DQ in Mountain Home Ar. I have never had a worse experience at any DQ. They were out of ice cream.. oh well spent $55 to feed my family. Went to drive up said mobile orders could only be picked up inside. Ok. Went in finally got someone to help since nobody was at the counter. After telling them my order stood around for 35 minutes not exaggerating. Got our food finally and it was all cold except for cheese curds. Chicken fries burgers all cold. Then the burgers had the wrong toppings. Not going back in it was already a huge ordeal. Not one single time did someone apologize for the extreme wait. Horrible customer service entirely. You probably think we’ll they were busy but nope 2 cars in drive up and 2 people in the restaurant when we arrived. Saw at least 7 workers who all seemed to have no idea what to do. Terrible experience and obviously terrible management to not even apologize for the ridiculous wait. Will not return to this place. Close it down if your that bad. And that hurts because I absolutely love Dairy Queen.

Good. I like the app but my problem is , it works good when I’m at home and then when I get to Dairy Queen and it’s only like 5 minutes away the app doesn’t work so I can’t show the cashier the coupon or anything , but when I pulled up to place my order it was there and then when I got to the window the app froze but the lady was nice and gave me my order with the discount but if this keeps happening it will be useless and it happen twice already the first time I didn’t even place the order because it wouldn’t come up at all , and I don’t even hit the confirm button until I’m in the parking lot , because I know that you only have a certain amount of mins to claim your discount. I was in the parking lot when I placed the order but it still froze by the time that I got to the pick up window☺️

Don’t waste your time, just use the drive through. The net effect of this app was essentially nil. Despite ordering ahead through the app, I still had to wait in the drive-through. After going to the drive through I still had to go through the window and the pull aside forward and wait for my food. The food order was not started until I pressed the “I’m here” button which, foolish me, I did when I arrived at the restaraunt. The reason given was to make sure my order was fresh. The actual result is that there is no time saved using this app. If the app had a funtion that indicated whether your location has walk in or requires pick up at the drive through it might be of some value. Unfortunately my local Dairy Queen has no signage indicating how to collect your order once you have use the app. Furthermore, it is apparent that the people who are attending the drive through are not very familiar with the app, though that may be a problem unique to my location. Do youself a favor and just use the drive through.

Just go through the drive through. Ordering in the app for curbside pickup was pretty easy. But then when I got to the store I sat in the curbside parking space for 8 minutes waiting. I tried calling the number for the store as shown on my order confirmation, but nobody answered, and after about 15 rings it said the mobile customer I’m calling is not available. Waited 2 more minutes and looked the phone number up on Google (same number) and called again, still no answer. I saw an employee walking toward my car with nothing but her cell phone in her hand. She asked if I had a mobile order. I said yes. She asked for my name. At this point, I’ve been sitting in one of the three curbside pickup spots for 12 minutes and there hasn’t been a single other car show up, much less another one the same color as mine that I indicated on the order. So I don’t know what the confusion was about, but she told me it’s ready and went to get it. She came back and forgot the drink. By the time I had my denture order, I had been there for 15 minutes. It would’ve been MUCH faster to just use the drive through. And my burger wouldn’t have been cold when I got it.

Horrible !. I have no idea what the purpose of ordering ahead of time through drive-through does anything I showed up on time but since the location was so busy, I had to wait in the drive-through for 15 minutes only to find out that they didn’t even have my order ready yet and that I was supposedly supposed to go in the store for mobile pick up’s. Why do you guys have the option as drive-through when you make us go into the store? Anyways I could have went into the store when I got there in 15 minutes earlier and got my order and left instead, I sat in my car and waited for 15 minutes and almost took out my entire lunch sitting there waiting at Dairy Queen to get my order. I would never order a mobile order again. No point in being proactive.

Huge Burger!!. This burger is by far my favorite of all fast food restaurants.. I just go to a couple of the other places for closest to my house. I happened to be close to DQ so I took some time to visit them- so happy I did- this was my first time using the app, it was easy and food came out faster to me than drive thru!!the person that came to deliver my order was as super clean and professional. I ordered my burger same as I have to everywhere else with “extra” of certain ingredients uhhhh there was no need, this bacon double is so big I need a roll of paper towels and a fork!! Going here much more often from now on.

Cold food. I placed app order in parking lot, went inside to pick up, told it wasn’t ready, said I understand ,just placed my order. Girl asked if I wanted Blizzard now or when order ready, I said when order ready. There were no other online orders, and two groups of people already eating inside. A couple came in and 3 delivery drivers. An order came out and was placed on the counter and an employee started making a bunch of Blizzards and orher drinks, food still on counter. It had been quite awhile so I asked about my order. Turns out the food sitting there for over 20 minutes was mine, but the Blizzard still had not been made! They dropped the ball and blamed me because I told the one employee I had been helped, because I thought I had when I was asked my name and when I wanted the Blizzard. Too much to expect a hot meal after working a long day?

Location not open, listed as it is.. We placed an order for pick up. On the app it says the location is open until 10 o’clock and my order will be ready at 9:15. We pull into the parking lot; lights out, chairs on tables, no cars- they are closed, and have been closed for a minute. So I’m out $25 and no ice cream. I suggest anyone placing a mobile order check the store hours via Google maps or some other source before placing it. Apparently THEIR app,(designed by them)does not list correct hours, and will let you go ahead and place an order to a location that is closed in real life

WHERE ARE THE GUMMY WORMS😭💅🏻. So me and my friend got these blizzards, we got them through the drive thru. I said I would pick the first one! When we got home, I ate and then opened up my ice cream. I was happy cause one gummy worm was at the top, then I kept digging down, I finished my ice cream, AND I ONLY GOT 2 GUMMY WORMS😭 My friend got 9, which she was lucky- Like, why didn’t I get any gummy worms? You can’t just put a lot of gummy worms into one, and then leave the other out:( It tasted so plain, and I loved it WAY more when it has loads of gummy worms!! DQ, please put at least more than 2 gummy worms in a blizzard, because I was really sad.. I would’ve loved the gummy worms in it, and then it would’ve tasted good. Next time, please put at least some gummy worms in peoples blizzard so they don’t have to write another review like this. Thanks for making your blizzards tasty and good, and I hope next time I can get some gummy worms!😉

Customer service. I don’t know who the manager or shift lead or assistant manager that was there tonight or her crew I just wanted to say way to go under pressure! The lines piled in quick and your crew held it together and handled everything with ease and smiles on their faces the entire time just wanted to say thank you and your smiles don’t go unnoticed keep smiling we appreciate you guys!!!!! August 12th close shift! Lady in the red shirt is AMAZING!!!! A very long wait for our order and sadly our ice cream melted before we got home ( ordered food and ice cream for dessert) but ended up waiting to long in the drive thru line but besides that absolutely amazing definitely be back! App is supposed to save time. I ordered through the app in order to have the items available when I arrived. The items that I ordered were a mini blizzard and a cheeseburger with BLandT. The app wouldn’t give me the choice to pick up later, only to order ASAP. Then when I arrived at the slotted time, the pick up had to be inside. No option to get in drive through. After arriving I went inside to pick up and had to tell the people behind the counter three different times that I was picking up an order. The burger was made fresh, but the bacon was undercooked and the tomato was bland, and the overwhelming taste I had was ketchup and dill pickles. Quality wasn’t there, and app options are very limited. Apparently they are also location-specific.

Account setup. This app will not allow me to set up my account through Facebook. When I tried to create an account manually, I received a message that my email address was already on file. I don’t recall ever setting one up, but I thought maybe I did it a long time ago, so I selected, “Forgot Password,” then was instructed to enter my email address. After waiting a while, I requested it again, but nothing came to my email. I checked my junk folder, it wasn’t there, either. I tried to set up an an account with my son’s email address, then received a message that an account was already set up on my device. I then added the app on my son’s phone, went through the process of setting up an account, then tapped, “Continue.” It’s still stuck on that screen. I think there may be a compatibility issue with Apple.

Not enough employees. I used the app to order 3 blizzards on Labor Day. Everybody is off work so you’d think whom ever did the scheduling would account for that and have more people working. Not so. The drive through is backed up, there’s one person doing all of the soft serve orders (blizzards etc.) including the app orders. I used the app and showed up at the time indicated and got snapped at by a manager that “he’s backed up. You’re way down the line!” Then she turned her back on me and walked away. Zero customer care. I was fine with having to wait a little but snapped at me then walking away was rude and uncalled for because I was very polite. And of course I thanked her back as she walked away. So rude. We’re in a recession. I can and will make my ice cream at home. It’s cheaper and less insulting.

