BMW Motorrad Connected App Description & Overview

What is bmw motorrad connected app? Get the best out of your rides by transforming your smartphone into a motorcycle tool using the BMW Motorrad Connected app.

Use our app to plan your dream routes or import routes as a GPX file.

Thanks to the networking with your motorcycle, you can record all the relevant information about your ride if you want.

If your BMW motorcycle is equipped with a TFT display and Connectivity, simply connect to your motorcycle with Bluetooth to do this.

If your BMW motorcycle does not have a TFT display but does have a Multi-Controller and navigation preparation, then get the ConnectedRide Cradle and turn your smartphone into a motorcycle display.

No matter whether you choose the option of “fast” (direct route) or “curvy” (route with a lot of turns), you can always keep your route reliably in view thanks to voice announcements to your communication system and navigation instructions that are easy to see in the display. By using the intuitive Multi-Controller, you can control everything safely without having to take your hands off the handlebars.

Want to keep your friends up to date? Then easily share your riding data and photos on social media.

We are continuously refining our app for you. Stay tuned to discover the latest functions.

BMW Motorrad Connected Comments & Reviews 2026

Cristal vulnerability. I own both the R1250RT and the R1250GS and in my opinion the overall Connectivity package and specifically the Navigation component, is a poorly designed package that is unreliable to the point of making it almost unusable save for a trip to the local supermarket. Even in this case you had better know where it is. The designers of the 2021 RT clearly do not own a modern smart phone as anything other than the smallest models do not fit the phone enclosure. Also the designers are not aware of how people use their phones given that the Connectivity App must be the dominant app and always open. If you try and access any other App the mapping function will stop working. Perhaps for some this is ok but the killer is the unfailing unreliability of the system. It is so unstable that you can not rely on it for touring or even the most simplest of routes. It’s when and not if the Connected App loses connection with the TFT the only remedy is to stop the bike, remove the phone from its prison, switch the ignition off and attempt to reconnect. If you are lucky it will reconnect but only until you lose the connection again, typically 15-20mins down the road. If the same shabby design and implementation standards were applied to any of the safety systems on the bike it is no exaggeration to say lives would be lost.

Navigation needs work - can’t find many restaurants by name. I love the aesthetics of the app. But the navigation leaves a lot to be desired. I drove my brand new 2022 GSA home and when I was still 35 miles away it said I arrived and stopped routing. I am lucky I was in my home area. If I was out and about I would have been sierra oscar lima. But the metrics. Oh I love those. That’s what saved this from being a one star review. Updated review: Navigation works well. Some addresses it can’t find. But the app is solid. A nice to have feature would be adding the average fuel economy to the saved rides. Update: 5.1.0 displays speed limits in km/h not mph.

Cumbersome. From trying to download maps to planning a route and moving past the current waypoint this App is inconvenient. There are little steps and tricks which must be learned that are not clear or intuitive. One of the most frustrating was driving in circles thinking I was missing a turn but no the way point was 10’ off the road. I figured out the clicks to get the app to drop the current way point, but the sensitivity for automatically advancing to the next waypoint needs to be adjustable. Also: stop with the 30 day warning. Nobody is going to use this app unless they have a BMW bike. And finally: stop asking for always on / precise location. BMW does not need to constantly track my location.

Overall a great app but a little buggy. I have been enjoying the BMW connected ride with my F750GS for about a year now. The bike integration is fantastic, but there are a couple of bugs that need to be addressed: - The real time speed limit is displayed in Km/h although I have set my preference to use Miles/h as the speed unit. A couple of releases back there was a different issue where the reported speed limit was one mile less than the actual limit! After fixing that issue, it is amazing to see a completely different issue affecting the same functionality! - The percentage of fuel remaining occasionally gets “stuck” at a certain level and won’t reflect the true fuel remaining. Once the tank is topped again, it jumps back to 100% and continues to be accurate until it will get stuck at some random point and won’t go down anymore! In contrast, the estimated remaining mileage seems to work correctly and stay always in-sync with the bike. Overall, the app is great and works quite well! Thank you!

This App needs improvement!. I really want to use this app but it gives me headache! First of all, something happened to the app lately and it started acting weird. Navigation commands are not happening sufficiently. (It’s set to max) most of the commands are not spoken through the bluetooth headset. It’s so hard to keep on the route because the app’s navigation commands are not shown on the screen / spoken through the headset to the very last moment of the turns / outs etc. It is very hard to take an exit if it’s shown 200 feets before reaching the exit when you are travelling 75mph on a highway. Please fix this navigation commands bug and let us know which way to go before at least 1.8 miles! Also, if you are using the app in the US it sounds weird too. The app says “N” instead of “North” or it says “D-R” instead of “DRIVE” etc. I hope the developers will get together because I’d really love to use this app since there is no other app that can use the bike’s TFT screen this way.

Connectivity with 2020 models is horrible. I agree with previous reviews saying this app has a ton of potential. Unfortunately I’ve found that even with the app open while riding, and I’ve tried opening the map portion as well, it rarely records my rides. I have a 2020 R1250 GSA, 2020 R1250 R, & 2020 R1250 RS and the app only records rides about 1/3 of the time. This is supremely disappointing. Not only are the maps Garmin driven, which are horrible and restricting, it now won’t record many details I look for such as the timing of routes I ride, lean angles, etc. according to my app I’ve done nearly 400 miles in the last two weeks without any recorded rides. Such a shame.

May 30, 2020 with BMW Motorrad Connected App. Overall it was good, but a few times it got confused and wanted me to turn the wrong direction. Also, it dropped out late in the day. Bluetooth was still connected I think, because the cell phone battery charge status was still being displayed along with signal strength. Navigation was no longer available as a choice on the TFT menu. The directions that were working moments earlier were suddenly gone and never reappeared.

Needs Work. The development team needs to have the same attention to detail as the motorcycle engineers. Lots of little things need to be cleaned up. The navigation system needs the ability to edit the names of favorites, the speed does not work on route history, and the route does not seem to start until I have been on the road for a few minutes or more. I am a new user, so I will continue to collect my recommendations.

Can’t believe BMW won’t work with Apple Play. Can’t believe BMW won’t work with Apple Play. Recently I had the following issues with the newest version: It displays the map on a split screen without any issues. However, when switched to full-screen map mode, the screen remains empty. That is, it doesn't show the map until you exit and re-enter (reconnect) map mode in the app. Also if you switch other way it is also blank in split screen.

