EWA English Language Learning Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Too easy. When you are going through the initial set up of your account, they ask you lots of questions which makes you feel like the content you were going to get access to his tailor-made to what your level has and what your goals are. Unfortunately, after I upgraded to the $15 per month whatever… I was only given access to a bunch of beginner courses. I sent them a message two days ago to see how I can be switched up to a more challenging level of difficulty so that the exercises will actually be worth my time. I’ve yet to hear anything back. As of right now, I have spent about 20 minutes going through pretty simple exercises to teach me very very basic things like how to say “me “ “you” or them or us. Awaiting support….

so far so good. im excited to use this app. i wish there were more movie scenes than just one chapter, and some translations of words aren’t exactly accurate, but overall it’s got so much content and when you are bored of learning one way, there’s a bunch of other options to switch over to. you can play games and compete, use flash cards, but most importantly, you can LISTEN and practice that way, which i feel is missing when you buy a textbook. it’s easier to feel comfortable speaking after using this!

Impressed. Wow this makes learning interesting. They have lessons where u learn the vocabulary word, how to spell it and use it in a movie clip. The movie clips are from series, movies and tv shows( Marvel, Fríe es, Velvet, Disney). It makes it fun and easy to remember. They also have games. You can read a book and have it read to you. Audio and visual learning makes it more understandable. The best way to learn another language with out it seeming like hard work! Get this app Trust me!

Promising but maybe not worth subscription. Let me start off by saying I love the concept of the courses and really appreciate the books. Love that they have my favorites: Pride and Prejudice, and Jane Eyre. I’m surprisingly making good progress with The Little Prince. I’m learning French and even though I said I’m intermediate, the courses are all for beginners; subjects cover basic greetings, colors, numbers, days of the week… things any intermediate and advanced learner already knows. I clicked advance in my settings and saw none of the courses changed. I recommend Duolingo for a challenge. The only reason I’m not asking for my money back is because the books may be worth it.

Better than LingQ. EWA does what LingQ does and more for free. You only have to pay to get rid of ads if you want to, but the free version is already an amazing resource to learn how to read. You can click on a word to translate and save a notecard of a word. You can also drag your finger over an entire sentence to get the whole translation. You should definitely get this app if you want to learn or improve your reading comprehension

Almost there. The app is cool because it allows you to read stories in different languages while being able to tap on different words that you don’t know to get their meanings. One of the issues I have with the app, however, is that the flashcards feature which allows you to save words from your reading that you would like to learn. The saving words part works fine. The problem lies in the fact when you open the card it pronounces the word using text-to-speech. The problem is that the app didn’t pronounce the words correctly for me. (I tried this using French).

VERY PROUD CUSTOMER. I have found this app really useful in its ability to help me expand my Spanish vocabulary. The option to highlight a word Im unfamiliar with simply by tapping it to reveal its list of that word in english is so simple and efficient. All i have to do is tap the screen and im back to listening and or reading again. If your stuggling with a majority of the paragraph, simply tap the G icon to the top right of the paragraph, and the entire paragraph is translated to english. I find this very usefull for the more difficult reads. The only reason its not a 5 star is its lack of definitions for the words. But no big deal, i can always have my ipad open to look for definitons. I’m grateful for this app and will recommend to friends who are looking to learn to speak and read j. Another language.

Great but slow. This is a great app with a lot of potential, but regardless of my internet connection it’s very slow to load everything. Choosing a book takes forever to load. Highlighting a phrase for translation takes 5 to 10 seconds; which doesn’t seem like a lot but becomes arduous when you just want a quick one word definition. Also, it seems someone changed the definition of the word ‘se’ to ‘commits suicide’ lol Otherwise, I really like the app!

Problems with books. Maybe the beginners’ lessons are OK, but the books are of limited usefulness. The selection appears to be limited to public domain works (including scanning errors) and, at least for the easy books, consists mainly of translated English and French stories and books. As others have said, the pop-up translations are very often wrong, useless, or absent for the very words where they are most needed. I have to look them up on Google Translate or DeepL. So all in all, I may as well just choose some available texts and go through them using one of those tools. It’s a good idea, but needs more work. Why not just link each sentence to DeepL, or to the original English sentence?

Great app. Thoroughly enjoying the app. Started out using their stories on the app - I studied French in high school and was able to jump into some sherlock holmes short stories with the accompanying narration pretty easily. The nice thing about the stories they have in the app is they have google translate enabled to translate whole paragraphs/ phrases. The individual word translation leaves a little to be desired, as sometimes a combination of three or four words makes up a phrase/saying and the individual word translations do not convey the true meaning. This is the issue when you upload an EPUB file format of a book. I am doing the french version of harry potter and listening to the audiobook on audible at the same time. It allows me to translate individual words but not full phrases, so I feel like occasionally I am missing some implied meanings. Still gave the app 5 stars but it would be nice to integrate google translate a bit more to be able to capture and translate more than one consecutive word at a time.

Improving, going to be great. This app is going to be great, I think it needs a little refinement but it’s definitely going to be a contender with Duolingo. I like how it has links to stories that you can read within the app, however I have noticed that when you click on the translations for words within the stories they’re not always correct. I’ve also noticed a sometimes the conjugations, and translations aren’t always correct during the regular exercises, but I’m sure they’re ironing out these issues. This is going to be a great learning app. A little expensive right now for not having everything ironed out but I think once they get the kinks fixed it’ll be worth the price no doubt.

Not appropriate for kids, no reinforcement. This is not appropriate for kids (or even for a mom like myself). There are space aliens in lingerie/underwear, and people naked under the covers after obviously having sex in the movie clips. And that’s not even with the “show adult content” button and selecting that you are under 18! The lessons are generally good, however, there’s little room fo reinforcement of what you have learned later on. Wonderful idea, fun clips (besides the inappropriate ones, that was awkward when my son looked at my screen), but… needs progress and a way where you see what you’ve learned integrated into new lessons. Also, movie clips do not adjust enough to the age you put. Between ages “under 18” and the age range of 30’s, there’s no difference between the movie clips, which I find it not advanced or comprehensive enough for a whole $15/month.