Turn off mobile order if you’re going to close the lobby!. I paid for a mobile app order expecting when I come in 20 minutes later to just go inside and grab it and leave, but they have the lobby closed and 15 people in the drive-through and you give me no chance to cancel my mobile order so I have to sit in line for a half hour waiting for something that I should just have been able to pick up as I ordered it well in advance online and came to get it as a mobile order but you make us wait through the drive-through instead for 20 minutes bad customer service and a waste of time!

Needs Work. I continue to have issues with this app. You can’t add a gift card once you have a credit card attached. You can’t special order a hamburger. You can only buy a cheeseburger, remove the cheese (but still pay for the cheese!), and then special order it that way. You don’t get points if you don’t get the app scanned. In other words, your order is NOT tied to your app. This means you have to give your phone to the cashier to have the app scanned (a great way to spread those germs...thanks IT people!). You also cannot get points credited to your account if you forget to have your phone scanned (as in you thought your phone was linked to your app). Even if you have a receipt, it doesn’t matter. Such a frustrating app!

Oh review of app? No review of location. Don’t bother using the app it’s not faster. And from my experience it seems like online orders are thrown together and thrown in freezer behind front counter. When they throw them in the freezer do they even check if customer is stand there, nope. My suggestion literally take the lids off your blizzards before you leave. Previous nights order, my large blizzard was a little bit more that half the cup (more like a medium). Tonights order the blizzard cups were almost full. One item ordered Heath bar nothing custom, looked to be made with chocolate ice cream. I stopped there and just threw it in the freezer someone in the household might be adventurous and try it later. I’m just going back to the grocery store freezer aisle, quantity and quality are predictable.

Treated with respect and food was great!. We eat at many DQ’s and the DQ in Canton South is our favorite. No matter how busy they are the take the time to help you in a pleasant and friendly manner. The prices a reasonable and I’ll take one of their sandwiches and fries any day over Micky D! Our kids and now our grandkids love to go there. We eat first then get ice cream! Sometimes we buy a cake and take it home. The kids that work there work for peanuts and get harassed a lot and the still smile and help each other on big orders and difficult customers. They know who they are! To all the workers at our DQ in Canton South, Pat yourselves on your back, YOU ARE ALWAYS BUSY AND YOU ARE PHENOMENAL WORKERS AND CUSTOMERS NOTICE! App does not work. I downloaded the app to take advantage of the 85 cent blizzards and went through the entire process to create an account just to be met by a “phone has been taken” error message. My wife tried to download it and got the same error. App is unusable if they do not fix the glitch. Update: Developer responded and suggested I use the same information to log in as what I used to originally create the account. The problem is that neither of us have ever created an account before. I tried a third phone number so we are now 1/3 on creating Dairy Queen accounts. Now that I have gotten the app working, I’m finding that it’s really difficult to use the map feature to find out which locations have the deal I downloaded the app for. I will be deleting this app.

I’m sorry to say it.... This app could use a lot of work. It’s confusing and messy. The McDonald’s app and pretty much every other chain app has a pick up time option. I needed to pick up something just before my mom got off but I got old food and watered down soda because it ordered too soon. I also ordered a second time because it didn’t give me the option of reopening the previous order to say I was there so I thought the order wasn’t even placed. Therefore I was charged twice when I only got those meals once. Unfortunately we do live in a time where the amount of money wasted on a second set of meals, that I didn’t even receive, could literally fill my empty gas tank. I have to say this was a waste of my time. The app is supposed to make ordering more efficient and convenient but instead makes it confusing and disappointing.

No pleased with service or app order. I ordered on the app a small Girl Scout Thin Mint blizzard. When I got there I told them I ordered on the app a small Girl Scout thin mint blizzard. The person at the drive in said a what? I repeated slowly what I said and my name Jacqueline Fitzgerald. And he said you ordered what? I started to repeat it again and another lady said I got it you ordered a sm thin mint blizzard. Yes. I pulled up and had to wait to get my order because the person in front of me ordered a large order. I get to the drive up window and waited, and waited. When the lady opened the window she started handing me someone else’s order. I told her no that is not mine. I have the sm. Thin mint blizzard. She looks perplexed and asks someone do we have a app order and she is handed the blizzard with a lid on it. She said I didn’t have you on my order list. I said thank you. I opened the lid and my blizzard was 1/4 melted. 😠 I won’t be going back there again. I’ll get my ice cream from Braums from now on!

Account could not be found?? Used app yesterday!!. **Update-tried to log in AGAIN. Still got error. Figured out (on my own, thank you DQ customer service for not responding to my form request about an app/technical issue.) that when changing passwords, iPhone is saving it 1: under the website of your rewards developer (deleted it but was just some letters, not an actual word. 2: some crazy string of random letters in my email field. Please look into this and make sure nothing concerning is going on with our accounts…..** Went to the app, was logged out for some reason. Got this “An account with that Email Address or Password could not be found. Please try again or visit the Reset Password form” Reset my password through email, still getting the message. I used the app yesterday. I hope I haven’t lost all my points…..

App and store are both trash. This app is trash. I tried to sign up. Can't because my phone number is already taken. I vaguely remember having issues so I probably did abort setup. Did reset password. Then used the reset password and it didn't find that account. Forget it. Not even worth it. I will go elsewhere. The store I was at last night was ridiculous anyway. Line all the way around the building. Employees acting all kinds of lost. One decided after making a blizzard for the people in front of us that she wasn't going to make anymore and would randomly prefer to clean tables. The spray bottle wouldn't work. So while we are waiting for ice cream, she has like 5 people that are supposed to be serving customers messing around with cleaning products and none washed their hands visibly before making our blizzards. The place doesn't run an efficient kitchen. I will go anywhere else next time I want ice cream.

Suggestion. App works as intended, just wish there was a way to cancel your order. I moved across town and when I placed my order, I was actually still ordering to my original DQ location and I didn’t realize it. I placed the order and showed up at the closest location only to find out I order from the wrong location. A) I would have thought the app would have just selected the nearest location to me when ordering, my fault really for not checking. B) and to the main point, I could cancel the order, and so I was still charged price of my order but I never picked it up.

First App order for pickup to eat in. How convenient to figure out what a 3 year old (and I ) want for lunch and order right before I left the house. Cost wise—better than McD’s for what you get! Order was ready, except for the kids ice cream cone (and I admit—nothing worse than trying to get a little kid to eat food with an ice cream staring at them, so being able to delay that is a huge plus! My shake was in the fridge, ready for me at my convenience. The staff member greeted me and told me some things that were available for kids meals to consider, for my next visit (which will be soon!) she was super-nice & helpful! Lastly—the restaurant was spotless! This new DQ is doing EVERYTHING right & I hope they are very successful! Get the app-you will save $$ -lots of specials!

Ugh. Got through making an order and then had a pop up that said currently they weren’t doing curbside at this location even though it was an option for me to select BEFORE I went through and created an order. Why wouldn’t you let me know that before I take the time to create the order. THEN I had to go back and select the option to walk in and get the mobile order and recreate the order. Then I submitted and gave no instructions. Thankfully I looked at an email which had the REST of the instructions. I had to click on a link to submit the order. What in the world?? And then had to also let them know when I got to the store. I was already in the parking lot because the line was so long for the drive through. It’s then that I realized that I couldn’t actually walk in to get the mobile order and had to wait in the drive through line. Seriously? What is the point of mobile order. Just DONT do it. I just left. Take a lesson from McDonalds app or just don’t have one.

Will not let me log in. I previously had this app on my phone but then deleted it because I rarely used it. I reinstalled it to make an online order and tried to sign in. Signed in through Facebook and it took me through a “sign up” process. When I got to the end, it told me my phone number was already taken. Of course it is, because I already have an account through FB. Decided to try using my email instead to sign in. Reset my password and it took me through the same “sign-up” process which ended with the same error. How can I sign on if every time I try to access the app it makes me go through this sign up process and won’t let me proceed because I’m TRYING TO USE MY PHONE NUMBER AND AM ALREADY REGISTERED???? This is so frustrating. I don’t want to order as a guest because I want to get the rewards. Also, there is no place to trouble shoot. What a waste of my time.

