Great app, but seems to be missing stuff. Let me preface by stating that I have not yet played 5e, but I’ve played literally every other edition of D&D, including Hackmaster and Pathfinder. I bought this app in preparation for joining a game at my local game store. I like the layout, it’s user friendly and intuitive. The ease of the app makes up for a good bit of the ambiguity within the players handbook as far as character creation goes. Where I find the app lacking, however, is in the amount of information that seems to be missing. There are several entries for spells that are in the PHB but not present in the app. Also, the only background the app has available is the Acolyte. It does provide a method of manual entry, but that is time consuming and tedious. Would rate 5 stars if it at least had all the traits needed to make a character from the PHB without manual entry.

Pretty good. I am debating between three and four, but I suppose four works. The app itself is pretty good. It doesn’t have Warforged, which is a little disappointing, but it has a surprising amount of diversity with races and classes. The one problem I had was that was that the magic page is crap. It was really difficult to navigate, there didn’t seem to be any spell options stored, and keeping track of spells was a pain. Attacks, weapons, magic items were all fairly good, but the spells I had problems with. Edit: I went into the discord app and asked my questions, and I got amazing customer service, and I found that my question was answered promptly and helpfully. I no longer have any issues with this app, and I am grateful to the programmers for such an amazing app.

One of the Best!. When I first downloaded the app it was good yet bad but when I joined the discord server for help with the Backgrounds I noticed you had to import some stuff. I would give it a four star because you really require Discord to get most of the options in the app but the app is great in all so I’m still giving it a 5 Star. In the future I would be very happy if you would be able to download the app with everything already there or you can get the link in the app instead of having to get in the Discord server to get it. Good Luck everybody else!!!

I never review things like ever.... ...But this app is seriously great for DND seshes. From the customization, to the textbook descriptions of abilities, it just keeps everything in one place, up to date and ready to go. An amazing discord community backs the whole project up with additional content and is helpful with any questions. Really great job by the team behind the app and the community in the discord!! A++ Nat 20! (Edit: I’ve never posted a review before, so a testament to what i think of this app 😁)

One of the better Character Sheet Apps. I want to first start off by commending the developer and his team for their amazingly beautiful and simple design for their app. Not only is it user friendly and fast, it’s perfect for someone who’s just starting out and has their own copy of the PHB. However, for those that don’t have a PHB, this might be a little difficult for you to navigate through. And that’s probably my major gripe here. Yet, I completely understand the crazy amount of time it takes to input all this info, and keep it again, simple and concise, to match their wonderful design The main reason I gave 4Stars was because of how some numbers on the Character Sheet either don’t add up at all, or don’t add up correctly. Example: Hill Dwarves gain +1 HP per level. Clerics have their 1d8 Hit Roll. Just think some of those things should calculate together, but again I 100% understand that some of this might be complex from a programming and developing standpoint. I’d love for the devs and their team to grow so they could eventually make all their User Editing boxes more automatic. It would be an amazing feat in itself and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this wonderful app. It’s a sin to give this thing anything less 4Stars!

Amazing, with one exception. This has become my go to app now for keeping track and creating characters for my dnd campaigns! It has a very friendly UI, you can quickly create characters on the fly and you have all the customization options you need without being cluttered. My one problem is the subclasses. So far, for all the classes I have chosen to go with, every option has missing subclasses. This is especially disheartening because, the subclasses I wish to use for certain characters are ones that are missing on the app. For example, the monk class is missing the “Way of Shadow” subclass and the sorcerer class is missing the “Wild Magic” subclass. If this small inconvenience was fixed in future updates, I would consider paying for the pro version of the app and ditching old fashion paper characters all together!

Basically nothing unless you spend the 10 dollars (still kinda worth it, though). So I downloaded this app as an alternative to DND Beyond because I didn't wanna buy the membership or the e-books, and was pleasantly surprised; the interface was pretty intuitive, quite aesthetically pleasing, and it gives you all character options for free (as long as you stopped by the discord server to download them)… Until I wanted to make a third character. You're only allowed to make 2 characters before it makes you either pay $10 (which is still cheap, since its a one-time purchase) or refer 6 people to get 1 more character slot. I’d still recommend the app, but if you're like me and mostly use online character sheets for the convenience of all your characters in one place, BE READY to spend the $10.

Great App. I absolutely love this app. I’ve been using it for all of my DnD characters since I discovered it. The only thing that I think would make it better is if we were able to share character sheets from device to device without sending a pdf through email. Maybe if there was a free account login that synced our character sheets could be a solution. I suggest this because I’m constantly updating my characters and I don’t like sending myself constant emails to make sure it is saved. If my device got destroyed somehow or a little cousin deleted the app, then all of my info would be gone. So overall, if there was a way to sync an account or to share with multiple devices via airdrop or something of that nature, then this will continue to be the superior Dnd app in the store.

Would not recommend after latest update. When I first got it it was a easy way to make a character on my phone with no limit on how make you can make and as someone who likes to make character without even using them I liked it. But with the new update it made it so I can’t access any of my past characters and limited character options to nearly none when it comes to customization (sub races/classes and backgrounds even down to feats). and even before the new update you were able to favorite spells but their was no way to put them in your sheet without manually typing them in. To give the developer the benefit of the doubt most of this is because of legal reasons and they are only allowed to use base parts but this app isn’t worth the money if you can go online and get the same thing or more for free.

Excellent!. This app is simply magnificent and I couldn’t recommend it more! Other apps simply don’t have the simplicity and versatility Prism does, and I’m not one to pay for apps like this, but after a few minutes of use, I said screw it and bought the full version because it’s just absolutely worth every penny. Character creation is organized in extremely simple steps, there are tons of resources available all able to be customized and created to your liking, and every single thing is printable on a card. It’s excellent. Stop contemplating and buy it!

Doesn’t work. I really want to like this app. It looked perfect, but it just doesn’t work. I tried to make a half-Elf but the racial characteristics were wrong. Half-elves get a +2 to Charisma and +1 to any two stats they choose. They also gain proficiency in two skill of their choice. This app did not list or apply those features. I thought I could get around that by making a custom Half Elf race, which I did...but as soon as I got to the last screen of character creation and clicked DONE, it jumped back to the starting inventory page and said “Come on! You’ve got equipment choices to make!” even though all the slots were filled and choices made. There were no infilled slots or unpicked equipment. It just kept going back to that screen no matter what. I suppose I could try getting around THAT by making a custom class, but why? The app should work.

