Worked great for me. I am not sure why so many people had such a difficult time using the app. It worked great for me. It took me a minute to figure out how to make an account but once I figured it out this app made ordering meals a breeze for the whole 2 days I was in the hospital (for anyone struggling trying to make an account follow the instructions on the back of the hard copy of the hospital cafe menu the hospital gives you. I somehow managed to over look those institutions my first few attempts trying to make an account). I really loved that the app had a picture for each of the food menu items, and that it could let you physically see your order before sending it in. It really helped me be more decisive and ensure I didn’t forget anything I wanted 😊

Day 1 worked. Day 2 failed. Perhaps the account is activating. No idea Day3 and subsequent days worked. Expanded menu and convenient.

Awful. I’m in patient at my local hospital and this app for ordering meals is probably the worst, most frustrating thing I’ve ever experienced. It CONSTANTLY fails, kicks you off, and stops working. Whoever designed this crap should be ashamed of themselves.

App does work. The app does work. Looks well. A few bugs. When inputting your MRN # make sure it’s your MRN #. Not your MR #. Two different #’s. For example mine was XX-XXXXXX.

Worked great for me. I was easily able to download the app, set up my own account and order all meals for the next day in about 15 minutes. Very simple and easy to use. I did notice that there was a harder time ordering in the morning vs the day before. Being in the hospital for many days I tend to walk up early, like 5am. I realized I’d forgotten to order breakfast the day before for that morning, and it took a few tries to get the app to take it. Overall a very pleasant experience and I raved about it to all the nurses that helped me.

Horrible. Good luck trying to order your hospital meal with this app. Slow , logs you out in the middle of an order, and if it’s dinner time, you can barely log in. Not sure if the problem is in the app itself or on the back end server side. Whatever the problem fix it!!

Meal delivery. So you’re allowed to set a time for each meal to be delivered and every time I set the time it always goes back to the earliest time it can be delivered. It’s so annoying that this app can’t fix these bugs. Like come on man we’re patients that are sick and I’ll and the last thing we want is another thing to worry about. Make things easier for us not harder.

Wonderful ideal, unreliable. Difficult to log in, times out and just doesn’t work well overall. I was able to order one meal and then it never worked again. Also, the menu doesn’t include all of the paper menu options so that’s odd.

Tremendous waste of time 0 stars. The month wheel for birth dates switches back to December every time I try to enter the info to register, then it gives me an error message because that’s the wrong DOB. Complete and total programming fail. Waste of time.

Worked fine for me. Signup was easy (hospital gave clear instructions which helped), ordering food was easy. Only problem is sometimes you have to hit “refresh” once or twice to get it to load. Otherwise works great

Buggy!. This would be so convenient if it worked every time. I could get it to take one order a day possibly, but it would crash as soon as I placed the order. Every time i logged back in, it crashed. It would crash if i didnt get the order in fast enough also.

Can’t create account. To create an account you need a facility ID. First I look in the menu that tells you about the app, not there. I then tried to Google it with no luck. look around the room for info, nothing. I don’t want to bug a nurse for something that should be so simple. There should be a way to look up the facility ID on the app. Seems like a no brainier. Type in the hospital name-BOOM-facility ID.

January 2021 on boarding process is still broken. iOS developer team pls look into your on boarding flow. The information that I’ve entered 5 times is correct and the app is still saying the information is incorrect. Totally waste of time :/ Please work on this project again

Doesn’t work. I’ve been at the hospital for several days now, I’ve tried to use this app everyday to order but the date of birth box will no load correctly no matter what I try even after talking to someone about it. I’ve red downloaded it many times, reset it, checked my numbers I’ve put in, still wont work.

Error error error - never seen so many errors. I log into app. Get error message. Three log ins later finally let’s me in. Asks for hospital ID. Add it. Another error. Add again, another error but I can bypass it. Requires I add my child’s info again. I add info. Doesn’t match records. Add info again. Error message. This is on repeat until it finally accepts the info. Then it tries to get me to create an account….the account I am already logged into. Finally get to meals and can’t write notes or make any changes to options. If I wasn’t already stuck in a hospital and forced to use this app I would not use it. Terrible, horrible, no good app.

