Install now! Amazing!. Great app for memorizing anything. I highly recommend getting this app. So I have a few suggestions that don’t really make the main part of the app better(memorizing things). So it would be cool if there was like a web search bar within the app too get a cool background photo for the thing your memorizing which would make it a whole lot more interesting. And maybe different fonts for words (at least like bold underlined and italicized words). This app is great! Thank you so much for making this app. I look forward to future updates. Powerful simplicity. This app gives you functionality and ease with some great adjustability. I have the premium version for my kids schooling and for my love of poetry and Shakespeare. Great Application. I needed an application to help me with memorizing Bible verses. This application covers more of the verse the more you learn it. I definitely would recommend Memy for speeches, studying for school, learning lines, or remembering names. Great application. I purchased the lifetime shortly after trying out the application. No complaints. This is not one of those apps where the free stuff is worthless. Wonderful memory tool that uses the brains ability to move info from the short term memory to the long term memory via repetition. 10/10 can recommend.

Extremely useful!. This is so useful. The free version allows you to remove all but the first letter of each word of a line, starting at the end of each line. Having practiced memorization for years, I already know this is a very effective method - the app allowed me to effortlessly employ it. I love the ability to paste in documents. Just make sure that each “line” has a real line break, and it pastes into the app perfectly. Excellent tool!

Would have left 0 stars if I could. I got this app for the purpose of memorizing many different scrips are needed for my new job. I entered the text for three or four different scrips to memorize. In order to add more I needed to upgrade the app to a subscription. I upgraded and paid the subscription fee. I attempted to add more text however when I clicked the add text button I was prompted that I needed to purchase a subscription. I assumed since I was in the trial. It had not updated I waited a few days and log back inAnd the text that I had already added had disappeared. However I was still charged for that subscription.

Only allows two items to be memorized. The free version blackout option is helpful, but as other reviews have mentioned, it only allows you to have two items to work on before it won’t let you add more items without upgrading to premium (which is way pricier than anyone rational would willingly pay for an app of this quality). I am not satisfied. I am sure there are similar apps out there with similar or better features for free. Mediocre at best.

Good but a little improvements. Hi I’m Juliana a young actor who downloaded the app to help me out with memorization so when I first got the app in order to put a pdf of the script I had to pay 10 a month so no if you read this I’ll still use the app I just wish that you could benefit for the young actors

I’m over the moon! It works!. I have a hard time memorizing anything, so I gave this a test with a Philip Larkin poem, This Be The Verse, and in 5 minutes I could recite it from memory. 🤯😱🤪🤩 This is the most useful app I’ve encountered so I immediately bought a lifetime from Premium, for $40, This is a gift to myself that will definitely enhance my enjoyment of poetry any song lyrics. Thank you to the developer, this is a great app! 🙌🙌🙌

My favorite tool for learning a new script. As a professional motivational entertainer I constantly create new custom messages for my clients. Every time I have a new message and a new script, I always use this app. I first got it when it was called Memy. If you need to memorize something, this is the app for you. 100% worth the lifetime access that I paid for.

Amazing!. Kevin is not only a genius, he is so kind! I didn’t know him before this app and when I was having some problems (user error, not app related), he responded quickly and was so generous with his time and help. I not have a great app to help me either some really important presentations coming up and can’t thank Kevin and his creation of this app enough!

What a thrill!. At almost 77, more and more often I have lost the word, or the name, I knew I knew. The idea that I could memorize poems from a life-long favorite poet seemed far-fetched. This app works! It’s easy and effective- even fun to use- because the results are amazing. It’s good to feel in control of my memory again- thanks!

I can do this!. I didn’t know if I could memorize the huge scripts I need for work. MemoCoach is the app that is making it possible. I love the feature where I can quickly switch back and forth between the hidden and unhidden script to refresh my memory. I went for the lifetime subscription and I feel it was worth the purchase.

New But Looks Good. I haven’t tried this long but I’ve enjoyed practicing the poem, the learning style seems very effective and the creator Kevin clearly offers effective customer service, with a detailed description you can read about how to memorize as soon as you join the app. Right now I’m using the free version and look forward to seeing what all I can do with the texts I want to memorize.