Mobile order wait too long. Placed a mobile order and arrived before we needed to pick it up. I noticed my ice cream had already been prepared so it was put into a refrigerator. The first item they prepared was the chicken strip basket. It was made with fries instead of onion rings. None of the other items were ready, when the chicken was ready and the onion rings came up, they were sitting on the counter under the heat lamp, and the other items hadn’t come out. I asked to have those two items so we could start eating. When my husband finished his chicken and he went back to the counter to see where his fries and my chicken strips were. Service is disjointed and haphazard. Two other customers were waiting before us for a while. Another woman came in and placed an order, she waited with us. She received my order of chicken strips with the fries they accidentally made for me. I have been here other times when the Service was better.

Dairy Queen app. Here’s the deal I absolutely love Dairy Queen. I like the fact that you don’t have to spend 3 billion dollars to get to a decent reward and the deals are so/so they could be a little better but they’re decent. What I don’t like is there’s no option to order chocolate/vanilla twist cone on the app and you can’t make simple modifications to things. They legit do not have everything on the menu through the app either. So I have to either call or place the order when I’m in the store and walk up to fix the order. Otherwise the app is pretty decent. I’m sure I’m leaving out something but yes that’s basically the gist.

Unhappy with information and app. The employee at the window was very nice and helpful! When I tried to order the mini blizzard for 85 cents, the app kept giving me the message this offer is not valid on this order. When I drove through and asked at the speaker if I could order 2 mini blizzards for 85 cents each I was told that the offer was only good in the mobile app. I removed everything in my order and started over. I finally drove back through the speaker and explained my problem she told me to show my app at the window. I find out I can’t order 2 mini blizzards only 1 and the second one can be any other size. It has taken me 28 minutes so far to get my order of two blizzards. One employee didn’t listen to my question ir she just gave me bad advice. The second person figured out the problem. It has taken entirely too long to get two blizzards Cyndi Geisen.

I have had enough!! Ugh!. I have been an avid advocate for DQ & have spent literally THOUSANDS of dollars on your frozen dessert treats over the past 2 years alone. I get DQ at least once a day, sometimes more...Well, that’s going to change immediately if something is not done to compensate the troubles I have had now with this app. Every time I order it has screwed my order up so badly it’s beyond being able to fix. I keep forgetting to check the order, but by the time I get back to consume the frozen deliciousness the order is so mixed up, wrong items and/or incorrectly personalized. I have complained to the general manager 3 times now but keep getting told it’s your app not sending the orders in to your dessert artists correctly. They told me to contact your relations team as I have wasted so much money trying to use the convenience within the app but has made it so difficult to continue. Might just start going to Sonic Daily if this isn’t fixed and made right...Come on boys!

DQ you need to work on this app !!!. Have been DQ fans since we first visited in Texas back in the 1980s... we look for DQ as we travel, the app helps BUT it’s not always feasible to go to a “participating store” for the reward scan... needs to be a way for us to manually enter the register receipts info, to get our points... other food apps offer this feature why not DQ ??? As for the 15 minute countdown, I strongly advise y’all to NOT accept the offer until you are face to face with the cashier or drive thru window staff... that way you won’t lose out !!

Excellent burger and fries. It was busy when I went to pick up order. Instead of making order on line customers wait in long line you should have a separate pick up spot. DQ employees should greet customers as they walk in and if you know you have an order ready and waiting, be more aware. I was early for pick up and my food was ready before pick up time so overall I feel like this DQ did a good job. The pop at this location isn’t the best. Needs more carbonation and less water maybe?

Messed up items/order. I asked for extra topping and did not get it. I had to pay extra for that. It The Diet Pepsi and Dr. Pepper did not taste right. I asked for added onions on a burger and they added pickles which we asked to remove, and still no onions. We got the pretzels and queso with no queso dip. The order was not ready when picking up, which is not a big deal if it were all correct. Then needed to ask for the ice creams and drinks as they were not being given at pick up. We love Dairy Queen and usually NEVER have an issue with the food. We usually talk it up on how great it all is!! The last two times ordering and picking up have been kind of a waste. I did not complain the last time because mistakes happen, but this time its a lot of things and same people. Unfortunately was not satisfied as we usually are. A little disappointed and hoping its just a fluke or a few bad days. Fingerscrossed.

App Freezing Issues. Just gotta get this out of the way: some of y’all are really dumb coming on here and complaining about your order issues from a particular store, or that a certain item was not available, or how long your wait was…etc. That is NOT the app’s fault! 🙄 That’s your specific store location’s issue. Add your review to that specific DQ’s location on Google reviews, not the freaking App Store. The app creators cannot fix your 20 minute wait or some poor customer service - SMH 😑 Anyway, with the APP itself, I’ve noticed that when I click on a notification (like a new deal is available that week, for example) and it directs me to the app, the app freezes on the blue loading screen and never pulls up the rest of the app to use and you have to kill it. And then even after killing it and opening it back up, it still doesn’t load to actually use the app - it just stays frozen on the blue loading screen. I actually just deleted the app and re-installed it to try and get that to work, and it asked me to login. So I did, but now it’s permanently loading on the login screen and won’t put me through to the app. So I think it just needs some performance & bug fixes somewhere.

Completely wrong order. I was pretty disappointed in our DQ tonight. I ordered ahead, knowing they can be busy on a Saturday night, even in winter. I arrive 20 minutes after the mobile order. Wait in line another 5-8 minutes. Find out they can’t make the banana split because they have no bananas. Fine. Order a blizzard to replace it. We then proceed to wait 10 minutes at the window for that one change. Get our order and pull away. In the dark car, I thought all was right to find out 2 of the 3 ice creams were wrong. Also, the fries were hard and cold. The replacement blizzard was the only thing they got right, but technically wasn’t our first choice. Our DQ is tasty and we love it and go often. I understand mistakes happened but I am a big frustrated with my wasted money.

Rude workers. When I got my items I opened them up as I always do to make sure that they are correct before I leave the store. And two of the three blizzards were not even full so I asked the young lady behind the counter if she could go ahead and actually fill up our ice cream cups for us. The one blizzard was a heath blizzard and it clearly had hot fudge in it and not chocolate syrup as the ice cream was melted inside. I also ran a local DairyQueen for seven years so I know the difference between chocolate syrup being put into a blizzard and hot fudge being put into a blizzard. I was very polite to the young lady and She acted like me asking her nicely to correct my order was the end of the world. I was once again reminded why I don’t go to DairyQueen anymore. Literally the only reason I went there was to get a heath blizzard for my husband and now I am frustrated because I know it was made in correctly.

Great Service. On August 10, 2023 at approximately 9:42 PM, I made an order for a combo and a drink. Once I realized that they closed at 10 o’clock I called the store to try to cancel my order. When I spoke to the young lady about my reason for canceling, she said there was no problem whatsoever, and that they would have my meal hot and ready for me when I got there. My wife picked up the order and the order was as promised. The fries were crunchy and hot. The burger was hot and delicious. These kids that work there could’ve easily said no problem will cancel the order for you, but they didn’t. What a great job. This is why I love Saint Cloud Dairy Queen so much. Great job guys. Won’t Let me Sign In 😡. There was a new update. Like all new updates, they make you sign in again. It’s really frustrating because I’ve tried to sign in multiple times, but it keeps making me go through sign up. I already have an account. So, every time I try to sign in, my phone number and location are always “taken”. No, duh. I’ve tried uninstalling the app, it’s still the same. I tried continuing as a guest, still the same. I even tried signing in through Facebook, still the same. I’m just constantly being forced to sign up a create a new account. I would love to make a new account, but I only have one phone number. I’ve already contacted DQ about this and they only told me to delete the app and install it again.

Can’t add receipt to rewards? Not all menu options available?. Unlike other great fast food apps, the fact that you can’t add a receipt to your rewards after sale is absolutely ridiculous. Couldn’t order through the app because a cherry dipped cone my daughter wanted wasn’t an option. Yet, they’re available at the location I patronized. So, when I got there I forgot to have them scan the my rewards barcode at the drive-thru. Mainly because DQ idiotically gives you ice cream first, when you order regular food, instead of last. So, you know, trying to keep the melting ice cream from getting all over the place was a higher priority. The almost 5 star ranking is beyond stupid. All menu options aren’t available for locations even when they have them and no after the fact receipt adding. Yeah… I’d rate the app high too. Sarcasm.

