A lot of confusion. I go out constantly during high fishing activity on Atleast a dozen occasions and never get a bite . Last night it said 98 percent fishing activity . But the area had 15 MPH winds with waves of 4.4 coming at you from the surf . No one could cast far enough or keep their rig from washing ashore . But then the other night I go out and it’s a average fishing activity , and not even the best time to go from what the app says , yet I caught fish all night. I will say that the app has other good features . I’m sure the developers put a lot of time into making this app. But the factors for fishing activity don’t work.

Pretty useless. I’ve never caught fish on so called high fish activity days. Right now it says very high fish activity, there hasn’t been anything out and most fisherman know that full moons are terrible for fishing, so I’m wondering why the app says extremely high fish activity when in reality there is almost zero fish activity. Just stick to google for basic tide charts and fish them accordingly, these forecasts on here mean nothing and don’t make any sense and will not help you catch fish whatsoever.

Finally! Everything in one place.. Excellent! Everything I need in one place. No more fiddling with disparate apps trying to get insight into one aspect of angling information.

Great Potential. This is a good app to assign waypoints for fishing points and you can open waypoints on phone and pads. They sit in the cloud. The Nautical views are not great, needs a better map platform with more detail and water depths.

Your nautical charts are ridiculous. You spell out every last name of every buoy that shows up on the chart. It’s nothing but a garbled mess. It also has a hard time coming up on my screen because of TMI. I’m at home trying to use it on a Wi-Fi and it’s having a hard time down loading, I couldn’t imagine what it would be like on a cell signal on the ocean.

Fishing Data. I like the app and relative information. But i would like and easy way to look up locations with a search feature and also be able to put a description with the coordinates. Hard to look up places with only a reference point.

Likes and dislikes of this app. I love this app for fishing and weather The only one problem I have with this app. Is I wish they had feet in the depth chart. Other than that the weather is great. The fish activity is great the waves are great. I use it to track trolling and that works awesome.

Needs work, including making it easy to contact support.. This app has lots of useful features, but there’s a lot that’s not very intuitive. Why can’t I search for a location on the map? Why can’t I find support to ask you that from within the app?

Fish Activity. In my last review I searched on days with high fish activity in the 90s and caught relatively nothing. I had 2 ither days scheduled in the 90s and blank them also. Yesterday fishing activity was rated a 7, very very low and I caught 4 yellowtail and two very large Bonita! As far as fish activity rating of this app goes, it is horrible. I do like the locations sides of it though. I can mark places I catch fish like Waypoints on a Fish Finder. This makes finding hotspots so easy since I fish different boats a lot in the Freedom Boat Club.

Straight To The Point. I moved to a new coastal area a few months back and I’ve been searching all over the place for a solid multifunction fish tracker. For the $30 a year you really can’t beat it. I just consider it another drop in the bucket for fishing gear! Thank you devs!

Good app. The fish activity and all the information seems to be accurate and it’s my go to app when I’m about to go fishing and trying to get a idea of the water conditions and fish activity.

Best fishing app ever. This is a great tool to increase your catch!! Paying attention to moon faze, weather forecast, marking points, and saving pictures of your catch before you release them to grow bigger.

Will this app’s maps work offline/ off grid in mid Canada?. Need an app that can record our route on a lake in Canada and be able to retrace our route to get back to the lodge basecamp. Can this app do all that? Offline and using gps only? Thanks

Great app. This app is incredibly handy. I would like to see the ability to quickly mark depth to make a contour map. I run rivers in my jet boat, so being able to quickly mark waypoints is important. I have used it to mark fishing spots, catches, and to keep track of fish. It should come in handy when ice fishing.

To Jaydyahoo. Your complaining about the app because it doesn’t show you were to catch fish? You must be joking. Maybe you want the app to reel in your catch also. Smh

Great app.. I use this app all the time when fishing in the ocean. I have marked several locations and have been able to return right on the spot marked.

Great but why. This app is very helpful and fun. I like all the things you can do on it. But i was wondering how do you know the fishing forecast? Is made up?

