VERY creepy.. don’t you think that your kids (especially teenagers) deserve privacy? this is even worse than stalking! in my opinion, knowing where your kids are alright, however, being able to hear them through their phone and being able to see their app usage is very creepy. just be a normal parent and trust your kids instead of being creeps.

Misleading. I paid for the full subscription - you can hear, gps and so forth. Come to find out Apple doesn’t allow to listen in. So why do I have to pay the same price for those that can. That’s a feature is very important part of keeping my child safe. As Apple customer we should get charge a lower rate due to that feature missing.

Kids 5-8 need this app not 13+ PARENTS. I dont like this app but I feel that this app is for younger kids like 5-8 just so you know what your child is doing and were they are and who there talking to but other wise kid 13 and up should not have this app you need to trust your kids and give the privacy .

I hate this app!. My mom made me download this app and it gives me no privacy! If we get a phone for ourselves then why do the parents have to know EVERYTHING?!! It drains my battery percentage down 6x’s faster!! And I also heard that they can listen to my PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS!! Which literally gives me no freedom to talk to my friends about random things without my parents knowing! Because if your mom is anything like mine you know they gossip more about you then the popular girls do! I HATE THIS APP!!

creepy. though this may show where your child is this way too creepy to have as an app, all you have to do is enable another person to see your location on phones such as apple, but what makes this even worse is that you can hear around your child THROUGH THEIR PHONE. This app may cause huge rifts between children and parents, and create a relationship of distrust and discomfort. Don’t stalk your children. Talk to them. This shouldn’t be used for ages 10+

⚠️ Unsafe, Seemingly Illegal App. BE WARNED - if you want to know the location of your kids using their smartphones, this app is suspicious with collecting data, and as a teen who downloaded Pingo even my mother agrees. Some days ago it automatically sent S.O.S alerts at random moments, when nobody even actually called for help. The only thing this app tracks is mostly just false information, maybe if you’re lucky sometimes true information about where you are and whether or not you call for help but that’s it. (Also, there are TOO MUCH red flags for privacy ‼️) NOTE: If you’re a parent, be mindful no matter how trustful/untrustful this app seems, JUST don’t be surprised if you see this goofy ah Penguin get suspended from the Apple Store maybe even the app’s managers dealing with legal issues

Luv the app. Kids have games and videos to entertain them and it’s east linked with the parent app and it gives me a feeling of ease that I know they r safe. There is a sos button for them also and the alarm button on the parent app helps u find ur child’s fone also which is great. Absolutely worth it! I recommend this app to my friends also! Thank u

Concerned parent, do not get this app!. I just got my 12 year old daughter a phone, and as any parent would I wanted to make sure she was safe and not doing anything she shouldn’t be doing. I thought this app would do just that. Nope! Do not get this app. Of course as any rebellious tween would she deleted it. I am so disgusted. After she deleted it I decided to fully read the privacy policy and what the app was tracking/ the data collected on her. Her voice, MY voice, her dads voice, her siblings voices, and her friends voices were being monitored 24/7! I also saw that one of the software developers is from China! I am all for keeping my daughter safe but this is 100% not the way. This app is complete garbage and she isn’t safe because of this app. It has unlimited access to my speech, texts, and activity, so i deleted it myself. This app is a scam and putting kids at risk for a number of reasons. I have let my co workers, and kids parents that this app is dangerous and they should not get it. I believe that small tracking apps are beneficial for my kids safety but this app is not it. Please do not get this. It has all my information and could leak it at any time and put me, and my whole family at risk. Do better, and stop trying to take advantage of young kids.

Gps doesn't work of notifications are disabled?. It was generating many notifications annoying my daughter with some stupid message like "just checking that it is working" so she disable notifications. Now it tells me that her location is disabled until she turns notifications on? Notifications have nothing to do with gps.

Flaws. It doesn’t allow listen in feature on I phone. Also if you don’t want the dumb notifications turn them off. My kid feels violated by listen feature but I didn’t turn that notification off so she knows if I listen, which I don’t unless I can’t get ahold of her and am concerned.