Best. App. Ever.. Seriously, it made creating a sheet all the fun and none of the annoying cross-checking. Once I added the starter pack off the Discord, it even had obscure and complicated options seamlessly integrated. I had some trouble at first and sent an email — I got a response immediately and the bug was fixed within a couple of hours! I paid for the pro version just to support them, but the journal and dice and pdf features make the pro upgrade MORE than worth it. This is the app you have been wishing someone would make.

Feature Rich, really fun, some options are clunky. This has made it very easy and a lot of fun to make DnD characters. I bought pro and the features are worth it. It’s a little pricey but I thought about how quickly I’d blow the same amount of money some other way, lol. Anyways I love being able to have so much info, but my one gripe is that this app is not easy to use in game. I would really love to see someday a ‘play mode’, where stats like HP, AC, spell slots, etc. are shown and the saving throws, skill checks, spells, attacks, are in a list where tapping them just rolls them right away for you. While I do love that when you roll it shows the base roll and the additives, I don’t love having to flip through pages and go through a menu every time to roll. Either way, this app is worth the price though!

Full information. This app is amazing for those who are new to D&D and veterans. The only issue I am having with this app is the fact that not all the races and feats and a bunch of other info isn’t available. I have to download it from a separate app (discord) and it’s a pain in the rear. It would be nice to have all the info available from the get go, especially for those who really enjoy just creating characters for fun. Other than that, it’s simply easy to use. Would recommend to others.

Outstandingly Helpful. While I won’t write anything too elaborate, this honesty is the best app I’ve ever seen or used for DND other then just simple dice rollers, especially because it potentially has access to literally anything and anything officially 5e, and if that’s not enough, you can create your own home brew stuff with enough time and effort. I will say this though, certain things I do wish had a bit more user friendliness, for instance, most items don’t have descriptions or pictures for them to explain what they are or what they contain. Another issue, is stats. You cap out at 20 and I know that’s the norm, but my dungeon masters house rule is 30 because we do some anime leave fights. Right now I can’t represent that on the app even though I tried to before hitting finish on the character setup so I’m still going to need to probably print out a sheet and do things the old fashioned way. Other then the smaller stuff like that, this app is genuinely amazing and has taught me stuff I didn’t even know existed like lineages and fun kooky builds like the barBearian Druid and I appreciate the cheap price it is to use. It’s a reasonable ask

Loved it but of course can’t have it.... This app was the most useful Character creator app I had ever owned. I could hand my phone to a new player and not need to babysit them! It was great having all the tools on my phone and I had a blast with it...but this new update...just wow...opening the app to red character lines that say locked really put the horror in this update, it was like the DM saying your character is dead but instead of generating a new one, you were asked to leave the game and never come back. I had experienced this pain before when watching Simbas last moments with Mufasa. I just hope, is it possible the other content, once available and now lost, will be re-released again?

Simple, beautiful, great app. I am trying to put together a party of my friends and all of us are new. I am by far the most invested in DnD and so I have had to help my friends every step of the way. Making a character is so easy because it fills in most things for you and when you have to choose things most of them have a randomize button. This made my life way easier because it meant that I didn’t have to make 4 different characters for my friends and instead could randomize most things. Overall great app for new and old players.

It’s really good! Does it for you!. I’m not that math/tech savvy when it comes to putting my own character sheets together. But prism makes it so easy to make characters and simplifies it down to sections, that are easy to access and navigate. Plus they go the extra mile of doing the work for you when it comes to leveling up even after my character is created! I’d say the only thing that would make it perfect, is if it could keep updating with more content, such as more races, and more classes/sub classes. Other than that, it’s really good app.

Fantastic tool. Been using this to quickly create npc characters in my current campaign. I love its interface and it is really easy to learn. There are some features in it that are missing which is no problem, since I’ve had it there have been some updates. I am hoping there will be more of the “expansion” books added, I have the hard copies of books but to quickly add all races, subclasses, etc. would be pretty nice. Other than my hopes for the future of this app, I love it, and have recommended it to those who are in my campaign as a simple and useful tool for d&d.

Continues to be the BEST 5e app out there.. I have been using Prismscroll for years, I tried many (all that I could find) of the existing character creator apps out there, none truly compare to Prismscroll. I also highly recommend the PrismDM app (been using that to run my game for the past year and a half.) I need to give Sam a shoutout as the most responsive developer I’ve ever come in contact with. I’m pretty sure he lives with a shock collar to alert him every time a question is posted on discord. His responses are extremely timely and helpful. Overall the app is excellent on both form and function with the ability to create pretty much anything you can think of. There is an active discord that is happy to share feedback and homebrew. Thank you for this app!!!

Incredible tool. Hands down the best tool for making 5e characters. I paid the $10 for unlimited character slots since I love build crafting, and it was super worth it. Not only is it a good way to quickly make a build that’s on your mind, but you can also edit/export character sheets to both digital and paper pdf versions. (pssst, you can also go to the prism scroll discord and download the races, classes, feats, etc from any source book, plus custom character stuff too)

Really Cool App. This app has a ton of options and is super slick. I will say you kind of have to tinker with things and I sometimes have issues getting some of my modifiers to display correctly but once you play with it a bit it works extremely well. I haven’t seen any pop ups or built in ads and I’m honestly shocked that an app this polished offers so much for free. The $10 for pro offers quite a bit and is especially worth it if you have a lot of characters or are a DM. Best app for the value hands down.

Great concept. If I didn’t have to manually create the subclass I'm using it would be fine. I honestly don’t really understand how to import to the app or I would. If you just want to mess around with making a character its great but if you have something in mind, you'll probably have to either import content or buy something from the app. I spent a good hour or so inputing stuff and then I rage quit because it was taking too long to input an already generated character that shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes to put into a character sheet.

Best Character App I’ve Found. I’ve just recently gotten back into DnD in the past year after a 20 year hiatus (played 2e) and have had to relearn everything. This app makes figuring out character creation a breeze. Someone had originally recommended a different app which I tried but I would’ve had to repurchase each book I already owned just to use the content in my characters. With this one, I did the download to get access to everything and I can make characters with all the options I have access to in my physical books. I did the one time purchase for the pro version of the app and now I can make as many characters as I want. Plus I can even have a downloadable PDF of the character sheet that I can print off and have in front of me when I play. I LOVE this app. Best resource for players that I’ve found!

