DO NOT BUY, DOES NOT RUN. **Update: game no longer moves beyond main menu, completely unplayable** The controls (especially the right side trigger) are so poorly calibrated the game is UNPLAYABLE. The App Store will not contemplate a refund, so it's $9 down the drain. The game's producer, 10tons, has not responded to my email sent a week ago.

Wonderfully addictive game. Such a fun game! Beautiful graphics. Great musical score. Addictive game play. The only downside is that the touchscreen controllers sometimes aren’t responsive. Playing with a controller is better

Fun game, great graphics.. The game’s graphics are very nice, and fun. The difficulty ramps up pretty hard pretty quickly, though.

Please make an Apple TV version. This game is sooooo much fun I want to play it on my tv.

Fun, but one problem.. I’ll keep it short and sweet. It’s a fun game, and I love the HP Lovecraft/Tesla mix of it all. Only problem I have, is the movement and shooting controls. When I move my character the gun look around which is fine, but when I move the other joystick button it moves the gun around as well and I completely miss my enemies cuz the 2 movement buttons clash with each other. Only problem I have with it so far, so please fix the controls.

Would love to play this but.... On my iPhone XR the display is minimized to the bottom left corner of the screen and the touch screen controls don’t work, so the game is thus far unplayable. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting the iPhone as well, but until this is fixed I can’t in good conscience give this a good review!

Terrific game and app. Outstanding, well done top down shooter of diverse monster hordes. The controls work well; the mech suit is a blast; the teleport and perks add interesting variety; the DLC is great fun! Another terrific game by 10tons.

Best game on my iPad. First off this game has the one thing that I want most in my iPad game which is pay once. Best full of performance and also there is a lot of content.... I play on the iPad Pro and controls bug out sometime but for the most part controls are great.

Great, but.... Great game, but please add the option to move the abilities button over to the right side of the screen next to the other input buttons for phone holding convenience, and also either make the pause button much bigger and/or have a much larger input circumference, or just have another way of pausing the game entirely like pressing the middle of the screen or something as it’s incredibly difficult to pause the game in the middle of the action. Other then that I can’t wait for the dlc so I can continue upgrading and taking on new levels and baddies. Thanks.

Love the game, tweak a few things. I Both love and hate this game ,reasons why: I’m never looking where the health bar should be and the health bar runs out too quickly. The enemy swarm too fast and some of guns seemed NERFED. I think there should be an easy and a hard mode. There should be a Facebook connection so the game is able to be played between apps. I have two different games going right now, one on my iPhone and one on my iPad. You should be able to teleport any distance you want. Thanks for making an addicting game that I enjoy. An Absolute Blast!. A very fun theme paired with fast-paced bulletfest gameplay. Reports of the game’s impossible difficulty towards the end are exaggerated. It certainly reaches a decent challenge, but I still wanted even more by the time I finished. Not to say I was unsatisfied, it was loads of fun & plan to follow the developers with future games.

Needs work. I have been playing this game for a while now. All in all it’s a fantastic game! But a lot of the enemies could use some balancing especially with the sheer randomness of perks. Spawns of Dagon can 5-6 shot you with their charge which unless they are on screen you don’t know are there, making it difficult to not get hit. Yes there is your teleport but it’s hard to harness the reaction timing of a god. Secondly is the flying polyp which can drop your health by 1/4 if you pass through it, now again teleport and they can’t do much but the sheer damage their beam does should be brought down a bit for the occasional time you can’t teleport. The eldritch bosses need a big nerf. I get it it’s a boss it’s suppose to be hard but I spent 4 days, roughly 2 hours each day trying to get past Lord of Arkham on the normal plane! I’m not going to say I’m a trash player but I’m by no means a god player. Next is enemy animations. Every time I get close to an enemy they are able to attack me long before their animation even shows them hitting me. For example the dagons, they hit me when their arms start moving and not when their claws actually reach a point in which it makes sense that I would get hit. In an enemy hell type game, animation dodging is important and you can’t do that when your enemy can hit you before it’s animation starts. Finally is the controls. Personally I would recommend 2 buttons near the aim pad. One for teleport and one for your active ability. I can’t tell how many times I couldn’t teleport cause the game simply would only register as me wanting to move, same with the ability and aiming. Also there is a thing where if I choose a perk, the aim will act as my movement for a second or two making it difficult to get back in the fight

Good but missing dlc from pc version. Also I don’t see a bendable button for gamepad to lock weapon

Amazing game, broken graphics in latest update. Game is absolutely amazing, but the graphic quality went down the toilet in the latest update. I’m on a 10.5” iPad Pro, and the graphics are blurry and pretty shoddy from the latest update. Fix that, and it’s back to a 5-star rating.