Kids nowadays. Kids need their privacy I should know I am in Highschool whenever they add trackers on my phone I delete them because I don’t want them to know where I am they can just call me I have gone through so many different apps like life 360 this is by far the most childish. Parents if you are reading this grow up your kids need privacy and you should respect that this is why we sneak out and get in trouble so much

no. this is a total invasion of my privacy i hate knowing the fact that my mom or step dad can listen through my phone and watch what i’m doing on my phone when i don’t know, that’s creepy and it’s invasive i don’t know whoever made this app is but they should remove some of those features because that’s just wrong, this app also drains my battery so much i would have 100 and not use it for like 5 hours and it will be at 50 percent and it also sends notifications every 5-10 minutes i would constantly get notifications over and over again that’s just annoying to the point where i just wanted to delete the whole app, my family did get life360 but my mom payed for a one year subscription she said and she still wants me to use it someone get this app deleted :/

I love this but one suggestion. This is by far the best app for me and my mom I mean she sees when I leave home(sends notifications to her) and she can ring the lil bell but one thing I do suggest is on the kids phone please let them see where their parents are I mean the parents can see where their kids are just that the kids can’t see where their parents are I feel like this is another important feature if y’all can add this it would be AWESOME but other than that it’s a cool app

I don’t care about that anymore though because I know that they can protect me. If u ever get lost they know where I am . Lack of privacy. Although this app helps to know where your child is, this app is lacking privacy. I can literally HEAR MY KID THROUGH THE PHONE. This app makes me feel extremely uncomfortable and feels like I am stalking my own child. This app should only be used on kids 4-10. It’s basically stalking if your kid is 10+ and still using Pingo. I would definitely NOT recommend this app at all.

STALKER APP. Hey guys….. I have had this app for almost a year now. And today was the day I found out “ALL” the features included in this app. I am 16 years old. This is ridiculous. I don’t drive. I’m not a bad kid. I have straight As and I’ve personally never really went behind my parents norms. I was with my friend talking about silly tracking apps when I told her about this app “Pingo” and she wanted to know what it was including the special alarm feature for safety reasons. she wanted to get this app for her and her boyfriend and we went to check it out, when we came across several 1 star reviews talking about how you can “listen” to all your child’s conversations and see the content on your children’s phone in the special subscription. Don’t get me wrong this is a app that’s beneficial, but only for kids between the ages of 5-8 anywhere near 13+ feels absolutely wrong. Parents I get that you want to check your child’s location, but there’s completely no use of trying to get a app for all the other useless features included. Teens need their privacy and that’s important because of their development. Parents should not be going as far as to looking at their child’s content and listening to what they say. That is beyond insane and invasive. Please get help if you believe that this app creates any sort of benefit for you. This app is a scam . Do not recommend.

As the person being monitored with this app... A good app for kids on the younger side, horrible for the older side of the younger generation. A bit too restrictive and certain features are weird. The whole being able to listen to your child’s conversations is crossing the line… by a lot. While not every convo has to be bad some things are personal. Some things a child will intentionally not tell their parents because they aren’t ready, or don’t feel comfortable, this feature quite literally ignores that and don’t think that is a good thing.

Not recommended for Moto or iPhone.. Application drains batteries twice as fast since installing a week ago on a Moto and and an iPhone. I see a large battery usage from the Pingo app and a multi times increase in the mobile network usage, not acceptable. Continue working to improve these issues Pingo.

this app makes sense except for the conv listening. i get the point of this app but listening to your kids conversations is crazy. and you try to down play it by saying “listen to their surroundings when they are unresponsive.” you mean spy on your kids cause you don’t trust them enough to walk home from school or something? like there is an alert button but listening to your kids surroundings and getting an alert of your kids location isn’t gonna change the fact that they got snatched by some rando creep.

Illegal. This app should be illegal. Did the child give consent? Plus, you can just give certain contacts your location via the Apple Maps and iMessages, not that hard. And so what, the kid is on their phone in class? That’s their responsibility.

Add Apple watch app.. I originally gave this app a 5 star review but upon purchasing an apple watch to install this app on instead of a phone I have realised their advertising is a little decieving. It does NOT allow for the watch to be used to track my child! Developer: The link you posted does not list any Apple watches. Unless you clear this up further it still seems NO APPLE’S WATCHES ARE SUPPORTED.