Question about APP. We have been buying $50 Dairy Queen gift cards at Giant Eagle for many years. That not only gets us the delicious Dairy Queen treats that everyone in our family loves, but a few cents from Giant Eagle for gas purchases. However when I ordered through my app it would only take a credit card, not a gift card. I was not happy about that. I think the app needs a section where you can communicate what you have to say, not just choose the option that Dairy Queen gives you. My example is we always get a peanut butter parfait with chocolate ice cream. In spite of ordering that on the phone last time, we got the standard parfait with vanilla ice cream. Since my fiancé has been getting these for several years, he didn’t take the time to look at his order until he got home. He was extremely disappointed, and I felt that we should’ve had a way to avoid that. We absolutely love your treats, and the app was a fantastic idea, but we hope you’re going to iron some of the wrinkles out! Thank you.

Employee ZERO help with App. I tried to use the app to order at ‘my’ store but couldn’t find chicken tenders - went in and they said their store does not have hot meals - just pretzels and some other items. So I switched stores on the app - I added the half price offer for a chicken tender meal and ordered the meal but no discount was applied. I went ahead and ordered as I had about a 10 minute drive to the other location. I went in to pick up my order and asked the clerk what I had done wrong that the discount was not applied (I only ordered tonight because of the email DQ sent me about the special). She said she doesn’t use the app and couldn’t help me ….. ok …. how am I supposed to get help? I did upgrade to a shake …. could that cause the discount not to work? I love Dairy Queen and downloaded the app hoping to enjoy some rewards this summer! I will continue to enjoy DQ - just frustrated with the app and lack of service tonight but I love Dairy Queen!

Items not even on the menu. We ordered dipped comes on the app. We get to the store and they don’t even offer two of the flavors that were the only options available in the app aside from chocolate dipped. This made for a change in number of ordered cones. I would like to have added to the order instead but also nothing was said about it being a franchise and mobile order issue. A refund is not an option unless I call some number and she said she would give it to me but didn’t. I left with no order because it was ridiculous and ticked off because I’d the situation. You couldn’t even get a whole sentence out to the manager on duty and she was twisting my words. We will NEVER do this again. First time using this app and last time.

Disappointed Birthday Treat. Good day Dairy Queen, I received a happy birthday email from you and went to my local Dairy Queen to get my buy one/get one free birthday gift offer. The lady working at DQ denied my getting the same size as purchased for free (large Oreo cookie blizzard). She said I was only entitled to the mini/super small blizzard. This was a big let down and two of my guess opt not to support your business based on the bait and switch being pulled . I did purchase the large and got the mini for free because my son was excited for DQ; but I want you to know I am disappointed with the tactic that was used to get me into your business. Please let me know how you would feel if I treated you like this. (I am a DQ member, please look up Number for communication info so you keep my privacy and I have my receipt if you need more information. ) Thanks and have a nice day.

Good luck trying to find a store that accepts the app or if it does, it’s “currently out of order.”. I’ve been all over the US, most recently Colorado, Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, Montana... and no store I’ve visited has the capability take the app and the one store I was at in Minnesota, said it was “out of order” and couldn’t accept any coupons from the app or redeem any rewards. How is this helpful? I emailed to request a list of stores that will take the app, and was told Dairy Queen doesn’t have that information and it is often up to each individual store. Why go through all of this if so few stores can accept the app? It’s a disgrace to Dairy Queen as a whole, a disservice to the poor stores that can’t take it and seems to really tick of customers who go to a Dairy Queen thinking they can take the app. This is the only app I have where stores have no clue what I’m talking about with this app or flat out don’t accept it. Are you trying to tick people off?

Ripoff. Don't bother claiming your deal until you are in the act of showing it to the cashier. We placed our order and right as we approached the cashier I accepted the deal (it had to be used within 15 minutes) but before I could show it to the cashier a notification came through on my phone which caused the deal to go away and the app would not allow it to be opened again. Cashier didn't believe the deal when we explained what happened. Contacted DQ online and they suggested I make sure the app was up to date (we downloaded the app while in line before placing our order!) And make sure location services were on (chose the store before looking at deals). No explanation as to why our unexpired offer was no longer available. Terrible app! ETA - the company replied regarding using the coupon within 15 minutes which I completely understood at the time. I'm disgruntled because there is no indication that if you navigate away from it for any reason that in so doing you will invalidate the coupon.

Need for tools for the employees. Coming from a employee standpoint it needs more. With the discontinuing of the summer blizzards some we are already out of them like the peanut butter puppy chow and s’mores. However they are still on the app so people can still place a order for those blizzards. Also we do have things go out of stock but again they can still order it. What I suggest is being able to call the customer like doordash. That way if something is out of stock then we can call them and ask what they want instead of having to wait until they get there and making them have wait longer even though they ordered ahead.

Sign in Issues. Yeah. So I used the app for a while, no problem. I moved though and the only DQ around didn’t use the app, so I deleted it. I’ve moved again and redownloaded it since I can use it at the nearby DQ. As I was signing in, it was taking me more through a sign up process. I went with it, and as I’m finishing it, it says I can’t continue because my phone number is already in use on another account. Not really sure why this issue should be popping up at all. Not sure why as I’m trying to sign in, it seems it’s having me sign up a new account and I can’t even use the app. This is made even more frustrating by the fact that I’m an active DQ employee. You guys gotta get something figured out there. No reason I should be having sign in issues since I already have a past account.

Restaurant was filthy. Typically we go through the drive thru but today decided to go in. Big mistake. The restaurant was filthy. The area behind the counter was disgusting with ice cream just setting in the tray under the ice cream machine, the ingredients added to the blizzard were all open and much of it spilled on the counter top, dried up brown pieces of bananas were left to rot on the counter top and that is the areas in view of the customer. Imagine what the grill area was like. Will be a very long time if ever before we return. And before all you social warriors come to their defense, we were the only ones in the restaurant and one car pulled up into the drive thru as we entered so they were not too busy to clean. Sorry to say but we ordered our food anyway. Big mistake. French fries were soggy as if the sat in cold grease as was the cheese curds, chicken strips under cooked and shakes tasted spoiled.

Good experience. The app is user friendly. It would be better if they would tell you that when you choose one of the deals; that it will be applied once you choose to checkout. I used the free medium drink with any purchase and had to figure out how it works. I had to go back to menu, select a medium drink, and add to cart. It showed a price for the drink all the way through checkout process up to entering payment. The drink never showed free, a discount for the cost of the medium drink was applied when ready to pay. That was a little confusing. Other than that, app worked well

STILL can’t log in … since May. I haven’t been able to log in since an update to the app in May. I have tried reach out to DQ’s customer service and they told me I created my account by connecting it to my Facebook account and I should use that option to log in. I’ve been trying that but it still takes me though the steps of creating a new account when it comes back to the app from trying to log in via Facebook. When I enter my info to “verify it’s correct” it tells me that the phone number is already in use. I explained this to DQ’s customer service and they told me not to create a new account. I’m not trying to, that’s just the only option it gives when it comes back from “logging in via Facebook”. I have a couple thousand points that I can’t access. I can’t set up a new account either because I only have one phone number and it says it’s already in use. Maybe add an option to let people login using their phone number or something, too. Or a way to recover/reset your password if you created your account by connecting it to your Facebook account. I am SO frustrated and have been a loyal DQ customer for years. I just keep getting the run around.

False advertising. I was shocked to find out that after listening to the radio station promote and advertise the $1.00 blizzard deals and telling listeners that people should stock up and go buy blizzards and freeze the They even were saying they were going to buy 10 blizzards and so that as there was not much you could get now adays for $1.00 and no mention of an app needed. To only take my three grandkids there to find out that the app only was good for 1 blizzard … so instead of buying 5 (2 for adults) we only bought 3… so really DQ … you do the math …. You lost out on this deal…. And trust me … next I am calling the radio station to let them now …. And that they should stop doing advertising for a company that has a sale for 2 weeks but can only buy one …9one time

Completely Useless if Yor Local DQ Doesn't Offer Online Ordering. If your local DQ doesn't offer online ordering then don't bother with this app. I downloaded it just to look at the menu so I could decide what I wanted before going and because my local DQ doesn't do online orders it won't even let me look at the menu. You can't even select your DQ if you can't order online. I just want to know what my DQ offers! I'm not trying to order online! Some people like to plan ahead before going to get food, especially those of us with anxiety or other mental health disorders, but it's impossible to do if we can't even pull up a menu for our local establishments!