Cool concept, but still needs work.. The application does not reliably connect to the bike. I have a 2018 GSA and the phone will connect when the bike is started. The little phone icon becomes visible on the TFT. It also shows in the Bluetooth settings in the bike that it is connected. However, when I start the app it usually states that it is disconnected. I usually have to disconnect the phone from the bike and reconnect it. Then close and reopen the application to get it to connect. I can usually get it to connect, but it is not a seamless process. I often have the same problems with the Sena 30k not connecting to the bike. It is hit or miss. When the Sena is connected to the bike the mesh technology of the Sena usually cuts out and I am unable to communicate with my friends. I then need to disconnect the Sena from the bike to communicate again. Not sure if this is a Sena or a BMW problem. When the app does work it is pretty cool that it looks like a GPS once you start to ride. Unfortunately it doesn’t have the functionality of a normal GPS such as Google or Apple Maps. It would be very nice if it was able to incorporate Google or Apple maps into this process. Fyi, My phone is an iPhone X and both the phone and Sena are always kept current with software updates.

Great App but, here are my feature requests to make it better.. The app gets all the hate and it is for good reasons. Although the app has improved a lot since 2021 there’s a long way to go. Some minor additions mentioned below will hugely improve the usability 1. Show the name of the street/road we are on in the map mode. This shows when the map mode is deactivated but DOESNT show when Map mode is active. 2. Option to change font size for Map Mode so that street names are easily readable. 3. One click option to start new or stop navigation while in map mode instead of going through 3 menus. The ones below are bigger development ideas. 4. Make it a community, not that difficult to build. Able to share location with friends via Connected app and show friends locations on the map mode. 5. This one is also difficult. But will be a great feature in the future. Option to crowd source data like Waze but with one click of wonder wheel while in map mode.

Always Allow Location Setting annoying.. The app is not bad (“net schlecht”). Navigation could be a bit better. I’d love to give my favorite recent destinations nick names. Mostly annoying is that location access needs to be always active even when you’re not using the app. This drains battery and is a usability issue that may become a privacy issue one day. Don’t know why BMW needs my location data when I’m not riding, also I don’t know why backgrounding the app and allow location access only when the app is running shouldn’t do the trick. Hire better devs to figure it out.

Down to one main issue. Establishing the map mode is slow. Once established any text or phone call causes the app to drop out of map mode. I have yet to find a setting that keeps the latter from happening. Part of my problem maybe that I don’t operate with cellular data because in my area it is unreliable and would lead to excessive charges, or if I were to go unlimited I would be constantly throttled due to the time outs. So,perhaps, with cellular data th map mode is less affected by other apps, but I can’t tell. The BMW developers were quick to fix the login issue.

SIGH. This app…my biggest gripe isn’t that we have to leave it open to use it, it’s that the map displayed on the bike (CE04 for what it’s worth) will inevitably stop working and switch to the directional arrow. Then when I come to a stop to look at the app on my phone…the camera app is on. This happens regularly enough that I can’t score higher than a 3 star… Since we rely on our phones I think many of us would like Apple Maps integration. Better navigation voice, nicer maps…

Greatest Motorbike/iPhone connected app for navigation. Only if the app allows owners to reset annoying Service Light and Reset Service intervals. Please update motorbike software to include Apple CarPlay if that’s possible. Please make SEARCH map feature and one finger zoom int/out similar to Google map search feature to search everything.

Very responsive app. Still rather raw and needs more features. It has good integration with my R1300GS but the navigation features are very poor: * There is no good way to manage favorite locations. Can we have a renaming option both in the list of favorite destination and on the map when adding to favorite? * The map is very bare and difficult to read. Can you made the road more distinctive? * Add known trails to the map. Google and apple maps show more roads in the area. * Make syncronyzation easier with the BMW CRN. Old Garmin navigator had an option to import destination from the app. Can this app start navigation on the CRN?

K1600B 2023. I finally figured out how to make the app stay connected. I now am forced to use an old phone because my new one does not fit in cradle. If I turn off the bike mid route it will not resume to next waypoint reliably. On my last outing I had 6 waypoints and I finally made each one a separate trip. Planning a trip with a start other than where you are requires that you enter 2 points then delete start point. The bike tracking and service tracking work great I wish it was as easy to use as Google maps.

Much improved from 2023 but…. This app does a great job tracking detailed info about my rides, and I love that data. I’ve been using the app since 2021, and it’s gotten much less buggy over time. I don’t really use the navigation options because there are more robust options available but bike and ride tracking data are great. Ride recordings are usually automatic and include speed, lean angle, accel and decel G, ABS events, etc. Very cool. There is one irritation still in the app - about once a month my authentication to the app expires and I have to re-log in. There’s no notification of this and the app won’t do anything (including local, non-cloud related things) until I log in. My only clue is that I’m 20 miles into a ride and notice the speed limit for the road I’m on isn’t displayed on my bike’s TFT in the white box like it usually is. And since I don’t notice this for a bit the first part of the ride isn’t tracked and is lost. So I find a safe place to pull over, take off my gloves, unlock my phone, open the app and my password manager, log in to the Connected app, re-glove, and tracking resumes. If I’m in a group ride this isn’t feasible. It would be great if the app would still track and provide speed limit data to the bike pre-login, or don’t expire the login, or at least do a push notification to the user in the phone or bike when re-authentication is required. I suppose if this is my biggest complaint the app is pretty good.

2023 BMW S1000RR. Finally made it to the other side and I must say I am very impressed with the bike and app. Tons of tech and it just seems to work. Adding CarPlay would really elevate the system. This would be a wish list thing for the developers. Luckily I haven’t experienced any issues as others have stated. FYI using a Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max! Keep up the good work and give us some more!!!

UNRELIABLE GPS/Location Tracking!. Since I’m a loyal BMW customer, I recently purchased a S1000RR M Pkg for street/track. The salesperson showed me how cool the Motorrad Connected app was, and I got to admit it’s such a great concept! However, this whole package is a connectivity nightmare. Upon leaving the dealership, the navigation screen on the TFT froze, leaving me stranded in an unfamiliar area. I pulled over, restarted everything to get back on the way home. This similar problem occurred multiple times, rendering me lost and frustrated on the side of the road. And yes, the app’s permissions are set to “always”. If I knew the way, I wouldn’t need to use navigation, right? Like others have stated, we don’t know if this is due to the app or the bike’s hardware. If I can, I’d rename this app “Motorrad Disconnected”.

Need additional features and improvements. The looks pretty fine. How ever I noticed some things so far that might be more helpful 1. Able to share location from Google maps which will be much better 2. iOS widget which shows the vehicle information. This is not necessarily needed. 3. Have gave permission to share the location always which I don’t believe its not needed and this needs to be reconsidered as it reduces the battery drain.

