Ridiculous number of ads.. This is the first game I've ever played in which there is an annoying ad between EVERY SINGLE TURN. Some you can quickly close, some you are forced to watch in entirety. It takes longer to deal with the ad than it does to take your turn in the game. Absolutely inexcusable; removed app in less than 10 minutes and don't plan to ever install another one from these people. Instead of their ads enticing me to buy something, they have made me want to never buy from them...ever. Great job.

Skip it.. Gave it the few minutes that it didn’t really deserve and still couldn’t figure out really how to make it work. Uninstall.

What am I missing?. Can’t get past the 2nd thing to throw (I got Ludwig). I tried the tutorial and it’s not helpful. I appreciate there is a way to spin him around and gain momentum and toss him further, but every time, my option is to repeat or watch a video. There is a little gift box icon too, but no gift comes up... kind of disappointed. Seems like it could be fun. I’d rather pay $2-3 and get rid of the ads. Even switching to banner is no good because i still have to watch videos AND the banners cover the controls buttons at the bottom. Sigh.

Looks nice but.... I’m definitely into the aesthetic of this game, but the gameplay itself is very repetitive and I think I spent the same amount of time watching ads as I did actually playing. Not worth it.

Fantastic Number of Ads!!!. This is a great little game, clever and whimsical; however, unless you enjoy noisy advertisements for other games that are neither clever nor whimsical, this is not for you. Should you accidentally touch the screen during these longish and tiresome ads, you will be whisked away to some demo of the game. Once you find your way back, your only option is to watch the advertisement all over again. If that sounds bad enough, understand this will occur on every turn you have at this little game! An option to purchase the game would be preferable to me. But sadly, there is no option to remove the ads. So I had no choice but to delete this game after a few minutes of play and quite a few more minutes of ads for music, bingo games, a golf game and the like. You’ll be tempted, but be forewarned.

Fun, but too many ads. It's a fun game, but the ads are just too disruptive. Deleting until a reasonably-priced paid version is available.

Visually appealing and fun but....... The ads are annoying! Love the game but I just can’t take the constant interruptions. A full-page, 10-30 second promotion after every play of the game? Too much!!!

Why bother?. Constant ads, repetitive gameplay, you play one or two rounds and that's pretty much all to this game. Honestly, you'll take longer downloading this than actually playing it. A complete waste of time

A triumphant masterpiece but.... This simple game is beautifully designed. The style, humor, and execution is perfect. Wonderful game. But the ads render the game unplayable. It plays a 30 second un-skippable, full page advertisement after every single toss. It kills any sense of humor, fun, or excitement. Remove the ads, or this game will remain unplayable. For the record, I would be leaving a five star review if the app cost 2 dollars and had no ads. Seriously. I would pay to play this game, but I will NOT watch a full page, 30 second ad after every 5ish second toss. That's asinine.

My opinion on the game of Verticow. I️ first downloaded this game after hours of being Bored and looking for something to do. I stumbled upon this game that didn’t really seem too promising but I️ decided to download it anyways. I️ opened I️t up, learned how to play, and was instantly hooked. Over time I’ve unlocked all the characters holding my breath each spin hoping I️ will unlock them all. I️ have reached high scores of 2300+ using all sorts of strategies. I️ had gone from being bored all day to having a fun and interesting game to play in my free time. I️ highly recommend this game to those who are bored and feel like spending time playing games. This is the app for you.

Love this game but.... It's got great character and is fun to play but there is no option to get rid of the ads and there are a lot of them. Fix that and it's 5 stars.

Ads ruin it. Too many ads. Provide a way to remove them by paying or something. Game is unplayable with these constant ads.

Racist Images. This game is really fun and addicting, but once I unlocked the Brandy Bottle I noticed that there was a racist character labeled on the bottle. I’m really disappointed.

Quirky and fun game. BEFORE YOU REVIEW— There are not as many ads as you think! Go to the settings in the top right and click BANNER for advertisements, instead of full screen. Besides these complaints, the game is actually very enjoyable and fun. Gameplay is simple, but a bit harder to master to getting the timing right. I like how you can challenge yourself with different characters, and the simple graphics are just really cool. Try this game out!

Endless Fun. Great, lots of fun. I've gotten pretty good I guess, but I wish high scores for each fling thing were saved, not just overall high score.

Best game ever! Super addictive quick play. Anyone who has ever been a gymnast needs to download this game immediately. I was dreaming of giants the night after I first played. So fun and so well done! Kudos to the creators! Butterfly is def my fav character! Such great form!

Completely stupid. I love it!. Ok I just spent the last 24 hours or so gleefully flinging raw chickens and potted plants across antique clip art. I doubt it will hold my attention for long, but for what it is? This is awesome. BTW I’m not getting ads anywhere near as often as after each toss. Not sure if there have been changes or what.

super fun. the concept has a lot of potential, and i’m glad you can play without wifi. it’s a fun game and the characters are hilarious, overall very addictive and distracting :)

My opinion. This game is awesome! I was Bored one day and I decided to scroll through the App Store (‘cause that’s what I do) and stumbled upon THIS GAME. I love it! The graphics are simple, random, and funny 😆!!! Definitely a keeper!!! I also want to say that THE ADS AREN’T EVEN THAT BAD! They’re only 30 seconds. And they don’t come around often! YOU WILL LIVE. Great game, but LET ME REMOVE ADS. Hello! Love phillip's games so much, but drives mem nuts i can't pay to remove ads. It's such a bummer in a cool and beautiful game like this to constantly have to deal with ads.