Fishing Log. I’ve only used the app for a couple of weeks, but it looks like a way to keep an accurate fishing log. I like being able to post pics easily too. The fish activity feature is more detailed than the charts I use, but so for they work well too!

Topo Map. I love the app but it would help a lot more if there was a detailed topographical map of the lakes so that everyone could see where the depth drops off at. Overall definitely one of the better fishing apps but the topographical map would make it way better!

No fish at high activity. I was originally excited about this app. Living on salt water enables us to go fish (whether on the dock or out in the boat) at a moment’s notice. So we tested the ‘high fish alert’ on 3 separate occasions. Both on the dock and in the boat. Luckily the buoy this app pulls tides/info from is about a quarter mile away. All 3 times we were skunked...not a bite and no activity in the water. Spoke to some commercial watermen who verified it wasn’t the time to fish. We went out at a low activity time (based on this app) but when the local commercial fisherman told us to go. Slayed them. So, although we loved the bells and whistles of this app, some of them just dont work.

Pretty good app. I was only able to import the kmz files I had created by emailing the kmz file to myself, then opening the attachment and specifying to open with the app. The videos online are out of date so I contacted the app developer and he walked me through the process. It brought in kmz file and now I can see my spots in the app.

Need more detail maps. Love this app for most things one complaint is it needs more access to detail lake maps. I have 2 other fishing apps on my phone and have to switch over when I’m on the water because the detail is not there for lake maps.

This is a joke. I bought this thinking it was legit. I did the free trial but I soon found out that this app was not convenient and to pay money was not worth it. That’s when I cancelled my subscription to find out that it charged me even though I canceled it. I’m very mad because it charged me $32. If I can get a refund please contact me it’s too much money that you have taken.

1-Star because I can’t figure out how to share between iPad & iPhone. I have a decent understanding of electronics but I cannot figure out how to share my information between devices. I upgraded to premium in order to load my entire list of the waypoints for the lake where I fish. I entered the waypoints on my iPad since it’s easier then downloaded the app to my iPhone. It now appears the apps on my iPhone and my iPad do not communicate with each other. Is there a way I can log in and register my information or am I required to buy the app again for my iPhone then again load my waypoints? The lake on which I fish is only 800 acres. There are about 20 locations I want to load into a fishing app with Google Maps. I want to be able to go directly to my locations using GPS on my iPhone and/or iPad. If I cannot use the app between both devices then I would like to receive a refund on my purchase. Thank you....Luke B.

5star. I’ve subscribed to this app a few months ago now. I fish every chance I get. Its good to know that all I have to do is check my app and there it is weather, fish activity, location. With this at at my need while I’m on the water or planning my next trip. 5⭐️

Best app of its kind.. Weather is better than most "weather apps" Great features all around! Sunrise/sunset times more detailed would be nice addition. This app will help you fish better!

Good and Bad. There are things I like about the app like being able to save fishing spots. But getting to a mark spot by being able to create a path- no much help. Support seems nonexistent. The videos are not narrated and mostly useless. I want to like this app but for the cost it’s not enough versatility.

MAJOR CHANGE!!!! Bad!!!!. I have been using this app for years. I am a paying for the PREMIUM version. Best I’ve used…..BUT….a major change on the app has list me as a customer, and everyone else in my Fishing Club. The “Nautical Map” no longer shows your current boat location, so you have NO IDEA what the water depth is on the route you are on. This is HIGHLY dangerous here on the West Coast if Florida. Lots of shallow water and oyster bars, and if you don’t know exactly where you are “located” on the Nautical Map, you can easily run aground. This feature has worked for YEARS!!!! Now all of a sudden, it no longer works on the Nautical Map. It does work on the other three types of maps on the app, but NONE of those three show water depth….so what good are they???? DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!

This is the best app!!!. work great . I am using the free version it works good better than any other app now i am using the pro version really good app

Overall Very Good. It took a little bit to figure out how to change locations, but I’m not real good at this stuff. Nevertheless, the app has a lot of good information.

Incredible. Saves all the data I want. Really gives incredible insight to conditions and fish patterns. I like this app more than my hunting apps for wind direction and speed. I can find all the data I need in one place.

