Really interesting way to make simple animations. I just got a device with a TrueDepth camera (iPad Pro, running the app in iPhone mode), and am exploring what’s available to use that tech. This app is really cool, if limited. (Read the description clearly — this REQUIRES a device with a TrueDepth camera — that is iPhone X or later, and I can confirm it works with the new generation of iPad Pro with TrueDepth camera.) First off, the developer has obviously put a lot of work into this app, and it’s a really clever approach to using the TrueDepth camera for performance capture animation. You can try it out all you like by doodling characters with its in-app tools, and seeing how well they react to your facial movements. If you want to record a video, you need to buy a modest IAP to enable recording; that’s only reasonable given how much work has gone into the app. (I really appreciate that it’s a one-time IAP and not a subscription!) I’d love to see the ability to import drawings I do in other apps to use as the features of the characters; the tools for drawing in this app are decent, but dedicated drawing and painting apps give you a lot more power; the animation tools here are what steal the show! But for making simple, meme-like animations, this app has all the tools you need. It’s fun to play with and once you spring for the IAP, it produces fun video clips you can share.

Terrible. This is literally the worst game ever this should be supported on all devices not just iPhone 6 and up and of the preview of the game is the error screen if you let this on all devices it would be good

Ads make it impossible to use. You draw, the. Go to test, and an ad comes up. If you close it, then the live view of the drawing stops. Waste of time

Description doesn’t match. The description says that it works with iPhone 6 up until I phone X yet after downloading it said that the app is not supported by my device (I have iPhone 8 Plus) and that I should recommend the app to someone with iPhone X!!! Then why does it say in the description that’s it supports those iPhones! 🙄

Mediocre. Even the preview of this app is the error screen!

Good concept, poor execution. Would be fun to play with, but I’ll never know how it actually works. You can create and record a video, but you have to pay $2.99 to get the video. Can’t even see a preview of the recording without paying. Already deleted the app.

Does not work as advertised. Very little actual animation as compared to the demo video. Will be requesting a refund.

Really fun but.... ... I wish there was a way to save the doodles. Other than that, it’s a really cute and fun app!

Cool app, pls see below?. The app does what it says, got some ideas, are you able to import a photo from phone and doodle/animate and still work with TrueDepth camera :/ invisible ink so maybe photo moves along with a circled/shaded area? Idk just saying something random sorry about that. And maybe a option to view other people’s drawing and make them move

Great app but lacking features. The app is amazing! But i have a few suggestions 1.Add bodys (arms legs etc) 2.Add a zoom in feature The bodies would help in making animations and such And zoom in allows for smaller details to be added ty for reading

Pathetic!. Worst app of the decade! A complete lol app! I spent 2 mins of my very precious time to write this review for you to understand that you only launch something when you are ready not before that. Again, Pathetic app, not recommended!

Doesn’t Work. The title says it al. I even bought the three dollar recording thing and it still won’t work.

Don’t get!. Ok first I got this to have fun and when I tried to have two different eyes it would not let me and it would not let me have mouth and I’m sad now thanksssss!!!! So if you want to be sad get this app!😭

Doesn’t work. Spent some time making a character and you have to pay to try it out. Whoever thought of that idea needs to be fired.

Works perfectly. Works great and is a lot of fun to mess with, it’d be nice if there were more tools for drawing (eraser, colors, pen sizes, onion skin, layers). Overall fun!

OK start. This is an interesting start. I can animate a cute, hand-drawn (by me) cartoon just using my iPhone X camera. BUT, to make a new face, each feature (more than 10 in all) have to be deleted separately. Cumbersome. I haven’t PURCHASED video recording ($2.99), so I don’t know if that gives you the ability to have more than one cartoon face at a time, but right now: you can’t. I hope the ability to delete and entire face AND the ability to save and create new faces easily is an upcoming update, or I will just end up deleting without buying video recording. Response to developer: Thank you! I look forward to the update. I will review this app again afterwards :)

Disappointed in pay-to-play tactics. Thought it was cool until I went to play with my cartoon creation. As soon as you hit record you get hit with the “pay $2.99 for unlimited recordings” but you can’t record at all without that. Super whack. I was ready to recommend it to teacher friends, but you lost me with that mess.

Fun to mess around with. I’d really like some tools to better make the doodles for those of us that aren’t as gifted in drawing

Doesn’t work. The doodle doesn’t pick up facial expressions. 11 second video only showed the drawing of the face tilting. Also charges you 2.99 to try to make this video that doesn’t work. Lame.

Meh. Fun to tinker with, but no demo mode to record a message prior to paying. Couldn’t get excited to buy without sampling what a recorded message would be like. The styling and idea seems fun and pleasantly quirky, though, if you want to pay.

Unsupported. I can’t run the application since I don’t have iPhone X, it’s okay ‘til the moment, there is no problem about that, but why it does show in my application recommendations section while I have an iPhone SE? Shouldn’t it be hidden somewhere else until I search for it?
