Dear. The Buttons on the bottom of the screen aren’t centered man

Phone running hot when app is running. The ui is pretty, has some major usability issues. But, my gripe is the iphone 7 is running considerably hot when the app is running. Probably optimization issues as it is new. I will see a few days if an update will fix this. A tip to devs: If you want the “hot new top” categories as tabs make them as tabs not as swipy things.

If it works it’s going straight to the top. Thank you, hope you get a design award some day.

Buggy. I really like the interface but the app needs work. Audio from videos continues to play after leaving the built in viewer. The app begins to lag the further down the rabbit hole you go, which can cause multiple instances of images opening—which each have to be individually closed. If comment threads are long, the furthest down posts do not load. The concept and design are both fantastic, but it needs work.

Good concept. Keep up the good work!

Suggestion to Dev. Tbh, from my own opinion, the futuristic layout is a fundamental flaw to the app. It spend much more time just to scroll down the comments section like other clients, Apollo, Reddit, etc. Since Reddit is driven by content. If an app try to be competitive than others by only differentiating layout, reading experience must be compensated. While THIS, I could say, hurt the user experience a lot On the other hand, Dev should check out every competitor. From the app what I tried before, they basically use the same layout with official one

Beautiful application, one issue.. Beautiful app, but am not seeing post images, even while not in compact view. If this worked it’d make browsing way better. Not sure why it’s not.

A truly unique (and excellent) Reddit app for iOS. As someone with both an Android and iOS phone I have always lamented the lack of truly good reddit apps on iOS, with their own style and flow that just fit the OS. That is no longer the case. This reddit client is minimal, unique, smart, and just a joy to use. I love it. I really love the concept Alex, and it’s an incredibly well done app. Keep up the good work. :) My only suggestion is instead of showing tags on the title cards put the subreddit the post is from there instead. Some subreddits I sub to are very similar and without context the posts can be kind of confusing? Otherwise. Incredible start. Can’t wait to see where this goes.

Wow. Amazing design, amazing concept, incredible application.

3D Touch. Force Touch is the name of the technology for trackpads on the recent versions of MacBooks. On iPhones it's called 3D Touch, which isn't really the same thing (the screen can be pressed down, or at least feels like it can be pressed down).

Beautifully simple and smooth but.... The Ui is so smooth and simple and looks so good however some thing I wish the app had are: 1) the option to toggle auto play for videos and gifs so you don’t have to click a post to watch the video or get redirected to an external site, 2) subreddit heading so I know what subreddit the post is from at a glance. 3) full image cards, again so you can just scroll through content. 4) hide read posts on scroll. Other than that, this client has so much potential. Update: several months later. It seems development has stopped. Update: year later. Nothing

It’s not bad, just needs some more buffs. I like Burst, it’s the best Reddit viewer I’ve had so far. My only real complaints are I can’t see cake days, gifs don’t play automatically and that subreddits are only in compact mode. Other than that, the app has an amazing feel and look and I look forward to future updates

Good app needs updates. I like how they integrated the force tough but, swiping seems to be pretty left out. Having to press an "X" to get out of the comment is a little unintuitive. I also feel like there needs to be a constant search bar. Having to scroll all the way back up to the top for that is a little annoying.

Good, but needs more options. This app is beautiful. I love the UI in every way. But I have a couple complaints. I want to turn off the repost merging functionality as well as add what sub the post is from in the feed. If those two things were added, this would be my 100% daily reddit driver.

Great Start for this App. i’ve used several reddit apps and i love the UI of this app the best; very intuitive and smooth. lots of great potential here. however, i do have 2 criticisms. 2) the image viewer does need a little work in my opinion. certain images from imgur come through as low res and becomes illegible. 3) after purchasing remove ad option, removing the purchase button itself would be ideal. keep up the great work, Alex! i really think you have something here.

Some improvements. I really like the idea, but I find it a little hard to use the app due to the minimal style, esp. when I want to see upvote count or which subreddit a post is in. It would be great to bring the info like OP's username, subreddit, upvote count, and time since posted from the swipe over to the front of the card. I think it could be doable without sacrificing the minimalism, and it would save time.

Love the design. I really do, even how I navigate through comments, but this is reddit, I need to be able to hide the posts I've passed through and auto playing GIFs, otherwise the experience is very depressing

Ambitious idea that has room for small improvements. This is a huge idea that connects with Project Xanadu - a single link/article now connects all comments into a minimalist visualization. This may even push future ideas of comment aggregation - imagine YouTube and Reddit and Ycombinator all in one (though that could lead to the Facebook-ization of comments and not just social media profiles. Some issues: - I don’t exactly know how to open the actual link/article! I need a visual tutorial for that. (Found it was to just tap - whoops) - If there are several subreddits of comments, I wish I could access a table of contents to quickly go to one subreddit or the other - perhaps when the subscribed subreddit’s comments end? - Can’t copy and paste text of comments or subreddit info. - hide Remove Ads / Change to “donate” when someone has paid. - Multireddits of course!

Excellent. If this app had full-size cards like narwhal or the official app and you could enable auto play of stuff like gifs, it would be my default app hands down. Easily the most attractive reddit app I have used. For me, the way the comments work is perfect. Not only do I get the ‘bubble burst’ thing going, but it seems to cut down on a little of the rabbit hole-esque memery that the comments always revolve into after one or 2 levels of comments.

Slick!. Very nice so far. I’m loving the layout.

Sleek and intuitive reddit app. Really satisfied with Burst. Would be even better with cards that fit the height of the image instead of a fixed height.

Great!. This app is wonderful for browsing Reddit. It looks nice, and it gives a unique perspective to every post. While it could be better, such as swiping to the side for comments is a bit too sensitive, i’m very excited to switch from the default Reddit app.

