Problem. I love this app but recently not working great what it’s doing now is it stops playing but it shows that it is still playing then I unlock my phone and a commercial pops up then I close the commercial and it still shows playing even though it’s not and I have to press stop and the n play again to get it to resume the stream. I think this gets triggered sometimes by my cell connection changing from 5G to lte because I use fit in the car mostly. iPhone 15 running 17.4

Wonderful cultural exploration. Pretty much I love this app. Decades ago, in the golden age of shortwave radio, I would listen for endless, endless hours to distant stations with a real, serious shortwave radio, mostly music, without regard to understanding a word. That world is gone now, but this is the modern, totally easy, way to hear other cultures. Truthfully I don’t care about the domestic coverage at all. I particularly love the global map and the listing of all stations in a city. I would love a way to avoid the audio advertising, it’s gross and offensive, I’d happily pay a subscription fee, but I understand that’s not the issue. All one can do is not patronize the advertisers. The app itself gets a full five stars for the interface and content.

Connect to the whole world. I love this app so much. Amazing way to feel a little more connected to the rest of the world. Love all the different public and community stations. Check out Chico CA and Kilkenny Ireland. Early 80s babies like me might like KBXR out of Missouri. I even listen to air traffic control sometimes. The other day I heard Monty Python bits on two different stations within an hour. A little faith in humanity restored. Great interface but would be nice to see town names, state and country borders, etc on the map. Love that I can save favorite stations but would like to be able to scan through them. Thanks for a cool app!

Fantastic app!. As the title says, this is an excellent app. It works perfectly and is seriously littered with radio stations from around the WHOLE world. If you're looking to really broaden your horizons, looking to get a little taste of home or even reminiscing on past trips and adventures in distant places, this app while suit your needs. I must also mention that I rarely, if ever, rate and review apps for the Apple Store- so this app really blew me away- not just now but also years ago. To the developers- you really put a lot of effort into this and it shows! Thank you!

Best App hands down!!!. Originally from Kenya and through this app i am able to keep in touch with my home country and other neighboring countries in East Africa. Technologically this is the best means of getting the latest and greatest news from the entire globe. Hands down to the developers. Without this app, i would not have maintained the much needed contact with my home country. Very impressed with this app, i listen to my stations every freaking day. Night or day am always here streaming my favorite radio stations. As a dj also, it helps me learn what other people from different cultures listen to. Browsing through various cities, countries and radio stations. It gives me an immense sense of pride that i can learn more from others. Hence expanding my knowledge in Music. Big up Radio Garden. Love it!. I use this app every day. Great if you’ve lived a lot of places and want to drop in to an old locale. Great if you’re traveling and want to stay in touch with whats going on at home. Great if you listen to specific genres (classical, jazz- some great jazz around the world). Great if you want to listen to other languages. The favorites feature is so useful. I like this app so much I paid to get rid of the ads just to support this company - the ads are some of the least intrusive I’ve seen on an app. Thanks Radio Garden.

One of my favorite apps. The only app I’ve written a review for. I love this app on the desktop or on my phone. Pretty foolproof layout and great reception wherever I’m at. Few stations are inconsistent in playback but I find it depends on the time of day. I recommend this app to all my friends who are stuck in a rut with music discovery. A great way to reach out and feel like you’re somewhere else when you’re at home or at work!

100% legit. It’s work on my service plan and I can listen to any country. it’s just as good as apple radio but this time you Liston to country. But I wish they keep it free forever. Because I think it is good as it is. Please don’t charge money. These people just want you to please don’t do it! 😣 and don’t hate on this app But do agree on were there are to many ads pop up I just close them. 😡 I wish they would remove them. But keep it up radio garden 😁 I really enjoying your app.

Needs some improvement 📈. First problem is the newer iPads and iPhones don’t have buttons so when they get out of the app while listening to the radio it changes station because it moves. Second problem I wish I could move around while still hear the same radio station. For example when I'm listening to KDWB I want to look at others, but not actually listen to it.

My favorite way to discover music. The best way to listen to music. I would pay for premium but it glitches out and makes me restart the app so much, that what is the point of paying for it? I have to babysit it anyways, and bluetooth wont let me skip stations—which is hard to use while driving. Other than that i like the format. No one else uses a globe. It is perfect for discovery.

Must-have for World Music lovers. I enjoy a large variety of music from all over the world. I usually have to do a lot of work to find different world genres, search the internet until I’ve found a few examples of what I want. But with this app, all the music I like is in one place, easily found, and the favorites menu allow me to save those radio stations that hit just right. So far I’ve collected stations from the UK, India, Japan, South America, Eastern Europe … and I’ve just scratched the surface! This app is a must-have for travelers, students, music lovers, and anyone who is looking for a connection to the rest of the world. Five stars!