Game Center?. THIS GAME IS FUN. Just got it. Love it. I wish the auto-targeting was a little crisper but that’s a minor complaint. I see the game supports Game Center but when I tried picking up the game on my phone my progress was otherwise completely separate from the game I started on my iPad.

Postage Stamp Sized. iPhone XR. Latest iOS. 12.3.1. Screen shrinks to one fourth of my phone on the bottom left. Is not responsive. iPhone on/off doesn't help. Would probably enjoy the game otherwise.

Great HQ game, could use some balancing. This is a great premium studio title. Lots of fun and challenging. However the progression could use some smoothing, I’ve made it to the “Mountain of Madness” and hit it like a brick wall. I’m currently resigned to farming crystals at 3-6 per level based on the plane bonus to grow stronger to take that one level. I’ve invested significant crystals into “epic” upgrades but they still come along very rarely, and it’s required to even have a CHANCE at the level I’m stuck on. There’s so many enemies and the weapons are so weak, there’s no way to kill them before the boss arrives and fills the level utterly solid with heat-seeking projectiles. The difficulty ramp was too high on this level and the crystals farming is very slow compared to upgrade costs. Hoping I don’t get burned out on the game during the long process it’ll take to buff Tesla up to have a chance at beating that level.

No update?. We need new maps and new zombies lol

Epic!. This is such an awesome game! Even after completing all three planes, I still go back and replay areas. Great graphics, music, and challenging dual stick shooter action! More content please! I'm a huge Lovecraft fan, so I'd love to see more creatures, etc from his mythos.

Great for a quick mental relaxation break at work. I will say this is just what I was looking for. Easy to learn, not a huge time commitment, and completely entertaining. I definitely got my money’s worth on this game

A ton of fun?! how about 10tons!. And get this, I haven't even opened this new twin-stick shooter from you know who. If you've played their previous titles, then you know what to expect: a rogue-lite with tight, responsive controls and a hell of a lot of replayability. Keep up the great work over there!

Ok. Just balance it a bit

Bad frame rate on XS Max. Very disappointed... frame rate dips on XS max from 60 to what feels like 30. Rebooted phone and kept settings on default. Hopefully a patch fixes it in the future.

It’s a fun game but has flaws. The biggest issue that I face is my screen has a spaz attack whenever I play it but it doesn’t have very often only when things get super crazy

Great game, but keeps crashing. Sorry but the latest update still hasn’t fixed the final level crashing bug. This game is effectively useless until fixed.

Good game but controls need work. Have this on multiple platforms and looked forward to having it on the go, but the double tap controls, especially for teleporting are horrible. There’s an option for a teleport button but it does not appear to work on the iPhone X. Fix the controls and it’s a 5-star game!

Fun but crashes. I have enjoyed Lovecraft since I was a kid and appreciate the greatness of Tesla so I was sold the second I saw this title. Game play is easy to grasp, harder to master, but definitely enjoyable! The cons are small, mostly it’s crashed a few times, which is annoying but not a deal-breaker. What is however is the fact I’ve beat Wardenclyffe (last battle on the first level) three times and every time it has crashed. If this isn’t fixed I simply can’t recommend this (highly enjoyable) game.