Helicopter Parent’s Dream. The fact that parents can track you is fine, it’s that they can listen in to your conversation, and spam requests and such to your phone, as it eats up your data is completely outrageous, and is practically cyberstalking, ( which in some places, is borderline illegal). I get that you want to track your kids location, but listening to their every move is too far. This is only going to raise kids that hide everything, that are nervous wrecks, and the smarter ones will eventually just abandon their phones in random spots, to avoid it. Give your kids freedom that they deserve.

Yes they might listen to your audio on your phones microphone but that’s the same reason as above. So here’s my final verdict. Bad app idea in theory, even worse execution. This app is absolutely terrible. It’s glitchy, and it barely works for what you need. The user interface is confusing for me to use and additionally my child dislikes the features this app has. If you want to make an app to keep children safe, make it simple and actually effective. I would recommend you make an app designed for children and parents to communicate and for parents to know their child’s location, this scum you call an app is ridiculous. No. Hello. I'm a child and I'd like to share some questions and my personal opinion. First of all, I think that this app is pretty inconvient in it's own ways. It invades your privacy. The parents can hear from our phones? Very creepy. It's my privacy that's on the line and right now it's being invaded. Second, precise location. They can track your PRECISE location, that's weird. I can understand that they'd want to know where we are but I feel like precise location is going too far. It's too much for me and I feel traumatized and uncomfortable having to know that my PARENTS TRACK ME DOWN AND KNOW EXACTLY WHO I'M ON CALL WITH + HEAR WHAT I'M SAYING. My parents will not disable any of the features and stuff even if I ask. Question 1. Will you decide to disable/remove any features such as precise location or having parents know who is on call and who is texting us? Question 2. How do you feel having negative complaints? It’s a concerning app. I had this tracking app for a week and it’s really weird, My mother use this on me because she thought I was up to something. I work and go to school and this app literally drains my battery ALOT and it always die and it takes away my privacy as well. I had an melt down at school and I talked to my friend about it and my mom was listening the whole time and it was very private. I had an argument with my mother about it and I deleted this app without her permission. A year later I haven’t talk to my mom because she was taking away my freedom and when she downloaded this app, it’s literally the breaking point. Parents please do not download this app. It’s creepy and illegal sometimes you need your kids to have space. Literally Life360 is better and not creepy. Battery Draining, Total Invasion Of Privacy. My mom uses this app, fortunately I’ve convinced her to use Life360. This app drains my battery 6 times faster than usual. Next, it tracks your children. Which is okay, not really a problem. A lot of parents nowadays are paranoid. But the problem is you can listen to their surroundings. There’s more. This app tells you EXACTLY which room your child is in precisely. If you look on their tiktok account, it shows exactly what I’m talking about. The child goes into school, you click location, and it shows you the schools layout and which room the child is going in. I Just thing this app is very creepy. Go to Life360!!

Literally the worst app ever.. I’ve never seen such a dumb app before, it’s an invasion of my privacy, my kids and others who use it. For example, you can see who your kids calling, who they’re texting, how much charge they have (not to mention how FAST it drains battery), and just in general how it just gives them no privacy at all. You think ANY teenager is gonna wanna interact with their parents or family when they use this app? My god. Everyone that uses this app with their kids are monsters. Give them space, let them breathe. You’re the reason your child doesn’t like you.

Weird. So Ive read a few reviews and people are mentioning about how apparently their parents can see pretty much their every move on their phone. My mom recently wanted me to download this to see where I’m at, but I don’t think that is the case. Pingo is this correct information that They can see and hear what we are doing on our phone?

I’m seeing reviews seeing this app is bad I’m not sure how but I’m going to believe them it’s really creepy that the parents can hear your voice and see who your calling especially it drains the battery you could’ve made the tracker less weird you should give your child some space. Although I feel bad for the people who made this “why?” You may ask, well the actually tried to make an app “safe” but it surely didn’t work out I have a soft heart for everything. Terrible. This app is the biggest waste of money. The app will randomly change the location settings on its own, making it impossible to track my daughter’s phone. There’s no rhyme or reason as to when or why, but randomly I will open the Find My Kids app to find that her phone isn’t sharing its location. When I open the Pingo app on her phone, it says I have to change the location settings even though I’ve done it many times before. Fix your app or offer refunds!!!