Awesome. I love this app! Hands down one of the coolest apps I’d say I’ve ever downloaded! You can listen to almost any station anywhere! You can also submit stations and get them on here and the process is pretty easy. Also mentions pop up ads but I haven’t seen any and I’ve had this app for about a year now if I start seeing a lot for some reason it’s $3-4 to remove them which I am certainly happy to get to help out radio garden definitely worth it! Thank you radio garden!

punitive advertising equals poor app. want to hear what’s on a station? Sit through a commercial. Oh...that station is awful. Let’s check another. Time to sit through another commercial! That station is offline, let’s check another! Time for a new commercial! Needless to say you will have listened to thirty minutes of awful commercials before finding a station you like. Once you do find a station you like, the commercials are at a vastly different volume level than the radio stations due to poor loudness normalization quality control. A good idea very very poorly executed. Another app designed to shove as many ads down people’s throats as possible.

Hard to function.. Unexplainably, whenever I load into the app, all I see is the privacy policy and the cookies paragraphs at the bottom of the blue screen. All I want to do is to start listening and explore, but I can’t because whenever I try pressing the “play button” in the middle of the screen, literally nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times, and ex’d out of the app and gone back in numerous times, as-well as power off and on my phone, still, nothing. Please explain how I would be able to fix this issue.

Bad malware popups recently deleted app. I’ve had this app for about 2 years and amazed at the number of stations and locations it offers. Also cool is the ability to click through to the station web site. Unfortunately for the past month when using radio garden and sometimes click through to station web site a variety of different warnings or advisories appear about malware or other garbage click here to fix. This is the only app that does this as I don’t have but a few other non Apple apps which don’t exhibit this. Deleted Radio Garden for this reason.

So much fun and discovery...but advertising intrudes. I was like a kid with a new shortwave radio, exploring for hours. The interface is so cool, and although many stations the world over play the same old boring music, there are real gems. Absolutely one on my favorite apps. But the advertising really gets in the way. The ad screens are very difficult to close. It’s hard to be transported by music when you’re jabbing at an “X” trying to close the ad and explore further. I’d pay something fir an ad-free version, or at least make it easier to close the ad windows.

Great app! Could use some more features. I love this app, it’s probably my favorite app on my phone. A great feature would be to see your recent stations! Sometimes I’ll leave a station and won’t save it or I’ll jump away to quick just when it gets good and I won’t be able to find it again. One other great feature would be to add some sort of way to add custom names to stations. Ex. In the favorites tab be able to add custom tags or text, this would make it easier to identify what that station most often plays! Would really appreciate this feature! Dear developers, great job! pls make it new updated version radio garden.. I really like the "Radio Garden" application because it gives a lot of radio stations that I like, but this is only a lot of around 25,000 stations, not yet, but the real total is still there are more radio stations that are not present, if you can fulfill it, please find more radio stations in each country, you can add more radio stations in 4-10 Asian radio stations that still have empty spaces in their regions, please add more sound vibration waves with music in dynamic space waves like digital sound background which is very unique. I give full stars for this application. make and add new changes to the surface of this radio garden application. thank you so much.

BEWARE!. I highly recommend that you avoid this app. Either it is malicious or it has been compromised by nefarious parties. The app stopped playing and I got what looked like a legit pop-up warning saying the app had stopped because the phone memory was near capacity. It was not the usual bogus iPhone "memory storage full" pop-up that is common. It had a button to click to fix the "problem" or another to "dismiss" if I remember right. I didn't have the presence of mind to screen shot and simply closed out of the app. I'll be deleting it immediately. Too bad, because I really looked forward to using it as I travel daily.

The Most Important App in Human History. In an ever-growing online world where communities splinter in favor of personalized bubbles I now have an opportunity to look at a map of the earth and pick out radio stations to discover at random. I can look at all of us on this earth beaming out sounds into the air and tune and see what they are saying. Thank you creators of Radio Garden. This is probably the best app I have ever used.

Travel the world!. Don’t tell them (shhhh!), but they should be *charging* for this amazing *free* app...I just spent a half hour (ok, an hour!) traveling around Europe’s radio stations (lots of American music out there!), and coincidentally learning which countries are where, which are next to/above/below each other, and so this app is not only loads of fun - it’s also *educational*! And whatever map service they’re using let’s you zoom in really closely, so my trip this evening ending we me exploring the Oxford area of England, with amazing overhead views of the various colleges...wish I’d gone there! Think I’ll visit Norway next...

