Solid App - But it has ads. I love this app. Happy calypso music in the background. Decent computer player. My only complaint is that this isn’t a freemium model app. I will pay $2 for an app without ads to unlock “pro” features, but an app with ads and pro features that cost just annoy me, so I probably won’t pay to unlock. A great great app! I highly recommend it!

AI player needs improvement. The computer opponent on the hardest setting is still fairly easy to beat if you are familiar with a few basic connect four concepts. It seems to make random moves instead of trying to win.

Fun game But.... Place three in the middle and you win each time. Maybe this is a glitch. But once you have three in the middle all you need is one more placed on either side and you win. It’s like that every-time for me.

Great App, Big Glitch. This app is great for practicing your connect four skills. However, if you try to place a piece on a column that is full, the sides will switch. For example, if I am blue, and there is a column to the top alternating blu and red, while it is my turn and I try to place a piece on top of the column, the game thinks I have placed a piece. But, no pieces were generated, making it the opponent’s turn, and I have not placed a piece. The game is programmed in a way that counts all the red and blue pieces, and decides what color the next piece played is, instead of the player placing the piece. This means that I would become red, and all the pieces I place would be red. But if red wins, it displays the opponent winning, instead of me, who placed the winning piece.

Poor AI. At first it was actually kind of competitive I was trying a bunch of different kinds of ways to win but I noticed the AI constantly making the same moves which makes sense if it helps them win but then I found a number of moves that the AI just out right ignores even when it’s blatantly obvious like a flat 4 in a row. Makes replaying the game less and less fun

Classic connect four vibes!. Love this game! I play with my family and kids and the people I met at the doctor’s office. Quick fun way to introduce someone to a casual game.

2 problems. This is a great game with cool sounds and visuals but there is two problems. The first is there is tons of ads and some are 30 seconds long. The second reason is when you play the AI if you place chips anywhere on the right side at the start he AI won’t recognize it and you will win every time.

Great. The way to always win is place one in the middle, then one on top of that one, then one on the right or left of the bottom one. You can win 2 ways!

Absolutely Horrendous. You would think creating a connect four game wouldn’t be that hard right? Apparently not for this company. The app is littered with predatory advertisements that don’t allow you to skip them or take you to the app store. Additionally, playing against the computer is absolutely broken. I don’t care about changing my avatar for player 1 and player 2 when the computer can’t even play the game. What good is polishing a game when it’s unplayable? The computer goes for the same spot every single time and it’s extremely easy to win. Would not recommend wasting your time on this.

Its okay. The game is fun because player 2 is fast. HOWEVER the same moves are repeated in each game. It starts on the left side and if you keep your pieces in a straight line on the bottom row while it continues stack up on the left side , youll win. Over and over and over. Theres no variety.

Simple, but add free isn’t add free. Nice game play, but there isn’t much randomness in the bot’s play, so you have to vary your play if you want to play different sequences. Also, I purchased add free, but still get ads for other games. There should be a multiplayer option.

Predatory ads. The app immediately pops up an ad to remove ads which is fine but taping the x just brings up the immediate option to pay 10$. The developers comment on most 1 star reviews acting ignorant to the fact that it is near impossible to tap the x. Then they ask for an email to explore the problem as if they don’t know that a little kid taping the x and then accidentally paying 10$ from their parents account isn’t the only way they make money.

Horrible. This game is great if you want to win every time you play. If you do not want to be challenged then this is the game for you. The computer plays in the left column EVERY SINGLE start of the game. I understand that I’m a “good” player but really ?!? even my three year old beat the computer on the “hard” setting five times before I deleted it.

Fun to play. Fun to play against the computer but wish it was more intuitive. The computer makes the exact same moves every single time. Becomes kind of easy to beat the computer.

This app is could be better. when you play against the computer it always does the same thing it goes in the same spot every time and it is annoying I do not recommend and I know it is a free app but there is so many adds and they are 30 seconds to a 1 min this app just could be way better but there is some good things about it you can change the background and the board and you can choose your own character over all just find a new four in a row app I know some people really like this app but I am not one of them sorry

4 in a row. Your game is so much fun it makes me want to do it in real life I have lots of strategies and I would like to see you make more games like this

Violent ads not suitable for kids. Had this game for half an hour and it literally plays a 30-second ad in between each game. I can understand making your users watch an ad after several games, but downloading this app should be called “Free Commercials! (with the occasional connect four game”. Additionally, the ads are not suitable for the age group that this app is meant for. Violet assassin type, blowing heads off, blood spattering, sniper ads. Ridiculous.