Not worth the hassle. There are so many bugs and errors with this app, it deters me from going to DQ. I’ve downloaded, deleted, reinstalled, updated, signed in/ out and have Favourited a store. 9/10 times an “unknown error” occurs with trying to get deals and/or trying to place an order. I keep hoping the bugs will be fixed but its been going on for months. Sadly, DQ has lost some of our business as a result of this app

Lacking deals. The App works fine. They have your information and can track your purchases. It’s annoying that the app lacks deals. Only when the coupons are out, you get deals. Not everyone gets the same deals as coworker lives out of town of a DQ gets deals on the app and i live by a DQ and no deals except the stupid buster bar. I have to wait for coupons. And all in store specials are for two people (BOGO). I don’t always eat for two and the prices are not worth what you get. Make the app worth opening. Offer deals otherwise it’s not worth bothering going to DQ when there are other places.

Milkshake straws useless. You need biggeri inside diameter straws for milkshakes

Small glitches. The app has been working better than before, thanks to the developer for working on it! However, I can't order from my favourite location because when I go to choose a combo, and then select a soft drink for the combo after choosing a side, the arrow that takes you to soft drink size selection etc. is missing for seemingly only my favourite location. So then, I can only choose soft drink but no size or type of soft drink and an error message pops up when I try to add the order to cart stating that I need to choose a size. Other locations don't seem to have this problem. The problem also doesn't exist when I choose a Blizzard treat or something else at my favourite location, only when I choose a soft drink.

Sometimes works….. So frustrating it doesn’t save cc info when you click to save. Why not just accept Apple Pay or PayPal and it wouldn’t matter? At least all locations seem to accept the app now, just would be much better if cc worked…

APP. Trying to get the APP is not as simple as others. Making it very distracted!!

Nope. No offers on the app, this is completely useless. Why would people use this if there are no benefits or incentives? You should get a free blizzard for just signing up.

Poor worker. Never got my order! All they had was brown bananas. One girl working the drive thru and front counter. Not fair. Last time I went there it was the same thing long waits because the drive thru is more important. Need more staff and proper items for your orders.

I found out why “Deals” tab doesn’t work.. First off, the original app was way better. This one always glitches. I have seen many other reviews with the same problems I have and the developer responses are ridiculously unhelpful. The “Deals” section always shows an error message and I found out why. It’s because I am not in a close proximity to a DQ restaurant. Once I get closer to one, the deals tab finally works. They need to change this so people that are not close to a DQ can check the app in advance for good deals. This part is worse though. I used a blizzard coupon of “BOGO for 1.99”. I bought three blizzards: 2 x size Med, one Snack size for my daughter. When their system calculated the discount it specifically took the lower discount by reducing this cheaper snack blizzard to be only 1.99, and did not take the discount off the second medium blizzard. It was a difference of only saving $2, when I should have been able to save $4. Yah it’s small, but the principle behind this tells me that they are not looking out for the customer first. C’mon DQ, where is the integrity in that? When people use your coupons they are always going to be trying to get the maximum fair benefit possible within the coupon stipulations. This just rubbed me the wrong way as a shady business practice. When I asked the cashier why the discount was so low, she just replied “sorry that’s just the way it is”. Needless to say, I cancelled me snack size from the order, paid, the. Bought the second snack size separately. DQ, you’re going downhill here. Please re-think your strategy and whomever you contracted to make this app.

Garbage app. I tried the developers fix👎🏼. Tried deleting and reinstalling app, to no avail. Biggest issues i see is that even thou I downloaded the CANADIAN app, it still asks for enter city,state,zip code! HELLO DEVELOPERS, canada HAS city’s, PROVINCES, and most importantly postal codes. Clearly an AMERICAN made app, c’mon developers and get to know the rest of the world than just thinking that America is the status quo!

Saanich Centre DQ. Ordered off the mobile app, as I only have 1/2 hr for lunch and give s me more time to sit down and eat inside. I ordered a cheese burger. Second to last bite I bite down on a staple. It was surprising and painful at the same time. I fished it out and brought to the counter person to let them know. He wanted to give me more food. I was totally turned off food and was worried I chipped my tooth. I rushed out of there but when I got back to work and shared my experience with my colleagues they said I should have spoken with a manager. That suggestion wasn’t offered to me though so I am concerned my incident will not be followed up with. Too be honest not sure what can be done for it to not happen to another person. I guess its similar to a bbq bristle from a brush. I guess I am just grateful I didn’t ingest it and have more issues down the line.

Points expiry. It would be nice if the app said when your points are going to expire and send you a notification. The history does not go as far back as a year.

Other app was much better. Over 500 reviews saying this app is garbage. Developer replies “technical difficulties are frustrating”. WHO THE HELL releases a crap app, does nothing to make sure it works, and then replies with that line of garbage? Who did you pay to make this garbage app, go back to them and slap them across the face and scream at them to fix it already as now DQ sucks. I haven’t gone to DQ because of this garbage app. I wish all locations would be avoided by all as DQ deserves nothing (no money, no customers, no business). How dare you! Other app always gave deals and notifications. This one took forever to load as didn’t work as update. There is no transfer or merge option. And now there is no deals. It’s just to show me nearest dq and nothing else. I want the other app up and running again! Developer said it takes time for points and it doesn’t WORK, no deals ever. Garbage app 3rd time to “fix”. Was told delete and reinstall. Sign out and sign in. Total garbage. Done bother to install its garbage and deals never work (they don’t load).

Top layer blizzard. Like the subject says, just had a top layer blizzard tonight. Once we all got through the top Layer of our blizzards (all 4) it was just plain ice cream, no fillings. Completely disappointing.

Disappointed. Unable to load the location & keep the nearby DQ. I typed in correct location. App insists it’s one over 5 km away. I know that franchise offers specials others do not. When I close the app without accepting that location, app deletes all my data. Unhappy former employee. 😔

Can’t add Gift card. The whole reason I downloaded this was so that I didn’t have to worry about losing my gift card, but I can’t find anywhere to add it. When I select “chose payment method” I can only put in a credit or debit card, not a gift card. I have searched on the internet, and I can’t find anything about adding a gift card. While the points system will be useful, I am frustrated about being unable to add a gift card.

Discounts not always accepts. Cool that a lot of restaurants don’t accept it or that the scanner doesn’t work nor the 5 number pin. Feels like a bait and switch, offer great deals you can’t redeem.

Disappointing Night Turned Amazing. I was very excited to get a $1 blizzard with some friends and we were devastated to find out that it takes 24 hours to download coupons. Love dq, but this put a real damper on what was supposed to be a blizzard night. Hope this helps UPDATE It takes a big man to admit when he reacts too rashly in the face of no blizzards, and I am that big man. The coupons appeared just now, we’re going to dq and can’t wait, dq forever!

Stores don’t support the points. It would be nice if the stores actually scanned the code for the points. Haven’t been able to get points in all the dairy queens I’ve visited this year.

Service not great. I had enough points to purchase a small blizzard so I decided to get the Red Velvet cake in a mobile order and then proceeded to the restaurant. I followed someone else in because this brand new location does not have an option on the app for pick up outside. We waited over 5 minutes before someone acknowledged the person in front of me because she was busy working the window and seemed to be by herself. Finally two other crew members seemed to just be getting on the floor and one of them came over to wait on the woman in front of me. By now it had been about 10 mins since we were standing there and there were now 3 other people behind me waiting. When it was my turn I showed them that I used my points in a mobile order and asked them for it and this man who was a crew member told me they didn’t have any. Last week I went through the drive thru and got the same answer. In any case, I asked him why they were promoting it if they don’t have it and he raised his voice and told me that he doesn’t make the decisions, he is not a manager and head office makes the decisions. To be fair, at this point I also ended up raising my voice and asked them to reimburse my points and I was told that they cannot do that. Then the man told me to wait and spoke to the manager on duty who ended up being the person working the window. She brought me out the red velvet cake blizzard that I had asked for and told me that we are not supposed to do this but here you go. I thanked her for giving it to me and the man was behind the counter and I thanked him as well but he just smiled and shook his head. I find it concerning that an employee would treat a customer like this but I’m actually more concerned that your company is lying about whether or not you have product. I’ve been to this Amherstburg location several times and only once did I have an experience without any drama. I likely won’t be going back to this location even though it’s in my town. The experiences that I have personally had before and that I’ve heard from others, I wouldn’t be surprised if it closed within the next couple of years. I hope management and crew members will be better trained and stop lying about not having product.

No deals. I saw an ad for this app that listed some great deals. I downloaded the app and had zero deals. Not impressed.