Not Acuurate. This app is ok, but it’s not accurate and probably making up random stuff. I did 3 random locations across the U.S. and they all said the same thing for the stats. It does have a nice setup though along with some cool features such as recording the fish you catch and stuff. So I give it a 4/5

Maps. I wanted a chart with the depth! A fisherman had it on his phone. I tried and my phone did not load what he had! So I canceled. I would try again with help

Inaccurate Data. This app provides incredibly inaccurate data. I’ve gone out on the water when it says the swell will be 2.4’ and it is double that. On the other hand I’ve gone out when it says the swell will be 5’+ and it was like glass out. On the plus side, the presentation of the data, inaccurate or not, is flawless. This is what I would want from an app especially when I pay for a subscription. Would just like the swell data to be more accurate.

Customer service rocks!. I previously had an issue with their subscription service. I was contacted promptly and we were able to work something out!

Very Helpful. I check this app every time before I go fishing. The wind direction and speed is very helpful. The weather is always accurate and never lets me down. The fish actively rating has zero credibility but everything else about the app is great.

Marginal app. This app produces the height and interval for waves, swell, and wind waves at a location you set. However, there are no tutorials as to how this app intends the user to “apply” this information. Should this data be averaged, combined? Also, the same tab “waves” on my app says winds S/SW for tomorrow 30 August but when I select the “weather” tab it says winds are N/NE (location and date the same). Overall the app does not appear to give the data in a useful manner to a user nor does it appear the source of their data is consistent. Unless the user was paying attention you can read the wrong info...

Why get something for free when you can pay $10??. First impression was that it was a pretty smooth looking app. Easy to save a new spot, and quick to load. Want to see the forecast for tomorrow, though? Ooooooo... yea, that'll be $10. Come on, you can view this data for free online; why on earth would anyone pay that much for it? You can see the tides for a specific area for the year 3240 if you wanted RIGHT NOW, but the app won't show it for tomorrow?? SMH

Smart way to fish. I use mapping a lot when I’m on a new lake. I look for deep water with good weed line when ice fishing. Best part when you find the fish you can put a waypoint down. So when you go back you know where to go.

Great Universal App. I’m only a casual fisherman going only once sometimes twice a week, and this app meets all the needs I could ever want from gps availability to being able to upload pics of your catch with tons of details automatically uploaded. I’ve found that the info on what time is best , the tides, the moon the waves ect etc are spot on, AND then there’s the cost, super affordable. If you fish you definitely need this app.

Shallow bottom access. As a family of divers, snorkelers, sailers, and fisherpersons, we enjoy the viewing of the bottom of the bay surrounding our house. This affords many advantages in the areas mentioned above.

Very Useful. I’ve been using this app for almost a year and I love it for the inshore fishing that I do in tidal creeks and rivers. Recording my catch data has been particularly useful in determining trends that have made me more productive.

Looking to help expand. I’m a local angler and there’s at least 15 lakes I’ve been to that have no mapping . I’d be interested in helping expand the maps if you’d like to reach out!!

Great fishing app. So far so good. Now I did pay the 4 bucks for the premium or whatever but it is worth it. I can put as many fishing spots as I want and it is very easy to use.

The Best Ever!!!!!. I am a night time only fisherman in Chokoloskee Florida also known as the 10,000 islands. I have been looking for an app that can do everything this app has been so easy to use I went through at least four apps in two weeks of fishing looking for one that can record A trail through these islands and then ride me back through safely. This is the one I was going to go out and buy a $500 navigating system but now I don’t have to there is honestly too many amazing things about this app to write down if you’re looking for one to help you navigate show you the tides, show you the weather, andSeriously much much more this is the one I love it. It’s definitely the best one ever!

Best fishing app there is.. This is the fishing app I’ve been looking for for a long time . The features that I love is the forecast , fish activity, and the ability to mark fishing spots. Within the fishing spots you can record your catches and put down its weight , length, time of the catch, and any notes you want to write about it. The trolling path feature is amazing to record trolling paths. The price for premium is very very reasonable at $5 or $10 a YEAR. Other fishing apps have it at $8 a month and this is just a great price for what you get. Overall I really recommend this app for any angler.