I wanted it to work.. I tried this when I purchased my bike 2 years ago. It struggled to connect and would lose connection during a ride. So, I deleted it. A week ago I thought I would try it again. It has the exact same issues. I used it every day for that week. The navigation would lose connections 4 or 5 times during a 30 minute ride. At no time during my last ride did it ever sync with iTunes on my phone. I have deleted the application once more. Maybe in two more years they can get it fixed.

GPS in Error. So I input my home address and I told the app to take me there. It tried to take me down a dirt drive (maybe 300ft West of my driveway). So I parked at my address and it tells me I'm at an address maybe 300 ft East of where I actually am. It wants me to ride back 300ft West then turn down the dirt driveway and then go through woods to a spot deep in my backyard. What is going on? Google Maps and Apple Maps recognize my address as the correct driveway, and they take me right to my mailbox. I put the same address into this app and it is unable to direct me there. This is exactly why so many people are unhappy with the app and just want Apple Car play.

Excellent App.. This app is really cool. I’m not sure why the ratings are so low, but I think it might be because your need to open the app on your phone BEFORE you turn your bike on. Otherwise, it won’t link up to your bike. The trips feature is really cool. It maps your entire ride/trip and you have the ability to have your pictures taken on that ride marked on the map of where it was taken. It has information like max speed, temperature and total distance. It tells you how far you are from the next gas station and tracks the ride even when your out of cell reception. The only thing I would like to was addressed in a future update would be to have the ability to change tire pressure from BAR to PSI on the app. This is a must have for anyone with the TFT screen.

A good start!. The navigation is actually quite good, save for some peculiar routing from time to time eg: telling you to stay all the way left in the express lane, then suddenly telling you to exit the highway, which is six lanes wide. And when it tells you to exit, it says "out" of the highway, not "off". It would be great if the app would (or could) auto open and connect to the bike once detected, as is now, it connects to the TFT approximately 75% of the time. The app largely makes the BMW navigator (V & VI) redundant unless you're going on an extended trip with waypoints/shaping points, or off-road. For day-to-day use, the TFT & app is all you need.

Can’t reset password and no support available. I am trying to get a new ConnectedRide Navigator configured and the app keeps demanding I reset my password. Every attempt fails and tells me my new password isn’t valid and I need to request a password reset again. For several hours now I’ve been getting a system error and a message to try later. There is no support to contact for help. I even tried to set up a new account and the same thing happened. The brand new password I set up for the new account was rejected with a “reset password” message.

This is an incredibly demanding app. So, if you want to have any hope of it working, you have to disconnect your phone from any device other than your BMW. Even then, I randomly get my navigation connection dropped in the middle of a ride for no reason that I am able to discern. I am at the point of mounting a dedicated GPS device to the bike and skipping this altogether. This is not the type of performance I would expect from a company like BMW. I have used CarPlay in other vehicles that is much more reliable than this.

Was Great. I got my 750 GS 3 months ago. When I first installed this app, the day before I picked up my new bike, it worked great. I loved the fact I didn’t have to remember to turn it on. Now it doesn’t work at all. It’s been like this since June 19. I know this because it was my last recorded trip. I thought after the update it started working again but I was wrong. I have a few recorded trips after that but there not all there and the ones that are have no info. I guess I will have to delete it and loose all my info so I can reinstall it. Disappointing

Good app but difficult. On my first use, I put in an address about an hour away and connected to my SENA on the helmet. Everything great! Next trip was a 200 mile trip and I wanted to travel specific roads. Impossible to do on the phone within an hour and a half. Went to my computer for a big screen to set up route. Spent 3.5 hours trying to figure how to get a gpx conversion on the file so I could import it. I used google maps and I used my Mac maps. Gave up. Tried it again the next day after researching how to convert. 4 hours later, I was able to download a GPX file with the specific routes I wanted. Could not use my phone screen (it was in a cradle) when a had a route problem unless I pulled over and disconnected. What is needed is an easy way to build routes on the computer then import easily to the phone. Now I see why 2 of my friends who also have RTs have Garmins on their bikes.

After update the app won’t stay connected. This app has always been finicky to use but today as I’m taking a long trek across the west. It won’t even stay connected for 10 seconds. I’ve had the app since middle of last year and I have never been impressed with it on a $33 K1600 GTL motorcycle but now it won’t work at all. I’ve deleted and reinstalled and all the little tricks in the past that have helped do nothing to improve. Stay clear as I feel bamboozled by BMW Motorrad. Shame on you BMW releasing this app to the public before realty testing it out

What a mess…. BMW has made such a mess of this connectivity between your phone and the TFT display. My ‘21 R1250RT has all the current updates and I’m running the most current version of the Connectivity app. System only partially works if you pair both your phone and your headset to the TFT which is logical. But it took weeks to figure out that you need to connect your headset to the TFT first then start the Connected App. Then all apps running on your phone need to be closed with the BMW app left running on top, so to speak. (Example: if playing music through your headset, make the BMW Connected app lay on top of the music app) If a phone call comes in, the Connected app disconnects and navigation is lost. Only way to restore navigation is to stop, shut the bike off, close the Connected app and start over! I’ve ridden 4,000 miles with this f’d up system and question why BMW didn’t incorporate Apple’s Car play in this bike. It’s a complete mess and detracts tremendously from an otherwise great motorcycle.

Features stopped working. I bought a 2023 R 1250 GS in August 2023. I enjoyed using the BMW Connected app through my last ride of the year in November. The local speed limit displayed on the TFT, and 30 trips were recorded in detail. In December I upgraded from iPhone 13 to iPhone 15, and connected the new phone to the bike. Since resuming riding in February, the speed limit is not displayed and trips are not recorded. After reinstalling the Connected app and doing the full setup, some bike data is now updated in the app, but still no speed limit or trip recording. The speed limit square on the TFT only shows three dashes. I would like to restore full functionality.

Needs an fix since the last update. The app was always been a work in progress getting better every time. It works pretty good on my 22RR and new new 24 GSA, but since the last update Aug 2024, the fuel level and range doesn’t work anymore. It connects to the bikes no problem. The other data and info work great along with the rides. But the fuel and range seem to be broken the last month or so since the latest update. The fuel level doesn’t update at all. The range seems like its being miscalculated somehow.