Negative stars. This is absolutely a worthless ill considered app. I’m not going to give you my email just to use it. I’m in patient for a couple days and you don’t need that info. I don’t need another account and password. I don’t trust you to not sell my info especially when you’re in bankruptcy. The scan medical record number doesn’t return the correct number.

You should be ashamed. I’m a software developer. I make mobile apps for a living. The developers of this app should be ashamed. This is borderline criminal. You have healthcare patients that need to order food through your service and this is how it functions?? For shame. The authentication flow is glitchy and not dependable. There are incredible amounts of API latency and corresponding “loading” screen animations. Images for the food are WILDLY too large. Resize them, load them to a CDN, and use optimized formats. You have a responsibility to produce software that actually FUNCTIONS. People in certain hospitals depend on this app exclusively. Our room has no backup phone service. Take the assuredly inflated fees you’re charging hospitals and invest in software that actually works. Quit gouging people for garbage. For shame.

Low sodium diet. So the app said I could use 725mg of sodium per meal. I called in to make a special request in the kitchen and the told me I was over it should be 700per meal. The operator then made changes on my order without notifying me.. it was a salad and they remove the dressing, do I look like a rabbit!?! Anyways all my orders for the day were canceled. I asked if they could fix the app and they advised to call in my order.

Terrible. Terrible functionality. Crashes EVERY time I attempt to use and or order from it. I was able to order from it once in 24 hours. Scrap it ASAP. Beyond frustrating. This app is doing wonders for my blood pressure…

Calling is so much easier. Couldn’t even create an account for my daughter because she was under the age of 13. It kept me wanting me to put my information in which obviously wouldn’t work because I wasn’t the one who was admitted. Just another junk app

Food service. Downloaded the app , it was super easy , made my order ,got my order didn’t wait to long for my food.

Worked well for me. maybe i got lucky but no issues here. slightly slow load times but so what?

Difficult to use. After putting in all my information correctly I got a message saying it did not match a current patient.

TERRIBLE - DO NOT DOWNLOAD / INSTALL. This is quote simply the worst app that I’ve ever used!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD / USE!!! Every single aspect of this app, from beginning to end, is literally the very worst app I’ve ever used. From the horrendous UI, to the completely unintuitive user experience & order flow, to (utter) lack of performance… there is not a single aspect of this app that works even marginally well. Given the very simple objective of this app, a very simple food ordering service, it is actually quite an achievement to produce an app this poor… I seriously hope health providers are not paying a single $.01 for this app!!! If you are a patient I’d highly, highly recommend you call you food order into the cafeteria instead of trying to use this thing.

Great concept but…. Even though my hospital offers this no one can seem to give me a facility ID so we can even finish signing up. It’s so frustrating! My mom is legally blind (and yes she could and has asked nurses to read the menu) but this app would give her more independence with my help. There seems to be a communication error between the hospital and the app creators. 5 stars if I can get an ID to complete sign up!

0 stars if possible. I was excited to try this app. I registered with no problem however no menu ever loaded. I’d close the app, reopen, have to register each time, and still no menu. Waste of time

Do NOT download. This is quite literally the WORST app I have ever encountered. I tried using this in 2021. I could not even create a login because “THE INFORMATION YOU ENTERED DOES NOT MATCH A CURRENT ADMISSION.” Here we are 2 years later and the same issue. The creators should be ashamed of how terrible this app is.

Unable to register. I have been unable to register, the birth month keeps switching to December when I try to continue. I’ve tried it on two different phones, same result.

Crappy app. Doesn’t even work, keeps coming up with error so now I have to sit in the phone for an hour to order food that takes almost an hour to get here.