Terrible data. The app itself is built out very well and has every category I am looking for but it’s useless if the data is wrong. The app says half foot swells and it’s 3/4 ft when I go out. Says 95 fish activity on days when Florida fish and game has it rated the worst for a two week period (and they have never steered me wrong). Have looked and it says virtually no chance of rain but every other source says the complete opposite. Definitely need to improve the data before I would think about paying

Am I the only one who is looking for a fishing spots by species?. I installed the app. Within 10 minutes, I figured out that it will not work for me. I am looking for an info for a fishing spots for a specific species within specific inshore LI sound area. I.e where to go for a fluke or stripper fishing - this is not mapped in the app. And there is no easy way to unsubscribe from the app.

Free features are amazing and its Australian!!. I am new to fishing (I used to do it passively and never got into it properly) and don't know too much so I decided to get Fishbrain and its overly complicated with a steep-ish learning curve. This app however has a list of the relevant functions; e.g species and regulations, fish activity, weather and tides. The only thing you have to pay for is the future predictions. Very good app and planning to buy in the future!

Was good..then stopped working. This is a good app; when it works. I paid for a premium subscription which I really enjoyed. One day i updated the app and since then it won’t acknowledge the premium upgrade. I paid again assuming my year had run out (possibly unnecessarily), but it still won’t restore the premium service. Very dissatisfied..

Unable to delete subscription!. This app makes it very difficult to unsubscribe. I hope l won’t get charged after 5 minutes of trial l deleted the app. Most difficult app to unsubscribe I’ve come across!

Data doesn’t change scammmm. App is a scam can set location to Geraldton says very good time 96%Then can change location to Brisbane and says the exact same thing

Tide issues. I signed up for the $29 a year subscription so I could get the tides but unfortunately the tides were wrong which is downright dangerous as I live near Derby which has some of the highest tides in the world. I really like the app so far apart from this serious glitch

Ben Adams. Signed up for 1 year subscription. When I changed to a new phone it seems my account is now inactive and I need to pay again. Only ticked one star because you can’t tick zero stars. Not happy and won’t be paying for another subscription unless I get some help from someone at fishing points. But can’t find any way to contact you.😡

Was great. Was loving it for about 2 years plus another 3 I had data added in then it wouldn’t allow me to sign in I regularly backed it up and all my data was lost now I have to start over with most of the info lost you can’t trust it for your main diary I’m going back to a hand written diary and using WillyWeather for free.

No nautical charts for Australia. Only nautical charts for the US. I’m not interested in the using the app until there are nautical charts available in this app for AUS.

Fishing Surfing Mate. Tidal, Lunar, Solar (including dawn/sunrise and dusk/sunset), GPS (maps: street, geographical, etc! Also your current position and elevation and features to record fish locations/spots and catches), Weather conditions using easily read line graphs throughout the day eg wind direction/speed, cloud, temperature, etc ! Wave heights, direction, period or frequency! Simply brilliant re presentation of info graphically! Also has best fishing periods of activity predictions! With more time I’ll be able to provide feedback for the reliability of major and minor times for various species and whether there is a positive correlation between the likelihood of success repercentage or verbal comment like 14= very low activity and 94 very high activity! The Premium Upgrade Version allows you to look into the future re all of the above and extra added features for an annual subscription cost! Absolutely Brilliant I use it every day!!!

Missing data. Why can’t you enable in settings creak and other names?

Seems okay. Needs to have a Calendar to be able to easily scroll through to put your locations in so you can come back to them year after year. It’s March and it would be great to check in the calendar to see where my places are to fish at that time of the year. All good fishermen have a calendar of hot spots.

Maps for Australia. Great app but needs maps for Australia

Good for people with 0 idea.. This app kinda does everything but also doesn’t do it as good as others. I would have subscribed to premium if you offered me something that wasn’t readily available elsewhere for free. I.e your fish species list for my area (Queensland) is so incomplete it’s laughable. The concept is awesome though the facts, size limits, max age of fish all good, maybe age at legal length would be awesome! Make your list more expensive than the chart I have stuck to a wall on my boat and you’ll get more subscriptions.

