It’s good, BUT.... I like the setup but the microphone is 1 full note off. For example, when it shows a “C” note on the scale, it only responds correctly if I play a “D” note on my keyboard. Before you think my digital keyboard is off, a “C” note on it sounds the same note that I hear pressing the “C” on the app keys. So, the mic is not tuned correctly.

Music app. This app is super easy and is really helping me learn my notes. Ruth - age 7.

I don’t get it…if I don’t know music why make me guess!. What a shame I was excited until l learned that like most music apps they are written by people who already know the scales and charts and have forgotten that a new learner has no idea 🤷‍♂️ what is what. 😞

Great for getting back into reading music. I haven’t played music since high school (20 years). I’ve only been using this for two days and it’s all starting to come back to me. This app is great. Best of all it’s free. Even if it wasn’t it would totally be worth it.

Fun game!. I am a music teacher and this is actually pretty fun… Lots of controls to change colors, testing patterns, etc. Thank you!

Review. To easy!! You guys should mix up the letter at the bottom to make it more difficult because its easy when there in the same order of the notes. Make changes soon. Thank you.

Almost. It’s good but I wish I didn’t have to slide the letters back and forth to select the correct note

Great idea but major flaw. I am trying to use this app to teach my child note names. I want to use the option to answer the questions with the note names as opposed to the keys on the piano. When I select that option, it only has E G B D and F available to choose. I’m assuming it is some sort of glitch, but it needs to be resolved.

Why is there a note H?. My kid has been using this app. She enjoys it but there are too many settings that need to be adjusted, treble and base, line and space notes. The format is great but it’s not that intuitive. Also, why is there a note H instead of a note B? This is really confusing to me and is questioning my sanity. There is not a note H on the piano! Also, the app suggests there’s a Pro version but I’ve checked several times and do not see any upgraded version or way to upgrade. I was hoping the Pro version would eliminate the dreaded non-existent H key.

This fun!. I am 55 and learning to play for the first time as physycal therapy for my hand’s neuropathy. This is very challangeing because I am playing my son’s flute. This forces me to stretch my fingers. It’s fun to have the cat pop up when I have my fingers in the correct position. I would pay for the pro version if you added flute fingerings. Thank you

Terrible app. You have to slide the notes around before you can select which note you’d like. Too hard for my little one to do. Just put all the letters where you can choose the correct answer without having to slide notes around! In response to developer’s response to my review: I tried downloading the app again to check out their suggestions. When I tried to flip to landscape mode, it said the free app doesn’t support landscape mode, and you have to get the paid version. I changed the setting to include all the keys my little guy knows, but needs to practice (f space at bottom of base clef to g space above treble clef) and tried to play the game myself, but you still have to slide the letters around to get the right color “a” or “b” or whatever based on what octave it is in. If there’s a way to fix this on the app and actually make the app useful, it’s too hard to find.

Love. I’m 29 but I’m finally wanting to learn music after it being a lifelong hearts desire. Thank u Jesus for this app. It’s fun and helpful.

bad. only four buttons on screen at a time, when it should be seven. clicking “C” when you see “C” is often marked as a wrong answer, because it was a different “C”. and more problems.

Helps remember notes. I had a little melt down because I had a long break from lessons and did not practice so I got this and just can’t stop playing this game

👍. This is helping my son who is learning to play violin this gets him excited to learn notes.

Bug where I can’t select custom range (level 3). This would be a 5 star app, but it won’t let me go any lower than the top space of the bass clef (G) when selecting a custom range. I assume it’s a bug. This is very unfortunate because if not for this bug I would have gladly paid a lot of money for this app :(

Has potential. I didn’t know if I got the answer right or wrong when I started. Maybe get rid of the cat and put a check or an x instead.. Maybe you can use the cat to put motivational messages that appear on the screen, like if your having trouble make the cat appear and put a speech bubble saying “You can do it!” And if your doing a good job the cat can say “You’re doing great! Keep up the good work!” Also, maybe you should make the interface cleaner so there is not buttons everywhere. You should totally add a setting to turn the timer and score feature on and off! Maybe also add games where you compete against the clock to get the most points and rank up on the leaderboards! Overall, this is a great app but it has so much more potential.