Beautiful and easy to use!. I love this app. I tried a free character creator first, but the interface was annoying and ugly. I decided to shell out the money for this and gosh, was it worth it! For a pretty new player like me, it’s so helpful that it’s in the same layout as the printed sheets - it means I don’t have to re-learn everything! The constant improvements really help, and the added spells interface is amazing so far! I’m very pleased with the improvements to character creation and item selection, and the automatic calculations for the weapons you select in character creation. I’m very interested in the custom content creation, and am specifically hoping more features are added to the background options soon - languages, proficiencies, and inventory, as adding those all manually is a pain and requires me to keep track of them somewhere else. However, it’s not a huge deal, and I love the app anyway!

Only One Problem. Hi! I started using this product and thought the interface was sleek and wonderful, very intuitive and able to be used by everyone (I play with some older players and they were able to understand and use the sheets easily) -- I've found a problem in sending character sheets, though -- when I go to export via email, there is no attatchment, and when I airdrop to others near me there are certain things missing (resistences, skill bonuses, and skill profeciencies are the ones I've noticed). Since you seem so active in responding to comments via reviews, I thought I'd mention it here. The ability to send people character sheets is vital for me in my campaigns, and it would be difficult to have to deal with these problems as the sheets change with levels. Overall wonderful product!

This is great! One thing I've noticed.... This app is great! My friends and I just started playing DnD this winter, and this app has made it SO much easier for me to create a character sheet. I've noticed one thing, though. When I'm leveling up my character, the app gives me an option to either roll or take the average number for all of my stats. That's great, but every time I choose to roll, it gives me the highest possible stat. My character was way too strong until I realized what was happening. In order to get a fair roll, I have to roll twice and take the second value, since the first value is always the highest possible value.

I actually am loving the app but I’m seeing an issue.. Im just reporting an issue with the spell cards. If I choose the wrong ones for my player character there isn’t a delete button. I usually just favorite them and once I try to push the star button again to clear it for my deck it doesn’t ever really go away. I WANT TO CLARIFY THIS IS STILL A VERY AWESOME APP. As someone you recently just got into DND and have only played four times ever making new characters has never been easier than with this app. The reason I want to report this problem is because I want to continue just using this app for all of my character needs but with this hiccup I actually have to download a separate app to keep my character’s spells together and know their abilities.

Absolutely LOVE but some additions would be nice. I absolutely LOVE this app it makes playing so much easier and I can get into the game much quicker. A lot of the features are pretty straight forward and the ones that aren’t take only a little time to understand (at least for me). That being said some some basic additions would be appreciated (though I understand if it is complicated to add). My first wish would be a way to add a character’s “image” after the completion of said character. I know you can add one before but I don’t always have a picture until later on so that would be nice. My second wish would be for there to be that little information bubble next to the race/sub race/background choices that have some basic descriptions. I’m not saying the whole description as is seen in the book but just some basic background info so we have more of an idea of the race etc for those who don’t have a any of the books. And when I say “information bubble” I mean like the bubble next to the class options that have just a little blurb about the class Right now that’s all I can think of but ya, fantastic app and I’ve recommended it and will continue to recommend it to my friends 👍 Edit: I just found the other sheets that allow you to add an image haha I feel silly so scratch that haha

This could be great.... I’m trying to use this app for my new campaign I’m in. In all honesty the app mechanics and how it works are absolutely fantastic and could be the future, HOWEVER, it’s not ready for the App Store. It doesn’t have basic book features. You can’t select a lot of subclasses and as a level 2 ranger I don’t have access to the spells in the base dnd book. From what I understand you can import this from the community and discord channel (which I will be trying) but the base book content should be in the app from the get go and UA and other books should come from discord and the community. I seriously am hoping they continue to pump out updates and make this app great, but they have a lot of work to do.

Wonderful App Overall. I browsed the App Store in hopes of finding a “character sheet organizer” and I stumbled across an app that did SO MUCH MORE than I could ask for! Your very easy and comprehensive interface made making my character a breeze and I could tell that you addressed previous issues with diligence because I could find no issue with calculations or data entries! I am definitely recommending this to all my friends and it will definitely help with an amazing experience! Keep up the good work and I plan to see what improvements you will bring to the app! 😁

It sounds amazing but I’ve run into 2 serious bugs. I first tried the macOS version. It looked very promising and I started to make a character. I got as far as trying to set ability scores before I had a problem. I could set my Strength base ability score but trying to click to save and exit didn’t work. The x in the close button disappeared after I clicked it and then did nothing. Do I quit the program and reopened it. My character and progress was saved! No biggie, I tried to do Dex and it stalled in the same way. I tried to resize the screen and the app crashed. So I tried it on my iPhone. This time I got as far as tapping the x close button and the app crashed. I tried creating a new character with a different name, crash. I gave up after this. I wish it worked for me.

Simple Complexity. Hello, I would like to say that the creators have done an amazing job at making something as complex as D&D as simple as choosing options. This is a great tool if you are starting out and aren’t quite sure about what exactly a character gets from their class/race/background. For example each class gets to pick a certain number of certain skills to be proficient in. When you get to that section the app doesn’t make you worry about skills that do not apply or even what it means to be proficient. Now I know many character creation apps do this but it’s just one example of the types of things this app does to make creating a character fluid. I gave this app 5 stars because even though it’s a pay to use app you certainly get what you pay for. The only things I would like to see changed is to have more of the 5e content (specifically UA) and being able to select a template for customization sections. I wanted to make a Raven Queen warlock and saw it wasn’t listed as a sub class. So naturally I went to custom, but found it a little tedious to lookup the information needed to be able to essentially just make a custom subclass. All in all I’m very pleased with the user friendly aspect of this app and think it’s a great choice for beginners and veterans alike.

Easy to use Character Generator. Base content is pretty limited, but it’s easy to upload content from the Prism Discord channel. Between Discord content and the features in the app, I can make just about any character I want. There are a few minor changes I would like to see before I’d call it perfect. For example, you do not have the option to take Expertise in Thieve’s Tools as a Rogue. I haven’t found any other refinements I need to make my characters. I would like to be able to filter content based on source material, but that would just be a bonus. Solid app.

Great but needs more. First I want to say that this app is amazing. It has an incredibly friendly UI, it is clean and easy to navigate/understand, it has no lack of pages to add information about your character. I even love the little celebration you get when you level up. The thing that kills it for me is the lack of depth. There needs to be more options for backgrounds, playable races, even subclasses needs more (I’ve only seen one subclass per class) I bought the premium version because for what the app has is great, and what it offers in premium for only $10 is better. But I was hoping to unlock more subclasses and races with premium. Will the creators ever come out with more options?