Great App!. This app is super useful – a huge value add to my new BMW R1250R. I haven’t used the nav features extensively, only to plan a small trip, which worked well. Looking forward to putting it through its paces on a few longer journeys. Primarily, I use the app for tracking my daily riding stats. Having a log of each ride, that starts tracking without opening my phone, and gives details like miles/average speed is great. I have had one issue, when I upgraded my iPhone, I had to delete and re-download the app to get it to track rides as expected. To the dev team: Please consider doing an Apple Watch app that would show stats for the day. Also expanding the number of stats tracked would be awesome, for instance adding max lean angle, max DTC, and braking stats. Keep up the great work!

Not sure where the problem lies. The connected app records trips well with good information but there seems to be a communication issue with those of us who have the 6.5 inch screen. The connected screen doesn’t update as it should, is slow responding and many times stops responding. So my review doesn’t trash the app but I don’t know where the problem lies, is it the app to the screen or is the bike’s firmware the problem. I’d like to see this addressed by BMW and the app developers. As an example I just rode to another city, which was inputed into the app, the app was good for 5 miles then didn’t update for the next 20 miles. During which I had changed over 3 different roads. The mapping is useless.

It was working before 5.0 upgrade. It used to work well. Not the most sophisticated GPS app in the market, but did work. Your upgrade to version 5.0 renders the app useless. 1. Most of the time it just doesn’t work. The TFT display on the motorcycle flashes 0 miles to destination and I have to stop and close the app, so I can at least see some driving information like speed, on the display 2. When it makes believe it is working, I don’t see a detailed map. It tells me to download tons of unrelated maps from all around the world and when I manually pick only the relevant one - I see no details, and the route “selected” doesn’t make any sense. Need to learn the route before I go on my bike. Like in the old physical map days 3. Can’t understand how your upgrade messed up w/ existing data as I had the map working before! Never before did I see an upgrade that totally destroys the app data. Before users click the upgrade button, there should be a level of trust established between the user and the developer, knowing at least, that this upgrade wouldn’t impact the app functionality. Well, this trust was severely impacted. 4. Don’t believe this upgrade could have passed the modest QA test. Doesn’t make sense it did. So sorry I upgraded. Thought you’d improve rather that destroy the app. Very disappointed.

Needs a lot of work. I am trying not to repeat almost every other review, but it was refreshing to see I am not the only user experiencing frustration with the app. I have already submitted an email to Connected Support, but no resolution. I like the bike data and recording of rides, but beyond that the app is spotty at best. The disconnects are the biggest frustration, no reason or rhyme, just disconnects and then it’s time to pull over to get it going again. Sometimes the map just shuts down, but it still gives route guidance with arrows on the screen. I am trying to give BMW time to fix it, because I hate to have to add a real GPS on my 23 RT. Bike is flawless, app not at all. Please fix this or give the owners an alternate option that does work.

Disappointed.. When viewed systemically. I preferred the separate GPS and older display vs the app on my phone being reqd and the new TFT display. The display is beautiful, but i found the content on the display inferior to the older analog/digital blend content. Ex: i cannot skip to next song or radio station unless i change display mode on the display so audio takes up most of the screen, at which point I no longer have a tach being displayed. In the end, i mounted a Garmin GPS on my handlebar and direct connect my phone to my helmet audio to bypass the BMW app and display entirely. It’s just easier to oerate.

It might take you where you don’t want to. For the most part the app is a nice little tool instead of investing in a GPS. Just got back from a week out and really put the app to use and found it to be pretty good except for one big potential problem. Even though “Avoid Dirt Roads” was selected, it did end up taking us onto gravel and dirt roads between Blanding, UT and Durango, CO. My mate and I were thinking of a nice easy day, that turned into a 5+ hr ride to make 140 miles! In the end we did enjoy the ride, but be careful since you might end up getting more than you bargained for.

Late release broke the app 😢. Have been using the app with the BMW cradle for the last year and while there were some glitches and misses in usability it worked fine. Last major release completely broke the functionality and has remained broken for weeks now. The new maps are a complete mess - each time I open the list the size of the map changes. Once downloaded the map content does not show - it keeps showing the very low resolution world map. When looking at previous rides the app suggest to download the missing maps for that ride - and proceeds to suggest I need about 20 different countries across the globe to cover a short 10 Km trip. Also, after installation (tried reinstalling) the map selection list cannot be scrolled - you only see the last countries in the list. As it is the app is unusable. Hope you fix it soon and bring it back at least to what it was a few months ago.

Freezes TFT. This app is great in concept, although I still don’t understand why BMW did not put Apple CarPlay into their motorcycle TFTs. Instead, the interface is like technology from 15 years ago. On to the app...it will lose connection for no reason, which causes the display to read “recalculating.” Once this happens, the navigation never starts again, while causing the whole TFT to freeze. Alternatively, if you venture off the recommended route, the same thing happens. For the price tag of a 2018 R1200GSA along with the TFT, I expect more from BMW. Supporting documentation is lacking, if not non-existent, and the dealerships typically have no one with any expertise in the system. This is the second time the bike has gone back to the dealer with less than 1000 mi. BMW, you can do better than this!

German Technology?. Okay, the onboard data aspects are fun, like tracking lean angle, speed, etc., but come on. For months now the app causes speed limits to display in Km/h rather than MPH with no way to change that. Maps continuously fail and updates of the entire map catalog is necessary. No navigation to POI, and hey, when phone signal is lost, no navigation. And this app is a replacement for the BMW/Garmin Nav VI that I’ve had to replace four times due to screen “ghosting,” where it just starts deciding where it wants to go all on its own. Hey, BMW, my Harley had better technology. Do better.

Dangerous app. I have a brand new 2022 R1250RT and while I love the bike, this app is dangerous. I have an iPhone 12 Pro iOS 15.4.1 & Connected app version 4.1.0 The RT is running 012_008_040 Even IF you can get the app to connect to the bike, you can NOT count on it to stay connected. I changed my device to NEVER lock or time out. I gave the app EVERY permission that I could find (making it god like status on the phone). I followed all of the directions from BMW regarding the order of starting things up and making sure the app was the ONLY app running. And yet at a critical (and I mean critical) time in my ride, the app just disconnected and I lost all navigation. This caused me to made a wrong turn into the worst downtown traffic with NO idea which way to go and NO opportunity to pull over. I ended up riding an extra 30 minutes in stop and go traffic before I could safely pull over and retrieve my phone. In the end, I NEVER got the app to reconnect to the bike and just paired the phone straight to the helmet to get audio prompts to get back home. Now, I have a RAM mount for my phone and use my choice of navigation instead of even loading the app. Never thought I'd buy a brand new BMW motorcycle and still have to add a phone mount for the navigation. I completely agree with other users, BMW makes a great bike, but figure out a way to avoid the app if you want to stay safe.