Connect four. Hi connect four is a good game just l do not want the same player to keep on winning.

Too easy to win. Once you play a couple of times against the computer, you learn that it makes the same move every time in the beginning. All you need to do to win is put your chip in the middle then another chip next to it and repeat that for the third and fourth chip. You'll win over and over again. Very boring and I suggest to update the app to learn new plays.

Pretty fun but a big issue. The game is pretty direct and fun untill you realize the bot does the same moves each time. This error allows you to win from the get go. I thought from an AI, it would be challenging, but if you place in the middle and place to the sides directly by it, the bot will do nothing to stop it. I eventually had to stop myself from going those places so I could play an actual match.

Love it. Keep up da great work. But there’s just something idk way but just is wrong with the game idk what it is tho mabey u could let us change our color of the circle thing but others wis great work on it

Adds are 10 dollars!. I play other games and the adds are 0.99$ to take them away, but this is too much money! Lower the price and i will most certainly remove adds

Connect 4. There’s one way to beat it every time. Must be a glitch in the program.

Ads. After every game smh. But still appreciate being able to play so conveniently, I would do ads every 2 games or 3 but capitalism strikes again... they already collecting data and profiting of that- but they gotta give you an ad after every game to really capitalize of your game night.... but still... appreciate the ability to play it... but excessive ad much...

Poorly programmed. It plays the same moves. If you start with the same position each time, the game is not programmed to play multiple options. Try starting the second from the right, the game plays far left, if you play next the third spot from the right, it drops again in the far left, then if you play the fourth from the right, it continues to drop the far left. You win every time.

Great game. I like this game. Hopefully in newer versions the game will be a little more developed because the computer seems to do the same moves every time. But other than that, it's great. :)

A review. I love your game how you can change your character in to fun characters like monsters and Wizards and I Also like how you can change your connect four pieces in to fruits and other things I love how you can change your background and play with two and one player.

Hmmmm. This is a fun game. The easy level is for kids (in my opinion). I play random, medium level. There is an even amount of difficulty at random/medium. The hard level is impossible to win unless you are a pro at connect 4. Unless you are playing with 2 players, you are competing against a computer that is able to predict multiple ways to trap you making it extremely hard to win. I won about 2 out of about 50 games at the hard level. I was able to tie the game several times [on the hard level] at best. The hard level is a good challenge, but you will probably get a little frustrated while playing.

I love your game. I Love your games so much. it’s a really fun game. I like how I never win but I also like when I win it’s a really hard game but I like how you can change the mode and it’s the best game ever.

Nope....not for ages 5+. I love connect four because it is simple and quick. However when you can beat your opponent multiple times in a row using the same strategy it gets boring quickly. And when I say the same strategy I mean I only had to drop four pieces total to win. Good game for kids though probably.

Great two player game!. I previously wrote a review concerning two player mode only letting player one go first, but I got a helpful response from the developers on how to enable random first turns. Thank you! This game is one of very few two player games I’ve found on the App Store. (It also has single player mode.) I like how the board and background are customizable, and you can chose an avatar for each player. The game works well, with no lag, and there’s an ad free version you can purchase. (it’s less than buying a physical game board.) I’d like to see more two player games on the App Store.

The most ambitious app yet. The creativity and true ambition to be ground breaking in the mobile app world is extremely represented by this company in their truely innovative app. Who would of thought of an app like this. THEY DID THIS

Too many ads. I understand a free game will probably have ads. I mean who in their right mind would make a game to not want to make money off of it. I mean I'm sure they worked very hard on such a simple game. The bot is also just too easy to beat. The bot seemed clueless to what it was playing and simply just let me keep making straight lines.

Life changing. My whole life I’ve been ticking and tacking, even a little toeing but this game - my god this game. It’s like tic tac toe, but with 4. What would that noise even be? Tup? Taz? Torf? What a time to be alive. I feel like Hasbro could really do something with this game.