Could be better. Not all the notes answers fit into the screen frame. This is a basic fix the developer should make.

My thoughts about this program. It’s very simple But a great way to learn to notes of the music score

Very helpful. I have tried other apps but this one is the best!

Incorrect notes. The first note that came up was a note on the highest line on the treble clef. This note is F, but F wasn’t given as an option. I was hoping this could teach my daughter to recognize her notes easier. I immediately deleted this app.

Great App!. My daughter really knows her notes & enjoys this app!

They’re All About The Same. Note at a time program. You’d more than likely never become a composer if you need an App!

TERRIBLE!!!. I can’t learn anything from this app because I can’t even use my piano I thought I could learn songs with this not learn the notes I already know the notes! This is a bad app if you wanna play piano! 😡

I like this game!. One of the reasons I like this game is that it's educational, and I love to learn. Another reason is that it is colorful and I love the little cat. This isn't a long review, I know, but I just wanted to write so, so much more people can download it. Thank you for reading my review. 😃🙃🤩😁

Great and free. Works well. Only thing is the app could be geared up a little, but simple is also beautiful.

Love the personalization settings!. First, having both treble and bass clef on the screen helps with reading real music scores. I love that you can personalize not only level of difficulty, but turn on/off the cat, change background and note color, vary the scales, and instrument source. Great job in creating a very useful app!

I like this app. I like this app because you says if you got you wrong or not.

Good app but needs some work. The app is very helpful as I am learning to read the bass clef line. The only problem I see is that when choosing level 3 to read above the line the notes are in the writing so you can’t really see the note. You can’t tell if the note has a line through it or how many spaces above the line it is. If I could upload a picture I would show you what I mean. Otherwise it is a good app for learning.

Hola hola hes. Good news got the manual v were edénicakddekucprlweuriiuxty don’t very well eddy figure up key to Stettin u to the hospital ey to the hospital

Incorrect Answers. The app keeps showing notes where the correct answer isn’t one of the 4 options given at the bottom of the screen. It then gets stuck on that flash card since you can’t click on the correct answer. Very cute idea otherwise.

Learning music at 62. I always wanted to play piano so put my daughter through lessons and now she is a piano teacher and teaches me. I love to have different modalities to learn sight reading and this app is helpful for identifying the notes on the piano.

Great. Just what I was looking for.

Doesn’t capture correct note. The microphone always recognize note half step below. For example, I need to press C to make a correct answer for B. I used this App a few years ago it was working fine. Please help or fix this. Thanks.

Great app!♥️ 👍🏻. This is a great app it helps me remember the notes on the piano easily! I really recommend this app it’s super safe and easy for kids and other people! Good job on this app!👍🏻

Kids LOVE this app!. My students love to play with this app which is teaching them to read music. I highly recommend this app.

Close but not quite.. I am looking for a flash card app to learn musical notes on the treble clef. This app is ok for that, but the problem is it is a limited multiple choice. I can either do FACE or EGBDF. I need to do both.

Good :). It definitely helps give a good perspective about the piano and thats why I like it :)

Needs much improvement. Needs to remove cat. It’s hard to see if you got the answer correct or not. Also, I had to remove and reinstall the app many times because a lot of times the app would freeze on multiple devices. I made sure That my devices were up-to-date but there still were many issues with freezing of the app. I have permanently remove the app and do not plan to use it ever again. 👎🏻☹️

Great remembering of notations. It’s easy and simple. Color coding gives hint. But after some time you don’t need hints. The sound also helps to get your ear used to the notations. It’s important that you register the sound. It’s as simple as alphabet letters which has sound too.

No menu bar. The menu bar has disappeared and I cannot change anything.