Good start.. Like what is being done so far. Would like the adding weapons damage would let you have more control on what you can list as its damage dealt( edit, currently it only lets you put #d# insert element damage but has no way to add how much damage the element roll is) also the attack roll bonus for the first weapon slot keeps moving down to the next one ad deleted the previous number. (Also looking forward to the feats addition mentioned). A list of actions that your character can do such as race abilities and archetype abilities. And a print function would be awesome! (Also when you guys get the time I think the spell list has expanded beyond what you currently have).ps thanks for responding to my review I really appreciated it and that my impute it being taken into consideration. Looking forward to future updates!

Fantastic resource, awesome dev. This app has really been coming along amazingly! The frequent updates and adding new features is truly a welcome sight. There are still some UX elements I’d love to see shifted in a new way, but it’s still a mightily impressive app. And in this day and age, I absolutely love that the dev writes detailed change log notes in the update message. I don’t usually review apps, but seeing those elaborated updates continuing to come through is what prompted me here. It is a sight for sore eyes amidst a sea of “contains bug fixes and/or performance enhancements”

PrismScroll Just Works. As a mobile character manager, PrismScroll is an incredible tool. As others have said, it takes a lot of the overhead out of building a character. It’s less like doing math homework and more like… well, creating a game character. The app gives you what you need to add whatever content you want as well, with a straightforward toolset that makes custom content a breeze. Literally the easiest time I’ve ever had adding content to a character manager. The community surrounding this app is great, too. Very helpful people, active developer, and super easy to get involved. PrismPro is worth every penny. Easily my favorite TTRPG app I’ve got.

Pretty interface but still lacking. The interface is great, making a character is fairly easy and fast process but after that my excitement ended. I was really hoping this app would be able be able into input all the different stats automatically. Like the base state is cool because it calculates the points you put into it and any bonuses you have for your race and there's a break down to show you where everything comes from. This is the only place where this featured, everywhere else you basically have to manually calculate and put things in. Other things I wish the app would do, save roll combos, so I'm hit sneak attacking with my rogue I have a saved roll combination that does a d20, d8+2d6+3 Wish the die animation was a little shorter, realized how much slower I was compared to everyone else with real die. I wish there was a place that could indicate how many spells I can prepare for the day and how many spell slots I can have I can't change my skills, my rogue has skill expertise, so certain skills need to be increased Can't add damage bonus to my damage roll slot So the app is okay but for a paid app I was hoping to get something more

Hands down favorite. I’ve been playing 5e for about 2 years and I’ve never needed another tool. The app is clean and concise, is constantly being updated to keep up with new WoTC releases, and it’s functionality is fantastic. For the casual player who dabbles in home brew, the ability to plug items into your sheets is simple and comprehensive. The character builder is vast and accurate, as well as convenient. I’ve made dozens of characters, NPCs, specialty items, and even monsters on here and they’re all easily accessible, customizable, and simple to browse and interact with. I’m starting a campaign as a dm online and I’ve recommended all my players use this app for their character sheet instead of the websites integrated character creator. All in all it’s a well designed and well maintained app made by a stellar part of the community who understands what the player wants and how to give it to them in the most convenient and consistent way possible. And for times that you’ve got specific requests or recommendations, their discord is very active and the developer often does livestream Q&As to help further develop the app and keep in touch with the community.

Pretty Good, But Glitched. Hi! I think that this app is very beautiful and clean and is so easy to use because you don’t have to worry about writing everything down on paper and I think that is so convenient. It is great and all, but for some reason there is only the acolyte background coming up for backgrounds, and I can only seem to find half the spells that I’m looking for. Now, I don’t know if this is a glitch or not, but is there anyway you can fix that or help me fix that because I don’t think a bard acolyte actually makes sense. But anyway, if that stuff would be fixed then I would certainly be glad to give this 5 stars. But the spells and backgrounds need to be fixed.

Could be 5 Stars with some tweaks!. This app is really great at letting you create your character sheets! It’s really the best app I’ve found for this kind of thing. It could be a little better with a few minor changes however. When you add a race or a background that isn’t in the provided lists, it doesn’t really let you select that addition right away after it’s saved. I had to start the character sheet over to select my Warforged race or unique background. It’s a minor nitpick, but it got really aggravating after the third time. Also the option to go to the Discord for other people’s creations only opened my Discord app to an existing page and not to anything Prism related so I think the link might not work. Again, these are really minor nitpicks on a really good app and I want to stress that it’s really useful! So if you need help designing a character sheet, this can definitely get you most of the way through.

Worth the Buy!!. I’ve been looking for a conviennent all inclusive dnd app. And this thing EASILY takes the cake. It has every non-home brew spell in the dnd universe and makes it easy to organize everything for easy access so you spend less time reading and searching and more time role playing the action! All my friends use me as the go to fact checker in the group and it’s just plane awesome. My only notes to the developers would be when I enter in a customizable weapon I’d like to be able to add “1d10+1 to damage”. Everything else rocks boxers!! Or any way to make customizable weapons?

Amazing! Absolutely Amazing!. I wish I would have found this app sooner! PrismScroll really helps with character creation and helps to alleviate some of the complicated concepts (in my opinion) of flipping through the players hand book and trying to memorize what race, class, item statics, that you would need to add this to a certain number... blah blah blah. The app streamlines it, making it such a faster easier process to get through. It has most of if not all the information you would need right at your fingertips; from spells and what they do, even what is inside an explorers pack. All right there at the swipe of a finger. The developers of this app are absolute geniuses! They have really put a lot of thought into it and it is greatly appreciated. No more will I sit and wonder if I’m making a character correctly. PrimsScroll is where it’s at!

Good app, needs some work. So far I’m enjoying this app. I’ve only set up characters and have not used it during gameplay yet. One thing I wish was different is that the user can go in and edit/add spells and items without having to erase what is there. I don’t know if this can be done after purchasing as I’m only using the free version. Simple to use, needs some items included in the list (I carry a few items not found in the app’s item list), and the above mentioned function. Overall, a good app to use. Better than a couple of apps I’ve tried including D&D Beyond.

Outstanding App! One minor issue though. I love this app all around. Great interface, awesome compatability with homebrew content, but the one problem I've been running into a lot is this: whenever adding descriptions for hombrew content, there is a small bubble that appears right above the decription box, and right where the first line is. The solution I've been coming up with is to just skip to the 2nd line and then just put it back into the normal format, but it would be awesome if this could be changed in some way. Love the great work with the rest of the app though! Keep up the amazing work.