Gets worse with every update. I first got this app when I got my S1000RR last April. At the time it worked most of the time, probably about 80 percent. With each update it’s gotten progressively worse though, and now it’s at the point where it’s basically useless. Nothing connects most of the time, sometimes it shows a connection on the dash but still nothing works and if by some miracle the nag or music player does decide to work, it certainly won’t be by the time you get a few minutes down the road. Pretty shameful if you ask me, hopefully they just fire these devs and hire someone competent to make this app going forward, as of now it’s just a waste of space on the phone. Would give negative stars if possible

App with a lot of potential. I am enjoying the app and use it every time I go on my BMW F850GSA. It tracks all my routes, captures pictures and I can review the stats after each ride (speed, lean angle, acceleration etc). It would be great to see weekly/monthly/annual stats as well in terms of distance travelled, average speed, count number of curves etc. This is not available at this point. Also, for real time directions I always switch to other apps on my phone (Waze, google maps) - the landscape mode of this app needs to be improved to show distance to next turn, current speed, speed cameras etc. I do like the fact that I can design the track with many points /cities to customize my trip (not possible on Waze or Googlemaps on iPhone)

Please add sync between devices - Missed opportunity. Dear developers, you have all the main aspects of this app right, but why are the rides and telemetry data not synching between devices using the same account!!!! A huge missed opportunity. I have an iPhone and a Samsung that I swap between in different rides and it just frustrating not to have everything that is already recorder sync between the 2. Beside the missed opportunity of viewing the same data on a larger screen like the iPad. Seems easy enough to implement using any of the cloud solutions that we are already members of. A shared folder on onedrive, Dropbox…. Etc will make this app exponentially more useful and user friendly.

Still trash. Years and multiple versions of both this app and the TFT firmware and it’s still an unreliable hot mess- especially on iPhones. It’s so bad there isn’t even a pattern to the failure. One of the worst displays of proprietary engineering arrogance I’ve ever experienced. BMW knows it too- not only do they continually fail to fulfill the promises made on this architecture- they actually think customers should have to pay for their firmware updates. It’s not at all a stretch to call these failures a distraction/ safety hazard. Where are the class action lawyers? If you can sue car companies because customers are too stupid to install floor mats properly you should be able to sue over this ..

Fix app’s location sharing integration. New comments: iPhone allows setting location sharing while app is running. Why does this app need “always” location sharing? Please fix your software. I see two years of complaints about connectivity and app problems that aren’t getting fixed. BMW, do you even have software developers any more? Do they work on this app? If so, it doesn’t seem to be making the app better. Old comments: Buying the Navigator VI was the most expensive purchasing mistake I’ve ever made. Features that are touted as selling points just don’t work or only work less than 30% of the time. I’m looking at you Tracker App. The Connected app regularly loses connection with the motorcycle so you only get partial tracks of rides and it only works if you give “always” permissions for tracking. What a steaming pile this whole integration of technology has become. I would be totally embarrassed if I was a developer that worked on these products. Now BMW is partnering with Rever offering a three month premium trial. So, BMW is giving up, breaking their commitment to their customers, and making customers pay for it. Apple won’t publish the things I want to say about this betrayal by BMW but I can say that this is not the way to retain brand loyalty.

Pretty good, when it works. My rating would be higher if the developers didn’t break some functionality through updates every few months. Last time user login functionality was broken, now speed limit information is broken, we’ll see what’s next. When it is working, the app might be the best in the industry though. Stars also docked for transferring telemetry data via BLE to display in the app, but blocking any mechanism to export that data. It’d be a nice gesture for BMW Motorrad to facilitate export of that data, say, as a good faith gesture after breaking features. Update: Speed limit info is fixed! But now map visualization on route recording is broken. Other things that are broken: oil level is never displayed in motorcycle information; TPMS values are different across the display on the TFT and the app (by >1psi, they never match under any circumstances); recorded routes are titled with lat/long coordinates rather than the destination address now; probably some other stuff I haven’t noticed yet since it’s impossible to keep track of what’s working and what’s broken with each update cycle.

5.1.0. DO YOU REALLY VALUE FEEDBACK BMW? Show us!!! Latest 5.1.0 has database issues with the USA maps. Essentially, all the speed data has been converted to KPH. This means in the white square on the dash (which shows the speed limit in MPH of the road) now still shows a square in the USA, but the data shown is the numerical value of KPH. Past review: Just as bad as the old version and no description of the updates and fixes. No landscape mode unless you buy the overpriced connected ride cradle. Often won’t work with USA addresses. BMW will respond to this and say send us more info to a particular email address and then nothing… no response or acknowledgment of my efforts. Given what I paid for my BMW motorcycle, I expected a lot more from them.

Cradle. It’s very nice to be able to control the app from the BMW wheel, but the wireless charging is horrible. It will charge for a few seconds and then disconnect. Cannot keep phone fully charged

Why Can’t We have Apple CARPLAY?. This app is clumsy, slow, and connects poorly. Missing key features. Install CarPlay and build a telemetry screen app for that instead! It’s the industry standard and easiest to use.

Constant struggle. When (if) it works, it is usable but 80% of the time it doesn’t connect. The phone (iPhone 12 pro) needs to be reconnected as a new phone multiple times. Loved it for a year but with the latest update it became a constant struggle.

Promising app but cannot replace the Garmin GPS (incomplete maps). My BMW is a 2022 GSA and I use it with the BMW cradle- I recommend PROS : 1 - the abvious- phone interface - itis easy, quicker to react, to plan that the GPS 2 - when planning your trip you can add as many waypoints as you want - :) 3 - you can choose what level of corners with 3 different levels to choose ( min to max) CONS: 1-major CONS for me personally -still a lack of roads availability in my areas - Quebec Canada- need improvement - I use Google when BMW Connected is lost :) 2- when zooming/de zooming- we lose the small roads information too soon - the app should keep the roads on more de zoom layers 3- My garmin GPS automatically recommended gaz stations in my areas when the low fuel light was on - in my opinion, this is a great option that the BMW connected should have ! Great feature when on long trip :)

Not intuitive. The app has potential as it looks good, collects a lot of vehicle data, but fails to deliver on navigation. The app is not intuitive. When importing a route there are no tools to rename a waypoint or rename a favourite after it is saved. A favourite ends up with some non descriptive name but there doesn’t appear to be able to change it. Nor are there any help options.

GPS. Bonjour j’ai une gs1250 2019 modèle aventures une chance que c’est aventure parce que le gps est toujours gelé je ne peut pas me fier aux données Merci

Still doesn’t work right. Displays the front wheel pressure as the rear and - - for the front. Started doing this on previous versions also. Had to send review with at least one star or wouldn’t post.