This jawn is Fuego. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Love it!. I’ve tried almost every Reddit client on the App Store. I keep going back to the official Reddit app because it has everything I need and for now this app is still a work in progress. I’ve noticed little animation glitches when swiping between comments and I hope a compose button will be added so I can send messages to other Reddit users on here. That along with message notifications would make me delete the official app once and for all. Great start! Keep up the good work!

Awesome app, but two problems :(. I love this app. It’s buttery smooth, smartly designed, and most of all it lets me take a short dip into comments without getting lost in all of reddit. It’s definitely my favorite reddit app by far! But about a year ago I stopped using it because of two problems. And unfortunately they still exist. 1: sometimes when trying to swipe down to exit a preview, it just. Doesn’t? The image just bounces back up and you have to use the “x” button instead. Not a huge deal, but it does break the flow that makes this app so awesome. 2: and then here’s the deal breaker. About half the posts that are gifs are in horrible quality. You can see the preview which looks decent, and you can open the post in other reddit apps and have the quality you expect. But when you open it through Burst you would swear you just opened a 240p YouTube video (sometimes worse) That alone is the reason I can’t keep using this app. If it was just a low quality post that would be one thing, but when multiple other reddit apps show it in perfect quality, it’s a whole other issue. So for now I’ll be switching back to the official reddit app. But I’ll be keeping an eye on Burst in hopes of some fixes rolling out! Easy 5 star if that happens!

The app would be perfect if there was a setting to view an entire comment section. I know the entire point of the app is to burst the bubble, but I would love for there to be an option to change the way comments are view to the traditional way; burst is by far the best looking client and I would love to make it my daily driver, but the comment viewing is too tedious. Great app otherwise!

Looks great, but.... First things first, this app looks amazing. The UI matches Apple’s look seamlessly. The font, colors, and edges/curves have that beautiful apple aesthetic. There are a few complaints here though. 1. Force touch is pretty buggy. 2. Videos, GIFs, and even pictures load much slower than something like Apollo or even the official Reddit app. 3. The app needs to allow us to save pictures via long press. 4. The app needs the ability to change what browser links and videos open in, say like Chrome and the YouTube app. 5. The app needs a way to quickly change the night and dark themes like the Apollo app has “quick change” 6. There needs to be a feature for multiple accounts. 7. Just another thought, but the app icon is not very distinguishable as Reddit, or a Reddit app. Maybe something as simple a the Reddit alien on the top of the blue rings would suffice to help this app noticeably be “Reddit” Honestly I think the developers need to look at their main competitor, Apollo, and try to implement several of the intuitive features there into their app and it would be perfect. I will still use this over Apollo, because I find the bubble system for comments a much easier way to follow the conversation, and because the overall app UI and theme matches the Apple UI to a dime.

Good idea, force touch is non existent. Although I like the app as an idea, there is a big force touch bug that is infuriating to use especially Because that's how your supposed to use the app anyway. When opening the app for the first time, there is a fake subreddit, or is very hard to find, telling you how to use the app. It's just simply not a good client Note, I do have an X and I have seen a couple other apps not be able to do 3D touch inside, so it may be an iOS bug, but other apps allow me to 3D touch so I highly doubt it. Please fix this, I would love to post an unbiased review at one point

My favourite reddit app. Great App, Easy to navigate.

Missing a lot of features. No startup guide on how to use. Can’t hold on images to save, can’t remove add subreddits, no settings bar to customise feed colors, design

It’s good. I like the app a lot! -good looking - simple - fits the iPhone X the well. All it needs is to show the votes on individual comments and I will gladly give a 5/5 and pay to remove adds.

Really unique!. Super unique approach to Reddit, unlike anything I've used before. Super slick, intuitive gestures.

It’s like Apple decides to make a reddit app. I love how it looks. It looks just like Music and Photos. Would be nice if the bottom bar can be hidden while viewing image though, and the bottom bar seems to be noticeably larger than Apple’s apps. Maybe “Menu” in the top left will fit Apple’s UI better than the current grey burger button?

Really nice app! Just minor issues. The app is good but a problem I have is everything I comment has my message in it but a ton of “%20ao%20” a ton of times. Any other apps don’t do this. I’m not sure if you plan to implement a dark mode for the app but if you do, it’d be great to have it very easily accessible after opening the left menu When going through your feed or cards, the threads without images are very slim compared to the ones with it, it’s understandable, there’s no picture! But to compensate to increase the size a bit for just text posts when you’re viewing and haven’t clicked would be to show which subreddit it’s coming from and how many points it has. Other than that, great!

It's an interesting concept but the app is really slow. This is more for the developer than other users. Update: I’m using a 6s+ First off the UI is really interesting. The problem is it's unpolished and can be very slow. For example, I tap an image. The app does nothing. I tap again, still nothing, I tap again and the image vc animates 3 times. I would love to see a larger preview of images so I don't need to tap every image. Lastly presenting comments from multiple subreddits is great. I think the UI could be improved like this: R/subredditName Top comment See more comments from this community button Then repeat that below with the next community. The swiping between subreddits doesn't work for me. I could go on but this is already to long.

Trouble logging in. I'm able to grant the app permission to access my account details but when returning to the app the loading symbol just spins, and no data is loaded in any of the tabs. Closing out the app just resets the login process and returns to the default no user config. iPhone SE (2016).

Can’t log in. After clicking “Allow” I get a spinner forever and it never logs me in.

Such a fresh approach to reddit!. Really love this app, will definitely change to 5 stars when can see favourite subreddits and dark theme! Dark mode is here!!