Possible Fixes. I thoroughly enjoy this app and it is infinitely better than most other apps regarding user friendly UI. It truly caters properly towards new players who have too much confusion about creating a character and what things they can/should choose about characters. I am personally an experienced D&D player so I love this app and commend the creators for their success. However, I noticed a few possible fixes. First off, I think it would be consistent with the ideals of the Main Sheet if Dragonborn racial resistances were naturally added to the resistances container. I noticed this minor detail when creating a white Dragonborn, but did not see a Cold resistance, of which I simply added one, but a newer player may easily gloss over this and never remember it. Also, I believe Dragonborn breath attacks should be moved from the Features section, or at least added, to the equipment section alongside the weapons. However, that seems a little strange, so maybe even consider creating a Combat section and adding weapons, their attacks, and any sort of possible racial features such as breath attacks, bite attacks, or specialized unarmed strikes depending on the player chosen race

Updated: Mandatory video before I can create a character.. Update: Watched the video and gave it a try. I like the layout, and the character creation process. I like the system of creating new spells, features, etc. Having to enter non- home brew material manually is a pain, but it’s no worse than other character creators. There’s a lot of coming soon content, some of which seems to me like it should have been there at launch. I’ve also noticed a few other nit picky details, but I’ll contact the developers directly with those comments. Old review: Hard nope for me. I’ll figure this app out on my own or not at all. Also, just starting the video unsolicited, is super uncool. Also, I get that the app can’t come with more than the SRD material, but that would have been nice to know before I purchased the app. Instead, literally the first screen is a disclaimer telling me everything that DOESN'T come with the app.

Found it Annoying and Difficult to Find the Extra Info. I first ran across a bug, what seemed like a rule confusion, and came here to review it. Other reviews indicated material on a Discord? After time in searching I finally found that and some downloadable content. Did that. Didnt help the bug. I think it’s difficult and convoluted to use. I don’t like some of the organization, alphabetized equipment that I can’t organize, lists that should be columns but read like prose, and too much space taken up so that I see way less at once. Not seeing a way to edit certain items. I don’t need to pay for more content, I need it easier to use and have only seen one app that was worse.

Wow!. I honestly hate using apps for this stuff because they always seem to be like “buy our premium or get less than the basics” or it will just be too glitchy or not very user friendly. This app, however, is a beast. It is by far the easiest to use, everything has an “info” tab so that you actually know what things are before you choose them. Just all around the best character sheet app out there. Just need to thank the developers for actually doing an amazing job on this and making it free🙏🏻

It’s amazing but.... I really love this app, but- it seems to be missing a lot from the basic players handbook, also it would be awesome if we could add some homebrew content such as spells, weapons, armor etc. I really hope that those sort of things come soon.

Amazing But here’s a few suggestions. This is the perfect app to keep track of all your characters that are perfectly by the book. I genuinely suggest getting it as it shows amazing potential and is already great for any starting out d&d player and even those who aren’t. But as for my suggestions. Allow for custom classes and races to have features. I attempted try and add a Half-Dragon Race. From the unofficial d&d wiki. dandwiki.com. But I was disappointed to find you couldn’t add them in. I also found that some feats were missing, after creating a character and you check whether it is right or not it forgets to add racial bonuses to the ability scores. And finally. Once you have finished your character and you look at its sheet. Instead of putting any weapons in the equipment section put it in the attacks and spell casting section with all of the dice needed and bonus there instead of making it so you go in and have to do it manually. Same goes with armour. Put in the AC on the sheet depending on what ever armour the character has in its equipment section. And if it has two different armours. Pick the one with the highest AC. Don’t forget to add DEX modifier. However still have it able to be overwritten. Or at least the option to swap in and out armours that the character has, this also goes for other weapons attacks or spell casting While in the creation mode. Have it so spell casting classes, can pick out their spells there before having to go into the sheet and find them. As it took me some time to actually find where they all were. And just as before have them in the attacks and spell casting section. Classes that get a form of companion, such as the BeatMaster Ranger. Should be given an extra sheet for their companion. And finally I found that the known languages and other proficiencies section was left blank when I know that there were languages known and other proficiencies to be put In there. Such as “Common” or “Simple Weapons”. This is all I can find currently however I will continue to scope out any flaws or bugs or things that could be improved as I definitely have high hopes for this.

The best character sheet out there. Worth every single cent. This is honestly the best D&D character app out there. It sounds like a sales pitch to say how easy it is to use, how intuitive and aesthetically pleasing it is, but it’s all true! Was also so impressed that I asked a question via email and was given a response mere minutes later. Sam, you’re a gem! One suggestion...in the main list of all your character sheets, it would be pretty cool if it displayed the character image you’ve uploaded (if you have uploaded one). And also in the “Characters” sub-tab. If I’m writing down every character I see, would be cool if I could attach a little pic instead of trying to remember hem by name.

Can’t export characters without paying $15 or buying a separate app. Downloaded this app, it’s gorgeous, and went though all the steps to import content (it has its own file type, so you can’t use XMLs you may have used on other apps) and then tried to Export the character for my friend to use on her app (I’m her DM). The app says it’s an invalid file type, but it’s really a “dm” file that can only be opened on a second, $5 app. To export from this app to another version of this app, at least one of you has to pay $15 for the pro version. This was a deal breaker for me, but it’s a beautiful app and I hope if this isn’t a necessity for you, you’ll give it a go!

Room for improvement but otherwise great. The app is a good way to organize character information, and even allows you to export your digital sheets as PDFs for paper use. As a player and DM it’s incredibly useful to keep all of my character information in one place, as opposed to spread over multiple paper copies. Personally I think the app could be more intuitive, and reorganizing the tabs would make it a lot easier to use. The sheets themselves are reasonably well organized, but I’d like to see a Features and Traits section on the main page to outline class abilities. Additionally, the sheets lack areas for Size, Creature Type, Alternative Movement, and Darkvision. Making the digital sheet customizable would be the best fix to this issue. Lastly, the use of standard emojis as icons is an aesthetic feature that comes across as a little tacky, but that’s entirely my personal preference and I understand the convenience from a development standpoint. Ultimately I think the app is worth it if you’re looking for a digital sheet but can’t afford a D&D Beyond subscription. All the issues are minor and will likely be fixed by future updates.

Great app, lots missing. To start, I really like the look of the app and the user interface. I was a bit disappointed, however, when I went to create my character: a Drow rogue/warlock. From the start, Drow was not an available race to select, and then when selecting my warlock spells, Hex (a cornerstone of my build) was also not available. I do understand that I can input all of the data myself in the creator function within the app, but to me the point of using an app such as this as opposed to using pen and paper is that these options are pre-programmed in and I don’t need to write and/or program everything in myself.