Good For All. I Tried The Game! It Was Awesome, It Really Helped Me Out For The Flute And For The Piano! you Should Try The Game! 🤍

I like it but it has some major issues. First of all if you are trying to learn the keys I don’t think that I should tell you what color they are cause that’s cheating and you will never really develop what letter it’s is. Second it dosent really do anything other than show you the letter and then you have to guess what key it is. I feel like there should be other activities or something to actually do.

I am having trouble finding the correct answer. I don’t know the exact notes

Perfect!. Fun interactive learning. Just what I’ve been looking for

Useful app but data collection is concerning. This very simple app offers a flash card approach to learning notes on the clefs. I found it helpful and as a piano student I appreciate the option of learning notes by name (letter) or finding the note on a keyboard. I would give it 5 stars for simplicity and usefulness, but removed two stars for unnecessary (and disturbing) data collection.

Burka is perfect for kids. Perfect for kids learning notes!

Good. Isn’t the best game for my kid but it still keeps crashing on my kids

Great sight note teacher. This is a very good Kid friendly app for learning notes. Actually it is appropriate for anyone wanting an easy way to learn notes.

Nutka review. Helps my kids learn the places of the notes on the staff

Clare. Its soo AMAZING for my dorter she plays this every day

Flexibility. Would be better if you could choose exactly which notes you want to practice

Good but needs to save setting changes. Works well. The purchased app doesnt save the settings for keyboard colour, note colour etc. Odd as the free version does….

Works on iPad but not when using mic. Great app… unfortunately the mic always picks up 1 note below. We have an electronic piano, so it’s not the tuning and I can hear the app is wrong. Pls fix the mic option :D. Enjoying app on the iPad for now.

Okay game. It’s a great game for kids to learn notes but it can say it’s F when it’s A. Reccomend getting this game and trying it out. But in conclusion it’s a good game!

It tests sight reading AND playing. Well, I’m not a kid but I really like this app. I just learn by myself. With this app I can practise both sight reading as well as finding the notes on the actual instrument using the microphone option. How good is that. I’m doing it with a ukulele and a piano and I’m looking forward to this app being a good tool to improve my speed.

It’s not very good. It’s not very good

the only way to do it. i’m so impressed by your app such an amazing way to calm down and grate for learning notes in music ❤️👍 god bless you

Annoying ads. I deleted this app during my second time using it, when I couldn’t get past the unusually-annoying ads that kept popping up. There are better and more convenient sight-reading apps out there. Get one of those instead. You won’t miss anything by skipping right past this one.

Fun and easy. Great practice and easy to use!

Fun. This is a fun way to learn my notes.

I love this app. Hi there

better than the pro apps lol. nice cat yo

Crashes before I can use the app to see if it’s any good. Crashes before I can use the app to see if it’s any good.

Nutka is the best!. A real great game for piano students.

Not bad. Real nice and good for piano note practice so it’s four stars

מירה. אפליקציה נהדרת ללימוד תוים

So impressed!!. I’m recommending this to parents of my students who struggle with identifying notes quickly. It’s free and it works well, and is also available for Android platforms which most of my students’ families are likely to have. I took screenshots of how to set it up, for the parents.

Why the obnoxious snare drum?. What’s up with the drumming in the background? Incredibly obnoxious and distracting. What were you thinking?

Boring. It is so boring and not fun I do not like it🙄

OOF. OOFOOFOOFOOFOOFOOFOOFOOFOOFOOFOOFOOFOOF

Stupid. Stupid

Okay. It’s been okay.

Mic doesn't work on iOS!. The mic function works great on android, but not on iOS. Please fix! It's by far my favorite part of the android version and is so incredibly helpful for learning on acoustic piano! 5 stars for sure if you can get that to work!

Piano star. I am now a piano super star

Run run. Poooop

Horrible. I hate this game I can’t figure out how it even teaches people to read music notes

Simple flash cards on your phone. I’m waiting for piano/music theory flash cards to arrive from Amazon and wanted to learn on my phone in the meantime and as a supplement later. This works great so far. I like that they do notes on lines first, then spaces, then both. Divide and conquer.

It’s a fun game!. Fun

32. I like it and it is helpful