This is such a cool app. I’ve only heard the radio in taxis, buses and at my relatives homes but those all don’t count as I don’t understand the languages being spoken so this is a cool app to find stations around the world broadcasting in a language you understand. This also is cool because it kind of helps me see(or hear) the differences between a radio and watching the news on my phone as I am not old enough to remember the radio being used. 2 ideas which I have seen and want to share are •Random station button •Country/Language guesser(like geo guesser) with other people

I Really like this. Radio Garden is my most favorite app to use for listening to radio stations. So far everything has been great except one thing, the song that is displayed as whats being played isn’t actually whats playing. It hasn't changed for at least a week or so now. Its just pretty annoying because id have to go to the station’s website to know what’s on but otherwise its great. Please fix this

Love the App, AirPlay Still Flaky. Brilliant idea, offering a window onto the world. And it generally works well — unless you want to stream to an AirPlay device. First, I’ve not found an obvious UI feature to send to AirPlay when you select a station — you either select AirPlay in a different audio app first, or you have to click the screen off and then off again, because the interface on the Lock Screen offers a way to select it. Second, once you do that, it still drops out frequently; and if you try streaming to two speakers at once, the sound stops entirely, though the app tells you it’s playing. Very, very frustrating. But if you don’t need AirPlay, this is a no-brainer.

Almost Awesome!. I downloaded this app yesterday and loved it, it was so cool to skip around the world listening to local stations, but I put it on again today, and every time an ad pops up, the music stops and I have to physically close the ad and restart the radio, which is difficult while I am at work, so I just shut it off altogether and put on a different music app. That is the only issue I have with this app.

Amazing!. Radio Garden live is an amazing application. Apart from being able to access every streaming radio station in the world, the ability to visualize it by seeing a map of the entire earth and then zooming into a particular station or region is both fun and gives a sense of wonder. There are two stations on the Faroe Islands north of Scotland, and I find it hilarious that one of them plays music and talk in Icelandic while the other station plays hard-core American outlaw western music from the 70s. For someone like me who travels often this is a great app for staying connected to home as well as some of the places that I visit frequently.

This app is a wonderland!. For radio enthusiasts, for music lovers, for world explorers, for curious people and just for the enjoyment of the soul, this app is a must! A world class gem. You can travel the entire planet through music and discover something new every day by tuning into different radio stations. Everything is available for free, but the premium is definitely worth it: no ads, family sharing and your support to such an amazing project. Thank you guys, for this gift to humanity.

Nostalgic and heart-warming. My parents are from Michoacán, Mexico and constantly long for the same music and memories from their home. Introducing this app to them made them incredibly happy and it even warmed my heart knowing that we can listen to music from where my family resided. It feels very sweet, I feel closer to my mother especially as she and I would just relax and listen to the radio. 🩷

And now I cannot live without it!. What a fantastic job you have done. I am looking forward to more curated content. One thing I would love to see tho is the ability to share my favorite stations – I have you on my phone and on my laptop and I haven't found a way to create an account that would share those across my devices. Wonderful! Would like to see.... This app is truly wonderful for when you have nothing else to do and just want to take a music vacation from your local stations, or even hear radio stations from your home town or country when on a vacation! Some things that I would had to the experience that is arguably a lot of work would be like a clock for each station so we can see what time it is where the station is located, that way we can tell when type of music is being played (late night as opposed to morning tunes).

Simply Put - The Best. Simply put, this is the finest international radio app I have used. One moment, you are in India, the next moment you are in Iceland. It is an ethnomusicologist’s treasure trove (present day)! I cannot thank you enough for your hard work on this wonderful app! I discover the world with this app. I hope you will develop a separate app exactly the same but for shortwave frequencies, if that is possible. Strange but amazing.. So when I first heard of this app I was looking at google for fun websites. I came upon 8 fun websites and radio garden was first. Out of curiosity I decided to read the intro to what it was and why it was fun. Google said a fun website to see what people all over the globe listen to such as radio talks, music, sermons, Etc Etc.. so the first one that was on the website was in Mongolia tx with preaching. On the side it said experience the app on App Store so I decided to get it. After a while of playing it it seemed creepy, but overall I love this app. No difficulties other than some not responding but that’s fine for a free app. Thank you :)

Accounts would really be useful. Pros: Having now been through a few competing programs (looking for an alternative), I can say that RG unquestionably accesses the most stations, in a way that makes a lot of sense. Cons: Not so good if you don’t relate well to maps in the first place. If you’re the classic, “They couldn’t point to {x} on a map!”, welllllll…. that’s the user interface RG uses. Another problem I’ve run across: Because there are no accounts, every now and then my Favorites will disappear. I assume this is because they’re held in some local file. So not only do I have to recreate my Favorites on each device I use ( because, without accounts, they don’t propagate), not only are my lists different on each device ( see earlier point), sometimes I have to recreate my lists from scratch. This is not good. I think this must be a cost-saving method. No accounts means local storage, so no leases. But, really, guys…. Shell out the money for the 1 or 2U of rackspace it would take. At least from me, it would eliminate a lot of hassle, and it would earn that 5th star. ETA: Having switched from an iPad/7 to an iPad Air/5, the lack of a physical home button really makes a difference with this UI. I keep not flicking from the bottom fast enough, so the map interprets that as a change of town. I keep having to go back to Favorites, pick my station, then repeat. Stage Manager fixes this by having the selection windows to the side, but that seems a very brute force approach.