Connection Stability……. When it works it’s great but I must admit that it’s more not working than working. I’m referring to the connection of the TFT with my phone. I’ve got and iPhone 13 and a 2022 GSA and ride with my phone in my exterior chest pocket. Not sure why it continuously disconnects but I sure wish there was a fix because when you’re connected it’s pretty awesome!!!

Please. Add police like waze or upgrade to apple play

Connecting problem. Hi I have a bmw active hybrid e-bike, i cant connect my bike to app, i turned on bluetooth on bile display, but nothing show in my iphone bluetooth list, please help me to connect Thanks

Not what I expected from BMW. I’ve had several instances where the app freezes while calculating a route, this is a common occurrence if the route is a couple hundred kilometres in length. Also I sometimes lose the audio even though my TFT displays the headset is connected. I’m not using a BMW Motorrad headset but another well known and reliable brand. Apparently BMW offers no support for other brands nor guaranteeing compatibility. I have my local maps downloaded so to eliminate cellular data usage. But the app still consumes large amount of data. For what I don’t know. The app will only work if you allow location services to be always ON. it will not work if you have your settings to allow location services only when using the app. I have an iPhone 7 and running the latest OS They have been promising a major update for the end of July. We are entering the 2nd week of August and no update yet. Great idea for an app just not very solid at this time

Getting worse by time. Keep losing connection w the bike after riding all day only half day data shows plus no music playing

Absolute junk. Maps won’t download, very hard to work with, a total waste of time,, Worst system I’ve tried to use,,

Not too bad. Previous review: The app thinks my motorcycle is somewhere I left 3 days ago, it’s just stuck there! It also fails to recognize that the bike IS connected, it keeps saying “connect motorcycle“ on the maps tab, even though the dash shows that it is paired and connected, and iphone Bluetooth shows that the bike is connected. Navigation worked only the first time I paired and connected it, never again. It is now useless. New review: The issue above seems to have resolved itself, maybe it’s a platform issue, so I’m reconsidering my review, haven’t had any issues with it for some time now, maybe one should expect such glitches.

Needs polishing. Somehow disappointed by the lack of bike’s telemetric data displayed. Searching for address is too much sensitive to syntax. Really annoyed by numerous crashes when taking picture while recording a trip. Moreover, when the connection is still apparently active (the navigation bar is lit on the tft), trying to locate POIs indefinitely shows « refreshing » without actually succeeding to show anything. It also seems to be power hungry. IPhone X, iOS 12.3. Besides, I hate bluetooth technology. This disconnects too frequently when you move, get off your bike or when the wind blows (no kidding).

Navigation Disconnects. Everything seemed to work fine, worked on a short ride. Today went out all day, would start to work, then on its own , the navigation would disconnect but the music still worked. Did that 5 times , really frustrating imagine if I had to lead and know where I was going that would have been chaotic. Would stop set yet destination, would work for 5 mins then disconnect, NO NAVIGATION, please connect the BMW connect app , what??? I was connected now I’m riding my bike I can’t open my iPhone 13. Riding 2022 BMW K1600B Grand America. I’m hoping for a fix soon, I bought this for the technology, my Harley doesn’t have any navigation, which is why I waited for BMW to change to the new 10.25” TFT display. Very disappointed

Great Feature.. I REALLY like this application. I’m currently riding with my phone in my jacket. The App (and my music) are running on the phone and all are controlled via the TFT / Wonder Wheel.

Useless. What the hell BMW? Did anyone even test this before the release? I can’t even find a single address.

App continuously disconnects.. I use the connected app mainly to display the speed limit on the tft screen. It will work for the first 10 to 20 mins then it will randomly disconnect. Tried everything to make it work. So frustrating.

Constant iPhone TFT disconnects. I started using the Connected app, 12 months ago, when I purchased my 2022 R1250RT. I started having iPhone/TFT disconnects immediately. I keep the motorcycle’s firmware updated along with Connected revisions. I should have realized something was wrong a long time ago. When you want to get the Connected app to display on your TFT you have to touch a Google cast icon. Anyhow the best rides I have is when the BMW Connected app is off.

Tired of disconnections. Really wish you guys would stabilize this app. Went on a 265 mile ride today with an imported route and it disconnected 5-6 times and at one point logged me out of the app…while riding. I really like the system, but it’s hard to fully embrace when it cannot be relied on to stay functional during an entire ride.

Crappy App. I’ve been trying to log in for days and it sends me through a continuous loop of changing password requirement. Called customer service and sent to several people again with no help whatsoever. I expect more out of BMW. To say I am frustrated and dissatisfied is a huge understatement.

Could be better. This app has a lot of potential but it it could be better. My issue is with the navigation. Waze and Google maps are definitely better by far but do not interface with the TFT which is I tried this app. I do like the information about the bike but the navigation portion of the app is way behind the times.

C’mon you guys-make this work. This app has crashed EVERY time ie gone for a ride. I just went a beauty too, that I’ll probably never ride again, and I have no ride data. These machines are highly designed and every thought is out into rider enjoyment. The App, however, feels like the EXACT opposite. I have hundreds of apps I use daily and they don’t crash like this one does. C’mon BMW-you’re better than this.

Broke after a couple months. When I first started using it, the app worked flawlessly. But a couple months in it stopped consistently updating my rides and the mileage/fuel level, even though the TFT shows the phone connected every time I ride.

Slick, but directions get stuck on a F900XR. I had such high hopes for this app. It looks great at first glance but the critical navigation function doesn’t work. I’m using it paired with a 2020 F900XR that has a TFT display. When I start a route, the first turn shows up on the display, but stays stuck. The second turn never come up, ever. I have to manually cancel the trip.

App doesn’t connect. I followed the instructions in the App and a bluetooth connection to my phone is shown on the lower right of the TFT display but the app itself doesn’t connect. Have tried to reinstall / connect multiple times but it doesn’t work. EXTREMELY frustrating as the Navigation/Media function on the TFT don’t work without the app connection :( BMW please fix this as several users seem to have the exact same issue !

Best app for any motorcycle. I have used many apps when riding this one is worth buying a BMW for not that you need reason.

Speed Limit indicates KPH instead of MPH after update. I have an iPhone 15 pro max and a CE 04 and since yesterdays update the speed limit indicates KPH instead of MPH - everything else reads in MPH and all the settings are for MPH. Music and phone calls are fine. The iOS software is 17.1.2 and the CE 04 has been recently serviced so should have the latest software on it from the dealer but I don’t know what the version is.

