncated now on iPad. 3. The unit for daily & total generation are now changed to Celsius, not kWh, in the GoodWe page.

Deficient app. Just a few minor improvements in utilization could make this app so much better. Currently it is substandard and doesn’t get so much as the timeline on the graph correct. Also it logged 11 days and a further 3 days has passed and it hasn’t logged anything more. It also gives other currencies to select but will only read as GBP which is useless to me in Australia, although AUD is listed to be selected. It’s a frustrating app which is next to useless, I expected a much more refined app given the time this technology has been available. I can not recommend this app or the solar unit that has been installed until this app is improved. Very disappointed. I will be happy to retract my review and update my star rating if the app improves as far as and beyond what I have stated.

Usable but more work needed. Initially had a lot of trouble setting up the app with my inverter. But it’s proven reliable once that’s done. I would work at improving onboarding and simplifying the terminology.

Okay, no comment       . As a customer who bought both GW and Tesla, I would recommend you guys GW. Trust me, they are the best in this field!  ‌  

So many issues....again. New app and took ages to reinstall inverter. Always saying inverter was assigned to other system. Had to call supplier, with no response after leaving message. Installer chased up eventually and had to use a different log in. Now trying to update to AUD for profit ratio, but have to update all sections before submitting, but app doesn’t allow me to use ‘Map’ function. Always frustrating. No improvement to previous app. Disappointed.

Meh. It’s clear that whoever designed the app doesn’t own solar....why not allow flexibility with the stats? I would like to know how many kWh have been generated over a two month period that matches my electricity bill (obviously). I don’t need to know the total MWH generated or how many hypothetical trees I’ve planted. Also, Western Australia is introducing a scheme where at different times of the day earn a different rebate, the app doesn’t allow this flexibility either. These are REALLY simple things to add to an app such as this. Literally just excel equations....either fire the guys your currently using for app development or tell them to do their job.