No Apple Pay. Get with the times

No deals in Canada , don’t bother downloading the app. They say there are deals in Canada but I haven’t saw any deals yet. Their reasoning for no deals is that app “Acts up” Multiple comments mentioned that there are no deals before. Does that mean your app always “acts up” or does it mean you haven’t even bothered making it properly. Why mentioning deals then? Haven’t found a store that supports ordering. What’s the point of releasing an app to Canadian market if it does not even work? I can look up locations using Maps, I don’t need your app for that. If I could I would put zero stars.You have tools to do it properly but choose to not care instead.

The app is fine generally, but you can't change the flavor or ice cream on anything (shakes, blizzards, sundaes, even the cones). Honestly, I think it's so annoying and just doesn't seem to make any sense. I don't think it would be that difficult to add those options. I only ever use the app to scan for points. The deals are usually pretty good so I gave it an extra star, but I would never use it to order ahead because I literally cannot get what I want.

Great Experience with DQ App. DQ just opened in our neighborhood yesterday. Decided to stop and bring dinner home so I started to order online and the website mentioned the app. The app works great! Very easy to use. It noticed that I was quite a distance from the store from which I was ordering and verified that I was ordering from the correct store and then offered to keep track of how close I was to the store and time my meal so that it was fresh and hot when I arrived. Dinner was perfect! Great app and a great new DQ!

Poor service at the Russell Springs DQ. In accident I listed an order as a inside order and went in the drive thru line. Unlike the McDonald’s app you cannot change from inside to drive thru once an order is placed. When I went to the window I explained that I was sick and had Covid-19. She said it was against policy and I should make sure to cough all around when I go inside. I asked for the manager when I entered and explained what occurred and she laughed at me and said that she didn’t know why she could have just handed me the order. It was literally 6 feet from her window where the pickup is. I am very disappointed. Jack Blankenship

The phone number already in use. I reinstalled I tried logging in with my email and Facebook. It has been so long I can’t remember which way to I created an account. I went to the website to login, I ended up with man account but I don’t think it’s my old one. I was going to delete the account and start over, this phone number requirement and not able to access my old account it keeping from accessing the app. If you can tell me how to delete my old account so I can create a new one that would be great I tried the reset password for both Facebook and email accounts and it is not taking it.

Not bad. We ordered 4pc chick dinner a single stack house and a coney dog with cheese. The app said 12 min for pick-up and I was there at 12 min later. Needless to say my order was NOT ready. Seems they dropped the ball on the chick strip basket. I waited and waited for 15 min finally my order was finished and I was out the door. Getting home my French fries were soggy and bearly cooked the strips I needed to air fry with the French fries to get them eatable. Other then that poor attempt the rest of my order was cold. I’ll give them an other chance someday not soon tho.

Ice cream super soft, poor customer service!. I ordered a free mini blizzard with the app points and after waiting for ten minutes, I was told the ice cream was soft and it needed to freeze for four or five more minutes. I waited for another five minutes and they gave me my order with the lid on in a sealed bag. I asked if it was frozen enough and the girl acted like she didn’t know (since she was covering up the thin ice cream) so I opened the bag and took the lid off and my blizzard looked like milk in a cup. I said I’d like a refund of my points, and she said she couldn’t do that. So then she made me another mini blizzard and it was thin again, but I didn’t have time to wait for the third time. Very frustrating experience!

Why order ahead??. I placed an order online to pick up at DQ. When I got to my location, the door was locked so no one was allowed inside even though the app said to pick up in there. I got in line for the drive thru while calling the store and they confirmed I had to go through the drive thru. Isn’t that why I placed my order ahead? I mentioned that to the girl at the window and she just laughed it off. While I waited, the signage said “blizzards served upside down since 1985”. Not mine tonight or any other time and no additional stuff on top. Tired of the high prices, false advertisement and low quality of products at DQ. The blizzards never look like they do on TV.

Lobby isn’t open, doesn’t answer the phone. I made an order to pick up in the lobby. When I got there, there’s a sign on the door saying that the lobby is not open. There’s only drive-through. I tried calling to ask why, no one answers. There’s an extremely long and slow line for the drive-through. I don’t like going through the drive-through, because I got stuck last time and it messed up my front passenger wheel. I would like a refund, but no one is answering the phone or coming to the door. I’m guessing they are shortstaffed, but this is very, very, very poor customer service.

App. I wish there were a place to customize the blizzards from vanilla to chocolate base. I also could not find the offer that is in the store, ie: ckn basket add blizzard for addl cost deal. After ordering from app I went in to change base in store. Blizzards were made right away but 2 ckn baskets sat under heat lamp for 10 min after the kitchen person told told the front Register person it was not mine but for a door dash order. My order taker was very attentive and offered me a free drink while I waited. I know these things happen. But it was for a friend and fries were soggy and cold and blizzards melted. I will be back. I want to try a cupcake cup. The front end clerk talked it up and said they were great.

Terrible app-don’t waste your time downloading. Maybe it’s just me but does anyone else actually use the app? EVERY SINGLE TIME I’ve gone to Dairy Queen and opened the app to find a deal to use I come up empty handed. I don’t know if maybe it’s just my app or my location but I NEVER and I mean not even once have had a deal that was something different than what is normally offered. Every time I open it there’s only like 4 “deals” and they aren’t even exclusive to the app. I literally get the same deal by just regularly ordering. I’ve tried so many times to find a purpose for this app and each time have come up empty handed. To say I was disappointed in this app would be an understatement. There is seriously no use for this app. It’s a waste of time and space. THERE IS NO PURPOSE TO THIS APP-DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!!

App is useless in my area. I only get food apps to use the online ordering feature and skip the “um let me look at the menu” step of ordering in person. I figure out what I want, pay for it, and don’t have to speak to a human about what I want. I love that. Every single location near me says online ordering not supported. That might be tolerable if I could use the app to figure out what I want and go pick it up real quick. But no, in order to even see a menu you have to select a location that supports online ordering. So, the one single purpose I could use the app for would be to scan the codes when I buy stuff in person to get rewards points…that I can’t spend on mobile orders. No thanks, I’ve deleted the useless app.

Dairy Queen on oakshire north side. Ordered 4 blizzards on the app- one Choco brownie /one butterfinger / and 2 Reese’s with extra Reese’s - order said it would be ready at 7:58pm - arrived about 8:02 and order was not ready- waited until 817pm and finally got the order - both Reese’s blizzards had barely any Reese’s candy/and we’re about 3/4 full not even full for a small - they charge extra for an added topping/candy that’s fine but then it has less topping/candy than even normal / super disappointing and service was horrible waiting over 20 minutes for an order that’s supposed to be ready at a certain time - horrible customer service and was overall disappointing-

Levittown. The bathroom had not been serviced, only one stall was available, the accessible stall was locked with no occupants. When I brought this to the attention of the supervisor she stated that kids lock it. I informed her that it has been unavailable on Monday afternoon also. She continued to state kids do this, and acted if this was acceptable. I think the bathroom needs to be checked and the door to the accessible stall kept open.

New app update is slow. I was prompted to get the DQ app update. Once the update was completed I logged in and it took over 5 minutes to just open the app. then 5 minutes to pick the location. I got the Dilly Bar of death when trying to order as when U selected and item it would not load and I received a error multiple times. Frustrated I just gave up and left

Worst restaurant promotional app ever. I wish I could give this 0 stars. I really wanted to enjoy 85¢ blizzards in the rewards section. I signed up and there they were. When I clicked on the section I continually got messages saying that I had no rewards available. “How could this be?” I wondered. I had only just gotten the app. I checked in with other people I knew who have the app and they have the same issue. I tried numerous times to make accounts but all ending in the same result. Trust me don’t waste your time with any food rewards system that isn’t Chic-fil-A’s. They are the only restaurant chain the truly has the competency to develop a worthwhile app.

App doesn’t work!!! DQ staff refused to help!. Tried numerous times to order on various devices on two different occasions. App drops order once you press on cart to pay. Called our DQ and they refused to take the order over the phone even though the app wasn’t working. They claimed the only way to order was via car in the drive-through or via the app. My son wanted to order one ice cream and they refused to help. He was planning to walk up for it and doesn’t drive. Not only did they refuse service to him but the young woman was extremely sarcastic and rude on the phone too. Not only did we get totally turned off by the app but refuse to give DQ our $$ any longer.