Important Trajectory Corrections. Dear EWA, I APPRECIATE the pop culture video visuals, (truly, I do), but as a newly paying customer, and a linguist, I would say that the literal interpretation and impression is more important than ONLY USING A General idea translation. I have yet to see that “Au revoir” technically means “Until I see you again” for example. (For the record, when you see an all-caps word from me, it is not indicating anger, but passion and emphasis). Also, one important way that those who see AND hear naturally learn is by listening AND a certain, natural, undeniable amount of lip-reading. If the video used is only a dubbed version and not using native speakers, the lip movements will not be accurate, so please shorten the gap between dubbed movies vs. native movies. It would make the most sense. French cinema is replete with options, since it is pretty vast. Mind you it ought to be kept family friendly… Also, (?) we need to be able to disagree with an “incorrect” answer when your questions and answers are a little faulty. Duolingo has that capability. Please improve these things. God bless, and Merry Christmas. Also, I personally don’t appreciate the woke video indicating two mothers for one child. Mismatched dubs are particularly noticeable and disturbingly distracting when I am trying to have a seamless learning experience. Again, thank you for everything! Also, you need more languages here.

Not for young audiences. Starting out, this app asked what your age category is. I chose under 18, since I was checking out the app for my kids to practice their Spanish. I was very interested in the interactive reading and media usage. However I was greatly disappointed that the media clips used even in the first couple levels had clips from movie scenes for mature audiences, likely rated R movies. I’m so glad I decided to screen this app before handing it to my kids! One scene had two supposedly nude people on top of each other (no body parts shown, but intimacy is implied), and another scene were a couple under the bedsheets together (nudity under the sheets is implied). Obviously not ok for children. There should not be an “under 18” category if these are the types of clips used. I don’t even appreciate them as an adult. Also, I tried looking through the books, wondering if that was salvageable. I’m a fluent Spanish speaker. Nope. It mis-translated words in the first chapter I read! The book used the word “tardar” which was translated as “take” or “learn”, but it means “to tardy”, and it’s obvious from the context it was incorrect, too. I’m greatly disappointed, and I’m grateful that they offered a free trial. I won’t be using this service. Loved the concept, but poorly executed and misleading.

Hmm. I originally paid for the subscription on this app because of it speaking video courses. It’s an effective/fun way to learn but with the recent update, I’ve noticed there’s only speaking video clips with movie/show scenes etc, on the Beginner+ section and the Grammar section. The rest of the courses are basically vocabulary, which is fine but it’s kind of repetitive and I know most of them from the Duolingo app. I’m taking off 2 stars for that reason. Nonetheless, it’s a good app especially for beginners and there’s a plethora of books and two mini games.

Apparently only basic levels of Spanish are offered.. I finished the basic level for the Spanish course and was very disappointed to discover that the VERY basics is as far as it goes. Thinking I must be mistaken, I reached out to support several times over the course of the past week. I have received no reply. It's a shame - I was actually enjoying the app for the most part. Visually speaking it is very well designed and interface is intuitive. That said, the beginner level is actually less extensive that what you get from Duolingo for free. I know this because I have completed the entire Duolingo Spanish course. The library feature is pretty cool but it alone is not worth the cost, imo. I can't speak about the other language offerings but if you are wanting to learn Spanish beyond beginner level, maybe pass on this app. I hate leaving negative reviews and rarely do. If it were a $10 app, I would have just moved on. But a hundo is a hundo and this is not a hundo level offering. I'll will of course revise this review should it turn out that I have been mistaken and the issue can be fixed with the help of support. Otherwise I would recommend Spanish learners take a hard pass on this one until the course is more robust and meaningful. Sorry.

Great potential. This app has great potential. I think the vocabulary lessons are very effective. The books would be better if you could slow the narrator down. I have been reading by myself first and then repeating with the narrator. The thing I find the most frustrating is that many of the words are not underlined, and therefore you cannot get a definition. In my case these were usually the words I didn’t know. And I it would be great if, once defined, you could ask for the declination (not sure that’s the right term) of the verbs to see all the tenses. And one more thing: it’s most important to translate entire phrases that have a different meaning than the individual literal translation of the words. For example, in English, “get off my back” rarely means someone is on your back; it means “stop bothering me.”

Amazing idea with lots of flaws. I was excited about this app to keep up my fluent Spanish. It asked me up front what my level was and I thought it would customize the experience towards that level. I decided not to pay for the app as I wanted to try it first. The app doesn’t seem to have any functionality for more advanced speakers in the reading section. The games and the vocabulary are very very basic and there is no way to test out of them and get more applicable content. Also, I agree with other peoples reviews, the pop up translations are lazy and bad. I’m really glad I didn’t pay for this app and I tried it out first!

Great app.. for a little while. I was having a great time using this app and I was using it everyday and I got to level 7 (for reference, I was learning French) and I was like ok cool next and the app prompted me to use 30 energy which was strange because the other levels I could just use and whatnot, but I shrugged it off until I got to the next level which also prompted me to use 30 energy which was kind of frustrating but again whatever, until I left the lesson to go check out the books, and when I left, the lessons I just completed were grey meaning I couldn’t click on them without subscribing for about $27 a month which yea it’s not that much but I’m a student at a university and I don’t have extra money to just throw down for an app that wont let me progress to a certain level. I wish that the levels I used energy for would at least stay so I could go back to them. But sadly no. In the next update PLEASE let users keep the levels they are on so they can go back without having to repeat the same lesson over and over again. And if you can’t do that at least lower the monthly price or have a lower price for students.

Extremely Effective. As an Special Education, ESL, and English Teacher, I am always seeking more education. I’ve used a few apps to try to learn new languages and brush up on the ones I already know. This is, hands-down, the most effective. It allows users to choose their learning style and this is a technique that is rarely seen in Education apps; but is extremely important. Every learner applies new information in a different way and when that information is available in fun, unique formats, it adds so much more value to the content. This is an A+ from me!

So much potential!. When I first downloaded this app, I was so excited because I think this is a really cool way to learn Spanish and I think it will actually help me. For the past two days, I've been learning vocabulary and exploring the app and there are a lot of concerns I have. I know there is maintenance going on with some features in the app, but I still wanted to bring up issues just in case they were overlooked. For one, some of the translations on the example sentences for new words don't match up. 2, I wish that the vocab words were pronounced with every translation question instead of every other question (or maybe add a button to hear the word's pronunciation). 3, when I clicked on a book to read and pressed to learn the vocabulary that I will see, every Spanish word is butchered with an English reading and I thought this was important to mention. I haven't clicked and experienced everything but these are some of the issues I had so far. I really love this app and it has a lot of potential. I think if done right, this app can help SOO many people and get great reviews. The yearly payment will have been worth it.