Haitian but born in the USA. Growing up my parents did an amazing job tell us and showing us Haiti history. We would send cassette tapes back and fourth in the 90s but I always wanted to know what is my People listening to on the radio. This is a big help. Especially when you want to connect to the Afro Latin Diaspora! You want to grow your playlist✅want to listen to what people are Jamming to in anywhere in the world ✅✅✅

Great app, but limited. Very clean UI and easy to use. Overall great design and implementation. My only issue with the app is how radio station submission is handled. Submissions get rejected if the radio station is not globally listenable, which is unfortunately fairly common due to copyright restrictions that geolock streamed content. While I can appreciate why this is a rule, it really does limit RadioGarden from being my main radio app and I am hesitant to invest in the premium version for this reason. These are not small or obscure stations either. This rule is also not enforced universally either - attempting to stream several stations in Japan (very very strict on copyright) will fail with a geolock message. Even if there would be the option for a user to upload their own radio streaming files to access and store locally that would be great. No hate to the devs. As I said this is a great implementation, but is being held back from being my primary radio source by a couple things. Carplay would also be cool if there is bandwidth for it, but understand if there isn’t.

to date the best app ive ever downloaded. What a wonderful contribution to the world. Truly a one in a million kind of platform, I cannot recommend it enough. Excellent radio app, with key improvements needed. Radio Garden is fantastic, a wonderful way to explore world radio. One thing it taught me right away is how profound the hold American pop has on the entire world—as another reviewer said, it’s almost unbelievable the number of stations everywhere playing ‘today’s’ crappy, throwaway English-language dance-ish pop, and then you have nearly as many doing “Hits from the 80s” etc. Depressing. But if you’re diligent you can find all kinds of ear-opening stuff. Radio Garden needs: 1. Manual URL entry of new stations. It’s nice they have a ‘submit station’ form, but why not let me test the URL first—within the app—and why not give me immediate access to the feeds i want to listen to? The app could list manually-entered stations in the Favorites area. When you play a manually-entered station the app could display the station name in a special color and rotate the globe to some place out in the ocean—or just leave the globe as it is 2. Support for iPad screen sizes. Currently on iPad it runs as if it were on a phone, with that wide black border around the app. 3. Chinese and northern and central African stations. Where are they? 4. Tags/categories so stations can be grouped and selected for play by genre, language or whatever. We should likewise be able to order the station list in whatever order makes sense to the user.

Very Good - and a real pleasure to have. I really like this app. I would give it 5 stars, and probably pay for the ad-free version, but for one flaw. When switching between apps: when you return to Radio Garden Live, the geographic interface shifts. So, you lose the station you were listening to (does not happen every time?). Your ability to recover that station now depends on your memory. You can sort of deal with this by marking a favorite, but this limits exploration. I am currently really enjoying a jazz station from Romania, here in the USA. I love the random element of exploration, which seems to have been the goal of the author.

This. App. Is. Incredible.. I found this app after I realized getting an actual shortwave radio was a losing proposition. Wow, I realized that using this app is a way better experience than anything I could do with a shortwave radio. The visual “spinning globe” interface is incredibly engaging. It’s surreal to just spin the globe, zoom in on an area, and start browsing local stations. I feel like all the world’s radio stations are at my fingertips. This is unreal. Thank you! Will upgrade to ad-free version right now.

So cool to hear new music from around the world!. Totally in love with this app and the ability to connect to stations all around the world! I particularly love the explore section with the curated pics and popular lists. One feature that would be nice is shuffle switching on the favorites list. That way I could scan my favorites in random ways, when looking for a channel to listen to.

Five stars, but I’d pay for CarPlay. One of the best ways to experience a culture is through its music. Radio garden makes it possible to tap in to the zeitgeist of the moment, anywhere in the world. It’s fascinating. I currently use the free version. For me, the one killer feature that would put it over the top is CarPlay support. If the author made that a premium feature (at a fair cost), count me in.

Audible ads. When looking at the purchase to remove ads it states that only visual ads are removed due to having no control over audible ads. While this statement makes since, I find it very hard to believe when the audible ads that I do hear are directed towards my country, state, and even county. And whenever I resume a station I was listening to earlier, there always happens to be one of those directed ads playing. I love this app and what if brings, but please expand on how you have no control over audible ads.