Poor performance, CONSTANT error messages. Participated in pilot program for hospital. The app is a wonderful idea! Although, it performs VERY poorly. The software needs cleaned up. Once the bugs & kinks are worked out, it will be a nice option. Every order placed averaged 30-45 minutes to complete due to continual freezing or error messages and having to log back in. Never have I had to log in so many times!! (6-10 times, and more! Urgh!!) The font is too small, lettering is too fine, and not dark (black) enough for middle to older adults to see easily. Keep in mind, most patients in the hospital are sick/ill; most won’t have the stamina/endurance/patience to be successful with the current app and it’s challenges. Most current older adults do not have the experience, patience, and tolerance to work through the app. As the population of generations change, this opinion will change.

Systemic issues…. Either this application is coded terribly or they never train hospital staff how to use and help patients use it. I followed exactly what the hospital instructions said and couldn’t even finish account creation. Nobody knew how to help but they ar medical staff and shouldn’t have to be helping people figure this out.

So easy and convenient!. My first time using the app. I loved looking at the items before I ordered them. So easy to select what I wanted as I went through each category. I liked how I knew how much of each category I could order. It was so helpful! I also got my food really fast! I’d totally use it again.

Zero worth. It is difficult to log in. It says error all the time. How do you actually order if it boots you out of the system every 30 seconds?

Horrible app. Can’t seem to get anywhere with this app. Tried and go registered but keeps giving me error please try again when B entering password. Tried to reset and still get this message. Truly shameful.

Why make this so hard on hospital patients!. The interface to sign on this app is not user friendly at all. This should be a simple process as this app is written for patients in a hospital! Here’s some examples: -When signing in, an error message occurs that the user has to ignore and click on “cancel” in the corner instead. -Once an account is set up, you still have to input the facility number, date of birth, and MRN every time! I am doing this for a relative and can’t imagine being a patient in the hospital who has to figure all this out. There is a phone number you can call to order food instead, but there’s always a super long wait because the app is so hard to get into.

Need to Fix Bday Month bug. Please fix the bug that keeps defaulting to the bday month “December” when I try to create an account. I’ve tried to enroll several times and once I put in info, my birthday month defaults back to December. Not cool. I saw someone review with the same issue.

Fix the place where you put the month in. When you try making an account and Put your birth month in, it defaults to December and then it tells me my info is incorrect. Someone left a review in May asking to fix it and now it’s September. Why develop an app if it doesn’t work correctly. I’ll be deleting since it’s useless. Come on CBord, fix it Sinai can order my food in the hospital since I can’t talk to orde over the phone. So disappointed

Worst app I've ever experienced. Saved passwords don't work, error every single time, sometimes kicked out to sign in screen. One time it took over an hour to get signed in and ordered due to so many glitches. Do better

App does not work. and isn’t accurate in information on patient’s wristband. There is no MRN number and the only number listed as account number “with the 0000’s to omit, while adding 655- at the beginning” is bunk! How do you people operate with such pathetic QC and Zero accountability to fix something so simple!

Error error error... Oh yeah - ERROR. Errors signing up, errors signing in. When it finally does come up, it will sometimes let you see what you already ordered... Can't make an order, can't do anything really. Oh.. Even tried the web app for it. Same brownie, different plate!

Really bad. Who ever wrote this did an awful job, can’t even sign up because all the values for the birthday are hidden and seem to change everything else once I finally get the month or site right, extremely frustrating.

Horrible- does not work. I was able to use this app successfully once. And that’s using “successfully” loosely. It kept closing and redirecting me before I was able to place an order. Now when I login in I get an error message and a blank screen. I logged out and back in. Deleted and redos loaded the app. Checked my WiFi. Nothing changed. This app does not work properly.

Not a bad system. I would have given it 5 stars however it doesn’t have a place for me to add a note like don’t forget an item, as at Banner Desert there was a period they were forgetting let’s say syrup if I ordered pancakes.

Horrible. Trying to get food at a hospital first thing in the morning isn’t easy. Using this app doesn’t make it any easier. I can’t even get the app logged into the hospital. IT DOESN’T WORK. Useless in every way possible and as a sick patient, frustrating.