Introduction is time walled, images are unhelpful, learning concept is flawed.. Downloaded this app on the hopes it might be any use. Tried a vocabulary lesson. Straight into spelling words. Here is a news flash for all the big brains that decided how to teach a language. No child acquired a language by knowing how to spell in it. The images provided for nouns being pronounced did not include the actual subject, what are you trying to teach? Here is another obvious but ignored fact about language learning: While the alphabet is the same in western languages many of the letters and the letter combinations representing word sounds in one language are not the same in another. So maybe you bright guys could focus on teaching comprehension and pronunciation before trying to get an overloaded brain to decipher several levels of symbolism that does not match 8 years reading training in persons native language. This system of teaching is just as bad as any I have seen and you will probably not learn to speak your language or even make any real progress. But it is hard to tell because when I tried the book read along and tried to go back to translate a few words it left the book and time blocked me before I got anywhere.

Funny and Familiar. I’ve been using this less than a week so I’ll let you know about the results later. But so far it’s great! I feel like my friend is telling me about different ways to use the words and phrases using popular shows. It’s funny to learn how to learn basic words like Hola come from shows like Breaking Bad. I also like that it’s familiar material. All my favorite shows are helping me learn Spanish. I would definitely try it. And I’ll give you an update as I go on.

Excellent app for studying English!. Although I am a busy person, I always want to read some English books some time in order to gain more knowledge. But every time when I grab a book I feel distract because it’s not my first language. Now I feel satisfy with this app because not only it can translate to my language(Vietnamese), I can listening to it while I am on the way. So I can take advantage of it listening to the book without boring at all. Thank you so much for creating this app. I really enjoy it.

Paid only. I saw an ad on Instagram that led me to believe this app was free to use or had a free version. Well, it doesn't cost anything to download it. But the free part ends there as far as I can tell. There's a chat when you get started that checks to see what your weaknesses are, then they give you the option of picking which subscription you want and has no way to move forward until you pick your subscription. So I deleted the app, but now they have my email address to send me spam or sell to email lists. I guess it's a good app if you have extra money lying around to pay for the use of it.

Fun program!. I like this app a lot. I waited and got a year subscription for Black Friday and have not looked back! The only thing I wish was different is that they would incorporate what you learned from the last milestone into the next, so that you can keep it fresh in your memory and add to each thing you learn. Otherwise, I feel like I’m restarting each time, and have to go back and review info I already covered over and over.

Still needs improvement. I’ve just started using this app. I really like the idea but there’s still a lot work for you, guys! The translations in books or other sections aren’t always correct or there’s no translation at all. Learning with this app can lead to mistakes. Be careful when using it and double check translation with an external translator whenever you doubt. But, there’s a lot of potential, the support does a great job and they indeed want to improve! I keep using it for now to see where it goes. Keep it up!

False Advertising. I lived in Colombia for two years and came to speak Spanish fluently. I downloaded and bought the app because I was led to think it would help me increase me fluency even more and brush up on lost idiomatic phrases l, etc. I was told (as I answered their questions to show my level of spanish) that they had a learning experience tailored to my level of ability. I get to the app and, to my great dismay, they start me at level 0, a beginning Spanish speaker. Theu sure reeled me on. I paid a fair chunk of money for this app hoping for good language training (seeing how they used video clips to teach) but it turns out, the training is essentially as good as Duo Lingo, a free language learning app. Very disappointed.

What a cool app!. I think sometimes the translation is a little off especially when it comes to he/she pronouns and things like that but I seriously enjoyed this app and how cool is it to read a book..much less in another language while easily being able to see the translation after you challenged yourself to translate and while simultaneously learning! I wish I could afford a year membership but sadly…that’ll come at another point

Awesome idea, still buggy content.. I’m reading along with the audio for a book in the app’s library, but I have no idea what the audio is reading. It doesn’t match up at all with the book! I wish more words were in the dictionary. Often I have to open another app or website to look up these words, which kind of defeats the purpose of this app. I also keep seeing reference to movie and tv clips, but I don’t see this at all! I just see some super elementary courses, two games, and a reading library. I tried contacting support through the app, but this feature didn’t work. I hope this app continues to develop and fix bugs. It could be a phenomenal language learning tool that I also think could be used in the Spanish program in the school I teach in. I teach Chinese and I’m learning Japanese, so I’d love to see those languages added, but I think the first priority is to work out the bugs for the app that exists before expanding.

Nice one. I think the whole idea is awesome. For people like me who are in prohibited countries such as Iran, it’s not possible to use the app in full version. And I can get benefit of the app just for 3 limited days.😔 I think there should a solution to the problem. As an instance, accessing the basic features of the app can be the answer. Or recommending the app through invite link and giving access to those who invite for example 10 people can be useful for all. Thank you very much.🍀

Learn spanish in terms of Japanese?! I learn 10x faster with two languages.. Learning a new language in terms of another foreign language that you need to improve is a secret to accelerating your acquisition of the new language. It forces your brain to work much harder because there is no info on screen (like subtitles) that allow your brain to “short-circuit the translation” to save energy. Your brain has no easy way out: it must consistently reinforce new pathways. This interlinks the two new languages, but at a deeper level than when learning one new language from English. Definitely worth the $99 per year.

A necessity. While I have a decent understanding of Spanish that is spoken to me, I have difficulties communicating back. This app has absolutely everything you need to refresh and become fluent in any language. You can read books and click on any words you don’t understand. Then you can check your accuracy with the English version paragrah by paragraph. I am amazed. This gives me the confidence to continue my language learning journey.

Great Idea but Needs work. I tried out the free trial and love the idea of learning a new language while reading some of my favorite classics. But still I had to have Google translate open to help me out. Some of the vocabulary translations made no sense in the context of the sentence and when double checked with Google translate, I realized the definition was wrong or the word could be translated that way but not in this context. I also was hoping every word would be available to tap on for vocabulary but some significant and confusing words were not available as vocabulary. I definitely would not pay for a subscription for this until the tweaks get fixed. Lots of potential in this program it’s just not there yet.

Better than Rosetta Stone!!!!. I love it!!!! I have had Rosetta Stone for years as a matter of a fact since the first came out. I have learned and retained more new words in a few days than I have since I have Rosetta Stone. I love how they take movies that we all have seen and love in which makes it so easy to relate to actins and tones. I can’t say enough about it. The conversation are real conversation. They teach the variations of Spanish it just great all together. I love how when you read the books you can select the word and find out it’s meaning. When you go to the book section it well organized you can select from beginners or immediate, gene. The games the have are so much fun it helps you with spelling and you even have a game where you play with people all over. Again I can go on and on about this app!!!! I definitely found it well worth the money!!!