I love the app..... but. The unarmed strike for monk is messed up and also when you are choosing spells it would be helpful to do it in order of level. One more thing is when you choose a spell it should be removed from the list on the same character Please answer this and the weapons are a little messed up too

Subscription limits potential. The overall app is great but only allows two characters at any given time. I currently have 3 active characters and a few more on standby, which is inconvenient for me when using this. The choice to limit characters is a bad one since you can use other apps like “5th edition character sheet” to have unlimited characters for free. If you want characters, don’t use this.

Great. I was worried when the OLA problem arose. But they handled it very well. My characters have been unlocked and I am able to continue to use the app like I did before the last update. Definitely recommend for anyone who can get the custom info into the app.

It’s Awesome!. It looks great and functions just as well. If you have any problems with the apps you can easily reach the devs on their discord. The only thing that they should improve on is getting people to get the help they need finding the downloads for the files to make the app function properly in the first place or include the downloads as part of the initial download of the app.

I enjoy it, however…. I think a limit of 3 or 4 characters would be better. The subscription is a bit steep of a cost, especially for my friends and I, who are quite young and don’t have the means to pay for it. Also, I’d like it if the currency had a +/- system like the health. Other than that I really do enjoy this app :)

The updates are frequent, and add features that I’m always looking forward to using. Love it but surprised. I just discovered the app today and i love it. Especially that you can put homebrew info into it to use to make your characters! Im just surprised that the official tiefling subraces are not on it as well as the limited number of character backgrounds already on the app. Overall i love it but i gotta wonder if those will be added

Potential to be Amazing!. This app truly has helped streamline a bunch of things for me as both a DM and a player, allowing for me to more easily help my players create characters without having to constantly check the book. That being said, I would like to mention for a few things in the area of custom features(since I love to homebrew): - When you create a custom race, under the Race section for Character Feats in a character sheet, it lists the Aarakocra features. - I would really love the ability to add subclasses for custom classes in the future in addition to introducing custom class features (don’t know if that is something being worked on or not). I would want this also with custom races, if possible. Other than that, everything else has been great! Really incredible job to everyone on the team!

Best 5E App. I’m a new player to DnD, and I am a huge fan of Prismscroll, it makes managing my character sheet much easier. Everything at your fingertips, clean UI, great character builder feature. This is one of the only apps I have ever purchased, and I don’t regret a penny of it. Highly recommend it, thank you devs! If there was a Prismscroll Windows app, I could die and go to heaven satisfied. I would even pay for it again just to get it on my laptop.

Best character-sheet app!! However. I like the app a lot! It’s my go-to for character sheets on my phone. It compacts everything in a way that is understandable. However, having to pay for more than 2 characters is a little much for me. I’m the type of person who loves making characters that I’ll never play. The app is also missing a lot of content so you have to join their discord, search for and download the content you want.

Best character creation app. Period.. Sam (the designer) is INSANELY responsive. Constantly working out the few kinks people run into. I had a problem and he immediately responded with a fix and an explanation of the deeper issue at hand. He really cares. It’s pretty cool. Additionally this app is better (and cheaper) than anything you’d want to do on competing digital programs for DND (including dnd beyond) 10/10 would recommend.

Update is a step back, but hopeful for many steps forward. Guys I’m so sad that a ton of the content is now blocked. I just completely lost 2 of my characters. I loved this app and now it’s a wash Update: I really appreciate the response from the developer and there is still the ability to customize. Great, simple app that misses out on a lot more potential.. This app is really great, with simple designs, simple character creation and managing, however I do have ONE complaint. It’s missing a LOT of content from dnd, many classes only have One subclass to choose from, rather than the three in the players handbook, and I don’t want to go through and homebrew every single thing in that book. Other than that, it truly is a great app and I suggest entirley!!

A good skeleton. While the idea is fantastic, the app is missing key components, it is currently impossible to make a proper sorcerer or warlock due to the lack of meta magic skills and evocations respectively. While making fighters, paladins, and rangers work for the most part, you cannot pick your fighting styles for each and overall there is no way to abbreviate or condense the class ability text in app. You also cannot view how many spells you are allowed to take for any class, you can’t pick the same weapon twice. This needs a lot of improvements before it can be considered a replacement or substitute.

Amazing DND Character Software. I really like PrismScroll!! It is very easy to create characters, view them, and make edits as needed. As of writing this review, I seem to be having some issues with the iCloud uploading and downloading of characters. When I try to upload a character made on either my Macbook or old iPad mini, some characters are successful in being seen in my iCloud server, and some are not. Not to mention, my success in downloading varies from device to device. Add on top of this, I seem to have hit a limit? Or some other error. When I try to upload/update a character for my iCloud It currently says "defaultOwner_>to server: record too large". If there is a solution to these issues, I would certainly appreciate hearing them. If these issues were not present, I would absolutely rate the app 5 stars!

Simply beautiful. The simple UI of this app is great. Absolutely amazing job on this app. My entire group uses it now which makes things amazingly easier for us. I’m looking forward to using the other apps. I had to purchase the pro as this is done so well. Hopefully we’ll see sheets from all editions, including AD&D2e. That would be greatly appreciated! Amazing! Especially for New players and those who like quick builds. This app feels amazing, it has a standard creation method which helps character building dramatically. I did at one point run into a some problems but they were patched out in a month, thats another reason this app is awesome it feels like the creators are listening to feedback and adding more ways to manage and create characters.

Amazing. Amazing app over all and in love with it! The only issues I’ve had has been spells glitching and saving some I never clicked, and won’t save some I’m trying to. When I’m on my sheet trying to view the spells like hex nothing comes up. And not everything comes up for custom characters like a spell sheet. But overall the pros completely out way the cons and is an amazing app!

9.9/10. This app has everything I’ve need. So far I’ve been enjoying using it. I've convinced a couple friends to you it and they prefer it. The only thing that I would love more is if it had a copy of the full DnD5e and assorted rulebooks. I find it almost impossible to find the info I need to create my character only. If this app had that built in with indexing nothing would beat it.

Excellent app but a little disorganized. This app has just about every DND tidbit you could ask for. Once you download the add one from the discord page the content increases by a factor of 5 easily. My only complaint is that the app could be more organized. If the attacks were on the first page with the main stats it would be a five star review. However, you have to scroll through two or three pages before you get to them. Other than that it’s a good app.