App sometimes doesn’t work. Usually the app gives me no problem when I’m at the store and redeeming the deals the app offers. Today I was about to use my birthday BOGO deal I was offered but the app wouldn’t let me click redeem when I was at the store. Definitely not a connection issue since I even tried reloading and reopening the app. I ended up buying my two items full price. But later that day, I got home and the BOGO coupon was clickable finally to redeem but I was already back home.

Mobile ordering is ridiculous. Just tried placing a mobile order for something simple (chicken basket and a blizzard), first, I couldn’t get into the mobile order for curbside pickup because I couldn’t select my vehicle (white SUV) because it would give me an error message. After answering the same 2 questions on a “manual entry” screen I got to the mobile order. When on the mobile order I was given a range of blizzards to choose from, but not one that I wanted, and regardless of looking all over the menu, I couldn’t find it. This is not the first time that mobile ordering has been messed up, and I’m sure it won’t be the last, previously the app didn’t give me the $3 discount for ordering more than $10. Get it together!

Gift card sales but can’t use on mobile app ??. Soooo my family was given almost 300 bucks worth of DQ gift cards after my son was diagnosed with leukemia. Worked great for the first time going into the store and ordering food and paying. Then corona came a calling and my family is on lockdown with outside contact. I thought the app would be a wonderful thing for ordering and pickup with all these gift cards ! Well unfortunately there are two problems. One is only a single location out of the 12 near us accept the app for ordering. The other issue is the app doesn’t even allow for mobile gift card payment. This is comical and hopeful fixed soon.

I love the app, but.... I love the Dairy Queen app and the rewards feature is nice and all; however, it stopped being convenient when they removed Apple Pay and now only let you use a credit card in the app. I'll be honest; this removal of a feature has caused me to go to DQ less because I can't order ahead and pick up and it's harder to use deals (especially mobile Monday). Please add back this much wanted feature. Thank you!

App is useless if it won't work!. The app is useless after the latest update. It signed me out the first time. I was able to do forgot my password and sign back in but not fast enough in the drive-through to earn points for my $30+ order. But I was at least signed back into the app now. Went again to drive-through tonight, same thing. Kicked out of the app. Only tonight, every time I try to sign in or click forgot password or even leave feedback for the app, I get user execution error messages. The app is useless if nobody can use it. Again missed out on earning points on a $30+ order.

Awful service, gave us blizzard milk and messed up on the order. Lately the service at bloomer dq has been absolutely awful, we stopped ordering food there because its cold, not fresh and takes forever. I think this was the last straw on ordering treats and ice cream. We had a online order for 4 blizzards. We Walked In To pick it up and the workers were in a awful mood, throwing a fit chucking stuff around and in the garbage, not polite whatsoever. Our blizzards were like milk, we asked to re make one and one girl was super rude about it, but she did it, when we left we tried them and they were the ones we ordered. We are very unsatisfied with the service lately.

Not The App You Want for Rewards/Points. I recently had 132 points expire without knowing. I created a support ticket because I normally receive an email notifying me in advance that points are expiring. The app support team was a waste to even ask about this. Unlike competitor apps like Taco Bell, Starbucks, etc that will gladly restore expired points as a courtesy, Cristian from DQ support did not so much as attempt to make the situation better and coldly stated points cannot be reissued after expiring. They went on to read off their policy regarding point expiration and absolved themselves of the issue so he did not have to make any effort to correct the issue (which would have been service going above and beyond). Do better for your “fans”, DQ.

New version still some work to be done. The new version (3.x) of the app has still a few issues that need ironing out. 1) when replacing a drink in a combo with a blizzard, not all blizzard options are shown (if you order a blizzard by itself you are given many more flavors to choose from). 2) paying through the app is coded as “internet purchase” instead of “restaurant” with the credit card, so your a losing out on any bonuses your card gives you (paying in person at the store codes correctly).

Glitchy and can’t log in. I’ve been using this app since it came out. When it works it deserves 3 stars at best. Right now I can’t even log in. It won’t log in using my account or my Apple account. This has been an ongoing issue for a couple of weeks. I have rewards points that expire at the end of the month that I probably won’t get to use. I may just delete this app as it’s not worth the frustration.

Thanks for charging my card and having no ice cream. The app is great. If you happen to get to the restaurant and the ice cream machine works. In my case, I was charged for something that I never received. I pulled up to pick up my order, and I was greeted with “I’m so sorry we have no ice cream. The machine doesn’t work.“ they said they could try to issue a refund, but it had not been successful so far. What are we to do when we have been charged for something that the restaurant cannot fulfill? I don’t fault the local store because it appears corporate has put no measure in place for them to issue refunds for unfulfilled mobile orders.

Can’t access account nor make new one. I made an account a few months ago and have used it once. I now cannot log in whatsoever (it keeps saying to try again, which I do to no avail) and because my phone number is on that account I can’t make a new one. I have also tried to change my password but I have not receive any emails to do so.

DQ not prepared for app orders. I just downloaded the DQ app today and placed an order on it. I arrived at the store right on time. There was a place designated for people picking up online orders. The store was so busy that no one asked to help me and I did not have the opportunity to get help. After about seven minutes, which is a long time for ice cream to not be frozen, I was able to get someone’s attention. They talked to one of the people making blizzards, and they pulled out my order from below the counter. I left with it, hoping it would not be melted. Our blizzards were more like milkshakes than blizzards. I will definitely not use the app again because there’s too much confusion with picking up an order. And you can’t leave ice cream out for very long.

Tricky Tricky DQ. You better have your app ready to scan before you order and you better not forget because after you pay it’s way to late. They will not ask you if you have the rewards app. That’s ok, but if you do forget, you can’t even call a number and give your receipt info to get your points. Most places have a way to get your points if you forget to scan your rewards app or if you just don’t have it with you. I rarely go to DQ because of this.

DO NOT USE THIS APP… IT IS A SCAM. Don’t use the Dairy Queen mobile app. I went about a month ago to their Prattville, AL location and they gave me an excuse why they couldn’t fulfill most of my order so I told them to just cancel my order and refund me my money and the store tells me that I have to go through the app for my refund, so I contact them through the app, who in return sends me back to the local Dairy Queen saying they can’t do anything about the app only the local store can issue a refund because the money goes to the local store that you order from. They just constantly send you in circles! I am out around $50 and no food to show for it! Trust me and DO NOT USE THEIR MOBILE APP! I placed my order on October 8 and it’s November 26 and they still won’t respond or refund me!

App Orders. Absolutely ridiculous not to allow mobile orders to be picked up through the drive through! That totally voids the convenience of mobile orders. If I have kids in car seats, it is not convenient for me to get them all out to go in and get my order. A lot of times I am ordering online because I simply don’t want to go inside an establishment. It should be my choice if I want to pick up in the store or drive through. I was told the reason you have that in place is because you don’t want ppl waiting in long lines in the drive through to pick up a mobile order. Once again, should be my choice. I am deleting the app. Not convenient at all!!!

Hey Dairy Queen. Lol let’s pick up the slack here , you made an app now let’s have this app work ! I mean if you got it to be upto date and. No bugs this could bring in a lot of revenue for you guys ! The lack of menu items needs to be addressed and the ability to add coupons and past rewards on previous receipts should be also fixed ! Like let’s keep up with the jones and get it right ! U don’t want sonic kicking u out of the competition now do u !??? Lol keep up the good work !

Incorrect order and nasty employee. Placed an online order for the new Oreo Hot Cocoa blizzard. After picking it up at the Medford, NY location, the blizzard was vanilla based. Upon speaking to the employee she said “we don’t have the cocoa fudge.” To which I asked “then why is it available on the ap?” and she replied “we don’t know when we will get it in.” I asked her to simply add regular chocolate and she got annoyed and said “it won’t do anything!” (Obviously adding chocolate will bring it closer to the chocolate base that the blizzard was supposed to have.). I can live with an incorrect order; but her nasty attitude was uncalled for an obnoxious! Order picked up 10/2 at 7:15 pm, petite (nasty) young lady!

So many issues. Ordered for the first time today. When I pressed Submit, it said something went wrong & the order didn’t go thru. Pressed Submit again and it said the ordered was already placed. Items were still in the cart and still on the Submit screen and each time it said that ordered was already submitted. Went to the recent orders section and no orders were listed. Went to my banking app & saw a pending charge. Had to go in the store to see if they had my order, which they didn’t. Then it came up all of a sudden to check in on the app and I did. Then it today me to go to a California store to pick up my order when I placed the order for a Virginia store. Will not use again.