Fun and functional. I have tried a lot of apps, to avoid taking more Spanish classes, but this one is my favorite. I already have foundational Spanish skills from hs and college but rarely use them. In my new job, I will need to, so I needed to brush up on it. I love that this app lets me skip over things I already know and pick and choose where to start. Most other apps make you follow a path THEY set, and it’s never worked for me. The only thing is the price. It’s a little high, but I’m sure I will get my money’s worth if I continue using it daily.

A good start, but lacks many definitions.. This app is potentially wonderful, especially because as I read a story I can immediately look up the definition of a word I don’t remember or know. However, this app does not have a complete dictionary. Most of the words I don’t know are not available with an easy definition. That’s the main reason I bought the app. Nonetheless, it’s very helpful. Still requires dedication to bring yourself to it every day. One thing I have found useful is to play the audio of the story when I go to bed and as I thought asleep I’m surrounded by the Spanish language I’m learning. After a few nights of this I seem to be hearing the language better.

3 points to improve the site. It's good that there are games with real people! It is good that I have access to my previously learned words so I can see it and repeat! It is bad that: 1. There is no proper work with new learned words - there are no examples with them : phrases and sentences with them. Therefore, after a few days, the learned words are easily forgotten 2. The indicator of learned words (there are also another two indicates: the lessons learned, pages read), does not work correctly. -always I see "0" , although I learned a lot of new words. 3. Crossword puzzles often use the same words, their set is really small; it is necessary to add more different words in crossword puzzles, because interest is lost. Thank you for Good work!

Not going to work for me. First, I can’t even find the movie Heroes part after I chose to start with books. I realize I don’t know enough Spanish to read many words at all so I have to click on almost every word. I tried the vocabulary part. But it looks like it’s just a test to see how much you know. And it says “Feliz” means “lucky” even though google, duo lingo and the feliz navidad song all say it means “happy” I don’t trust the translations and I don’t see any books that interest me anyway. I’m more of a mystery, Stephen king fan when it comes to books. I also am not a fan of not being able to do much at all without a bunch of energy points. Duo lingo is way better in that they allow you to practice all the time on the free version without waiting for hearts or energy.

A great tool!. It’s super great for learning and it’s for free! You do need to watch an ad before each lesson but they are short and in my opinion well worth the trade off. They have book at all different levels of fluency though I do wish to see in the near future some books with an easier fluency, for people just started out. If you are advanced or fluent there are also books for your levels. You can also press on words you don’t know to get their definition and you can also add them to your vocabulary of list of learning. But they also have vocab lessons and fun games to practice. You should check it out if you are looking for something free and to learn or even just improve your Spanish .

I love this app very much but I don’t see my language. I love this app but I am South Indian and I was searching for Tamil or Telugu as a native language to select but it is hard for me since there is very limited option and I am forced to choose some other language just to get inside the app to see all the features and it’s hard for me to read. It would be better to have an option to select English so that it will help people who knows English but also wanted to improve their vocabulary and so on. Hope you get that option for fellow people like us. Thank you

Amazing concept. Terrible execution. I want nothing more than to rave about this app, but unfortunately, despite having purchased a year long sub package, I have been unable to use it for more than 2 hours total in the 6 weeks Ive had access to it. Shortly (or more frequently immediately) after opening the app and trying to navigate ANYWHERE, I get kicked to the page asking me which sub package I would like to sign up for to use the 3 day free trial. I bought the year package back in mid June. I have tried submitting a ticket, however, the app will not let me send the report and gives me a message that “the team is aware of the issue and is already working on it”. I fail to see how that is possible, seeing as I haven’t been able to send the ticket in the first place. I was then prompted to give a review, and sent in details regarding my issue and not only has the issue not been fixed, I haven’t so much as been contacted by anyone that the issue is even being addressed. Mind you, I am not using the free trial. I paid $100 for a year. My hope is that SOMEONE will get back to me about this issue so I can actually USE the product that I have PAID for, but I am running out of patience. For what its worth, the little I have been able to use the app, I was extremely pleased and impressed with the product. It has the potential to be an incredible learning tool….IF I EVER GET THE CHANCE TO ACTUALLY USE IT

It’s great, but it doesn’t let you change the dialect. As you know there are many dialects of Spanish. This app is AWESOME the way it is set up. As I was using it, I realized that it was very different from the Spanish my boyfriends family speaks (his family is from Mexico)... and I don’t want to learn a different dialect because the reason I’m learning is so I can communicate with them. So.. I still think this app is awesome, don’t get me wrong. But I have no clue what dialect these books are translated under, and it was really confusing reading them when what I already know is different from some of the vocabulary on this app. Unfortunately, I can’t use this app :/

A fun way to learn. A great app that has been steadily helping me improve my Spanish. The coursework videos are fun, disguises the repetition. The games are also good, just more repetitions but more fun. I’m adding the reading/audiobooks if you’re interested in chipping away at literature (Don Quixote). I wasn’t sure at first, but having bought this, I’ve found myself using it more often and I’ve found it to be a good value. If I continually practice with this app, it is worth more than I’ve paid.

My first couple days with the app…. I have used a good bit of language learning apps to continue learning Spanish. I speak Spanish pretty well, but there’s always more to learn! This app…within days…has been a game changer. The games are fun. The lessons are actually really in depth and informative despite only sharing a small amount of content at a time. And the catalogue of books available is just insane. I’ve been looking far and wide for a language learning app that can really help improve my reading, and this one answers all my prayers lol Use it! Pay for it! It’s worth it!

Nice app to read books in other language. I love the ability to read books in another language. However, the pronunciation of the words is incorrect. The learn words option is impossible to do because the pronunciation is completely incorrect. I’m trying to read along with the French but the learn feature playback is in English and therefore pronunciation is wrong. The voice that reads the audio books however pronounced correctly

Terrible app, good library. I tried the app free, and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the lessons. The “lessons” are pretty much just a single word repeated a several times, and each lesson takes “energy” to unlock. The catch is that the energy takes several hours to accumulate, and unlike duolingo, these points can’t be unlocked by practicing, which makes the app practically impossible to learn from without the paid version. I can pretty much only do two, maybe three lessons a day, and even if I instantly retained the information in each lesson, it would take me 18 years to learn 20,000 words, the active vocabulary of the average English speaker. The only thing salvagable in this app is the library, which has several books in each target language. Even still, however, the translations are often very inaccurate, forcing me to use a dictionary from a different app to understand new words. It also irritated me that even though it asks for your language level, the lessons don’t actually change if you select intermediate/advanced, meaning that more experienced language learners have to trudge through the greetings and beginner phrases before being able to get into the good stuff. All and all, the app was a pretty good idea, but very poorly executed.