Agree. Should be ashamed.. Downloaded the app. I thought it would make working with UW Nutritional Services easier. It’s been a long, long time since I’ve been so frustrated with an app. Multiple attempts needed to login, can’t find your personalized menu then suddenly does, sometimes asks to to put in the hospital info which it says it doesn’t have then suddenly does, and not once since I’ve used it have i not been told there was a problem with the order and I have to then login multiple times in order to check the status of the meal. Just awful.

Failure to launch. From the get go can’t even get the app to open properly. Crashed 3-4 times before getting to the screen to create an account. Once I managed to get the account created it just says “something went wrong” and it crashes again. Pretty pathetic.

Couldn’t register; big bug. When we tried to register, the scroll wheels for the birthday were all white so we couldn’t see what date we were entering and therefore couldn’t register. iPhone 8

I can’t give you a zero so a one it is. Every single time that I’ve had to use this app it has failed. Error sign all the time!! Barely lets you in the first time you try to log in. The time that it does allow you access it goes off. If I wasn’t already admitted into the hospital trying to navigate and operate this app would put me there in the psych ward. And if I didn’t mention it already I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max that isn’t even a year old. Ughhhhh😡😡🤬

Can’t access. I have been trying to access this app for the last 2 days but get a constant error message. I have re installed the app, updated my pw but still can’t access and now can’t order meals for my mum in rehab ☹️ I have set up 3 separate accounts and when I set up a new account the app works but when I log back in again the next day I receive an error message and can’t use the app

Useless - Failure of an application. this application fails with basic UX/UI design concepts. Was neither able to log in via the mobile application or the website. The only basic information that it displays when it fails to login is “Error” try again. It doesn’t explain why was there an error? As there could be multiple reasons for this error. This makes the user do unnecessary things such as: - reset their password. - Try creating multiple accounts. It also leads to unnecessary calls to the hospital for technical support… and eventually leads to having to ring or directly visit the hospital which directly defeats the purpose of this application.

Totally useless. This app is a complete waste of time and effort. Never come across a worse app obviously coded by a total incompetent. Does not remember user account so requires creating a new account every time. Is painfully slow and obscure to navigate then most times during order process comes up with an error message and dumps you out. Really wish I could give minus stars.

Prince Charles Hospital should do better than this. It is now 7:10 pm. I want to place an order for my mother’s breakfast and the app does not let me select Tomorrow for a meal. Then it uselessly it me that each meal has ended. So I can’t order breakfast for mum, and I can’t until tomorrow breakfast time. Very very poor Unfortunately no zero star rating is possible.

Zero if I could.. Patient ID not accepted even though is same number as on the orders delivered from the kitchen.

Any hospital using this app needs to fire somebody. An awful app that makes getting food to patients exponentially harder than it should be.

Pretty much useless. No one bothered to tell me I had to order my own meals, even the snack for recovery!!! I am surprised it has one and a half stars, tbh. The app does NOT allow me to choose a time for my meal, so I figured I needed to order early. My breakfast order was submitted around 5am, but still hadn’t arrived at8:30. When I called I was told it was coming at 9am. This meant 15 hours since I had last eaten! Useless!!!!

Useless. Another corporate furfy.. Even with patience and good IT literacy, this app’s a joke. Won’t recognize my patient details, double checked all repeatedly, deleted app, tried again 3x, even nurses agree it’s frustrating & disrespectful for patients and even dangerous when you need sustenance and can’t get it cos the app doesn’t work, and landline phone orders often ring out, nobody’s answering. When you do get a person, they’re courteous, helpful, explain items, and are clearly overworked & understaffed. When you do get meals, they’re fresh & tasty, good healthy choices. Food matters when you’re in hospital or flying! Loose the app, reduce our stress!