Disappointing. I love everything 10tons has done, and this is unfortunately the first one I don't. It is so close to being fun but just lacks the "one more game" that all of their other releases have. The weapons are almost all boring samey copies (shotguns or rapid fire in multiple variations) and there are very clearly "tiers" of weapons with some common ones that are totally useless and one clear winner way better than anything else (repeater shotgun). The power ups are really cool, but again some of them are totally useless and some are really powerful. Same with the perks - some are totally useless and some are really powerful. The epic perks are a neat touch but after 20+ hours of play, I've only seen two - the death ray (which isn't very good) and the infinite teleport. They're so rare that they might as well not exist. All of this adds up to a very heavily luck based game. You can play perfectly but still end up screwed over and over until you luck into the right combination of power ups, perks, and weapons, especially as you get further into the game. To make it worse, you can unlock persistent upgrades, but they are SO SLOW to acquire because the currency (crystals) drops like 1-6 PER LEVEL and they cost sometimes hundreds of crystals. On top of that, most of the upgrades barely affect gameplay, and have vague descriptions like "increase chance", so you could spend several hours of gameplay on an upgrade that does almost nothing. Add to that the really poorly designed controls and giant buttons on iPad, and its just not a very great game. It's alright, but not great. Which is a shame, because all of these problems seem to demonstrate that the game didn't get much balance testing and could be fixed, and it could be as good as all of 10tons other work. I hope that 10tons will release a balance update or expansion or something, because it would be a shame for all of their hard work to go to waste with something mediocre and so close to great.

Great game!!. Great game !! The upgrades and perks are a lot of fun to use. I really like he monster kill counter, makes me want to kill kill kill! Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because it kills my phones battery. Other than that I highly recommend this game.

Eh. ***I’d love to know what the actual numbers are behind the Aether Distiller. I have 6 of the 10 slots purchased and am getting an epic perk at a WHOPPING 1.11%. That doesn’t include the 2 perks that I start with, which have never been epic. Considering the cost of the game, you’d expect much less grinding to be able to purchase anything of value. The whole random power up thing is straight out of the pay to play game model as well. To be truly honest, it’s like a less interesting version of Minigore 2, which was one of my favorite games. Maybe if you took some more cues from that game this one would be better. The graphics are great though, so good on you for that. If I had tried it before buying it, I have to say I would’ve passed in this one.

Awesome!. This game is surreal! Amazing graphics. Awesome gameplay! Super cool in a lot of ways! It also has MiFi support so you really can’t beat it! Worth every penny!

Nostalgic. I haven’t played a top down like this since geometry wars for the Xbox 360. when I read it had MFI controls I decided to try it out. I also have a hdmi adaptor so I hooked it up to the big screen. It’s amazing with a controller and hdtv. Well worth the buy.

Excellent w/ 1 request. It’s an awesome twin-stick shooter with slick graphics & smooth gameplay. I’m enjoying the introductory levels. I wish, however, the developer would include iCloud sync in an update. Thanks..

Great game, quest bug lets it down. Great fun and good for sitting on buses - it really lets you zone out until your stop. It’s had a bug for at least a couple of years where certain quests can never be fulfilled: winning with the ricochet perk is one. I saw someone report this on the Steam forums for the PC version. Would be a solid 5/5 if that were fixed.

Fiest impressions review. Wow, I really like this game! The neon-like aesthetics appeal to me and enemy designs look really cool and are easy enough to spot in the heat of combat. I also like the wide variety of power-ups, perks, and weapons to add even more variety. So nice having a full priced game so as to never deal with micro transactions (only one DLC to buy) like artificial play time limits and currenxy to unlock things. Only thing keeping me from giving it a 5/5 is the sudden frame-rate drop when you enter the mech or start a mission (at least on my iPhone 8 plus).

Fun, but... Fast paced, action packed little gem. Charming graphics and addicting gameplay. Unfortunately, gameplay suffers from frame drops and sluggish controls. I am playing on iPhone XS. Wish list: better optimization, improved controls, and co-op mode With the above changes, this game can easily be a massive hit!

Still crashing after nov 12 2018 update. Great top down arena shooter. Fun story and lots of weapons. Default controls are clumsy, I suggest turning on the teleport button which gives much more surgical movement. Crashes after you die in wardenclyffe in aether plane. iPad Pro with latest IOS update, updated this game with patch to fix the crash but still happens.

10 Tons did it again!. Another gem from 10 tons. Really nice graphic, fast pace dual stick shooter! A must play for every fan of the genre!