Not a credible resource. This has SO much potential to be incredibly powerful, but it seems like they went for quantity over quality of content. Yes, there’s 1000s of books, but the translations aren’t quite right. A lot of easier books are meant to include pictures that are essential to comprehensions and those have all been omitted. The tool to look up individual words often gives different definitions than what’s being used in the context of the sentence and it doesn’t make sense. The app seems like a good idea (and is!) but it’s poorly executed. If more care was taken to develop fewer resources at a higher level, this could easily deserve 5 stars. I’m excited to see how it improves over the next few years.

3 days trial?!. I had high hopes for this, but I uninstalled after the screen asking me to choose a subscription plan. 3 days trial??? Seriously? How can I know if this is working for me in only 3 days, that’s ridiculous. Chances are I’d just forget to cancel and get charged for an app I’m not using. Also, it asked me what my native language is in the beginning, and I couldn’t select two. Then it proceeded to talk to me in the language I selected, without asking if that’s my preference. I’m comfortable enough with English to prefer it for app interfaces, even though it’s not my native language. AFAIK this is pretty common with folks living abroad and speaking English regularly, or even many folks that live in the lie home country and just use English a lot. I had to go back and start over and then LIE by saying my native language is English to get it to talk to me in English!

Love this app. I hope to see more books added to this app that include more diverse genres but I know apps grow everyday and I will happily wait for updates. I used to pay for Duolingo and it was alright but I have learned so much more in this app. I think they take a different approach as to how they introduce words and at least for the way my brain thinks it works much better. If you have trouble with other learning apps give this one a try. I love it so much I pay the subscription since I am actively trying to learn another language to go out of the country.

Persian/ farsi language. Hi, My native language is persian/ farsi I would like to use your app to improve my english but I can’t choose my native language as you don’t have it in your list. Is it possible for you to put persian/ farsi in your list please? So I can use your app same as other people Many thanks 😊

Very interesting. I’m doing intermediate English from German, but I’m actually learning German. It’s harder but I’m enjoying it and persevering. Will let you know later how it goes!

Congratulations. Nice app for learning English thank a lot.

Great. Just started learning, great so far

Good to learn with ewa.. Good design to learning from ewa, is very delightful. So subscribe it, and you will get the best results from ewa.

Very good,. It's good to learn English with movies, because is more easy to learned that form.

First impressions. The general features are great: word definition and pronunciation, paragraph translation, audio option. But some of the translations are inaccurate or simply wrong.

Laugh out loud fun. This is what I’ve always needed to learn. Humour and engagement.

good app. before i think i pay for app but i can use free so grat best app learn for free <3 that app help everyone learn English perfect <3

Not worth the money. Have to constantly click on things to go through lesson, not able to leave a lesson ‘playing’ while driving or cleaning cause there’s no hand free options to learn. Annoying and slow.

Films. I learn the conversation from Films. Have more fun. I’m willing to practise more because it happens in different scenes.

Excellent. This app is just what I was looking for, I’ve improved my English level in the last two years

Good app.. This app is really addicting, which is really good for people who want to learn English language! Thank you for this app

worthless. The things u getting it’s different than the advertisement, don’t waste ur money and time. 3 day free is just a lie anyway they took ur money and no way to cancel it any time I tried to cancel Just says there is a problem will solve it out soon . Just rubbish, so disappointing app even 1 star is too much

It awesome. It really well for reading

Perfect app!!! A++++. I recon this app . Reading and memorizing excercises are awesome. But they have some translation mistakes. It needs update.

Nice app. Highly recommend

Good for you. It is a good for you learn, very practical

Fun & effective. Helps me to remember words better than other language programs because of the movie video clips that show hope tut vocabulary sounds in real life. The spelling activities also help me to memorise the words very quickly.

fantastic app. This app is very nice I'm learning a lot I recommend it to everyone

There’s no Space for MYANMAR?. The app looks good but I can’t use it even at the pre-sign in😬😒🤨. Coz it totally do not apply for Burmese Language 🥴👎👎🏼👎🏾. So I Like to suggest that you should open it up for Myanmar to learn English and other languages from your App😑!

I demand a refund.. I have cancelled my subscription. Why is my money still deducted? I ask for a refund.

I like it. Great reading app. It shows every word’s meaning and punctuation help you improve lots including words and listening. Highly recommended!

Really good. Awesome. The method helps me to learn English and remember vocabulary better than other ones. Thank you so much.

Scam. This is a scam. It asks for all your personal information and then you can only use if you subscribe for it to charge your card after 3 days. Scam.

Can I speak with a real person?….. The AI who “spoke” with me to set up my account would only let me select English to learn. I am a native English speaker who was hoping to read the classics in German. That option was not given to me by the AI who insisted the only language they had available to learn was English. If I had have been able to talk to an actual person, I’m certain my account would have been set up properly.

Could you please recheck for my refunding. This application cut my money 2 times for subscribe without permission. Then I asked for refunding. The system shown me they already refunded money to me but I did’t get any my money back. Could you please recheck for me again.

Interesting and interactive app. Love the movie learning. Fun to learn!

Thank u. Thank u so much Really like this program Make my English better.

Good app.. A very good app indeed. Lets you learn at your own pace, strengthen your lessons and is surely an amazing platform to learn a new language.

Great experience!. Extremely helpful! It’s a fun way to study and improve your English. Truly recommend!

Perfect. Very easy to use.

Refreshing and fun way to learn languages.. I’ve tried various other apps and although the price is more than most, the content is great. It’s probably best for those learning English rather than having dubbed videos learning Spanish, but I still enjoy the clips because they help to associate context. The books are also great. Well done to the devs, you have a new subscriber.

Extraordinarily expensive!. For a simple language learning app the subscription model is extraordinarily expensive on all levels.

Great app. Really interactive so far! Funny and engaging. Can’t wait to learn more!!

Amazing app. The best app to learn English EVER!!!!!! I love it, So complete, you can also read books, articles and even listen to them, it's fantastic!