Most Beyond-Expectation App so far. First of all, the music audio quality is excellent! For language and music lovers, this is a great place to practice listening and discover amazing music. You can even search by genre to find very specific styles. Besides, the “balloon ride” mode is so much fun to use, and it even helps you test your geography knowledge. I have to say this app truly exceeded my expectations, and I’d love to recommend it to all my friends.

Unreal app. This app is fantastic. It’s extremely user friendly and has very little ads. I hardly even listen to my own music now because I’ve found stations that are awesome. Only thing I could think of recommending is a feature where I could see what song is playing on the station but other than that this app is a must download.

Takes me to Italy!. I love Radio Garden because it gives me the opportunity to practice listening in Italian. It is simply a great app. My only complaint is that from time to time it freezes and I have to delete then reinstall the app. And lately an ad for the Discover app pops up and I have not been able to get rid of it by touching the x, forcing me to delete and reinstall. Still a great app!

Completely free. I admit, I have not tried many other radio apps, but this one has worked for me for several years and it is completely free. The search function allows you to look for genres radio from a certain country or even from a certain city. There is also a globe showing all of the stations currently available And just by passing over a station you can hear the broadcast . I’m satisfied.

Fascinating, informative, unbelievable. This is the best app I use. Explore local music, rekindle memories of past visits, learn new cultures. All form the comfort of an easy chair. What kind of jazz is played in Kyoto? What is popular music in Zanzibar? (spoiler alert: Abba is everywhere!). Did you know the only 24 hour a day Muslim radio station is based in the Fiji’s? Bottom line: this is best reason why the internet exists: a tool with global reach that can provide exposure and understanding.

Fantastic app with a fatal flaw. This app is stunning - it’s really fast and responsive, has a clean and simple interface, and is insanely fun to explore. It creates a powerful sense of connection to the entire world. However, the green radio-station dots are incredibly difficult to see when you start zooming in, which essentially renders the entire point of the app as useless. I fumbled around different stations for about a minute before I gave up in frustration. Had there been an option to enlarge these dots or replace them with consistently sized icons, I could easily see myself subscribing to this and keeping it open all day at work.

Best app ever. What a thrill to tune into stations around the globe! I appreciate the hand picked, quirky ones they select for you. I would encourage DJs out there to be as interesting & eclectic as possible as there are too many American sounding stations: being an American, what I seek is something completely different. However, check out Africa, South America, the Soviet Union or Papua New Guinea & you’ll realize what a humbling & beautiful Earth we all share. Also visually, this is a stunning app.

Ads, again.. Fantastic app, marvelous idea, but please figure out a way to remove the audio ads before the station starts. I don’t mean ads from the station, I understand those are out of your hands, and they make the station even more interesting. Charge me for it, put a price on your effort. There is a lot of potential growth for the app. Try crowdfunding, raise money, ditch the ads!

Loving this app. This app is amazing. Hundreds of radio stations available to listen. But some radio station are not accurate. It sound like its not live. Normally someone is talking in the radio but in the app no one just endlessly music

Great app with one recommendation. Can listen to radio stations from all around the world! Very cool and I love using Radio Garden. All around great free app without frequent annoying ads which interrupt audio playback. One recommendation/ improvement that would be great to see- when scrolling around the map it would be be ideal to have to select a radio station or city before the radio source switches instead of automatically switching to the nearest radio station as soon as I scroll around the map. Can be annoying to loose a radio station’s connection and have to find it again if I want to just have a look around the map or I accidentally move the map.

broken. It's extremely laggy and keeps showing 'Planting Seeds' every time I move or what. Like it just constantly resets the screen for whatever dumb reason and I can't do anything. Same for the website version.

Mr Wildan Sungkar. I just want to let you know what s wrong with my apps radio ? Everytime l just want to listen and turn the globe doesn’t let me anymore? Only stay for 20 seconds only which never happened before?

switching from wifi oddity. Radio Garden has become part of my daily walking exercise routine. Some ace Brussels stations. An oddity, though: when leaving the house and its wifi bubble there's an outage of around ten seconds before the streaming audio resumes on my phone. On returning to the house and wifi bubble, the transition is seamless. Why is this? What makes switching to 4G so difficult?

Just something u could add. Good stuff just needs a sleep timer kinda thing to turn it off after half hour or something

Stop button. Brilliant app & enjoyed the ease of using it. Although not all the radios channels are available, but it still good enough to pick what to listen. My only request is, there should be both play & stop button to listen & stop listening. Currently, when I phone is on sleep, the radio is still on with music on

Insane ads. The ads get stuck in the middle of screen. Very annoying, as everything works great. Better just to go on web page and play there, no annoying ads

Great app and interface, could be amazing!. Love the app, great idea and execution! Would be good to see three features: song detection, cast to tv and closed caption subtitles for language learning on talkback.