Ms. The only problem I have with the game is, in the middle of the game it will switch the checkers on you. You start off being black; next thing you know your now red,. That's a major defect

Still getting ads. I paid $7 to go ad free but I’m still getting occasional ads. Occasional as in every time i play. Otherwise no complaints but i feel like i shouldn’t get any ads if i paid to go ad free

Played 20 games 30 sec add killed it. I get it you want to make a few extra cents with adds but after 20 games I had to watch the same” 30 second” add 17 times.... are you trying to run all your players off. Message to developer Make the pennies on each add in less of annoying way and you might get more players. Instead of loose them done with this game

Single player doesn't play well. Single player: if you play the center position first, then directly above it, then to the left and right. You can win in two different ways. Game does nothing to stop you. The computer will play in the same spots. Can do this as many times in a row as you want. Deleting this game. Hopefully another one is better programmed.

Good game but …. Ok so I understand that games need ads to make money and I’m fine with that but this game went to far. On the bottom there is a ad at all times witch is small and not that big of a deal but after the game is over there is a BIG square ad that is very in the way right below the play again button which isn’t the best but I can live with it. If it was just that my review would be much higher but after every single game you get like a 30 second long video ad which is very obnoxious to say the least. And as far as the game stuff goes it’s all good the difficulties are fair easy and normal are easy for me but her herd is quite challenging which I like and there’s lots of avatars I like the four different themes modern wooden classic and fruit and I like how you can change the background but the ads tho

AI is broken and predictable. The game is designed well visually, but the "computer" starts with the same few moves EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Again, the game is operational, although you might get a lot of ads, but they need to mix it up or fix something. Also, adding an option to change the difficulty of the bot would be nice as well.

Even “hard mode” is easy. This app is for beginners. Easy and medium modes don’t recognize horizontal lines at all, and hard doesn’t catch everything either. In my mind, “hard” should block every three in-a-row you get, and the only way to beat it should be to setup traps. This app’s hard should be labeled medium, medium should be labeled easy, and easy should really not exist.

Not worth 5 stars. Can’t give 5 stars when it’s the same opponent and I can win every game. For those who haven’t figured out the glitch...start from the center and play on both sides because the opponent doesn’t block you!

Glitches. I had a very good experience with this game but there is one thing that really blows my mind. If you place a chip on the middle slot and keep going to your right on every single chip you will win every single time. Please fix this glitch!

Take my money. I downloaded the app and played a few matches versus the bot and it was fun and all. So i decided to buy the ad free package for 10 dollars and it thanked me for my purchase or whatever and i continued and i still get an ad every 5-10 minutes which seems kind of unfair if i paid 10 dollars to get rid of ads. which is far higher than any other app. Not to mention the bot does the same thing every. single. game.

Inappropriate ads for a family game!!. I’m playing this with my 8yr old daughter and you allow.animated nude teenagers / kids drawing app ad to display??? How absurd! And $14.99 for ad free?? Forget it! Highly dissatisfied with this pathetic app! Don’t waste your money!

Too easy. I played 10 games and I won all of them in four moves. There is no challenge unless you purposely get into a bad situation. I would like this game if it didn’t hand you the win. It also has an ad after every game and that becomes annoying really fast.

System isn't so smart. You can bet this game every time if you place your 1st chip in the center than the next on the left, next on the right and finally choose your win. The system will play straight left side leaving you open for a the win every time.

Deceiving game. I downloaded this game and every time I clicked on the screen to place a chip it would prompt me to purchase the full version for 9.99 instead. Can’t even play the game for free because they want to trick you into paying for full version without ads. Very disappointing. Deleted the app immediately

Fun at first and good for pass and play. AI is really easy. Initially it was kind of hard, but then I realized it does the same pattern every time. Once you see it, you can just win in the exact same way over and over.

Ok. Needs a challenge level selection. It plays the same way each time. I could literally win every time if I start with the middle. It can’t adjust to opponents play. I have to make “bad” moves just to challenge myself

Fatal flaw. The computer has a blind spot to one of the most common offenses in connect 4–if you start in the center row and build to three in a row with blanks on both ends, the computer will not counter. Win every time. And then delete the worthless app. Amateur programming.

Not good. The app was extremely bad with an add after every game and the software had large flaws as it places the same way if you act the same way this way you can always win if you find a way to do it. Extremely disappointed.