Oh why can’t it do its job 🤦‍♂️. Building a reliable and fun motorcycle is difficult. Implementing advanced safety electronics is difficult. Creating an app to reliably record a course is NOT difficult, and yet the team working for BMW on this app does not seem to be able to do its job. I used to be able to trust this app to record my trips but it’s no longer the case as it keeps interrupting the recording an missing big chunks (up to an hour) of my trips. The really 😳🧐🤨 thing is that the app was actually in foreground all the time. Major disappointment

It’s just decent. The app is okay, but why does the location have to always be on? I would rather it be like every other nav app and location only when used. It’s also finicky trying to connect phone to screen then headset, I lose some functionality like Siri.

Suggestion…. Continue making your own bikes, but outsource your App Development to those that are actually good at it! As an owner of two 2023 models (R1250GSA & CE-04), one R1200C-I, and one R1200C Montauk, I’m in love with my bikes. But I honestly enjoy riding my older R1200Cs just because I don’t have to deal with the Motorrad Connected App, and that’s a shame. Please fix the “Volume Control Not Working” Issue, and App’s “continued connecting to my Bluetooth when my CE 04 is charging, and dropping my Bluetooth connection to my house speakers”. It’s very very annoying!

tons of potential. really like it, but it’s pretty spare in its feature set. should have some basic media controls within the app (skip tracks, volume up or down with wheel). the map is clean, but it could have more features and route planning options. it’s a good start, but you will quickly learn that other apps offer more. if bmw wants this to be essential to its riders, than make it so you don’t want or need to leave the app to perform basic functions.

Good but need improvement. Hi, First of, I am glad this app exist. It is useful and I love having my phone connected to the bike this way. The only thing I have against this app is 1) the app and the bike often disconnect and I must restart both in order for them to talk again. Music/phone still works but the app won't talk to the bike for GPS purpose. It is unfortunate as I can't rely on the app GPS. 2) It would also be nice if it could also show more data and include radars for exemple. Not asking for something as complete as waze but just a bit more data. Other than that I think it's a pretty good tool. Please fix the connectivity issue. Thanks

New update. Since the new update, the app seems to drop Bluetooth more frequently with my motorcycles than before. I am experiencing this on my 750GS and my 1150 GSA on an iPhone 13 Pro Max and an iPhone 15 Pro. Bluetooth with the app is still buggy.

Update 5.0 issues. This last update does not allow the app to connect to the TFT anymore even after trying to turn it on and off in its settings. Even the speed limit info on the regular TFT display has disappeared since I did this last update. Otherwise the app performance in the cradle seems more accurate without the icon wandering away from the route.

Won’t work right. When I turn the app on it seems to shrink on the phone screen and the display in the TFT is micro size. Reached out to Motorrad and all I got is an automated response. There doesn’t seem to be any humans working in Germany that are able to help. It’s been almost 2 weeks. Is any one else having this issue and can help with possibly a setting or something on my Apple 15?

Problems. This app has issues that have not been addressed and are widely known: 1- Disconnects at times. Usually 1x an hour. 2- It doesn’t work well with a Cardo. That connection needs to be vastly improved! 3- It is far more difficult to use this app in comparison w just conveying Cardo to our iPhone. This app should be better. *Many many riders speak about this issue. Almost everyone reverts to disconnecting the app because of it. Do you know this??

Connection. So when Iphone is connected via Bluetooth, this app still won’t connect all the time. I’d say 30% it connects after messing around with it. The bike sees the phone and connects great, it just the app....for navigation.... it will not find the bike at all. Have got it to work once and it is super! Just trying to help. BMW... unbelievable bikes. When I did get the nav(connect) to work.. it did work great. Any assistance would be appreciated by many.

App won’t connect to new $1,000 ConnectedRide Navigator. Even after talking to BMW dealer and BMW help desk, the BMW-built Connected Ride Navigator cannot connect to the app. My phone is paired to ConnectedRide Navigator via Bluetooth. I have the current versions of iOS and Navigator software. But the app won’t open offering only two choices: Connect Motorcycle or Connect (the one I need since 2016 R1200GS can’t connect to app directly). I have removed pairing and started over and it doesn’t work to activate the app. Without connection the Navigator is a bricked device.

It’s working🫶🏽. Love this app specially made for riders. Been riding for a long time and finally got an upgrade. Went electric and got me a bmw CE 04. Man this scooter is more than a scooter, zoom better than my f800s, fast on the line and soo much more comfortable. The app makes the functionality of the bike better. Thanks BMW Motorrad!

Horrible User Experience. I don’t know who designed this app but it’s a total mess. As a new user there’s a gross lack of inferences, completing user journeys is confusing for even simple tasks. This needs to be completely thrown away and rebuilt by a company who knows good user experience.

Easy to use. The app gives you all the information you need to study your ride style. It’s very helpful with the motorcycle interface.

Location tracking non GDPR compliant. I would give give this app a better rating if it did not require me to be tracked all the time in order for it to work. To use the app, one must select location data “always on”, rather than “only while using the app” or “ask me next time.” The I editable result is I forget to turn off location leaching after my ride and now BMW knows where I go without my motorcycle. There is no good or lawful reason to collect this data, other than to falsely suggest I consented to this type of monitoring. Get it together BMW. Location data is only necessary when using the app.

Fails after 5 mins. Each time it’s used. New k1600gt 3022 and a new iPhone. This app can not maintain a link. So it will drop the navigation app. You then have to stop and reconnect wifi and Bluetooth. U can set up an iPhone automation which helps but does not stop I it failing every few miles. Ie. this app has a serious bug that makes it both non useful and dangerous. No work around known. Waiting for a recall. Aug 2022.

Great app except for…... Just bought a new R 1250 RT and downloaded the app. I find that the nav integration works well, despite some quirks. One annoying bug: despite having my preferences set to use mph, the current speed limit displays in kph. Hopefully the issue will be addressed in an upcoming release.

BMW Farmboy. Ap is still very bad. I’ve used it now for three years hoping the developers would listen and make this potentially awesome ap usable. Instead of automatically connecting when your motorcycle is started and using your location at that point they continue to add “make life a ride” features when it still works so poorly that I no longer will use it. What will it take to get someone to listen and fix this ap?

Speed limits are wrong, why??. In my local area southwest of Denver, speed limits are consistently wrong, for example, showing 65 mph on rural and residential roads. My NAV VI usually shows correct speeds. Why don’t both units share the same speed limit database? Also, I am having connectivity issues about 20% of rides where the app does not “connect” even though the TFT connects with both phone, helmet and NAV VI and all TFT functions (navigation, phone and music) are available and working.