Loses a star for inability to close the ad. Love having access to radio stations around the world. HATE that the X to remove ads doesn’t work even after several minutes, and the only way to get back to the main screen is to exit the app and restart it.

HOWEVER, I find if you have been using app for free, it finds the station not available after 20 days or so. I messaged to understand if the payment was one time or monthly and did not get a response. With no response, I don’t feel secure paying via CC . Do won’t be paying for it

Ads are locking screen. The ads don’t have a cancel or X to close them, restarting does not help as the next ad does the same. I am glad upgrade to non ad version if it’s possible. The app is fantastic.

Was good but they added really aggressive advertising. Was my favourite radio app but not any more. Really aggravating adverts, all the time. Just had one that said I had to download a new browser otherwise the phone will crash, really! Scary tactics. Not recommended in any fashion, stay away from this app. ZERO STARS!!!

Ads!. So many ads. Every time I change stations another ad, and the paid version promises to remove only “visible” ads. Not spending the money to find out these audio ads from RG don’t disappear. Uninstalled.

Fantastic app. This is by far my favourite app on my phone. Instead of scouring over mindless social media pages and profiles, I try and find new radio stations to listen to using this app. Radio Garden is on all day in our house.

Used to be great, ad placement sucks. Love this app, but some of the ads that pop up, the close (x) button is in a corner of the phone that can’t be tapped. So I constantly have to close the app if an ad comes up and I want to change the station.

Wonderful. Because we can’t really travel, I came across this absolute gem of an App that gave me insight into what the world listens to. The interface is intuitive and I found myself traveling the globe listening to local stations across the planet. Surprisingly radio around the world plays a lot of North American music but there are still local artists singing in the local tongue. Give it a try, I was impressed, and the chance to travel again (even virtually) was fun.

Unable to Load. The app gets stuck in an infinite loop in which it attempts to load (“planting seeds”) and as it starts to zoom in to your location, it slows down and fails loading, bringing up the same “planting seeds” screen. Very disappointing

Best Radio App There Is. I was a bit skeptical but I was pleasantly surprised! This app is amazing, the interface is simple yet modern and I appreciate the curated radio selections according to your taste. I love it!

What a waste of time. Loaded the app, followed the instructions and didn’t get a single radio station to work. Kept getting a dashed green circle around a white square with NO audio at all. Had really high hopes but they failed to deliver the goods.

Great app but. When I got it the first time it was fine but now it keeps boot looping and I can’t listen without it restarting.

Stuck in endless loop. This app used to work fine but lately when i open the app it loads like normal then before a radio station plays the screen goes purple and says planting seeds every 3 seconds and reloads and I can’t do anything about it deleted it and refreshed multiple times but does not work Other than that really good app/website

Tired of waiting Apple CarPlay support. UPDATE: I have given up waiting for Apple CarPlay support. And since nearly every other radio streaming app has CarPlay support, I’m moving on. Tired of having to pick up my phone to change the station while driving, not worth the safety risk. Peace out hombres. [I paid for this app.] There is still no Apple CarPlay support. Honestly, how hard can it be to add that? It’s probably a widget supplied by Apple. I’m guessing most people listen to the radio while driving. Not safe to have to handle the phone while driving. It’s a no brainer!

Absolutely love, but cannot close Discover Ad. This app is an amazing tool that I would like to promote to others, but first they need to fix the Discover card pop-up ad that absolutely will not close. It makes it impossible to use the app without first crashing it each time. Please fix this bug, devs! People love this app!

How to turn off ads?. This app is my favorite radio app. But how do I pay to make the ads go away?! It would be fine if they were local station ads, but when you’re listening to radio stations in Spain or Russia, it is truly annoying to hear the same app-based ads for Lowes or Geico that must be tied to the app?

Jan 11, 2021. Wow. I just listened to live radio from Australia, Tarawa, Mail, Oman, Scotland, Norway, Ukraine, +25 others. I’m sure you could sit at a computer look up a city and find any on-line radio stations, sure. But combining a zoomable Earth with the radio inside a reticle is genius. And this is free. Again, wow.

Criminally Underrated. I’ve been using this app for about a year now ! And let me tell you there is no better radio app than this in whole Appstore ! Good idea and concept, but has issues. Great idea and very useful... but as soon as I tune a Radio Station and stay there for a few minutes, my iPhone-12 screen freezes as soon as an ad is shown, and the only possible option is to kill the app.