The best app for memorizing text.. Updated one yr later: still the best. This app is well designed, easy to use, and so helpful. I care for my two grandsons (ages 5 and 7 years) and Zoom each week with my two granddaughters (same ages). Every once in a while, I try to learn parts of their favorite songs. However, I mostly use the Memy app to memorize poems and selections from books, again, mostly to entertain the grandchildren. Although my intentions are good, I probably memorize no more than one or two a month. The older grandson was interested yesterday in memorizing a poem, "Herbert Glerbett" by Jack Prelutsky, and I thought I would show him your app. The Memy app is a great way to memorize. If I were a student, I would find it invaluable. If you try it out, you will see how you adjust it so that you only have to remember a few words, and then gradually you learn more and more of the text/script/lyrics until you have memorized it all. I also like the name "Memy" since it reminds me of meme. Customer support is great.

GREAT HELP!. This is a wonderful way to memorize my Bible verses! I find I can complete longer passages without fear of having left a section out. I also love that you can begin at any point and build your way to complete memorization without having to write it repeatedly—and then access it quickly. I upgraded to lifetime membership because it was so worth it! Great App!

Great Demonstration and Awesome to use 👍. It is super easy to use and it even has a practice text that is the instructions. It clearly states what you do and how to do it. Even if you delete that text, you can get it back in case you forgot or are showing someone a practice text. I love this app and it helps me learn all of my lines really quick. Awesome idea, great developer.

This Is Too Easy. I just copied a column from a Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet to the clipboard, then pasted the contents into a new document in Memy. Memy quickly accepted the text contents of more than a thousand cells, treating each cell’s contents as a paragraph. The controls are easy to understand, and the app responds sharply even on my iPhone SE. I’ve begun memorizing, and everything seems too easy.

Thought it wasn’t possible.... ...that I could memorize prayers that I struggled to find the time to focus on them. This app made it possible. One of my daughters would write prayers on a white board and then gradually erase the words, but this app is greater because you can have the words come back.

Memy!!. I just got Memy yesterday and I already love it! I love that you can type in your own stuff; since I write silly little books, I also love the feature that you can black out some words, rather than just keep practicing the same exact thing. going along with that, I love how you can control how much you black out, do a few words, a few more, until you finally memorize the whole thing! Thank you, Memy; for the amazing service and providing me with free practice!!

Great for memorizing lines!. I started using this app to memorize my lines for shows I’m in, and I could not be happier with the speed and efficiency this app helps me achieve when using it to memorize. Super amazing. Im using this app to memorize lines for a show that i have only two weeks to practice for. Its helping a lot and i already have most of my scenes memorized after only 3 days! This app is so useful for memorizing quickly even without the premium functions.

This is fast!. I am dyslexic and have a very difficult time reading and understanding what I am reading, and with that, memorizing anything is very time consuming. As an up and coming actor, this has made it so much easier to read and memorize!

Excellent app. This app is perfect in that it does exactly what you want it to do and nothing you don’t. A lot of apps start out great and then get ruined by the addition of superfluous “features” that diminish the original intent. Sometimes a tool is perfect the way it is and this is a great example of that.

Good Core Features; Poor Usability. If this was a $2 one-time purchase, I’d rate it more highly for its core features. For a subscription app, even now, usability is just passable. Edits to an existing title are not reflected in the main list until you quit and restart the app. There are no magic keyboard shortcuts (space bar to toggle covered words or lines would be nice for instance); no swipe to delete; no automatic cloud sync and uncovered text in line-by-line mode does not persist after the app session is cleared from memory. The use of white pop-ups is clunky.

Very helpful. VERY HELPFUL WITH MEMORIZING and great user interface…. A small glitch when uploading my pdf.s after the 1st one, where I have to manually paste the body text in which is fine for me because the option to edit and other options that allow you to manipulate the text is helpful in getting the end result. Thank you - great useful app !

Awesome app, Here’s a few suggestions. First off let me say this is the best app I’ve ever used for memorizing and I use it every day. If someone’s looking for an organized productive app to memorize lines this is the absolute go to. The recommendations I would say are to 2; first the ability to move your folders around with sub folders. The other would be being able to fit an extremely long script into one text without it running out of space. This app is already amazing and with that it wouldn’t even compare to any other apps

Fantastic product. Worth the price.. If you are a memorizer of scripts, Scripture, poems, etc, this tool is fantastic. And the customer service is second to none. I received a personal email from the developer to let me know the latest version was out and he had fixed some issues I pointed earlier. Just wow. Awesome product.

Genius. Gives you a strong method of how to memorize lines, you don’t get much content/tools like this as an app in the App Store so if your looking for a way to progress memorizing lines I definitely recommend this app !

Review. This app is a good tool to get you where you want to be regarding memorization. His price points for the paid version are entirely out of line, actually laughable, but for most everyone the free version is just fine. If u want a memory tool, this is very good.