Well done. Missing a couple things.. Liking the application. Just wish it had an accurate 5e point buy system. IE: 14 attribute for 7 points 15 for 9. Also it would be helpful to display attribute adjustments for races. Lastly on page 2 of the character sheet a list of class specific level abilities would be helpful. The spell cards are great but no way to track use or open spell slots and invocations.

A Powerful Tool for Players and Dms Alike. This app has helped to streamline a lot of the character creation process, given quick access for references, and made game play much easier. Puts everything you need and more right at your fingertips. Pro version is worth it! The app’s discord server is invaluable! Take some time to get familiar with it, and it will pay dividends 10 fold to the amount of content and resources available.

Awesome. Developers are actively improving this app with really excellent functional features. My personal favorite feature is how fully fleshed out some of the character classes, subclasses and class options are done. And the community support is very, very active. Hundreds of new items created since I’ve joined. I’m very excited about this product!! Update: I've used it since it came out and it gets better every day. Support is amazing.

Better than DND Beyond with a few tweaks. First things first amazing app but there are a few issues such as the dark mode being behind a pay wall, as well as the limit to 2 characters when you don’t get PrismaPro. So if you get the app just get the Pro especially because it is a one time purchase.

Great app, better support. Please fix all of the iPad weirdness. When you hit level up you can't actually level up your class because the toggle is way off the screen. This scaling issue makes the app completely unusable on the iPad. You physically cannot level up your class. Dev is working hard on this. Edit -- contacted dev about issue and received a response the same day. Fix will be released in the next update. This is next level service, well deserved 5 stars

For a free app can’t complain. Last I checked it was missing witch bolt from the spells list and doesn’t have a multiclass option I could find so I still need to track certain details but gets the job done enough that I don’t have to have papers in front of me. Fix those details and I’d call it a solid 5 star. I did really like that I was able to import a pic of my mini from heroforge.

It works and no ads!. Over all it is a great ap for DND players. There are no ads and you can easily add homebrew content as well. My only complaint is their data base is missing some content that is in official DND books, but you can still put it in manually so it’s not that big of a deal. Thank you to the creators, you guys did a great job. I look forward to using this for my next character.

Very useful, but could use improvements.. I really like the UI and simplicity in general of this app. I understand why a lot of content has been lost due to copyright and all that, which is why we’re left to put back in a lot of the content ourselves through the custom creation option. However, there’s a lack of ability to go back and edit custom options which makes this method very hard to use when trying to make new options.

Fantastic App. Just finished my first DND session using this app and it was great! I would highly recommend this app to anyone who wants a digital version of a character sheet that is easy to work with. The only thing that I would like to see added is a section for just notes. For instance, a place to keep notes about the current world I am in or notes about items and mechanics in the game.

It charges you for two different purchases of pro. Basically I've bought the pro subscription on my phone but it will not transfer to my mac and wants me to make a second purchase of pro. Even though I already have it. This feels like a sleezy buisness practice. Besides that the app works great and it a cheaper alternative so take it as you will. Just know if you want pro on both computer and mobile you have to make two seperate purchases.

Love it. App is very good very beneficial for playing and easy to level up the app is quite user friendly and has all of the information about all of the classes and races available. One thing is that it does only 9 races and it only has a select few subclasses. I would recommend this to just about anyone who plays dnd. Like I said though it does only have a select few races and classes and I would like to see that expanded into a larger database.

Missing so much information. They have only limited races, classes and backgrounds. I think we can download more (maybe?) but if so I don’t know where to look. A quick internet search does not help and I think I would need to look through discussion boards. In other words, this app is not ready to use “out of the box.” What content is there already is pretty good. Update: I discovered that downloading the extra info is really easy from Discord. I love the app now.

Best app out there + outstanding service. Beats everything else on the App Store by leaps and bounds. Easy to use and actually gives you spell references in a convenient way rather than flipping back and forth between a character sheet and a reference app. It’s sleek and customizable. I experienced one small glitch so I reached out to tech support. Sam got back to me in less than a minute. Not exaggerating. Personable and easy to talk to. Lots more good things coming. This product is highly underpriced for its value.

Best DnD tracker app. I have tried plenty of free and paid DnD services, but Prism is the most simple and efficient I’ve used. Super well guided character creation, and well worth the price for premium. Being able to import and create more content as well is such a useful asset. I whole-heartedly recommend this app for anyone who might have multiple characters/need to make a character quick. Fantastic app!

Extremely Useful. This is the best dnd character creator app I could find, and it’s saved me so much time with making characters. What would normally take a lot of googling and fact checking now takes a few minutes. I wanted to let the developer know that there is a typo on the 2nd image of the app preview though. Currently it reads “Use a format your familiar with” and it should be “you’re”. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s awesome.

Amazing and user friendly!. Bought this on a whim because I didn’t have any ink to print character sheets. This app is literally the best 3$ I’ve ever spent! I’m still a little new to dnd, but this app laid everything out and made it so simple. I love being able to add to the journal and upload character pictures. It has a lot of races to choose from and sooo much information. Thank you so much for creating this app, I will be using it for all my adventures!

Unusable App. Took me about an hour to figure out how to import additional content from the discord. Without it, the app would’ve been even more useless. Once I finally get to putting in the character from the campaign I am currently on, I find that they don’t include many of the feats from XGE (of which I have two), rendering all the work of inputting info I’ve done to that point useless. So I figure I’ll just change stuff at the end and it’ll be fine right? Wrong. The app completely bugs the regular version of the feats I use and completely muddles the UI. Downloaded way too much stuff and poured a lot of time into this mess of an app. One star

Great app, crashed when changing iPad orientation. I just got the app and am learning how it works. Really enjoying it so far. Two things I noticed: the compendium I downloaded from Discord doesn’t seem to have descriptions of some races, classes, or spells. Second, when I was creating a character, I changed the orientation of my iPad and the app froze and crashed, losing my progress. Now, this may be because I was using the google keyboard which was making the app run a little slower. Other than those two things, really liking the app so far!!

Amazing app. I have been using prismscroll from its early days and it has only improved and gotten better with age. The developer is amazing and so helpful when you encounter issues or have questions. It just the right mix of simple to use and complex and does an amazing job handling character management for sessions.

Info deleting. ** thanks for the response and putting such care into your product. Im excited for the patch. I’m gonna recommend this to all my party members! * it is deleting features and traits, as well as, additional features and traits. I love the app but that’s been happening. Cool app if it works. anytime I type something in a large text box, it gets instantly deleted. It’s been a waste of time.