Fantastic App. This is probably my favorite app of all time. I’m 61 years old and have enjoyed radio all my life. What a fabulous way to listen to the whole world! I use this daily and I am building a list of favorites from all over the globe!

What a great tool!. Besides sharing cultures, keeping up with the news back home, etc., this is a wonderful way to improve one’s audio comprehension of a foreign language. I wish I had found this years ago! As far as the app goes, it’s simple but flexible and intuitive. Great design, and so far has worked without a hitch. 10/10.

I’ve discovered so much incredible music with this app. The design and interface are really intuitive and sleek. “Radio Is A Foreign Country” out of New Orleans is my favorite channel, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg that awaits you with Radio Garden. It’s really like traveling around the globe.

Was great, now broken.. I evangelized heavily for this app when I first got it, but in the last few months I’ve gotten an error message saying “Our servers are no longer responding “ every time I change the channel. Ithought updating would help but no dice. I deleted and downloaded again to see if that would help but now all o get is the same error message and I’ve lost all my favorites. It works fine on my iPad, but not my iPhone. Since my phone was the device I used it on the most this has soured me on the app altogether. Just writing this review on the hope it will get fixed.

Excellent App. I have been a radio geek for over 62 years, from my dad’s big Grundig living room radio, to my little Sony transistor radio, to FM stereo radio and years as a licensed Amateur Radio Operator I have loved them all. This app is nirvana. You explore the world’s commercial and some national radio stations as you search the globe. An easy and fun to use app. If you enjoy radio, please support the app and developers.

Good but never remove the advertising. Despite paying to have the advertising removed, they continue with audio advertising. I am listening to a station in Colombia and I have advertising from united states and interrupts the station in Spanish. do not pay because they never remove the advertising, they only change it from images to audio.

Fun to explore via radio!. Did a search for "metal" and found a bunch of stations from Germany (naturally) and even ones from Spain, Brazil, India, Eastern Europe and more... Ads are not too obnoxious, close quickly and don't interrupt your listening... So far, so good!

Emailed a concern and got a quick response!. Love this app. It did stop working at one point, but after emailing Radio Garden team, they reminded me to restart phone and I can once again access the music. Appreciate the quick response!

Excellent app for listening to radio stations. My co-worker told me about this app. It’s easy to use like google earth! Things that would make the app more excellent is to bring more stations from West Virginia Radio Corporation, Cumulus Media, Townsquare Media, 7 Mountains Media, COX Radio etc. to the app and it would be more easier if the states were outlined

Great app. Overall, I love radio garden. The interface is fun and the number of stations is great. My only complaint would be the lack of CarPlay support. I would love to use radio garden when I’m on road trips, so if that is added it would be the perfect app.

This is my go-to. I love this app and how it works. I love that I can just spin the globe and pick a station from wherever I land. Music and culture discovery on a whole other level. I only wish it worked with CarPlay. That would make it absolute perfect.

Great app. I love exploring pop music from around the world, and rediscovering stations from places I’ve lived in the past. One nice improvement would be a native CarPlay interface for swapping between favorites and such. It’s fun driving through town with Tajikistani pop music on the radio. An AppleTV interface would also be welcome.

Good app but…. The app is great, it lets allows me to listen to radio stations from my country Nicaragua, but the ads get repetitive and annoying. I understand this is how most apps work with advertising but it’s ridiculous when the same ad keeps playing over and over for like 7 minutes straight.

I love the apps!!!. I really love this app! Especially jumping seamlessly from station to station across the globe. One thing: I can only get the station “ON House” in Hof, Germany when I’m on wifi. So, I can’t listen to it in my car, which is a real bummer. Hopefully, this can be fixed in the next upgrade. Still love the app though!

Unbelievable, I love it!!. I am very surprised how powerful this app is. Living in the USA 🇺🇸 and able to listen to my childhood radio located in a small town in west africa is really been giving me joy and memories !!! And my wife is able to listen to her childhood village radio that is in Greenland 🇬🇱

good idea, lacks stations. There are tons of radio stations on this app, but i've tried to find three specific radio stations and none of the three i have been able to find. they aren't particularly small stations, though maybe not the biggest. anyway idea seems good just doesn't have what i came for

Awesome!. This app is awesome! It really connects us to the rest of the world, and I’m surprised to see how many radio stations are on here from remote parts. I never thought I’d be so excited to listen to the radio! I recommend it wholeheartedly and suggest to pay to remove adds, although they’ve never been intrusive, but just to support this app!