THIS IS THE BEST APP I HAVE ON MY PHONE. I can’t believe that this app keeps getting better and better and better!!! Kevin incorporates the excellent suggestions from users in his updates (and gives them credit), and there are now 7 more tools to use in memorizing! I have gotten quite a bit faster at my memorization because of some of these! I am thinking particularly of the option where you can see just the first letter of the words—first just with the first word in each and next with the second word in each paragraph—it is genius! I was trying to use this method on my own using my fingers and an index card while on my morning walk, and then I opened the update and there it was in memo coach! SO MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE AND quicker to memorize. And I love the tips on how to memorize. This is the best app I have on my phone and iPad.

This is great just a few problems. I absolutely LOVE this app. I had to memorize the preamble and a whole song about the American Revolution for U.S. History and OMG this app helped me so much. I made more progress in one week than I did in one year with this app. Just so you know I totally passed my test!!! Okay now to the not so great things. Almost everything you have to get premium to use. I didn’t get premium but even so this app helped me a lot. There is only one option for non-premium users and that is hide words except the first letter. It still works great but I just wish that there were more options for people on a budget who don’t want to buy premium. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone looking for a quick way to memorize their notes. I have even recommended this app to some of my friends. They love it just as much as I do! Anyway just trust me get this app, but be warned you only have one option (that still works great) for non-premium users.

More limited than I expected. I was satisfied with the basic functionality—until I realized that the one text I’d put in was the only one I was going to be allowed on the free version. Are you kidding me? Now when I try to add, I only get the prompt for the pricey premium version. I even deleted the tutorial, assuming that without it, I could at least have two texts to work with (besides preloaded poem.) Nope. I tried deleting and replacing my one text. That worked but still leaves me disappointed. By the way, I think a limit of, say, five texts is fair for a free version.

Great app!!. I’m a young actress finding it difficult to sometimes memorize multiple paragraphs at a time and this app really helped!! I went from only being able to memorize 6 or 7 sentences to now being able to remember 15! That’s almost double and learning was so easy thanks to this app! I would definitely recommend to anyone needed to memorize lines or speeches!

So far it’s good!. Jus discovered MemoCoach a couple days ago! I appreciate the use of this app in helping me memorize acting lines. It could be a little bit more intuitive and user-friendly for this purpose, but it’s still very helpful and appreciated! I like the option to upload the script directly into the program, and click on my lines to highlight them, as well as the various choices of difficulty.

Great app. This app is simple in its presentation of memorization tools. The tools are right there, easy to see and easy to begin using with a text that you’re trying to memorize. It’s an intuitive and snappy app that works well and has a lot to offer— more than one would expect— with a really pleasant implementation. When something is designed elegantly like this app and also includes excellent functionality, there isn’t really much more to be left wanting. 5 stars, highly recommend.

Perfect!. This app is everything I’ve been looking for to keep track of all the verses I’m memorizing. I’ve tried a couple apps that were specifically for that, and in my opinion this is better. Love it! If you’re ever thinking about features to add, maybe be able to select which texts you would like to have to app cycle through and bring up a few each day for review. It would help you keep it memorized without needing to scrolling down through each individual one. Thank you!

Great for Classical Conversations Students!. As homeschoolers using the Classical Conversations program there is a big emphasis on developing the memory. This app has been a huge help for my son in memorizing 30 lines of Shakespeare every few weeks! I only wish we had found it earlier!

This memorizing tool is great!. Memy is so extremely simple, but so helpful. For scripture memorization and science definitions, it works great! Even without Premium, I can do enough to really help get those passages in my head for good. I love that you can export words and memorize anything by typing it in. Simple, but perfect for what I needed!

“Memorize by heart” 💙 is better. This app not only is missing features compared to its competition, its also really expensive. “Memorize by heart” is $1 a month. I don’t work for them, it’s just so frustrating to me that this app more well known when its clearly inferior and overpriced by comparison.

Easy to use!. I love how easy this app is to use. Right at start up there's a little tutorial to explain everything. I also like how you can really input any text you wanna memorize! Right now I'm using it to prepare a presentation but I know I can use it to remember readings or even poems that I can recite to my sweetheart later.

Great Tool!. I am loving this app! It has a simple interface and helps you get familiar with a text fast. I love the long hold feature where I can glance at a hidden word, and how I can easily review something for just a few minutes each day. Very helpful. This app is both nicely designed and effective in it’s purpose. A lot of similar apps are cluttered and poorly designed, but not this one. If you use the various memorization methods offered, in the order suggested, it really is very helpful. It does what it says, and does it well. Also, the developer is responsive to any issues.