Worst food app on my phone. Negative 5 stars is more accurate. I live right next to a dairy queen, so the convenience factor is huge! However, the app is continuously getting worse it’s like they don’t want customers to get what they want. Some very lazy, perhaps foreign software developer doesn’t even know what customers at the store eat or why they shop here. You should go re-search chipotles app, which is far superior to this piece of tech. If I didn’t live right next to a Dairy Queen, I would never use again. Can’t even get the sauce called queso when getting chicken fingers. The store has no problem with it. But the app…. Isn’t even an option.

Bugs that still haven’t been fixed. The app has a bug in it that will not allow you to select a Blizzard for your drink. It keeps giving your the error to “choose size” but never lets you select any options for your Blizzard, even after you select the bubble. It happens even on the $6 meal deal where upgrading your drink to a Blizzard is supposed to be an option. It even increases the meal to $7, but never lets you get past the selection screen so that you can place the order. It also won’t let you select no bun on burgers when you try to customize them.

update buggy. the app updated automatically. had to sign in, couldn’t remember pw so i re-set it, ok so far…. then when i try to update my location it freezes and i have to force close. multiple attempts, freezes every time. i even updated my fave location in my profile but the default location stays the same so i can’t place a mobile order. ugh! nevermind the fact that such a small percentage of DQ’s even accept the app (not just for placing orders but more importantly for coupons and rewards)…. i have to drive past 2 closer DQ stores that don’t participate to get to one that does :( that’s bad enough, but you guys need to fix all the bugs in your update, other reviewers can’t even log in, etc. for me it’s the app freezing up when i try to change the location. wish you would test properly before releasing updates, the app is less usable now than the previous version!!

Needs improvement. 2 issues. 1- no ability to cancel your order online or through the app if you order from the wrong location. I called the store I ordered from accidentally and they couldn’t not assist all I could tell them was to not make the order since I wasn’t nearby. 2- geofence needs to be enabled to help ensure you’re ordering from the correct location that you are nearest to or even have a option to edit the order to prevent ordering errors. Competitors apps put those safe guards in place that you have to “check in” to prevent errors.

Not a priority order. I used the app instead of waiting in the drive thru and was very disappointed. I ordered 15 minutes before arriving and expected that they would make my four items and somehow keep them cold in a freezer. They didn’t, instead I had to click a button to tell them I had arrived. Only then did they start making the 4 items. But the online orders were not at all a priority. They made the items between working the drive thru and it took 10 minutes from the first of the items to be made to the last item to be made. That doesn’t work well for ice cream orders. The drive thru was clearly a priority - don’t use the app to order ahead.

None of the locations offer curbside pick-up. Well I pulled into the Dairy Queen drivethru of my hometown and there were at least 14 cars ahead of me, so I downloaded the app thinking I can skip the line. Nope!! I love getting a late night blizzard and my son gets a large vanilla cone. This would be very convenient if they did “order ahead” curbside pick-up. Well, I guess I’m waiting in the line because I want a blizzard THAT BAD!! Haha but for real, the staff the food everything is absolutely great every time I come the orders always right they’re almost as good as Chick-fil-A but not quite. Nobody can top Chick-fil-A!!

Online order doesn’t have items in menu. Online order doesn’t have items that are on menu and this store never registers my points. I visited this DQ from out of town yesterday and she scanned my phone for pts but no pts were generated or added to my acct. I ordered at blizzard and lost out of 60 pts. The app says it can take 24 hrs to show up. The pts did not show up on my acct today so I took my receipt back In Today to get added but mgr said she can’t go back to yesterdays date 🤪😫🫣 So now I’m out for all my pts from yesterday and don’t know yet if got pts for today

Terrible app and deaf support. New user of app inherited phone from family member. Phone was wiped clean installed new app from Dairy Queen. No matter what I do the app says that it is already been installed on this phone and will not let me use a newly created account of my own. Will not let me login because it will not send the password or reset the password. So I’m totally blocked from using the app. Useless!!! Developer only suggestion is to install latest version that does nothing at all to resolve that you cant create a new account for yourself on a phone. And cant reset a forgotten password to try to use the old account. You would think this was a bank or financial company. Its ice milk and milkshakes people.

DO NOT UPDATE. Has the title says, if your DQ app is working do not update it. They tried to redo it for some reason and they broke it. This app used to work great, now I can’t get it to work at all. Of course with an iPhone I can’t go back. So I would also suggest don’t get an iPhone. As a general rule, if something isn’t broken it works great, never updated. All you can do is break something it’s never an improvement. These people just do this because they have to justify their job. Otherwise they be doing nothing. So they have to come up with some new something So they can show they did something, and then half the time they make sure that’s broken so they can fix it etc.

Terrible, flaky, horrible application.. If this app were an airlines, everyone would die who used it. Every time I go to use it at DQ, it’s a total failure. Developers, do yourselves a favor: Take a look at Burger King’s app, or McDonalds. They have it down. The DQ app is so dysfunctional that I have removed it from all my devices. I’ve had it for about 6 months now and have NEVER had it provide a discount on a promised item. App just doesn’t deliver. BK has the same 15min timer in place but it actually works. The app has actually kept me from visiting DQ because it’s just a huge disappointment. Oh, by the way, it’s nice that you respond to these complaints, but every response I’ve seen has amounted to either an excuse or simply “lip service”. That’s not going to go very far.

Can’t request to remove burger buns after new update. I am confused if it’s just me not knowing where to find it, but since the new update when I go to customize my ingredients, there is the option to remove pretty much everything EXCEPT the bun? We used to be able to request with no bun, and it doesn’t make any sense considering that that would be a pretty common customization. ——- I would also like to recommend the ability to either add money to app for future purchases or at the very least add gift cards- other places have that option, I don’t see why DQ can’t also :)

Wasted time.... There are some major glitches with this program. We thought to save some time by ordering online...and when we arrived it would not let us mark that we were there for curbside pick-up. It simply kept saying that we couldn’t change our order. So, we did exactly what we were trying to avoid and waited in the drive through line. The attendant apologized and said it was not related to the store. So, we had to hold up the line, place our order there. Go sit and wait for the order to be made, have it brought out wrong (not the apps fault) and then have both the store and apparently the app, charge us twice for our order. One was eventually reversed. Welcome to warm Frosties and cold fries.

Over 1400 rewards points and can’t unlock them to use. Ever since this, supposedly, new and improved Dairy Queen app came out I cannot use my rewards and there are no deals on the food. I have over 1400 rewards points and the app says I still need to collect more rewards to unlock the free food items. They need to fix the problems with this new app. Why did you update to a new app when the old app worked fine. I lost over 7000 points from the old app because it wouldn’t let me log in. I ended up using my son’s phone number so I could at least have the app on my phone. Didn’t really make much difference since I cannot use the the points I have currently collected.

Too bad 95% of the DQ stores don’t use the app. Out of at least dozen stores I’ve visited since installing this app more than 4-5 years ago, only 1 actually participated. I earned plenty of points there until COVID hit and when working from home made it prohibitive to drive 20 miles for ice cream when there was another store 5 minutes away. The best part: All the points I earned went away when I couldn’t use them anywhere. What a great program. DQ needs to require all of their stores to use the program or do away with it. Essentially it’s wasted memory on my phone. In the time I’ve had this installed nothing has changed.

Service. I went to go in and get my mobile order I ordered from Dairy Queen and even though it was just a ice cream cake, I was trying to get the girls attention, just so I don’t want them thinking I was stealing a cake, so finally, she starts talking to these boys behind the food counter, and I even motioned to those boys that I wanted her help and they just looked on, so that’s when I was getting irritated, so I said excuse me, excuse me, and I even had to use my key to make noise on the counter, she finally turned around and I said I have a mobile order and she just gave me such a sour look when she handed me the cake, like how dare you bother me, that is very poor service. Very very poor.

Always have to come back. Every time I order from here the chicken still cold on the inside, or they forget something. Well this time my blizzards were like slurpees and it makes me angry that she said bring them back and they can be replaced. I’m taking them back because they are gross but what do I get out of it besides the fact I get what I ordered and using my gas money to return to a store. Either get real full before I go return my ice cream or let my food get cold in order to go get what I should have got in the first place. This was a mobile order that said pick up at 5:35 I got there at 5:30 and the ice cream was just sitting there. Like who does this!! Tbh I don’t even want the blizzards anymore I just want my money back!