I love this app I just have one issue.. If I could give 4.5 stars I would but I’m gonna leave it at 4. The new update is fantastic and looks amazing compared to the old format. But when putting in ability scores it only registers to strength so I’ll tap wisdom and put down 11 and wisdom remains blank while strength registers the 11. It’s a small pick but a pick non the less. Other than that I’m loving it and I hope y’all continue to keep up the great work!

Easy to Use But Falls Short. While this is probably the most fluid character creation app out there, with its colorful display and straightforward interface, it is lacking in the many basic PHB options that make this a hard recommendation. Unless I’m just not seeing it, I have no idea how one can upload or even purchase additional content. Speaking as someone who likes to play a Cleric, I do not wish to be restricted to the Acolyte background. Also, rather than utilize a unique character sheet interface, the app simply inserts all the information onto an actual character sheet PDF, which requires a lot of zooming and manipulating when using a smart phone.

Amazing tool for building characters!. I’ve been using this app for a couple years now and I absolutely love it! It’s been an amazing tool to buying characters for D&D quickly and I’ve recommended it to friends that I play with :D 10/10 recommend this for people who are looking for a cheap digital platform to create their characters on (considering D&D Beyond can be quite pricey due to the fact that content requires the purchase of the books).

Solid. Right this app is solid. It is rather bare bones, but it allows for lots of customization to what you are doing at home with your characters, be it Homebrew. I am not playing homebrew at the moment but the ONE issue I have is the inability to add Custom Spells that are in 5e. Such as for example the Ranger Spell Ensnaring Strike. If this is fixed or someone can give me an idea this goes from 3 stars to 4 stars (5 stars are for exceptional work that is far above anything that people can expect, 3 stars are for good and average, 4 is for above average)

Was great! Now Broken. I would love to have given this 5 stars, probably would have, but their latest upgrade broke most of the things that made it amazing. Wish I had never let it upgrade. First, it freezes when you try to adjust the main stat totals (CON, INT, WIS, etc.) Second, cannot adjust the hit points on magical weapons. Third, the option to adding notes to a spell, so you can remind yourself it is a feat etc, is gone...?!? I understand wanting to make the 'paper' version better, but I didn't buy this for a paper version, I can find a pencil for that... I bought it for a digital version.. I would not normall leave a review like this, but I contacted them, got no reponse, and now I am stuck with an app that has been downgraded!

Awesome Game, Overall Preformance AMAZING. So, I’m a D&D nerd 🤓 and a year or two ago, I was looking for a DND creating game, tried one, HORRIBLE only provides 2 races to choose from, then I tried this and AMAZING 🤩 I LOVE IT! It not only lets u make 2 characters EASILY but it also lets u create ur own races, monsters, items, etc., and guess what IT WAS EASY! There’s also prism Pro, haven’t tried it yet, but even without subscription it is AWESOME 😎 10/10 will always use in dnd club!

Great App, Great Support. I have been using this app for a few weeks. The developer is very supportive and he puts a lot of effort into maintaining and improving his app. The custom creation is great for those who like to add their own flavor or simply want to re-create some effects and the character sheet looks just like the paper version, so you should already be familiar with it. Highly recommend!

Simply the best Character Creator. As the forever DM for a bunch of people new to D&D, I paid the $10 for the full version of this app and it may be the best money I have ever spent. Being able to just hand my phone to someone and say “make a character” knowing they are allowed to be as in depth or simple as they want is fantastic. I seriously cannot recon this app enough.

Locked Characters. I opened the app this evening so I could make sure I had all the NPC character sheets I’d need for a campaign I’m resuming tomorrow (I’m the DM) and for someone reason EVERY SINGLE ONE is locked. I have TONS of character sheets I NEED for the campaign and every single one is locked. Most of them for things like the character’s background! I tried hitting unlock and nothing happened. This is extremely annoying and the app has become a complete waste of my money. You should be able to just remove whatever was wrong with the sheet and go back into the editing/creation process! I can’t reroll my stats AGAIN for a character I have in another campaign that I’m a player in. Please make it easier to unlock character sheets.

Devs updated response. Thanks for responding, devs. I’ll admit i was a bit harsh and in the moment with my previous review due to locked characters happening at the worst possible time. I’ve been able to get the character unlocked with some effort. Embedding a video unlocking tutorial would go a long way. Thanks for adding the roll button! Much easier to use the virtual dice now. I’d really like to be able to scroll the text blocks on my sheet without having to fully zoom out the sheet first.

Solid, but Incomplete. The baseline character creation could use work - My first time using the app and I wanted to create a rock gnome wizard. Here were my issues (using Ipad pro): - Could not add all race bonuses (Rock gnome; +1 con, gnome; +2 int) - Could not select arcane schools (Only evocation option, missing the other schools) - Bug with manually entering base stats (Str, Dex, and Con were not registering) and therefore affecting my HP roll later in creation. Eventually I had to roll randomly, then go into completed character sheet and tweak stats. - For magic users, could incorporate spell-slot panel.

UPDATE. Update! The new update was awesome! Thank you for your hard work. This app has been so helpful!!! I have a request, not sure if it is possible/maybe it already is and I just don’t know how to do it, but I think it would be super helpful to be able to share the character I made with my friends/DM who also has this app, rather than having to make my character all over again on their phone. Thank you again for all the stuff you do for us! Definitely a top notch D&D App!

THIS IS AMAZING!!! Worth the purchase.. For anyone who loves to save their characters in style, look no further. This app is, in my opinion, better than D&D Beyond’s Character Creator. It has many features that Beyond has, and this has easy (and fun) to use controls. It allows me to track my characters growth with ease. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to create awesome characters, monsters, or their own home brew creations themselves!

It’s decent. For 2.99 I had hoped for more classes/races/spells. It’s not as up-to-date as some other apps are when it comes to D&D content. I also wish there was a way to order spells by level not alphabetically which is super annoying. Having a spell page of spells you pick out would be nice too. The “favorited” spells thing they have going on is meh at best. It’s very simplistic which might be better for newer players. Also the character sheet zooms out and in weirdly when you press a box to change a number or type. I wish it would just stay put.

Polished, priced to move, perfect. I honestly can’t find a downside to this app or the active workforce behind it. I liked it so much that I just gifted a second copy to a friend. I never do stuff like that (mostly because I can’t afford to). I know full well that if this was released by WotC, they’d charge a small fortune in app unlocks and/or subscription fees. This app is made and continually updated by someone who cares about the material and offers it at a more-than-fair price.