Great for Memorizing!. Although it was a little pricey, I am so glad I bought a lifetime subscription to this app! It helped me memorize a poem for my school's recitation contest and I got second place! Plus, it only took me one night to memorize the whole thing. I am so thankful the techniques on this app work for me. I am currently studying for a Shakespeare sonnet and monologue competition. It's going great. I definitely recommend this app for anyone who needs to memorize things regularly. It's a great investment!

I LOVE THIS APP. This is the smartest line learning app I’ve been able to find, and I’ve tried a TON of clever apps made for performers. The “repeat, repeat, repeat” method never worked for me because my poor lil ADHD mind would get so bored within minutes that my eyes would glaze over. And according to science on memorization, mindless repetition does NOT stick like intentional, effortful learning does. So how do I stay engaged after dozens of times over the same few pages of lines? Enter MemoCoach. This elegant lil app has dozens of methods to switch things up. My favorites so far are hiding random words and hiding entire lines. The best part is that as I’m reviewing, I can reveal what’s hidden without navigating away and supply my brain with instant correction. No more paraphrasing lines or stumbling uncertainly through phrases that I never quite got solidly down. Awesome. Big thanks to the person behind the curtain.

Cool app I guess?. This app would work really well for me and what I need to use it for but it is far too expensive for me. There are apps for cheaper that give you more options such as Memorize By Heart that is only $0.99 for a month instead of $10. This app would’ve been my primary memorization tool if it weren’t so expensive. I understand the creators need to make money but $10 for just 1 month is a bit absurd.

great help with memorization. i have been memorizing texts for many years and am always looking for a good app to help. i really like the app and use it to memorize dharma (buddhist scriptures). i’m in it several times a day reviewing and learning new texts. i have setup daily, weekly and monthly review folders and use the author metadata to track which texts verses belong to. id love to see daily weekly and monthly reminders built in to the app along with some other review methods like fill in the blank and even typing them out. keep up the good work.

Not certain I am learning faster and I would like to see some improvements when it comes to automatic rolling of the text. Overall Good. Overall the experience is pretty good. However the pdf import almost never works, which leaves me to punch in everything manually. I'm sure it could get pretty complicated to make it work every time but heres to hoping it will in the future!!

Poem. Great app! Very useful. I wanted to learn my husband’s favourite poem and kept postponing as it felt like too hard and too long but with this app it’s actually fun and I feel like I am remembering it in twice less time.

Very helpful. This app has be so helpful in helping me learn monologues. I just wish you could tap of the word that’s covered to have just that word uncovered. Sometimes I forget a word but I don’t want to take away all the black boxes. A tap on the word feature would be so helpful!! However I highly recommend for actors who have to prep for auditions

Best memorization app. Great app! I use it with my students to help them memorize poems and Shakespeare passages. Super helpful tech support, frequent improvements, everything I want from an app like this. Highly recommended!

Pretty good. So good so far haven’t used it much since I’ve been doing school but from what I’ve seen so far it’s pretty good.

Exceptional memorization app. There was much thought put into this app to include ease of use with powerful results. I’m grateful for the excellence provided to create such an effective app.

Minor details. I found this app to be helpful, but some things were not so great… The only method that is free is hiding part of a word, which I found to be confusing. Any other method, such as hiding whole words or sentences, cost money. So other than that the app is pretty cool.

Helps me memorize my programs. I’m a naturalist interpretive guide in a National park and I use this app to help me memorize my programs for guests. I really like how personalized it is, and that the ads are kept to a minimum. Very easy to use and a great resource. Thanks, Kevin!

Great little sidekick for learning my lines!. This app is honestly such a lifesaver! I struggle with memorization and this app makes it such an easy process to learn my lines!! Love love love it!!

Best app for memorizing. I can’t believe how easy it was! I had a 4 page/4scene script to memorize in less than a day! And I did it with this app! I’m still amazed and still using it to memorize for more auditions! Get this app!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not enough free functionality. This app seems like it has potential. That being said, it has no use to me. As an actor, I need to memorize my speech line by line, not by removing random words throughout. I really do not want to pay $4 PER MONTH just to do something that can be done by hand for free (but much less easily).

Only two items free. Only two or three items were allowed to be added in the free version before it started prompting me to upgrade and wouldn’t allow me to add more. The method is ok. Erasing one word at a time. Additional steps of review would be helpful, breaking it into chunks, review with recording, prompts to repeat a number of times before moving on. But other apps do this. I wish I could give a better review but I was really disappointed.