Uninstalled immediately because of predatory ad removal. Pressing x opens up a prompt to get you to accidentally use touch ID to pay $6 to remove ads instead of just closing. Stuff like this needs to be reportable. $6 is also incredibly excessive for ad removal for a connect 4 app. Awful and will avoid developer in future.

Why is this game 17+ it’s connect 4 I played when I was like 3. I had to delete and redownload to change my birthday

Not challenging enough. The game has the same moves every time. I have to block their moves in order to play a game, otherwise, I would win by my 4th move each time. No brainpower necessary.

Disappointing. It may be a great game for those who are very very young or might have cognitive challenges but after 50 games can you make me a plate the same pattern each time and it responded with the same pattern stacking three of the same color on the left side without responding to any of my moves.

Ads. So many ads its ridiculous. Watched an add to launch the app then to adjust the difficulty to medium i had to watch another ad. I left the app to respond to a text and got another ad. I won in 4 moves and got another ad. 4 ads for 45 seconds of game

Too many ads. This has frequent, lengthy ads that you cannot ‘x’ out of. There are several other apps with this game that do not have all these ads.

Review. While I do see how the game can be fun; for me as a person who has played connect 4 for over 5 years- I find the hard mode against the computer to be extremely easy to play against and the moves to be predictable.

Too many ads. The AI makes the same moves every time. Too easy to beat. Also, the ads are those 30 second commercials you can’t close - and you get them between every game! With this AI that means the commercials are longer than the game. Lame.

Computer play is too easy. I wanted to play this game because I wanted to look in to how effective some strategies in this game were. However, the computer play is far too easy. It simply stacks up randomly and never blocks when I have 4 in a row.

No challenge.. There’s absolutely no challenge to this game versus the AI. As player 1, if you start in the middle, the AI follows the same path ever single time. I won more ten 10 times in a row to test my theory and the AI did the same exact thing every try. This app would be better if it had an option to play against real people.

Connect 4. VERY fun, there are different modes(you know what I mean if you play the game) you get to create your player for yourself, it’s DEFINITELY amazing and awesome!!!!!

Bad practice with ads. When you try and hit the “x” on the ads it does not work and instead goes to the purchase page. Very clearly hitting the “x”. Any app that uses these type of practices to get your money is not something you want on your phone.

This app is horrible. This app doesn’t even feature online against other players yet puts so many ads. They put a ad after every match in connect 4. This app is one big city for ads. I rather play the other app called Four In A Row instead of this one. Yet the other one is old.

The date is may 5, 2021. App still broke. You can win every time, as long as you don’t go in the very left column at the beginning, and as long as you commit to forming your 4 instead of using defense. You’ll win every game. Nice.

Long adds and lots of adds. Ling ads (30 seconds) after every game. Deleting app. Life is too short for adds that consume more time than the game.

Why. I mean like, I like it but when you’re on medium the computer just keeps going up, and it’s so easy, also there’s like no levels so it’s not really fun.

Ai stinks. In this game you can win every time play placing four chips on the bottom row, and the ai won’t stop you. No advance strategies can be practiced and you cannot (to my knowledge) play other people. It looks nice, but other than that I wouldn’t waste my time with it.

There is no challenge. When playing this there is no challenge. The computer doesn’t make any effort to block you or make the game competitive. You don’t have to think at all, so it makes it boring and uninteresting.

Connect 4. Too many adds

A Way to win easily. There is a way to always win, and its not very challenging. All you have to do is put three bottom pucks in the middle, and you win. Other than that, it’s a pretty good game. It’s simple and fun!

Needlessly Copies Contents of Pasteboard. This app copied the contents of my pasteboard which is huge red flag/security issue for a game app and led me to delete the app. When an app does this it can find the last thing you pasted like a password, a message you copied to send someone, etc.

Not smart. If you place checker in center, then next two left or right of that one you win every time. The game won’t block your next move (3 or 4). It will continue to stack far left column. Unbelievable smh, you’ll win four straight centered across the bottom

Old School Fun. Very nostalgic game that keeps the mind sharp. Doesn't take long to get addicted and begin to challenge others in the household.

Not Hard. The bot performs the same moves and doesn’t mix them up. I can win with my first four pieces no problem and the bot will never learn. If you could adjust the difficulty, that’d be better.