Translation of the words. My main interest of use it is because I like to read. I started for the most basic book and Honestly I was expecting more about this app, the translation of many of words is incorrect, too poor.

It is a good app to spend time and would guide you in a smooth way. Thanks

Excellent app. You can learn Bengal easy and with fun.

Miss. Excellent app for learning and improved English language skills for better life . Thanks

I need my money back. Hello, I unsubscribed in third day and you charged the amount on my card in the same way. Please I need my money back and I need the answers because you don’t answered my messages. Thank you

English lessons. I’m so happy having you.

It’s not free!deleted immediately after downloaded!. When you choose to install this app you would never know they will charge you 150 one day. You don’t need to reply me definitely loge a complaint.

Very broad app!. This app has reading and lessons from recognisable movie skits ! Perfect all rounder

Spanish. My Spanish is picking up since I started using the app, I just started and I could say an sentence.. my fiancée who lives in Mexico is really proud of me and soon we can speak Spanish with each other.. it would be cool as I can talk to my mother in law and other members of his family as they can not talk English.. so I give the app 5 stairs..

One of the best language learning apps. This is one of the best apps to learn language, it has not just lessons but stories, and lots of useful features. In my opinion well worth the subscription.

A good concept but.... It’s a good concept with a few flaws. Firstly, the “courses” are just lists of words based on categories. I wouldn’t really call that a course. Also I don’t really see the point of have short dubbed video clips saying the word or phrase you want to learn. Totally pointless. I like the book and article reading with the translation and being able to sort from easy to hard. I think the app is a little expensive for what it is.

Review. It doesn’t let me use it until I’ve left a review despite having paid for a subscription.

The best one. I’m learning English and this app made me improve my English very well I love it

The reading section.. I love this App because there i can do translate immediately just click on the words which is i don’t know. That’s very helpful. But one thing i need to comment that There is a lots of easy words that the app provide for translating ( ex: he,she, in, but, out, eles) which is we not need. but for a lot of difficult words are not get provide the translator. If the App can improve this then it will be more helpful. Thank you.

At My Own Pace. I really enjoy this app! I’m learning at my own pace how to use helpful phrases and exactly what the words should sound with examples of when & how I’d use the phrase. The examples are fun and snips from shows, memes, movie stars which helps enforce my learning. I’d recommend this app and enjoying the free feature before I commit to a subscription.

The Best App Available!!!. This may be the best app in the App Store yet. I do not write many reviews, but I had to for EWA. I cannot get over how thoughtful this app is. From the memorable and funny clips to the statistics, reading, games. There is not one piece of fluff. I have only used this app for a short time and yet I already feel more confident speaking Spanish. REAL PURPOSEFUL LEARNING. Bravo!!!!! Can only imagine where this app can go from here!

Only functions about half the time. I would really enjoy this app, if it worked on any consistent basis. It is just as likely that the translations won’t work as they do work. Sometimes they work for a few sentences and then they stop working. Most often they don’t work at all. The translations are utterly uncurated by a human, of course, and done by the stupidest bot available. So what you get is translations that are contrary to the text. A conversation between men and women, for example, is often translated randomly. So a man is talking but the translation makes it a woman. I have to go back to see if I missed something but, no, it’s just that the translation randomly put female in place of male. This makes language learning more difficult. I rarely pay for apps at the beginning but I was excited about this one. Waste of time and money. One frustrating use after another. Awful.

Part of my daily practice. I use Ewa and Duolingo both for daily practice. I enjoy the audio visual aspect of this app but the chat/texting commentary at the end is strange to me and not natural. I also wish they would update the vocabulary test more often. I seem to have the same words offered every day. I’ve only been using for a little over a week.

pretty good. pretty good app but it is very inconsistent with its help. It seems like every word may as well be underlined with a translation, because as an intermediate spanish speaker, i noticed words like muchacho will be underlined with a translation but certain difficult verbs will not be. that doesn’t seem to help the beginner nor the intermediate. the other advice would be to underline entire verb phrases rather than separating them. for example, “ha tenido” would be most helpfully explained as “has had to” rather than separate verb explanations.

Wanted to love this. Unfortunately the sound on the app isn’t working. So the test they gave me at the beginning I wasn’t able to complete. I took a vocabulary test and they told me I was intermediate and the first lesson offered (without working sound) was hola. I gave it 2 stars because the graphics are well done and the idea is good. It needs some fine tuning. Also it charged me twice for the same lesson. So I left the ridiculous Hola lesson and when I tried to go back in it charged me again. 😞

Such potential. This app has great potential. The software is good looking and not buggy and I’d love to learn Spanish by, let’s say, reading Harry Potter without having to consult my Spanish dictionary. But... the translations are simply wrong for some of these words. Seems pretty clear they are just using something like google translate, and it makes a lot of errors just looking at individual words (versus in the context of a sentence). It would be much better quality if someone (bilingual) proof-read the translation to fix errors. Otherwise it’s so inaccurate as to not be useful. Bummer.

Good app, needs more Italian. The Spanish is entertaining with video clips. I wish they had that in the Italian version! The Italian lessons (courses) are for beginners; and the wonderful library of stories is for the more advanced learners (even the “beginner” stories are still pretty advanced). As an advanced beginner (A2/B1) there isn’t a lot for me. I like that you can see the translation of each paragraph in the stories.

Thank you!. I like it best when it gives multiple definitions to give connotation. Sometimes definitions given within the text don’t seem to line up with the word used in the translation paragraphs. Some definitions altogether missing. I love that you can change the speed of audio reading. A few quirks to work out but in general this is great practice.

Really good app. This app helped me so much. I can write simple things to my pen pal from Mexico and i can understand a lot better without using Google Translate. The best part is, you don’t have to pay for it if you don’t want to. You can watch ads to unlock the levels and the games are really fun too.

Excellent idea, but.... The idea of this app is more than excellent, however, if I’m paying more than $99/year I would hope not find basic errors such as: the voice says something and the options say something completely different. Also, the “translation” in books are terrible. They are translating “literally” and not based on the context of the sentence. You need to improve this.

Video snippets are cool, but points take too long to recharge. Love the clips from different movies and shows that are well known. It’s almost like learning from a friend! On the negative tho, it takes a looooong time for your points to build back up. I think more points should be given or earned when completing a lesson correctly. Just a thought.