Great way to learn songs. I use this app to learn the lyrics of songs our band plays. It’s perfect since I’m always on the run with my day job. I can pull up the song when I am not busy and memorize a few lines each time.

Won’t Save Anything!. I got this game and I was really excited to find an easy way to learn my lines! To my surprise, you have to buy something to actually save your stuff and use certain features! Why the money? I just wanted to memorize my lines! When I finally decided to pay my money, it wouldn’t even load! This is crazy! This has good potential, but right now it is killing me!

Memorized in 30 min. This app helped me so much! We only have a short time to memorize a script before we start running the show, and I memorized biggest line in less than 10 minutes!!

Perfect app to memorize text. Very cool concept. Currently learning long stoic quotes. Allows you to gradually hide words from each line until you feel comfortable to hide them all.

Wonderful App!. This has been so helpful to me, as a new mom I enjoy trying to memorize quotes, scriptures and phrases that will help me try and become a better parent, this app is so helpful in that process. I am so grateful to the person who created it! Thanks!

A Game Changer!. It’s been 30 years since I’ve been on the stage and had to memorize lines...this was a true game changer. They way the words black out slowly, at my pace, allowed me time to work the lines very confidently. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Not a time waster it’s a workout for our brains!. This is the opposite of so many things. It does not waste time. It is a useful memorization tool. Well worth the premium lifetime cost. Highly recommend.

Useful. I’m am actor so I can always use some help when memorizing my lines. I like that you can use it like a teleprompter so you don’t have to scroll down when practicing. :)

Easy. No trouble importing pdf. Tried it free first. Hides letters and words from easiest to hardest. You are in control. I have a short script to learn and find it helpful to learn it fast. Thank you!

Great!!. Amazing app so helpful for learning scriptures. most bible memorization app don’t let you put your own text in. And to get the translation you want you have to pay. So thank you for a great app

awesome!. i love this app it works really well for helping you learn your lines! i like that you don’t need the premium for the first three options. however it gets annoying to have to press the button a lot of you need to go back to reveal words if you have paragraphs. i highly recommend this app for anyone in a play or even writing a speech for a presentation!

Confused. I would so love to participate in this app but I can’t figure out, even after reading the tutorial and trying to contact you (which I couldn’t figure that out either) how to text words into the hidden spaces of the first poem from R. Frost.

The best. So far, the best app to memorize wherever I want, not just Bible verses. I try all and this is the simple and effective. I wil get the lifetime deal and forget about subscriptions.

Author Responds. I love this app. I use the app to memorize quotes, jokes, prose and poems. Not only does it work well but also the author responds to emails. I wanted to transfer my files from one ipad memy app to another ipad memy so I emailed the author for help. He responded and I was able to accomplish what I wanted.

Asking for a review…. Asking for a review is cringy. Especially when it’s a paid app… “can you write me a review for nothing so I can make more money off other people since you’re not gonna buy it?” At least offer a discount before asking a favor. I’m using this to study in the military and I’d love to review it higher but it’s just out of my price range. Other than that it’s pretty polished.

Great app. I have a hard time memorizing huge chunks of text, and this is helping me better than any other method I’ve ever tried!

Great App. This is a great app for memorizing. It is helping me out tremendously during my yoga teacher training and I will use this even after training is complete. I’m so grateful for my friend showing me this app.

Super Helpful!. My passion is theatre so I have to do a lot of memorizing. I have to memorize scripts and monologues and this app really really helps. I’ve recommended it to all of my friends who also like theatre.

New. I just started this app bc I want to memorize scripture. So far so good…. The older you get the harder it seems but this is helping a lot!

Only used once and only the poem already available.. AND it was impressive! In just a short time of playing around I can say I comfortably could recall the 1st stanza easily.

Great app!. Great app really helpful for memorizing passages of scriptures. Maybe having a mode where you only see the first letter of every word could also be helpful to shake things up.

Love the new update!. I always wanted the dark mode and the new memorization methods but without paying the subscription. So much better than the original app! Keep up the good work!

The best memorization app!. I have tried many different apps but when it comes to mesmerizing medical terminology and definitions, or learning long lists, or long scripts this app always comes on top! What a great app and worth the lifetime $40 purchase!

So far so good!. This is a brilliant app. I’ve just been using it a few days but so far I like it. Not sure if I would buy the premium but I’m thinking about it! I’m using it to memorize poems, scripture, and monologues.