Needs improvement. This app has the potential to be really good. Their is a need to use this app, how ever it’s usefulness isn’t where it should to be. Problems to resolve include 1. Fixing the login, five times out of ten I have to almost make a new account to use the app 2. The app doesn’t differentiate between diets allocated to each person ( I can’t access the proper diet requirements I am allowed to though this app) 3. The app needs to show the time orders are placed and allow the user to confirm their food was received. I believe these changes will make the app extremely useful, easy and an enjoyable experience for its users.

Crappy app. Breakfast delivery time no earlier than 9am, can’t change breakfast delivery time to earlier time. Doesn’t retain log in details. Clunky and VERY time consuming. Fail fail fail No way to provide feedback except via this method.

Frustrating. Whilst this app could be useful and helpful during hospital visits. I’m disappointed in the fact it comes up with continuous errors when trying to place orders, asking you to log in constantly and sometimes not even recognising logins. It essentially wastes more time then it’s worth until it is improved. Too many issues.

Could be so much better. This is a very poorly thought out app. No ability to save user credentials, requiring the user to type out email and password every time the app is used. Can’t leave the app open to save logging in as it causes the app to crash when refreshed. Ordering process is easy enough, pictures help with the ordering as you can see just what it is.

Login never works. Still broken. Undefined error message indicating failed login and to try again. The hospital‘S contracting CBORD to build this app should ask for their money back. What is the use of an app that fails most times to allow you to login to managed your meal order?!

Afterthought of an app. The app has a terrible UX, seems to be a thinly wrapped web page with no proper feedback to the user about errors, the servers or the app constantly break down communication causing long periods of in operability. However once you get in to a menu the ordering is ok, the lack of direction about the multiple menu sections for ordering is a pain and inability to save an order to repeat at another day/meal time also let’s down the user experience. As I said the app feels like an afterthought, like a salesman told a client they could do it and then the tech team had a few days to throw something together. Updates do not seem to have improved the reliability.

Patient ID does not match. Hi I have try log in with my patient ID but it didn’t match hope you do something to have current and right information about patient.

Great app but very slow. Am currently using the app 1 week into a 6 week stay in hospital. App works very well. It’s great having photos of dishes. The only downfall is it’s very slow. Also a recommendation for an improvement would be to allow people to modify a scheduled order. At the moment the only way to modify a scheduled order is to delete it and start all over again.

Waste of time and resources. I want to give this app…no star. If you are about to download this, stop. Don’t waste your time. This app does not work. Just call the cafeteria directly. It will go to voicemail but it is still 100x more reliable than this app. Even I, who dislikes phone calls and dislikes voicemails with a passion, resorted to ordering the food by phone every time, because trying to use this app was so excruciating. I hope CHEO Ottawa gets rid of this app because it only adds to the stress of the parents of sick kids. It is also unfortunate that hospital resources are being wasted on marketing this app.

Stupid app.. No way to log in for my son. No logic. Shame for developers who developed this app.

Really bad app!. This app is being used at UHNBC Prince George. Not easy to use. Randomly logs you out. Asks over and over for your MRN. Whats the point of even creating an account if you just request the information over and over? This is poorly designed. Poorly run. Did you even test this on real People?

Horrible. It should to get a zero star. The worst app I see it ever.

Horrible. I can’t believe the Children’s hospital in ottawa approved this app. It should have zero stars. It randomly logs you out. Asks for patient ID randomly. Takes 2-3 minutes for each screen to load. It loads in Spanish even though English is selected.

Cheo patient. This app doesn’t work, it creates more stress to the patient and he family, it should not be introduced if it’s not working like this!

Awful app. If I could give this app zero stars I would. It takes forever to load, crashes, gives error codes like crazy, wouldn’t let me register my son because he was under a certain age. Honestly this app needs SO much work it’s ridiculous.

Absolutely terrible. Took 4 days to get me added to the app to be able to order…. Then it takes roughly 5 minutes for the app to load every time you open it. Then, IF it opens without crashing, takes forever to load the menus. Once your food is selected, good luck trying to place the order… app crashes and kicks you back out to start all over again. Took 52 minutes to order a Caesar salad and a muffin. Could have made them both from scratch faster.