Do not install!. This app is such an invasion of privacy. I am almost 13 yet my mother does NOT trust me! She can listen into my conversations with my friends, see my apps, texts, etc. Then she always asks me, “why don’t you spend time with me?” Or other things like “why don’t you talk to me anymore?” Well I would say that it’s because she wants to know my EVERY move constantly. Our relationship has went lower & lower after I got this app along with her because she forced me to. Absolutely not. This app is a breech of many boundaries that a child has. I understand being concerned with your kid but life 360 does a perfect job of that and many teens/children are fine with it. However this app dives so deep into the information from the kids phone that it might as well be considered malware. This app knows everything and is incredibly dangerous! KIDS NEED PRIVACY. I didn’t even use this app, but I already know what it’s all about, this app is NOT okay. If you want to make sure your child is okay and safe. Might as well use zenly or snap map. I know some parents wants to keep there child safe. But listening to their surroundings is not okay. Kids need privacy too, this can affect your child to ignore you or even hate you. We all need privacy, if my parents did this to me. I would get really upset, I won’t even touch my phone anymore. This can make your child depressed, ignorant, quiet or even suicidal. No. I think it’s just wrong for this app to even be used. Yeah I get it with wanting to see where your kids are, but you can literally just use any other app that DOESN’T listen in on where your child’s at. Like why do you want to know what’s happening in the middle of their class at school? Or even when their at a friends house having a REALLY personal conversation that they don’t want you to hear? I think this was a good idea, just not executed properly. Just use “find my” to see your child’s location. Plus, it’s battery draining. Like why even USE this app?? That’s it.

So I went through reading the Pingo reviews and one person says (this app has absolutely zero privacy and I hate how my parents can listen in to my deep conversations) and Pingo says (you may turn that feature off if you dislike it) and I was reading some more and one other person says (I hate this app it listens to what I’m saying and my Parents can hear) and Pingos response was (your parents cannot hear your conversations if you are on iPhone) so my question is how does Pingo know what device they’re app is installed on?

Horrible App. I hate this app with everything I got. The app listens to what we are doing when parents want to hear what we are doing. It costs so much for them to track us. And they can see what I do on my phone and at what time. It makes me and sibling feel like we have no privacy anymore. But if we tell them abt it, then they’re gonna ask things and say things like, “Well… yah, your kids. Your not gonna like it” or “Why do you need privacy, are you doing things you shouldn’t be doing?” It feels like we are suffocating in no privacy

Battery Drainage and Interface. I think that this app is pretty convenient for what it’s supposed to do, but when it comes to interface and battery, it hits the bottom. The interface isn’t put enough work for the child to be able to do things, especially when they want to change some things themselves. Also, the app is running in the background for 24/7, that itself drains 45 to 60 percent of battery when I went to look at it’s usage throughout the day. They should try and update the amount of time it tracks you, because it shouldn’t be doing it the whole time, and they should make sure that it does a pretty precise location track but not precise to where the battery gets drained. So app in all, ok, interface and battery however, a mess up for me.

Opinion. Hey so this app works pretty much on what it’s said to do but it’s extremely creepy. If you want your child’s location alright you can easily do that on life360 or regular iphone app, with sharing location talk to your child about it first. But this listens to them, you can see everything they do on the phone, and drains the battery about 6 times faster. Personal opinion, it’s a sad app that should shut down, besides if you can’t have a trustworthy relationship with someone what makes you think this will make it any better. Slowly you can gain your child's trust this is just a sad app, again if you want locations life360 or iphone sharing location thing works no need for all this 🙏

I’m concerned. Bro this app can listen to your child? What if your child is talking about something that does NOT concern the parent ?? At least give your child some privacy . Like at least life360 exists so you know where your kid is . And this drains your battery faster like my iPad is almost dead already also this has a bunch of glitches and can cause people to not trust there parents like if my mom had gotten this for me I would’ve stayed in my room all day and cried.