Used to work. It was working so well last season. It may have missed a couple of rides, but overall recorded all of them. The bike went into hibernation for 5 months and now the app won’t record any of my rides. I never had to leave the app running for it to record. It’s also displaying the incorrect fuel percentage.

Maps. Google maps is an awful lot better with much more complete information

Disappointed it can’t navigate off-road tracks. Having an amazing off-road bike in the 1250 GS it would be great if the CR app could navigate GPX files and off-road tracks. I can import them, they show on the map, but as soon as you click the button to navigate, it errors out. I’m assuming it’s because the system is running on TomTom software. Is an update coming to allow for off-road navigation or will BMW riders have to find Garmin GPS systems???

It’s ok on my 2022 R1250 GS. For those trying to change from km to miles and liters to gallons, press the 3 dots on the lower right, select app settings, click to select miles and gallons. The app is nice for bike info like fuel level and lean angle and trip recording. But I’m not sold on the navigation; the colors chosen make it hard to read. I prefer Google maps or Waze.

Good ideas, poor execution. Compared to the BMW Connected car app the Motorrad offering is embarrassing. The map database is woefully out of date and lacking in detail (surprise TomTom isn’t great). Frequently misses whole segments of rides. Speed limit info fluctuates from wrong to disconnected. I’ve had to completely reinstall the app once because it lost syncs and would never reconnect to the bike. Some of this may be attributed to the garbage reception of the TFT, but who knows.

Complete Let Down. The K1600B is the best bike I think I’ve ever owned. The display is beautifully wasted with the navigation integration. I’ve got it to connect twice. It should not be this difficult. If it worked as advertised, it would be a great system, however, it’s is basically useless and borderline dangerous.

It tries…. The GPS confuses left and right, doesn’t show a road just next turn navigation, gets road names confused, and doesn’t have many addresses 😅 you learnt he roads real well when you got lost. I still use Google maps to try and pair addresses and directions. The Bluetooth on the 2021 S1000RR is weak. If your phone is in your pocket and you out your hand on it, it will lose connection. Music… works well actually but no volume control. Siri and Google commands stop working when headsets are connected…. This is just a marketing ploy honestly… they incorporated gps, music and phone into the bikes but used cheap components and didn’t put effort into the software development. I’m an expert in the field

Totally worth it. Great app so far, the built in navigation makes riding a pleasure and works well. I like being able to review my ride data , it’s a really cool feature!

Connections. After a few months of no use, it seems like the app needs to go through a complete reconnection cycle.

2020 F750gs connectivity issues. Love the app but I have never experienced it working! I’ve been able to connect to the motorbike 2x but once I turn it off it never reestablishes the connection. Am I doing something wrong? Does the TFT display knly support so many Bluetooth connections? Hoping for a developer response please. App looks really cool and I want to use it!

Stay logged in. Hey developers, please let us stay logged in on the app. Nothing worse than trying to activate your smart map mode on your rt to find out the app logged me out again and I can’t do anything about it until I pull over. It’s pretty annoying and keeps occuring. Thanks

New update ruined the app. This app has been working great for years. The recent update has many problems. 1. Speed on the TFT is always displayed in KPH regardless of whether you check miles or kilometers in the settings. 2. Doesn’t connect and drops connection to the bike, never had this problem before. 3. No longer records rides. It will look like it’s recording while riding but the ride will not be there when I get home.

Not good.. This app is a hot mess. I am not sure how BMW finds makes it so unreliable and clunky. Just support CarPlay like Honda or Indian. This app never works right, can’t keep a connection because it uses a super clunky workaround for connectivity to the bike. It’s also an annoying pain of a process to start up and connect to the bike every time - then it will just fail over and over during the ride. It’s maps are no better than any one of a dozen GPS sources. I much prefer the app “Scenic”. This app has been one of the biggest disappointments of my new BMW motorcycle.

5.3.1 update issues. Samsung S21 5G. After a Samsung update, the map shows up on both the phone and TFT at normal size. After a disconnect or power off, the map reappears small to include the app on the phone. It’s rendered the maps useless because it’s so small. I was hoping the last update would fix this but nope. Please get your app developers up to speed. I can’t be the only one having this issue

So much potential.. More and more people are riding bikes and scooters than before. BMW really needs to push this app aggressively forward, especially with the NAV system and connectivity/syncing issues. The maps could be soooo much better. It’s a great launchpad. BMW just needs to make it fly.

Want to like. The navigation took me to the wrong place twice in one ride. I love how it integrates with my TFT screen on my R18 TC but I want it to be more like Google maps where I can click and drag and change my route around easily on my phone. Once it finds a route there really isn’t much changing or adjusting the route. I wish that I could just use Apple Car Play on my bike.

Does not recognize freeways. I just downloaded the app after picking up my new C400x. I didn’t want to take the freeway and chose avoid freeways after entering the destination. However, the directions wanted to take me on the freeway. I even deselected shortest route to see whether that helped. It didn’t. After 3 tries, I turned on Google maps on my IPhone and just used that to get home. Really disappointing experience.

Will not download maps!. I have tried everything to download maps to this app. I am using an iPhone 13 pro max. Deleted and reinstalled it. Every time I try to download a map I get: “Something went wrong. Please try again.” I have plenty of memory on my phone, excellent Wi-Fi signal. I can’t find one thing on this issue on the internet. I’m extremely frustrated! I have run out of ideas to successfully download the maps. Help!!!

A good start, but.... To slow in an iPhone 7... When you are with wired headphones under the helmet, it sometimes changes the audio to the motorcycle and you loose the call, or the music... Sometimes it is hard to input address in roads when you have to enter in km... It is very har to reset values when driving. The old system, pressing the keys was better...

Rotation to landscape mode not working. Orientation stuck in portrait mode. Rotation to landscape view not working, no matter how set in map settings - auto, lock in landscape - not working, only portrait - on older iPhone 8. Seems to be working ok on newer iPhone model.

Great concept, clunky implementation. Great in principle, but a couple issues have driven me back to using Google Maps - the inability to show turn by turn directions is inexcusable - the app randomly disconnects and loses map view and turn-by- turn freezes My dealer told me I would have something similar to Apple Car Play. This is a bad joke compared to that!

Awesome App but with bugs.. Love the idea and proposed features, sadly it is buggy. Motorcycle = CE 04, Phone = iPhone 14 Pro, Helmet = Schuberth M1 Pro. When using Apple Music ca not control volume. When projecting map, it randomly stops working. Hot they fix this issues soon.