Good Idea, TERRIBLE APP. The idea of having an app where you can order your child’s meals is great and if it worked it would be wonderful. The layout is good, you choose your meals and the foods are divided by categories. The problem is that it the app is ridiculously slow and CONSTANTLY errors out and crashes. It takes about 10 tries and over 20 minutes to get a meal ordered. Half of the time you just give up and call for food.

The app is too slow and user experience is too bad. A few feedback to the dev team as I’m a developer: - App asks for login again all the time => should have a save option - Loading time is too long => server should be optimized - The menu reload all the time => the flow should be optimized (like saving the loaded menu for 15 mins or a few hours) - It takes too long to load the images for menus - The UI design is too old fashion and not convenience to switch between menus

App unreliable. App struggles to log into account and crashes frequently. Food orders don’t always go through once placed. Extremely frustrating.

Unusable. Loaded it for an order and multiple attempts never managed to actually get it to load to even get to a menu. Has anyone used this successfully? Please drop this app as a suggestion for how to order quicker, it sure doesn’t help there!

Good enough. Yes, the app asks you to log in on every app restart. Yes, the screens take time to load. But overall it’s rather usable. The meal ordering process for both patients and visitors is intuitive enough. The meals that show in the patient menu are limited to only those that are compatible with the current condition / recommended by doctors. I think the app deserves well more than the current 1.8* stars. Hint: after you click “confirm the order”, click “done” on the next screen. The kitchen will proceed to preparing meals after both confirmations received.

Not useful. Great idea but perhaps due to low bandwidth on the hospital totaly useless. Repeatedly timed out and says try again. It’s almost like a hospital meal. Sounds good but leaves a bad taste.

Birth month keeps changing to December. Massive bug. Kitchen staff urges us to use this app. I've even tried the website and cannot register. The hospital provides VERY clear information on how to register.

Need Facility ID to sign in. Didn’t get past the signup because I didn’t know the facility id. There should be a lookup capability for this requirement.

Convenient. It was at first a little confusing when I just scanned the QR code without reading anything. But after I read the couple sentences of instructions it was super simple and convenient. I love the fact I didn’t have to wait on the phone! Plus my order arrived correct every time. I do wish it gave me a estimated time of arrival. Would also be awesome to be able to order for guests. Tho what’s available now is so convenient! I’m so thankful I for this app.

Doesn’t work. Inputs my birthday as December no matter which month I select

Poor response. Tried several times to login. Got an error EVERYTIME

Bull. This app is so Trash and I hate that the cafeteria ppl pressure you into ordering in app that doesn’t work

Slow and missing item. Took an hour to for a turkey sandwich, bone broth, and spinach side order. Order arrived with spinach missing.

Broken in iOS 14.1. Freezes on the first menu page in latest iPad OS.

It doesn't work. Don't waste your time

Fix issues. When trying to register it changes the birth month to Dec so then it doesn’t recognize and won’t allow to complete registration

Signing up don’t work. Try to sign up wouldn’t let me put my birth month for iPhone 11

Absolutely terrible. Worst app I’ve ever seen - such a good idea too - FIX IT!!

Don’t bother.. Hospital can’t tell you any of the codes meaning you can’t actually do anything with it. Call doordash instead.

Bad. App is not functional, gives error messages when registering with accurate information. Ordering crashes. Gave up and called for food. Needs work.

Horrible. I logged in once, and could not log back in, no matter how many times I tried. Checked if it was an Internet issue, it was not. Absolutely remembered the right username and password, just a very flawed system.

Total loser. Couldn’t create account after three computer generated passwords. Always comes up as an error and makes you recreate account. NO THANKS! Developers need to fix this glitch!

Garbage. All I get at random times is “Attention. There was an error. Please try again” message. No functionality. No explanation. Garbage.

Worst app ever. Doesn’t load. When it does, it continually gets errors, freezes, or resets. Terrible app.

Pretty terrible. I have to re-enter all the information every time I open the app. And then in the end it can't place the order...