Too many ads. I agree with the other reviewers. Too many ads. That’s why I’ve given it 2 Stars. I probably won’t sit through the ads. Charge a $1 without ads and you’ll make a fortune. Your game is nonverbal and can cut across the language barrier extending your market. Very creative and challenging.

Gets boring. For the first few hours I had this game it was quite fun, but after a while it got repetitive. There is a vintage aspect to the art style that can be appreciated. When playing the game I’m not sure if it’s just me but all the scores I get are very similar and hard to pass 30.

Way to many adds!!!!!. Way to many adds and get in the way of playing. When ever you finish a level the adds come up and you have to see them. Haven't been able to get past the adds.

This game is hilarious!. I can’t seem to get myself to stop playing and the art style is so fun and unique! Sure the ads may be annoying but it ain’t so bad. Great job on this game!

flip the ads. The game is clever, and the graphics are lovely (and very Monty Python-ish), but the inability to escape almost constant ads greatly diminishes it’s enjoyment. I emailed Phillipp and he told me that the SDK he uses does not communicate well with Apples in-app purchase system. If and when that gets fixed, he’d be happy to add that option.

Racist Imagery. I was really enjoying this game until I unlocked the Brandy bottle character, which features an outdated and racist image. I get it’s supposed to be vintage or whatever, but the developer should know better.

Wonderfully whimsical. Great game but please offer a paid version because the adverts are awful!

Love this game!. The game is way too addicting. Can't stop playing it, but there is one thing I somewhat dislike- the sound effects get too old too soon. Every time you click it makes a grunt or a squeak and it gets annoying after awhile

Killed by ads. I downloaded this based on a review article I read. I did find the game to be amusingly offbeat once I got used to it, but the frequency and length of the ads that appear basically ruined any enjoyment I was getting out of it. As a previous reviewer noted, there is no option to purchae the game to do away with the ads. I stopped playing the game because of that, and ended up deleting it.

The ads ruin it. This is a game that is actually a lot of fun to play and quite humorous as well. But the ads ruin it for me and there’s no paid version to get rid of them. I have one other game on my phone and it’s solitaire. I would add this and play it if it weren’t for all the stupid ads.

Great Game!. I give this game five stars because it is addictive, challenging, and the graphics are incredible and classic. Whenever I get bored, I decide to try and beat my high-score of 391.2 with Ludwig, my favorite character. It's a challenge to beat your high-score, and to get new characters by spinning the wheel. It keeps you engaged in the game and interested in the new, secret characters. The graphics are interesting and random, and nice to look at. Lastly, I don't think there are too many ads, and they aren't that bothersome. All in all, a great game, and one that everyone should have.

The 4th one is called David longbottom Jr. The 4th he is 5’9 and 170 pounds he has severe autism. He jumped down the stairs while saying googoo Gaga. We now have a gate at the top of the stairs. David longbottom (my husband) is a professor at Longbottom university. He likes to eat the food I make in our ranch house. I made him chesbungers last night and he ate 16 of them! Actually challenging. At first I thought the game was limited because I figure out how to whip the momentum, but there's still an aiming element, in addition to the awkward shapes. The artwork is perfect.

Try then delete. The aesthetics of this game are brilliant. The physics are perfect and entertaining and the humor is great. But the experience is just a novelty that wears off very quickly and the extreme number of ads is more ludicrous than the game itself. I played this for about 5 minutes then deleted it. Shame, really, because the developer is clearly talented and capable of something great. This just isn’t it.

It's fun but........ This game can be a lot of fun. The only problem is there's to many ads. You can't progress to the next object unless you 1) set a new distance record or 2) watch an ad. That doesn't sound all that bad but I set a ridiculously long record of 171 at the start and had to watch an ad every min or so just to progress. Very annoying! Has potential.....lost it in trying to pay the bills

Love all his games!. Seriously, this guy makes the best games on all of the app store, his visuals are so unique and wacky and his sound effects are so enchanting they take you to another world. His ideas are so simple and straight forward, as soon as you set it up you’re just in it and it takes you a few seconds to figure out how to play and immediately fun in just a few seconds, you just load up and play. i already downloaded all the games and suggest everyone do the same. This guy has an amazingly creative mind and a unique design perspective that keeps me amused and dazzled. Marvelous games, fabulous everything! Three thumbs up!

Remove the ads!. I love this game but as long as there’s no option to remove ads I give it one star. Dammit I’m willing to pay to get rid of them!!!

Love this game!. I love this game. The physics work well and feel real - well as real as imagine tossing a bear holding a deer can be. The surreal absurdist graphics appeal to my sense of the ridiculous. I’m reall tempted to pay the 99c to remove ads but worried I won’t be able to get more characters with the spinner. Lots of fun.

Great Game but ...... Am disappointed .. paid the 99cent add free version .. but still get ads? Cannot seem to contact Game Developer to report this except by this review forum. All that aside..love the quirky graphics throughout but would be far more pleasing without that add banner. Hope they can sort it out.

Too many long ads. You watch ads almost twice as long as you get to play.

Because zero star is not an option. The most boring and pretentious game I have ever played. Too many ads? Not at all! The ads were far more enjoyable than the actual game.

Runtime error. I truly wish that I didn’t have to leave a negative review on this app, however, with the most recent update, I’ve been getting a runtime error whenever I open the app. The runtime error reads as follows: json.prettify takes a string or a table (got a number) I do love this game, but if I cannot run the game I cannot leave a positive review. Please contact me when the bug is fixed and I will take this negative review down.