Funny way to learn. Surprisingly I am learned with these movie clips and in a realistic manner the phrases make sense that can stick with you. Now if only my friends can act out the other side of these movies I will be Golden! Also thanks for adding a manner (ads) to keep the learning going consistently and not like other apps where the free version contains 5 words a day.

Not as good as it could be. A lot of the books are in old-fashioned English and therefore the Spanish translation is harder than is helpful to an intermediate learner. But most frustrating is that many many words are not eligible for touch and translate. Yes I could look it up in the dictionary myself, butI specifically paid quite a lot of money to be able to just touch the word. Additionally the verb translations are not conjugated so you don’t really know what tense you are reading if you are not 100% familiar with the verb

Honest Review of Ewa. This app is well made and has plenty of book options as well as videos for the four learnable languages that it offers. I am reading a book in german and many of the pronunciations in the flash card review were just wrong, or it was perhaps in a dialect I’ve never heard. The app creator should definitely have a native speaker address this issue. Post script background: I’ve been learning german for 6 years and I thought that this app would keep my skills fresh and help with some vocabulary.

Please mark the gender for Spanish nouns. I use this app for learning Spanish. l really like the flash card function embedded in the reading app, which is great for learning new words. Please mark the gender case for the nouns. This is one of the tricky parts of Spanish. Current reading library is quite limited. Looking forward to its expansion. 4.5 stars

Honest Review Of EWA ❤️. It’s a great app with plenty of resources for language acquisition. In my time of learning about language learning movies and videos pointing out what is being conveyed helps. This app gives that option which many others don’t highlight. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for a good app to use.

Solidly different language app. Very useful. Has different functionality than any other app I’ve tried (6-7 of the top alternatives). Uses movie and show clips in lessons, along with humor, to show context. This is effective in ways that more gamefied apps are not. The library of books is nice too, but it would really help if all words were clickable, and if one could highlight and translate portions. Overall great app.

Great app to study English. I highly recommended this app to everyone one to study English specifically reading. I love the translation feature on the reading section (library). It allow me to look up a complex sentences in my first language in the same page which make reading English easier. I never feel more enjoyable reading English book , thanks for EWA!

One of the best language Learning apps but…. I really do think this is a great tool to learn a new Language and even better than Duolingo in some aspects. However, something that I think would really benefit new learners is maybe a feature that explains language/grammar rules and why they are correct. Everything else is pretty much great!

Nice opportunity to build reading skills. I’ve only been using the app for a week, at this point, I think the strength of the app for me is in the ability to practice reading a variety of classical and current books, of various difficulty levels. I appreciate the depth of available books available in print and audio format. Each book has the majority of its words hotlinked for translation, selecting phrases and sentences leads to translation of the section after a brief pause. Words can be selected for inclusion in a memory drill module. There are topical conversation lessons that push listening recognition and require one to complete parts of a phrase in writing. For that I use Babble, which appears much more developed in that approach. .

Ewa. I purchased Ewa to sharpen my Spanish and it is a fun and interactive way to learn a new language, especially if you enjoy or have read the listed books for translation. Once in a while I ran into a few errors as it pertains to proper translation but other than that this is a great resource for beginners, intermediate, & advanced learners as you can tailor your learning to meet your needs.

Great Books, Poor App Function. The variety of books is amazing! All my favorite classics that I’ve read in English are available, and I love it! Only complaint is the reader highlighting words going backward and it’s not even following what it’s reading aloud as it goes backward. Highlighted words are the always what it’s reading aloud. Ruins the moment when the app doesn’t function right

What happened to EWA?…. This used to be a great app without billions of ads and the opportunity to use it free now it automatically reverts back to the ads when you are trying to use for the trial period within the same play. Very $$$$$ please restore the old app, make it where you can pay with your iTunes card rather than a credit card so many language apps that are great are not as expensive as EWA and don’t require a credit card, Hope to come back someday, Preed Ps please don’t send me your computer generated response that you send to everyone else

Spanish Lessons and Books. I like this program. I thought it would be another one I would just opt out of after two days but I’m glad I was wrong. The lessons are made that you can work 10 minutes or 10 hours on your Spanish. I can already hear my improvements when I listen to the Pope speak. Thanks!

Excellent App to Learn Spanish. I really like this app and am learning a lot! Whoever came up with this learning concept is a genius. Whenever I’m lying awake in bed and can’t sleep late at night or upon waking up in the morning, I do a lesson or two. And the lessons stick in your head because of the way they present them using popular movies, etc. I’d recommend this app to anyone wishing to learn another language. It’s definitely helping me.

Excellent app. This app is perfect for all the levels, beginners and even if you want to improve professional skills. You can chose formalities, or informal words. Whatever you want depending on your goal. It’s up to you. I’ve been learning English more than ten years, the past two attending USA ESOL schools, and after 1 year and a half I’m officially upper intermediate (B2). I still learn a lot with EWA, not easy let me tell you. This is the best investment 👍🏼

I’m intrigued at the potential, needs more. I enrolled in the Spanish language with Ewa, and I have an advanced Spanish level. I was looking to this app to expand my vocabulary and help me familiarize myself with more advanced literature. While I’ve been able to do this through the book function, the learning lessons start all the way at the beginning. It would be helpful if you were placed in lessons that correlate with your skill level. If the lessons were to incorporate your Learn list it would be extra useful!

Appreciate Feedback. This app is outstanding for English learners in all steps. But a small suggestion if you could add the daily English exercise in workplace or some official area that would be sound great. Once again many thanks for creating such a nice software to make easy English language in an advance level. Appreciate it.

It’s good but.... I recently downloaded the app and I got my seven days trial, I really like this app but I found just one thing I don’t like, there is no way to rewind and sometimes I really need to listen again to the paragraph, so I have to go out and restart the book... please tell me that you will add this improvement to the app, I don’t mind spending $100 every year, but this detail is very important to me and it really bothers me because I need the app to practice listening. 🥺🥺

I like it so far. I’m new to this app and I’ve only had it for a few days now, but I quite enjoy using it so far. I can see it incorporating all of the different learning styles so anyone can understand lessons. The lessons themselves are a good length and fairly rewarding once completed, im excited to continue learning with this app.

Great app to start reading great books. I would like to thank you people who create this app. It is so huge work. The test to identify student’s level is very funny. The list of books which are available to read is impressive. I like re-play and pause options. I also use audio version of reading as well. Thank you

Love love love. So easy to keep going. Usually get really excited and will practice a few days but then just stop. Not with this app. I’m always entertained and loving it Repetition really helps everything stick! Going through the lessons right now but can’t wait to get to the point where I can just read the books on here! Lots of classics to look forward to!