Greatest App I’ve Downloaded In Years!. Music from anywhere anytime. App has no ads, has every station you could possibly think of, a search function, and best of all works when you turn your phone off or enter another app. 10/10

Ads. Great app but I wish when you pay for ad removal it would actually remove the ads. (I’m not talking about the ads that play on the actual stations/the local ads I’m talking ads that play before you get access to a station)

Great…but…. I can’t seem to turn it off. I hit the stop button but as soon as I exit the app, the radio comes blaring through whatever other app I have open. It stops for a second, I exit, open another app & it turns back on. I might have to wait for an update…bummer, because the app is incredible!!!

One issue, that's it. I love the concept and I've spent hours exploring different stations, especially those that will help me with language learning. Simple interface, sleek, well put together. My only qualm is that I wish there was a volume control. Even on the lowest volume setting some stations are still just too loud (this isn't a problem with my audio settings).

Exactly what I wanted!. My local public radio station (KOPB) does loooong and tiresome pledge drives every few weeks. I’m happy to pitch in & help support them, but 11 days of “gives us money, give us money” is too much. With this app, I can listen to any NPR station - Seattle, LA, Colorado, NY. I’ve even come across some new & interesting shows to check out. Love this app!

Forget it!! Crash and burn!!. I ran across the web based version of Radio Garden and subsequently the app from a Quora link. “Very cool,” I thought while listening on my browser, “I’ll download the app.” Big mistake! It works great until the ad pops up. That is when it freezes. Shut down, re-open, same thing in an endless cycle. Great concept that I would gladly use if it worked; but sadly I have better ways to spend my time. I’m going to find a different radio app that actually works.

Dev sneaks in subscription model without warning. Once again a developer sneaks in a subscription model without warning in the change notes. Simply saying ”new tier” is too vague. Only AFTER I updated did I see the subscription details. Apple should ban this practice because too many developers rely on users not reading change notes before updating. If a subscription is now required just to remove ads I will have to abandon this app to the pile of other subscription based apps I’ve had to stop using.

Outstanding App For the Radio Listener!. Radio Garden offers a uniquely functional interface, which is combined with superb audio quality and an very wide selection of both AM and FM stations. The only suggestion for improvement would be the inclusion of stations from China. Highly recommended.

What a breath of fresh air. In the cesspool that is most of the internet, this app is a huge breath of fresh air. It enables you to scan the whole world and try different radio stations. It’s an incredible smorgasbord. Select your favorites but don’t get stuck there. Keep exploring, that’s the fun part!

Great radio app. Definitely the most unique radio apps I have used, as it’s so easy to scan the globe. Randomly found a radio station in Mail and been listening for hours! I’d pay for an app like this, but the ads are not annoying and easy to close.

Background play. Was in love with this app until recently with an update, background play is not longer possible. Edit: Fixed Don’t mess it up again!

Perfect AP for 2022!. I just found this ap and am thrilled! After 2 grueling years of a global pandemic, I’ve basically traveled no where, and it’s been awful. But with this I can travel in sound all over the world, it’s fantastic.

Ads won’t close, but I love the app itself. I love being able to listen to so many radio stations in the world in so many languages with such clear quality. The only thing that bothers me is that I am not able to hit the x button on visual ads, looks like it’s because it’s too far in the corner. I would like this problem to be fixed. Every time there is an ad, if I want to get back to the radio garden earth screen, I need to quit the app. Thank you.

Incredible app!!!!!. I don’t know why an app like this wasn’t made sooner! I’ve always wanted an app that could tap into any radio station, and I think this is perfect! The ads are skippable after 5 seconds and never interrupt the music playing and they’re not that frequent! Really really great app for radio listeners!

Fantastic!. I would 100% give this app 5 stars if it weren’t for one ad. It’s a Discover ad that will not allow me to exit, meaning I have to restart the app anytime I want to use the screen. It’s frustrating and the only downfall to an otherwise incredible experience.

Can’t close ads. Love the app, but an ad covered the entire screen and no matter how many times I tapped on the little X in the top right corner, the ad would not go away. This might have something to do with the ads not being optimize for an iPhone 11. Eventually, I got the ad to close. I’m not sure how, but I really wanted to find a different station!

Clean ??. I installed the Radio Garden app today. Scrolled around the globe to hear what’s playing out there. Then I left the app. When I returned the screen told me that the app found stuff to clean from my phone. Amongst the suggestions were contacts. My contacts need to be removed???? What’s up with that?

Hawaii. The local stations available to listeners in Hawaii are very, very limited. Radio Garden is truly a miracle in this remote archipelago. As a handyman, I interact with an older generation who grew up with radio. When I show them Radio Garden, it’s like a religious experience for them. Thank you so much for opening the world of radio to the world!

Such a Great Idea and Works Extremely Well. I would without a doubt give this app a five out of five. Not only doesn’t function super well, but being a lover of music, it allows me to connect with places that I normally would not hear radio stations from. Such a great idea for an app.