Clive. I have found that you can do virtually nothing with the free version which means the app providers have set it so you have to pay or get nothing so they don’t get my vote.

Was fantastic! Now not working. Been using the App for two years now and has been the best but now it’s not working at all, won’t open. Paid for a subscription and no support. Disappointing, all this saved data and can’t access it. I know of people that have reinstalled it and lots everything so their back up system isn’t working. Maybe they have been hacked to get all the good fishing locations or they have just run off with it themselves

???. How do you add location then look at the details of those saved locations? How do you rename those saved locations or do each coordinate has and must be entered? You actually charge for this?

Finding Nemo. We have just moved onto the water in the Bay Islands ( North Stradbroke) QLD. Australia and catching a variety of salt water fish. Not being an expert on fish species I downloaded this ‘ID fish App’ and it’s really helpful, all you do is upload a pic of your catch and the App identifies it, really so cool! The App also interacts with you with real-time support if you haven’t imputed the right info about your fish they will email you with the right fish along with the data. If your a keen fisherman catching unknown species and also want to know if your fish is safe to eat, then this app is a must digital fish finder (identifier) to have in your pocket. Happy fishing. Dissatisfied. The app doesn’t have satellite capabilities when choosing a new fishing location and furthermore nor does it have the ability to name a location instead it’s reliant on the name it chooses which makes it quite difficult to differentiate between different locations. Very disappointed I will not be renewing my subscription unless this changes.

Depth. Couldn’t see the depth not sure whether reading wrong

Not useful without premium. Lots of cool features in this app, but forecasting is a premium feature so without it you can only see the conditions for today, which you can do by looking out the window. In Australia premium is $30/year

This app average. Doesn’t show what I need

Maps Unreliable. Australian nautical map only works sometimes wouldn’t be reliable source when remote.

Fishing app. Starting to use the app. Have had limited success. Will tell you tomorrow. According to the app tomorrow is going to be a great day

Tide times. Seems to have an issue with tide times for your location. In my instance it shows the next low tide at around 10:00 am when in fact it’s around 2:00pm.

Why. Why can’t it let you put in coordinates and it save the ones you put in

Not overly accurate. When you have marked a location and you use the app to go back to that location it will gin you around turning you in circles

🐟. Yes very good haven’t paid yet but most likely will sign up for yearly subscription best fishing app I have found. Don’t know what I would do without it now.

Reasonable app bad backup. I purchased a 12 month subscription with a 24 hour cancellation period. The app didn’t have one of the options I was after and upon trying to cancel it within the 24 hour period the link didn’t work from the email. I had to spend 30 min on the phone messaging Apple to finally cancel it. Not impressed. Funny how the only link that dosnt work in the email from apple is the cancellation link.

Don’t subscribe. it didn’t work. even thoug i had valid subscription and i was able to check it from Aplle menu, the app never allowed me to reactivate the subscription. I might be just in bad luck but that’s what happened to me

Great app. Does what it says, It would be great if users could you insert custom ‘clickable’ links in catch description, for example, add a catch, then under other details copy paste a working link to the state Gov fish rule page. Also, I’d pay double if it had a built in fish identification assist.

Latest version not working. The latest version opens on iPhone 6 but goes to background and doesn’t open correctly. Information says it is good for iOS 12 and above which I have but it doesn’t open correctly.

Too Expensive. Love the app, it has a lot of useful features, runs well, etc. However, would be nice if it had a one time fee as in my opinion it's pretty pricey. But that's just my 2 cents.

Problem with tides. Problems with tides being added for a major City on the West Coast. Emailed developer, minimal response and the problem continues. I want my money back!!

Disappointed!!!. Just downloaded the premium version this week and already disappointed. Hit the water this morning, expecting light wind and 0% chance of rain. Presently, I’m sitting in my truck, listening the rain pound my truck and the wind whistling by. Not good!!!