Can you make one for another language?. I am a native English speaker. I downloaded this app and I really love the atmosphere but I was trying to reverse it to learn French. Can you guys make one for French, japanese, Russian, Ukrainian, German and Mandarin Chinese? The app interface is really good, but the only two languages I can see you teach are English and Spanish. Please let English speakers learn all the languages I listed above!! And more!! Again, great interface and setup!!

Super Fun AND Educational (Teachers check it out). As a former high school teacher (of English), I hope language teachers are able to use this app with their students. It’s funny, engaging and entertaining - all the things students seem to want in a teacher but we’re too overloaded with curriculum, administrative stuff, parents (no offense, parents), etc. to then have to create performances for everyday of the school year. Nonetheless, students deserve to be engaged. That’s when they learn best. And apps like this that can be at their level in terms of things like pop culture (instead of trying far too much to appease the adults) are what can do that. That said, I just started this so maybe it gets a little too risqué later. But so far so good.

The most real-life Spanish knowledge. I’ve never used an app or took a class that used so much conversational bits of language that aren’t just words but aren’t full long sentences, so it is really easy to pick up what you are given. It’s also so much more interesting and fun than traditional and other ways that I’ve studied

Level. You should really be a low level intermediate to use this program. I would consider myself a beginner intermediate, in other words I’m just getting through the beginning stages. I test well and did well on the placement but… I tested higher than my real ability so reading Edgar Allen Poe was too difficult for me. Most of the novels are above my head really and there is much less content for me than a true intermediate…..I’ll get there but it’s tough going….

One of the Top language Apps. Audiobooks, articles, ebooks, lessons all translated for you in your target language and great aids to learn. This app is what the other Apps are pretending to be. I use this app in tandem with the green bird(IYKYK) and it’s been great. This is top 3 language learning apps and it’s not 3. Download it pay for the subscription it’s worth it. They deserve it. They did the work and this is legit.

First lesson. I’m starting for the beginning even though Im an intermediate speaker. Compared to other apps I enjoy this one more so far. It’s more organic learning and they use movie clips.. long story short it feels more relatable and like I’m hanging at a friends house and everyone is teaching me. Once again, this is just my first lesson so not sure what’s in store

Ain’t going lie it worth the subscription. It’s so easy and fast to use on my down time when I’m not cleaning or busy with my kiddos or working ! I’m refreshing up on my Spanish since I do understand a little, I just need to practice again some more ! I like that it’s using different show/movies or little memes or clips to help you learn! Makes it fun! Def worth the year subscription! Thank you ❤️

EWA for Faster Learning. Highly recommended for anyone who wants instant feedback in their reading comprehension. I am rereading books I know in English in Spanish, so it’s easy to get the idea even though you’re not going to know every single word. The translation is decent. I only wish you could add any word to flash cards I didn’t understand. Can only currently add words that are highlighted. Otherwise this is a fabulous app that motivates you to read, and subsequently learn.

Awesome!. It’s a very nice app with a proven approach to learning. Full of authentic materials for being exposed to the language on a regular basis. The only drawback I see, and I need to say this is a rare one in the app, is that in the review section for the learning words, the pronunciation is in a wired English while I am learning French! In the reading section it’s fine, and I see no reason why the pronunciation isn’t all right while studying the flashcards!

Love the EWA app, some confusion with discount price. I bought this app subscription, mostly because I wanted to learn how to read boooks or just read in Spanish. It uses very short TV and Movie clips to learn the basics which I don't know so I am doing that before the books. Onlly issue I am working with support on is I was double billed after I choose to immediately update to 50% off yearly sub price after i initially choose 6 months sub, so still working on getting that resolved.

Onboarding Mistakes. I have no idea how good this app is because I never got to use it. It made me sign up for a subscription (with a three day trial - 3 days! That’s too short) before I could even see anything. And then! I when I was willing to try that, it locked me into a buy a year screen with no way out! I honestly might have bought the year. I just wanted to see if it was worth it first! It was a good deal and I didn’t want to lose it. But there was no way to check out the features!

Encountered a severe problem, needs help. This app was once great and I have no issues with it, until a few days ago it told me to subscribe again which I already purchased a 1 year subscription. I tried purchasing the subscription again, it appears to be successful but in reality when I tried to read a book again it told me to purchase a subscription again right after I purchased one. I demand a response from the developer since I liked this app and I will forward you an email with the situation privately.

Access should not be this difficult!. I just purchased a one-year subscription with my phone. You immediately charged my credit card but gave me no opportunity to set up login credentials so I am unable to use it with my iPad. If this problem can’t be remedied, I will have no choice but to cancel and go back to Duolingo. Also it seems to not allow viewing the program in landscape mode once the app is opened. I did contact your support team about these issues but have not heard back yet.

Good app. It makes learning fun and easy to remember. I think the creators should make the pronunciation of the words. I also thought it was strange in the reading portions, if you click on a word you don’t know to hear the pronunciation, it a robot speaking in an American accent so it’s not even the correct pronunciation for the word. Other than this it is a good app, however, I personally pair this app with another learning app to balance out the kinks of this app 😂

Most helpful language app I’ve ever tried. I’ve only been using it for 4days but am already addicted! I’m able to read Le petit prince with true comprehension due to the translation in 3 ways. You hear the sentence verbally, you get individual word translation, and you get sentence translation which makes all the difference. Love this app!

Not Appropriate. Was teaching me inappropriate things. Also there were many glitches to the games where it would say I got 5 starts and I got 1 at the end where it showed your progress. There was sometimes where they would say the Spanish words in an English accent as in a person that doesn’t really know Spanish is saying it and you would have to repeat after them. Therefore, you end up with an English speakers accent. I tried the reading books portion as well and it didn’t help me understand what I was reading so I didn’t ever finish it. The app still needs some help for me to pay $99 a year.

Not honest. I saw this app on my Instagram, and it’s book reading got my attention, so I paid $50 dollars and purchased it, after that I saw there is no book or game available, just teaching English with using short parts of movies, then I asked support team and they said sorry books and games are not available in your language [Persian] and this is while when I was purchasing the app there was option for Persian language too. Now I’ve paid for an app that is not useful for me at all. So before purchasing the game make sure they have your language available because they are not honest and won’t refund your money.