Location. I find it a little confusing to change locations. Other than that it’s accurate

Do not trust “fish activity”. It’s good as weather app but everything else questionable. Fish activity cycle almost perfectly matched to lunar cycle ie it shows high activity despite gusty wind and huge waves. Waves are much worse than showed by app.

Acurate tide is all i need this got it im happy. Nice app really handy and i just use the moon ativity and tide meter to fish the map is handy too but not updated, i use the map to see the structure by the waters where ever im fishing pretty cool app

Buggy. I would love to use this app but it is so buggy and sometimes won’t open at all. It may just be my phone but I wish there was a fix. Overall an amazing and helpful app when it works.

Don’t bother. You’ve got to enter your full name and email before you even get to the screen that says you have to pay to use anything. Sorry, I’m not signing up for your “subscription” without knowing how the f’n app even works. Pretty sleezy.

KoOlina Bottom Fishing. Drifted from 30ft-220ft depth several times. Holed up lots of inedible reef fish in shallower ares, but caught the worthwhile fish (papio and nabeta) around 60-90 ft. Lots of fun.

Not too accurate. I done went fishing right when it says it’s the best time to fish at the peak hour and didn’t catch a thing. Not sure if it was relating to a particular type of fish or what. Will try again because as of now this was $30 wasted.

Fishing. Works perfectly everything I needed trolling at very very low speed MPH is not perfect but works well enough I would recommend this app

No cancel instructions. It’d be nice if there were cancel instructions since you allow a 7day free trial... if canceled after the 7 days. Is that how you’re able to charge folks, by not telling them how to cancel or unsubscribe from the apps service? Still hoping to find instructions before I’m charged 😒

Count on it. This fishing app is pretty darn amazing. It’s spot on 95% of the time. I live in Gulf Shores and we always use it if we’re even thinking about going fishing 👍

Good but could be better. Overall a good platform but can’t understand where they get the sea conditions. They are off by a lot!

App keeps closing and will not open. I have premium membership and when I click on the app it will attempt to open for about to 15 seconds then closes. I cannot access the app. I attempted to delete the app and download it again. It does the same thing

It’s alright. I like this app because of the map and waypoints but idk how I feel about the fishing activity ability it seems fake

Great just make it easier. Excellent app but needs to be more user-friendly an idiot proof. Not everyone is Magellan.

Catch Log. I think this is the only app that logs your catch location, wind speed, tide, and time.

Subscription cancellation doesn’t cancel!!!. I used the 7 day free trial and canceled it after only using it for a day, and apple still charged me!!! Do not use this app if you don’t plan on having to pay after the trial is finished. I would like a refund.

Awesome!!. So far this app has helped me plan 3 fishing trips and discover a pond about 10 miles from my house that I never knew existed. I’m thoroughly impressed with this app

Fishing points. So far it seems great. Have not tested out on the water. But we live at the water’s edge.

Wild life/ game management. I was wondering how do you get wildlife/game management boundaries on your map. A friend of mine has it on his, and I can’t figure it out.

Fishing. I am an new boat owner in the PNW. I love fishing on the piglet sound. This app is wonderful, with the information it gives me.

same cycle. Every two weeks it’s the same cycle going from high fish activity to low fish activity. Why? Also, the water levels for tides are way off.

Won’t let me family share with husband. This app is great but the family sharing option is not good. My husband uses this app more than me.

No chart storage!. Unless you have cell coverage there is no chart data displayed. It’s not downloaded and stored locally - therefore not available once you are more than a few miles offshore. Worthless to me or anyone wanting something not dependent on cell coverage

Solid. Got this app to use as a second speedometer on the boat while trolling. Works well and speed is accurate. Added bonus is the tide chart which I use often.

Not to good. You can’t really do anything without the premium pass not worth it.

Updates. Now we have a complete fishing app. Thanks for the updates.

My go to. I surf fish almost every day and this ap is my go to source for weather and water activity.

No nautical location!. This use to be a great app. I have used it for years, but now the ability to see location on the nautical map is no longer available making the app useless.

Ok. I am starting to think this app puts out random information about the fish activity because I clicked on random locations around the world and the fish activity was similar or exactly the same. Other than that it is a pretty good app
